“Damn… I can't believe I couldn't save her…I am suppose to be the strong one here. I couldn't even save her.” Kiba ran a hand through is thick hair. He looked up at Tsume who was shaking his head.

 

“Hey…listen I told you we were going to get Cheza back…damn…” Tsume rolled his eyes at Kiba. Kiba let out a snarl and quickly moved across to Tsume and wrapped his hand around Tsume's neck squeezing it enough to make him reach up and grasp the hand that was holding him in place.

 

“Don't even make this seem like it is nothing, because Cheza doesn't understand what could happen…and you know that. She could be hurting…or they could be doing things to her…that could be killing her.” Kiba snarled in his face. Tsume turned his face to the side and then looked back into Kiba's piercing blue eyes.

 

“I told you once already we will fucking find her…now let me go.” Tsume dug his nails into Kiba's hand and ripped it away from him throat.

 

Kiba watched as the other wolf went and sat off by himself and watched him with the same intensity.

 

`You better be right Tsume…' Kiba thought before sitting down and resting his head on his hands and closed his eyes tightly.

“Lady Jagura…We have the Flower Maiden here. We found her with the wolfs.” One of her high guards told her calmly while standing straight and looking at the women in front of him. Jagura looked up from playing with her nails. A smile dashed across Jagura's purple lips as she heard the news.

 

“Lovely …bring her in please.” She replied softly and smirked while looking at her nails, and sipping her red wine.

 

Moments later two guards dragged in a lavender haired girl dressed in white. Jagura raised an eyebrow and watched the girl. “You are dismissed.” She waved away the guards. Jagura got up from her seat and strutted over to the girl who was trembling with fear. “What is wrong dear? No one is going to hurt you.” She smiled while leaning over her and stroking the top of her head. “All we are going to do is take your power…” She paused and let you a laugh then continuing again. “The only out come is you will fade into a human…and then your free. See not so bad is it. You get off free once you give us what we want.” Jagura smiled and pulled the girls face up until Cheza was meeting Jagura's intense purple eyes. Cheza looked at the woman and her lips parted as she thought about what she said.

 

 

`Human? Then this one can be with Kiba…forever.'

 

 

Cheza turned her head to the side. “Human…this one can be human?” Cheza asked while pointing a finger to her chest.

 

Jagura knew by the sound of Cheza's voice that this was something that she was very interested in. “Yes, you are to be human after the process.” Cheza was helped to stand. She smiled at Jagura and was lead to another room to start the process.

 

“Yes Cheza… soon you will be human just like you want.” Jagura said calmly while smirking to herself.

Kiba awoke to the sound of air crafts flying though the air. Kiba opened his eyes and glanced into the sky. He focused his eyes on the ship and got up to wake up Hige.

 

“Hey …Hige …wake up …are those Jagura's air crafts?” Kiba asked while narrowing his eyes to the sky. Hige opened his eyes and rubbed them to look up in the air.

 

“Yup…sure looks like them” Hige said then turning his body to fall asleep again.

 

“No you can't sleep now…if those are her ships then we are going to have to follow them, because they are going to lead us to where Cheza is being held.” Kiba pulled him up so he could wake the others. The others were woken up in a matter of seconds and they were off the find Cheza.

 

“Hey Kiba so you think this is going to work …you know, us following these guys to her hide out.” Tsume asked while running to keep up with Kiba.

 

“Oh I am sure of it…this is the only way.” Kiba breathed out.

 

“Ok if you are sure of it.” Tsume said doubting some of what Kiba was telling them.

 

“Hey Kiba…how much longer to you think?” Hige asked, “Because my legs are killing me. Hige said while letting out a playful laugh.

 

“Not much longer at the rate we are moving.” Kiba looked ahead to see the tower that the crafts were landing at. “Hey look ahead there it is …we are there.” Kiba yelled.

 

“What is your plan Kiba?” Toboe asked while trying desperately to keep up.

 

“I will tell you when we get there.” Kiba said while stopping and looking at the boundaries around him. “Alright…first we are going to go through those gates right there on the right…then we are going to hopefully track her scent from there.” Kiba said while continuing on the tower.

Jagura leaned over and strapped Cheza in. “Alright turn on the machine.” She yelled. They turned on the machine that would be used to take Cheza's Maiden powers and leave her to her human side. Cheza closed her eyes as she felt her power drain. She arched into the pain as she felt it being sucked from her body. She let out a cry as she felt her body slowly giving up. Once the machine was shut down and the transfer was complete Cheza felt as though she had not slept in weeks. She was UN strapped and released. Cheza felt her face and hair. She pulled a strand in front of her eyes. She noticed it was no longer the color lavender, but the color blonde. She smiled to herself as she finally felt as those she were right, and belonged in the world.

 

“Here honey take a look at yourself.” Jagura said while grabbing her shoulders and turning her to the small mirror Jagura carried in her hand. Cheza grabbed it and looked at herself. She had very shiny blonde hair, with big blue eyes. Cheza smiled and the frowned as she felt her stomach rumble. She grabbed her stomach in surprise. “What is wrong with this one?” Cheza asked with a fearful expression on her face.

 

“Oh this is a normal feeling humans get when they are hungry…they eat food and it makes that feeling go away. You always eat something when you feel like that.” Jagura explained to her. Cheza smiled and gave her the mirror back while running her hair through her hair. Jagura felt as though her work had been completed. She turned to a tube that was being handled to her by one of the scientists who were hired to help with the Maidens power. Jagura smiled while looking at the glowing essence in the tube. She handed it back into the woman's hands and turned to look at Cheza.

 

“Well, are you pleased Cheza?” Jagura asked while studying the girl's features.

 

“Yes… this one is very pleased and happy…but what about this ones power?” Cheza asked while staring at the people working to analyze everything they had of her.

 

“Well, we are going to put it to good use…don't worry Cheza…it is in good hands.” Jagura lied to Cheza as she put a fake smile on her face to reassure the girl.

 

“Where are Kiba…and Tsume?” Cheza asked while looking around.

 

“Kiba…oh your little wolf friends…I think they are on there way.” Jagura said while looking a security television on the wall as she saw them sneaking there way in.

 

“Jagura we have intruders.” Jagura looked at the guard who was rushing over to her. Jagura turned furiously and grabbed the man and put her mouth to his ear.

 

“Listen to me…lead the wolves to the girl…and as soon as they are there….kill them all.” Jagura said while pulling away to have him give her a simple nod.

 

The guard grabbed the girl and started to walk to the door. Cheza turned and looked at the woman in concern. “It is all right Cheza he is taking you to your friends.” Jagura waved them good bye and turned and smirked at the working scientists.

“Kiba this way!” Tsume yelled directing him in the opposite direction of the guards. All the wolves hid in the dark corner and waited for them to rush away before they saw them. As soon as the guards passed the quickly made a run for it. They stopped in their tracks as they saw these guards with this short blonde haired girl who looked to have a smile on her face. The girl looked around the age of 18 or 19 years old. Kiba stopped and inspected to guards and snarled at them to stop.

 

They stopped and released the girl. She ran over to them to have them growl at her. Cheza stopped and frowned at them. “It's alright Kiba…this one is not going to hurt you…its Cheza.” She reached out to him. Kiba sniffed her hands and then realized she had some of the scent that he remembered on her skin…it was Cheza! Kiba then let her touch him. Cheza's face softened as Kiba rubbed him face into her hand.

 

Tsume raised his eyes from the two. He looked at the guards who were cocking their guns. Tsume barked to Kiba who looked up and saw them doing to same action. “These are Jagura's orders.” One of the guards replied before shooting at the. Kiba grabbed Cheza and flung her with them. They ran down the hall dodging the bullets flying past them. Kiba and Tsume lead the others out to safety. They ran as far as they could from them so they could make it to a safe place before sun set.

Later in the day just before the sun was going down they found a shelter to stay in by this old broken down military trunk. They all were sitting in the back laying on there side and just relaxing from their day trying to stay alive and worrying about if they were still looking for them.

 

Kiba looked down at Cheza who was laying her head on his side. “Cheza…are you still awake?” Kiba asked her while stroking the blonde hair on top of her head. Cheza turned and looked up at him with a smile and nodded. “I was wondering ...how did you get this way?” Kiba asked her while running his hands through her hair.

 

“This one gave her power up for a good cause…Jagura said so.” Cheza said while smiling.

 

Tsume was listening in on the conversation and rolled his eyes at her comment. “How could you think that…I would think that Flower Maiden was smarter than to giver her power up to someone like Jagura…god your stupid.” Tsume huffed and turned away.

 

“Is that true Kiba?” Cheza's eyes filled with tears at Tsume's comment.

 

“Yes partly…Jagura is only using your power for her…but you are not stupid…don't listen to him. It's alright.” He said while brushing away stray tears from her eye's with his thumb. Cheza smiled at him and snuggled closer to him. “Cheza?” Kiba asked once again before he drifted off to sleep.

 

“What…?” Cheza asked listening to him.

 

“So you are human now right?” Kiba said while looking down at her.

 

“Yes…this one is human…and this one wants to keep you Kiba…Keep you forever.” Cheza whispered and fell asleep.

 

Kiba smiled and closed his eyes. `Only if you will have me... Cheza' He thought to himself before drifting off.
