Shall I Call You Princess?
Part Four

Again Marron lifted himself to straddle Gateau's hips. His pants pulled at the blonde's skin as he settled himself, legs folded backwards, careful to avoid his lover's painful-looking erection. Gateau tried to move, pulling himself up by the headboard to get the contact he needed. He stopped suddenly as he saw what Marron had in his hand.

The dagger. Oh damn, that was not good.

"How much do you love me?"

Silence, pure silence. Marron leaned forward, Gateau felt warm breath against his lips. He wanted to pull away, to run to one of the dark corners close his eyes and try to figure all this out. There was no time.

"How much Gateau," Marron pulled back again. The dagger flashed, the red jewels burried in its hilt caught in the candlelight, sparkling. A pale hand suspended it over Gateau's tan chest, the point touching just enough to be a prick of sensation.

Gateau made some incoherent sound. Marron was obviously looking for an objection, looking for a reason not to proceed, but that was also a reason to doubt Gateau's love. The blond wouldn't have it. Closing his eyes, he turned his head to the left and willed the other to proceed quickly.

The dagger lifted; Gateau didn't move.

"Hold still," Marron ordered, quiet but sure.

Gently he brought the dagger up to Gateau's ear, placing a hand behind it. In an instant the sharp point had pierced the skin. The dagger clattered to the floor. The ungloved hand came to rest on Gateau's cheek, holding him in place as Marron leant forward to suck lightly on the wound he had made. The copper tang assaulted his mouth as he flicked his tongue over the new hole.

Setting up, he reached to his own right ear. There glittered something Gateau had missed in his earlier listing, a diamond earring, tiny and tasteful. Gateau still didn't see it, with his eyes closed and teeth clenched in waiting for whatever was to come. Releasing the back, Marron removed the earring and placed it into Gateau's ear; it made a tiny snap.

"What," Gateau managed, blue eyes opening cautiously.

"All the time you say it Gateau, you say 'you're mine Marron, mine'. Last year, when I got my ear pierced, you whispered it to me as we made love. I want to know, that you're mine too."

Realization had been slow in coming, but now it was clear and Gateau could honestly say he was sorry. He remembered saying those things, a lot.

"I am," he stated, wanting to reach up and wipe away tears that were not there, tears he wanted to be there. Marron shook his head, denying a simple end through words.

"Tonight," he swallowed hard, hoping Gateau didn't see his nervousness, "tonight I will take what is mine."

Notes: Sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist a chapter split here. Forgive, forgive, and review please! Hehe, I wanted to pierce Gateau's nipple instead of his ear but a friend told me that was not pleasant, sill, I'm tempted to make that revision. What do you kind readers think?
