Vision Of Escaflowne Fan Fiction ❯ I hate you ... My love .. ❯ The nightmare of a lifetime! ( Chapter 6 )
I know you're going to kill me after, so I am already apologising. I suck at writing, and especially I suck at writing fight-scenes, so don't sue me. No one is perfect, and I sure commit a lot of mistakes (like everyone else on this planet, and I'm referring to Earth!)
So, now that I'm done wit apologising and stupid excuses, lets get to the point, that I most hate, the Disclaimer.
Disclaimer: So, I don't, and I will jamais own Escaflowne, none of the originals belong to me. I'm including the characters that appear on the shows, mangas or movie.
But, and as always, I do own all the characters I've created (a lot of people, really), and I won't mention them this time, because, if you're already reading this chapter, you're supposed to know them all.
And along with the story:
I hate you … my love
Chapter 6: The way I suck at fights! (Joking) the title is: The nightmare of a lifetime (I'm referring to Hitomi's visions and you'll understand as soon as you get to the real story line, now MOVE)
Fanelia! A peaceful and quiet country! It was the beginning of a new day, a normal and silent shine rise, or maybe not!
The whole Palace awoke at the sound of a loud scream. A scream they hadn't heard for years. A scream of fear, from the legendary girl from the Mystic Moon.
"Sh! Everything is ok now!" - her husband tried, in vain, to calm her down. Soon the door crack open, as their friends came in to see what had happened.
What happened? Who's dying?" - Farge asked as she came in with her husband following right behind.
"She just had a nightmare!" - Zardus said as he cherished Hitomi, who was holding him close and crying her eyes out on his chest.
"It wasn't a dream! I'm sure of it!"
"You think it was a vision?" - Merle asked, as she too came in the room. Hitomi nodded sadly.
"What did you see?" - Van asked from a dark corner of room that was now full of people.
"The city is going to be attacked soon!" - they looked shocked at hearing the news. All of them, new that Hitomi's predictions weren't a bluff, they had never been.
"Who the Hell could have the stupid idea of attacking Fanelia?" - Kamatary asked.
"I don't know, but one thing I'm sure of! They'll attack today and they'll come from the Mystic forest! (The one on the outskirts of Fanelia) - after saying this, she hide her head on her hands and started crying once again.
"I'm not letting anyone destroy my country again! We'll wait for them on the forest! That way, they won't be able to get near the city!" - Van ran off the room and into his chambers, to get properly dressed.
The others did the same, as they knew t«it was better to leave Zardus and Hitomi alone for a while.

"Poor Hitomi! Having visions again, after all these years!" - Merle said as she and Seico entered their private quarters.
"Mommy? What was that all about?" - Mena asked as soon as they came in.
"Yeh mommy! Who squeamed? (she means 'screamed' but she is too young and can't say it correctly)" - asked Kitty, the younger of their daughters.
"It was Hitomi! She just had a bad dream!" - Merle knew it was better not to tell the truth, after all they were little kids.
"She needs someone to tell her a bedtime story before she goes to sleep!" - their other child, Malina, said. Merle and Seico laughed together.
"You're probably right!" - Seico said as he picked her up on the air.

"You know what to do! Don't fail me, or they'll be the ones to suffer the consequences!" - she was already enough angry, but he expected to increase it even more. He expected her to kill the all on this first attack, when they were not expecting any of it.
Fanelia, as all the other countries, was now very peaceful. None was ready for war, at least not without a warning.
She didn't reply any of his words, neither could she.
A part of her, told her not to do it, but what choice did she had? Or she killed, or she let her own children to be killed. And for her, they were more important than anything. If he had asked her to kill everyone in Gaea, she would do it just to save them. Just to make sure they were safe, and away from this monster grasp.
She was very sure, that he would not let her go after she did the job, but she had no choice. And how mush she wished to have it. One where no one died, and were she could get back to his arms. The arms of the one she loved so mush.
His image vanished from her mind. If needed, she would kill him too. Although that was the most painful thing she could ever be forced to do.
Even the suffering Luktor caused her, wasn't a deep or painful as what she would have to do.
She had to forget who she was, and whom she was supposed to kill, or she wouldn't make it.
He had given her the 'honour' of commanding his army. (How she appreciated it!)
She was the first of the Guymelefs, who left the fort. How did no one ever notice what they were planning? How people can be blind sometimes!
The other Guymelefs (almost a thousand of them), fallowed her lead.
Almost all the guymelefs were grey, only hers was red, red of blood.
They weren't very advanced in technology, no becoming invisible, no flying, just ordinary Guymelefs who won in number.
They were almost three times more than the Fanelia army. That was enough advantage!
Her mind was far away, flying to ancient memories, she now wished to forget. And hat was when they found an obstacle they didn't expect to.
"I believe you don't come to say Hello?" - she knew that Guymelef well enough. It was Escaflowne, and inside was the King of Fanelia.
Behind him was his entire army of Guymelefs, ready for battle.
"Sir, I-I believe we have a problem!" - one of the soldiers contacted Luktor.
"What is it now?" - Luktor asked enraged.
"I believe, that somehow, they knew of our attack!"
"Nonsense! No one would betray me!"
"In case you're wondering how the hell we knew of your arrival … let's just say that the Gods are on my side!" - Van said before anyone else tried to answer.
"Well! That won't be a problem! KILL THEM ALL!" - Luktor yelled through the intercommunicator.
He didn't need to say it twice! His Guymelefs started attacking the Fanelian ones, without mercy.
But there were others who didn't move and inch.
"What are you waiting for? Afraid, are you?" - Van teased he one in front of him.
Memientes laughed under hiss words and closed her eyes tight, before deciding to attack.
No word came out from the red Guymelef as he attacked Escaflowne with all his strength.
Van blocked it, noticing that this wasn't a simple soldier. This was a warrior!
By the might of his attacks, Van was impressed he was even on his feet.
Zardus, Soru, Ureshiu, Sotski, Drid, Kamatary, were also fighting, each one on his own Guymelef.
Even being in greater number, Luktor's army was having mush difficulty dealing with Fanelia. For that reason, many were already on the floor.
Although they were protecting Fanelia, Van's army had strict orders not to kill anyone. On the other hand, Luktor's had strict orders to not let anyone alive.
Luktor could not have that mush of technology, but there was one thing he had, the teletransportation engine.
Soon, Luktor's Guymelefs (the ones who were already defeated) got back to the fortress, to be repaired. Not in time for this battle, but for the next one.
#Returning to Escaflowne#
Memientes was definitely with all the advantage. Her attacks were mush stronger than Van's, and Van knew that he wouldn't last mush more.
As he heard nothing coming from the other Guymelef, he though that maybe it was controlled by distance. He didn't knew how, but it was the only explanation he had.
After another attack, Van attacked her from the right; she moved her sword, from left, making its blade touch the ground, giving mush more impulse to her attack. She blocked Van's attack, sending his sword away from Escaflowne's hands, and Escaflowne fell hard on the ground.
Before Van could get up, the other aimed her sword at Van's head (well, Escaflowne's head to be more precise)
Van swallowed hard, as his sword was out f his reach and he saw that he had no way of escaping.
"DIE!" - it was the first time that Van heard her voice, and it sounded so very familiar.
He watched as the Guymelef took the sword above his head and than charged at Escaflowne's.
But that was not meant to be. Van watched amazed, as the other Guymelef fell backwards, after being stopped by Zardus, right before touching Escaflowne.
Soon Escaflowne was on its feet again, and reached for his sword.
"You'd better give up! You'll ever win this battle!" - Zardus said as he prepared for another attack.
"Maybe not the battle, but the war shall be ours!" - and so, Memientes disappeared as all the other Guymelefs.
Zardus and Van looked at each other, am zed when they noticed that their worst enemy … was a woman.
Am I, or am I not a bad writer? Bad, ad, worst that bad! Anyway, hope you got the idea and of course, I hope you enjoyed it. See you next time.
Don't forget to review!
