Warnings: warnings for violence, non-consensual sexual situations, consensual sexual situations, abuse, mind control, drug use, angst, and language. Not just cursing. I mean parts of this story are actually in another language. There will be mostly German, some French, some Gaelic, and some Japanese. All lines will be translated as they appear, so fear not, gentle readers… (and please do not write me and tell me my grammar sucks. I am just learning German).

Spoilers: For the manga "An Assassin And A White Shaman", and some rough spoilers for the series, up until the end. Vague references to Gluhen as well.

Disclaimer: I don't own these guys, and I am completely making most of this stuff up. Brad and Schu don't have official backstories, so I digress…

Author's Notes:

This story is a "What If?" based on the lives of both Bradley Crawford and the ever-mysterious and oft-debated Schuldich. It spans from their teenage years, until past the series.

One thing to note is that I changed Schuldich's age. The ages listed for Schwarz are Brad=27, Schu=22, Farf=20, and Nagi=15. However, in this story, I made Schu two years younger, so he is 20 during Weiss, not 22. Farfarello is 18, and Brad and Nagi remain the same. Okay?

Also, for reference, I am plotting the series as taking place in 2000.

I also play around a bit with what Schu can do with his powers. I think these still fall within logical perimeters of what a Level 7 telepath should be able to do, though.

Final Note: Schu's eyes are green in this story. If you are on of those people who throw things at the screen when they read that, I'm sorry. I will agree that sometimes, his eyes are quite blue. However, blue eyes on redheads make me think of my old Ariel doll, of The Little Mermaid fame. If you would like to see photographic evidence of Schu sometimes having green eyes, e-mail me and I will send them to you.
