All of Weiss stood around their computer, listening to Persia intently as he explained the mission they would endure.

"White Hunters of the Dark! Hunt the tomorrow of the Dark beasts!" Persia blipped off the screen, leaving Manx and Weiss to determine if they were all in.

"Ano, Manx-Sama…this mission seems fairly simple..are you sure were all needed?" Questioned Omi as he looked over his file.

"Hai, Omi..I asked the same question to Persia. He wanted all of you to go on this one."

Manx walked over to Ken to hand him his file, and she studied his face. "Ken Daijoubu?"

Ken glanced up from his file as he read over it and nodded at Manx, before returning to his previous activity.

"Ne..Manx, ignore him..He hasn't been the same sense he stopped seeing his love interest." Said Yohji nonchalantly. Ken tensed at Yohji's words and gently closed his file.

"Hai, Manx..I'm in.." Said Ken quietly.

"Good..and the rest of you..?" Manx peered around at the different faces.

"Well, seeing as how we don't have much of a choice. I'm in as well." Proclaimed Yohji as he smoothly put his arm around Manx. Manx tensed and pinched Yohji's arm, causing him to quickly with draw from her shoulders. "..I…itai…Moi! She's got nails!" Yohji gently rubbed where Manx had made her infliction on his skin.

"Hai, Manx..I'm in as well.." Said Aya quietly in the midst of everything.

"Like wise!" Came Omi's cheery voice as he stood next to Aya who practically towered over him.

"Good, I wish you all a successful mission, White Hunters." Manx slowly walked up the stairs and out the way she came.

"Is it just me..or dose something not feel right about this mission..?" Questioned Yohji as he glanced over his file one more time. The silence he received back as an answer indicated he wasn't the only one feeling the uneasiness.

Zeva slipped her long slender fingers into her black leather gloves that ended at her knuckles. She gave each leather glove a good jerk before snapping them into place on her hand. Images of the night before last ran through her head, and she found it odd that the stab wound she and endured had been so small but she was grateful it hadn't effected her performance up until now. She slipped into her assassin clothing, a black sleeveless shirt lined her sternum and simple black pants lined her long legs, her leather trench coat covering the rest of her. Steel-toed black boots embraced her feet and her silver cross-hung gently around her neck. Once she was done dressing herself, she diligently began to tightly braid back her long hair, and just as she finished a gentle tapping was heard on her door. Zeva quickly fastened her long hair at the end and ran to the door.

"Who is it..?"

A soft female voice came from the other side in response "Manx.."

Zeva opened the door for Manx, and stepped out of the way to allow her through. "Kon-Ban..Manx-Sama."

"Kon-Ban, Zeva" Manx handed her a file. "Are you ready for tonight?"

Zeva took the file and nodded to Manx. "Hai, Manx-Sama. I just need to arm myself with my weapons. Then I'll be ready."

"Good, I'll be coming along with you on this Mission. But you'll be doing the work, I'll merely be observing you through the communicator." Zeva nodded her head in agreement, she then rotated on her heel to walk back to her bedroom where her weapons were located. She skillfully placed each one where they hidden, yet easily accessible. She slowly walked back to the living room where Manx stood, arms folded waiting for her. The shadows skillfully hiding Zeva for a moment before she unveiled herself into the dim light of the room. Her eyes set, there color amethyst as her mind slowly began to adjust the proper attitude and stamina she would need for this night. Manx looked at her and shivered lightly.

"Nani, Manx-Sama?"

"You…"

"Nani..?"

"It's erie..how much you could pass off as Aya's sibling when your eyes are like that.." Zeva chuckled lightly.

"Well..I've never been close enough to Aya to be able to agree or disagree with you or not."

Manx studied Zeva's face diligently for a moment. "Your eyes are what really set it off..but other than that..you look like someone I work with from time to time."

"Who's that?"

"Her name is Berman..that's all you need to know."

Zeva's attention was drawn away from Manx as she looked down to see her Calico kitten rubbing in-between her legs, she slowly bent down and gently picked up her kitten to cuddle it next to her face. "Ne, Meko..I'll be back soon.." She gently put her kitten back down the ground and watched it scamper off to chase after a piece of string that caught the neko's attention. Manx smiled lightly at Zeva as she watched the cat scurry off.

"Are you ready? Calico..?"

Zeva's eyes shifted up to Manx and she smiled gently "Hai.."

Zeva stood stalk still in the shadows, her breathing light. She positioned herself against the brick building of which she assumed her target would infiltrate soon. A chill wind ripped through her body, everything was still and steady as she listened intently to the lingering silence of the night. Manx was about a mile off from where she stood, far from any danger, which is the way Zeva wanted it.

"Calico, how is everything looking…?" Manx had blipped in on Zeva's concentration once again.

"Steady, quite, still, dark. Your typical night setting.." Said Zeva sarcastically.

"Good..inform-"

"Inform you if anything changes, I know Manx. You don't need to worry, I may be new but I'm not stupid." Zeva didn't get a response back from Manx, she figured that was a good thing and leaned against the building lightly, and sighed. She hadn't been waiting long, but she was more than anxious to fight, and fight well. She shifted her vision slightly to look up at the moon, as she stared into its silvery luminescence her vision became slightly distorted. She blinked slightly and took her eyes off the moon and put them back on the shadows of the earth, but her vision didn't clear.

"Nani…what's going on?" She suddenly felt a sharp jabbing in her mind, and she fell to one knee her hands clasped around her head, but the pain only intensified. "..I..itai…Kuso! IT HURTS! This pain isn't normal!" She screamed inside her head. She clasped her hands tighter around her head, she shook her head from side to side in agony. She finally fell to both her knees and arched her back and screamed in sheer uncontrollable pain, before she blacked out face down on the ground.

On the other side of the communicator, the scream and transmitted on Manx's side of the line.

"Zeva! Nani! What's wrong?! ZEVA! ANSWER ME!" Manx only got static on the other side of the line, mixed with light breathing. "Zeva! I know your there! Answer me now!"

Zeva slowly woke up, with her face implanted in cold cement. She positioned her arms to the side of her, and gently pushed herself up. As she woke up, she could hear Manx screaming at her from the other side of the communicator. Zeva slowly stood up and gripped the communicator with her left hand and sent her final transmission to Manx.

"Urasai.." Zeva gripped the communicator and lifted it off her head. She could still hear Manx on the other side as she looked down at the electronic device that she now held in her glove covered hand. She smirked as she looked down at it, and slowly closed her hand around device, before she inflicted her complete strength upon it. She crushed the communicator in a simple squeeze, the electricity that ran through the wires now circled around her hand, sending a slight numbing feeling through her arm. She carefully tilted her hand, and let the now obliterated Communicator fall to the ground in tiny fragments.

On the other end of the line, Manx suddenly heard the line go to static and die completely. "Zeva! Kuso!" Manx through down her communicator, frustrated with Zeva's actions. She quickly picked up her phone and dialed the only number to reach Persia directly.

"Moshi Moshi.."

"Persia-Sama!"

"Manx…?"

"Hai! It's Calico, something's wrong…"
