True Love Part One-

One sunny day Vash, a tall man who stood about 6 1, with a long red overcoat, blue eyes, and blonde hair was walking down a street with Millie who also stood about 6 1 with a long badge overcoat, brown hair, and blue eyes and Meryl a rather short woman about 5 foot with a short white over coat, black hair, and black eyes. Vash was carrying a box of donuts stuffing his face. Meanwhile Ryo was walking towards him unknowingly. Ryo turned her head to look at something and accidentally bumped into Vash knocking her to the ground. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry," said Ryo, as her eyes met his eyes.

Oh, that's him, Ryo thought to herself.

"Oh that's ok, no worries." Vash replied with a gentle smile that made her feel weak in the knees, but at that moment, as he went too help her up from the ground, she suddenly felt faint and the world went black........

Later as Ryo awoke from her blackout she was startled to see who was staring back at her, it was the blonde hair, blue-eyed man that took her breath away. He smiled and said, "Are you okay, you just passed out, what happened?"

"Well, I have no idea, all I remember was you and then nothing" Ryo said still half asleep. He just looked at her with a serious look on his face, which made Ryo uneasy. She looked at him and suddenly realized she was in a room with a total stranger, "who are you, and where am I?"

"Whoa there, just you settle down" Vash smiled.

"Wow your really cute," said Ryo. Vash got an embarrassing look on his face and laughed a little. Ryo blushed, "What can i say im a very stright forward girl!" she laughed

Vash started to speak but Meryl interrupted "Ahem," She began, "Would you like to introduce us Vash?"

"Yes, would you," added Millie. Vash looked back at the two and got an annoyed look on his face. They always have to interrupt when I'm talking to a cute girl, Vash thought to himself.

"Your Vash… the Stampede," Ryo said "You don't look like someone who would kill, or is that just your cover?" she said in a serious tone. Vash looked back at her.

With a happy smile on her face Millie said, "Oh, Vash isn't bad at all" Ryo glanced at Millie and Meryl confused. Meryl smiled and said, "Oh, I'm so sorry let me introduce my self I'm Meryl strife and this is Millie Tompson, were from the Bernarddelly Insurance Agency."

"Nice to meet you, my name is Ryo....." She paused and Vash's' gun caught her eye, No last names she thought. Ryo, wow, what a unushual name for a girl, Vash thought to him self, "Well I feel much more better now I'll be on my way," She stood up to walk to the door, then suddenly collapsed. Vash grabbed her just in time. Ryo went to look up and meet Vash's eyes,

"You have very beautiful eyes," Vash complemented as he looked into hers. Ryo blushed.

"Ryo are you all right?" Asked Millie as she ran up to them, "Ryo, hello, can you here me," Millie said as they broke away from that moment.

"Yeah… Thank you Vash, I'll be fine Millie, I just have to rest." Said Ryo as she tried to stand up again.

"Well,…" Vash said as he helped her to the bed, "You're welcome to stay, and I'll even stay in the room to protect you," he said in a sly, cunning voice.

Meryl started. "Vash, I don't know about…" , "I'd like that very much if you'd stay" Ryo interrupted

Vash said smiling "I'll be right here," as he walked over to a couch in the room.

Millie and Meryl just sighed and looked at each other then Meryl said,

"Well, we'll be in the room right next door, if anything goes wrong…" she stopped and gave Vash a dirty. Vash looked back at her in a confused, innocent state.

"Oh, I am sure I'll be just fine," said Ryo in a happy tone.

Millie and Meryl left and Vash smiled at Ryo and got comfortable in the chair, eventually dozing off. She grinned at his face, he looked so happy, yet than again there was a falseness about his smiles. Just laying there, she thought about the day that she just had. Knives is going to kill me.......she thought, Eventually falling asleep.

****vashes dream****

Vash was sleeping on a blanket. He was awoken by the voice of a girl, turning over on his back, he sat up. He looked over and saw Rem sitting next to him. She gracefully pulled a loose stran of hair behind her ear, skimming the side of her face as she put her hands on her knees pulling them in to her stomach. it was a peacefully sunny day as every day was in the rec. room. the air was so pure and sweet smelling. Rem smiled at Vash "Your awake, wow you slept a long time!"

He looked at her confused. A smile spread across his face "Yea well I don't get much sleep any more" Rem started to speak, but suddenly the sky got dark and Knives appeared. He looked at Vash. a sicking smile streatched across his face. Knives shot Rem. Vash ran to her side and held her up she smiled and said "take care of Knives, Vash. he needs you" Vash whispered "I will," she fell silent. Vash got up and looked at Knives. "Its like I told you before brother, they are inferior to us and they must all die" said Knives and raised his gun to Vash's head and............................

****end dream****

Vash woke up in the middle of the night, after having that terrible dream. He was in a cold sweat, shaking as a tear rolled down his cheek. He walked over to Ryo's bedside. He looked at her, so beautiful and peaceful she looked laying there. He felt so numb and decided to climb in bed with her. She wouldn't mind he thought to himself.
