Bakunetsumaru nervously stood in the old, rusty warehouse that night, hoping he did the right thing. He didn't tell anyone he was there because they'd just come here and maybe shoot at the guy.

So, he was in the dark, alone, somewhat scared, and ...was in the dark. He didn't like the dark since ghosts and things he didn't like lurked in darkness. Great.

" Ah, so you came after all. I'm glad..."
Baku spun around with a yelp. He darted his yes around, but saw nothing in the pitch black. " W-who's there??" he stuttered, fingering his swords fretfully.

" Calm down child. I will not harm you..."

" Why don't I believe you, then?"

A shadow moved from behind him slightly. Baku saw it, and turned around. The shadow was still, but Baku could see it in the dark. " Well," Baku started. " What do you want?"

" To warn you of something..."

" First, tell me who you are." Baku then recognized the voice. " You're that guy in the carriage!"

" Correct."

" So, who are you?" Baku asked. The shadow was silent. " That is none of your concern," he said. His voice was rich and deep. " But you should be wary of going places alone...even in your dreams..."

" What?" Baku tilted his head slightly. " What are you talking about?"

" There is someone you should be wary about other than Kikumon...He may not seem dangerous, but he is lethal."

" Who?"

" You must figure that out on your own..." Baku groaned. " Yeah, that's REAL helpful!" The shadow chuckled. " I am sorry, but that is all my master will allow me to say."

Baku blinked. " Master? Who's that? And you still haven't answered my previous question as to who YOU are! ...Hey, did you send me those flowers?"

" The answers are: I cannot say for who my master is, I will not revile who I am, but you may call me Drain. And as for the flowers, yes I did send you those...did you like them?"

Baku blinked again, not really knowing what to say. " Well....yes..."

" Glad to hear. Now, I must leave." Before Baku could stutter anything more, the shadow vanished into the darkness.

" Er...huh?" Baku's eyes swirled for a moment of confusion. " What's going on?! I hate it when people confuse me like that..."
