Chapter Twenty-Nine: Love is Love:

She's going to be gone for most of the day. Plus it was Saturday. Anna turned to Tsuzuki. She had a hungry look in her eyes.

“Ah,” he said. He tried to hide his smile. Anna set down her teacup.

“How long is she out today?” she asked.

“I don't know,” Tsuzuki said.

“Think we have time?” she asked.

“I don't know,” he said again.

“Want to see?” his wife asked. Tsuzuki grinned at her.

“This should be interesting,” he said. Anna stood up and walked over to him. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Anna happily kissed back. When was the last time they did this? It felt like it had been so long.

They made it back to their room. Anna fell back onto their futon. She looked up at him with hungry eyes. Tsuzuki climbed on top. He leaned down for a kiss. Anna happily accepted. She reached up and unbuttoned his shirt. She let her fingers trail down his skin. Tsuzuki pushed his tongue against her lips. Anna took the hint and gently parted them. Tsuzuki's tongue dove right in.

“Mmm,” Anna moaned. His shirt ended up halfway across the room. The shinigami reached for his wife's blue and white dress. No straps today. She smelt so good too. Tsuzuki broke off the kiss.

“Is that perfume?” he asked.

“Uh-huh,” Anna said. Her husband smiled.

“I like it,” he said. His hands grabbed her dress and slid it over her head. He tossed it across the room. Tsuzuki leaned down for another kiss. Anna kissed back. She grabbed onto his trousers.

Their clothes piled up near the door. Anna's panties were the last to go. She spread her legs for her husband. Tsuzuki gave her another kiss. Anna threw her arms around his neck. His tongue slipped into her mouth.

The rains had just finished. A girl walked down a dirt road. Her short midnight blue dress came down to her thighs. Her shoes didn't fit right. Still, she had to keep walking. The lush green and telephone poles led the way. Something called out to her. Her reddish-brown hair was pinned back.

She came down to a puddle in the middle of the road. Here? Little ripples danced on the surface. The girl reached down to touch the water. The chills ran through her body. A voice whispered in her ears.

Come home, baby girl. We all miss you.

Her body went stiff. First went her hand into the water. Then her arm. Soon, she disappeared into the puddle.

The girl slowly drew open her eyes. Water floated around her. However, breathing wasn't a problem. Her eyes darted around the place. A giant statue stood waiting for her. Vines of ivy covered the curved marble. The pedestal looked chipped. She walked up to the statue. Warmth raced through her body. She started to float upwards. The statue started to glow.

The girl broke through another surface. But she's not alone. A woman stood on the surface of the water. Her long silvery blue hair matched her dress. She held her arms out to the girl. The girl closed her mouth.

I am home, she muttered. She walked over to the shiny woman.

I know you, the girl said. The woman didn't speak. She reached up and touched her cheek. The girl's body felt like flying away. The woman gave her a kind smile.

Welcome home.

The girl's body disappeared into tiny bubbles.

When she opened her eyes, she appeared in calmer waters. Small white flowers floated around her. Colorful butterflies fluttered long the little bubbles. The girl found herself sitting on a light pink lily. She herself was all dressed in white. Her hair came loose around her shoulders. Everything around her was so peaceful. She closed her eyes and freed her mind.

Her body felt light. Red lily flowers grew around her. Birds flew to the surface. Even a tree grew behind the girl. She was laughing inside. It was then she knew.

I am home.

Tsuzuki rested his head on Anna's breasts.

“I missed this,” he said.

“Uh-huh,” she said. He looked up at her.

“Can we do this more often?” the shinigami asked. Anna ran her fingers through his short brown hair.

“Sure,” she said. The shinigami leaned up and kissed her. She kissed him back. Saturdays were still king.
