Author's Note(s):
Caerné: Hiyas! I am back! Hehehe.
MdnitePrncez: Yeah, we see, we hear.
Caerné: **Sticks tongue out at MP** Anyways, another thanking you to our favorite reviewer, Feye Morgan and our soul reviewer on mm.org, lil_angle_v.
MdnitePrncez: Gandalf and Folken…that would be an interesting conversation…especially when Gandalf pulls out the weed.
Caerné: Yeah…hehehe. Then the Hobbits would all show up and all the intelligence of that conversation would go out the window 'cause they would go looking for munchies. Whoohoo! Head for the nearest 7-11!
MdnitePrncez: Hehehehe. Anyways, this is a looooooooong chapter. So long, we had to break it into two. Torture, torture, torture.
Caerné: But they're both good and you won't be disappointed.
MdnitePrncez: Yuppers.
Caerné: Okay, last order of business. Um…we decided to totally rip-off---.**gets smacked upside the head by MP** HEY! What the bloody was that for?
MdnitePrncez: Borrow. We borrowed the idea to recommend stories from Feye Morgan and every other ff.net writer.
Caerné: **mumbles something intelligible** Fine. Borrow. Whatever. Anyway, we recommend various stories from various anime, movies, and such, including original works.
MdnitePrncez: Feye Morgan, if you have a problem with this, um…email and complain.
Caerné: No hate mail or viruses…Please? Ah, screw it! Yahoo blocks those! Ha!
MdnitePrncez: Recommendations are at the end of the fic.
Caerné: Okay, on with the fic. I think we'll have a special guest next week…if you're good.
Chapter 12 A~~ Hellish Nightmares
The bell rang and the student floodgates opened up. It was a mass exodus of loud teenagers.
"Thank God, that class is over!" Alex yelled above the roar of student body to her two companions.
"I know! That could have been the worse test ever!" Serena replied.
"Maybe for you since you couldn't remember half of the things on it," Hitomi joked with her blonde friend.
"Well, sorry if I'm not a genius like you and Lex! So history isn't really my thing, I'm not good at those kinds of things, but if you put me in a computer class, well, I outclass the both of you. So, nah!" Serena said as she blew a raspberry at Hitomi.
"Hey, you two, chill. We just graduated from high school. Come on, let's go celebrate. I feel the need to take the guys out dancing tonight. They need a little bit of earthen entertainment," Alex said as she butted in on the argument.
"Yeah, definitely. I need to show Van the Desert Rose. I think he'd enjoy it," Hitomi commented with a smile.
"Yeah, I'm sure he'd enjoy it. He was all over you last night and this morning. So this would give him another opportunity to put his hands all over you," Alex said with a laugh.
"Yeah, Yeah. I'm sure you want Dilandau all over you tonight. I saw you two last night. He couldn't keep his hands or his lips off you. If he hadn't passed out, I'm sure he would have removed your shirt," Hitomi sneered back at her friend.
"Alright, you two! I saw where last night went. You both sucked face with cute guys and you want them to do it again. I know how it goes with you two. Hitomi you've been pining after Van since the day you left Gaea. And Alex I know how you are with guys like Dilandau. And I saw the way he looked at you too. He wants you and you want him. Now come on! Let's split this joint. I've been at this school far longer than I need to. So, come on, slowpokes! Hop in the jeep and buckle up. We've have some hot guys we have to meet up with." Serena cheered happily. She pulled her keys out of her purse, her pink rabbit's foot jingling as she fiddled for the right key.
"Right, girlfriend. Let's split this joint," Hitomi cheered as she grabbed Alex's hand and dragged her towards the jeep.
Once the girls piled into the car and began pulling out of the high school parking lot, Alex struck up a conversation.
"Hey, Sere?" she asked.
"Yeah," Serena responded as she checked her mirrors and pulled out onto the main road.
"Who's this hot guy you mentioned? I know Tomi wants Van and Dilandau is after me but you said 'we'. So, who are you meeting with?"
"Oh, you caught that, did you?" Serena said sheepishly.
"Yeah, I did. So, who is it?" She paused and then gave her a sly smile. "Is it Gaddes?"
At this comment, Serena's face started turning a bright shade of pink.
"Ha, I knew it! Sere likes Gaddes. Don't worry, Sere! He's a cutie, too. Though he might be friends with your brother, he's not really a dork. I think he'd be perfect for you. I saw him staring at you this morning. He's into you, Sere," Alex laughed.
"Yeah, ok, ok, I like him," Serena whispered.
"Alright girl, I think we can manage getting you two together."
"Ok," Serena said as she pulled her jeep into the long driveway.
Once the engine was turned off, sounds of metal clashing was heard off the side yard.
"Hey, it's Van and Dilandau," Hitomi said as she grabbed her bag out of the Jeep and ran towards the yard where the sounds of a swordfight were coming from.
"Come on, guys! Let's go watch. I used to watch Van duel Allen when I was on Gaea and he's really good. Dilandau's good, too. I remember watching the two of them duel once or twice. He's just as good. Only back then, they were out to kill each other but I think they made up their differences," Hitomi called out to her two companions behind her.
When she stopped running, she watched the two Gaean men duel.
"Come on, Van-baka! I know you can do better than that," Dilandau sneered as he ducked as Van took a swipe at him.
"Shut your trap and fight me like a man," Van yelled as he jabbed his blade towards his opponent.
"We have an audience now, baka! Let's give the little ladies a show," Dilandau said as he jumped up from his crouching position to swing his katana at the raven-haired man.
"Right," Van yelled back as he blocked the blow intended to knock off his head.
The two men exchanged blows back and forth. Blow after blow, block after block. The two combatants were dead even in both strength and skill. Neither gained the upper hand over the other.
"Hey, Boys! It's time to stop with the swordplay," Hitomi yelled to the two men.
"Yeah, we've been at this for the past hour I think its time to call it a day," Van called to Dilandau as he took a jab and knocked his opponent's sword out of his hand.
"Fine! Whatever, I'll get you next time we battle," Dilandau replied as he picked his katana up from the ground and placed it back into its sheath attached to his hip.
"So, what ya think, Ladies?" Dilandau asked as he sauntered up to the girls, or more, he sauntered up to Alex.
"Not bad. A little boring, though," Alex replied nonchalantly. "Maybe later, Tommy Girl and I'll show you how a real swordfight goes."
"I doubt she could use sword," he quipped with a sneer. Alex smiled and stepped closer to him. She ran her hand along his belt, the tip of her finger barely running over his muscled stomach, as she leaned forward as if to kiss him. Her hand brushed the hilt of his sword as her lips brushed up against his. She grabbed the hilt, unsheathed it, and quickly pulled away.
"Would you like a demonstration now?" she asked him with his sword resting lightly in her right hand.
Dilandau stared at her with a smirk. "Fine, show me what you can do."
Hitomi turned to Van and locked her hands behind her back. She leaned toward him and whispered, "Van, can I borrow your sword? Please?"
Van smiled and unsheathed his sword. He gently handed it to her and kissed her lightly on the cheek for luck.
"Come on, Tommy Girl! I don't have all day to watch you play kissy face with Van!" Alex taunted from her position in the middle of the yard.
Hitomi took her position and pulled her sword into a ready stance.
"Ready, now?" Alex asked impatiently. Hitomi smiled and then charged without warning. Alex blocked with ease and pushed her away forcefully. She smiled and brought her sword down swiftly and sharply onto Hitomi's waiting sword. The battle continued without each giving much ground for a good hour before either showed signs of weakening. Both were tired and starting to make small mistakes. If either had been fighting a normal person, they would still be going strong. But things are different with slayers. Neither had bothered to control or reserve their strength and had used the majority of their slayer strength and skill against each other. Alex charged a final time and Hitomi blocked weakly. Both leaned into their sword, pushing into the other. They sneered at each other with demonic gleams in their eyes. Both girls stared with determination and force at their crossed swords. Alex smiled and then crossed her eyes, causing Hitomi to start to giggle. Alex soon joined in and they pulled the swords away from each other. They walked back to the group laughing merrily.
Alex strolled to Dilandau and handed him his sword. She smiled up at him and asked, "So, what do you think?"
"You're not bad…for a girl," he said as he leaned forward to kiss her.
Alex smiled and leaned forward as if to accept his kiss and whispered softly, "Maybe next time, I'll just have to take you on." She then pulled away and brushed past him, leaving him to kiss the late afternoon air.
As she walked toward the house, she called behind her, "We're planning on going to the Desert Rose tonight. And I need a date." She turned her head slightly to look at him, waiting for him to say something. He just stared at her with a clueless expression on his handsome face.
"What?" Dilandau asked in confusion.
"Oh, God! Just say that you'll come!" she exclaimed exasperated.
"What am I getting myself into, first?" he asked. She stopped in her trek to the house and turned to face him. She put her hands on her hips and glared at him.
"Are you coming or not?"
"Uh, yeah. Okay, I guess so," he answered in final submission. She smiled and skipped off towards the house, grabbing her discarded book bag along the way. Dilandau watched her go and then turned to Hitomi.
"What the Hell did I just get myself into?" he asked.
"You'll see," she said cryptically. She turned to Van on her left and said, "You're coming with me whether you like it or not."
"Oh, really? I have no choice in this at all, do I?" he inquired with a raised eyebrow.
"Nope, you don't," she said with a smile. She kissed him lightly on the cheek and followed Alex into the house, snatching her bag as she skipped by, mimicking Alex.
Serena smiled as she passed by the two men. She stopped in between them. She patted them on the head and said, "Ok, come on, you need to get ready. They wouldn't like it if you're late." She patted them on the head once again and then skipped along the path to the house her purse tucked tightly on her back. They watched her go with a mix amusement and confusion.
"What the Hell did we just get ourselves into?" Van asked the silver-haired General.
"Not a fucking clue," he answered. "But I have a sinking feeling that if we don't go, some of us are going to be in pain for a couple of days."
The two looked at each other and then marched back toward the house, wondering what hellish nightmare the girls had planned for them.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Alex *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex studied her closet and sighed. She didn't see anything interesting enough. She sighed again and wandered into the hallway. She went to Hitomi's room and found the girl studying her closet with as much dissatisfaction as she had just been doing.
"Hey, wanna switch closets?" Alex asked from the doorway.
"Yeah," she answered with disinterest. Hitomi wandered to Alex's room and picked through Alex's clothes. She smiled as she found the perfect outfit. She yanked it out of the closet and squealed with delight. She quickly changed, posed for the mirror, and smiled. She put on Alex's deep red robe and walked back to her own room where she found Alex putting on a pair of Hitomi's Mary Jane's.
Hitomi smirked, "Dilly-kun's going to like that," she said in a sing-song tone.
"You think?" Alex asked as she spun around allowing her skirt to flare up slightly.
"He'll be eating out of your hands by 10," she said. "Or in your pants."
"Hey! We're not like that!" Alex huffed defensively.
"Yet," Hitomi added with a grin.
"What's with my robe? Are you going to wear that? 'Cause red just doesn't quite work," Alex said.
Hitomi gave her a saccharine laced smile. "Ha, ha, ha."
Hitomi opened the robe and Alex hid her face as she screamed, "Flasher!" And then started to laugh hysterically.
Hitomi glared at her and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Who's a flasher?" Serena asked as she entered the room.
"No one," Hitomi answered with annoyance.
"Hitomi is!" Alex quipped through her laughter as tears formed in her eyes.
"I am not!" Hitomi said with a pout.
"I don't even want to know," Serena said as she rolled her eyes and wandered out of the room.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Serena *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Serena left the room with a sigh. She needed to find her date, without Allen seeing. Or better yet, she needed to get Allen to agree to send Gaddes to protect her from the evils of the world. She smirked at the last thought. If he only knew…
She wandered through the halls, searching for his room or anyone who would know where the pansy boy was. She searched for 15 minutes before she stumbled past Willow's room and noticed that the door was open. She peeked in and found her sitting on her bed, reading a spell book.
"Willow, have you seen Allen?" Serena asked.
"Why do you ask?" Willow responded suspiciously. She remembered this morning and the lovely wake-up call Allen had given the entire east wing of the house.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Flashback *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
A high pitch, girlish scream ripped through the silent house, waking those who weren't already awake. Gaddes, whose room was closest to the scream, ran out of his room and toward the cry. He burst into the room to find Allen sitting up in his bed fingering one of the many braids that had become his beautiful hair. Gaddes froze at the door for a split second and then burst into a fit of laughter. He dropped to his knees and gripped his stomach, trying to control his hysterics without much success. Allen looked up as tears formed in his eyes. Willow, Folken, and Merle stormed in and stared at the scene before them. Willow and Merle fell into fits of laughter as Folken looked on with amusement and a sly smirk.
"I sense Serena and Hitomi are behind this," Willow said between spasms and gasps for air.
"Why me?" Allen whined as he fingered another braid.
"'Cuz you pissed her off, you moron," Merle said as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* End Flashback *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"I just want to ask him a question," she said with innocence.
"I am not going to believe that," Willow said as she glanced up from her book.
"I swear, I just want to ask him if Gaddes can escort me to the Desert Rose tonight," Serena protested.
"You like him don't you?" Willow asked without looking up from her book.
Serena's eyes widened as she blushed a bright pink. "Uh, where did you hear that?"
"Serena, you know me better than that!" Willow moaned. "Besides, he's been staring at you and you've been staring at him. It's not that difficult to figure out."
"Okay, so I like him! Could you not tell Allen though, please?" Serena pleaded.
"I wouldn't dream of it. Allen's in the library with Folken and Gaddes," she said as she smiled into her book. Serena mumbled a thank you and quickly left to go find the library.
She arrived in a matter of minutes and found all three where Willow had said they would be. Allen sat at a table placed in the middle of the room with a small book sitting open in front of him. His hair was pulled back into a ponytail in a vain attempt to hide the fact that he looked like he got in a fight with a crimper and lost miserably. Not to mention that it was rather frizzy. Gaddes leaned lazily against one of the many shelves of books looking like he was sleeping standing up. Folken stood off to the other side of the room with a book in his hand, reading.
"Brother? Can I speak to you for a moment, please?" Serena asked sweetly.
"Why?" Allen asked suspiciously.
"Don't you trust me, Big Brother?" Serena asked letting her eyes widen in mock hurt. Her lower lip quivered slightly and her eyes glistened. Folken and Gaddes, who had opened his eyes at her entrance, each raised an eyebrow. A small smile touched Folken's lips. He knew the game she was playing; Van had done it to him many a time when the boy was a child. 'She's pretty good at it, too,' he thought to himself. 'Allen's screwed.'
Allen's mouth twitched slightly. "Yes, I trust you, Okashi."
Serena smiled innocently, cringing inwardly at the detestable pet name she remembered him giving her as a child. "Can I speak to you in private?"
"Of course, Okashi."
'Okashi my ass! Where the hell does he get this shit from?' she thought rabidly. 'Okashi! Hmph, get me my frickin' shotgun and I'll show him what this sweet one can do.'
She led him to just outside the door of the library. She turned to him and put on her most innocent and sweet face.
"Big Brother, the girls are going to a dance club with Van and Dilandau and I need an escort. Do you think it would be possible if Gaddes could come with me? I'd take you but it would be too awkward," she said with sugar. 'Not to mention disgusting, vile, a sin against humanity, oh, and icky.'
"Um, okay," Allen said.
"Thank you, Big Brother," she replied as she batted her eyelashes and smiled sweetly. She turned and skipped into the room. She skipped toward Gaddes and grabbed a hold of his wrist. She smiled slyly and pulled him out of the room.
"Nande kuso-?" he cried out in vague protest.
"You're coming dancing with me and we need to get you ready," she said as she pulled him along. "That get-up just ain't gonna to cut it."
She dragged him along the corridor, fear written on his face.
"Where are we going?" he asked.
"To Willow's room," she said with glee.
She dragged him to Willow's room and walked in through the open door.
"Willow, I need you to-."
"Closet," Willow interrupted as she turned the page in her book nonchalantly.
"Thank you!" she yelled as she pulled Gaddes back to the elevator and to his hell for the next hour. After Serena had decided on a pair of brown suede pants and forest green button-up cotton shirt, she led him back down to the library and released him back into the environment in which she found him. Allen and Folken were still there in almost the exact same places as when Serena had captured Gaddes.
"Now, I want you to stay here and don't wander off, k'?" she ordered. She fixed his shirt some while he shifted nervously. Eventually she left and he was free for a while.
"What happened to you?" Allen asked with a curious smirk.
"Your sister is what happened to me!" Gaddes whined. "Gods save me!" he mumbled to himself.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Hitomi and Alex *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Alex grabbed the robe Hitomi had just discarded and put it on. "Hurry up! I want to leave soon. And we still have to get the boys ready!" Alex whined.
"Yeah, yeah, I am not the one who spent an hour twirling in front of the mirror," Hitomi countered.
"Neither am I! That's Serena!" Alex laughed.
"Yeah, whatever."
Alex left and went back to her own room. Hitomi went to her bathroom and did her hair and make-up. Alex put on her make-up and stared at her reflection. After fifteen minutes, Hitomi made her way to Alex's room with her robe still on. She found Alex still trying to figure out what to do with her hair.
Hitomi sighed and came up behind her. She pulled the hair on the sides of her head back and clipped it with two small red claw clips.
"There! You look cute," Hitomi said with irritation. "Let's go get our cuties now."
"Right, let's go" Alex said as she checked her face once again, grabbed her purse and then followed Hitomi out the door.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Dilandau & Van *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
"So what do you think they have in store for us tonight?" Van asked Dilandau.
"I have no fucking clue and frankly I'm slightly afraid of them," Dilandau responded.
"I know what you mean; Hitomi had a slightly predatorial look in her eyes."
"Oh really, so have you laid her yet. I know you want her."
"So, I want Hitomi. I saw you last night; you were one step away from taking Alex then and there,"
"Yeah, so what? She came on to me last night. I was drunk and she climbed into my lap, what do you expect? You want me to push away a beautiful girl that came on to me. Yeah, right! You know me better than that."
"Yeah, I know you better than that. But, no, I haven't laid Hitomi yet, and I don't plan on it till later."
"Oh, yeah. That's right, you can't, huh? That whole royalty thing is a load of shit and you know it. I know you want to take her. She wants you otherwise, she wouldn't have gotten you drunk last night. She'd give it up if you offered it to her."
"I know she would, that's not the point. I don't plan on it till after I've asked her to marry me, ok? I'm not like you, though I don't think you've even gotten that far before."
"Like I care-."
"Hola, amigos," Alex called out as she and Hitomi walked into the room.
"What's with the robes?" Dilandau asked "You hiding something under there, Onna?"
"Mhm, something you'd like, but ain't gettin', Mr. Can't-Keep-His-Hands-to-Himself."
"Sure. What about you?" Dilandau pointed to Hitomi and her dark blue fuzzy robe.
"Nothing you'd ever get, I'm sure." Hitomi replied with a sly smirk on her face.
"Not that I'd want it, but I'm sure he'd take you up on that offer," Dilandau bantered back.
"Who ever said I'm offering?" she bit back.
"Hitomi, Princess of the Comeback Lines has won again. Good work, Tommy Girl," Alex butted in as she clapped her hands.J
Hitomi catching on to the joke took on the pose of an academy award winner. Her eyes lit up in mock joy as she curtseyed.
"Thank you, thank you, I couldn't have done it without the little people," she said as she wiped a fake teardrop from her emerald eye.
"Right," Dilandau said in disbelief. "So, whose the queen then?" he asked.
"Well, that my dear, would be me. Hitomi is only my protégé. She learned from the best and, I might add, is a formidable ally to the comeback line regime."
"Anyways, you two have to get ready for tonight. So, come on off your lazy asses and follow us," Hitomi said as she walked over to Van and grabbed a hold of his wrist and pulled him along behind her. Alex followed Hitomi's example, and grabbed a hold of Dilandau, pulling him to his feet.
"Where are we going, Onna?" he asked.
"To Willow's room, of course. She has that sorcerer thing going and she'll give you guys clothes to wear that are appropriate for the Desert Rose and for earth. Not that you look bad or anything, but people stopped wearing your style of clothes centuries ago," she replied as she pulled him out the door and down the hall.
"Willow is a sorcerer?" Dilandau asked a twinge of fear evident in his voice. Alex stopped and turned to face him, noting the twinge.
"No. That's not what I meant," she said softly. "I meant witchy-sorcerer, not experiment-sorcerer. Willow would never do…what they did."
"Promise?" Dilandau whispered. Alex smiled reassuringly and nodded.
"I promise."
Dilandau returned her smile and pulled her into a tight embrace. He gripped her tightly until Alex gently pulled away. She took his hand again and led him after the other two that had stopped a short distance ahead to wait.
When the group arrived at Willow's door, they noticed it was open and Willow was sitting on her bed reading a book.
"In their closets," Willow said blandly before they could open their mouths.
"Right, I forgot you're all knowing," Hitomi said back to Willow.
"Yes and no. Serena came by with Gaddes," Willow responded. "I just put two and two together. By the way, you'll most likely find her in the library when you're done."
"Ok," Alex called as she dragged Dilandau back to his room. Van gave a pleading glance to a smirking Willow before being dragged off just as Dilandau had been. Alex shoved Dilandau into his bedroom, closing the door behind her. Alex turned to him and smiled mischievously. Dilandau swallowed and tried not to look afraid. It wasn't working very well.
"Go sit on the bed like a good little boy," Alex ordered sweetly. "I'll go see what's in your closet."
Dilandau did what he was told and waited for the Hell to descend. Alex rummaged through the closet, pulling out various outfits she thought would look cute on him. Dilandau watched in growing fear as shirts and pants flew out at him, many nearly hitting him in the face. Finally, she was satisfied with her selections. Carefully, she went through the ones that had made the cut and chose a few that she wanted him to try on.
"No, no, I am not going to do it," Dilandau cried out, folding his arms over his chest in protest, turning his chin up slightly.
"You'll do it and you'll do it NOW!"
"Uh, um,…no," he gulped. He flinched as she came up to him and straddled him. She laid a hand behind his neck and placed her other hand on his cheek. Gently she stroked his cheek and brought her face closer to his.
"Don't you want to find out what I have under this robe?" The tip of her thumb barely ran over his lips and he gulped. He felt his brain lose control and he nodded his head. "I thought so. Now, put on the black leather pants and the deep purple silk button up shirt. Okay?"
He nodded as her lips came closer to his. She pulled away and got off him. She picked up the clothes she wanted him to put on and threw them at him.
"Put them on," she ordered. He complied and put them on as fast as he possible could. He never even bothered to leave the room. Alex turned her back on him so he could change in semi-privacy.
"Alright, I am done," he said blandly.
"Good. Now we can go meet the others," Alex said with pep as she unbuttoned a few of the top buttons exposing his hard chest.
"Great," he added with sarcasm. 'What the hell did I get myself into?'
Dilandau looked unhappy and disgruntled. He sauntered to where Alex was waiting with a warm smile. He stopped in front of her and looked down at her. She wrapped her arms around him and pulled his lips down to hers. When they pulled away, she smiled at him.
"Now, that wasn't so bad was it, Cutie?" she asked him sweetly.
He just smiled back to her then pulled her into another deep kiss.
"Now it's ok," he said with a sly grin. She took his hand in hers and led him to where Van had gone through the same torture Dilandau had just gone through. The two entered the room and found Van and Hitomi in an intimate lip-lock. They pulled away when they noticed that they had an audience.
"I see she got you too?" Van said with a sly smile. Dilandau shrugged and wrapped an arm around Alex.
"Okay, so are we almost ready to go?" Hitomi asked.
"I'd say we are," Alex replied.
The two girls then took off their robes, revealing their clubbing outfits. Alex wore a tiny red plaid skirt with a white button up shirt that was tied at her stomach with the first two buttons undone showing a small amount of cleavage. Her skirt hung low on her hips with a silver chain belt wrapped loosely around her waist. Around her neck was a black choker with blood red stone in the center. She wore black knee-highs along with a pair of black leather Mary Jane's. Hitomi wore a black mini skirt that had small slits on both sides and a midnight blue tube top with small black crystals lining the upper hem. The outfit was finished off with black knee high boots. A silver armband in the shape of a snake with blue eyes wrapped its way around her left bicep. Around her neck was a black choker with a golden crescent moon and a silver star in the center.
"So, what do you think?" Hitomi asked the boys.
"Yeah, what do you think of our outfits?" Alex asked eyeing Dilandau.
"You both look good, but um, isn't that a little bit revealing for public?" Van asked.
"Not in this century and most certainly not for dancing," Alex replied.
"Don't worry, Onna. I like it," Dilandau said with a smile.
"Good! Well, let's go" Alex said as she grabbed Dilandau's hand and began walking out of the room towards the library where they would find Serena and her date, Gaddes.
"Right, come on, Van-chan. Let's go have some fun!" Hitomi cheered as she grabbed her small purse and Van's hand. Once she had his hand nestled in her own, she pulled him out of the room and down to the library where her two friends had just run off to.
When Van, Hitomi, Alex, and Dilandau arrived at the library, they found Folken with a book in his hand. He, however, wasn't reading it. He was locked into a conversation with a blonde haired girl. Gaddes and Allen were sitting at the table with Serena.
"So, how come you have a purple teardrop under your eye?" she asked him.
"Because I wanted one," he replied.
"Ok, but why did you want one?"
Before Folken could answer her, Hitomi butted in.
"Sere-chan, you and Gaddes ready to go?" She asked happily.
"Yup, we've been ready for ages," Serena replied sarcastically.
"Well, we had these two stubborn ones to dress as well as ourselves," Alex supplied with as much bite.
"Right," Serena said as she stood up from her chair. Looking at Folken, she smiled. "It was nice talking to you," she said as she grabbed Gaddes's hand.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't," Allen whispered to him as he stood up to walk with them.
Gaddes nodded his head. 'Right, if I did anything you would do, I'd either have her in my bed by tonight, or I'd have a pissed off girl. Your way is to either treat her as a princess or a whore. No, I think I'll do this my way,' he thought to himself.
Gaddes looked towards the girl standing next to him and then to the two other girls in the room. 'She looks like a nymph in that outfit. I know Allen doesn't approve of what she's wearing, but I like it. He was scowling at her the whole time. He should not have told her to wear something else. He may be her brother but he has no right to dictate her life anymore. They haven't seen each other in more than ten years and he's already fallen back into the over protective brother mode. I don't think he should be doing it already. She's still getting used to the idea of being related to him. Anyways, in comparison to what the other two are wearing, I think she's being very modest. Not to mention she looks gorgeous,' He thought to himself as he looked to see what the others were wearing.
Serena was clad more modestly than Hitomi and Alex but she looked equally as cute. She wore a pair of tight silver leather pants that flared at the bottom with a metallic pink halter-top. Her outfit showed off every curve of her body. On her feet, she had on a pair of silver ankle boots. Around her waist was a silver chain with small pink stoned hearts ever inch or so. On her right arm, similarly to Hitomi, she had on a silver armband. The only difference was hers instead of being a snake was a simple spiral with a metallic pink stone nestled in the center of it. Her hair was pulled back into her traditional hairstyle with her customary chopsticks. These ones were silver with pink tassels and small pink hearts attached to them. Her face was done up lightly with make up. Her eyelids were done with a splash of pink and silver shadow along with a bit of black eyeliner and mascara. Her lips were glazed in a metallic pink lipstick.
Hitomi had decorated her hair in small surface braids. Her magenta streaks became the braids and gave a nice contrast to her blue and black motif. Her face was done up nicely as well. Her eyelids were done with a quick swipe of dark blue shadow and black liner and mascara. On her lips was burgundy lipstick.
Alex had her face done up very lightly. On her eyes was a bit of pink shadow with the black eyeliner and mascara. Her lips were glazed with pink tinted lip-gloss. She also had glitter splattered on her arms and chest as well as a dab at the outside corner of her eyes. The overall aura was of naughty innocence.
Hitomi had dressed Van in an outfit similar to what he would normally wear on Gaea only with a few minor changes. He had on a pair of tight, coffee-colored, soft, leather pants and a semi-loose white cotton sleeveless shirt. His hair was as messy as ever.
Serena looked towards the two girls and smiled.
"You did very good dressing these two. They'll fit in perfectly, maybe too perfectly. You might have to save them from the masses," She laughed. "You'll probably have to do the same for yourselves as well," she finished.
"Yeah, well, you'll be in the same predicament, chica," Alex retorted.
Three girls smiled and laughed at this.
"Alright, let's go. I feel the need to cut loose and feel some beats," Hitomi spoke as she grabbed a hold of Van's hand again and began walking out of the room.
"Right, come on, Dilly. Let's go," Alex cheered as she pulled him along behind her
"Dilly?" Dilandau asked as he raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, it's cute, ain't it? That's what I'm gonna call ya," Alex laughed as she followed behind Hitomi and Van. She paused at the door and turned toward Dilandau. She eyed his face and then let go of his hand and extended her own in front of her, palm side up.
"Dilly, give me that tiara or whatever that thing is your wearing," she ordered. Dilandau looked at her and shook his head.
"No. You can dress me up in anything you want, but that stays," he said with defiance as he crossed his arms over his chest and looked down at her. She smiled at him and reached out to remove the diadem. He caught her hand by the wrist as her fingers brushed against the metal. "I said no."
She leaned toward him and brushed her lips against his while moving her hand across the belt she had forced him to wear. Once again, his brain took a holiday and he let her remove his headpiece.
"You'll get it back, don't worry," she whispered to him softly as she broke away from him. He merely stared and watched her set it down on a nearby table. She grabbed a hold of his hand again and pulled him after Hitomi and Van.
"Come on, Gaddes! We better follow them or Alex will yell at us," Serena laughed with a hint of scolding as she pulled her date along beside her.
"Ok," he replied softly.
Back in the room both Folken and Allen looked at each other.
"Those three can be scary sometimes," Allen said.
"Yes, scary as in how their attitudes change from one end of the spectrum to the next in a matter of minutes and that they can get those three to do anything they want. I feel sorry for Gaddes, he's new to the ways of women," Folken responded.
"Yeah, Serena nearly bit off my head when I told her to change, but then right after that, she was an angel."
"You realize Gaddes likes her, don't you?"
"Yes, I know, but I don't mind. He'll treat her well. I've known Gaddes for a very long time and I trust he won't hurt her."
"Good, because I believe they'll fall in love in the future," Folken said softly as he closed his book and silently walked out of the room, leaving the frizz-head to himself.

Thirst for Blood by Vixen~~ Vampire fic, obviously by the title. Brilliant. Not finished but still great. Then again, anything written by Vixen is great.
Caerné:
Original works: fictionpress.com-Thorn of a Kingdom by Poohba~~ It's a historical fic set in the Medieval/Renaissance era that is completely finished and a sequel has been started. It's a beautiful fic with so many twists and turns. Stunning, beautiful. That's all I need to say about this fic.
ff.net-Um….anything by Feye Morgan. Nuff said. Oh, one other story from the anime esca. The Hunt by ZibbelCoot~~It's a Dilandau fic but it's not your average run of the mill oc falls in Gaea and Dilly falls in love with her fic. This fic assumes he wouldn't know what love is and he fights it at first. Oh, and it's based on the movie and not the series.
Mediaminer.org-Once again, it's an esca fic. Strangers by JadedMermaid~~This one is rated NC-17 and for good reason. Yeah, blatant sex and yeah…it's not quite finished but she's working on it. All I am going to say is One Tequila, Two Tequila, Three Tequila, Floor! Yuppers, that's it.
