School from that point was not the same; Jin no longer rode home with her and they were no longer friends. This was upsetting for Xiaoyu, after all she most likely loved Jin and as more than just a friend; but he’d never know that now. Dinner was something for the record books; the way he ignored her, even the old man thought twice.

Not knowing what to do; a couple of weeks ago she begun seeing Hwoarang. He was a good friend and she couldn’t help but like kissing him; but he was no Jin in any way shape and definitely not in the form. Realizing these feeling for Jin were not going away and he wasn’t making an effort to talk to her; ‘I need to talk to Jin today!’

After school this day she ran from class thru the halls, in an attempt to catch Jin. But when she opened the door; it was too late. He was already gone; ‘Dang it’ Xiaoyu said upset that she missed him. Then it hit her; what would she say to Jin? I’m sorry I took off on you that day; it’s because I’ve been hot for you since I met you. And since I can’t have you…? It didn’t even make a lot of sense to her. Especially if he accepted her love; how would she give it to him, being with another guy in all? With this realization she kicked a nearby plant pulling it from its roots; ‘Woo… strong plant!’ Shaking her head when she saw Hwoarang driving into the school grounds; she wanted to see Jin.

Hwoarang had never taken her home to her or his place. Every time he asked she would decline; even thou walking to the mansion was far from any mall, she wasn’t going to let him get anywhere close to Jin. “What are you doing here” Xiaoyu asked? He smiled “I wanted to see you… is that okay?” She attempted a small fight to keep from a smile; “That’s sweet, but actually I have to go straight home right now.” “Let me give you a ride home… I mean how long are you planning on keeping the secret?” “What secret” she asked? “That you live with Jin Kazama” Hwoarang informed her? Her smile faded looking at him; “Why do you know that?” “I know Jin Kazama….” “How do you know Jin Kazama” Xiaoyu demanded? “I don’t like him Xiaoyu…” Hwoarang yelled “Do you have something for Kazama?

Xiaoyu looked away, wanting to kick him in the face; “Never mind!” Walking past him to her ride that was waiting; without looking at him she closed the door. Never had she been so thankful for the sound proof windows on Hibachi limos; he was always thinking ahead. Screaming at the top of her lungs; she wanted to tell him, yes I have a thing for Jin, and yes I have a small thing for you too. But who the hell gives you the right to do some checking up on me!

Looking out the window she missed Jin; more than she thought she did. Looking at her watch, wondering what time Jin was going to go out for his nightly stroll. Every night she would follow him; he always looked so sad, so many things on his mind. She always wished and hoped not at the same time that it was her on his mind; even when she was closed to Hwoarang she wanted to be near Jin.

Arriving at the mansion, she didn’t go to her bedroom; instead she walked to Jin’s side of the mansion. She wanted to see him; hoping that maybe he would see her and call for her. Stepping in front of his door, bringing her hand up to knock; when the reality of her disrespect hit her in the face. Sighing and dropping her hand; ‘Just face it Xiaoyu… it’s over… no matter what you say to Jin….” Shaking her head looking at the ground; she made her way to her side of the mansion.

Sitting in all black on the balcony waiting for Jin to leave his room; just because there was no chance for her and Jin, didn’t mean she was going to stop following him. These nightly strolls with Jin filled her soul, kept her able to go on the next day. ‘Ah’ she said as he jumped from the balcony and began walking.

Smiling Xiaoyu jumped down as well and began her follow; Jin looked expectantly good tonight. Hands at his side with his hood over his head; he walked slowly… almost as if he was waiting for her to catch up with him? Dropping to the ground when she heard something hit the tree next to her. Head snapping facing the tree, she could see the broken branch; remembering Jin, Xiaoyu jumped up but didn’t see him. ‘Dang it’ she thought as she attempted to run softly forward to catch up.

Feeling someone’s hand over her mouth, her feet left the ground and her back hit the ground. Glancing side to side and forward to see Jin resting on top of her. “Why are you following me” he asked with his seductive silky voice? His hand still over her mouth; her eyes were wide and attentive; all she could do was shake her head.

Something changed; he was so close and he didn’t hold hatred for her in his eyes. His eyes held hers; it didn’t matter she didn’t want to look away. Removing his hand from her mouth; all Xiaoyu could do was breath heavily while glancing between his lips and eyes. Even thou Jin was muscular, she didn’t feel any weight on her; in fact she couldn’t think at all. All she knew was Jin was lying on top of her and she didn’t want him to move… at all! “Jin” escaped her lips; he lowered his head as he closed his eyes, his lips touched hers so softly.

All of Xiaoyu’s inside’s began screaming; feeling his head tilt and mouth open, Xiaoyu was more than happy to accept his tongue. She could feel him breathe life into her as they kissed; his kiss tasted so good. She drug her arms from underneath him and attached them to his face; Jin drove his kiss deeper into her mouth. A soft moan slipped from her lips; he must have enjoyed it, because his hands held her head up pushing her deeper into him.

Feeling Jin pull himself a hair from her his hands left her head; one making its way down her face to her breast, while the other held him up. Another moan from her lips; she’d never been touched, but she wanted Jin to be the first. Her hands moved to his chest; there was so much to feel and enjoy. Xiaoyu had seen him so many times without his shirt; and her hands never stopped itching to touch him. Just as his hand was about to touch her excited lowers; they heard her name being called “Miss. Xiaoyu… Miss Xiaoyu…. Master Heihachi is requesting your presences!”

Jin pulled away from the kiss; this upset Xiaoyu to no end; he stood up while helping her stand. “You better go” he said. Still off balance from him kiss; she wanted to say something but what? She just got finished making out with the most handsome boy in this whole wide world! And if that stupid handmaid hadn’t been calling her she wouldn’t have stopped. He smiled at her; “Go Xiaoyu, you don’t want to get in trouble.” “I want…” she began until the handmaid say her. “Miss Xiaoyu come quickly! Master Heihachi is yelling and screaming!” Turning to the handmaid confused “Why?” “A young man name Hwoarang came to see you! Come quickly!”

Turning to look at Jin, but he was already gone; sighing ‘Dang it!’ Following the handmaid Xiaoyu tried to make herself ready for whatever Heihachi was going to throw at her.

Unable to sit down this night; she walked away the bedroom with a smile, while her hands traced where he touched her. ‘It was like magic’ she gushed to herself; never had she felt so pretty! All the old man’s words did nothing to what was really going on her in mind; ‘You want to me to break up with Hwoarang… sure okay done’ she giggled! Knowing it was going to take her a lot to sleep tonight.

Xiaoyu woke up early the next morning; getting dressed for school and walking down the stairs early. To her surprised Jin had already left; rolling her eyes with a smile. It didn’t matter she was still so high from his kiss and touch. Leaving the mansion right away, all she wanted to do was see Jin and kissing him again wouldn’t be bad either.

Arriving at school and immediately walking thru the halls to get to class; first period had Jin in it! Seeing him in the hall with 2 girls attached to his arms was not what she wanted to see; but the way he passed without looking at her was worse. The high feeling instantly deflated; she turned to look at him, but he didn’t turn. Holding in tears, she walked directly into her class.

Jin sat just a few feet away from her, and he didn’t look in her general direction once. ‘Okay so what happen to last night? I feel so used and dirty… he doesn’t like me at all.’ This sadness filled her full day; not even Miharu could shed a ray of light in her sadness. Suddenly wishing Hwoarang was there to comfort her; she hoped she see him after school. In the darkness of her current state of mind, it didn’t matter what the old man wanted from her. Jin didn’t want her and she wanted to be wanted by someone.

Walking out of school to meet her ride; she was happy to see Hwoarang there. Even thou she still wished it was Jin, she was going to take someone she knew liked her. Running out to where he was parked on his motorcycle waiting for her; “Xiaoyu!” She stopped in front of him with a smile; “Hwoarang I’m so glad you’re here!” “Come on let’s get out of here!” Nodding her head; she jumped on the back of his motorcycle and wrapped her arms around his waist. As he stood and started the bike; Xiaoyu turned to see Jin looking at her. Looking back at him thinking; ‘What you think you can use me? I’m not one of the slut’s in this school! If you screw me… Jin Kazama, I’ll screw you;’ turning around as she and Hwoarang drove off.

After some much needed time in the arcade, Xiaoyu and Hwoarang sat in the parking lot. He leaned against the motorcycle seat while Xiaoyu stood in front of him. His hands were on the small of her back; her body tingled, but it was not because of Hwoarang’s touch. Xiaoyu remembered Jin’s touch and being this close to any guy would have brought this reaction. Standing close to Hwoarang was nice; running her hand thru his hair as they kissed. The kiss became intense; her mind replayed the evening with Jin. Pulling his head closer; making him kiss her deeper.
Finally he pulled away kissing on her neck and whispering in her ear; “Do you want to come to my place? I promise you won’t regret it.” The mood suddenly changed for her; pulling from his arms; “No… I’m not ready for that.” “Oh” Hwoarang said confused “I thought you were… by that kiss.” Xiaoyu cut him off “No I’m not ready for sex Hwoarang! You know what… just forget it!”

This walking home was getting old; the arcade was a really long way from the mansion. And the old man was going to have you head on a silver platter; and for what? Rolling her eyes and looking up at the night sky as rain began pouring down from it. ‘Okay’ she yelled at the sky ‘I get it!’

Finally arriving at the mansion, the handmaids followed her to the bedroom drying the floor. Finally closing the door her legs gave out; dropping to the ground she wanted to cry. But Xiaoyu wasn’t sure why she would be crying, because Jin didn’t want her or because she wanted him. There was nothing she could do and with no will or energy left; Xiaoyu smiled ‘At least I’ll see Jin tomorrow in the dojo…’ with that she fell asleep.

Xiaoyu woke up light headed on dry; still wearing her same school uniform she stumbled to get up. A knock on the door brought back focus of what time she needed to be at the dojo. ‘No time for a shower’ she said as she ran to the closet and changed into her sparing uniform. Out of her bedroom, down the stairs, out the back door, onto the path that lead to the dojo; opening the dojo door there stood Jin. His eyes were closed in mediation; he was so close and yet so very far away.

Her focus was broken upon hearing Heihachi’s voice; “Miss Ling… it’s about time you arrived!” Walking past Jin and bowing to Heihachi; “Please forgive.” “Spar… Jin, Xiaoyu!” Xiaoyu looked at Jin, just opening his eyes; remembering his hazel eyes so close made her knees weak. Assuming the positions, she knew she wasn’t going to win this one; Jin was not only stronger than her, she believed his skills out did her own. Unable to see a kink in his armor; the only she could do was try to survive on her speed and hopefully if she hit him enough he’d pretend to go down.

Moving in a way that would make her hard to catch; Xiaoyu was surprised when Jin caught her leg on a roll over and yanked her to the ground. At that same time her eyes expressed the fear she held seeing Jin’s huge fist less than inches from her face; not wanting to get any bruises, Xiaoyu accepted defeat. Bowing her head to Jin, while the old man laughed in the back ground of her looking into Jin’s cold eyes.
