Chapter 16

Michael and the remainder of the "Freaks" marched into Eagle-Eye's center sector of town and encountered the gang "Apocolypse"

"You! Move out of our way! We have a city to take over and a civilization to crush!" a gruff echidna of about Michael's height spoke.

"Who do you think you are intruding on our raid of this rotten city?!" a black hedgehog flexed his arms, revealing quite strong muscles.

"My question to you is why are you doing this?!" Michael took a step towards the gangs leader, Bill who stood scowling at his former best friend, Chris.

"We have waited long enough for this accursed government and its people to acknowledge our existence! Its quite obvious that this city doesn't give a damn about us or its people, only in its own greed and power!" Bill shouted in Michael's face.

"You are wrong, Bill, this city knows you are here as do I! This is a foolish decision that will cost you dearly in the end! Don't do something you're going to regret later on." Michael was saying to an ignorant Bill.

"You think I'm going to listen to the words of a nobody?! Do you think I'm impressed by what you've done to save this dump?! You father was worthless to me, and him bringing you in was like adding to the garbage pile! You and the rest of this city are unnecessary, pointless, debris that needs to be destroyed! You, Michael, are nothing but a lousy piece of mother fuckin' shit!" Bill lashed out, causing Michael to land a punch on Bill's face.

"You take that back you cock-eyed bastard!" Michael gave Bill and the rest of his gang a death-stare, causing two of the gang members to slightly back away.

"Once again, you show me and the rest of us your ignorance and foolhardiness...if you think you and the rest of that "gang" you have are going to stop me and my much larger one, then you are gravely mistaken! I have with me the best that there is in the gang world today, whether in the past or the future! Face facts, Chris, you're too old to continue! Gloria, you lousy bitch, you need to go off with the other guys like the whore that you are! Larry, Hank...you guys need to put your foot where your mouth is and suck on a shotgun!" Bill yelled at Michael and the "Freaks"

"Look at you, you sick asshole! You're so jealous that you had to start something of your own! You're right, I was getting old and weiry! You were to be my successor of this gang, but your selfish pride and impatience was too much and you decided to show your true colors, which are trhe same color as you: Yellow!!" Chris lashed out at Bill, who was filled with anger, knowing full well that he was wrong and Chris was right.

"Enough talk, fight now!!" Bill started a battle cry and charged towards the outnumbered "Freaks" led by Michael.

"You thin you can beat me?!" Bill landed a puch on Chris's face, only to get clobbered in the mouth by a kick from Gloria.

"Chris may not beable to, but I can!" Gloria waited for Bill to get up when she landed another kick on Bill's face.

"You stupid...cheesy...lousy...son of...a bitch!!" Leo said as he was desperately trying to hit Michael, who was far too fast for Leo to contend with.

"You think that this is impressing me, Leo? This "assault" of yours is downright pitiable...I can't stand to see you continue to make a fool of yourself..." Michael landed a kick to Leo's jaw, instantly knocking him out. "Such a pity..." Michael uttered to himself.

"Die you orange freak!" Gretta lashed at Michael's back with her sharp claws, only to get a punch in the face as payback.

"I know I'm not supposed to hit a lady, but you're going to be the exception to the rule!!" Michael said as he landed another puch to Grettas' jaw.

Suddenly, Michael turned around to see Tikal being held at gunpoint by Bill and his bodyguard echidna, Bruno.

"Enough!!" Bill cocked the gun next to Tikal's head. "If you want this bitch of a girlfriend you have to live, then surrender yourself and the "Freaks" to me!!" Bill brough the gun back up to Tikal's head, Tikal looked at her boyfriend with tears in her eyes.

Michael looked at the freaks and gave a look of indecisiveness to Chris. Chris looked at Michael and then the others, giving Michael a nod and slowly started walking towards "Apocolypse"

"Alright, I've surrendered, now let Tikal go!" Michael was on his knees, but not in begging, but from being ordered to by Bill's bodyguard.

"That was too easy." Bill pointed the gun away from Tikal and shot Michael point-blank in the chest.

"NO!!!" Tikal screamed as she saw her boyfriends limp form crash to the ground.

"Shut up!" Bill hit Tikal in the head with his fists and ordered the "Freaks" to be cuffed and led towards Eagle-Eye's center square to be killed one-by-one. "This city will be mine, and its inhabitants will surrender to me, or be killed by me!" Bill shouted in laughter as he started tying up each of the "Freaks" to a seperate telephone pole.

"There's ten of youz left...all wez have to doz iz destroy youz all!" Mitch said.

"On my mark!"Bill shouted for the gang members to raise their guns towards the bound "Freaks"

"Ready...

...aim...

...fire!!!" Bill shouted as gunfire filled the air, Tikal had closed her eyes to keep the sight out of her eyes.

When the dust settled, the "Freaks" were riddled with bullet holes and blood gushed from their lifeless bodies.

"NO!!!!!" Tikal cried as she felt a hard object smack her chest.

"You, on the other hand, wpuld make a fine victim of torture!" Bill said as he licked his lips and notioned for the others to get closer to Tikal.

"No, you wouldn't dare!!" Tikal slapped Bill in the face, barely flicnhing him.

"There's noone who can save you and you might as well admit that you won't find anything like us anywhere else, baby!" Floyd said as he slid a hand under Tikal's shirt, getting kicked in the grapefruits as a result.

"Keep your hands o-ahhhhh!!" Tikal felt the prying hands of the gang seize her, leaving her helpless and powerless towards their advance.

"Now, you're going to enjoy this, baby!" Bill notioned for the biggest member of the gang to tep forth towards Tikal. "This, Tikal, is the biggest and baddest of my gang! His name is Bruno, also my bodyguard!" Bill ordered Bruno to rape Tikal.

"Please!! Somebody!!!" Tikal screamed frantically for anyone to help her, but to no avail: Michael had been shot, the "Freaks" were dead, and everyone around her was either too scared or too enveloped to do anything.

Tikal knew that she was completely helpless towards the monsters, and she was about to accept her fate.

At the last instance, Bruno felt his soft cushion-like victim dissapeer, causing Bruno's dick to hit the pavement hard.

"What the hell?!" Bill looked around to see how Tikal managed to get away.

Next thing Bill knew, his bodyguard, Bruno, was on the ground, bleeding from the mouth as one-by-one, his gang was being picked off by some unknown assailant.

"Who goes there?! I demand that you show yourself!!!" Bill frantically shouted towards the air.

"Over here you big bully!"

Bill turned around to find a crimson-red hedgehog about three inches shorter then he was standing over Bruno.

"How dare you trash my little party!" Bill shotued as he went to punch the assailant in the face; Bill's punch went right through the assaulter's body.

Bill looked horrified when he saw this, but never got to speak as he found himself being hurled way up into the air.

When Bill was out of sight, the mysterious figure went back over to Tikal and went to see if she was ok.

"Are you ok?"

"Oh...I-I..I think so....." Tikal slowly got up, seeing that the "Apocolypse" had been decimated by this unknown hero.

"My name is Kyle."

"Thank you very much, Kyle, for saving my life from tho-oh no!! MICHAEL!" Tikal suddenly realized that her boyfriend had been shot by Bill.

"Michael?! What about him?!" Kyle looked extremly worried; he had been in training since Michael had defeated the Mecha Monic (From "A New Threat 2") and had trained to extraordinary levels. His speed had been drastically increased as well as his strength. His speed was only hindered by that of Michael's.

Kyle rushed over to where Tikal said Michael was and inspected his friends body.

"No!! Michael, please wake up!!" Kyle was shaking Michael's body in an attempt to revive him.

"Michael!" Tikal startd to feel her eyes well up as she felt the tears of saddness stream forth over Michael's body.

"Michael..." Kyle started crying as well as their sobs echod throughout the dusk sky of Eagle-Eye.

"He...he...he can't be gone...not now-no-no! He confessed his love, we still have a child to raise...you can't be dead, Michael!" Tikal embraced Michael's shoulders as she felt like her one and only had been taken from her.

Kyle started pounding his fist on Michael's chest, notcing the bullet in his body. Kyle easily pulled it out and saw the blood rushing from the open wound.

"Michael..." Kyle started remembering the past times he and Michael had shared in their early years as friends: how Michael had taught him the first steps towards eunning faster, and even giving Kyle the running shoes he needed to run faster.

"Michael!" Tikal was still crying her eyes out as she clutched her boyfriends hand tightly with hers, unaware of the slight pulse that still beated within Michael's hand.

"Lets go, Tikal..." Kyle fele himself getting emotionally distressful and wanted to get as far away from the reality as possible.

After a few seconds of walking, Tikal and Kyle heard a maon from behind them.

"What was that!?" Tikal looked at Kyle with a suprised look on her face.

"Do you think it-..." Kyle couldn't finish his staement as he saw, infront of his own eyes, Michael rise from the ground, and standing on his feet, the wound in his chest dissapeered completely, causing Tikal to stare in shock and Kyle to faint.
