Chapter 16 - Darkness/Light

Night had fallen a few hours passed, blanketing the city in a eery cloak of black that was ominous and frightening in its scope. You would never know what the darkness held, unless it jumped right out at you.

Robin was laying in bed, flicking the channels mindlessly, trying to find something to watch. There were movies and other programming on the tube, yet nothing was peeking her interest any. Each channel seemed to not have anything on, even her favorite channel was playing something that she had seen many times, and did not make her want to watch again.

She just left it on a music channel and layed back on the pillow. She looked at the time on the clock and hoped Amon would return from wherever he had gone to soon.

She pulled up the covers around her body, as a chill was in the air and made her bare form break out in goose bumps because of it. She wriggled to settle the covers around her and just decided to watch whatever video was on to pass the time, longing for either a hot cup of coffee or a warm body, to warm her up. Right then, she wanted the latter.

Amon came in right then, as if on cue. She smiled and sat up with his entrance, thankful that he was back.

Amon's face seemed blank, his movements odd. He was not drunk or anything, but there was something about him that was not right.

" Amon?" She said, looking into the man's face. " What's wrong?"

The man took off his coat and threw it on the chair, then looked at the girl who was sitting up in the bed.

" I was suppose to meet with my informant again, but he never showed up." The man said. " I waited for almost an hour, but he never did."

" Never showed up?" She echoed, her emerald gaze looking at the man.

Smoothly, he moved to the bed and sat down, leaning over and kissing the young fire-user.

" Yeah." He answered. " He always is good at showing, although he has a problem with being punctual. This is not like him."

" Maybe he got delayed or something." Soothed the girl.

" Yeah... maybe." Said the long haired man, rubbing his square jaw with his hand as he thought. " I'll just try him on his cell, see just where the hell he has gotten to."

Robin just watched as the man dialed the phone. She noted the stiffness the man held his body with, as this situation was obviously not sitting well with him. She waited quietly, just watching the man. She reached out and put a hand on his back, feeling his thick muscles standing tautly. Under her touch, she actually felt him somewhat relax.

He put down the phone after just sitting with the receiver against his ear and looked back at the girl.

" It went straight to his Voice Mail." He said. " Don't know..."

" You think he will call you then?" She asked, her voice calm and collected.

" Yeah... he will." Said the man, his face finally breaking into a large smile. He had resolved himself for the time being. " I'm sure he will."

The man leaned over and kissed the girl again, this time deeper. Robin just put her hand on his strong jaw and kissed back, feeling the man's kiss drawing her. His hand slipped under the covers covertly, and started to rub her side with a light touch. Robin shivered, her body responding almost instantly to the man's touch. His hand went up to her breast and he started to fondle her ever so lightly.

Robin layed back, pulling the man onto her as she kissed him with great passion as his hand brought back her heightened needs. He flipped the covers off of her and wrapped his arms around her, his mouth raining kisses on to the small of her neck. She cooed softly, pulling on his clothes, wanting the man once more.

He obliged the girl by peeling off his clothes and rolling onto her in mere seconds She was open and ready, her body aflame for the man. She offered herself to the man she loved, and he was doing the same. As one they accepted one another.

When he finally plunged his manhood into her finally, filling her, she felt the same sensation as she had the night before. She felt complete. The girl just let herself go, her mind swooning and her needs driving her. The made love together with a passion that was so intense in it's fire.

When the first of her orgasms flowed over her, all she could do was whisper his name in his ear as her body shook with the excitement. His large member was pulling every last piece of the orgasm out of her very being, while setting the stage for the others to follow. She thrust her hips like a wild woman, her body wanting to feel and experience every last bit of the man as her cunny cried out for more. He was bucking back against her with great ferocity, his moans and heavy pants music to the young girl's ears. Another orgasm thrashed through her, and she just flowed off on the bliss that it entailed.

The man watched the girl's face contort and listened to her murmurs of pure satisfaction come out of her, smelling the soft lady musk that she always had. His body was on fire with the feeling of the softness of the girl's ravishingly beautiful body up against him, writhing and pounding against him with every fiber of herself. He could feel her inner walls constrict and corral his member, sending shockwaves of sensations through him. He just kept planting his rod deep in her, just on the simple quest of being one with her. As he felt his climax coming ever closer, he would not have to wait too much longer.

As one, the two lovers came together. Their mutual gasps and cries melded into a musical lilt of release. Their bodies slammed against one another, the slapping sounds of their sweat plastered skin together made a great backbeat as they shook with the overwhelmingly strong forces of the orgasms their bodies were generating.

Spent, Amon flopped over on to his side of the bed, his large chest heaving as he caught his breath. Robin layed there, her large smile spoke of what she was feeling right at that moment. She looked over at the man, his sweat heavy hair spilling on to the pillow.

" I never knew that the mood would come on that.." She blushed, as she realized her statement. "... Fast."

Amon chuckled and rolled on to his side to cradle her against himself by pulling her into him.

" It does.." He said, his eyes shining. He kissed her. " It is... natural."

Robin just sighed and cuddled into the man, feeling his warmth up against her. She could hear his heart beating, his sweat perfumed body making her whole form relax in the comfort and security of his embrace. She closed her eyes to enjoy the simplicity of having her lover against her, and did not even realize it when she drifted off to sleep.

The large man realized that his young lover had fallen asleep against himself, she snored softly into his chest. He just layed there and stroked her shoulder, just content to watch her sleep. He felt his own eye lids close and he too, joined the girl in sleep.

------------------------------

A small, almost non-existent sound made Amon's eyes shoot open and his mind fully clear. He layed there, his ears perked for any sign of what he had heard. The room was still lit by the television, and he could not feel anyone in the room, but his instincts were telling him to be on guard.

Sitting up, his eyes scanned the dimmed room while his ears strained for any hint of a sound. He slipped out of bed and grabbed his pants that were crumpled where he had threw than in his fit of passion, then he pulled his weapon. He glanced once over, and saw his young lover was still asleep despite his quick exit from their bed.

A motion in the window caught his eye, and he whirled to see just what it would be on the sixth floor of this hotel.

A man was out on the fire escape, looking into the room from his vantage point. Amon stared at the man, as a soft glow was seen totally surrounding the man. The strange person seemed to be smirking right at Amon. The hunter growled, and leveled his weapon at the man outside the window. The man just bared his teeth, the glow became brighter.

Amon suddenly felt like someone was crushing his head, the pain was so intense that he felt his legs beginning to buckle. He struggled to keep his feet while he held his head, but he could not stop the pain, he grunted and stepped back. From his weakening hand, his weapon fell to the carpet and he screamed in pain, blood beginning to flow from his nose.

Robin sat up with a start, and saw Amon writing in pain. Turning her head with a jerk, she noticed the man with the round brimmed hat and long coat on the fire escape. He seemed to be staring right at her, and she knew just what was going on.

She leaned over and grabbed her glasses that sat just beside the digital clock on the bed side. As she pulled them on, she felt a searing pain come barreling through her mind, the pressure of it was undescribable. She found herself unable to concentrate, and her vision was clouding. She held her head and fell off the bed and crashed in a naked heap on the floor. She struggled to get herself up, but she could only weakly look over at the man in the window from where she lay. He seemed to be smiling very evilly.

Both Amon and Robin fought with all of their strength to get up, but they found their bodies were not responding and the pain growing by leaps and bounds. A devious laughter could be heard coming from the window.

Robin had the best luck, finally getting to her knees with a extra herculean effort. She turned her head and focused the best she could on the witch out on the escape, but her powers were not coming through the intensity of the pain. She screamed as the pain was getting larger by the second, but her screams did little to help. She collapsed back to the floor, helpless under the powers of the large hatted man. She closed her eyes and prayed.

The man outside the window was laughing maliciously, standing on the landing as he watched the occupants of the room writhed and contorted in abject pain. He actually seemed like he was enjoying all of this that he was causing. The glow was beginning to get even brighter as he stood there.

Suddenly a gunshot rang out, and the witch fell forward. The man flew forward and smashed threw the window, glass shattering under his weight. The man hit the floor just under the window, blood flowing from many cuts he had coming through the pane of glass. He slowly rose to his feet, and looked at the two people in the room seemingly not understanding what had just happened.

Amon and Robin were back up on their feet, their eyes clear and focused on the man. Robin stared the man down with a stern look on her young face, a flicker of a flame shone in her green eyes. The witch saw this and stepped back, eyes wide with the same fear that he had seen in his victims in the room.

The man burst into a cone of flames, the fire totally engulfing the form. He screamed with a high pitch that rang out and suddenly a bright flash from the flames exploded. Amon and Robin both squinted and turned their heads away from the flash, as a sizzling sound overtook the screaming.

When the fire had faded, the man that had been there was gone. No trace could be seen, not even a pile of ash was left. The witch had been totally vaporized by the young fire-user's power

Amon looked at where the man had been, and could only see a heavy scorch mark on the wall just under the windowsill. He looked over at the girl, who was throwing one of his shirt to cover herself, then back at the open window. Her power had always amazed him, but this was a display that he had rarely seen.

Robin suddenly saw something else at the window, and she took a step back.

" Amon!!" Yelled the girl. " There is someone else out there!!"

Amon could see a shadowed figure lurking out there, yet not moving to hide. He raised his weapon and stepped to the window, ready for a second witch to jump out and into their room.

The tall shadowed figure gracefully leapt in, landing silently like a cat. Amon squeezed the trigger a little more, as he looked at the new figure. Without warning, a voice came from the second person, but it was one that was familiar.

" Hey.. Don't shoot me you dumbass!!" The figure said with a slight chortle in it's words. " This ain't no way to treat the man who has just saved your sorry butts from getting killed!!"

Amon looked at the new person who sauntered in to the light of the television, holding a gun at it's side. It seemed to know exactly who they were, and was walking closer to Amon and the girl.

Robin saw the figure' face and nearly fell over, as the long features became recognizable.

" Nagira?" She said slowly, using her hands in making sure her lover's shirt was covering her nakedness.

" Nah... I'm just a figment of your imaginations." Shot back the person.

In the light of the television, the person was none other than Nagira standing there with a spit ass grin on his bloodied face. He holstered his weapon and stood there looking at the very shocked two.

" For dead people, you look very fucking alive to me." He chuckled.

Amon and Robin did not know just what to say with the arrival of Amon's older brother. They just stood and stared at the man, their mouth agape.

Nagira was really standing right there, a smug smile painted on his face and the normal cigarette clutched in his teeth. He looked at the two and nodded.

" Any one tell me your explanations, or do I have to wait for the book to come out." He asked with a chuckle.

By the really bad sense of humor, it was not in doubt to either of the hotel rooms occupants, this was Nagira.
