It was a beautiful day in Surferio. The land of creatures such as fairies and menodixes. In one small home sat a quite upset menodix. "So thats where you've been this whole time?!"asked Dodger Huxley. "And you didnt even tell me?!" Roger nodded.


"Yep! I single handedly defeated Luther..........oh yeah...Fayt and Cliff helped a little."said Roger completely full of himself. Dodger crossed her arms.


"Lil Bro, thats kinda hard to believe."her menodix tail swished back and forth.


"What?! You dont believe me?! Come on, a real man like me could handle something 10 times stronger than that weakling, Luther."said Roger pressing his thumb into his chest with his head held up high. Dodger put her hands on her hips.


"Yes, but a real woman could handle something 20 times as strong."a grin spreaded across her face going to ear to ear. "And I still dont believe you."


"Okay, then how do you explain me being gone for so long?"he asked. Roger had his older sister on that one. Her grin soon disappeared.


".....................uh................."her tail came to a halt. "Um............"Now it was Roger's turn to grin.


"See! Now do you believe me?!"he asked.


"No fair! I want an adventure too!"she wailed. "Im tired of being cooped up here all the time."


"Well, Sis, you should do what I did. I rounded up a team of strong fighters I found in the Duggus Forest."


"According to your friends, you were caught and they saved you."responded his sister sitting in a chair. Roger paused.


"Yeah, well........THEY'RE A BUNCH OF LIARS!"he screamed.

"Im 16 years old...."said Dodger to herself as she sat on a rock in Sanmite Steppe polishing her 2 scythes. "It's about time I've gone out on a journey. Someone has to carry on the female part of the Huxley name." she stood up. "Okay, Im gonna go to Peterny! Maybe I'll find something there!"she pointed her finger out to the west. "To Peterny!"she cried.






Over in Airiglyph........the king had declared a special ball. It was to be held a month from now. He figured that'd be enough time for everyone to get ready. This was to make Airiglyph and Aquaria more friendly with each other. Fighting just wasnt worth it. The peasants from both countries lived in fear and were losing too many soldiers. He had ordered one of his men to deliver this letter to the Queen of Aquios..................Albel, who didnt like this idea at all and still thought of them as "Aquarian scum". But he had to follow out the king's orders whether he liked it or not. The last guy who disobeyed the king was severly punished. But no matter what, Albel had always been a loyal soldier to the king and the best of the black dragon brigade soldiers.


"Bah...."said the soldier as he snatched the reigns of his air dragon. The thought of him might actually having to dance with an Aquarian woman made his hairs stand up. Albel shuddered. He carefully shoved the letter in his breast armor. He had no pockets.....He hoisted himself onto the dragon's saddles then tugged on the reigns. The mighty beast roared, spreaded its wings and took off.
