Chapter 9

<Meanwhile, outside Motople>

"DAMNT!!! DAMNT!!! DAMNT!!!!!!!" Lark shouted in a rage as he was pounding his fists through the walls.

"Calm down, Lark! Throwing a temper isn't going to do us any good!!!!" Frieta shouted to her comrade, trying to calm him down.

"Shut up!! When I want your pity I'll ask for it!!!" Lark took a swipe at Frieta but she dodged it.

"What the fuck is your problem?! Just because you let that girl and Shadow beat you and me doesn't mean you can just hit people!!" Frieta shouted at Lark.

"Oh, can't I?! Thats what I'm doing right now!! When I find that girl, that bitch is going to pay!!!!!!!" Lark shouted as he rammed his fist through a tree, knocking it off its foundation.

"You really should get some anger management, Lark, that constant temper of yours is gonna get you a heart attack!" Frieta said calmly.

"Didn't I tell you to shut the fuck up?! When I want your pity I'll ask for it!!! So shut the hell up you hoe!!" Lark shouted.

That last comment pissed Frieta off supremely as she kicked Lark in the nutsack, bringing him to his knees.

"You listen here, Lark, I am the baddest bitch around, so don't piss me off, you understand me?!!!!!" Frieta gave a slap to Lark that could be heard on the Ricther Scale if placed next to it.

Lark felt the hit but had no idea that he had a mark the size of a grapefruit on his face from Frieta's hand.

"Now, are you going to calm down or do I have to do some more ya bastard!??!" Frieta slapped Lark again, suprisingly it calmed Lark down somewhat.

"Sorry...I shouldn't have said those things I said about you...We need to find that girl, though...she will pay...with her life...!!" Lark said evily.

<Meanwhile, near downtown Motople>

Shadow and Gina had not parted their eyes since they met, both of them unable to remove each other from the locks of the others gaze.

"Gina...? Is there someplace you would like to go?" Shadow asked.

Shadow had just asked Gina the first thing that came to his mind at that moment, but Gina thought Shadow meant it, so she happily answered his question.

"I want a chili-dog!" Gina shouted.

At this, Sonic, Sonie and Susan all drooled.

"CHILI-DOGS?!!!" All three of them said at once.

Sonic, Sonie and Susan were dashing off towards the nearest chili-dog stand, ironically, the same one that Sonic had emptied just the other afternoon.

When the three approazhed the stand, the people who were buying got the hell out of there as the chili-dogs were no more in less then 20 seconds flat.

"Tell you this, Amy, those kids of yours are just like their father...!" Shadow chuckled as he saw the mayhem ensue from the chili-dog brawl.

"Yes indeed, Shadow!" Amy laughed back as Sonic and Sonie were playing a game of tug-o'-war with each oither with a chili-dog.

"You have some strange friends, Shadow..." Gina commented, getting the three eating hedgehogs' attention immediately. "What...?!" Gina asked, confused at the silence that had just ensued.

"Its a long story, Gina...a very long story..." Shadow said as he put his arm on Gina's shoulder, making Gina blush ever so slightly.

"I guess...guess so...!" Gina tried to fake a laugh but couldn't help but feel a little bit turned on by Shadow's appearence. "Wow...what a hunk...wonder if..." Gina was unable to finish that thought as she soon found herself being flung into the chili-dog pile along witgh Shadow, all five in the midst of chili-dogs.

"Food fight!!" Sonie yelled as all five began to throw chili-dogs at each other.

Meanwhile, Amy was just standing there, amazed at all five of her friends.

"This is going to be a long day..." Amy shook her head as she too jumped into the pile.
