That afternoon those bastards came. They came in looking for Shadow just like I predicted. They wanted more from him. One of them came in the room where I was hiding with my gun. I fired. The bullet hit exactly between the eyes. As I look at him deep in the eyes I see only darkness.

 

Unknown Man: “Where are you? You little bastard. If you don't show up soon I'll have to make it hurt more and make it longer for your friend. You don't want him to get hurt do you? Come on, stop playing around. I'll find you.”

 

I came out of the darkened hallway. My gun in my hand.

 

Sonic: “Don't fucking move!”

 

Unknown Man: “You've got some balls, but I bet you won't fire. I bet that gun isn't even loaded.”

 

I fired the gun hitting him in the leg.

 

Sonic: “Is that proof enough that this gun is loaded. You thought you could get away with this. Well, I'm sorry to say that you are going to end up dead. Your cold and lifeless body will never be found.”

 

Unknown Man: “My partner will take you down.”

 

Sonic: “Your partner is dead. You were both dead when you raped Shadow. I see the fear in your eyes.”

 

The asshole tried to move.

 

Sonic: “Don't move you degenerate son of a bitch.”

 

He kept moving, so I fired. One bullet killed him. I quickly shoved the bodies into garbage bags. I ran at super sonic speed to the pits and threw them into the tar pits where they will remain.

 

I ran back to Shadow. I went inside our bedroom to see if he was alright. I saw that he was safe. I started to clean up the blood around the hallway and in the living room. A couple hours later I managed to get everything cleaned up and fast.

 

It was getting late and Shadow was waiting for me to come to bed. I was in the shower washing off the blood that got on me. I got out and went to bed. I held Shadow close in my arms. I know that no one will hurt him again. I whispered into his ear.

 

Sonic: “Everything is alright. Nothing will happen to, not while I'm still alive. I love you Shadow the Hedgehog.”
