::Synopsis::

Five years has passed since Van and Hitomi last met. Hitomi has given up hope of Van ever returning, and Van has spent the last five years waiting for the time he could return to her! Hitomi has now started her life over without her dreams for a life with Van, so how will she react when he reappears just as she has accepted another's offer of marriage?? ((Ok I know is bad summary, we can't all be geniuses))

Hey there! I am premiering my first ever fan fiction! I have only been reading Fan fictions for a short time but have been very impressed with some of the authors out there!

I have now been inspired to write my very own fiction because I was damn well disappointed with Escaflowne's ending!! I am always open to feed-back so don't be shy!! R&R to your hearts content!

Would like to send out an apology and special thanx out to Eidolon Griffin, and Mackyfor being my first reviewers on my original posting of this story entitled A Promise.

Due to posting problems I had to delete it from the system and repost it under this name (the Promise)!! If you guys are still out there I hope you are enjoying my stuff so far!
