Witch Hunter Robin Fan Fiction ❯ Of little things ❯ The Eyes ( Chapter 3 )
Robin was awaken by The jingling of key sounds in the door. She looked at the clock at her bedside and saw it was nearly four in the morning. She quickly got up, throwing a blanket around her bare form, as the grumbling frustrated voice of Amon could be heard on the other side of the door, along with the jangle of keys.
She was half way across the room when the door flung wide open. Amon staggered in, his dark eyes were brightly bloodshot and wide as came through the doorway. He lurched forward, not really able to move too fast or too smoothly. Robin knew right off, her protector was drunk as a skunk. She took a step back, as she did not know what to think of the man's condition.
He closed the door, nearly falling as he locked the door. She took a step closer to the man, knowing full well that the man had drank way too much this night.
" I'm sorry..." He half mumbled, half stammered as he tossed off his coat to the floor, missing the chair totally.
" Hello, Amon." She said, not knowing what to say to the man's very slurred statement.
Robin looked at him as her nose crinkled up in response to the heavily bitter smell of the alcohol coming from Amon was overwhelming even from her distance from him. She had seen Amon take a drink or two before, but never had seen the man be drunk like this. She had seem drunk people before, but this was beyond what she knew. She found herself sort of fearful, yet really concerned about the man too.
He staggered forward with a shuffled step, seemingly going to hit the floor at any second. Struggling to look at the girl, he seemed to be heading right for Robin.
" I..." He stammered, getting out only that single sound about three times, then stopping as he swayed on his feet.
" Here, let me help you." Said the girl, hurrying over, scared that the man was going to fall on a piece of furniture and hurt himself in his state of inebriation.
Like a human crutch, she slipped her small blanket covered form under his arm, and guided his arm around her neck. With a grunt, Amon let the young girl lead him, as he leaned on her precariously. He suddenly giggled loudly at nothing, as the girl struggled with all of her strength to keep the much lager man on his feet until she could get him to the bed. She managed to move the uncoordinated man near his bed, but not without a great effort on her part.
She tried to swing him around to drop him on his back on the bed, and struggled with the massiveness of his larger body. He just fell like dead weight, pulling the girl down on top of him in the process of the maneuver. Robin had tried to shift the both of them to slow him down to make for a softer landing on the bed, but found his dead weight too much and the both of them fell.
He just layed there, his arms wrapped around the girl. He squeezed her tightly in an embrace, causing Robin to gasp as he unknowingly had cut off her air for a moment. He also gave a clumsy kiss to the side of Robin's cheek as he mumbled his apology over again.
Abruptly, one of his hands slipped down the length of her body and came to rest on Robin's blanket covered behind. Robin's eyes widened, the her face went white with shock as she felt the same hand somehow move quickly around to the front of her and was starting to grope her crotch through the flimsy fabric of the blanket while he held her there.
She gasped, as his hand forced their way through her legs, and she felt them touch her secret place with roughness, blocked only by that thin barrier of blanket she had wrapped around herself. She closed her legs on the hand and struggled to get away from the man the best she knew how to.
" Amon!!" Said the girl loudly, shocked at the man's hand trying to get through the fabric to the outer parts of her sex. She pushed against the man's thickly muscled chest to get herself away from him.
The man suddenly released her, like if he had been scalded with hot water. She just leapt off of Amon in a flash, tightening the flimsy sheet around herself, as her eyes held disbelief in their green depths.
" Oh Gheesh...Christ." He said loudly, his mind clearing momentarily from it's alcohol sodden state. " I'm sorry Robin... I..."
The girl shot off the bed and landed on her bed across from him. She did not know just what to think, as the man had never done that before. Nobody had done that before. She felt her heart pound in her chest, and actually felt somewhat fearful of the man. She pulled the blanket around herself very tightly, inching back on to the bed.
The man layed there, legs still off of the bed. He tried to push himself up to a sitting position, but was unable to muster up the coordination to do it right then. He took a long breath, and a snuff of disgust came out of him.
" What the fuck did I do?" He moaned over and over again, both hands clasping over his face. " Robin I... I..."
Robin sat up a little, hearing Amon's words mumbled out, then trail off. She could feel the anguish in the man's voice, something she had never heard out of him before. It was a voice of sadness. She knew that he was extremely drunk, and had not knowingly did this to her, but still felt apprehensive over what the man had done He had touched her, and that was not a figment of her imagination either.
She calmed herself down the best that she could do, and made herself stand up from cowering on the bed.
" It's ok, Amon..." She said in as calm of a voice as she could muster up, hearing the tone loud and clear.
" No, NO, NO..." He said, his voice trailing off fast once more as it was muffled through his hands.
Robin moved closer, hearing the man's voice. She leaned over and picked up his long tree trunk like legs and with a huge effort swung them on to the bed, knowing he was in no shape to even attempt it by himself. She stood up and glanced into the man's face, and found the man's hands had fallen to the sides. He now was laying very still now, his breathing was loud and long. Noticing that Amon's eyes were now closed, head lolled over to one side. It was clear to her now, he had passed out.
She stared down into his face for long moments, her mind fighting to come to grips with his actions. She shook her head in disbelief, this was not the man she had came to respect, and even love, she told herself. Seeing the calmness of the man's sleeping face, she felt herself relax.
" It was the alcohol..." She assured herself, her heart racing as she thought of his hand running between her legs again..
Deep down inside of herself, she was starting to scare herself, as she realized that now she had actually liked the feeling of his hands on her. It made her all tingly, and she found that she wanted him to do it again. She shook her head slightly, as the thought flashed through her brain.
She could still feel his hand trying to make its way between her legs, his blanket trapped fingers still managing to touch her sex... and she now found that she was wanting way more. She should be scared, she asked herself, but she found that the fear part of herself simply waning with the advance of these new feelings she was experiencing. She shivered, as she pondered her thoughts.
She knew from the church's teachings, this was totally wrong to want something like this, but she did find a deep desire for the man's hands to go all over her, to touch her in places she had never wanted to be touched before. She found her heart pumping hard in her chest, as she battled with the two sides that had taken up residence inside of her. She took a deep breath, and just tried to put the thoughts aside for then. She needed to help Amon right now, she reminded herself.
Gently, she tugged of his boots and put them beside the bed. She was amazed at the force she had to use to extract the boots off his feet, and the man had never stirred with all the jostling it took She reminded herself to take off his socks too, first thing was she had to open his shirt a little to check on his bandaged chest and torso. She thought his drunken movements would have loosened the bandages or opened up some of the still half unhealed wounds that were underneath the cloth wraps.
Peering into the shirt, the young girl smiled, the bandages were in good shape despite his state. That just meant they could wait to be changed until the morning time. It would be much easier if he was awake and alert when she did it, she thought to herself. With him being nothing but dead weight like he was, it would be simply impossible to have re-wrap his chest even if it was necessary..
Just knowing to let him sleep it off, she just was wanting to cover him up. With him laying on his own bedcovers, she knew that it was not the way to go with them. Pulling the blanket she had from around herself, she covered Amon up gingerly. With him fully passed out the way he was, he would not see her nakedness right now.
He did not even move an inch, as snoring came out of him boomingly loudly as she tucked the man in for the duration of the night. She was happy that he was finally sound asleep, it took some of the awkwardness out of the situation for the time being.
Returning to her bed, she crawled in and made sure to cover herself up with the remaining blankets. For the longest time, she layed there in the silence of the room. She passed the time just watching the sleeping giant, his snores resonating out at her with almost deafening force. She thought that the man's fitful snores was a good sign, since she had never actually delt with the aftermath of someone's drinking too much.
As she layed there, Robin began to wonder just why he had came home in this state of drunkenness. She looked over at the sleeping man's face that was lit up by the television that was still on in the corner. She gasped, a thought came to her. Did the fight earlier cause him to end up drinking like he had done?
"What if I am?" She asked herself.
She tucked her head under the covers a little, remorseful of ever arguing with the man, very sure that her adamant words had contributed to it. Hands folded up to her face in a silent prayer, she vowed to correct her misdeed of the arguing in the morning, but did not know how to go about it. She closed her eyes, she was looking to her god for some divine direction, yet did not see which way to be going in.
For a long time, the girl just stayed very still in her bed, watching the man sleeping away. Sleep finally did take her over, as the first faint rays of light were just beginning to be visible out of the window.
