Title: Daylight Utopia
Pairings: None in this chapter, though I have a few ideas for later. There will be bother Yaoi and Het throughout this story.
Warnings: Spoilers for the series and Gluhen, though not too much just now at least. Other than that, for the moment there's..nothing to warn you about at all actually.
"Ja? Sind Sie gut?" She sat up a little more and moved to sit next to the older man on the couch, her eyebrows furrowed with concern.
"Soviel wie, erwartet werden kann. Sie gut?" She nodded and kissed him on the forehead before standing up, ignoring the tear tracks down her cheeks as she stared toward the window.
"Sie zahlen für was sie taten, ja?" She glanced toward the jade-eyed man, who merely nodded as he sat up, a dark, dangerous look in his eyes as he stood next to her. "Gut." They both left the room together, ignoring the looks on the faces of those they passed save for Nagi, whom Schuldig actually looked towards and nodded, the faint glimmer of a smile in his eyes, which were otherwise darkened in anger or grief.
With that small sign of encouragement, Nagi followed the two Germans out toward the door, stopping there to speak softly, though Nagi knew it was pointless since the entire house was bugged by Mamoru himself.
"What happened there? I could feel pain and anger and sadness but..I couldn't tell any more than that." Nagi's worried blue eyes moved back and forth between the two of them.
"He's dead, Nagi. Derrick was found by the same people and when he was trying to get away from them, they killed him. We...we're at least going to get his body back." Schuldig's hand on Orchidae's shoulder squeezed gently, mourning on his own as well as for the girl who just lost both parents in less than two weeks. She shook her head slightly as if to rid herself of dark thoughts and moved to bury her face against the taller man's chest, fighting back any more tears.
Nagi himself looked shocked and upset, then reached out and stroked the girl's long dyed-black hair, though it was fading quickly already. "We'll get them. We'll bury Derrick and we'll get revenge for the both of them, okay 'Dae?" She nodded a little and pulled back from Schuldig to smile ever so faintly at Nagi before the two of them left the house, off to get her father's body and to grieve.
'We'll give you a call when we found the body so you can help us bring it back here. We want to be able to bury him beside Aya-chan. They both deserve it.' Nagi responded in a mental affirmative as he went back into the house to let the others know just what was going to happen then, and letting himself wonder idly how the telepath planned on explaining everything to the former Weiß assassins, his relationship to Aya-chan as well as a few other things.
"Well hello Crawford. And what has the illustrious former leader of Schwarz been doing lately?" Schuldig's voice was overly sweet, and entirely insincere.
"You caught me as my plane just landed. In Japan. Come pick me up at the airport, I'll be out of customs in a half hour. Then we'll deal with Sinneswechsler's death. How is his daughter?"
"She's doing alright, considering she's an orphan suddenly. She's...sleeping." Schuldig glanced at the girl, slumped in her seat in his car as he headed toward the airport now, still talking on his cellphone to the former Oracle. "Who is responsible for the lot of this?" An aggravated sigh was heard over the phone as he awaited an answer.
"I'm not positive just yet. I think it may be rogue former Esset agents, maybe a few Rosenkruz agents helping them. I have to go, see you soon." With that, the American hung up and sighed, putting his phone away and going through customs without a word more than necessary, thinking to himself of the visions he'd gotten recently about the two groups, and what it would mean.
"Brad...Are you going to help us find them?" Schuldig couldn't help but scowl; the girl was the only one that could get away with calling Oracle by his first name. Crawford looked down at the girl he was holding and couldn't fight the tender smile that came to his face, brushing back her hair.
"Of course.." She smiled and hugged Crawford again before returning to Schuldig's side. Crawford was like a second father to her; whenever she'd had to leave the country with her mother to keep the two of them safe, it had been Crawford that had taken care of the two of them. The American smiled at the girl before turning his gaze to Schuldig, looking more serious now. "We'll go get his body, bury him with Aya Fujimiya, and then we'll need to tell the rest of them about you two. We won't yet tell them of her connection to the Fujimiyas, but they'll need to know about your relationship." Orchidae and Schuldig looked at each other for a moment before nodding to Crawford and helping him to bring his things to the car so they could go find her father's body.
"I have no clue, Kenken, but stop pacing you're making me dizzy." Mamoru grinned at his partner, who blushed and smiled, then moved to sit beside him on the bed. Ran sighed as he thought of the two that had left earlier, catching the attention of the other two.
"Do you think Nagi would tell us? He likely knows where they are, after all." Mamoru thought about it for a moment before shaking his head and smiling ruefully.
"No I doubt it. Even after Scwarz broke apart for good, Nagi has always thought of his team before anything. And I can understand the sentiment." The other two understood all too well what Mamoru meant. Having spent as much time as they had killing with one another, Weiß was still very important to each of them.
Just as they were about to continue the discussion, Nagi walked into the room silently. "Orchidae and Schuldig need my help with something, and we'll explain things a little more when we come back." Without giving them a chance to ask questions he then turned and left the room, leaving the house entirely and driving out to the cemetary.
Before the others could question to themselves even, a rumpled-looking Yohji walked in, looking more than a little irritated, and they all sighed, knowing that questions were going to be asked that they didn't want to answer just yet. After all; while he may have been an ally at one point, who knows what might happen now that he didn't remember them.
"I want to know what's going on. Why was I kidnapped, and who the hell are all of you? And where are we now?" He crossed his arms, leaning against the wall and glaring at them,d aring them to deny him his answers. his emerald eyes challenging each of them.
Schuldig and Orchidae were both standing by the grave silently, Schuldig with an arm around the girl who was staring with a blank face at the unmarked grave, though her eyes were shining with emotion. It took a bit before she looked up at Schuldig and then to the other two of Schwarz, nodding once. "Let's go then." They all nodded and headed to the cars, Crawford going with Nagi merely to allow the other two some time for themselves to grieve in private over the man. They made a stop at a safehouse that all of them would stay in on occasion if the need arose, Orchidae washing the dye out of her hair, tying it back and changing her contacts to green ones. With green eyes and her hair its natural orange, only a few shades deeper than Schuldig's own, their relationship would be easy to assume.

"Orchidae... Orchidae." The girl lifted her head to look up at the orange-haired man she had been leaning against ever since she stopped crying, and both of their physical pain had left them."Ja? Sind Sie gut?" She sat up a little more and moved to sit next to the older man on the couch, her eyebrows furrowed with concern.

"Come on, where are you Crawford.." Schuldig and Orchidae were standing in the airport, waiting for the former leader of Schwarz to get out of customs, sighing in relief when they finally saw him walking towards them. He stopped in front of the two of them, a frown on his face as he looked at Schuldig, and then holding out an arm to Orchidae, who went to hug him."Brad...Are you going to help us find them?" Schuldig couldn't help but scowl; the girl was the only one that could get away with calling Oracle by his first name. "Where in the hell do you think those two went?" Ken ran a hand through his hair with a frown, looking constantly back to the door the two Germans had left through over an hour ago. They were once more sitting in Mamoru and Ken's room, or at least Mamoru and Ran were sitting; Ken hadn't stopped pacing since around ten minutes ago."I have no clue, Kenken, but stop pacing you're making me dizzy." Mamoru grinned at his partner, who blushed and smiled, then moved to sit beside him on the bed. Ran sighed as he thought of the two that had left earlier, catching the attention of the other two.

The four of them got to the cemetary at the same time, sharing grim smiles as Nagi floated the body out from the trunk and toward the grave. He set the body down and used his powers to then pull the earth from the ground where they would bury the man, and once he was in the ground and covered, Nagi made sure that the ground was level and the grass in the area was laid down carefully so that no one could tell a body was there.Schuldig and Orchidae were both standing by the grave silently, Schuldig with an arm around the girl who was staring with a blank face at the unmarked grave, though her eyes were shining with emotion.
