Chapters/Parts: 3/?
Silence gradually filled the hotel room for a few seconds after the echo of Ken’s question. Chris glanced at the other blond before pacing the floor and sighing roughly, “So, that’s why you’ve been acting strange. You think I cheated on you.”
Ken watched Chris for a minute before turning away and asking, “How else am I suppose to think, Chris? The whole time I was in Puerto Rico, I never heard from you. When I tried calling you. Your phone was either off or you would never answer. Now, I find suspicious little love bites.”
Chris stopped pacing to walk close to Ken. He placed a hand on his shoulder and speaks softly, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to be so distant. I was just busy with stuff. I know there’s no excuse. All I can do is apologize.”
Ken crossed his arms and turned to face Chris before reaching a hand out to caress the bumps on Chris’ collarbone. Timidly he asked, “What about these, where did they come from? Please don’t lie.”
Chris hesitated before placing his arms around Ken’s waist. He glanced down at the bumps with a confused face expression before looking into the other man’s eyes and answering above a whisper, “Honestly, I don’t know where they came from. I wished that I did, so I could give you answers. I would never hurt you on purpose, Ken. You have to believe me. ”
Ken stared at Chris for an extensive time before wordlessly hugging Chris close to him as a few worried tears came to his eyes. He wanted so much to believe that he was telling the truth, but deep down he was feeling very doubtful. Ken hoped Chris was being honest because if he wasn’t than he would never be able to trust him ever again.

A blond man with short hair smirked as he removed the hotel key from the receptionist’s hand. He slips it into the back pocket of his jeans before bending to grab his suitcase. He turns and walks toward a nearby elevator.
“Oh my god! Jason!” exclaimed an excited voice.
The stranger stopped immediately at the echo of his name. He turned and a bright smile made its way across his face.
“Well if it isn’t my good friend Adam Copeland,” said Jason as he sat his luggage down to embrace the other man.
Adam gladly hugged Jason back. He pulled away and asked, “What the hell are you doing here?”
Jason sighs at Adam’s question and wasn’t reluctant to answer, “Last time I checked this is a hotel. There’s nothing Vince can do to stop me from getting reservations. It doesn’t matter if I work for TNA or ROH. Just because he’s a multi-billionaire doesn’t mean he owns the world.”
Adam nods, “I know, I just don’t want you getting into hot water with TNA management.”
“Eh, don’t worry about it. Besides, I bring them ratings. They’d be stupid to get rid of me over something that ridiculous,” said Jason as he pressed the “up” button on the elevator.
Soon the hotel lift arrives and both blonds get on. After the doors shut, Jason pressed “4” as he asked, “Um… are you familiar with the name “Ken Kennedy”?”
Adam instantly answered, “Yeah, Ken is one of my co-workers. Why?”
“Nothing, just Chris kept mentioning that name… a lot.”
Adam raised curious eyebrows at the mention of Chris. He questions, “Uh… when did you see Chris?”
“Oh… a few weeks ago before Wrestlemania. It was like old times until he brought up Ken’s name.”
Adam sighs, “You do know that Chris and Ken are a couple, right?”
Jason rolls his eyes quickly and groans, “Unfortunately, I do.”
“I’m surprised Ken wasn’t with him.”
“I believe Chris said he was in Puerto Rico filming some kind of movie for WWE Films,” explains Jason as the elevator arrives at the correct floor. Inwardly Jason was pleased that Ken wasn’t able to go out with him and Chris. His jealous personality wouldn’t have been too happy if Chris and Ken suddenly got lovey-dovey in front of him.
Jason grabbed his suitcase before departing from the elevator and strolling down the corridor with Adam. He smirks, “I’d like to meet this Ken person… I want to know what he has that I don’t.”
Adam frowned, “Ken and Chris are very happy. The last thing they need is you messing things up for them, Jay. You have to accept that Chris has moved on.”
“Look, Adam, I could care less what Chris does or who he fucks. If anybody messes shit up, than it’ll be Chris. I’ve known him a lot longer than Ken and I know that he’s not very good at being faithful. He’s always had a problem with keeping his zipper closed.”
“I know this isn’t any of my business, but did anything happen between you and Chris? ‘Cause if it did and it gets back to Ken…”
Jason growls unpleasantly at Adam’s words and immediately cuts him off. He grows defensive, “So what if it did? I’m not afraid.”
Adam shakes his head at Jason’s words and exhales profoundly. He bit on his bottom lip before responding, “I know you probably missed Chris and when you saw him, it brought back a lot of memories. I understand that.”
“We were a couple for a long time until Chris fucked things up between us. Just hearing him brag about his great relationship with Ken made me sick to my stomach. If Ken knew how Chris really was than I wonder if they’d be such a happy couple. He has no idea. Chris has a side to him that he hides so well.”
Jason paused from talking to slide the key card from his jean pocket to unlock the door that led to his hotel room. He pushed the entrance open, walks in and over to a nightstand to turn on a lamp. He sat his belongings on the floor before resting himself on the edge of the bed. He watched as Adam sat in a chair across from him.
Adam looked at Jason for a long time and hesitates before speaking, “You know, you’re not being fair to Chris.”
“How so?” Jason asked.
“Maybe the man has changed.”
“Heh, Chris… a changed man? That’ll be the day,” said Jason as he rolls his eyes.
For two years, Jason dated Chris and it was the happiest times of his life or so he thought. He’ll never forget finding his ex in bed with Jeff Hardy or the priceless look on his face when he got caught. Since then Jason has promised he’d get revenge on Chris for the pain he caused him and now is the perfect time.
Adam observed closely as a smirk unexpectedly appears on Jay’s face, which made him ask, “You did something, didn’t you? I know that look anywhere.”
Jason glared at his former tag team partner for a long time before nodding, “Yeah I did. I left Chris a text message…”
“W-what? What did it say?”
“Let’s just say when and if Ken finds it, their relationship will be on the rocks,” said Jason with an evil sneer.
