Ch 9: Message from the Emerald
Sonic, Michael and Shadow lay motionless on the ground, the victims of the wrath of Knuckles the echidna, who was still destroying Motople City, he had already injured many citizens and demolished many buildings. It seemed as though that nothing was going to stop Knuckles in his rage...until the one force that could stop him did...
"You no-good son-of-a-bitch!!!" Knuckles roared as he clobbered a citizen he had grabbed by the collar, knocking three of the guys teeth out in the process. Knuckles' rage was still very much alive and kicking inside of him, leaving little doubt that he would destroy the entire city if something didn't happen soon.
Knuckles looked around the city, seeing all the damage he had caused and laughed like a man on the edge. Suddenly, a sharp pain in the red echidna's chest brought him to his knees in a snap, Knuckles groaned in agony as he felt some unknown force tearing at his chest cavity, and his rage made him beat and tear at himself.
'Knuckles! Stop it, now!' A mysterious voice roared at the Guardien, halting Knuckles barrage on himself and snapping him back into reality almost instantly. 'It is I, the Master Emerald, I have seen your anger and frustration...I understand how much Julie-Su meant to you, Knuckles, but your anger and rage has gotten out of control! Look at the people you've hurt, the buildings you've destroyed and even your friends...' The Master Emerald spoke to Knuckles like a father, yet with the seriousness of a drill sargent.
Knuckles, for the first time since the rage got the best of him, felt remorse for everything he had done in Motople. "I...I can't...believe I did this..." Knuckles said through frustration, his anger turned at himself now for allowing himself to go overboard.
'Knuckles, don't fret, I will give some of my power to the others, so that they can awake from their rude slumber. Please, Knuckles, you are th only one who knows of what is happening to Amy right now! She is currently being held captive about 3500 miles from here, locked in a cell with three cloned life-forms: Sonic, Shadow and Michael.
"W-WHAT?!?! How can that be?!" Knuckles stated in disbelief at the Emerald revealing such a shocking statement.
'...It seems as though Eggman and a few of his friends have discovered how to clone living beings through their own DNA samples...a feat not yet known until this day...The clones are stronger then the origionals due to the enhancements Eggman and the other scientists installed prior to their creation.' The Emerald spoke to Knuckles in a worried tone.
"Doesn't matter! I'll take them out one by one!" Knuckles said with confidence as he was about to head off to where Amy was being held. Before he could get far, the Master Emerald stopped him in his tracks with a stern message.
'There's no way you can do this alone, Knuckles! You need the help of the three origionals to do this!! The SX, MX and SX2 are more powerful then anything you've ever encountered before, and their power is unmatched due to their exact nature of this power...' The Master Emerald stated, getting a nod from Knuckles as a sign that he understood what had to be done.
"But, what about Amy? We gotta stop those clones from having their way with her!" Knuckles said worridly.
'I'm afraid that will not be possible, Knuckles, for her situation is too bleak to even consider reaching her in time to stop them...you can stop them from killing her, but her current situation will inevitably happen...' The Emerald said remorsefully, knowing full-well that Amy was already being molested by the three clones...
"Oh, 'cum' on, baby! It don't hurt THAT much!" The SX2 said in a wicked voice, knowing full-well the pain he was causing toi Amy.
