Vash stared at the girl who had just said that she knew who he was. He pondered for a second thinking that maybe she knew Rem. He remembered Her well and felt the tears appearing in his eyes. Until the girl directed her attention to a door hearing a loud thud and the turning of a doorknob in the closet down the hall.
"What's that?" the blue haired girl asked looking for a quick answer. He didn't answer her quick enough with his blank stares and nervous smile She walked down the alley and opened the door. The piercing scream of the woman entered the blonde's ears as he and the others ran to his side. All of them looked down at the body that was retching below while the girl laid on her back heaving in breaths.
"KNIVES!!!" All of them except Aya said.
"Knives...." Aya said staring down at the white blonde below. Her eyes targeting the one known as knives. She had a weird feeling about this young man that lay before them. She picked herself up and dusted her clothes.
"Knives is my brother..." Vash said coldly as he began to pick up Knives from the floor.
"Your Psychotic brother, Hun" Wolfwood added snickering slightly then putting a hand on his shoulder. Vash glared back at him and Wolfwood smiled back. He removed his hand and helped his lover help his brother to the couch down the hall. Aya stood in the background watching intently to the oblivious scene with her normal calm purple eyes. She looked into the closet that Knives had fallen out of and inside there was blood from places where knives had try to beat himself out of the closet. She touched the walls...and 5 scenes of pure horror entered her mind. She hushed herself from her own tortured screams and remained silent. She knew something she didn't think the two young men knew themselves. Something that might affect their relationship. "The cards will show soon enough" she whispered walking down the dark hall. She retrieved her composure and smiled as she greeted the 5 people at the end of the hall. Vash and Wolfwood were on a separate couch from knives and Millie and Meryl sat at the table. She seated herself beside knives and smiled at him. He didn't smile back only slightly snickered at her staring blankly into the twilight of the day. She moved away from knives and sat on the floor, disturbed.
Aya knowing that she needed to get her word across sat beside Vash setting a hand on his arm, she locked eyes with his.
"I know it's hard to believe this..."She said quietly smiling the entire time.
"It's fucking unbelievable" Wolfwood choked out lifting a cigarette from his pocket.
"For humans, yes"
"Are you saying, Vash isn't human?" Wolfwood quivered his anger and rage growing quicker by the second.
"Damn Straight!" Screamed a voice that was lying on the floor. It was Knives of course being an psychopath idiot as normal.
"Ahem..." the girl coughed. "For once Knives is right."
"He is?" Both men said staring at the floor then staring at her.
Aya laughed smoothing her blue bangs back from her face. "Normal human men cannot have children..."the girl poked the blondes stomach. "But Mr. Vash here can., Preacher boy"
"Ill believe when I see it" Wolfwood answered blowing the girl's response off.
Aya looked at the other two women for a little help. Her smile seemed to make it toward the taller one and as Millie stood up she blew out a small apathetic breath. "But, Mr. Wolfwood...Vash isn't like us. He has proved it over and over again. So I'm not surprised if his kind can."
"Millie, are you saying you believe this psycho?" Wolfwood muffled chewing on his cigarette.
"What choice do we have?"
His response was an annoyed sigh. He faced Aya and with serious eyes he asked "How are you so sure?"
A smile grew across the girl's face. She rose and walk toward the sink filling a glass with water. she brought the glass to her lips and hummed.
"That was so long ago...well no only a century or so ago."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
Aya set the glass down and diverted her eyes toward Vash, smiled, and stared blankly at Wolfwood. "A century ago I stole away on a ship of scientist that was for making a better world, thingy" She held her breath for awhile trying not to care about the blonde's suddenly teary expression.
"well as it is known that ship blew up thanks to Mr. I'm a psycho" she said kicking Knives in the stomach then hearing a thud after it. She saw him get up and was about to scream to her face when Vash got him to sit down again by pulling him to the floor.
"that thing needs a leash" She snorted trying to continue her story. "Anyway, I was there for the entire time of your birth and growth Vash and knives. You guys were easier to look at back then..."
Wolfwood was about to throw this girl out then but with a teary eyed look from Vash he sat down again. He knew that she knew he was getting on his nerves. and it really pissed him off to see her chuckling like that at his every movement.
Her eyes became cold and serious suddenly as she began to speak again. "During the time you guys were developing your DNA was studied by all those scientist. They analyzed you data and found something that was truly strange"
"And that was?" Wolfwood said annoyed as ever.
"After a hundred years or so of human years they, being Vash and knives, were able to form offspring. Having plant cells running through their blood allowed them even as males to hold and carry offspring because that's what plants do. But because the plant cells were obviously mutated with the human cells, they were able to carry live offspring within them like human females. But there is a catch. For that to even happen even if they would have to be exposed to Full Humans particularly human males. Because for them to give off their own sperm to a fully human female could mean sudden cataclysm if the girl became pregnant. Like defects and stuff"
"Are you saying that Vash is a woman?"
"Oh Hell no. If that was the case this entire discovery would be null and void."
"Well what about...the women of his kind" Nick asked suddenly getting interested in the subject.
"Well not much is known about them" She paused to sip some water. "Except they could only, now possibly, only reproduce with their own kind. for some reason the guys were an exception."
"So...what are you saying then?"
"Vash is a hybrid, a hybrid of plant and human cell mutation." She took a long breath and looked at the now dumbfounded Vash.
"Don't, Worry. You will always be yourself no matter what fucked up crap is running through you" She smiled hugging him for a bit then getting off of him once Wolfwood gave her a deadly eye.
Vash was confused. Everything was coming so fast for him and it made his head spin with all these questions, possibilities, and other insanities that he probably wouldn't understand even if they were explained to him. A sudden dark image appeared in his mind as he searched his thoughts. A memory of a pale black room, on the floor laid ripped tattered clothing, all in a pool of crimson blood.

"How could...I forget?" the blonde murmured as tears streamed down his cheeks. Wolfwood could see the tears on his lover's face and he gently brushed them away with his hand. But the tears kept on coming and Vash smothered his face in Nicholas's arm. He wiped his own tears away and begin to cling on his arm.
"What did you forget, Vash" Wolfwood asked letting his arm being clung to.
"nothing...nick...nothing at all" he whispered his eyes growing in a frightening seriousness as he stared at his brother on the floor. Everything went silent as those two locked eyes.
"umm...Aya? If that is your name...so are you sure that pregnancy is the case with Vash?" Meryl spoke up breaking the short silence.
"For some reason , I'm positive" The girl answered holding a laugh with her hand.
"Great! We're working on a hunch!"
"A Hunch that is backed up with concrete points, Meryl" Millie cried out grinning at the whole predicament.
"That is true Millie. But I still find it terribly hard to believe."
"You're not the only one" Vash announced standing from his seat. "I really can't believe this myself. It almost seems frightening"
"I wouldn't blame you. I would be too if it were me" Aya exclaimed partially snickering under her breath.
"Well I'm going to be here for the entire ordeal! So might as well get used to me Preacher boy!" The girl laughed nudging Wolfwood in the arm.
"Wow...I'm...so thrilled" He responded in a low sarcastic tone.
"I KNOW YOU ARE!" She cried skipping toward a small room near Vash's and Wolfwood's.
"She thinks she owns the house" Preacher boy said rolling his eyes.
"yep.." Vash laughed putting a hand on his love's shoulder.
Wolfwood turned to face Vash and held the blonde's shoulders with his strong arms. Then brought him closer to him, holding him tight. He tipped the blonde's chin with two of his fingers and leaned down grasping Vash's lips with his own. Then slipping his tongue into the warm mouth of his lover sucking slowly.
Vash wrapped his arms around Wolfwood's neck embracing the sweet kiss. He could feel his lover's hand slip down his shirt as the kisses began to lead from his lips to his neck. He began to moan quietly as Wolfwood took one of his nipples between his fingers.
Aya had suddenly walked back into the living room and stopped. She coughed slightly as they were close to taking each others clothes off. Wolfwood was the first to break from his lover's hold. Leaving Vash whimpering for more. When suddenly Millie jumped into Wolfwood's face.
"MR WOLFWOOD!"
"What Millie?"
"What are you going to name the Baby?"
"I don't know"
"Tim?"
"No"
"Sarah?"
& quot;No."
"Jonathan?"
"No"
"Millie?! " Millie yelled out full of smiles and sunshines.
"OH HELL NO! God Millie Just go the hell away!"
"Ohh....alright" She said gathering her things. "Come on Meryl"
Meryl looked over to Vash and smiled. "Vash...?"
"hmm?" He asked still dazed from the half beaten make out session.
"Take care of yourself"
"Don't worry I will. You do the same okay?"
"Yeah. Me and mills are going on a long needed vacation. So I'm sure we will be alright"
"Well have a nice time...I guess"
"If anything happens. We will find out way back. I promise" She whispered as Millie and herself walked out of the door.
Aya stretched out and yawned. "Guess its time to hit the hay. Its about time I don't sleep in a dead ally" She said walking down the hall dragging knives with her.
Wolfwood Pulled Vash back into his arms. "You're scared aren't you?"
"Yeah...more than ever" the blonde responded looking toward the floor.
Wolfwood planted a kiss on Vash's forehead. "Don't worry. Ill be here for you."
"Haha think there would be another?"
"Lets not have another orphanage ok?" Nicholas said half heartily grabbing the chin of his lover, stealing a kiss.
Aya popped up between them and grinned. "HEY WHATCHA DOING?"
Wolfwood pushed the girl backwards sending her over the couch. Aya!!!!"
"Hahaha...I loooooooove being me!" the girl said running through the house as Wolfwood began to chase her.
