THE PERFECT DATE?

A/N- Chapta two is up now! Thanks to all those who reviewed saying they liked it. Yes Zane, I know what I said. Anyway, I still don't own Sonic and company no matter how much of a shock that is to everyone. I wouldn't be surprised if I own nearly as many, if not more, than they do. I was wrong in my A/N yesterday. I have over 70 characters that I own and share with Sil. Crazy know? Anyway, I'm sure you want me to stop babbling so here's the chapter!

Shadow lies down on his bed and turns off the light. He thinks about the day he had and the kiss he shared. It was like his dream came true. As he thinks about this he slowly drifts into a deep slumber.

/In Shadow's Dream/

A younger Shadow and an even smaller black and pink hedgehog that looks remarkably like Amy are sitting on the floor. The small hedgehog is giggling as Shadow tickles her.

"Shadow! Stop!" the girl says through laughs. Shadow stops. The girl smirks and tackles him. She begins to tickle him and he doesn't laugh. "No fair!" cries the girl. "You're not ticklish!"

"All is fair in love and war Cel," says Shadow. He ruffles her hair.

"Shadow?" calls a voice. "Celestial? Are you two in here?" Maria walks into the room. "There you two are!" She walks over to the two hedgehogs and sits next to them. She picks Celestial up and puts her on her lap. "What have you two been doing?"

"We were playing," says Celestial. "It wasn't fair. Shadow isn't ticklish." She crosses her arms and pouts.

Maria giggles at the look on Celestial's face.

"What did you come in here for Maria?" asks Shadow.

"Oh," says Maria. "I almost forgot. I wanted to give these to Celestial." She pulls out two gold bracelets and gives them to Celestial.

Celestial stares at the bracelets in awe. "They're so pretty! Thank you so much!" She hugs Maria tightly and puts the bracelets on her wrists.

"Your welcome Celestial," says Maria.

"Look Shadow!" says Celestial. "Now I have bracelets like you!"

Shadow simply smiles.

The scene changes and Shadow is now in the day he became immortal, and the day he matured so quickly.

Shadow walks out of the lab he had been in. He is shaking slightly. It had been a painful experience. Celestial, who is still only half of Shadow's size, runs up to Shadow.

"Hey Shadow,!" says Celestial. "Do you wanna see the picture I drew?" (He is around 12 and she is 6)

"Not right now Cel," says Shadow. "I've got training today, and I want to rest before it starts, so could you go pester someone else today?" says Shadow in an annoyed tone. He really didn't mean for it to come out that harsh. It just did.

Celestial, being very sensitive, began to sniffle slightly. "O-oh, okay." Cel looks down. "I-I'll j-just go then." Cel runs away quickly. She goes into her room.

Shadow runs after her. He runs into her room and finds her under the covers in her bed. Her room is purple with magenta lines bordering the edges of the walls. Her bed's covers are pink. Her room has a sense of cheer in it and her walls are full of pictures she drew. Most of them are poorly drawn. Celestial is huddled in a ball like most hedgehogs do when they are upset and want to be left alone.

Shadow sits on the bed and pulls the covers off of the girl. "I'm sorry Cel," says Shadow. "I didn't mean to be so rude. I'm just a little sore right now." Cel stays in her ball. "Come on Cel. You can't stay mad at me forever." Celestial's eyes can be seen slightly through the ball she is in. "Please except my apology Cel."

Celestial unrolls and hugs Shadow tightly. "I'm sorry I was annoying you!"

"It's okay," says Shadow. "I shouldn't have even said that. So, can I see the picture you drew?"

"Yeah," says Cel. She gets off the bed and walks to her desk. She takes a piece of folded paper off of it and walks back to the bed. She was a bit small for the bed so she had to climb up it. After she is seated she unfolds the picture and hands it to Shadow. It was a picture of a poorly drawn Shadow and Celestial. From the looks of it the drawn Shadow was reading to Celestial. "What do you think?"

"It's great Cel," says Shadow.

"Really?" says Cel.

"Really," says Shadow.

"YAY!" exclaims Cel. "I'm gonna show Maria and Gerald and all the professors!" She takes the picture and runs out of her room.

"Shadow laughs. "Little sisters can be so weird."

"I heard that!" comes Cel's voice.

The scene changes again and this time an 18 year old Shadow is leading a 12 year old Celestial to Gerald's lab. She is shaking slightly.

"Don't worry Cel," says Shadow. "It will only hurt for a little while."

"I'm still scared!" says Celestial. "I don't want to get hurt!" Shadow opens the door to the lab and he leads/drags Celestial in.

"Why hello Celestial," says Gerald.

"Hello," says Celestial. Her voice was a bit nervous.

"You have nothing to worry about," says Gerald. "You can leave Shadow. Why don't you see Maria? She's been wanting to talk to you."

"Okay," says Shadow. He walks out of the room ands shuts the door. He walks to Maria's room and they begin to talk. The, suddenly, lights begin flashing. They are a warning meaning there is danger.

"Shadow," says Maria. "We have to hurry!"

"What about Celestial?" asks Shadow.

"Don't worry," says Maria. "Grandpa can lead her out!" They are running down a corridor when a gunshot. Maria is about to be shot. The bullet seems to be coming at slow motion…and then…

Shadow wakes up abruptly. He has cold sweat all over himself. "What was all that about?" asks Shadow. "Was that just a dream…or was it some of my memories?" He looks at the clock by his bedside. It is 11:00. "I've got to hurry or I'll be late!" Shadow quickly takes a shower. He puts on a clean pair of gloves, and his usual air shoes. He leaves his house, locks the door and then goes to Amy's. He rings the doorbell and Amy opens the door. "Ready to leave?" asks Shadow.

"Yeah," says Amy. She is dressed in blue flared jeans, a red tee shirt, her usual red headband, and sneakers. They walk to Twinkle Park and get in for free because couples get in for free. (They do in Sonic Adventure DX anyway.)

"What do you want to do first?" asks Shadow.

"How about we go on a roller coaster?" asks Amy.

"Sounds great," says Shadow. The couple goes on a few rides then decided to get some lunch. When they get to the food court they see Knuckles, Rouge, Tails, Cream, and Sonic sitting at a table. Knuckles and Rouge seem to be arguing. Tails and Cream are talking together and Sonic just seems to be thinking.

"Hi guys!" says Amy. She grabs Shadow by the wrist and pulls him over to the table.

"Oh, Amy," says Sonic. "You didn't come here to ask me out did you?"

"Of course not," says Amy. "I came here with Shadow!"

Sonic, who had been sipping pop, sprayed pop out of his mouth and all over Tails at this statement. "With…Shadow?"

"Thanks Sonic," says Tails sarcastically. "That was ever so refreshing!" He leaves to go to a bathroom to clean up his fur.

"Of course with Shadow," says Amy. They order lunch and go back to the table. As they eat Rouge and Knuckles continue to argue. Tails and Cream went off to play games and Sonic is eating his food. After they finish Shadow and Amy get up. It is late afternoon so there was time for one more ride. "Let's go on the Ferris Wheel Shadow!"

"Okay," says Shadow. They walk off.

"Let's follow them," says Sonic.

"Why?" asks Knuckles.

"I want to see what happens!" says Sonic. The group, now with Cream and Tails included, walk onto the Ferris Wheel. They get the seats right below Shadow and Amy. The Ferris Wheel begins to spin and fate chooses to have it stop with Shadow and Amy at the top.

"It's so beautiful," says Amy.

"It is," says Shadow. Shadow kisses Amy and she begins to kiss back. Sonic sees this and rage boils within him. He turns and sees Tails and Cream talking to each other again and to his surprise he sees Knuckles and Rouge kissing.

"This day is full of surprises!" says Sonic.

Shadow and Amy break apart panting. After a few moments they begin to kiss again.

"This day couldn't get any worse!" says Sonic.

/On the Ground/

Celestial moves towards the line for the Ferris Wheel and begins pushing people out of the way. She reaches the front of the line.

"Excuse me miss," says one of the Park's workers. "I'm afraid you will have to return to the back of the line."

"Oh," says Celestial. "Well you're going to have to make me cause I'm not moving an inch."

"Miss. I will give you one final warning. Go to the back of the line now or you will be kicked out of the park."

"Here's my answer then," says Celestial. She pushes him out of the way and walks to the Ferris Wheel. The lights go on. Celestial uses her feet to make a hole in it. She sticks her hand in and absorbs the electricity. The light go out and the ride stops moving. Static is moving around her body again. She goes back to the man who is now shaking in fear. "My answer." She touches him and the electricity on her body flows into him. He screams out loudly and falls to the ground dead. She then hears a voice.

"Stop what you're doing right now!" shouts Tails.

"And what are you going to do if I say no?" asks Celestial.

"I'll teach you a lesson!" says Tails.

Celestial laughs her cold laugh. It sends chills up Tails spine. "Good joke. Take this! Magnetism!" She waves her hand and Tails feels weird. Electricity is all over him. His body is being pulled towards the metal Ferris Wheel. He hits it hard. He tries to move and fails.

"What did you do?!"

"I made you like a magnet! Anyway, that should hold you!" She flies into the air. `Get ready Shadow!' she thinks. `Cause here I come!'

/With Sonic/

"I guess I was wrong!" shouts Sonic.

"It's okay Cream," says Tails. "I'm sure they'll have it fixed soon. In fact, I'll go down there and see if I can help!"

"Be careful Tails," says Cream.

"Don't worry," says Tails. He flies down. After a few moments they hear a scream.

"Tails, please by okay," says Cream. She runs over to Rouge and hugs her.

"It's okay sweetie," says Rouge.

"Just what's going on down there?" asks Knuckles.

"I don't know," says Rouge. "But I'm going to find out! Knuckles, make sure Cream is okay."

"Got it," says Knuckles.

"I only wish I could help," says Sonic.

Rouge flies out. The park is beginning to get dark but she sees a figure flying in the air. "Hey, you! You don't know what's going on do you?"

"Oh," says Celestial. "Yes, I do actually."

"Could you tell me?" asks Rouge.

"You see," says Celestial. "I simply drained the power from the stupid machine so it would stop. I then used that electricity to kill one of the workers. That's the scream you probably heard. Then some stupid fox got in the way so I simply turned him into a living magnet."

"You…you did this?" says Rouge. "You are gonna pay!" Rouge flies towards Celestial.

"That's what you think!" says Celestial. " Static Stopper!" She simply touches Rouge's head. Rouge suddenly can't move and she begins to fall. Celestial grabs her arm.

"How can you do all this?" asks Rouge.

"That's none of your business!" says Celestial. "

"You are nothing but a monster!" shouts Rouge.

Celestial glares at Rouge. "To think I was gonna let you live. Oh well." She simply lets go of Rouge's arm. Rouge screams.

"ROUGE!" shouts Knuckles. He glides down and catches her. He puts her on the ground and suddenly goes stiff himself. "What?!"

"Forgot to mention that," says Celestial from behind them. "That particular move travels from person to person with physical contact." She flies back into the air.

/With Sonic and Cream/

"Don't worry Cream," says Sonic. "I'm sure Knuckles and Rouge are fine. Same with Tails."

"Are you sure," cries Cream.

"Of course I'm sure," says Sonic.

Cream continues to cry.

"Aww, is the baby scared?" asks Celestial. She is perched on the edge of the cart.

Sonic turns to Celestial. "How are you balancing on that?"

Celestial answers by sticking up on of her feet.

Sonic's eyes widen when he sees the feet and notices her wings. "What are you?!"

Celestial glares. "You'll pay for that remark! Magnetism!" She points her finger at Cream. Cream flies from Sonic's hand and gets pinned to the middle of the Ferris Wheel. She begins crying harder.

"Stop it!" shouts Sonic. "Can't you see that you're scaring her?"

"Oh," says Celestial. "I'm so sorry! I'll just release her. I'm sure she would prefer to plummet to her death!" She flies over to Cream and puts her pointer finger on her head. The electricity on Cream's body leaves and she falls. Celestial flies back and perches on the edge of the cart again.

"CREAM!" shouts Sonic.

"Poor little hedgehog!" says Celestial. "Are you sad?"

"Are you the jerk that stopped the ride?"

"Who else has the power to drain this much electricity? Anyway, now it's your turn." She begins to charge electricity in her hands when Cheese hits her. Cream used her ears to fly back up.

"You insolent little brat!" cries Celestial. "You deserve to die!" She shoots her electricity at Cream who barely dodges.

/With Shadow and Amy/

"What's going on down there?" asks Amy. They have been sitting in the dark for a very long time. It's to dark to see much, but they see yellow flashes somewhere below them.

"I have no idea," says Shadow.

"I hope everyone down there is okay," says Amy.

"So do I," says Shadow.

/Sonic, Cream and a very enraged Celestial/

"Hold still you little rugrat!" shouts Celestial. She continues firing attacks at Cream until she receives a Homing Attack to her back. She loses her balance and falls onto the ground.

Sonic grabs her and holds her in a position that makes her unable to move. "What are you trying to do here?" asks Sonic.

"I'm not going to tell you that," says Celestial. "Anyway, you are going to be releasing me now."

"Why would I do that?" asks Sonic.

"This is why!" says Celestial. She opens her mouth and an unearthly sound comes from her mouth. It is nothing Sonic has ever heard. It is loud and ear splitting. It was like a birdcall only louder and higher in tone and pitch. (Like the call of a hawk or eagle only louder and higher) Sonic releases Celestial and puts his hands to his ears. Cream falls out of the sky. She couldn't listen to the sound, but she can't fly with out her ears so she passes out.

/With Shadow and Amy/

Shadow and Amy put their hands to their ears.

"What is that terrible noise?" shouts Amy.

"I don't know," answers Shadow. "But what ever it is I'm sure it isn't a good thing!"

/Celestial and Sonic/

The lights on the whole Ferris Wheel shatter and break. Celestial stops her call and while Sonic is dazed she paralyzes him. She looks over the edge and with her good sight she spots Cream. Luckily(for Cream) she lands on a Dino Jump. (One of those inflatable fun things!)

"Now for Shadow," says Celestial. She flies quickly to Shadow and Amy's cart and silently perches on the edge right behind Shadow and Amy. Celestial makes a small birdcall similar to the one from before except it wasn't as loud. Shadow and Amy turn around. "Hello Shadow. Long time no see."

"Who are you?" asks Shadow. "And why have you been attacking people?"

"You don't remember your own sister?" asks Celestial.

"What?" asks Shadow. He thinks of his dream. "By any chance is your name Celestial?"

"Ding, ding, ding," says Celestial. "Okay folks, I think we found a winner! Now for my revenge! I'm going to destroy you for what you've done to me!" She flies into the cart and attempts to claw Shadow with her talons. Shadow and Amy move out of the way.

"What are you talking about?" asks Shadow.

"You promised me that I was safe with Gerald!" shouts Celestial. "You promised! You promised me that I would be okay!" She attacks Shadow again forcing him to roll out of the way. "You ruined my life, and now I'm going to ruin yours!" She turns to Amy. She smirks and flies towards Amy. She uses her feet to grab Amy by the shoulders and fly her out of the cart and high into the air. "And I'll start by killing your girl friend right in front of your eyes!"
