“Ren! No, Ren! Please, come back!” A shrill, high pitched voice screamed out in terror.

A figure, running through a void of complete darkness, her blue locks whipping around wildly. Her hand, reaching out for someone. Someone very close to her heart.

As the girl neared the male, thinking that she was so close now, she could reach out and take hold of his hand. Alas, as she was in mere steps of reaching, grasping her lover, he faded away, consumed by the rippling waves of darkness.

The girl’s eyes widened, small pearl droplets slowly beginning to drip down her soft features.

Holding her head in her hands, her hair draping over her, she fell to her knees crying.
“Ren…Ren… Come back to me…REN!”

It was like this ever night, or, almost every night. The nights that the girl did not have dreams such as this, she was allowing her imagination to get out of her control. Her mind, taking her to a pleasuring dream world, where she could imagine the male’s sweet words, his loving kisses, and tender caresses.

She’d always wake up, though, covered in thick layers of moist, sticky, sweat. After that, she would curl up in her bed, and cry.

The pain in her aching heart seemed to be indelible, never to be healed again.
She knew, though, what could ease her pain. She knew. But she could do nothing about it.

She could always try to fall in love again, she’d try to tell herself. But she could never manage the feat.

She tried-She really did. But, her heart got the better of her. Meeting new people only made the pain resurface, after she had finally thought that the wounds had been sealed, they reopen.

Besides, she could never love anyone except for the great Tao. The man she fell in love with from the time she had first laid her deep, cobalt eyes on him.

His perfect build, cold eyes with hidden, unseen emotion. His dark, straight, fine purple hair. His malice. His stare. His smirk. His everything!

She loved every bit of him. She wasn’t some stalker fan girl, though, that’s for sure. She just loved him, and she still does.

Even if he doesn’t love her back, she would give the world, her life, anything and everything for this Tao.

One day, just maybe, fate will allow their lives to collide, and help those true feelings and pasts resurface, and allow the heartache to subside…
