I DO NOT own anything to do with Samurai Champloo.
(A/N) - My first shot at a Samurai Champloo fanfic and I wish all that read to enjoy and it is a must to review and honestly.
Chapter 1 - Corporeal Attraction
Walking through the woods, the cool breeze ruffled the leaves and my clothes. I tried to relax but it was hard. I kept telling myself to wind down, but being me, it has been kind of difficult.
I am Jin. My purpose in life is the purpose of many heroes. Fight for truth and justice. At least it was until a little while ago.
Now I am caught up with an impatient girl called Fuu who is in search of a so-called samurai that smells of sunflowers. And also a peculiar man of the sword who goes by the name of Mugen.
He is an undisciplined and messy fighter, but the only one so far to have matched my own skills. Him and myself have been through a grueling fight, survived a fatal fire, tortured side by side and being dragged off on this pointless quest together.
Not to mention the countless attacks on my life by him and outside parties. He has had his fair share of assassination attempts also.
Then one night it happened…

The day had been rough and fast. The night had come and still we wandered through the darkness. We had been seen by people of a place we were wanted, and the best choice we had was to escape.
We came across an abandoned hut that was not too far from a hidden hot spring. It was perfect for laying low for a few days.
I had collapsed as soon as we had set up our mats. I fell asleep immediately. But my subconscious was haunted by dreams.
Leaves. Pain. Speed. Frustration. Sorrow. Regret. Blood.
There was fire around, and I was grasping my sword, fighting a losing battle… I turned around. I saw the blood of that woman. Fuu. Her black hair had come undone and she was sprawled on the ground, dead.
I turned again. In time to see Mugen fall from the sword of the enemy. I fell to my knees, suddenly weak. Instantly I heard a soft whistling and a dull thud. I was gone…
I jerked awake. My muscles burned from not relaxing them before sleeping. My mouth was dry and I was clammy. I reached for my sword, next to the bed and walked out the door.
The cool, night air was fresh and made me shiver slightly. The moon was bright and wisps of low clouds hung in the sky. I took in my surroundings as I walked. I was careful to keep an ear out also.
I could hear someone as I neared the spring. I dashed behind some bushes that were in close proximity. The steam rising from the spring was thick, but through the vapour, there was a figure splashing in the water.
My body tensed, the fine hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I slowly reached for the blade at my waist. It was then that I breathed a sigh of relief. It was only Mugen.
I was momentarily immobilized by the sight of his bare torso. It was then that I realized that I had a deep respect for this man, and actually admired him.
I slowly made my way to the spring. He looked up at me. His dark eyes staring directly into mine. What was the look he gave me? Our eye contact was lost a second later.
“What are you doin here?” The vagrant asked me. I wasn't surprised by his verbal reaction to my presence.
“I am perfectly entitled to be here without permission from you.” I answered defiantly and truthfully, all the while averting my gaze from his.
He stood there fleetingly his face contorted in thought before he gave up trying to think of a valid argument against my comment. I slid off my clothes and laid them neatly on a rock. Mugen continued in his splashing and flailing.
In only my undergarments, I lowered myself slowly into the hot water. I seemed to ignore the other man's company but found myself looking up ever so slightly but more and more frequently as the minutes drifted by in the cold air above us.
I absent mindedly splashed water over my upper body, keeping it warm when I decided it was safe for another glance.
His eyes were on me. He saw my cautiousness and my panic. Even I didn't believe him to be that stupidly naïve. The look on his face was hard to read. Was it anger or annoyance? His swift movements didn't give me the time to contemplate much longer.
“What do ya think you're doin? Why the fuck are you doin it?” His expression was still unreadable. Without thinking I relapsed to my usual questioning of his authority.
“I was not doing anything, as a matter of fact. I will look where I want to and without anyone else's say.”
“I've had enough of your bullshit ravings on about doing what you want!” Mugen advanced on me. “I've had enough already.”
He swung an unorthodox fist at my head. I dodged it easily but was put a little off balance. I used this lunge against him and swayed where my balance took me and forced my power into an elbow aimed at his midsection. His body curved away from my blow but left his torso open. I attacked.
After anticipating every possible outcome of this fight to accommodate me, I was stopped in my tracks. What I saw was both terrifying and strangely satisfactory. Floating between his legs was Mugen's manhood. My cheeks immediately went hot.
Mugen stopped dead in his tracks also. He knew what was happening within me. I took a few steps back and averted my gaze with great difficulty. I bowed my head apologetically. The steam caressed my body.
Calloused hands roughly grabbed my face and turned it upwards. Hot lips pressed on mine was what followed and Mugen's hand stroked my hardening cock through my loin clothes. I made no attempt to push him off me. His lips left mine and I could taste his sensuality on them still.
He spoke to me, smiling slyly.
“I knew you were looking at me that way. It's not like I gave a rats ass anyway.”
