Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ Heart of the Dragon ❯ Intense Hormones ( Chapter 8 )
Chapter Eight: Intense Hormones
Hitomi's eyes fluttered open and she gazed into Van's. His beautiful eyes were black in the dawn's intense light. She couldn't see what he was thinking and she raised herself up on her elbows to look into his handsome face.
"Your breasts are imprinted on my chest," Van said, smiling.
"Are perverted thoughts always on your mind?" Hitomi asked smoothly, her hand caressing his strong arm muscles.
"Only about you."
Hitomi gave him a loving smile and thought about what she should say next. "I love you."
Van felt the familiar loving feelings he had for Hitomi wash through him. He kissed her lightly and ran his hands down her back. Hitomi deepened it, her tongue stroking and twirling his.
He made love to her again in the bright morning sunlight. Hitomi lost all her reason and it was quite wonderful. She told him again that she loved him and felt sadness go through her when he didn't say it back. Hadn't he heard her? Or didn't he love her anymore? She shook her head, having a silent conversation with herself and what Van felt for her. Does he only want my body now? What's wrong with him? Is he purposefully trying to hurt me?
She started when she heard a knock on the connecting door to their room. Van left her and pulled the top blanket off, walking over to the door and opening it.
Allen was standing with a blanket around his waist just like Van. They smiled at each other and laughed.
"So what are we going to do? When are we going home?" Allen asked, leaning against the doorway. He was anxious to see his sister...and Merle.
"We're probably going to go home after we say bye to Amano and Yukari. Until then, go back to sleep. Me and Hitomi are trying to watch TV."
Allen rolled his eyes saying, "Sure, whatever you want me to believe."
Van punched his shoulder hard and Allen pushed him back into his room. Van got up and jumped on him, both of them falling into Allen's room. Hitomi could hear them laughing and wanted to see what they were doing. She bounded out of bed with the last remaining blanket wrapped tightly around her.
She dashed into Allen's room and laughed, seeing Allen fly through the air and land in a heap on his bed. Van had picked him up over his shoulder and thrown him. He had to be powerful in order to pick him up.
Allen grinned and hopped off the bed, his one hand holding the sheet and the other one grabbing Van's arm. He tossed him across the room and he skidded across the white carpeting.
"Ow! My back!" Van yelped after he came to a halt on the other side of the room.
Both Allen and Hitomi burst out laughing, watching Van stand up and rub his backside.
Van growled at Allen suddenly said to Hitomi, "Aren't you supposed to attack him for hurting me? My back is burning like crazy!"
Hitomi laughed some more and walked over to Allen, slapping him on the bare back and saying, "Bad boy. No touch husband no more."
Allen laughed harder along with Hitomi, tears nearly coming to his eyes.
Van couldn't believe that what Hitomi just did hurt his feelings. He pretended he thought it was funny and smiled.
Hitomi saw the how the smile didn't reach his eyes as it always did when he grinned. Was he in pain or was it because she had hurt him?
She turned back to Allen and hit him as hard as she could in his shoulder.
"What was that for? That hurt! You hit just as hard as a man!"
Hitomi lifted her chin. "You deserve it."
Allen cocked an eyebrow at her and let it be. She apparently had a reason for hitting him so hard. He rubbed his shoulder some more.
Van couldn't help but smile at Hitomi. She had known she had hurt him and retaliated against Allen again. He took hold of Hitomi's arm and brought her into their room.
Allen closed the door after them, still wondering at why Hitomi had punched him so hard. He sat on the bed and thought some more. He had been thinking a lot lately.
Van sat down on the bed and immediately jumped back up, crying out at the pain. Hitomi ran over to him, and turned him around. She gasped at the dark red carpet burn running down from the middle of his back and under the blanket. She pulled down the blanket and Van obligingly dropped it. Hitomi gave him a weird look.
"Males have no modesty."
Van grinned. "I know."
"Of course you do!"
Van chuckled and turned around to pull Hitomi into his arms. She kissed his chin, but she didn't put her arms around him because of his back.
Van pulled up the blanket he had dropped and put it about his back so Hitomi could put her arms around him. She was still afraid to touch him and her hands felt as light a butterfly's wings.
"Do you want me to kill Allen?"
"Why would you want to kill me?" Allen asked in good humor through the now open door and went over to Van, slapping his back. Van sucked in his breath and arched his back, his hand covering the area Allen had slapped him. It stung like crazy and Van snarled at him.
Hitomi let go of Van, a dangerous look in her eyes.
Allen's smile disappeared off his face and he went to turn around and run back into his room, but Hitomi jumped on him. He fell with her clinging to his back and he started laughing when she pounded on his back as hard as she could. Van surveyed the scene with hilarity and burst out laughing.
Hitomi turned around and glared at him. She realized why they were both laughing and she gasped in anger. She was straddling his back!
Allen kept laughing and turned over, pinning Hitomi under his back. She yelled in frustration when she saw Van bent over and gasping for air from laughing so hard. She started kicking out with her legs and hit Allen in the stomach a good three times before he got up and stood, trying to suck in air and not laugh at the same time.
She stood and took a deep angry breath. Van stopped laughing immediately when he saw Hitomi's blanket fall clear to the floor. She screeched and bent down to pick it up, her face flaming.
Hitomi stayed crimson even after Allen assured her that he hadn't seen anything and in truth he hadn't. He had been bent over trying to regain his breath, and hadn't even seen her legs. Van got upset when he noticed how embarrassed his wife was and pushed a reluctant Allen out of his room.
"But what am I going to do in the meantime?" he complained.
"Go take a shower," Hitomi mumbled from under a pile of blankets. She had covered herself and hadn't even let Van try to persuade her out from under them.
Van's cover slipped from around his back and he let it slid down to his waist. He saw the confused look Allen gave the mound in the bed.
"What's a shower?" he asked, his head sticking out of the doorway.
Van sighed. "Whenever Hitomi shows me how to use whatever it is, I'll show you. Now go away before my wife dies from embarrassment."
"But I didn't see anything!!!" he protested and Van shoved him through the doorway, slamming the door. He grimaced when he closed the door, the movement making the burn on his back sting even worse than it already was.
He walked over to the bed trying to stand up straight but he ended up walking like a hunched over old man. He sat gingerly on the bed and rubbed what he thought was Hitomi's back under the covers. "You can come out now. Allen's gone."
Hitomi shook her head no and Van felt the small movement. "What's wrong? He didn't see anything, Hitomi. He's really upset thinking that he just ruined your friendship with him. I would advise you come out from under there and tell me how to use whatever a "shower" is. Come on, it's all right. He's not here."
Hitomi knew that she was acting beyond ridiculous, but she couldn't help it. Allen said that he hadn't seen anything, but what if he was lying and he had seen something? She felt herself blush even more and she lifted the blanket over her head so Van could only see her eyes.
"There's my beautiful girl," Van said and pulled her to his side.
Hitomi smiled but brought it back over her head. "I'm sorry."
"Whatever for?" Van asked in a prim voice. He heard Hitomi giggle under the blankets.
"For acting the way I am," she mumbled. She felt the blush die down but she still didn't come out.
"Hey, all that matters is that you defended me," Van said and went on. "I didn't expect you to literally almost kill him!"
Hitomi smiled and lifted the covers over her head again. She cherished the tender smile on his face. "I love you," she whispered, staring into his eyes.
Van's soft smile was replaced by a normal one and he kissed her cheek. "So what about this shower business? What is it in the first place?"
"Like a warm...rain shower."
"So it's a bath that comes down from the sky?"
"No, silly!! You'll see as soon as I get my butt off the bed."
Van crawled off the bed and stood by it, his hand holding up the blanket. He acknowledged how much hotter it was getting out and he walked over to the small balcony. He tried to open the glass door but it wouldn't budge. "Stupid door. Open!"
"Push it to the side," Hitomi said next to him. He jumped because he hadn't noticed her beside him. He moved it over and closed his eyes when the soft warm breeze floated in. He wondered why the air didn't smell as clean as it did on Gaea and he expressed it to Hitomi.
"Pollution. Our world is being destroyed from it."
Van looked out the window and stepped onto the balcony. The floor was concrete and the railing was white metal with a wooden arm rest on the top. He couldn't believe how absurd it looked but he didn't say anything. Small pots of blood red flowers sat in the corners, offering a better smell to the unclean air.
Hitomi looked out over the town, noticing how much it had grown during her lifetime. Tons of skyscrapers and other large buildings touched the light blue cloudless sky. She could see the cars even from the seventh story balcony buzz by on the highways far away. They were in a quieter area of the city and she couldn't hear the annoying noise from the inner city.
She looked over to Van and saw how engulfed he was in looking at the city. She walked away and into the small completely white bathroom. She saw a pile of white fluffy towels on a rack on the wall and the sink sitting next to it. There was a bunch of free sample stuff sitting on the side of the sink, but she didn't bother with looking at them. She saw Van come in behind her and she showed him the shower. It had blurred glass sliding doors and the inside was a white plastic. A few small shampoo and conditioner bottles sat in the corners. She told him how to turn it on and adjust the temperature to whatever he wanted.
Van nodded and walked out, the blanket trailing behind him like a wedding gown. She smiled at the image and dropped her own blanket, hopping into the shower and turning the water on to as hot as it would go. She frowned when it got cold suddenly but then it went back to nearly scalding. She grabbed a hold of one of the small bottles and poured some into her hands. She lathered it through her hair and sighed at the clean feeling.
Van came in a short time later and saw the blurry figure of Hitomi's body. He got his patented wicked look on his face and opened the sliding glass door.
Hitomi opened her eyes and promptly got shampoo in them. She wiped it as best she could out of her eyes before Van came in and pulled her against him.
"Van, I'm quite blinded right now, if you could just temporarily let go of me."
Van grinned, letting her go. She cupped her hands, filling them with the hot water and splashing it in her face. It felt immediately better.
She gave Van a sinful look when she saw how his hair was plastered to his head and swept back. "You look mouthwatering."
Van pretended he hadn't heard that and tried to stay away from her. She kept giving him longing looks and he grabbed the soap out her hands and washed himself harder than necessary.
Hitomi had no idea what Van was going through and she kept taunting him in unbelievable ways. Her breasts brushed his chest when she reached for the conditioner and he stiffened, backing away from her and hitting the wall. He said in his mind, "I will not jump on her, I will not ravish her, I will not touch her...."
She poured the conditioner into her hands and washed her hair slowly, her fingers twirling it. Van watched every movement she made and kept repeating the litany of words he had made up. She started to rinse it from her hair and she closed her eyes, running her hands down her body to get the oily conditioner off, but that wasn't the reason she was doing it. She felt hands go around her waist and she opened her eyes.
Van tugged her gently into his arms and his hands went directly to her breasts, his hands curving around them and tracing around her nipples, feeling them harden at the attention. He leaned down and kissed her hard, his body and mind in turmoil. She stood up on her tiptoes, fitting herself more tightly against him, her arms around his neck.
He had his hands all over her, the water from the shower washing off the conditioner in her hair and making her body even more slippery. He lifted her up, fitting her legs around his waist.
She gasped and her arms tightened around him. He rained kisses all over the column of her neck, his tongue playing with the fast beating pulse in the hollow of her throat. She moaned, gripping either side of his head. His hands went back down her body, grabbing hold of her hips to lift her higher in his arms so he could have better access to her lips.
She opened her eyes, realizing that they had been closed the whole time. Van lifted his head from torturing the pulse in her throat and pecked her on the lips three times, each one longer than the last until he forced open her mouth, kissing her long and slow.
Her fingers squeezed his shoulders. He unlocked his lips from hers and drew in a ragged breath. She stroked the hair plastered to his face to behind his ears.
Without warning he came into her and she moaned again, throwing her head back. He pushed her against the wall so his hands could have more freedom to rove her body.
Hitomi's legs hugged him, her hands frantic on his chest and arms. She leaned closer and sprinkled kisses all over his face, shoulders, and chest. She let her tongue slip out of her mouth to increase the treat to the point that it made him groan.
He lifted her chin and kissed her gently, his tongue soft and light in her mouth. She returned his kisses with enthusiasm and she squeezed him harder.
"Ah, no," he groaned. "Don't move." Just as soon as he said it, she pressed her breasts against him and her muscles clenched around him. She stiffened, a cry leaving her throat. He went with her, all coherent thought escaping his mind. He felt her quiet after a long moment and her legs slip away from his hips. He lifted her up in his arms somewhat sluggishly, turning around and shutting off the water. He pushed open the sliding glass door and saw a pile of white towels sitting on a rack on the wall. He grabbed one, pulling it off and bringing it into the shower. He dried a half unconscious Hitomi off as best as he could and wrapped her up, carrying her over to the bed and laying her down. She was already fast asleep.
He smiled and kissed her cheek, watching her a moment before he went back into the bathroom to dry off with his own towel.
He dressed in the same clothes because he didn't have anything else to wear. He was drying off his hair when he walked negligently into Allen's room without knocking. Allen waved him over to the bed to watch TV. His hair was still wet and it hung down his back in strings. He only had his pants on.
He picked up the phone next to Allen's bed and asked for room service, just like Hitomi had. He ordered some food and hung it up, sitting on the bed next to Allen. He hadn't felt tired till now and his eyes closed. If he kept making love to Hitomi like he was, he would be tired all the time. The thought brought a smile to his face before he drifted off.
Allen let his friend sleep until the food came. He shook his shoulder and Van opened his eyes, annoyed that someone had woken him up. When he smelled food, he instantly forgot the reprimand that came to his mouth.
He got up and dished some food onto his plate and sat back down on the bed. They ate in silence watching whatever ridiculous show Allen had on. Hitomi came in a short time later, her hair dried. She had changed into a short black skirt that showed off her gloriously long and shapely legs, and a light blue, half see-through shirt. Van was upset at first because Allen was gaping at her like a delicious piece of food, but he grinned whenever she came over and sat by him, her head resting on his shoulder and her hand fisting in his shirt above his heart. She fell asleep almost as soon as she had come in.
"Missed you?" Allen asked, grinning.
Van smoothed back her hair from her forehead and kissed her hair. He looked at Allen, a small grin on his face. "I've got her hooked on me."
Allen raised his eyebrow, wondering what he meant. It could mean several different things, or all of them. "As in...?"
Van just smiled. Let him think what he wanted. Hitomi loved him and no matter what happened, she would still love him. He stared off into space, realizing then that he had never told her that he loved her. He could have kicked himself. Instead, he cursed.
Allen gave him a weird look and scooped more food into his mouth. He watched the strange expressions cross Van's face. What was he thinking?
They laid there for an hour waiting for Hitomi to wake up. When she did, it was about three o'clock. She didn't notice Allen sitting right next to them and wrapped her arm around Van's waist, pressing herself against his side. He sucked in his breath and looked sharply over at Allen. He was engulfed in the TV.
"Don't do that again," Van scolded. She got a hurt look in her eyes and she looked down, ashamed. He felt bad as soon as he said it and he kissed her softly, telling her sorry with his kiss. She hooked her arms around him and jerked him down. He turned over on top of her, kissing her harder and running his hand down her side to graze her breast.
"Please don't make love right in front of me."
Both Van and Hitomi looked over suddenly at Allen and Van took his hand away from her breast, untangling his legs from Hitomi's and sitting up.
"Thank you. Now if you're so in the mood, please find a different room."
Hitomi sat up and surprisingly didn't blush. Then she remembered earlier in that day and grabbed Van, rolling onto the floor. She landed on top of him and smiled.
Van grimaced. He couldn't help it because of the carpet burn on his back. He noticed Hitomi saw it and she yanked him up, turning around and pulling up his shirt.
"Van, you torture yourself."
"What? It's not my fault!"
"You could have asked for some burn cream!"
She walked out of the room and returned a few moments later.
"Wait a few minutes. Room service is going to bring some up."
Allen grinned all the while. He smiled even more whenever Van kept frowning at Hitomi for treating him like a child.
Hitomi knew Van was upset with her for treating him like a baby. She knew it hurt him and didn't understand why he kept frowning at her for trying to take care of him. She smiled inwardly. She would make him feel better when she dragged him in their room and put the burn cream on his back.
There was a knock on the door and she got up and answered it. The same young man as before handed her two small packets and she thanked him, closing the door.
Allen didn't say anything to the look Hitomi gave Van when she pulled him into their room, shutting the door after them.
She sat him on the bed, and he pulled off his shirt.
Hitomi felt only a small spurt of anger go through her when she saw the small cuts against the dark red skin. "Do you want me to try to kill Allen again?"
Van smiled briefly and waited for Hitomi to administer to him. She ripped open the small packet and squeezed the cool white cream into her hands.
The strong muscles in his back flexed when her hands rubbed in the cream. She barely touched him in fear of hurting him. Her touch was more like a caress and Van felt his agitation go away fast.
She saw Van close his eyes and wondered if it was helping any. An evil smile appeared on her face for the thousandth time that day and she finished rubbing in the cream. Van turned around wondering what she was doing and she pretended to open the other packet. When he turned back around she lifted her shirt over her head and unhooked her bra that was a hundred times too small.
Van nearly jumped a mile when he felt Hitomi press her soft breasts against his upper back. She moved around and pushed her body contra his back. He tried not to groan. She ran her hands slowly down his chest and he jerked around so fast it startled her. He pressed her up his length and his eyes widened when he felt her hand run down to his flat stomach. She hesitated, wondering what she should do. He decided to shock her and put her hand on the hard bulge in his pants. Her eyes went large and her mouth opened as if to say something, but nothing came out and she closed it. She tightened her hold on him and he moaned, gripping her shoulders and gritting his teeth.
She was totally fascinated at the heat radiating from him, and even more surprised at how huge he was. She had never really gotten a chance to explore his body for he was always too enthusiastic and wanted her too much. She stroked her hand over him and he jerked, moaning again. He buried his face in her hair and wrapped his arms around her. His harsh breathing turned into short gasps and she pressed her breasts against him, her fingertips doing unspeakable things to him. She grinned and her hand went to the button on his pants. She was about to push them down when she heard a knock on the door. She looked up into Van's face and almost cried.
She gave him a small smile and scrambled off the bed, and pulling on her shirt, went to answer the door. She saw Van get off the bed and run into the bathroom, slamming the door behind him.
"Yes?" Hitomi asked Allen when she opened the door.
"Where's Van?"
"In the bathroom, why?"
"Uh, I don't know how he found us, but Amano is here."
Hitomi blinked and she remembered again earlier this morning. Her hands went up to her cheeks when she started to turn red.
Allen gave her a confused look and realized that she was still embarrassed about this morning. "Hitomi, you know I didn't see anything."
She nodded and closed the door in his face. He raised his hand to knock again but gave it up. Amano was sitting on the bed and he was changing the channel to the satellite TV.
Hitomi knocked on the door to the bathroom and opened it when no one answered. He was sitting on the floor, his knees brought up and his arms resting on them. He was staring blankly at the floor.
She touched his shoulder and he jerked away as if he had been scalded. She tried to touch him again and he moved away again saying in a dull voice, "Don't touch me."
She didn't know why she felt tears come to her eyes and she blinked them back. "What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?"
He turned away from her, ignoring her. She felt intense pain fill her and she ran from her room, bursting into Allen's. He looked up and climbed off the bed when he saw tears streaming down her face. She went into his arms and she bawled on his shoulder.
He stood there confused, not knowing what was happening. "What happened? Did Van hurt you?"
Her fingers got tangled in his soft blonde hair and she tried to quiet down, but it was inevitable. Why was Van acting like that? What did she do?
"I don't know what happened."
Amano saw how upset she was and motioned to Allen that he was going to go talk to Van. He found him sitting on the small bathroom floor, his arms resting on his knees. He was muttering something to himself and looked up when he saw Amano.
"What do you want?" Van asked harshly, not at all surprised he was there. Amano already had a pissed off look on his face and he picked Van up by his shirt and slammed him against the wall. Van went to punch him in the face but Amano said, "What did you do to her?"
Van blinked and his arm fell to his side. "What do you mean?"
"She is right now in Allen's room crying her heart out in his arms. What did you do to her? Did you hurt her?"
Van snorted and pushed Amano away from him. He didn't know why he was acting the way he was. If anything, he should be the one crying. He stalked out of the bathroom and into Allen's room, Amano following behind him.
Allen's head lifted. He was rocking her back and forth, his hand stroking the hair on her head. Her left hand was holding onto his shirt and the other one was in his hair. Intense jealously flared through Van, remembering how they had both been in love and how they had shared that kiss on the bridge. He wanted to rip them apart but he felt something move inside him when he heard Hitomi's heart wrenching sobs.
He ordered Allen silently with his motioning hand to give her to him. For a second he pulled her tighter against him in a protective gesture. However he gently pushed her into his arms when he saw the mean look in his eyes. Would he hurt her again? Although he knew he loved Hitomi, Van had both a gentle and a violent streak through him. He knew if Van did hurt her again, he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. If it was Van's wish, he could have her beaten within an inch of her life.
Hitomi was so hysterical that she didn't even know it was Van lifting her up in his arms and carrying her back into their room. If she had known she would have fought him and attacked him to her best ability.
He put her on the bed and laid next to her, just holding her. He rubbed his hands up and down her back to try to comfort her. He smiled tenderly and uttered the only words that he knew would make her stop crying. "I love you."
Hitomi stopped in mid-wail and raised her tear filled eyes to his face. A watery smile appeared on her face. "Say it again."
"I love you, Hitomi. I love you more than anything on Gaea and Earth put together. I love you more than life itself. I'm so sorry for hurting you, I don't know why I did that. I guess you could call it temporary male insanity, especially after what you did to me. My brain must not have been working."
Hitomi laughed nervously and hugged him hard. He acted like it hurt him and she thought it really did. She pulled back and smacked his chest at the silly grin on his face. She kissed it off his face and wondered why he didn't kiss her back like he always did. He just pushed her back down and rested his chin on top of her head. They laid there, just holding each other.
Allen cracked open the door and saw Van and Hitomi lying on the bed together just talking. He hoped everything was alright. He heard Van say something about a very long leave of absence and he smiled, closing the door.
