True Love Part Two

Ryo woke up startled and rubbed her eyes, She was so deep in a daze that she didn't realize Vash was in the bed and had his arm around her. Soon coming back to reality. she looked over and jumped. Oh my God what is he doing in the bed with me! She thought to herself. She tried to get free but he had a good grip on her. Suddenly Meryl pushed the door open, she saw Ryo struggling to get away from Vash. To that she said, "I knew this would happen," she ran over to Vash and hit him on the head with her fist. Vash woke up instantly.

"Ow, what the hell was that for?" he asked rubbing his sore head.

"I knew you were going to try to rape her you, you womanizer," Meryl yelled at him.

"I didn't try to rape her," he said.

"Oh yea, then what were you doing?"

"That couch was so uncomfortable and I heard something and got scared, so I thought she wouldn't mind if I got in the bed. It's a king size bed for heavens sake," Vash said with a sad, distant look.

"Then what were you doing with your arm around her?" Millie asked.

"I don't know I guess I thought she was......," Vash stoped

"Millie, Meryl, it's okay, it's over, besides," she looked over at Vash, "I didn't mind." Ryo said.

Vash blushed and quickly changed the subject, "Well looks like your okay, what are you going to do now?"

Ryo replied, "Well I don't know, where are you guys off to?"

"We're going to the next town on the map," answered Millie as she got out the map.

"Well, if you guys don't mind, may I come with you," Ryo said.

Meryl started to speak, "Well I don't think…"

Vash cut in, "That would be great if you came along. I would enjoy the company."

Meryl said, "What about us?"

Vash smiled and said, "Well you guys aren't quite the talkers and the more the merrier. Right?"

The bus rolled off, since the seats could only fit two people Ryo was with Vash and Millie was with Meryl. Since Millie and Meryl were mad at Vash that is why they didn't seem to care to be sitting together. Ryo sat quietly with a hundred thoughts going through her head. Why is he so nice? Why am I having such strong feelings for him? What is the real reason he was sleeping with me? Dose he really like me? She glanced over to Vash. Vash noticed her looking at him and turned his head towards her and smiled. Ryo quickly turned her head away and blushed. He was feeling awkward with all the silence and said, "It's a beautiful day, isn't it?" Vash said while turning his head towards Ryo smiling.

Ryo replied, "Yes, it is," without looking at him, and went back to silence.

Why does she seem to be so afraid of me? Vash thought to himself. An hour passed and by then Vash had fallen asleep. He was also laying all over Ryo who was feeling so embarrassed because all of the people on the bus were staring at them even Millie and Meryle, since he was the humanoid typhoon. Another hour passed and they finally reached a stop so all the passengers could stretch and get good rest from the long bus ride, and for the one coming up tomorrow. By then Ryo was also asleep and the two of them were all over each other. Meryl looked at them in disgust.

"Would you just look at them?" Meryl said.

Millie smiled, "They look so sweet together," Millie stated.

"Yeah, whatever," snapped Meryl.

"Do I hear a hint of jealousy?" teased Millie.

Meryl just gave her a dirty look and walked off the bus. Millie followed. Vash woke up and saw Ryo was sleeping on him. Wow, she is even prettier close up. He thought to himself. He was looking at her. At the very same moment she woke up and screamed immediately slapped him across the face.

"Ow!" Vash cried rubbing his cheek.

"Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was you." Ryo said.

"Oh, that's all right don't worry, I get that a lot. Wow, you hit really hard," Vash said and put down his hand.

"kni...... I mean Spike, used to train me." said Ryo looking around.

"Who's that?" asked Vash.

"My uh, dad." She stuttered to say

"Well, I'm starving how about you?" Vash asked. Ryo nodded and they walked off the bus.

They walked into a local salon. They sat down at the bar. The waitress walked up to

them and said, "What can I get y'all to drink?"

"A beer, please," Vash said

Ryo looked at Vash then back at the waitress, "Make that 2 beers," she added.

Vash looked at her surprised that she had ordered a beer.

She looked at him and said, "What your the only one aloud to have fun?"

"No, not at all!" he said with a higher voice then usual.

("Almost sounded like someone kicked him in the nuts" say's the author).

*After about 20 rounds*

"Well, I think you guys had all you can handle," said the bartender. Giving them that look like you don't leave your getting kicked out.

"Oh, come on let us have more" asked a very, very intoxicated Vash with an orange and green tie around his head. He was suddenly thrown out, face in dirt and legs in the air. Ryo not short after him but Vash caught her. Ryo smiled and said "Thank (hick) you" After that "tragedy" they went to find a motel to get some rest. They found some dump called "High Motel." They were short on money and just got one room with a king size bed. As they stumbled in to the room. Ryo ploped down on the bed with a sigh of relife"what a long...." Vash jumped on top of her. Ryo made a sort of painful grunt due to the amount of weight that was just dropped on her. They just laid there for two or three seconds. Ryo finally moved up towards Vash's face.she ran her hands over his neck and pulled him in As he closed his eyes Ryo closed hers. They kissed. Ryo's toung outlined Vash's lower lip. Vash pulled away with a look of pure terror in his eyes " I'm sorry I shouldn't of done that" Ryo said with a look of descust. "No its my fault" Vash replied. He smilled and rolled over. What was I thinking she likes me but I just can't do it I can't let him know. Damn you, damn you for doing this to me. Vash scollded him self and soon passed out. Ryo layed there for a moment she glanced at Vash. Rolled over on her side, away from him and started to cry. She thought to her self, how am I going to tell him. A few moments later she fell asleep.
