It was morning. and the sky was sunny blue. Not a cloud in the sky. the seagulls were sqwaking as the glided thrugh the cool breeze of the sea air, and the sea...the clear blue seas had reflected upon the bright and beautiful sun that gazed down.
The bright sunrays had awoken Maruu, who was not yet ready to get up yet.
"Nugh....no, need sleepy, don't wanna get up yet..." Maruu groaned.
She had snuggled something...or someone, she had thought was her pillow. She had sighed with content on how nice and warm it was. She felt heaven, but she didn't know why. Just then she felt a arms wrap themselves around her body. She had instantly feel the heat rush to her cheels burning red--their was only one person she knew that was in the bed with her.
"Mornin' sleepy-head." Knuckles said with a cheery smile on his face, which made her blush more.
"O-o-oh.....g-good morning Knuckles-s-senpai..." Maruu has just stared at him with awe. She had never bein this close to her crush. She felt like she could just stay this way forever; to be in his warm embrace; to be with him. Maruu was completely in love him, and wanted to be by his side...always.
"You wanna get up now? Or should we just be together in bed?" Knuckles teased.
"Uhh...l-let's get out of bed. I'm sure we're at the island by now." She had got out of her bed and did a few streaches, then went to the bathroom to change.
A few minutes later,the girls were having girl talk in the lobby, except Cream, she was at the Port talking to Tails.
"...I swear that Baka get's on my last nerve! Ou t of all the people, I had to be paired up with...." Maruu groaned.
"Aw, don't deny it--you like Shadow." Amy teased.
"Y-yeah right..." Marii cheeks had begun to turn red.
"Ha! Your blushing! You do like him!...Or do you love him?" Amy teased again.
"....I-I guess you could say that...." Marii admitted. She could feel her shades fogging up.
"Wow!! You do?!" Amy and Maruu both shouted with delight.
"So what happened last? Were you two fighting or somethin'?" Amy asked.
"W-well..." Marii had begun to blush again.
She had begun to tell Amy and Maruu what had happened last night and their ears were purked up to catch every single word of detail.
