Sonic ran out of the city and desperately called his son, knowing full well that he wouldn't survive on injured legs. "Shoot! He shouldn't have run off like that! There's no chance he's gonna beat Blade in his current state!" Sonic ran around some more, turning up empty, but not in his determination.
"Sonic! Wait up!" Sonic turned around to find Amy being escorted by Sonie. Sonie placed Amy down on the ground and gave Amy something, which she relayed to Sonic. "Here, its a Power Ring! It should help you find Michael, since he's so fast, the power ring is the key factor in keeping up with, and even going faster than, our son." Amy smiled and kissed Sonic on the lips, Sonic embraced her as long as he could, not knowing what dangers would await him.
"Amy..." Amy looked at Sonic with tears in her eyes, knowing that, with Tikal's body, Blade could very well restore his old bodies former self. The only question on Amy's mind was WHEN it would happen. "I wouldn't live another day if anything happened to you or our sons. Tails' loss was hard enough, but I couldn't bear losing either of you."
Sonic looked back towards the horizon, the city quiet as a thistle and not a soul in sight. "Sonic, please, do be careful." Amy whispered to her husbands ear. Sonic looked back at her and simply grinned, dashing off to find his crippled son.
"...Come back alive, dad..." Sonie thought to himself as Amy watched for several good minutes at Sonic's fleeting form. "Umm, mom? I think we should head back now." Amy turned around and nodded her head, holding out her hand for Sonie to take. Sonie grabbed Amy's hand and dashed back to Michael's house, leaving a father to find his son.
"I'm coming, Michael!"

However, deep below the surface of the earth, an orange echidna was making her way past fire and brimstone, gnashing her teeth as the lighter side of the afterlife was directly above her, out of reach forever. "Hmph! Foolish creatures! They think they can prevent me from reclaiming my righteous place as the ruler of all? I'll show those pricks that they should never have messed with Blade." Tikal muttered as she finally came to the, decaying, body of Blade.
"Hold it right there, intruder!" Tikal looked up to see the spirit of a young fox standing guard near Blade's rotting body; two tails fluttered in the air as spirit drew out two swords of flame, flashing them back and forth to prevent Tikal from getting to Blade's body.
"Foolish fox...you are merely delaying the ineveitable. Come now, do you really think you can fight me with what little strength you have now?" Tails's spirit winced at this remark but stood fast guarding Blade's body.
"Better for me to keep you from getting to this accursed relic then for me to lose a fruitless fight!" Tikal merely shook her head and smiled a vicious smile.
"Very well, then, this should be very interesting, fox boy." Tikal swiped her hand at the spirits hands, prying both swords from the spirits possession. "Honestly, did you really think that you would stop me from realizing what the spirits have already decided as fate? Fool! You are not fighting me alone, but all the spirits who agreed with this as fate!!" Tikal screamed as fire poured out of her mouth, devouring the spirit of Tails, leaving it to wither in the air.
"S-S-S-Sonic!!!!" Tails' spirit managed one last cry before he was carried away by the unsettling gusts of wind, a smile formed on Tikals face as she kneeled infront of Blade's rotting form.
"Well, well, well! We meet once more, old friend. Time to rejoin and finally get revenge on those pricks who wanted me destroyed." Tikal levatated in the air and gasped as her healing powers went directly into the body of Blade, healing the numerous battle scars, open wounds and deep tears from the previous fights, restoring Blade's body to near-perfect condition. Tikal faintly smiled as all her power had been used just to revive Blade's body, now she merely had to give up Blade's spirit to finalize the process.
Before Tikal could do that, though, another spirit appeared, it was the spirit of a giant gladiator. Dressed in gold armor and a red spike protruding from the helmet, a sinister laugh arose from behind the spirit. Tikal looked weakly at the giant spirit infront of her, expecting a formidably-sized opponent. Instead, she saw a young man probably in his early to mid teens, black hair covered his head with a tall, sharp spike in the middle.
"Yearg! Who are you? I demand you reveal yourself!" The young boy simply chuckled at Tikal's impatience and pointed a long pointed spear at her, its sharpness glistening in the red sky.
"Some call me Apocolypse while others call me future Shaman King...I am Lenny, and this is my spirit partner, Basson!" Len drove his spear into the ground, creating a large earthquake to form around Blade's body.
"No! My body!" Tikal suddenly fell limp as the body of Blade was sent plummeting into a deep chasm below. Len merely laughed at his triumph and put away his spear. The next thing Len knew, however, the area around him began to glow bright red, Len looked back in horror to find Blade's body floating right infront of him.
"No way! Basson, Rapid Tempo!" Len delivered flurry after flurry of spear charges, but none of them made its mark as Blade seemingly made it look easy. Len looked wide-eyed at the enhanced Blade infront of him: five horns were fitted on his hands and a red Ruby stuck its way out on Blade's forehead.
"Now, its time for me to take my leave and end this puny universe for good." Len covered his eyes as Blade vanished in a spectacular white light, his laughter could be heard for what seemed like hours. Len looked woefully at Basson, knowing that he didn't stop Blade from becoming revived.
"All of what Tails did and what I did...for naut...There's no chance in the world that Yoh would be able to stand up to something like that!"
