Knuckles' Epilogue

After everybody is back on Earth

I went back to the task of protecting the Master Emerald on Angel Island. I was now quite glad that everything was normal. If the Master Emerald was in trouble again, it would be the friggin' third time!! It truly gets tiring after a bit. All is peaceful here, and I wondered aloud, "Is there any more trouble around? I guess that bat girl wasn't lying when she said she was giving up jewels," I sighed. I was glad that it was safe for the Master Emerald, but it was still boring. There was nothing to do, so I fell asleep.

When I woke up, it was quite dark. Groggily, I noticed that I had overslept. I was yawning when something came flying at me from behind. "Hey!" I yelled, rubbing my head where the object had hit. It only turned out to be one of those little creatures called Chao.

This Chao was blue, with a carefree grin on its face. It was flapping its tiny wings repeatedly, and was carrying a note. It had three spikes on the back of its head, also.

I smiled. "You remind me of a certain hedgehog that I know," I laughed to it. The Chao landed and bowed down, saying,"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" Well it was polite, though. Just then, it flew right past my face, dropping the note and heading away. "Yup,"

I groaned, "Just like that smug hedgehog…" I picked up the note that it dropped. The expression on my face changed. This invitation sure put a smile on my face!
