UsagiGirl: Hey all! I'm back. I didn't get any reviews *sniff* but I'll post the next chapter anyway… but this time I really won't put up the next one unless I really get some reviews! Really!

Shadow: You know you aren't fooling anyone.

UsagiGirl: Yeah… Hey! How'd you get here? Anyway, I just wanna know people are reading my stuff. I'll never contact you or mention your name or anything!! Now, on w/ the fic!

The next morning, Doctor Eggman woke up on the floor with his mother looking down on him. "Are you okay, son? I thought I heard something odd down hear last night from my room upstairs."
"I'll be fine mother," he said and pushed her away.
"You know I always worry about you. I wonder if you grew up to be manly enough because of your father dieing when you were two. Your grandfather always thought you were going to grow up to play with dolls and care for the animals. What is your job anyway?"
"You know, government stuff. I deal with the mayor and the President."
"I'm so proud of my little boy- here, I made some pot holders for you; I know how much you like baking cookies."
"Aww. Thanks mom! I'll bake you some chocolate chip ones when I get home! But I have to go run some errands and do some things at work. I may be back late." Robotnic walked out and headed towards his '89 Volkswagen Beetle. "I think I need a new weapon of mass destruction. Off to K-Mart I go!"
As he pulled into the parking lot, Robotnic saw a shape on the rooftop. It looked like…Sonic? Why would he be up there? Oh well, Robotnic thought, if it is him, I think I want to go shopping before I check it out.



Meanwhile…
Sonic and his friends were ready to go. They had gotten some sleep, eaten, did a few exercises, and forced Amy to stay behind. "Okay, does everyone remember the plan?" Sonic asked Tails and Knuckles.
"Yes! We've gone over it a million times! Let's just go kick- er-find some hedgehog butt!" exclaimed Knuckles.
"I'm almost ready, Sonic," said Tails. "I just need to find the keys to the Tornado… oh here they are!"
"Okay then, let's go!" yelled Sonic. The team all went in separate directions. Tails went to the park, Knuckles went to the harbor, and Sonic headed towards the stores, specifically K-Mart. When Sonic got to his destination, he saw Eggman walking into the store. "Trying to cause some trouble, eh Robotnic? Not on my time!" Sonic murmured. He walked in the door and silently followed Robotnic. He didn't do anything right away, so Sonic figured he was probably just going to shoplift. Then Sonic had a brainstorm. Maybe Shadow and Robotnic were working together again. If so, Sonic could just hang on to the back of Robotics' car and wait until he gets to his hideout. Well, Sonic, as you may know, has a very short patience as well as attention span. He sprung from behind the wall of toilet paper he'd been hiding behind at Robotnic and was about to tackle him when someone beat him to it. He couldn't see who the attacker was because Robotnic and him were rolling and wrestling around the store. Robotnic was screaming but the attacker was silent. Sonic looked up and saw a clean hole in the ceiling.

"Hmm. That villain wrestling him must have come through that hole," Sonic muttered.
"Well duh! Oh, Sonic the hero! He restates the obvious for all the stupid towns' people and saves the day by doing so!" A sarcastic voice behind Sonic made him jump in surprise. "Oh, I'm sorry did I scare the lil' hedgy-poo? Is it his naptime?" Sonic turned around to see who the person was and only saw a blur of someone quickly jumping up. He turned back around and saw the blur rush past the ball of Robotnic and the attacker and leave only an unconscious Robotnic. "Come on, Shadow!" the blur said and disappeared.
