Chapter 23

<Meanwhile, back at Calhouns castle>

"Now, Blade, you have been fused with the most powerful weapons I have in my arsenal, and I am sure that you will be most pleased to see the results they can do!" Calhoun said eagerly, getting a grin from Blade.

"You said it, Calhoun!" Blade eplied, laughing evily as he saw Calhoun walk back towards his lab.

Suddenly Blade thrusted a spike through Calhoun's throat, killing him instantly.

"Tck...fool...thinking you could control me!? I don't think so! I am my own self and I don't need the likes of you to help me!! However...I must thank you for diffusing me with these weapons! I'm sure they will come in handy later on...!" Blade said evily, tasting the blood off of Calhouns neck.

Blade grinned as he dashed out of the castle, leaving a dead Calhoun behind.

"That fool, he actually thought that I was going to befriend him...I seek to destroy this world, not make friends with people...I don't care what they may do for me!" Calhoun said to himself, frowning somewhat as he felt a pain in his forehead from the diffused weapon.

"That damn Calhoun...I wanted weapons not pain! Oh well, he's dead anyway...I didn't need him anyway..." Blade said to himself as he transformed into his super-form, the chemical reactions within his body caused the diffused weapons to cancel each other out, removing the diffused mechanics from Blade's body.

Blade stayed super for about twenty minutes, making sure he got all the diffused weapons out of his system.

"I don't need these crummy toys to beat Michael...I don't need ANYONE!!!" Blade yelled to no one in particular, his anger echoing in the horizon. "Those fools thought they knew Bill...they don't know me AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

<Meanwhile, at an island 30 miles away from Motople>

"Emergency reports are in for the damage assessed to Motople caused by the devastating F5 twister that hit about 3 months ago: approxamitely $45 million in damage and over 300 injuries with 40 deaths."

Three faces were looking at the TV screen, anxiously looking at the damage caused by the twister.

"Damn...that place never saw what hit it..." a red echidna of about Michael's size muttered.

"Those poor people...I hope they can get that city rebuilt soon..." another red echidna said.

Meanwhile, there was a yellow echidna was standing near the TV set, his eyes closed in deep thought.

Suddenly, his eyes opened and he realized that there were people down there they he knew.

"Michael and Sonic are there!!!!!!!"
