"Ne..Yohji-Kun. It feels a little weird going on a mission without Omi…doesn't it?" Ken spoke as he clenched his fist, his bugnucks quickly protruding out, and the tips gleaming against the dim bedroom light. Yohji slipped into his navy blue jacket, zipping it up as he tucked his wire into place before facing Ken who sat on the edge of his bed.

"Yeah, it does..but I believe Kym will pull us threw." Ken sighed and released his hand, his weapons slipping back into place.

"I just hope wherever Omi is, he's safe."

"He can handle himself easily enough." Yohji placed a reassuring hand on Ken's shoulder, before noticing the shadowy figure of Aya lingering in the doorway.

"I take it you're ready to go, Abyssinnian." Yohji's voice as deep and serious as he examined the firm image of the strong leader that stood in his midst.

"Wait, what about the Schwartz boy? Nagi." Ken rose from the bed to stand beside Yohji, and watched as Aya's expression darkened against the still shadows.

"Don't worry about Him..he's been taken care of." Aya showed his back to the two men.

"Hey! What do you mean by that, Aya?" Ken's voice was stern and concerned, but he got a still response, silence the only answer. "Aya!" Ken clenched his fists together, but his tension loosened as Yohji placed his hand on Ken's shoulder.

"Easy, Siberian." Yohji whispered gently into Ken's ear, as they slowly made there way out into the hall after Aya with Kym waiting downstairs for their arrival.

Aya snuck through the shadows, Kym by his side for he dare not let her out of his site for obvious reasons. As the "leader" he felt he held some kind of responsibility over her, that and if she had been left with Yohji he might of forgotten about his mission and gone off into his usual scheme with the opposite sex and Ken was no good either. Though Ken was dedicated in his work like the rest and highly dependable as well as an astounding fighter, it didn't over ride the fact of when it came down to it, he could be very easily distracted by even the gleam of his own bugnucks. Or at least, this was Aya's reasoning for demanding Kym be with him on the mission. Quietly they both approached the main office headquarters, dim florescent lights casting sickly pale shadows across the stretched gray walls, the constant buzzing of the single overhead light filling their ears. It was empty.

"Something…doesn't feel right.." Kym spoke softly, her voice shaky with uneasiness while Aya stayed silent, studying the room only to see a small puddle of blood spilt onto the ground. His eyes widened as he noticed a smeared trail leading to the back of the desk.

"Kym, come here." Aya walked forward to the desk, Kym trailing him where they found the body of a dead man brutally stuffed under his desk face down.

"What in the.." Kym's eyes widened in confusion as Aya reached out a glove covered hand to the cold, bent body. He griped the shoulder of the blood soaked man and slowly turned him over, only to have a moment of panic take over when his eyes took upon the image of a bomb strapped to the man's stomach with the timer already counting down from 30 minutes. Aya froze, flashes of his parent's death skimming through his mind before the hard grip of Kym's hand on his shoulder shook him back to the present.

"Aya! Come on! We have to get out of here, NOW!" Kym jerked on Aya's shoulder to get him moving, and he quickly stood up only to have a near by explosion shake the ground they were once firmly standing on. Once the rumble stopped and the ground subsided it's shaking there came a frantic voice of Ken on Aya's communicator.

"Abyssinnian!! Yohj's not responding I think he was near the blast! I'm abounding my post to go look for him!"

"Siberian! No! You don't know if there are any more traps, Siberian!" Static was the only thing he got on the other line. Kym quickly picked herself up and grabbed Aya's wrist to help him up.

"Aya come on! I'll be damned if I let you die!" Kym jerked him to his feet and they both sprinted with their lives to try and find Yohji and Ken.

"Balinese! Balinese! Can you hear me?!" Ken frantically tried to contact Yohji as he quicken his pace through the long hallways. Finally he got a mild response, a groan followed by soft coughing. "Balinese!" Ken's fears were lifted for an instant "Is that you?"

"Ha..hai Siberian.." Yohji coughed through dust and other particles that filled the air the choked his lungs.

Ken skidded to a stop as he came around a corner to face a completely blown out section of the building, and he knew, Yohji was in there..Somewhere. "BALINESE!" Ken cupped his hands around his mouth, and listened to his voice run throughout the wreckage and bounce back at him. The scene was devastating, wires hung from the sealing, and massive slabs of cement barracked what would have been easy exits, sparks iniminated out of the wires that were sprawled onto the ground and ripped from there walls with bent and twisted metal flung about. Ken slowly made his way into the wreckage, clawing carefully through the debris, checking every piece he stepped on before putting his full weight on it. "BALINESE! Come on buddy! Talk to me! Where are you?" Ken's voice boomed throughout the place, yet still silenced reigned over his echoing voice. Ken breathed deep, releasing a heavy sigh as he continued to move over the fragments of what was left of this small portion of the building, but his senses caught something that made him freeze in fear. `gas..' the word scratched his mind with terror, and he became frantic. "BALINESE!! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!!"

"Ken..Kun…" it was soft and hardly noticeable, but ken heard it none the less.

"Balinese! Keep talking! I'll find you! Just keep talking!"

"SIBERIAN!" Aya's voice throttled the silence and Ken quickly turned to look over his shoulder at the lengthy red head that stood in the part of the hallway that was still connected. "We have to get out of here NOW! There's another bomb that's going to blow any minute!"

"We have to get Balinese out!" Ken yelled back at the leader.

"SIBERIAN!"

"I'M NOT LEAVING HIM!" Ken screamed with furry, tension filling the air along with many other things as Ken attempted to quicken his pace. "Yohji!" Ken figured he'd drop all informities, if they were going to die he'd figure Yohji would want to hear his birth name, rather than the name he took while killing or at least that's how Ken felt about it.

"Ov..er…here..Ken Ken…" Yohji tried to move only to scream in agony from shattered body parts.

"I see you! I see you Yohji! I'm almost there! Hang on!" Ken scrambled over the wreckage while Aya and Kym stood in the connected hallway. Aya stared with cold eyes out at the determined Ken, clenching his fists with fear and anger unaware the Kym looked up at him and slowly formed a glare over her sensitive face. She jerked her head back to face the devastating scene that held Yohji, stubborn determination shining in her tender eyes. She took a deep breath and attempted to step forward, only to have Aya grip her shoulder forcefully.

"Don't.."

"What do you mean `Don't'?!" Kym hissed, though her harsh expression was over ruled by the tenderness Aya was giving to her through his eyes. "Get out of here..NOW!"

Kym turned herself completely to look at him and held onto Aya's eyes with her fiery determination. "I'M NOT LEAVING -" her words were brutally ended by an act that not even she thought Aya capable of, she found his mouth attached to hers. His soft, untouched lips caressed her in an even more tender fashion than she could have hoped for met with the presence of his warm, soothing tongue against hers. And without meaning to in a time of crisis, she found herself lost in the moment that seemed to of lasted forever before she felt Aya's hands gently grip her shoulders and push her back.

"Run.." His deep and strong voice sounding hallow against the thin walls and high ceilings.

"A..ya.." She felt tears swell into her eyes. "I..can't.." She attempted to extend her hand to him in longing to stay by his side till the end but he caught her hand in his and held it, keeping her at an agonizing distance.

"Please.." He spoke with wistful voice, his hand trembling inside of hers.

"Yohji! Yohji!" Ken dug franticly "Hang in there! You're almost out!" Gas was beginning to take over the air more and more and Ken could feel his head becoming light and his breathing distant.

"Mmm…I haven't been this fucked over sense the last time I got hammered.."

"Shut-up you idiot!" If Yohji hadn't been in such bad condition as it was, Ken would have clobbered him with the rock he currently had in his hands. `Almost there…keep digging you can do it Hidaka!' Aya turned his back to the now tear streaked face of Kym, and jumped down into the disoriented hallway, surprising Ken as another pair of hands began to help him dig. "A..Aya?!"

"Ken, take Kym and get out of here.."

"What? Wait a minute! NO WAY! I'm not leaving you guys here!"

"KEN! You don't have much time, take Kym and get out."

"WHAT ABOUT-"

"Hidaka…I'll stay alive, and I'll keep Yohji alive to with all the power I have, if I have any."

"Well that's reassuring.." Yohji groaned as he was lifted and supported by the weight of Aya's shoulders.

"I'm with Yohji on that one Aya."

"Ken, for once trust me! All I ask is that you come back for us." Aya's voice was stiff and firm and he found himself looking deep within Ken's sympathetic eyes that gave a silent, merciful plea. "Go now, you can still make it if you do." Aya shifted Yohji's weight on his shoulders and slowly rose, standing over Ken who fists shook with aggravation.

"Fujimiya.." Ken growled under his breath "You better come back, because I know I will." With his final words Ken sprinted through the debris, and jumped onto the part of the hall were Kym still stood. "Come on Kym! We have to move!" Ken grabbed onto her wrist, only to feel her struggle.

"KEN! WHAT ARE DOING! AYA AND YOHJI ARE STILL BACK THERE!"

"No shit!" Ken found himself literally dragging the young woman behind him resisting with every ounce of her strength "Kym! Come on!"

"I'm not leaving Aya!" She screamed and jerked her wrist out of Ken's grip and started to turn to run back the direction she had been forced away from, only to have Ken run in front of her.

"Listen to me Kym! If you care about Aya then you'll for fill his last request!"

"AND WHAT WAS THAT?!"

"To come back for him."

"come..back..? TO WHAT?! A DEAD BODY?!! I WON'T LET HIM! KEN! I WON'T-" Kym gasped with pain, her eyes dilating violently as she crumpled into Ken's arms. "A..y..a" was the last thing she spoke before darkness consumed her vision entirely and she fell limp in the arms of the former J-league player who now held her securely in his arms.

"Forgive me..Kym.." Ken ran with every ounce of his strength left, his muscles aching as he raced to beat the clock, his breathing heavy, the cold air stabbing his lungs and blurring his vision, when the sensation of fresh air hit his nostrils. `Almost there..' the thought eased his mind, but pressed him farther to try and quicken his pace. Though he quickly found it hard to run steadily as the ground began to shake. "Shit! Thank God you're light Kym!" Sounds of pavement hitting pavement filled his ears and slowly the ground rumbled with the distant explosion, but he dare not stop. The ground began to crack and chip under him as he flew threw the final hall his destination in sight. Ken stretched his legs, his sides tightening with painful cramps `just a little further…I can make it!' Silence filled his ears as he reached the final stretch between him and the safe haven. He clutched Kym close to his body and right as he impaled the door with his side, his hearing restored itself to encounter the fiery explosions take their course. Ken hit the ground hard, and rolled a good couple feet to safety as what was left the building came crashing down, particles of cement and twisted metal flying through the air. He lay sprawled on top of Kym, panting hard, his breaths short and strenuous. It hurt to move and it hurt to breath, but he knew very well if he didn't at least roll off of Kym he would either crush her or suffocate her both of which wouldn't be good. He slowly, rolled off of Kym onto his back in agony. Never had he run so fast, and so hard without at least stretching, but he knew he really had nothing to complain about. He was alive, which was more than what he could say for his two comrades who were left in the building. `Yohji..Aya..you basterds better be alive..Or I'll kill you myself..' he thought to himself, slowly regaining his strength to properly move.

Omi strolled through the dark streets, his head lowered to the ground as he approached the Koneko. He gradually walked up to the dark flower shop and jiggled the handle, cracking the door partially open leaving him to push it wider, flipping on a light switch with his entrance. "Doesn't look like anyone's here.." Omi glanced around cautiously "I suppose there was a mission tonight, that or their all in bed." He quietly shut the door behind him, locking it with a quick swift with his wrist as he turned to eye the shadowy stairway that would lead him to the apartments. "I wonder… wonder how Nagi is doing.." He hesitantly made his was up the pitch-black steps, careful as to where his feet were going. He creeped down the hallway, and stood in front of Nagi's door, contemplating weather to go in or not. He slowly extended his hand, only to find in shaking as he gripped the cool doorknob and twisted it slightly, until he found the door partially cracked. "N..nagi?" Omi stepped inside the room, only to gape in shock at the empty bed that lay before him. "Nagi? "Nagi! Where are you?!" Omi rushed out of the room and up another flight of stairs to Aya's room and flew open the door. "AYA! Nagi's.." Omi stopped short and looked around the room, "Gone." His eye's fell upon the holder of which held Aya's prized blade, and it too was empty. "They must be on a mission after all..but..Nagi!" Omi rushed out of Aya's room, and down the stairs almost tripping over himself. "Nagi!" he couldn't help but keep calling his name as he made his was down to the Koneko and flung the door wide open, only the meet the towering appearch of a red headed man, standing a few feet in front of him. Omi's breath was short as he stood in the doorway, stricken with fear and mortification as the formillar face looked down at him.

"You must be Omi.." The man spoke with a smug voice, a smirk radiating over his face.

"Where's Nagi!! What have you done with him?!!" Omi's words were fierce and lashed out at Schu, who merely chuckled at the boys reaction.

"Nagi? Why he's right here." Schuldich stepped aside to reveal the presence of Nagi, who hung his head; afraid and refusing to look Omi in the eyes. "Is this YOU'RE Nagi?" Schuldich shoved him forward fiercely, Omi catching the boy in his arms.

"Na..gi.." Omi stared down at the boy, his blue eyes streamed with betrayal and agony as he looked into the all to formillar amber orbs that were filled with cries of pity and mercy as he sunk his head into Omi's shirt, trying his best not to cry. Schu glared, disgusted by this image and latched onto Nagi's shirt, ripping him away from his mortified lover. Omi attempted to latch back onto his lover's body, but Schu had pulled him out of his reach, and Nagi was now bound by Schu's arms as he held the young boy close to his chest in pleasure.

"You young ones are always so easy to fool.." Schu spoke egotistically through a smug expression. "You honestly thought Nagi loved you, didn't you?" Schuldich nuzzled his face in Nagi's neck, before tossing him aside to Crawford. "You were merely a pawn in our plan to retrieve information against Weiss and get that slimy, little bitch Kym back that betrayed us years ago! He never loved you, you poor mislead boy. And you're leader attempted to put Nagi asleep while they were gone by tainting his water." Schu held up a glass and examined it, a small chuckle escaping his chest. "Good thing Nagi knows how to dilute water." With his words, Schu slammed the glass onto the pavement, watching the shards of glass explode over the cement. "You were nothing but a pawn so Nagi could get closer to Weiss without hesitation or suspicion."

"Shut-up!" Omi wailed, his whole body shaking with fierce agony. "You're lying! I know you are!" Omi turned his head toward Nagi, who stood hanging his head, tears streaming down Omi's face. "Right Nagi? He's lying! Isn't..he?" Nagi didn't budge, his face shadowed by his hair as he faced the ground in eternal shame, silence following Omi's desperate question. "Nagi..? Nagi! Don't do this! It's not true! Its not-" Omi felt himself hit pavement unexpectedly, and a sudden throbbing was coming from his cheek, he groaned softly and lifted his head to look up at the red head that had impaled him. "Get over it boy..you lost.." Omi rolled over onto his back and slowly sat up, lifting his head to see the image of Nagi being embraced by a white haired man. Omi's eyes widened in shock as he watched the man known as Farfie casually tilt up Nagi's chin to embrace an infatuated Kiss. Though Omi could not see it, Nagi shed a single tear as he locked himself to Farfie's lips, where he could taste the essence of blood that was now tainting his own mouth. But Nagi did not pull away, he merely waited till Farifie was finished pleasing himself. Farfie intimately pulled away from Nagi's warm mouth and placed his chin on his shoulder.

"I missed my kitty.." Farfie cooed gently in Nagi's ear as he ran his sickly pale fingers through that soft black hair. Omi felt more tears rip at his eyes, as the reality around him began to sink in. Stuck to the ground in shock and his eyes dilated with emotional pain he could not of realized the approaching Crawford who swiftly slammed his leg into his chest. Omi gasped with pain and hunched over, gripping his stomach in agony.

"N..n..agi..ashiteru.." But through his short gasps, Nagi did not hear Omi's pledge of love to him, and Crawford glowered down at the wrecked body before he turned his back and proceeded to leave with the rest of the Schwartz team. Leaving the young boy surrounded by darkness and shards of glass that were now slicing into his skin as he lay on the ground in grimacing pain as his whispered through streams of light and short breaths while he watched the image of Nagi become more distant "ashiteru.."
