The names that I've given Eggman's machines aren't their official names, so you have my permission to use them if you wish.

- The scene: in front of the Master Emerald altar on Angel Island. Sonic and co. Chaos Control into view and immediately head up to the Master Emerald. However, G-mel is already there to "welcome" them. -

G-mel: (to Sonic and co.) This is the end of the line.

Sonic: I don't think so, G-mel!

G-mel: Oh, but I do! Chaos Control!

- G-mel warps behind Sonic, but Sonic is able to get out of the way before G-mel can damage him. -

Sonic: Relay time!

- Sonic slams G-mel in the head with his foot. Tails then steps up and whacks him in the stomach with his tails. Knuckles pounds him to the ground with a single punch. Amy performs an attack with her Piko Piko Hammer to cripple G-mel even more. Even Cream and Cheese do an aerial attack to deliver a fatal blow. G-mel, however, is able to get back up. He jumps over the edge of Angel Island behind the Master Emerald. -

Sonic: After him!

- Sonic and co. rush to the back edge of Angel Island. G-mel doesn't appear to be there, but then the island begins shaking furiously. Eggman slowly rises up in a huge android-type mech. -

Amy: Oh my God!

Cream: It's huge!

Eggman: Isn't amazing how I've been able to stay one step ahead of you the whole way? Now you will soon regret your sluggishness for all eternity!

Sonic: "Sluggish?" No one calls me sluggish! Chaos Control!

- Sonic warps up to the head of the mech, but its hands quickly grab Sonic and slam him into the ground three times before letting go. -

Sonic: (gets up) You think that's enough to stop me?

Eggman: This ought to.

- The mech's hands clench into fists and take some swings at Sonic. He Chaos Controls out of the way of two of the attempted punches, but the third connects and Sonic is propelled into the Master Emerald. -

Sonic: Ow. That hurt more than I thought it would.

Eggman: You can't stop me now! I too much power from the Chaos Emeralds for you to handle!

Sonic: (to himself) Chaos Emeralds. Wait a minute. (to Tails and Amy) Give me your Chaos Emeralds!

Amy: What's the point? Eggman will still be able to stand up to you!

- One of the mech's fists starts to wind up for another attack. -

Sonic: (takes out the red Emerald) I have an idea! Now give them to me!

Tails: I think I understand what he means.

Eggman: Say goodbye to your Master Emerald!

- As Tails and Amy toss the blue and green Emeralds to Sonic, the mech punches at Sonic again. Once Sonic catches the Chaos Emeralds, he absorbs their energy and creates a force field that suspends the fist in front of him. He then uses the energy of the Chaos Emeralds to slowly move the hand toward the Master Emerald. -

Cream: What's he doing?

Knuckles: (to himself) Just a little closer…

- Once the fist is touching the Master Emerald, the entire mech starts short-circuiting. -

Eggman: What? No! My power is going down!

Amy: Yeah! Go Sonic!

Knuckles: The Master Emerald is neutralizing the Chaos Emeralds in the mech! (to Sonic) Sonic, get the other Emeralds and destroy that thing!

Sonic: You got it!

- Sonic flies into the mech, and a few seconds later, the purple, yellow, clear, and sky blue Emeralds fly out and land near the altar. Some explosions are heard from inside the mech, and it starts to explode after Sonic leaves it. The damage it received causes it to fall down into the sky in flames. -

Sonic: (landing near the others) That should be the last time we see him for a while.

Amy: (hugs Sonic) You did it! Thank you, Sonic!

Sonic: (nudges out of Amy's hug) Always glad to help. (picks up the other four Chaos Emeralds) Now we have all seven Emeralds!

Cream: (points to another side of the island) Sonic! It's Eggman!

Sonic: (looks over and sees Eggman and G-mel) What? (to the others) Get to the Master Emerald! (rushes off to Eggman and G-mel)

- Eggman notices Sonic coming and turns his ship around to greet him. -

Eggman: I bet you're so out of energy that G-mel can take you down easily. G-mel, attack!

- G-mel, who has his back to Sonic, just stands there. -

Eggman: G-mel?

G-mel: (to himself) *spark* Why can't I beat Sonic? Why? I must defeat Sonic!

- G-mel Chaos Controls above Sonic and slams him into the ground. Each of the seven Chaos Emeralds falls in front of Sonic, and G-mel lands next to them. A bright light comes out of him as he transforms into a giant cube-shaped robot. -

Eggman: Ooh yes! He's finally in his Super form. G-mel, attack Sonic while he's still down!

G-mel: (to Eggman) It was because of you I couldn't beat Sonic! Now that I have all the Chaos Emeralds, even you don't stand a chance against me!

- G-mel extends one of his arms, grabs Eggman, and throws him into the ground. Suddenly, the Chaos Emeralds appear and land near Sonic. -

G-mel: (to Sonic) Sonic, come fight me in outer space! Then we'll see who's the best in their Super form! (flies up into the sky)

Sonic: He still thinks he can kill me? He has yet to see the power of Super Sonic!

- All of the Chaos Emeralds start to revolve around Sonic. Within a few seconds, Super Sonic appears. -

Super Sonic: He can't survive against me now!

Eggman: (to Sonic) Wait!

Super Sonic: What?

Eggman: You'll need my help to defeat G-mel. I know more about him than you do, since I was the one who built him.

Super Sonic: How do I know you won't pull a fast one on me?

Eggman: You saw how G-mel betrayed me! He's probably deleted his master registration by now, so he won't listen to anyone but himself!

Super Sonic: I guess you're right. Come with me.

- Super Sonic uses the energy of the Chaos Emeralds to create a gold bubble around Eggman's ship. They both fly up into space so they can fight G-mel. Once they get there, G-mel gets into fighting position. -

G-mel: (to Super Sonic) Now is the moment of truth, Sonic! One of us will not come out of this alive, and it's not gonna be me!

Super Sonic: I beg to differ, G-mel!

Eggman: Super Sonic, throw me at G-mel! That'll leave him vulnerable to one of your attacks!

Super Sonic: If you say so!

- Super Sonic charges up an energy ball in his left hand, and he throws Eggman's ship at G-mel. A hatch opens, and Super Sonic fires his energy ball at the opening. This is enough to damage G-mel slightly. -

G-mel: Ow! Take this!

- G-mel's front four arms extend out and fire a large beam at Super Sonic and Eggman. They both get out of the way in time, but after the beams disappears G-mel extends all of his arms and starts spinning around. -

Eggman: Watch it!

- G-mel tilts his body so four of the arms are at the proper angle to hit Super Sonic. Super Sonic is still quick enough to dodge all of them, and during the attack he charges a much larger energy ball in his left hand. -

Super Sonic: Just a little longer and…

Eggman: Steady! Launch me again!

G-mel: Not so fast!

- G-mel, having noticed Super Sonic's plan, retracts all but one of his arms. He fires a smaller beam out of the last arm at Super Sonic. Super Sonic is caught off guard and becomes paralyzed, canceling his energy attack. -

G-mel: Now to finish you off!

Super Sonic: (recovers) Now what?

- G-mel extends his front four arms again, but this time they line up in a straight plane. Missile launchers slide out and into firing position. -

G-mel: Fire!

G-mel launches four missiles at Super Sonic, but they are too slow to match Super Sonic's speed.

Eggman: (to Super Sonic) Now would be the perfect time to attack! He's most vulnerable here!

Super Sonic: (grabs Eggman's ship) Charging up… (charges up Eggman and creates a much larger energy ball in his left hand) NOW!!

- Super Sonic fires the charged-up Eggman at G-mel, and the hatch opens again. He then launches the larger energy ball in his left hand at G-mel. This time, the force of his attack is strong enough to make G-mel start exploding. -

G-mel: What?! No! I can't lose! SONIC MUST NOT WIN!!

- G-mel's extended arms detach from his body, and he starts plummeting down through the atmosphere. -

Eggman: Yosh! Mission complete, Super Sonic! (noticing Super Sonic starting to look tired) Sonic?

Super Sonic: Running out of energy…must get through atmosphere… before I…(blacks out)

- Obviously, Sonic is able to get back down to Earth, although he becomes unconscious along the way. He wakes up near the Master Emerald altar not too much later. -

Sonic: (opens eyes slightly) Ugh…(opens eyes completely) Where am I?

Amy: (hugs Sonic, crying) Sonic! I'm so glad you're not dead!

Sonic: Amy! (places right hand on the back of Amy's head) It's okay. I'm fine now.

Cream: Are you still hurt, Sonic?

Sonic: Never better, now that G-mel's gone. Where's Tails?

Tails: Right here.

Sonic: (to Tails) What happened anyway?

Tails: From what I can see, you were starting to lose your Super form after G-mel entered the atmosphere. But you were able to hold onto it until you got past the ozone layer. That allowed me to save you from up there. However, Eggman got away again before I could find him.

Sonic: And the Master Emerald?

Tails: Knuckles got the Chaos Emeralds and brought them to the Master Emerald. He's already used them to restore the world to what it was before.

Sonic: Whew. Finally, the most intense adventure I've had yet is over. But now it's time to find a new one! (charges to spin dash) Here we go! (runs off)

Amy: Sonic, wait for me! (runs after Sonic)

Cream: (to Tails) Should we follow them?

Tails: Why not? We can't let them get hurt.

- Once Tails and Cream fly off after Sonic and Amy, Knuckles, who is standing behind the Master Emerald, takes a glance at the others leaving Angel Island. -
