Muahahaha! I'm back! *Gets smacked by someone* Owww!! Anyway, this is the second series on the Hate, Love and Flaming Roses stuff! ^^; Hope you all weren't too mad with the ending…but if I didn't do that, …I…uh…can't tell you! :p OK! Here's the first chapter of this!! AND IF YOU DIDN'T FINISH HATE, LOVE AND FLAMING ROSES, READ THAT FIRST!

It's been three and a half months since Zero's death. Everyone still missed the flirtatious knight….but none missed him as much as Bakunetsumaru. He tried his hardest to move on with his life, but every day and night he always thought about Zero. Everyone else knew of this and wished they could do something to help; but nothing was going to mend his broken heart. Nothing.

Bakunetsumaru started training harder after that fight. And when he was called to fight the Dark Axis whenever they were stupid enough to try anything, he showed very little mercy. Captain and Guneagle had to knock him out before he did anything too severe. The Dark Axis were a bunch of idiots, but even they didn't deserve that!

" Bakunetsumaru, sup hommie?" Guneagle said while passing the samurai in the halls. Baku gave a nod in greeting. " Hey, nothing much. Just going out to train."

" Again?" Guneagle sighed. " Dude, you're so gonna kill yourself with your training one of these days!" Baku shrugged. " By the way, are you feeling better?" Bakunetsumaru just got over being sick in bed for a week again. His sickness started to go on and off like a switch now that Zero was dead.

" I'm fine for now."

" Just try to take it easy, okay?" Guneagle said in concern. " I don't want to go and rush you to Lyn again."

" Don't' worry, I won't." He then slightly bowed. " Thanks for your concern for me…" He then turned and left.

Guneagle sighed. " Poor guy…And I was really hoping him and Zero would be a couple…but now…" He shook his head. " This is just sad…" He then continued on his way to see Chief Haro.

Bakunetsumaru had a fight with Kikumon the other day, and learned that Zero did some strange magic attack that injured the zombie greatly. At that fight, Bakunetsumaru kept hacking away at her, but she wouldn't die. That, and he recovered his other sword that she stole. She managed to escape again, which made Bakunetsumaru beyond furious.

He flipped a sword in the air, then caught it with his other hand, and hacked at a tree.

" Damn thing…" he muttered about his former sister. He has now given up hope of that vile creature being his sister. He hit the tree again.

He didn't know that she was a zombie yet, but he probably wouldn't care about that either. He just wanted to kill her, Cobramaru, and that despicable Kibaomaru. Though he did want to know why she wouldn't die even though she could be in a million pieces.

Nothing made sense to him anymore. Nothing might never will anytime soon for that matter…

He just now realized that he had already cut down the tree and was cruelly attacking the tree stump. He stopped, sheathing his sword. He then say down beside the trunk, and decided to count the rings.

" Three hundred…thee hundred six…" There were three hundred and seven rings all together. That was how long he was expected to live actually. Mushas were able to live for many, many years. One even lived to be seven hundred. He then wondered how old Zero was…

He probably wasn't any older than he was. Baku was young, but by Arc standards, he was an adult. He can't remember his age precisely since he never had the need to remember, bit he was about twenty.

He shrugged. That didn't matter now, so why was he thinking about it. Oh well, back to training.

Kikumon stared intently at her brother as he trained in the magic mirror. It used to belong to Tallgeese, but Kibaomaru took it from Lacroa and gave it to her.

" Strange…" she muttered while sitting in front of the magic mirror. She took a sip of some Sake she had next to her. " After all this time, he has not forgotten about that worm…"

" Indeed."

" Cobramaru, how many times must I tell you to knock?" Kikumon growled while putting the bottle down. Cobramaru chuckled while standing in front of the rice paper door.

" I don't see any reason as to why I should. You're not doing anything except staring at that mirror." Kikumon snapped her fingers, and the image swirled for a moment, then turned into a normal reflection.

" State your business, Cobramaru."

" Kibaomaru has summoned me to fetch you." Kikumon's head shot up. " Take me too him now."

Bakunetsumaru went to the beach as the sun decided to set in the horizon. He didn't feel like going back to base so soon. He strolled on the shore as the waves lapsed at his feet. He stared out at the sparkling water. It was so beautiful at this time of day to him. Before he came to Neotopia, he had never seen the ocean before. He lived more inland, and only seen pictures of the sea and oceans and tales.

One time he was chasing Zero around for turning one of his swords into a giant rose---which this was before Fenn came around--, and followed him out here to kick his ass. But when he got out here, he was mesmerized by the water and forgot about Zero.

Well, for a while anyway. And then Zero pulled a little prank on Baku, and made a tidal wave crash onto the shore with his magic. But it pulled Baku far from shore, and he would have drowned if Zero didn't save him. He didn't talk to Zero for the rest of that week.

Baku laughed at the memory. He was so made at Zero then, and Zero knew it too! Zero would always try to apologize, but Baku would always brush him off until he thought his punishment was enough.

" I even miss arguing with that stupid knight…" Baku sighed. The sun had disappeared a while ago, and stars were starting to peek out of their hiding places in the sky.

He lowered his head as his eyes started to get glossy. " Damn you Zero…Why did you have to leave me?"
