A/N: Just so everyone is clear on this I am deleting all of the current chapters for Changes. This is because what I have done to it so far sucks! So I will start the whole story over so nothing will be the same and I will try to update more often. So let's get started!

 

 

 

Chapter 1: I hate Tuesdays

 

 

It was a very boring and hot day in the city of Station Square. People were cursing at their air conditioners for breaking down, other people were making the best of the hot day that had been bestowed upon them. But Sonic the hedgehog was the most bored of all. Walking the city streets headed toward nowhere in particular. “It's too damn hot to do anything out here.” The cobalt colored hero mumbled to himself. While he was walking down the sidewalk he spotted kids playing in a urine filled swimming pool having the time of their lives. “Idiots.” Sonic murmured at the disgusting site before him. “I think I'll head to the 7 eleven for a nice cold slushy.” He said to himself and began to walk toward the nearest 7 eleven store.

 

Upon entering the store Sonic saw bunches of people in line purchasing cold slushies to cool themselves down a bit. Sonic squeezed through the lines and grabbed himself a slushy cup. “I wonder what flavor I should get?” he wondered aloud but he soon shrugged off the thought of what flavor he wanted and decided to randomly pick one. “Mountain Dew flavor should be nice.” Sonic confirmed and pulled the lever to make the cold drink pour into his cup but nothing happened. Sonic tried again but this time he pulled down on the lever harder but he received the same outcome to when he pulled the lever the first time. The blood in Sonics veins began to boil from the frustration that was building inside of him. Sonic decided then to just get another flavor and he chose the nastiest flavor you could possibly choose….coconut. Sonic pulled the lever but just as before nothing came out. This frustrated Sonic to no end as he tightened his grip on the lever he was holding. “Come ON!” Sonic bellowed and pulled the lever down as hard as his arms would allow making the lever break. The azure hero watched as the slushy machine began to violently shake and make weird noises Sonic began to back away as the machine burst letting all the delicious flavors (except coconut) fly all over the place covering Sonic in different Slushy flavors. This made all of the people that were in the store happy and refreshed except for Sonic who walked out of the store without a word.

 

 

Sonic exited the 7 eleven and continued his way down the streets of the city then an idea popped into his head. `Tails! I'll go to the Mystic Ruins and see how he's doing.' Sonic thought and walked toward the train station. Sonic purchased a train ticket and hopped on the train. “The train for the Mystic Ruins will be departing shortly.” The conductor said through the intercom. Sonic sat down in his seat and waited for the train to take off. During the train ride Sonic began to think `I haven't seen or heard from anyone in months, I wonder where they are?' Sonic wondered but his trail of thought was interrupted by a loud “PING” signaling the end of the train ride. Sonic banished his thoughts to the back off his mind and got off of the train. “Wow! I forgot how beautiful the Mystic Ruins were.” Sonic said to himself and began to walk in the direction of Tail's house.

 

 

Meanwhile….

 

 

Tails was in his workshop fixing up the Tornado 2. “Whew…” Tails grabbed a paper towel and wiped the sweat from his forehead then got back to work. “The Tornado 2 should be a lot more stronger now that I've installed an inscrutable power source it'll be even more powerful!” Tails exclaimed. “That's enough work for today.” The double tailed kit said and he put his tools away and headed for the kitchen. “I didn't notice how hot it was today. It will start to rain soon.” Tails confirmed as he washed he hands in the sink then walked into the den plopped down on the couch and began to watch the tube. “I wonder where everyone is? Oh well.” Tails shrugged off the thought and continued to watch his Plasma screen television.

 

 

Meanwhile…..again….

 

 

Sonic was still on his way to Tails' house when he came across a black female hedge-fox with a white muzzle, chains around her wrists, a red tanktop, with black sweatpants with red streaks on the side, red fingerless gloves, Shadow the hedgehog style quills without the highlights, and silver and white shoes on laying on the ground unconscious. Sonic ran over to the mysterious hedge-fox and picked her up. “I better take her to Tails house to heal up.” Sonic said and raced off toward his pal's house.

 

Sonic was on Tails' front porch in a matter of seconds. “Tails open up.” Sonic ordered from the outside of his workshop/house. “Hold yer horses I'm coming.” Tails replied while he opened the door. “Sonic who is she?” the young vulpine asked his lifetime friend about the strange hedge-fox in his arms. “I don't know Tails.” Sonic answered “I just found her laying on the ground unconscious and I decided to bring her here to rest.” Sonic finished. Tails moved aside so that Sonic could walk in with the mysterious stranger in his arms. “Sonic put her down on the couch over there and I'll go get a thermometer to check her temperature.” Tails requested. Sonic did as instructed and put the hedge-fox down on the couch a few seconds later Tails came back with the thermometer.

 

 

Tails then inserted the thermometer into her mouth. “What's the thermometer for?” Sonic asked in confusion. Tails sighed and began to explain to his somewhat slow friend. “The thermometer is to see how high her temperature is or how low it is. It is from there we can determine how sick she is and how much rest she needs in order to become better.” Tails explained to his friend, Sonic replied with a nod. “Hmmm….let's see.” Tails mumbled as he pulled the thermometer out of her mouth. “Her temp his 101.2 so she should be fine in a day or two.” Tails said.

 

Sonic not having done so before decided to take a good look at this mysterious animal. “Hey Tails she's kinda weird lookin' don't ya think?” Sonic asked. “Well now that you mention it….” Tails trailed off and began to examine her. “Looks to me like she's half hedgehog half fox.” The young prodigy stated

 

“So she's a hedge-fox?” Sonic asked putting two and two together.

 

“Correct!” Tails exclaimed. “Now you're understanding!” Tails added

 

“Yeah whatever.” Sonic replied but then came to realization “Hey Tails you don't happen to have an air conditioner on you do you?”

 

“Why yes. In fact I have 5.” Tails replied. Sonic opened his mouth as if he were about to speak but Tails cut him off “Yes Sonic you can have one.” Sonic leaped for joy and zoomed upstairs in a sonic second and returned with an AC in his arms. “I'll call you when she wakes up.” Tails said walking Sonic to the door. “Yeah see you tomorrow buddy and thanks again!” Sonic said and walked out of the house not noticing the clouds forming in the skies above. “See ya!” Sonic zoomed off toward the train station. Tails took this time to look up at the sky and saw the clouds forming. “He'll never make it home before it rains.” Tails chuckled and walked back inside and shut the door behind him.

 

 

Sonic however didn't stop and wait for the train he ran along the train tracks instead. He wasn't going his usual pace due to the AC in his arms but he was still going Super Sonic speed. Sonic got to the Station Square Train station in a matter of minutes and was on his way to his house “Almost there.” Sonic whispered and made it to the door and began fumbling with his keys.

 

 

“Got it.” He murmured and put the correct key in the keyhole. As soon as he opened the door a downpour started. “FUCK!! I hate Tuesdays!
