BLACKMAIL

X-brawn only dares to move after a few seconds, only after the tunnels had fallen silent, the walls silently telling each other about the fight, because walls hear all and are never silent...

The strongest Autobot Brother leans against the metal platings, gasping as he tries to cool his systems, the fight replaying in his mind over and over again, "my brother, how could you have done such a thing?" he whispers, hearing an engine coming closer and after seconds, Prowl zooms past him, braking and reversing, "X-brawn, what are you doing here, I thought that by now, you were already out of the spacebridge" he says.

"Prowl..." X-brawn whispers, the Police-car transforms and gasps as X-brawn walks towards him, embracing him carefully, "X-brawn...What?" Prowl stammers, not knowing that at that same moment, X-brawn is being torn apart by his spark-bound with Sideburn, and his conscious demanding him to tell the truth, "Prowl... I... know who attacked Koji..." he whispers softly, voice staggering, "but, I cannot tell you" he concludes.

"What?! X-brawn, if you know who is responsible for Koji's injuries, you are obliged to inform Optimus with that information!" X-brawn grimaces, typical Prowl; always obedient to the law, even if that would mean to betray his brother, but... X-brawn frowns, he had forsaken Sideburn, and, how hard it is for him, he had no other choice, "Prowl, go where you were planning to go, and forget about this" X-brawn turns and transforms, leaving into the direction of the HQ, Prowl watching him leave, shaking his head, "I can't force you, but for Koji's sake..." he too transforms and continues on his way.

Optimus watches T-ai bringing the views of various power plants on the screens like he had ordered her too, until X-brawns face appears on one of the monitors, "Optimus Prime" Optimus frowns, X-brawn only used his full name in emergencies, "could I have a talk with you, in private?" he frowns even more as the SUV makes his request, "please, it is very important" Optimus nods, getting the location where X-brawn would like to meet him, "I'll meet you there" he says, giving T-ai some last instructions as he leaves.

"Alright X-brawn, what did you want to tell me, and why in private?" Optimus crosses his arms as they stand before each other; he still wonders why X-brawn chose this location, the edge of a forest, by a cliff down to the ocean.

"Optimus, I'd rather not tell you this, mainly since I refuse to take it as reality" Optimus frowns at X-brawns nervosity, "tell me what?"

"I... I know... about Koji.... who attacked him" the Autobot leader suddenly startles, "you, you know? Then, tell me!" he orders, suddenly meeting X-brawns tear-filled eyes, "please..... It is Sideburn, he attacked Koji, and me as well... the Predacons weren't the ones who damaged me" X-brawn sees Optimus gasping, the SUV sinking on the ground, "he, I found him in the park, I talked him into coming back to base, I thought he blamed himself, but when I turned around to leave, Sideburn attacked me from behind, tearing me to the ground and keeping me there with an almost impossible force, he... he had bitten me in the neck, draining my mech-fluid but the strange part is.... there are no marks, and my back-ups show no signs of repairs to neck" Optimus slowly helps the older autobot brother up to his feet, "let's go back to base" he suggests, getting stopped by X-brawn, "what are you going to do?" he asks fearfully, "he might be angry...., I.... I told him, that I no longer recognize him as my brother..." Optimus widens his eyes, "X-brawn... you *do* realize that that is the most heaviest punishment by brother bound?" X-brawn nods, knowing that all too well.

Optimus sighs, "let's go back" he repeats, "Koji is coming back from the hospital, they will visit the base soon".

X-brawn winches, not quite sure what will happen, but, it was now in Prime's hands, and X-brawn trusted him with that.

(2 hours later)

"Koji! Welcome back!" T-ai greets the brown-haired boy as his father pushes the wheelchair into the control room, all the Autobots were specially assembled for the boy's return and were making approving remarks of his recovery.

"Hi guys, it's good to see you again!" Koji responds, his face had grown a tired look from the heavy medications and from laying in the hospital, but nonetheless, the boy looks at them with a soft smile, "I sure missed you all... hey...where's Sideburn?" he asks, seeing the Dodge Viper on the other end of the room, "hey Sideburn!" he calls out, seeing the blue transformer walking up to him.

Optimus grimaces behind his mask, ready to interfere if Sideburn makes any suspicious moves, he had decided not to tell the truth to the others, to avoid any fights. He watches silently how Sideburn lowers himself and manages to pry a convincing smile on his face, "I am glad you are better Koji" he tries to make the words come out meant, but X-brawn and Optimus still catch the underline in it as Sideburn lays a hand on the boys head and stands up, walking towards the exit, meeting X-brawn's eyes on the way, never letting them go as he walks past.

"Hey, Sideburn?" Koji frowns, watching his friend leave, confused about the passive reaction the bot had on him, and the tension between the blue and the green bot didn't went unnoticed too... he turns to Optimus, "what's up with Sideburn?" he asks.

"Sideburn is... a bit moody today..." Optimus lies, seeing that Koji believes him and happily goes around chatting with the other Autobots, getting asked many questions but he's glad by the distraction and answers them all.

"Optimus..." X-brawn whispers, walking up to the fire engine, "I have decided not to tell Koji the truth, he would be too shocked, as for the other Autobots... I don't want them to try anything in Sideburn's vicinity... we don't know what he is capable of" Optimus sighs, he spend last night reading articles, and he felt a large weight on his fluid-pump as he linked the articles with that what X-brawn had told him...

(One day later)

"This time, you are too late, Prime" Galvatron smirks, a large box filled with energy being held by Mega-Octane, "Decepticons, Combine and prepare for combat!"

"Yes sir!" the decepticons obey as they form Ruination, being followed by Team bullet train, locking themselves in a heavy battle.

"We are never too late to stop you, Galvatron!" Optimus responds as he starts battling the Predacons, being aided by Prowl and X-brawn, Sideburn had never reported in after he left yesterday.

Scourge smirks, taking Hotshot and Rev down, the other spychangers quickly helping their team members and opening return-fire.

Galvatron changes into his dragon mode and opens fire upon Prowl and X-brawn, grinning with pleasure as the two Car brothers yell from pain but he stops his attack as Darkscream lets an ear-piercing scream out, making all attention turn towards the Predacon...

X-brawn didn't even felt surprised as he saw Sideburn walking onto the battlefield, going straight for Darkscream who stumbles backwards in fear and shock.

"No, no! I gave you enough!! Why do you want more from me?! I cannot give you more!" Darkscream whimpers as Sideburn grabs him by the neck and lifts him up, looking into the pleading eyes with lust, "oh, but I'm willing to trade..." the Viper smirks as Darkscream doesn't get the drill, "tell them" he whispers into the squirrel-bot's audio receivers as he turns Darkscream to face the other transformers, "tell them that I will let you go... in exchange for the mechfluid of one of the others" he growls softly, "tell them!" he orders.

Darkscream closes his eyes, shuddering from fear, opening them again to look at his brothers, "Darkscream! What does he want?!" Slapper yells, not daring to take a step in their direction in fear that Sideburn might do something to his brother.

"Tell them!"

"He, he says.... that he will let me go..... if..." Darkscream gasps, sweating from fear, hearing Sideburn enjoying the smell emitting from him, increasing the Predacon's fear ratio.

"If WHAT?" Gas-Skunk glares daggers at the blue Autobot, "if one of you takes my place!!!" Darkscream spits out the words, crying as he pleads Sideburn to let him go.

"Take your place?? What???" Scourge repeats confused, gasping as Sideburn's face changes, and the Car brother licks down the side of Darkscream's face, looking back at them, "well? I'm getting impatient, who's going to take his place? Or would you rather see me drain the last of his precious mechfluid, believe me, he has nearly not enough for himself, if I feed on him now... he will never see the sun again..." Sideburn laughs softly, seeing Sky-byte widening his eyes, "you're...you're a Child of the Third Gate!!!" the TM2 shark stammers.

"B-I-N-G-O, bingo, guppy" Sideburn smirks, "and btw, you're time is running short, choose now!" he says, flicking one of his eyeteeth past Darkscream's neck, grinning devilish as the Predacon winches.

"We must do something, before he actually uses Darkscream as a meal!" Sky-byte whispers, seeing Gas Skunk stepping forward, "re.. Release him Sideburn!" he calls out, "I will take his place!" Sideburn smiles, immediately letting go of Darkscream, watching the Predacon run towards his comrades, "now, do you honor your word, Gas Skunk?" he extends one of his arms, "come to me"

"No!" Galvatron responds as he opens fire on the Dodge Viper, joined by the other Predacons and Decepticons, dust clouding the air but when it settles, four blood red eyes lock onto the attackers, and the blue dragon/demon leaps at the Decepticon leader, slamming him on his back on the ground.

"Now, I shall feast on your Mechfluid..." Sideburn curses as he wipes the Decepticons, Autobots and Predacons off their feet with his spiked tail, biting into Galvatron's neck, claiming the Decepticon leader with force...
