"Vash, why don't you just kill me?" Legato's eyes stared into the soul of none other that Vash, Vash The Stamped.

"Let her go!!!" Vash was of course speaking of Meryl whom was bound at the wrists and ankles. Meryl's eyes weren't filled with fear but with understanding while see looked at Legato.

"What do you want, brother (gasp from vash)?" Meryl said while looking strait at Legato, the man who was in fact her brother.

"Funny you should ask." Legato toke a step toward Meryl and held out his hand. "I want you to show this man what you truly are!" With that statement his fingers stretched apart and an ere glow surrounded Meryl, her head tilted toward the sky as she let out an ear piercing scream. Black wings grew from her back and her body fell toward the floor, unconscious but barley alive.

Vash: wait. Meryl! Are you okay.

Meryl: (puts away wings) That really hurt.

Vash: (hugs Meryl) I know. I'm sorry you had to do that. (kisses Meryl)
