Tokyo Mew Mew Fan Fiction ❯ Freedom fighters ❯ Chapter 13
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Recently I’ve watched Tokyo Mew Mew in Japanese, so I know more now. If anyone would like, I’ll switch it to the Japanese names. If more people review asking for Japanese names instead of English, I’ll switch. Other wise, on with the fic! I don’t know how to spell Wesley’s Japanese name so if I do change it his name will remain the same. Thanks for reading; enjoy.

Chapter 13
“Corina! Bridget!” Cried Kiki. She jumped abut on the mattress trying to wake the two. Bridget was the first to wake. “What’s the matter Kiki?” she asked.
“Zoey and Renee are gone!” Kiki cried. Corina was up in a moment. “Onee-sama is missing?!” Corina asked. (That was one of the things I’ve just found out; I’ll stop “Talking” now) Kiki nodded. “We need to find them,” said Bridget. The three girls got to their feet, and left out the door. There room was at the end of the hall. They worked their way down the hall, and looked about the rooms. They tried not to disturb the other Mews of the building. Corina came to the last door on the left. The door suddenly came flying at her. It barely missed hitting her. Out walked the mew that had kidnapped her. “YOU!” Corina hissed.
“Why if it isn’t the little city flyer,” greeted Great wing in a whisper.
“You were the one who kidnapped me!” she yelled at him.
“Shh,” Great wing hissed as he covered Corina’s mouth. He dragged Corina over to the slightly opened door across from Great wing’s room. “Frost fur just got her litter to go to sleep. She herself is sleeping,” he whispered in Corina’s ear. Corina could see the young women asleep on her bed with her children curled up next to her; she looked exhausted. Corina felt sorry for almost waking her. Corina also noticed Night pelt in a near by corner.
Great wing let go of Corina’s mouth. “Corina,” called Bridget. She had seen what Great wing had done, and she and Kiki were ready to fight him off if he tried anything. “Shh,” both Corina and Great wing hissed. Kiki and Bridget didn’t say a word. “I bet you guys are looking for your friends,” whispered Great wing. The three girls nodded. Great wing waved his hand for them to follow. He walked up the stairs.
Eventually the small group reached the top level. The floor was torn and beaten up to the point one wrong step could be quiet the disaster. “Your friends are with Fang; Last door to the left,” said Great wing. He flapped his large wings and was in front of Fang’s door in a heartbeat. “Show off,” hissed Corina.
“I can hear you from here,” teased Great wing. The three girls didn’t say anything. One at a time, they made their way over the old floor. Kiki was first, being that she was the smallest; then Corina who flew. Lastly Bridget cautiously made her way across. No one feel through. Great wing had a large smile on his face.
“What are you smiling about?” snapped Corina. Great wing looked ready to laugh. “It’s not real,” he answered.
“What’s no real?” asked Kiki.
“The floor, it’s actually as sturdy as stone,” he teased. “Fang put an allusion on it.” The three girls felt some what frustrated they had been tricked. “Come on, they’re in here,” he finished. The four Mews entered the room. “Hey guys,” called Zoey. Renee waved a small hello. Kiki raced over to them. She took a turn to hug them both, and say how worried she was when she woke and found them missing. On the couch, Fang and Great Main waited patently for the girls to fully re-unit. Especially after Zoey had been missing. After their re-union they settled into seats to speak with Fang.
“So what did we miss?” asked Kiki. She was next to Zoey as though Zoey was about to vanish any second now. “Your friends were just telling me of your journey among humans,” answered Great Main.
“It’s fairly amazing that Mews as different as you live in harmony,” commented Fang. Now the other Mews are confused. “Dream paw and, Renee was it, would be of the Claw clan; Land carnivores. The little Tamerian is of Herb Clan; Land herbivores. The young lorikeet would be part of Sky Clan; the winged Mews. And the porpoise would be of Sea Clan; the water Mews,” Fang explained. “Not always do these Clans agree with each other. Herb Clan fears Claw Clan because they accuse Claw Clan of mistaking Herb Clan Mews for prey. Actually Claw clan is feared by Sky clan as well for the same reason. Sky Clan and Herb clan are in a battle over territory. They argue that Sky clan is taking food and shelter from Herb Clan. They say Sky Clan should remain in the sky. Then there is fighting with in the Clans themselves. The only one at peace is Sea clan, but for how long? Yet you girls go against the fact you’re of different Clans, and work together. I’ve heard of your arguments, but they are nothing compared to those of the Clans. You don‘t fear each other. You’ve become sisters.”
“I can’t believe their so much trouble,” said Bridget sadly. “But if perhaps you put aside the separation of Clans, and have rules where mews work together and are equal, that may change.”
“What makes you so sure that would work?” asked Fang.
“Well a while back colour people were considered outsiders from white,” Bridget explained. “But then peace was brought, and now there are even colours and white marrying one another. There would be problems here and there, but it’s nothing like it uses to be.” Fang smiled to herself. “You seem very smart, and bright,” she complemented. Bridget began to blush. “Very well, I’ll take your word for it,” Fang added. “Solving such an old problem so simply. Saving Mew kind should be a breeze for you.”
There was a sudden knock at the window. Fang and Great main were on their feet in moments. They were ready to fight if the new comer was trouble. “Mistress Fang,” called a small masculine voice.
“Ah, Small ear, you’ve returned,” greeted Fang. She and Great main relaxed. In through the window hole came five mews. Three looked like they were mice. One of the last two was a tiger, the other a porpoise like Bridget. For a moment He stopped and looked at Bridget. He gave her a small smile before the tiger grabbed him by his hair and pulled him before Fang. “What news does your patrol bring?” asked Fang.
“We heard of a human being locked away in the human cages,” answered the first mouse. His ears were some what smaller than the others. “Why would such a thing be of use to us?” asked Fang. She jumped into her chair, and looked at the five Mews. “It’s the human’s name my lady,” answered the second mouse. “Mr. Elliot Grant.” Fang’s eyes grew a spark of wonder. “THE Elliot Grant?” she asked. “The son of Professor Grant?”
“Yes Fang,” answered the porpoise. The city mews became upset. Why had Elliot been sent to jail?
“What is his crime?” asked Fang. She didn’t sound too interested, but her features betrayed her. The tiger stepped forward. “For raising the city mews,” she answered.
“Is she saying it’s our fault Elliot is in jail?” asked Bridget. Before the other mews could answer the third mouse spoke. “He was fighting for mew kind. However they believed mews are dangerous. Humans now have the right to kill our kind on sight till none remain.”
“So humans want a war do they?” Fang spat. “Great wing!” The called Mew entered the doorway. “Gather our warriors and a handful of apprentices,” Fang ordered. “We need to free the last of our kind before this killing spry hits them.”
“Yes Fang,” nodded Great wing. Then he took off down the hall. “Mistress Fang, there’s one more thing,” called the porpoise.
“Yes Scare fin?” asked Fang.
“The leader to this war…” Scare fin began. “It’s Shyam.” Fang let out a great roar of frustration. “I knew he was up to no good,” she hissed. “We fell right into his hands.” Fang turned to the city mews. “You five are coming,” she ordered. “With luck we’ll find Shyam.”
“You expect us to attack humans?” asked Zoey. Fang glared at her, and transformed to her mew self. Next moment Fang had Zoey in the air by her neck. “You best decide where your loyalties lay very quickly, Dream paw,” Fang hissed. “I don’t care if you the mew of the prophecy. I will personally kill you if you stand in the way.” Then Fang dropped Zoey, and turned her attention to the other four. She glared at them. Warriors and apprentices were entering the door way. Fang looked over her army; then returned to the city mews. “Scare fin, I want you to keep an eye of Bright heart,” Fang began with her orders.
“Which would that be Fang?” asked the porpoise. Fang pointed at Bridget. Scare fin nodded, and walked over to stand behind Bridget. Bridget was beyond uncomfortable. “Fire star, I’m assigning you to this one,” Fang hissed. She pointed at Renee.
The wolf leader came forth. He stood in front of Renee. Renee gave Fire star a look of pure hatred. “Oh joy, it’s you,” she muttered under her breath. Fire star leaned in to whisper in Renee’s ear. As he spoke Renee’s tail shot up with terror; her fur prickling. Fire star backed away and moved to stand behind Renee. Renee’s fur calmed and she clenched her fist.
“Leaf tail, do you think you can take on a second apprentice?” Fang asked. A older tamarin came out of the crowd. She was followed by another tamarin. “I most certainly can,” she answered.
“Good,” Fang answered. She grabbed Kiki and shoved her toward Leaf tail. “She’s yours to look after. Swift wind, you’re assigned Dream paw. Great wing, you’re to watch this last one. All who are assigned a City mew is to not let them out of your site.”
Fang jumped up to the back of her chair. She had transformed to her lioness form once again. “Clan Warriors listen well,” she commanded. “Shyam is no friend of ours. He has turned humans to kill our kind. We must hurry and free our caged brothers and sisters. This is the beginning of our long awaited revenge.” Fang’s warriors began to chant. Loud animal noise broke out in a blood thirsty rage. “Together we shall stand up. Now we are to free our brothers and sisters. Soon, with their help, Tokyo will be ours. Then Japan, and then Mews shall rule Earth!” Cries of battle echoed louder as Fang spoke. “Anyone who finds Shyam, bring him to me, ALIVE!” Fang ordered. “I want to be the one to recon with that two faced liar. Mew Mews, GO!”
