That night, Albel sat at the bar table. There was a bar right in Airiglyph that was very popular amongst the soldiers. "So Albel, hows it going training that girl?"asked the soldier sitting on the bar stool next to him. The soldier trembled with anger. The very thought or mention of Dodger made him mad.

"I dont want to talk about it. It gives me a migrane."he said agitated. He chugged some of his beverage.

"Aww...come on! Am I really that bad?"asked a familiar voice. Albel did a spit take and was completely shocked to see the menodix sitting on the bar stool on his other side.

"What are you doing here?!"questioned Albel in an authoric tone. Dodger blinked.

"Uh....Im here to chill just like the rest of the other Airiglyph soldiers here are doing. Duh!"she rolled her eyes. "Hey bartender!"she called banging on the bar table to get his attention. "Can I get a grape juice over here, please?"

"Coming right up."responded the bar tender. This drink didnt take him too long at all to retrieve because it was non-alcoholic. He set the wooden mug in front of her which was filled with a dark purple liquid. "That'd be 100 Fol, please."

"100 Fol? No prob!"she kindly paid the bartender. "Keep the change."Albel corrected Dodger's explanation.

"The keyword is 'Airiglyph soldiers' not Airiglyph soldiers in training."

"Lighten up!"said Dodger before chugging down some of her drink.

"Yeah, Albel."started a drunk soldier. "Let her stay. She aint bothering nobody. She be kinda cute."

"Mind your own business!"ordered Albel.

"Hey! You be nice!"shouted Dodger. "Why you so mean?"

"Silnence, worm!"

"See?! Thats EXACTLY what Im talking about! You're not very nice. You better watch it. You're screwed if I ever end up getting a higher ranking than you."

"What?"

"You heard me! Im gonna make it to the top!"

"You dont believe me?"she jumped onto the bar table. It's show time!"she pulled a small unknown device out from her armor and set it on the bar table next to her. It unfolded into a larger device with speakers.

"What on earth is that thing?"asked Albel.

"Some cool thingy my brother got from some guy named Fayt."she answered. Albel rolled his eyes remembering the blue haired little punk.

~~~~~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~~~
"Here sis, since you like to sing so much, you can have this."said Roger handing her the small device.
"What is it?"she asked examining it. "It's so small."
"Fayt gave it to me as a gift from his planet. He says it holds lots of music. If you set on the ground it opens up and gets bigger and you can choose a song to play. He says there's like 5,000 songs on it. All made on planet Earth.(ooooh! so in the future we have...a small device that unfolds in a boom box like thing that holds music for you! Whoo! No more scratching around for CDs!)"
"Sweet."she shoved it into her armor.
~~~~~~~~~~~End of Flashback~~~~~~~~~

"Alright! It's time for some entertainment people!"announced Dodger all across the bar. Everyone's attention turned to the menodix standing on the bar table. Albel had absolutely no clue what she was about to do. She pushed a button on the boom box like thing. Instantly the entire building was filled up with music. A song that no one in Elicoor has ever heard. Being that all the songs were made on Earth. Dodger had to listen to them over and over again to learn all the words. Now she began to sing.

Baby look at meAnd tell me what you see You ain't seen the best of me yet Give me time I'll make you forget the rest
I got more in me And you can set it free I can catch the moon in my hands Don't you know who I am Remember my name Fame I'm gonna live forever I'm gonna learn how to fly High I feel it coming together People will see me and cry Fame I'm gonna make it to heaven Light up the sky like a flame Fame I'm gonna live forever Baby remember my name

By now, Albel was banging his head against the bar table as everyone else was cheering as Dodger continued to sing the song 'Fame'. The drunks were all dancing about. He was starting to think that having to train Dodger was a punishment for something he must of done in the past. He rested his head on the bar table. "Why me?"he said under his breath. "Why do I have to suffer?". He tried to think of someone to blame. "Blade." he decided to blame his pet air dragon. If the dragon had stayed put in the first place, Albel wouldnt hvae even met Dodger. She was almost annoying as her little brother. Who he didnt like very much either. He cut this thoughts short when he noticed something. His foot was tapping to the beat of the music. He quickly stopped and let out a fustrated sigh. By now Dodger was finished singing. The whole building was in uproar and shook with the crowd's cheering. Some people even threw money up on the bar table on which the menodix stood. Dodger gave a bow.

"Thank you so much!"she started blowing kisses. "Thank you! I love you! I love you! Thank you!"she jumped back down onto the bar stool. "That was fun!"she said to Albel. Albel still had his head rested on the bar table. "Hey whats wrong? You need a drink?"she turned to the bartender. "Hey bartender! Can I get another grape juice please?"she asked.

"Say no more."he had already had it ready for her. "This one's on the house."he set it in front of her.

"Wow! Thanks!"she picked up the mug and gestured it to the back of Albel's head which was still laying on the bar table. "Want some?"she offered. Albel lifted his head and looked at her. He studied the drink she was holding at him.

"What did you do to it, maggot?"he questioned eyeing it suspiciously. Dodger rolled her eyes.

"Nothing! Im just trying to be nice is all."she answered. "You know, this grape juice is much healthier for you than alcohol."

"Im not thirsty."Dodger lowered the drink. She set it back on the table.

"Oh..alright."she jumped off the stool. "Well, I should be heading back to the castle now. Need to get some rest for tomorrow's training. Good night."she then took her exit from the bar.

"Finally, she's gone."said Albel aloud. He noticed her grape juice sitting on the bar table untouched. He stared at it for a while. Finally, he hesitantly picked up the mug and drank some.
