Darkness. The all empowering, yet diminutive black abise that consumes you though leaves you whole. It encompases your sould and turnes all your fears and nightmares into reality. You never know what is lurking in the corner. Children have a right to be afraid of the dark for it is a very frightnening place.
I, on the otherhand, feel safe in the dark. It protects me and keeps me from what I fear the most. The sight of what I am doing. My fathers face scolding me to try again because I didn't bring the saticfaction requested by the customer. The fear on my mothers face that I have become a lifeless pupet. The anger on Miki's face everytime my father drags me away and locks me back in the closet. Back into the darkness that I love so much.
My father wouldn't be happy if he knew how much I loved my darkness. If he ever found out he would put me in the light instead. So I act scared when he puts me in my home. He will never know my feelings.
But now when I open my eyes I don't see my darkness. This isn't my closet where I remeber being put. This is a strange place with three strangers who keep checking on me. One keeps saying my Farther isn't here. that he won't hurt me any more. He doesn't know my father. I know he's looking for me. If he hasn't sold me then he'll find me and punish me for dissapearing. I've gotten use to this life for the past 10 years of my life. I do what he says and he treats me well. I wish Miki and Mother would understand that. They keep talking about taking me away from him. Making a new life for ourselves. Maybe they gave me over to these strangers. I should go home. Before father gets to mad at me.

Ran was up early, as usual, but instead of going to open the shop he went into his lovers room to see how he was doing. Frowning when he sees the blond man climbing out the window. "Where are you going?"
Green eyes blink back at him. Not knowing who he is but showing his surprise at someone catching him "None of your business."
"Yes it is. I've been taking care of you I want to know where you are going."
"Fine. I'm going home."
"You are home." Hearing Yohji say that he was leaving hurt. The fact he was going to leave and not tell anyone hurt more. What hurt the worst though, is the fact Yohji doesn't know what he's doing to hurt Ran. he doesn't even know who Ran is. "You belong here with me and our friends."
"Why? I don't know you and I don't know these friends. I do know that if I don't get back something will happen to Miki and my mother. I have to go back and protect them."
That was new. There was no mention before about others being in the house besides his father "Who is Miki?"
"He's my brother. Anymore questions?"
"No. No more questions." Ran turned his back on Yohji for a second "But don't go out the window. Follow me. I'll drive you 'home'"thats all he gives as an offer before he starts walking into the hall and down the stairs. Grabbing his jacket and keys before waiting to see if Yohji accepts the offer. He didn't have to wait long. A slowly walking blond creaped down the stairs watching everything around him that was lite up. making sure there was no one else around and that this wasn't a trap. Ran sighs and goes out the door leading Yohji to his precious car. opening the passange side door for the strange acting man.
Yohji eyes him as he moves outside and towards the car. Grinning and getting in the opened door. "Hurry up now. I want to make sure their all right"
With a click the car door is closed and Ran walks around to the drivers side. getting in and starting the car. Making a hastened pull out and drive towards the city exit "I believe I know where we are going. Once we get close you need to tell me what looks familiar." The farther he drives the more he wished he had told Omi or Ken they were leaving. At least he had a weapon in the trunk. Just incase. Plus he would call them when they got a hotel room in what ever city they were going to. He didn't feel like taking a not right in the head Yohji into an unknown situation.
