The next morning was very cool and calm and a nice slow breeze swept by and woke up the cuddling pair. Kiba shook his head and glanced down at Cheza who was rubbing her eyes and yawned slightly.

 

Cheza opened her big blue eyes to see Kiba staring down at her. Cheza smiled and started to blush as she saw him examining her face. She quickly turned her face to the side.

 

“What is it Kiba? Does this one look bad?” Cheza then tilted her head slightly to Kiba who only smiled at her comment.

 

“No Cheza you look beautiful.” Kiba said while sitting up and didn't notice he was staring at her so hard.

 

“Well, it is just that you are staring at this one so weird… this one is just confused.” Cheza said while taking a strand of hair and wrapped it around her finger tightly.

 

“Oh…uh…I am sorry.” Kiba looked around to try and cover it up. “Are you hungry Cheza?” Kiba asked to cover up the past subject.

 

Cheza's smile widened as he mentioned food. “Yes this one would love to try food.” Cheza got up to follow Kiba. He opened a little hatch where he and the rest of the pack hid all the good food in the night before so they would have food and no little animal would find and eat it first.

 

“Here …try these. They are called chips.” Kiba said while throwing Cheza a bag of chips. Kiba winced as it hit her in the face. Kiba opened one eye to see her stunned face. “You were supposed to catch it.” Kiba let out a laugh.

 

Cheza turned bright red and she touched her cheek. “Oh…well next time this one will be ready.” Cheza said while picking up the bag of chips to open, and eat them. Kiba let out yet another laugh at her reaction.

 

“Hey I smell food…” Hige said with his eyes closed and sniffing the air deeply.

 

Kiba grabbed another bag and tossed it at Hige to have it hit him in the face as well. “Oh thanks Kiba…” Hige said sarcastically as he dug in to the bag.

 

Cheza finished her bag of chips and headed for the door. Kiba looked up at her as she opened it to get out. “Hey where are you going?” Kiba asked her while getting up himself and going after her.

 

“This one wants to see where we are…is that ok Kiba?” Cheza asked him while turning to smile at him.

 

“Oh yea…that is fine. I will be right here so don't go that far. Jagura's troops might still be looking for us.” Kiba said.

 

Cheza turned to him and started to cry as soon as he mentioned it. Kiba stood up quickly and ran over to her to see what happened. “Cheza what's the matter?” He asked as he took her in his arms and hugged her tightly.

 

“This one is scared Kiba. This one gave up my powers to a good cause that was not true. This one is upset to know that she wanted to kill this one.” Cheza said while clutching Kiba's jacket. Kiba stroked her hair and kissed the top of her head.

 

“It is going to be alright Cheza…we will get your powers back again.” Cheza looked up at Kiba to see his through his eyes. Kiba smiled down at her.

 

“This one is very happy to know you are there for this one.” Cheza said while resting her head on his chest.

 

“Cheza….” Kiba said. Cheza looked up at him. “I will always be here to protect you and I will get your powers back.” Cheza's eyes watered once again.

 

“Then this one will not be able to be with you forever Kiba…and I want to be with you forever.” Cheza said while gripping his Jacket harder.

 

“Oh I will make sure you stay with me forever Cheza.” He leaned in a little to have her back out a little in confusion. “Cheza… can I kiss you?” Kiba asked while looking down at her lips.

 

“A kiss…what is a kiss…is it sweet?” Cheza asked while smiling. “Like candy is it?” Cheza asked him again.

 

“You could say that.” He smiled down at her.

 

“Yes Kiba give this one a kiss.” Cheza waited for him to give it to her. Kiba grabbed her chin the lean it back and placed his lips softly on hers. Cheza's eyes widened in surprise and pushed on his chest. Kiba pulled away in her attempt to be free.

 

“This one thought you were going to give me a kiss?” Cheza said while looking at his lips. She put two fingers on the area where Kiba just touched his lips with hers.

 

“I just gave it to you… did you like it?” Kiba asked her.

 

Cheza smiled and nodded. “Can you give me another?” Kiba nodded and smiled.

 

Kiba leaned in and placed yet another kiss on her lips this time Kiba touched his tongue to her lips to get them to open so he could taste her. Cheza opened her mouth and let him in. He ran his tongue around hers in a battle. He pulled back and licked his lips.

“You taste so sweet Cheza.” Kiba said while smiling down at the girl who had to stable herself from what Kiba just did to her.

 

“This one wants to know if this kiss will ever happen again.” Cheza asked while touching her lips again.

 

“Many times to come Cheza don't worry.” Kiba hugged her and let her run back to the truck. He smiled as he watched her happily run back.

 

Tsume walked up behind him and kept a straight face. “You know what you guys will never happen right?” Tsume said to Kiba. Kiba looked over at him in a jerk of his head.

 

“What are you talking about?” Kiba asked while narrowing his eyes at him.

 

“What do you think…I came out here to find you kissing the girl…I know you have feelings for her Kiba, but you know that she can't be with you. She is the flower maiden and as soon as she is changed back then she can no longer be the woman you want. Besides she is a human now. If you mate her she could get pregnant …would you really want her to have to go through that… that is crazy half wolf brats.” Tsume huffed and crossed his arms.

 

“What is wrong with her having my pups?” Kiba growled at him.

 

“So the thought did cross you mind. Well just to let you know…she didn't even know what a kiss was Kiba…don't scare her with anything else…” Tsume said while taking in a big breath. Tsume patted Kiba on the back and walked back to the truck. “Kiba …please don't make that mistake.” Kiba looked down and turned away in anger.

 

“Damn I hate it when you are right Tsume.” Kiba growled to himself. He put his hands in his pockets and walked back to the truck to get everyone up and ready to start there long journey to Jagura's science tower where Cheza's power will be sent next.

Jagura looked at the nicely polished sword. She lifted it above her head to watch it shine from the sky lights shining down on it. “This is perfect I am glad you prepared it for me…now to put what is missing in place.

 

A scientist walked over to her with the tube filled with Cheza's power and put it in place on the top of the sword. She smiled bigger as she felt the power course through the sword. “Now I will be able to open the portal to paradise with only a swing of my sword.” Jagura laughed and gave the sword to another person at her side to place in is a case to take it back to her layer. She was going to have to plan for a big party so that everyone could see her glorious moment when she was the person to open up the paradise to the rightful nobles.

 

“Let's go… I have a party to plan.” She said while whipping her hair around as she turned on her heel and walked out the door.
