(A/N: This epilogue contains some Tails + Cream in it. If Christinatails is reading this right now, I recommend that she not continue past this point.)

- The scene: Cream's house. Vanilla, her mother, is sitting on the stoop of the house when Cream and Cheese come running into view. -

Cream: Hi Mom!

Cheese: Chao! Chao!

Vanilla: Cream?

Cream: I'm back!

Vanilla: (hugs Cream) Oh, I'm so glad you're still alive. I was so worried that you may have been captured by Eggman again.

Cream: I wasn't. But I defended myself a bit. Sonic and the others helped out too.

Vanilla: Did you get to thank them for their help?

Cream: Well, no, actually. Not yet, anyway.

Vanilla: Why don't we go and do that, then? That was probably the scariest series of events I've seen. And your friends were among those who fixed it. I think they deserve some gratitude for their service.

Cream: Tails is just down the beach. We can just walk over there.

Vanilla: Good idea. Let's go see him.

- Vanilla, Cream, and Cheese start walking through the nearby beach to get to Tails' workshop near the Mystic Ruins. Along the way, however, they discover that G-mel has washed ashore; intact, although seemingly unconscious. -

Cream: (seeing G-mel) *gasp* Oh no!

Vanilla: What is it, Cream?

Cream: (huddles closer to Vanilla) It's G-mel! He's still alive!

Vanilla: Who's G-mel?

Cream: One of Eggman's bad robots! How did he survive Super Sonic's attacks?

Vanilla: So Super Sonic was needed to take this thing down? This robot sure is powerful.

Cream: Hey! I have an idea! Let's take it to Tails! He can fix G-mel so he won't act mean again! He can make it just like Emerl used to be!

Vanilla: Great idea. Can you and Cheese help me carry him there?

- The three pick up G-mel and carry him to Tails' workshop. Fortunately, they don't have to carry the robot that far. -

Cream: (calling into Tails' workshop) Tails? Are you there?

Tails: (from inside) Cream? Come in.

Cream: (stepping in with Vanilla) We have something to show you, Tails.

Tails: (looking at the robot they are holding) Huh? G-mel? But - how -

Cream: We found him on the beach. Since this robot seemingly can't be destroyed, could you fix it so it could be like Emerl?

Tails: Yes, that is possible. But Eggman could still have some surprises in that thing.

Cream: Please, Tails?

Tails: (pause, then) Well, okay. It'll take a while, though. I'll help you take him down to my lab.

- Tails helps Cream, Cheese, and Vanilla take G-mel down to the main lab room in his workshop. Once down there, he hooks G-mel into two metal bars hanging from the ceiling. -

Tails: All set. (to Cream and Vanilla) Now, you may want to come back after a few days. Like I said earlier, it'll take some time to reprogram G-mel.

Cream: But I wanted to watch you work for a little while.

Tails: Well, okay then. Maybe you can help me out too. (looks at G-mel's back) I'll need a 5/8 wrench. (searches through tools to his right) Now where did I put that one?

Cheese: (holds up 5/8 wrench) Chao.

Tails: Oh. Thanks, Cheese. (takes wrench and uses it to unscrew a bolt on G-mel's back)

Vanilla: (to herself) Oh! I almost forgot! (to Cream) Cream, we really should get going. I'd like to stay longer, but I remembered that I have some stew cooking back home. It'll be done soon.

Cream: Oh, alright. (to Tails) Good luck, Tails. See you later!

Tails: Thanks, Cream. Remember, a few days from now I should be done.

Cream: Bye! (leaves with Cheese and Vanilla)

- A few days later, Cream and Cheese go back to Tails' workshop by themselves to see how G-mel is coming along. -

Cream: (knocks on door) Tails? Are you there?

Tails: Yes. Come in. G-mel is finished.

- Cream and Cheese enter Tails' workshop and walk into the lab. Tails is there to greet them. -

Cream: So, how did it go?

Tails: Excellently. I've reprogrammed its systems so it will only battle if ordered to do so by its master.

Cream: Who's its master?

Tails: Here, step in front of it for a second.

- Cream steps in front of G-mel, and Tails goes to a nearby laptop and types in something. -

G-mel: (holds out right hand) Hello. My name is G-mel. What's your name?

Cream: My name is Cream. (points at Cheese) And this is my special Chao friend Cheese.

Cheese: Chao! Chao!

G-mel: Master registration… … … New masters: Cream the Rabbit and Cheese the Chao.

Cream: Huh? I'm its…master?

Cheese: Chao?

Tails: You got it!

Cream: Wow! Neat! Wait until I tell Mom about this!

Tails: There are some other features I should tell you about. Just like Emerl, he'll take orders from anyone that you tell him to obey. I've also programmed him to understand the Chao language, so he can act as an interpreter to someone who doesn't understand the language. And for security, I've equipped G-mel with a radarscope, an alarm system, and a lie detector machine that reads brain waves.

Cream: Thanks, Tails. You're the best. (hugs Tails)

Tails: Glad to help, Cream.

Cream: (to G-mel) G-mel, let's go to my house.

G-mel: Okay.

Cream: See you later, Tails. Thanks again.

Tails: See ya!

- Cream and Cheese escort G-mel back to their house. When they arrive, Vanilla is pleased to see them. -

Vanilla: So, how'd it go?

Cream: It went great, mom. Tails gave it some other features too.

Vanilla: Like what?

Cream: A lie detector, an alarm, and some other cool stuff.

Vanilla: (to G-mel) G-mel, can you tell me about some of the features Tails installed in you?

G-mel: … … …

Cream: G-mel, obey my mother!

G-mel: Okay, Cream.

Vanilla: (to G-mel) What are your special features?

G-mel: Besides an alarm system, Tails has equipped me with a radarscope that detects heat from living organisms and electromagnetism from robots. I also contain a lie detector machine that can read brain waves; that guarantees the truth, if any, of someone else's statement.

Vanilla: I have to remember to thank Tails the next time I see him. This is great!

Cream: G-mel, you wanna play?

G-mel: Sure. I have an idea. (whistles toward the trees; a bird perches on his arm)

Cream: Hee hee. Now I know for sure that you aren't mean anymore.

G-mel: How about we play on the beach?

Cream: That'll be fun!

Vanilla: Now you two be careful. Don't get lost.

Cream: We won't, Mom.

- Cream, Cheese, and G-mel all go to play on the nearby beach. After about an hour, Vanilla calls them to come back. -

Vanilla: (in the distance) Cream, G-mel, dinner's ready!

G-mel: Let's go! (runs off to Cream's house)

Cream: G-mel, wait! (trips) *sob*

- Noticing that Cream tripped, however, G-mel comes back and pats her on the head a few times. Cream stops crying, and she gets back up and walks with G-mel to her house. -
