Well, I've read the reviews for the first chapter of my new Yu-Gi-Oh GX/Sailor Moon multi-crossover story and I've got to say that I'm pleased with the results. Plus, I've gotten an idea for Serena's and Jaden's `dark sides' that will be coming up in Chapter 3 of this story. Anyway, thank you for the support for my story. It was pretty awesome of you. Remember, this story is going to be `darker' than my `Destiny Stars' and plus, there is going to be some to a lot of OOC in this story. Next, I would like to give thanks and credit to inu-yusukekaiba102 and this author's story `The Demon' for the idea of the double duel between Jaden and another main character and the duel between Blaze and a main character in this story. He used this idea before I thought of it and this author, inu-yusukekaiba102, should be given credit for it. Chapter 2: Trail to Tears, Part 2

 

(Deep under the sands and lands of Egypt; within the tomb that the `Ceremonial Duel' took place)

 

Inside of the tomb that Yugi and Atem fought their `Ceremonial Duel' and Atem's spirit headed off into the afterlife, we find the tomb has been fully restored with the Millennium Stone holding the seven Millennium Items in front of the door to the spirit world. Kneeling in front of the Millennium Stone and the door to the afterlife is same female figure, the mysterious Sailor Scout, we saw watching our heartbroken Moon Princess. However, her features are still clouded by darkness and shadows. On the meanwhile, the door to the afterlife slowly sides open to reveal a familiar male figure with spiky red, yellow, and black hair, honey colored skin, and looks like an Ancient Egypt Pharaoh: Atem.

 

Atem exclaims, in his strong tone, “Who dares wake me from the eternal slumber of Osiris?”

 

The female figure replies, “It is, great king Atem.” When Atem looks down at the mysterious Sailor Scout, he looks into her eyes and gasps.

 

Atem exclaims, shocked, “It's you! Sister to Endymon!”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout nods her head and says, “Yes, it is good to see you, again.”

 

Atem asks the mysterious Sailor Scout, “Why did you wake me?”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout replies, “The Millennium Items are needed again to restore balance to the universe. The Darklight prophecy has begun, King Atem.”

 

Atem gasps in shock and exclaims, seriously, “Are you sure?!”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout nods her head and says, “Yes. The avatar of the evil light has arrived in a place known as Duel Academy, a school for inspiring duelists created by your old rival, Seto Kaiba, to train the next generation. It has been over a decade since you have saved the world, King Atem.”

 

Atem nods his head and says, seriously, “I see. Go on.”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout says, “The avatar, known as Sartorius, has brainwashed many within the student body of Duel Academy. He plans to brainwash the entire world to worship this evil light and unfortunately, the Moon Princess, her beloved, and her friends, who are part of Duel Academy in one form or another, are involved. The Moon Princess is one of the four `Chosen Duelists' of the next generation that can stop him, but she is locked in despair and sorrow. The evil light has already taken her friends and her beloved into his evil cult known as the Society of Light.”

 

Atem gasps in horror and exclaims, “Your brother and Princess Serenity's guardians are under the control of this evil light?”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scouts says, solemnly, “I'm afraid so. Only the guardian of the Gates of Time remains outside of Sartorius' control. Plus, Jaden Yuki, reincarnation of Prince Judai Serenity, Princess Serenity's brother, has also lost the girl that he loves and all, but one, of his friends. He is the second of the four `Chosen Duelists'.”

 

Atem tells the mysterious Sailor Scout, “I see. And as the prophecy states, only the power of Shadows or Life can counter the evil of the Darklight. So, the next successors to the Shadow Games after my former Aibou, Yugi, must be given the seven items to restore balance.”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout nods her head and says, “Yes, Atem. However, in their condition, I can't guarantee that they won't lose themselves to darkness of the Millennium Items or the other great power of darkness that the positive forces have to stop the evil of Darklight.”

 

Atem tells the mysterious Sailor Scout, “We can only pray. I sensed the imbalance within my slumber and I know what must be done. Bring the Millennium Stone and the seven items to Duel Academy and make sure that Princess Serenity, Prince Judai, and another of the `Chosen Duelists' get Millennium Items at once!”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout says, “Right away, King Atem.”

 

Atem tells the mysterious Sailor Scout, “Before I return to my slumber, know that if you need any advice, pray on the Millennium Stone and call my name with the seven items. Plus, the `Chosen Duelists' will need these as well.” Atem then closes his eyes and chants something in ancient Egyptian causing three lights, one blue, one red, and one yellow, to come out from behind him and land in the mysterious Sailor Scout's right hand, transforming into three cards, one with a blue `back', one with a red `back', and the last one with a yellow `back'.

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout says, gasping in shock, “King Atem, are you sure that this is right?”

 

Atem tells the mysterious Sailor Scout, “As the successors to the Shadow Games for the next generation and being connected with my past, the Chosen Duelists can weld the powers of the gods as easily as I did. Now, you know what to do.”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout nods her head and says, “Yes, King Atem.”

 

Atem then says, “One favor, if you please.”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout asks, curiously, “Yes?”

 

Atem tells the mysterious Sailor Scout says, “If you see Sailor Pluto and Queen Serenity, if anything happens to the Moon Prince and Princess, tell them that I am truly sorry.”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scouts nods her head and says, “Yes, I will most definitely do that. In fact, I wish that the gods of the Silver Millennium and the Egyptian Gods may have mercy on both of our souls.”

 

Atem nods his head and says, “Indeed, Sailor Earth. Farewell.” Atem then goes back into the spirit world and the doors to the afterlife close behind him.

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout, Sailor Earth, looks down at the seven items and thinks, “Goddess Selene, protector of the White Moon family and goddess of the moon, may you forgive me for what I'm about to put your children through. Forgive me, Queen Serenity.”

 

(Back in Duel Academy; Shortly after we left our Moon Princess)

 

Returning to Duel Academy, we find our Moon Princess, still heartbroken after her loss of her beloved to the Society of Light, weeping over the picture of her friends and continuing to think about what happened that led to this terrible present.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Goddess Selene, we . . . I should have been more prepared for what happened . . . we knew that evil come to Duel Academy . . . we just didn't know what . . . and now, it is too late . . . my friends and Darien-chan . . . belong to him . . . Sartorius . . . now . . . How could this have happened after all we've been through? I think that it began in the aftermath of what happened between Aster and Jaden and their duel. We took Jaden to the infirmary and we knew he was infected with an evil power, but Jaden's will and spirit was too strong and he remained free from it's control. However, we learned that Sartorius, even through we didn't know it was him at the time, and his power did `damage' Jaden . . .”

 

Flashback; Aftermath of Aster's and Jaden's second duel

 

We find Syrus, in his Ra Yellow uniform, running down towards the infirmary where he finds a group of Ra Yellow and Slifer Red students in front of the door.

 

One male Ra Yellow said, “Did you hear? Jaden Yuki can't duel anymore.”

 

One male Slifer Red student says, “Yeah. I heard that he can't see his cards anymore.”

 

Syrus yells out, “Make way! Coming through!” The Ra and Slifer students look to see Syrus trying to get through them and they were yelling at him until all of them fall over into the infirmary/nurse's office where Chazz, Bastion, Alexis, Tyranno, Serena and her friends, Darien, and Jaden, sitting in a chair in front of Ms. Fontaine, who was examining him.

 

Chazz asks, annoyed, “What are all of you, dorks, doing here?”

 

All of the Ra and Slifer students get to their feet and exclaim, worriedly and in unison, “Chazz!”

 

Chazz tells them, “Boo!” All of the Slifer and Ra students, other than Syrus, then run off in fear of Chazz.

 

Rei says, plainly, “I've got to say this much for him. He really knows how to get rid of a crowd.”

 

Chazz growls, annoyed, “Hey! I heard that!”

 

Syrus tells Jaden, “Jaden, please tell me that this is some kind of joke! I've heard from someone that knows someone's cousin that told me that you can't duel anymore! Tell me that this is some kind of rumor!”

 

Chazz tells Syrus, “The only rumor is when it was told that you hit, puberty. This isn't.” Chazz takes Jaden's deck from his black coat, hands it to Syrus, and says, “According to Jaden, all of his cards are blank. Pitch white blank.”

 

Syrus exclaims, “This is terrible! But I don't see anything wrong with them.”

 

Ms. Fontaine tells Syrus, “The cards aren't the problem. During Jaden's last duel, something happened to him.”

 

Ami asks, curiously, “Is there anything we can do for him?”

 

Ms. Fontaine replies, “I wish that was possible, Ami. Until we figured what happened to him during that duel, I don't think there is a way any of us can help him.”

 

Jaden rises to his feet and says, “Oh, well. What are you going to do?” Jaden goes to his feet, takes his deck from Syrus, puts it in his card pouch attached to his belt, and starts to walk off.

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “Jaden, where are you going?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, solemnly, “I need to chill a while, Syi.” Jaden then heads out the door, leaving everyone with solemn expression on their faces.

 

Lita asks Ami, in a whisper, “Ami, did Atriums and Luna tell you anything that could help us?”

 

Mina shakes her head and says, whispering, “They're not sure about what happened to Jaden, but they told us if evil, which most likely has, come to Duel Academy, we need to be on guard. Plus, we should keep an eye on Jaden. If they used the duel to get him for something, they must need Jaden for some reason.”

 

Ami tells Lita, whispering, “Plus, they told us that we need to figure out why an evil force would want Jaden for?”

 

Serena says, in a whisper and solemnly, “This is great. We come to Duel Academy for an awesome chance for some fun and to prepare ourselves for the future and a new evil has to come.”

 

Rei tells Serena, in a whisper and confidently, “Don't get your skirt up in a bunch, Serena. I'm sure whatever evil comes our way, we can handle it.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back to our lonely and heartbroken Moon Princess, Serena thinks in her mind, “But Rei was wrong. We weren't prepared for this type of evil, blinding and brainwashing others with an evil light, and hiding under `saving the world' by `bringing people into the light' and now . . . my friends and Darien are under the control of this evil and aiding him. I don't get why did Jaden and I have to be two of these `Chosen Duelists' that he needed to complete his plans. If he wanted us, why didn't he have to come after us instead of taking our friends away from us? I guess he wanted to weaken us and it sure worked. I'm not sure if I can do this without my friends and Darien by my side and plus, even if I have to face them in battle, I'm not sure I can face them. I wished that I followed the warning that the dreams gave me . . .”

 

Flashback; Shortly after Jaden vanished from Duel Academy

 

We find one evening, our Moon Princess, wearing a simple and beautiful pink nightgown heading off to bed in her fancy room within the Obelisk Blue Girls' dorm. Just sometime ago, our group of heroes and heroines found out that Jaden had vanished and most likely, ran away, from Duel Academy. Our Sailor Scouts and Earth Prince went out to find him because Luna and Atriums feel that an evil force was targeting Jaden that he had to be someone of great importance and they needed to find him fast. However, their efforts were all for not because Academy Island was larger than they thought and there was the possibility that Jaden took a boat off the island.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “I'm really worried about Jaden. He seemed to disappear without a trace. If Luna is right about him being important to some evil force, what if they already got to him already? I can't help to feel real worried for him. Not because he is a new friend along with Alexis and his other friends, but I feel . . . a certain . . . `connection' to him. Did I have other friends back in the Moon Kingdom? Well, wherever he is . . . I hope that he is all right . . .” Serena then goes onto her bed and falls into a deep sleep. Soon after, Serena finds herself looking around in an area that looks like a pitch white canvas used by painters. Serena calls out, perplexed, “What's going on here?! Where am I?!”

 

Just then Hotaru's voice calls out, worriedly, “Serena-hime!” Just then Serena turns to the source of the voice to see all of her friends, minus Trista, and Darien running towards her.

 

Serena shouts out, worriedly, “What's wrong?!” Serena then gasps in shock as a bright violet eyes appear in the sky above her and a powerful white light rushes towards them. Ami, Lita, and Hotaru scream out as they are absorbed by the white light first, then Amara and Michelle hold hands and scream out as they are absorbed by the white light, and finally, Rei and Mina scream out as they are also absorbed by the white light. Serena screams out, horrified, “No, girls!”

 

Darien runs up to Serena and exclaims, “No, Serena!” Darien leaps towards Serena and covers her with his shadow as the white light absorbs him as well.

 

Serena shouts out, horrified, “No, Darien! Girls! What's going on here?!” Just then an evil cackle is heard and Serena looks up in horror to see the bright violet eyes looking down on her.

 

An evil male voice calls out, “They belong to the light, now, Princess! And soon, you and the whole world will join them in the light!” Soon enough, the white light closes in on Serena and she screams out in horror as it nears her. Next, we find our Moon Princess sitting up in her bed in a cold sweat and breathing heavily.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Oh my god! What . . . What was that dream? A vision of what's to come?”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning back to the present day, we find Serena still looking over the old picture of her friends, Darien, and her and thinks, “I wasn't sure what that dream meant? And I didn't want the others to worry, so, I didn't say a thing, but I should have told them about my dream. It could have saved them. The next `warning' should have been when we found Chazz Princeton that following morning with his `new wardrobe' . . .”

 

Flashback; The following morning after Chazz `meets' Sartorius

 

Today, we find our Sailor Scout team and Earth Prince along with Luna and Atriums walking towards the Slifer Red dorm to check on Jaden's friends, Alexis, Tyranno, Syrus, Bastion, and Chazz to see how they are doing with the `loss' of Jaden.

 

Mina asks, curiously, “Do you think that they are okay?”

 

Rei tells Mina, “Mina, they lost their best friend. How do you think they are feeling right now?”

 

Lita looks ahead of her and says, surprised, “Maybe you should see for yourself.” Everyone looks to where Lita is looking and they are shocked to see Chazz wearing a white with whitish-blue version of the male Obelisk Blue uniform.

 

Mina states, perplexed, “I didn't know that white was in style now.”

 

Ami asks Darien, “Is this allowed in the school's dress code?”

 

Serena states, perplexed, “What dress code? They always allow Chazz to wear that black uniform from North Academy when he was on their side.”

 

Chazz turns around to see the group and says, “Well, if it isn't the rising princess of Obelisk Blue and her little girlfriends.”

 

Rei says, drolly, “Nice to see you, too.”

 

Lita asks, seriously, “What's with the weird white outfit?”

 

Chazz snickers and says, with a sly grin, “You might think it weird now, but you will be wearing white soon enough.”

 

Mina says, a bit nervously, “Sorry, I usually don't wear clothes not in fashion.”

 

Chazz replies, with a sly grin, “Oh, your opinion will soon change . . . when you see the light.” Chazz then gives his typical laugh and walks away from the group.

 

Serena says, plainly, “All right. He has gone from a jerk to just plain nuts!”

 

Lita nods her head and says, “No kidding, Serena! Who or what messed up his brain? Not that he had much to being with.”

 

Rei, Amara, Luna, Atriums, and Trista look at Chazz with intense stares in their eyes and Luna thinks in her mind, “I'm getting a weird feeling from Chazz Princeton and I'm not sure that it is a good thing. We had better keep an eye on him.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, once more, Serena thinks in her mind, “We thought that Chazz had gone insane or something. Most of us didn't suspect that he had been brainwashed by an evil force. An evil force named Sartorius. However, Jaden's friends had other things to worry about. The first problem came when we saw one of Zane's latest duels after his transformation . . .”

 

Flashback; inthe aftermath of Zane's duel in the Underground

 

Within the redesigned part of the Slifer Red dorm, we find Jasmine, Mindy, Alexis, Tyranno, Bastion, Syrus, and Atticus watching the television with wide eyes of shock as Serena, Hotaru, and the rest of the Inner Sailor Scouts coming into the room.

 

Hotaru asks everyone, “What's wrong everyone?”

 

Bastion points towards the television and says, plainly, “See for yourselves.” When Serena and her friends look towards the television and they see Zane Truesdale in his new `Hell Kaiser' persona and look.

 

The television announcer says, “And that's another win for Zane Truesdale. He's fighting like a man possessed. Could his recent success be in his edgy new look? Well, whatever the case is, Zane Truesdale is back on top.”

 

Lita exclaims, stunned, “Whoa! Is that Syrus' older brother?!”

 

Ami tells Lita, “It would seem so.”

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “What with the whole `Goth' look?”

 

Syrus thinks in his mind, “I know my brother and he would never duel like that! Whoever that is . . . It's not Zane!”

 

End Flashback; Back to the Present

 

Coming back to the present time, once more, Serena thinks, “What we were quick to realize that Zane has totally turned bad . . . real bad! He started to call himself the `Hell Kaiser' now and his personality did a whole one-eighty. He used to respect his cards and his opponent, but then he turned into a ruthless duelist that shows his opponent's no respect and no mercy. In which, he only seems to care about victory. On the meanwhile, Hotaru, Mina, Lita, and Rei got their own promotion exams and passed, giving them entrance into Obelisk Blue. Luna and Atriums, however, had to stay with Trista because Crowler doesn't like cats. What a jerk! I was so glad that all of my friends are with me in the same dorm together, but then new problems came up. That rotten little jerk, Vice Chancellor Bonaparte, still wanted to tear down the Slifer Red dorm, so, he forced Alexis into a duel against Aster Phoenix. However, what that rotten little freak and the rest of us didn't know is that Alexis won't be dueling Aster, but a certain Slifer Red who came back stronger than ever with new cards that are like my friends and me in a way . . . out of this world . . .”

 

Flashback;Aster's third duel in Duel Academy

 

Within Obelisk Arena, we find Crowler, Bonaparte, Tyranno, Syrus, Bastion, Serena and her friends, with Hotaru, Lita, Rei, and Mina wearing female Obelisk Blue uniforms now, Darien, and the two guardian felines, hiding of course, in the stands as Alexis prepares to duel Aster for the fate of the Slifer Red dorm. Bonaparte makes the announcement that if Alexis loses to Aster Phoenix, the Slifer Red dorm is gone.

 

Alexis calls out, “Not going to happen!”

 

Aster tells Alexis, “Then get your game on!”

 

They prepared their decks to duel, but then a familiar male voice, “Hey! That's my line!” Everyone gasps in shock since they recognized that voice.

 

Syrus asks, shocked, “Did you hear that?” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Jaden Yuki running up towards all of them.

 

Serena and her friends along with Jaden's friends yell out in unison, “Jaden!”

 

Alexis exclaims, excitedly, “You're back!”

 

Jaden yells out, “Did you miss me?!” Jaden then runs over to his friends, waves to Aster as he passes by, and says, “What's up?” Aster gives a growl of annoyance at seeing Jaden.

 

Alexis comes down from the dueling field and tells Jaden, “Welcome back.”

 

Syrus tells Jaden, “Where have you been, Jaden?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, with a smile, “Well, Syrus, I've been where no duelist has been before.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, nastily, “Could you have stayed there?”

 

Jaden tells Aster, with his sly grin, “No way! There was no oxygen and they didn't have any cable.” Jaden then says, with a smile, “You see, I went into outer space and meet this dolphin man. And he gave some sweet new cards for my deck.” Everyone gives Jaden a perplexed look, especially Serena and her friends.

 

Rei whispers curiously, “Did that last duel drop him on his head or something? No one can go into outer space without a space-ship.”

 

Lita whispers back, “Well, we did a few times.”

 

Rei tells Lita, whispering, “That was different, Lita! We're Sailor Scouts.”

 

Syrus says, groaning solemnly, “Ah, man! All of the good stuff happens to Jaden.”

 

Tyranno states, “And I thought dueling a guy with a bag over his head was weird.”

 

Jaden tells Tyranno, “Believe me, it gets weirder. After chilling back here on Earth, I met up with two more alien dudes.” Jaden then tells the story about how he met Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab, also known as Flick, and Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird as well as getting back his ability to see Winged Kuriboh. Jaden then says, “Pretty sweet, huh? Now, my deck is even sweeter than before.” Jaden then calls out to Aster, “Hey, Aster, how would you like to have the honor of being the first to lose to my new deck?! Because I've got a new set of heroes that you've never seen before!”

 

Aster yells out, annoyed, “You're nuts! I told you already that there are no heroes on Earth that can stand up to mine!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, a bit annoyed, “I told you that my new heroes come from outer space, not Earth.” Aster gives a growl of anger and annoyance at Jaden.

 

Bastion tells Jaden, “Jaden, maybe you should rest. I mean, do you really believe there is a race of `fish people'?”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, “Of course not. Their dolphin people not fish. There is a difference.”

 

Bastion says, nervously, “Oh, my bad.”

 

Amara asks Trista, in a whisper, “What do you think about what Jaden is saying, Trista?”

 

Trista tells Amara, “I do not believe that Jaden is lying because his voice and tone are so sure that it can't be said that he was hallucinating as well.”

 

Rei says, in a whisper, “Okay, alien Duel Monsters? Jaden has got to be imagining things or something.”

 

Mina tells Rei, in a whisper, “Well, remember Rei, we are the reincarnations of Princesses from other planets.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, “Let me take your place, Alexis. I need to do this.” Alexis looks at Jaden, surprised, as he jumps onto the duel stage and he calls out, “Thanks! You won't regret this!”

 

Bonaparte says, protest, “That's not fair!”

 

Bastion tells Bonaparte, “Sure it is. Jaden lives in the Slifer Red dorm as well so he has much of a right to fight for it.”

 

Crowler exclaims, “All right! It's a rematch!” Crowler whispers to Bonaparte, “The crowd will love this.”

 

Bonaparte tells Crowler, “You are letting those slackers run all over you again.”

 

Jaden yells out, excitedly, “Thanks, Chancellor Crowler! You're the best! You don't how much I missed dueling!”

 

Aster tells Jaden, nastily, “Do you miss losing as well?”

 

Alexis throws Jaden her duel disk, minus her dueling deck, Jaden catches it, and Alexis tells him, “Go get him!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Thanks, `Lex. You're the best! I owe you one!” Alexis tries her best to hide her blush as Jaden inserts his new `Neos deck' into the duel disk and attached the duel disk to his left arm.

 

Crowler calls out, “All right, that's enough! Let the duel begin!”

 

Jaden exclaims, excitedly and seriously, “Works for me!”

 

The two duelists draw five cards from their decks and call out in unison, “Game on!”

 

Starting Scores:

Jaden: 4000

Aster: 4000

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “I'll kick things off!” Aster puts one card on his duel disk and exclaims, “And what better way to start off the hurt than with my Diamond Dude?!” Soon after, a green hurricane comes on the field and forms into Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) appearing on the field in attack mode.

 

Syrus says, shocked, “Wow. That's some start.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, “It's powerful, but nothing that Jaden can't handle.”

 

Aster then draws one card from his deck and says, “Now, it is time for some special effect action! I draw the top card in my deck and if it is a Normal Spell card, I can send it to my graveyard and use it next turn!” Aster says, displaying a Graceful Charity spell card, “Now for the moment of truth! Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, “So do I! My move!” Jaden looks at the cards in his hand and the card he just drew. Jaden then puts one card on his duel disk and calls out, “You aren't the only one that can start with a hero! And believe me, this bad boy is guaranteed to make a splash! So, meet Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin!” A wave comes on the field and out of the wave of water Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin (600/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster and practically everyone else gasps in shock at the new monster and Jaden says, with a smile, “Told my new heroes are out of this world!”

 

Bastion says, amazed, “It's true! They are aliens!”

 

Rei asks Ami, “Ami, did you hear about these `Neo-whatever' that Jaden just played?”

 

Ami shakes her head and says, “No. Never. Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin isn't a monster on any card database.”

 

Mina says, amazed, “It looks like Jaden was telling the truth and wasn't dreaming everything that he told us about.”

 

Trista thinks in her mind, amazed, “Unbelievable! I thought those creatures were just legends!”

 

Jaden then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Fake Hero spell card! Here's how it works: I can summon one monster from my hand, but I can't attack with it and it comes back to hand at the end of turn!” Jaden puts one card on the spell/trap slots and states, “So, come on out, Bladedge!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, “And since Aqua Dolphin's ability is in the house! I can ditch one card from my hand to take a monster from yours!” Just then Jaden discards his Hero Kid (300/600) monster card to his graveyard, Aqua Dolphin shoots waves of sound towards Aster's deck, and Jaden calls out, “And the unlucky winner is . . .!” Soon after, a hologram of Destiny Hero-Captain Tenacious (800/800) appears on the field.

 

Aster exclaims, shocked, “No! Not him!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, motioning to his Bladedge, “Now, I choose one monster on my side of the field and if mine has more attack points then yours goes bye-bye! Oh, and you lose five hundred life-points.” Just then the hologram of Captain Tenacious explodes and Aster yells out as he loses 500 life-points as well.

 

Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots, “I'll throw down two face-downs . . .” The hologram of Elemental Hero Bladedge fades off the field as Jaden puts the card back in his hand and Jaden then states, “. . .Take back Bladedge and chill out!”

Aster tells Jaden, nastily, “Lucky shot!” Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “Now, it is my move! Time for Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and then discard two from my hand! Now, pay attention class!” Aster draws three cards from his deck, discards his Destiny Hero-Doom Lord (600/800) and Ring of Magnetism Equip Spell card to his graveyard, his Field Spell slot opens up, Aster puts a card inside, and he exclaims, “Now, I play a Field Spell! Mausoleum of the Emperor!” Just then the whole field transformed into some kind of ancient mausoleum with two rock platforms linked by a small narrow bridge with a stairway connected to the platform that Aster was on that lead to a two stone pillars side by side with a flame contained by something in the middle and below them was a foggy valley with hundreds of statues. Aster then says, “And just to make this place even creepier, there are statues in the basement, which we both can use. All we have to do is give up some life-points.” Aster's life-points drop by 1000 and two ancient Chinese statues rise up from the foggy basement. Aster then says, “Next, we can use these statues to summon monsters. So, I call to the field my Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster!” The two statues vanish as they are sacrificed and from the sky, Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster (0/0) lands on the field behind Aster in attack mode. Aster then states, “And now that the master of dread is here. I can summon two heroes from the graveyard! And I choose Doom Lord and Captain Tenacious!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Doom Lord (600/800) and Destiny Hero-Captain Tenacious (800/800) come to the field in attack mode. Aster then shouts out, “And Dreadmaster's attack and defense points are the sum of their attack points!” Dreadmaster's stats rise from 0/0 to 2800/2800! Aster then points at Jaden's new monster and says, “Okay, dolphin boy, let's see what kind of tricks you can do!” Jaden gives a serious look and Aster calls out, “Dreadmaster, turn flipper into fish sticks!” Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster leaps into the air to attack Neo-Spacian Aqua Dolphin.

 

Jaden calls out, “Hold it, muscle head! Negate Attack!” Jaden's face-down card was revealed to be the Negate Attack trap card and a huge twist stops Dreadmaster in his tracks. Jaden tells Aster, “Thanks to this, your attack is over before it began! That's all she wrote pal!”

 

Aster yells back, angrily, “Listen up! I'm not your pal!”

 

Back in audience, Tyranno says, “Someone is touché.”

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, “Sheesh. Just trying to be nice.” When Jaden looks at the card, he says, “Hey, Aster, thanks for the lowdown on your Field Spell!” Jaden's life-points drop by 1000, two statues come to his side of the field, and Jaden says, as they are sacrificed and he puts a card on his duel disk, “I sacrifice these guys and then I'm going to summon HIM! My Elemental Hero Neos!”

 

Aster yells out, “There is no such thing, dude! I know every hero there is!” But just then from a hologram of the Milky Way, Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Back in the audience, Serena asks Ami, “Did you hear of this monster before?”

 

Ami tells Serena, “No, Serena. There is no mention of `Elemental Hero Neos' in any Elemental Hero series of cards.”

 

Mina asks Rei, “Do you think it is possible that Jaden went into outer space and met actual alien Duel Monsters?”

 

Rei tells Mina, “If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't believe it.” Rei thinks in her mind, “But then again, with all of the things that I've seen as Sailor Mars, things like this aren't impossible.”

 

Trista thinks in her mind, seriously, “So, the mythical Neo-Spacians, the inhabitants of Neo-Space, finally appear, but legends speak that they will only come down when the balance of life is threatened in a way that they need to be summoned. The legends speak of an evil light and they will choose one from a group of chosen warriors to use the `Darkness of Justice' to restore balance to the universe. No one before has seen the Neo-Spacians, but I can tell that it is them! And it looks like legends are coming to pass. The Neo-Spacians have brought forth their `champion' and it is Jaden Yuki. So, another battle for the universe begins . . .”

 

Back on the dueling field, Aster says, annoyed, “Fine! But I bet he is totally lame! Come on, spaceman, zap me with your ray gun!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, with his usual smile, “He doesn't have one, but he does have a cool trick! You see, Neo-Spacians love to work together and when I have one with Elemental Hero Neos, I can combine them to form a new monster.” Aster's eyes widen at Jaden's statement and Jaden exclaims, “All right! It is time for some Contact Fusion! Aquos! Combine with Neos to form the Elemental Hero . . . Aqua Neos!” The two monsters leap into the air as their cards were return to Jaden's deck, Jaden takes a fusion monster card out of his fusion deck, Aqua Dolphin swims through water and goes through the air, Neos joins him as they `collide' in a bright light as Jaden puts the card on his duel disk, and Elemental Hero Aqua Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Back in the audience, Alexis asks, stunned, “No way! Did Jaden really go into outer space?”

 

Syrus replies, “It would seem so.”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “Watch what he can do! If I discard one card from my hand, you lose two random cards from your hand! So, I will toss out good old Bladedge!” Jaden discards his Elemental Hero Bladedge monster card, Aqua Neos shoots beams from his eyes, they hit two random cards from Aster's hand, and they vanish as they are sent to the graveyard. Jaden then calls out, “Next, I reveal my face-down! H-Heated Heart!” Jaden's other face-down card is revealed to be the H-Heated Heart spell card and Jaden says, “Thanks to this card, my Aqua Neos gets stronger by five hundred more attack points!” Aqua Neos gives a blue glow as its stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000! Jaden calls out, “Aqua Neos, destroy his Dreadmaster with Sonic Zoom!” Elemental Hero Aqua Neos launches a twister of water energy that slams into Dreadmaster and destroying it in a huge explosion costing Aster 200 life-points. Jaden exclaims, excitedly, “Gotcha!”

 

In the audience, Alexis says, with a smile, “Not bad.”

 

Tyranno exclaims, excitedly, “Excellent work! You've just dismissed his highest ranking soldier!”

 

Back in the dueling field, Aster growls, angrily, “My Dreadmaster . . . destroyed. Your Martian mutant is nothing to my Destiny Heroes!”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “That's funny. Because . . .” But just then Aqua Neos gives a bright glow and Jaden looks as he vanishes returning to his deck. Jaden gasps in shock and says, “Neos!”

 

Back in the audience, Syrus asks, perplexed, “Where did he go?”

 

Tyranno says, also surprised, “I think he retreated.”

 

Back on the dueling field, Jaden asks his deck, in a bit of a panic, “Um . . . Mr. Neos, we are in the middle of something!”

 

Back to the audience, Bastion says, “If you ask me, Jaden has to learn more about the power of his new deck.”

 

Ami says, in her logical tone, “This new type of fusion must have a drawback. Most likely, the fusion monster formed this way can only remain on the field for one turn.”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Lita says, “That's not good.”

 

Syrus says, “Oh, man! That leaves Jaden defenseless!”

Back on the dueling field, Aster says, with a sly grin as he draws one card from his deck, “Since you are fresh out of monsters, I think it's time to show what real monsters can do! And the best way to do is through this! A triple attack!” Aster then calls out, “Doom Lord! Captain Tenacious! And Diamond Dude! Let's do this! Direct Attack!” The three named monsters leaped into the air and dive down on Jaden, landing three direct hits on Jaden, knocking him to the ground and costing him 2800 life-points at once.

 

Tyranno and Syrus yell in unison from the audience, “Jaden!”

 

Lita exclaims, shocked, “He seriously got nailed that time!”

 

Hotaru says, “Jaden-sempai lost nearly all of his life-points.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, “First, you will lose your life-points and then you will lose your dorm!”

 

Jaden gets to his feet and says, with his usual smile, “What's your rush Phoenix? I mean come on, I was just getting warmed up! Now, the real duel can begin!”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning to our Moon Princess resting by the tree, Serena thinks, “For Jaden, it was better said than done! He had no cards on the field and none in his hand! However, he made an amazing come back with more help from these new `Neo-Spacian' monsters, including some kind of alien hummingbird that looks similar to a woodpecker and a huge muscular bug known as Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab, who looks pretty good for some kind of overgrown humanoid bug. Jaden was holding his own better than before, but things looked grim when Aster summoned his most powerful Destiny Hero yet . . . Destiny Hero-Dogma and he prepared to attack Jaden, who only had two face-downs, Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab with only nine hundred attack points and three Hero Kids . . .”

 

Flashback; nearingthe end of Aster's and Jaden's third duel

 

Returning to Aster's and Jaden's third duel, Aster has his Dark City Field Spell in play with Destiny Hero-Dogma (3400/2400) and Aster has 200 life-points left while Jaden has Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (900/500), powered up thanks to its ability, in attack mode and three Hero Kids (300/600 X 3) in defense mode, two face-down cards, and 300 life-points remaining. But it was Aster's turn and Dogma was about to attack.

 

Aster yells out, “Dogma, attack his Flare Scarab! Destroy him!” Destiny Hero-Dogma launches a wave of dark violet energy right at Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab.

 

Jaden calls out, “You've triggered my trap! Kid Guard!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Kid Guard trap card and Jaden says, “With this, I can sacrifice one of my Hero Kids to negate your attack and then I can take an Elemental Hero from anywhere in my deck and add it to my hand!” One of the Hero Kid monsters leaps in front of Flare Scarab with his arms crosses, nods at Flare Scarab, and the attack slams into him causing the attack to be negate as the Hero Kid fades away.

 

Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab says, mentally, “I won't let your sacrifice be in vain!” Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab looks at Jaden and tells him, telepathically, “Jaden, you must harness the powers of Neos!” Jaden nods his head, goes through his deck, takes out one card, puts his deck back in his duel disk, and says, displaying his Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) card, “It comes down to this! I choose my Elemental Hero Neos to join my hand!”

 

Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll place a face-down and end my turn!”

 

Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab gives off some flames, its stats rise to 1300/500, and Jaden tells Aster, with a smile, “Remember, with every face-down, my Scarab gets stronger.”

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, “All right! Go time!”

 

Just then Aster yells out, “Not so fast! Go, Dogma!” Just then Destiny Hero-Dogma gives off a bright violet glow and Jaden yells out as he is engulfed by the same powerful violet glow. Aster tells Jaden, “Didn't you know? When Dogma is successfully summoned to the field, your life-points get cut in half during your next Standby Phase!” When the glow dies down, Jaden's life-points are cut in half.

 

Returning to the audience, Syrus exclaims, worriedly, “He's almost out of points.”

 

Tyranno states, “This isn't good!”

 

Bastion tells everyone, “One more hit and he's done.”

 

Lita exclaims, “Oh, come on! This duel isn't over, yet!”

 

Ami tells Lita, “I hate to agree, but Bastion's right. If that Dogma does hit Jaden's life-points, he's finished.”

 

Alexis says, lowly, “Come on, Jaden . . .”

 

Bonaparte exclaims, in his French accent, “That kid's flambé!”

 

Crowler says, nervously, “I can't watch!”

 

Back on the dueling field, Jaden laughs and says, excitedly, “Not bad! But I've got some fight left in me!”

 

Aster tells Jaden, with his own sly smile, “Come on, dude! There is not a card in your deck that can stop me!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “Well, maybe not with my old deck, but my new deck is a whole different story! In fact, let me show you, but busting out a new hero that no one has seen before!”

 

Aster asks, seriously, “What new hero?!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, as his Field Spell slot opens, “You'll see! But first I play the Field Spell: Neo-Space!” When Jaden puts the card in the Field Spell slot and it closes, Aster's Dark City shatters into pieces and is replaced by a rainbow colored aurora field.

 

Aster exclaims, “My Dark City!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “Thanks to this Field Spell, my Elemental Hero Neos gains five hundred extra attack points! But you must be wondering: Where is Neos?” Both Hero Kids on the field nod their heads and leap into air, Jaden puts his card on his duel disk, points into the air, and exclaims, “The answer is: He's right up there!” Looking up, both Hero Kids vanish in a bright light and Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) takes their place in attack mode. Jaden tells Aster, “And like I said before, his attack points rise!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000!

 

Aster tells Jaden, not impressed, “So, what? He is no match for my Dogma!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “Hold on! Did I say I was done? Now, where was I? Oh, yeah! Now, I create a new monster by combining these two together!” Neos and Flare Scarab leap into the air as the two monster cards were sent back to Jaden's deck while Jaden takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck.

 

Aster yells out, “That's against the rules!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “It's Contact Fusion and its legit! You see, Neo-Spacians can combine without a Polymerization card!” The two monsters combine in a bright light while Jaden puts the card on his duel disk.

 

While the hero is forming, Aster covers his eyes and says, feeling something inside me, “I remember this feeling. It's like before when dueling was fun.” Soon after, a humanoid monster with red and black beetle-like scales, two beetle-like horns going up from his head, and deep green eyes floats down to the field. Aster asks Jaden, “So, this is your new hero, huh?”

 

Jaden tells Aster, with a smile, “That's him! Elemental Hero Flare Neos!” Elemental Hero Flare Neos has 2500/2000 stats and Jaden tells Aster, “And guess what? His special ability gives him four hundred attack points for every spell and trap on the field! With three cards, it gives him twelve hundred more attack points, but thanks to Neo-Space, Flare Neos gain five hundred more attack points, giving him a total of seventeen hundred more attack points!” Elemental Hero Flare Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 4200/2000!

 

Aster exclaims, shocked, “That's enough to beat my Dogma!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, “Yep! That's the point!” Jaden then yells out, commandingly, “Flare Neos, attack!” Flare Neos launches a blast of flames from his hands right Destiny Hero-Dogma.

 

Aster shouts out, “I activate D-Shield!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the D-Shield trap card, Destiny Hero-Dogma switches to defense mode, and a powerful shield negates Flare Neos' attack.

 

Jaden asks, perplexed, “What's that?”

 

Aster replies, with a sly smile, “It's a trap card. When a Destiny Hero is attacked, this card switches to defense mode and it remains on the field. And it will continue to remain on the field as long as my trap card is equipped to him.”

 

Jaden tells Aster, with a smile, “Nice trap, Aster. Really.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, with his sly smile, “Thank you, but flattery will get you no where.”

Aster draws one card and exclaims, “Stand back!” Aster then says, seeing Elemental Hero Flare Neos still on the field, “I'm going to guess that your Field Spell keeps your monster from vanishing this time.”

 

Jaden smiles and says, “That's right! As long as Neo-Space is on the field, even through he's fused with something else, Neos is sticking around this time.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, “Not quite. My Dogma and I have other plans.” Aster looks at the card he drew and says, “First things first, I switch Dogma to attack mode. So, stand up!” Destiny Hero-Dogma switches from defense mode back to attack mode, Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next, I will equip him with this spell card! Heavy Storm Blade!” Just then a huge windmill like blade appears attached to Dogma's right arm.

 

Jaden then says, “Remember, for every spell card, my Flare Neos gets stronger. Four hundred points stronger!” Elemental Hero Flare Neos' stats then increase from 4200/2000 to 4600/2000!

 

Aster yells out, “Do you think I care?! Not as long as destiny has got my back! Now, attack!” Destiny Hero-Dogma leaps into the air as it prepares to attack Flare Neos.

 

Back in the audience, the others gasp in shock and disbelief, Rei exclaims, “What the?! Has he gone nuts?! His monster is weaker than Jaden's Neos!”

 

Tyranno says, “Yeah, so, why would he engage it?”

 

Back in the dueling ring, Aster yells out, “Good question. And I can answer it with just four words: My Heavy Storm Blade! Now, see for yourself!” Just then the huge windmill like blade starts to spin and a huge wind comes over the field. Aster calls out, “When a monster with Heavy Storm Blade attacks, all spell and trap cards other than itself is automatically destroyed!” Just then Aster's D-Shield, Jaden's face-down, and his Field Spell are destroyed.

 

Jaden calls out, “No way!” Just then the field returns to normal when the huge wind stops blowing.

 

Aster tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “Now, Neos loses a few attack points.” Elemental Hero Flare Neos' stats go down from 4600/2000 to 2900/2000!

 

Bonaparte exclaims, excitedly in his French accent, “Magnificent!”

 

Crowler says, worriedly, “Tell me when it's over.”

 

Aster then calls out, “Now, attack!” Dogma rushes over to attack Flare Neos, but Aster doesn't notice two new face-down cards that appear on Jaden's side of the field before Dogma's attack slams into Flare Neos, which causes the blade to crack instead of Flare Neos. Aster exclaims, “No fair!”

 

Jaden asks Aster, with his sly grin, “What's the problem?” Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “Oh, you must be wondering why my monster didn't bite the dust.”

 

Aster says, seriously, “Maybe.”

 

Jaden tells Aster, displaying a Calling Magic spell card, “I hate to break it to you, but it is your fault. See this. You sent it to my graveyard.” Aster gasps in shock and Jaden says, “And when Calling Magic is sent to the graveyard, I get to place two more on the field, giving my Neos a power boost!” Elemental Hero Flare Neos' stats were really 3700/2000, more than Dogma's power!”

 

Aster gasps in shock and he thinks, “That means that Jaden wins! But Sartorius said that I was destined to win this duel! Could Jaden be stronger than destiny?!” At that moment, with Sartorius' `base', he flips over one of his Tarot cards and his eyes widen when he sees it is The Wheel of Fate card upside down. Soon after, back in Obelisk Arena, Destiny Hero-Dogma is destroyed and Aster yells out as he loses 300 life-points, ending this duel.

Jaden tells Aster, “That's game! And a real sweet one, too!”

 

Syrus exclaims, happily, “Jaden did it!” Syrus and Tyranno hug each other for a few moments and then when they realize they were doing it, they break away from each other in disgust.

 

Bastion says, with a smile, “That was quite the duel. Good show.”

 

Alexis then says, “And thanks to Jaden, the Slifer Dorm is safe now.”

 

Tyranno yells at Jaden, “Way to go, Sarge! You should get a medal of honor!”

 

Aster goes over to Jaden and tells him, “I've got to say, Jaden, and I rarely say this, but I'm impressed. Now, look, I don't intend to lose again! So, enjoying it while it lasts!”

 

Jaden tells Aster, in an excited tone, “You know it! It's not every day that one beats a big pro! I'm going to milk this for all that it is worth!” Jaden tells Aster, “Now, the way that I see it, our first duel didn't count since you let me win, so, we are tied.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, “Is that so? Not for long.” Aster then walks away from Jaden seemly towards the exit.

 

Amara looks at Trista, sees the serious look on her face, and Amara says, in a whisper and plainly, “You know more about this, don't you, Trista. You know about those monsters that Jaden was using.”

 

Trista nods her head and says, “Yes, I do. The Neo-Spacians were said to be just a legend, but it is said that in that legend when they arrive, they will have given their power to a `Chosen One' to save the universe and protect the balance of life.”

 

Amara asks Trista, in a whisper, “From what?!”

 

Trista tells Amara, “All I know that the legend says that it is an evil light trying to destroy all darkness in the universe and since light and darkness are the most vital forces of life, when darkness is gone, light will be too, and life will fade away.”

 

Amara says, plainly and in a whisper, “So, these `Neo-Spacians' chose Jaden to weld their power and stop this evil.”

 

Trista tells Amara, “It would seem so. It looks like we were right to say that evil has come to Duel Academy, but I'm not sure what. The future is currently in doubt for me and I'm afraid I'm not sure what's to come.”

 

Amara looks at Jaden and then at Serena, thinking, “Well, we have to be ready for it. We are the Sailor Scouts and it is our duty to protect this planet and our princess. Whatever comes at us, I'm sure that we can take it.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning to our heartbroken Moon Princess, she thinks in her mind, “However, we weren't ready for it. After Jaden's victory with his new `Neos deck' as he likes to call it, everything seems to be back to normal, expect for Chazz that is. But then Chazz revealed his true colors sometime after Crowler stopped Bonaparte from destroying the Slifer Dorm. My friends and I went out to the card shop to get some new cards for our decks and upcoming tests and after that, we decided to head for the Slifer Dorm. Trista told us about the legend of the Neo-Spacians and the legend of the `Chosen Duelists', duelists that had the power to alter destiny, about how one of them would be chosen by the Neo-Spacians to bring balance to the universe. Trista told us that if this evil wants Jaden and he welds the power of the Neo-Spacians, he must be protected because he is a `Chosen Duelist'. So, we made sure that Jaden is currently okay when we found Jasmine and Mindy in a total panic. Little did I know that it would the beginning of my `Trail to Tears' . . .”

 

Flashback; The day of the `birth' of the `White Dorm'

 

Today, we find Serena, Ami, Mina, Lita, Rei, and Hotaru, wearing their female Obelisk Blue uniforms, walking towards the Slifer Red dorm to check up on Jaden, while they see Jasmine and Mindy talking to Alexis, Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno.

 

Jasmine yells at Alexis, “Alexis, it is an emergency!”

 

Alexis says, with a sigh, “Let me guess: You lost your favorite hairbrush?”

 

Jasmine tells Alexis, “Even worse, Alexis!”

 

Mindy yells out, worriedly, “Something happened to our dorm!”

 

Mina exclaims, “What's going on everyone?!” Alexis, Jaden, Syrus, Tyranno, Mindy, and Jasmine look to see Serena and her five friends coming towards them.

 

Jasmine tells them, “Girls, I'm glad that you are here! Something terrible has happened to our dorm!”

 

Ami asks, curiously, “What happened?!”

 

Mindy tells Ami, “You will have to believe it to see it, Ami!”

 

Alexis tells Jasmine and Mindy, “Well, some pretty weird stuff has been happening lately. But this better be good.”

 

The group then heads off for the Obelisk Blue dorm and Jasmine asks, “By the way, did anyone see a pink hairbrush?” Soon enough, everyone was near the Obelisk Blue dorm and they are blinded by a bright light.

 

Tyranno exclaims, “Is that supposed to be the blue barracks?!” When everyone looks at where the Obelisk Blue dorm is supposed to be, they find that it has been totally painted white!

 

Syrus replies, “Not anymore.”

 

Mindy says, plainly, “And white is so not my color.”

 

Mina tells Mindy, “I'm with you there girlfriend.”

 

Serena asks, shocked, “What happened to the Guys Dorm?!” Just then everyone looks to see Atticus Rhodes lying face-down in the dirt in front of the formally Obelisk Blue Guys' dorm.

 

Alexis yells out, “It's my brother!”

 

Alexis, Jasmine, Mindy, and Mina yell out in unison, “Atticus!” The group rushes over and Alexis manages to roll Atticus into a position kneeling in front of the dorm.

 

Atticus tells Alexis, “Alexis, the whole dorm has gone nuts. I tried to stop him, but I was too late. They're with him now.”

 

Alexis asks Atticus, “Who?”

 

Jaden looks ahead of him, with eyes wide open, and he says, “See for yourself.” When everyone looks ahead of them, they find Chazz sitting down on some kind of wooden thrown, being held up by four male students dressed in white, and surrounded by more male white students.

 

Alexis says, shocked, “You've got to be kidding me.”

 

Chazz says, with a sly grin, “Ah, it feels good to be the Chazz. But this is just the start. Soon enough, I will make the world see the light!”

 

The white students yell out in unison, “All hail the Society of Light! All hail the Chazz! All hail the Chazz!”

 

As they yelling and cheering, Lita asks, perplexed, “Have they, all, gone psycho or what?!”

 

Rei tells Lita, in a serious tone, “I don't think so, Lita! Princeton did something to all of them! I can feel it!”

 

Chazz giggles and says, with a sly grin, “Thank you, boys. But I think that we should give some credit to man who is truly responsible for this. And that one great man is Sartorius!”

 

The white students cheer out in unison, “Master Sartorius! Sartorius-sama! Long live Sartorius-sama!”

 

Alexis asks, perplexed, “Sartorius?”

 

Serena asks, confused, “Is that supposed to Aster Phoenix's manager?”

 

Mina tells Serena, “Last time that I checked . . . yeah.”

 

Chazz exclaims, “That's right, dorks! But Sartorius-sama is more than that loser's manager . . . Master Sartorius holds the answers to the greatest mysteries of the universe!” Every one of our heroes and heroines look at each other confused.

 

Lita whispers to her friends, “Why do I get the feeling that this Sartorius character is responsible for this?”

 

Mina whispers to Lita, “Well, we can't be so sure. Remember, this guy is already very `loopy' before all this `white stuff' started. He could have finally just cracked.”

 

Ami tells Mina, “We can't be so sure, Mina.”

Tyranno tells the others, “Well, I say that guy is a few trap cards shy of a full deck.”

 

Jaden yells to the group and exclaims, “Hey, Chazz, I get it now! You and your friends must have been exposed to one too many white paint fumes that's all!” Just then Chazz and the group of the white students do a classic anime face-fall.

 

Serena sweatdrops and states, nervously, “Why do I get the feeling that this isn't the case?”

 

Chazz gets to his feet and exclaims, “The only crazy ones here are you people! When it comes to the truth, you are all in the dark! But face me in a duel and I will show you the light!”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Well, you know me! I can't pass off a good duel! So, get your game on, Chazz!”

 

Alexis then says, “Hold it, Jaden!” When everyone looks at Alexis, she says, “I may not live here anymore, but I'm still an Obelisk Blue.”

 

Jasmine asks, worriedly, “Does that mean you want to duel him?”

 

Mindy tells Jasmine, “But he is insane!”

 

Alexis says, with her confident tone, “So, that means he shouldn't be that hard to beat.”

 

Atticus says, “Wrong. Trust me, Lex. All of those guys dueled him and lost. And then he turned into mindless robots.”

 

Syrus states, “I would have said zombies, but either way . . .”

 

Alexis says, strongly, “Well, then it is up to me to save them.” Alexis tells Chazz, strongly, “Are you ready to do this?!”

 

Chazz tells Alexis, with a sly grin on his lips, “Are you ready to see the light? Because I already how this is going to end, thanks to a very dear friend of mine.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Serena thinks in her mind, solemnly, “We thought, expect for Atticus, that Alexis would easily win because we thought that Chazz was insane, but with the powers that Sartorius gave him, Chazz was throwing Alexis off her game as well as using that Infernal White Spell card to expose his hand and trick Alexis to predict his move rather than make her worry about hers. However, with Atticus' encouragement, Alexis got back in her game and it looks like she had a chance for victory. But then Chazz summoned his Armed Dragon level ten and used some kind of spell card that we never saw before . . . White Veil . . .”

 

Flashback; `White Thunder' Chazz's duel against Alexis

 

We find ourselves in the duel between `White Thunder' Chazz and Alexis and Chazz just sacrificed his Armed Dragon LV7 to summoned Armed Dragon LV10 (3000/2000) in attack mode. Alexis, on the meanwhile, has her Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) in attack mode with three face-down cards.

 

Chazz then displays the last card in his hand, a spell card with a women's back with white silk veil around her, and he exclaims, “It gets worse, Alexis! I play White Veil!” Just then a bright white glow comes from the card and everyone is forced to cover their eyes. When the glow fades away, Chazz's dragon turns totally white and its eyes become a bright violet.

 

Alexis says, “His monster . . . It's too powerful.” Alexis thinks in her mind, seriously, “But that doesn't mean that I will lose this duel! I can still end this in a draw.” Alexis calls out, “I play Doble Passé!” Alexis' revealed her Doble Passé trap card, but it wouldn't activate. Alexis asks, perplexed, “What's going on? Why won't it activate?”

 

Chazz says, with a sly grin, “That's because my dragon is protected by the light of truth. It is wearing a White Veil. And thanks to it, all spell and trap cards on your side of the field are destroyed when my dragon attacks.” Just then powerful waves of sound destroy all of Alexis' cards, her two face-downs and her Doble Passé are destroyed. Chazz shouts out, “Now, Armed Dragon level ten, attack! Your target is her Cyber Angel Dakini! Show her the light with Armed Luminescent Blast!” Armed Dragon LV10 launches a sphere of white light energy at Alexis' Cyber Angel Dakini, destroying it in a huge explosion, and Alexis screams out as a white light baths her form as the last of her life-points are depleted. After the white light fades away, Alexis slumps down to her left side.

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked, “It's over!”

 

Serena asks, worriedly, “Is she all right?!” Our heroes and heroines rush down to help Alexis out and they quickly get to the edge of the dueling ring where she is near.

 

Atticus calls out, “Alexis, are you all right?”

 

Chazz walks up to Alexis and tells Atticus, “What are you going to do? Sing her another lame song? Face it, dork, she is one of us now!”

 

Lita exclaims, angrily, “What do you mean?!”

 

Chazz tells Lita, “You will see, Amazon! When you join us in the light!”

 

Lita roars out, angrily, “Just try it!”

 

Mina tells Lita, worriedly, “Don't get him started, Lita! He really is nuts!”

 

Atticus says, worriedly, “She must be in shock!”

 

Serena shouts out, worriedly, “Alexis, are you okay?! Alexis, please answer!”

 

Hotaru calls out, “Alexis-sempai, are you okay?!”

 

Jasmine and Mindy yell out in unison, “Say something!”

 

Soon enough, Alexis starts to get up to a kneeling position and Atticus tells her, “You have nothing to be ashamed of, sis! You tried your best!”

 

Jaden tells her, with a smile, “Atticus is right, Lex! You stayed true to yourself and you never gave up!”

 

However, Alexis says, in a cold and emotionless, “Don't you guys see? I'm glad that I lost. It opened my eyes to the truth. I've seen the light.”

 

Our group gasps in shock and Mina says, lowly, “Oh, man. Don't tell me that she . . .?”

 

Alexis gets to her feet and says, in a cold tone, “You were right, Chazz. Thank you.” When everyone looks into her eyes, it had a cold and evil glare to them now. Alexis then says, with an evil grin on her lips, “I'm ready to enter the Society of Light now.”

 

Chazz says, plainly, “It is your destiny.”

 

Everyone gasps in horror and Ami says, lowly and worriedly, “She . . . She's been brainwashed.”

 

Jaden says, plainly, “It is worse than we thought.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back to the present, we find our Moon Princess shedding tears of sorrow and pain and she thinks, “Jaden was wrong. It was going to get much worse. After Alexis was `converted' into the Society of Light, she `attacked' the Girls' Dorm while Mina, Rei, and I went to discuss with Luna, Atriums, Amara, Michelle, Trista, and Darien about the situation, leaving Ami, Lita, and Hotaru behind. However, when we found out, it was too late, Alexis brainwashed every girl in the Obelisk Girls' Dorm, including Ami, Lita, and Hotaru, who fought valiantly to try to stop Alexis. I had lost three of my best friends and Amara, Michelle, and Trista were horrified to lose Hotaru to the Society of Light. Michelle and Amara vowed to get Hotaru back. On the meanwhile, Sartorius `tested' Jaden to see if he was `Chosen Duelist' with first a duel against a Pro Duelist that spoke with an Italian accent and when he lost, he was brainwashed by Sartorius. Then Sartorius sent his lawyer against Jaden and even through Sartorius predicted Jaden's loss, Jaden won that difficult duel with some new Neo-Spacian friends, namely Neo-Spacian Glow Moss. However, Sartorius decided that I was his next target and made Ami, Lita, and Hotaru plan for my `test' . . .”

 

Flashback; Shortly after Jaden's duel with `X'

 

We find Sartorius with his Tarot deck once more and he turns over two cards. The first card was The Moon and the second card was The Reaper of Souls, which was turned upright position.

 

Sartorius says, “So, it is time to test Ms. Tsukino. She might hold the same powers as Jaden Yuki, but she needs to be tested. The cards predict her defeat and now, she must overcome it.” Sartorius pushes a button on a remote, a screen lowers down, and it activates to display Ami Mizuno, Lita Kino, and Hotaru Tomoe on the screen, all of whom have white female uniforms similar to Alexis' expect for the gloves and with cold looks in their eyes.

 

Hotaru asks Sartorius over the screen, in a cold and emotionless tone, “You called for us, Sartorius-sama?”

 

Sartorius nods his head and tells the girls in reply, “Yes, I did. Has our duelist for your friend, Serena Tsukino, arrived?”

 

Ami bows her head and says, in an emotionless tone, “Yes, she has Master Sartorius. The plan is set.”

 

Lita tells Sartorius, with an evil smile and emotionless tone, “And we set perfect bait for Serena. That girl is too much like that dork, Jaden Yuki, is so many ways. Don't worry, Sartorius-sama, Serena will see the light.”

 

Sartorius tells three girls, “Well done, girls. I will hear your report after the duel.”

 

The three girls bow their heads and reply in unison and emotionless tones, “We won't fail you, Sartorius-sama.” Just then the screen cuts off and Sartorius gives a wide grin about this.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil smile, “Now, Serena Tsukino . . . or should I say, Ms. Sailor Moon, prove to me that you are Chosen Duelist! Defy destiny!”

 

Flashback; somewhere within the Academy Island's main building

 

Today, we find Serena, Rei, Mina, Amara, Michelle, Trista, Darien, Luna, and Atriums walking down the hallways towards Obelisk Arena and Serena has a happy smile on her face.

 

Serena exclaims, with a map in her hands, “Awesome! I never knew that Duel Academy can hold all out buffet parties!”

 

Rei tells Serena, “They don't, Meatball Head! This has got to be a trap!”

 

Serena asks Rei, “What do you mean, Rei? Ami, Lita, and Hotaru sign these themselves.”

 

Darien tells Serena, “I hate to tell you this, Sere', but we can't trust them anymore. Ever since they joined this Society of Light, they've been acting `different'.”

 

Rei says, in a serious tone, “The same force that brainwashed Alexis Rhodes and the rest of the Blue dorms has got control over them now.”

 

Mina then asks, curiously, “Then why are we going in the first place?”

 

Luna replies, “Hopefully, we can make Ami, Lita, and Hotaru see reason and break the spell on them.”

 

Serena says, solemnly, “I hope so.”

 

Mina tells Serena, “Hey, don't worry, Serena. It's not like we dealt with enemies that used mind-control before.”

 

Atriums tells Mina, “Yes, Mina, but we haven't dealt with an enemy that seems to use light instead of darkness. Personally, we haven't met this Sartorius character yet.”

 

Amara says, plainly and angrily, “Whoever he is, he is going to pay for turning Firefly into his puppet!”

 

Darien tells Amara, “We can't be too brash here, Amara.”

 

Mina tells Amara, with a smile, “Don't worry, Amara. We will get Hotaru back somehow!” Soon after, our group enters the Obelisk Blue arena and heads towards the dueling ring, but when they arrive, all of the metal gates towards the exits close behind them.

 

Luna yells out, “It is a trap!”

 

Rei exclaims, seriously, “I knew it!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “We're glad that you can make it, Serena-hime.” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Ami, Lita, and Hotaru with cold and serious looks on their faces and their arms crossed across their chests while a young woman of eighteen years of age with long flowing dark brown hair that goes to her buttocks and bright cherry red eyes, wearing dark violet tube-top that covers her voluptuous breasts down to three-quarters of the way to her navel, bright pink jacket over the tube-top, light blue jeans with a matching light brown belt, white sneakers, black painted fingernails, and a duel disk with a dueling deck inside attached to her left wrist is on the dueling platform.

 

Darien exclaims, seriously, “Ami! Lita! Hotaru! What is the meaning of this?!”

 

Lita says, in a cold tone, “What does it look like Darien? It is time for Serena to see the light.”

 

Serena yells out to the three of them, begging tone in her voice, “Lita! Please! You have to listen to me! Whatever this Sartorius character did to Chazz and Alexis has got you. You've been brainwashed! You're being controlled! You've got to wake up!”

 

Lita exclaims, seriously, “No! You've got to wake up, Serena! Can't you see that our eyes have been opened to the truth?”

 

Hotaru says, coldly, “We've seen the light and we've seen the truth about mankind and Earth.”

 

Ami states, in a cold and plain tone, “The only way that our future can be assured is that the whole world sees the path of Master Sartorius. The path of the Society of Light. It's destiny, Serena. Like it was our destiny to be protect this planet in the first place.”

 

Michelle exclaims to Hotaru, “Firefly, please! I know that you are in there! This isn't like you!”

 

Hotaru tells Michelle, in a cold tone, “This is the new me, Michelle-mama. Ami-chan, Lita-chan, and I been reborn like Alexis and the others, through the power of the light.”

 

Darien says, seriously and nervously, “It's no good! They won't listen to reason.”

 

Lita tells Serena, “Now, Serena-chan, it is time for you to see the light. And she will show you the way.” Lita points to the young woman on the stage and says, “Her name is Ichigo Setenta. She is a pro duelist and an old `acquaintance' of Sartorius-sama. She has agreed to duel you. If you win, you and the other nonbelievers can go free. If you lose, you will join us in the Society of Light.”

 

Mina exclaims, seriously, “And what if she refuses to duel?”

 

Ami holds out a piece of paper and says, with an evil grin on her lips, “If Serena-chan doesn't duel, the Slifer Dorm, home to Jaden Yuki and his friends, will be torn down immediately. Serena-chan agreed to this when she signed the paper.”

 

Serena says, worriedly, “I thought it was a guest list or invitation.”

 

Rei yells at Serena, annoyed, “Meatball Head! Next time, read the fine print!”

 

Hotaru asks Serena, emotionlessly, “Well, Serena-hime, what will it be?”

 

Amara exclaims, horrified, “How can you do this?!”

 

Serena takes a duel disk that Rei had been carrying with her, attached it to her left wrist, inserts her dueling deck inside, and says, jumping on the stage, “Okay, let's duel.”

 

Serena's non-brainwashed friends gasp in shock and Mina exclaims, worriedly, “Don't do it, Serena! If you lose, you might get brainwashed like Ami, Hotaru, and Lita are!”

 

Serena tells Mina, “I have no choice, Mina! If I don't duel, Jaden and the other Slifer Red students will lose their dorm! I can't let that happen!”

 

Rei tries to yell out, “But Serena . . .”

 

Serena tells Rei, strongly, “No, Rei! I won't let anything happened to Jaden and the Slifer Red students because of me!”

 

Luna says, with a sigh, “There's no way to talk her out of it now. When that girl makes up her mind, she doesn't stop for anything or anyone!”

 

Darien thinks in his mind, “Be careful, love . . .”

 

Serena and Ichigo activate their duel disk and Ichigo asks, in a deep female voice with a sly tone to it, “Ready to fight, little girl?”

 

Serena states, insulted, “Little girl?!” Serena and Ichigo then draw five cards from their decks and their duel disks register 4000 life-points each.

 

“Game on!” both duelists yell out in unison

Ichigo: 4000

 

Ichigo tells Serena, as she draws one card, “Big girls, first!” Ichigo looks at her hand, gives a sly grin, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “I'll play this card face-down.” Ichigo then puts one card on her duel disk and exclaims, “And now, I summon my Amazoness Swordswoman in defense mode!” Soon after, Amazoness Swordswoman (1500/1600) comes to the field in defense mode. Ichigo says, “I'll end right there.”

 

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “My move!”

 

Ichigo thinks in her mind, “Yeah, the instant that you activate that one spell card to summon your most powerful monsters, those three Cyber Angels, I will make sure that they will be made useless.”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “First, I play my Machine Angel Ritual spell! With this card, I can summon any monster with `Cyber Angel' in its name to the field as long as I discard a certain number of monsters from my hand and field!”

 

Ichigo yells out, in a serious tone, “I don't think so! That move was just the one that I waited for! Reveal trap! Curse of the Forbidden Spell!” Ichigo's face-down is revealed to be the Curse of the Forbidden Spell trap card.

 

Serena shouts out, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Ichigo tells Serena, with a sly grin, “You should be worried, girl. With this, I can discard one spell card from my hand and your card is gone.” Ichigo discards her Polymerization spell card from her hand into the graveyard and Serena's Machine Angel Ritual was destroyed before it can activate. Ichigo yells out, seriously, “And now, you can't use the same spell card for the rest of the duel!”

 

Serena's other non-brainwashed friends gasp in shock and Darien exclaims, horrified, “But that means that Serena can't use any of her `Cyber Angel' Ritual Monsters!”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “Those are her best cards!”

 

Ami says, in a cold and logical tone, “Exactly. Without them, Serena-chan can't hope to win. We and Sartorius-sama have already foreseen her defeat. She will see the light and join us in the Society of Light.”

 

Rei tells Ami, in a serious tone, “That Sartorius character must have messed up your mind, Ami! You should know never to count Meatball Head until the end!”

 

Mina tells Serena, “Come on, Serena! I know that you can turn this around!”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Oh boy! I'm in a real pickle! I've always had Benten, Dakini, and Idaten on my back to aid me, but thanks to her trap card, I can't summon them anymore! I'm just going to have to try to adjust my strategy!” Serena puts one card on her duel disk and states, “Okay, I summon my Cyber Tutu in attack mode!” Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) then comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Ichigo tells Serena, sarcastically, “I thought that this was a duel not a ballet recital.”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “We'll see who will be laughing when my little ballerina does a pirouette on your face! I play Angel's Wing!” Cyber Tutu laughs and jumps into the air as a pair of huge angel wings appears on her back. Serena then says, “And since you have no monsters weaker than my little dancer, she can bypass your monsters and go straight for your life-points!”

 

Ichigo yells out, shocked, “What?!”

 

Serena shouts out, “Tutu, attack her directly! Pounding Pirouette!” Cyber Tutu spins around in mid-air, dives bombs Ichigo, and slams her right leg into her chin, knocking her off-balance slightly and costing her 1000 life-points. Serena then says, “Plus, since she had Angel's Wing equipped, you lose another three hundred life-points.” Ichigo growls in annoyance as she loses another 300 life-points.

 

Amara says, with a smile, “Excellent work, Serena!”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots, “I'll end with this card face-down.”

Ichigo draws one card from her deck and says, “Don't celebrate just yet, ladies!” Ichigo puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll play my Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Ichigo draws two more cards from her deck, put them into her hand, and says, putting a card on her duel disk, “Next, I summon my Amazoness Paladin in attack mode!” Soon after, Amazoness Paladin (1700/300) comes to the field in attack mode. Ichigo then says, with a sly grin, “Thanks to her special ability, she gains one hundred attacks points for every monster with the word `Amazoness' in their name and I count two!” Amazoness Paladin's stats then increase from 1700/300 to 1900/300 and Ichigo then says, “Next, I switch my Swordswoman from attack to defense mode!” Amazoness Swordswoman then switches from defense to attack mode.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “They are really strong and could cause damage to my life-points, but my Magic Cylinder trap card might save me.”

 

Ichigo puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Then I play my Trap Booster! I sacrifice one card from my hand to play any trap card in my hand!” Ichigo discards a card from her hand, puts another card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “And I play my Robbin Goblin! With this card out on the field, you lose one card from your hand every time I deal damage to your life-points!”

 

Serena becomes really nervous and says, “Oh boy.”

 

Ichigo puts the final card in her hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “Finally, I play Mystical Space Typhoon! There goes your little face-down card!” A huge wind comes onto the field and destroys Serena's face-down card, Magic Cylinder.

 

Serena exclaims, shocked, “My trap card!”

 

Ichigo shouts out, “And there goes your defense!” Ichigo then calls out, “Swordswoman, puck that Tutu's feathers out!” Amazoness Swordswoman slashes her blade through Cyber Tutu and she screams out as she is destroyed, costing Serena 500 life-points.

 

Serena calls out, “Tutu!”

 

Mina yells out, shocked, “She has no monsters to defense herself!”

 

Serena then says, drawing one card from my deck, “Since my Tutu had Angel's Wing, I get one card when it is sent to the grave!”

 

Ichigo tells Serena, “Don't get too excited little girl! Now, thanks to my Robbin Goblin, you must discard one card from your hand!” Serena growls as she discards her Cosmo Queen (2900/2400) to the graveyard. Ichigo then calls out, “Now, Amazoness Paladin, direct attack!” Amazoness Paladin gives a loud female war cry as she leaps into the air and slashes her sword down on our Moon Princess. Serena yells out in shock as she loses 1900 more life-points.

 

Darien and the non-brainwashed scouts shout out, horrified, “Serena!”

 

Ichigo then says, “Now, Robbin Goblin comes into effect. Get rid of one of your cards.”

 

Serena moans as she sadly discards her Cyber Angel Daikin (2700/2400) and she thinks in her mind, sadly, “Sorry, Dakini, it hurts me to get rid of you, but without my Machine Angel Ritual, I can't use you!”

 

Ichigo tells Serena, “That will end my turn.”

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “My move!” Serena looks at the cards in her hand, gives a solemn expression, and says, putting one card on the duel disk, “I summon my Etoile Cyber in defense mode.” Etoile Cyber (1200/1600) then comes to the field in defense mode. Serena then puts one card left her hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with one card face-down.”

 

Ichigo tells Serena, with a sly grin, “Guess you are already done, eh?”

 

Serena tells Ichigo, in a strong tone, “Wrong! I'm far from done! This duel isn't over till the last card is draw!”

 

Ichigo puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “And that's right now! I play my Card of Demise! This card allows me to draw until I have five cards in my hand!” Ichigo draws until she has five cards in her hand and then she shouts out, “Next, I sacrifice my two Amazons in order to play this!” Both Amazoness monsters vanish in bright lights as Ichigo puts one card on her duel disk and shouts out, “Now, come forth, Cosmo Queen!” Soon after, Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Serena says, drolly, “Oh boy.”

 

Ichigo puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Quick-Summon! This card allows me to summon another monster and I choose another Amazoness Paladin!” Just then another Amazoness Paladin (1700/300-1800/300) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Mina yells out, worriedly, “This is bad! She can take out Serena's monster and her life-points!”

 

Amara says, seriously, “She can't lose. We need her!”

 

Hotaru tells Amara, in a cold tone, “I'm sorry, Amara-papa, but this is fate. Serena-hime's fate is with us . . . with the Society of Light.”

 

Ichigo yells out, strongly, “Amazoness Paladin, take out her final defense!” Amazoness Paladin slices Etoile Cyber in two and destroying her, but since she was in defense mode, Serena doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Darien shouts out, horrified, “Serena!”

 

Ichigo shouts out, “Cosmo Queen, end this duel! Attack her directly with Cosmic Nova!” Cosmo Queen launches a sphere of energy right at Serena and there looks like there is no way for Serena to stop this duel from ending, but she then pushes a button on her duel disk just before the attack slams into her causing a huge explosion and covering her in smoke.

 

Rei and Darien calls out, in horror, “Serena!”

 

Michelle says, stunned, “She . . . She lost.”

 

Luna thinks in her mind, “This . . . This can't be . . .”

 

Lita says, with an evil sly grin on her lips, “Welcome to the Society of Light, Serena!”

 

But then Serena's voice booms, “Don't count me out, yet, girls!” Everyone gasps in shock and when the smoke clears, Serena is breathing heavily and she still has 300 life-points left.

 

Hotaru exclaims, stunned, “But how is this possible?!”

 

Serena points to a hologram of the spell card Hyper Refresh and says, “I played my Hyper Refresh Quick-Spell card! This little sweetie doubled my life-points before her attack hit me!”

 

Amara says, with a smile, “So, her life-points were thirty-two hundred instead of sixteen hundred. Enough to survive this attack.”

 

Ichigo exclaims, seriously, “You are only delaying the inevitable, little girl!”

Ami tells Serena, in a cold tone, “Serena-chan, why do you try to defy fate? You are going to lose. Why don't you accept that your destiny is with us?”

 

Serena tells Ami, as she prepared to draw her card, “You forgotten that even in the most hopeless of moments that there was still a chance I can win. Knowing that I had your support, I knew there was still a chance to defeat Beryl, Pharaoh Ninety, and Chaos. I never gave up hope and I'm not going to give up now. I know there is still a chance for me to win and I'm going to keep fighting. There is no way that I'm going to let some freak decide my fate. I believe in my deck and it never let me down before.” Serena closes her eyes as she puts her hand on her deck and she thinks, “I believe in you. I put my heart into my deck and I know that it will help me win.” Serena draws her cards, looks at the card, gives a wide smile, and says, “Well, it looks like this duel is far from done.” Serena puts the card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I play my Card of Sanctity! This card forces us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Serena and Ichigo then draw from their respective decks until both of them have six cards in their two hands each.

 

Rei tells Serena, lowly, “Don't mess up, Meatball Head. This is your last chance.”

 

Serena looks at her new hand and says, with a smile, “I knew that my deck wouldn't let me down.”

 

Ichigo asks, curiously, “What did you draw?”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “You are going to find out! I play my Monster Reborn to bring Etoile Cyber back to the field!” Soon after, Etoile Cyber (1200/1600) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Lita says, perplexed, “Why that card? It is no match for Ichigo's Cosmo Queen or her Paladin.”

 

Serena puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Alone, anyway. This is why I'm playing my Polymerization to fuse Etoile Cyber on the field with my Blade Skater in my hand!” Blade Skater (1400/1500) appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Etoile Cyber, while the two monster cards are discards to the graveyard, Serena takes one fusion monster card, and declares, when she puts the card on her duel disk, “Now, here comes Cyber Blader in attack mode!” Soon after, out of the fusion vortex, Cyber Blader (2100/800) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Ichigo tells Serena, “All that for that monster. She is too weak.”

 

Serena tells Ichigo, with a sly smirk, “Not for long, girlfriend. Since you have two monsters on the field, my Cyber Blader's attack points are doubled.” Cyber Blader's stats increase from 2100/800 to 4200/800.

 

Ichigo tells Serena, nervously, “That won't be enough to end this duel.”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “That's why I play my Megamorph spell card! Since I have less life-points than you, my Cyber Blader's original attack points are doubled!” Cyber Blade's stats increase from 4200/800 to 6300/800!

 

Ichigo exclaims, stunned, “This can't be!”

 

Serena shouts out, in a strong tone, “This is what I say to Sartorius and his `destiny'! Cyber Blader, destroy her Cosmo Queen with Whirlwind Rage!” Cyber Blader spins into a tornado and slices right through Ichigo's Cosmo Queen, taking 3400 of her life-points with the monster and ending this duel.

Ichigo: 0

 

When Ichigo's life-points hit zero and the final holograms fade away, Serena exclaims, with a smile, “All right! That's game!”

 

Michelle tells Serena, “Excellent work, Serena-hime!” On the meanwhile, Ichigo falls to her knees and Ami, Lita, and Hotaru have indifferent looks on their faces.

 

Soon after, the metal gates blocking the exits open up and Rei exclaims, “We're free! Finally!”

 

Serena tells Ichigo, “That was a good duel, Ichigo. But next time, can't you be a bit nicer?” However, Ichigo doesn't respond at all and Serena asks, perplexed, “Hey, are you okay? It was just one game.” But just then Ichigo's brown starts transforming into it becomes pitch white.

 

Darien exclaims, shocked, “What happened to her?!”

 

Mina exclaims, “Her hair has totally turned white!”

 

Ichigo then says, in a emotionless tone, “It is Sartorius-sama. He has finally helped me see the light.”

 

Rei exclaims, stunned, “You've got to be kidding me!”

 

Lita says, with an evil sly grin on her lips, “Sorry, Rei-chan, but this is no joke. Soon, you will be joining us soon enough.” Serena and the others watch their three brainwashed friends walk away with looks of disbelief and shock on their faces.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Ami . . . Lita . . . Hotaru-chan . . . No matter what it takes, I will set you free. In the name of the moon, I will free you from this Sartorius' control.”

 

Flashback; Returning to Sartorius

 

After the duel between Serena and Ichigo, Sartorius holds up The Reaper of Souls Tarot card and he says, with a smile, “Well done, Ms. Moon. I can see that I was right about you. You are indeed a `Chosen Duelist' just like Jaden Yuki. Now, I know that you along with Aster and Jaden will be vital to my plans. And I believe it will soon be time for me to join Duel Academy.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, we find our Moon Princess is thinking, “Yeah, right. Easier said than done. What I didn't know is that things would be getting worse when the evil freak himself, Sartorius, arrives at Duel Academy and Hassleberry challenges Sartorius to free Chazz, Alexis, Ami, Lita, and Hotaru from his control. By this time, the others decided that Rei, Mina, and I should take `refuge' in the Slifer Red dorm until we can save the Blue dorm from Sartorius. We moved our things into the Slifer Red dorms and I've got to say that it is far from the Ritz, but the room Chazz redesigned was very good and since Alexis was on the side of the Society of Light, there was room for the three of us. Plus, the spa he had added was also very sweet! Anyway, Rei, Mina, and I arrived just when Sartorius finally attacked his own Arcana Force monster using Hassleberry's own Dino Tank against him . . .”

 

Flashback; Tyranno's and Sartorius' duel

 

We are witness the final moments of Tyranno's and Sartorius' duel with Hassleberry in control of Sartorius' Arcana Force VIII-The Strength (1800/1800), but the Sartorius used the upside down position of that monster to regain his Arcana Force VII-The Chariot (1700/1700) and his Dino Tank (ATK: 3000).

 

Sartorius says, “Feel the power of destiny.” Dino Tank destroys Arcana Force VIII-The Strength, taking 1200 of Tyranno's life-points, and ending the duel causing Tyranno to fall to the ground face-first.

 

Jaden shouts out, shocked, “Hassleberry!”

 

Syrus shouts out in disbelief, “No way!”

 

Serena's voice then calls out, “Jaden!” Jaden and Syrus look to see Serena, Rei, and Mina running towards them.

 

Rei exclaims, “What's going on here?! Who is that creepy guy?!”

 

Syrus tells Rei, “That's Sartorius! Aster's former manager and the leader of the Society of Light! He just defeated Hassleberry in a duel!”

 

Serena exclaims, horrified, “Oh no!” As Sartorius gets closer to Tyranno, Serena, Rei, Mina, Jaden, and Syrus go over to Hassleberry and Serena yells out, “Don't you touch him!”

 

Sartorius tells Serena, “Ah, Ms. Tsukino. I'm sorry to say, but he belongs to the light now.”

 

Tyranno goes to a kneeling position and says, “Well, you are a great duelist . . .” But then Tyranno gets to his feet, his eyes turn into dinosaur slits, and exclaims, “But I'm not joining your club anytime soon!” Sartorius is shocked to see that Hassleberry has resisted his power.

 

Syrus exclaims, shocked and happily, “Hassleberry, you are okay!”

 

Sartorius says, in disbelief, “How can this be possible? No one can resist the power of the light.”

 

Tyranno kneels on his right knee and says, “Well, I'm no ordinary Joe. Take a look at this scar.” Tyranno pulls up his left pants legs and displays a large scar on his left leg. Tyranno then explains, “One day on a dig, a rockslide came down on me and split my leg wide open. However, the docs used a dinosaur bone that they found to fix me right up. Ever since then, I've had dino DNA inside of me. It makes me stronger than your average Joe.”

 

Rei says, “You've got to be kidding.”

 

Jaden says, “No. I've seen this on a cartoon once.”

 

Serena says, nodding her head, “Yeah, same here.”

 

Rei tells Jaden and Serena, annoyed, “This is real life, you, two!”

 

Tyranno's eyes transform into dinosaur-like eyes and he says, “Even through I lost, I won't be joining your club!” Sartorius turns around, gives a wide smile at this, and slowly walks away.

 

Syrus yells out, “Hassleberry!”

 

Jaden tells Tyranno, “Sweet duel!”

 

Tyranno yells at Sartorius, “Yeah, just walk away! Show your mug around here again and I'll determine your future!”

 

Syrus tells Tyranno, “You tell him.”

 

Flashback; Later that day in Duel Academy

 

Within one of the large classrooms in Duel Academy, we find Jaden, Tyranno, Syrus, Serena, Rei, and Mina sitting together with the rest of Red, Yellow, and White clad students within the classroom.

 

Crowler declares through the microphone, “All right, settle down everyone! I have an important announcement to make! A new student is joining us! Now, make friends with him and play nice!”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “What does he think we are in first grade?”

 

Tyranno says, with a sly grin, “Well, I know someone who is.”

 

Syrus yells out, angrily, “I can ignore that!”

 

Rei says, with a sly grin, “And I know another Meatball Head who also is.”

 

Serena growls in annoyance, “Watch it, Pyro!”

 

Crowler then calls out through the microphone, “I give you Duel Academy's newest pupil!” Our group of six heroes and heroines gasp in shock as they see Sartorius walk up to the stage and Crowler says, “He will be entering as a first-year student of Obelisk Blue and he is a little older than our other first-year students. However, he is eager to learn and our evaluation team says that he has great potential!”

 

Rei says, in a low and angered tone, “You've got to be kidding me.”

 

Serena says, in a serious tone, “He must really want to use Duel Academy for every evil plan that he has.”

 

Jaden tells Serena, in a low tone, “Which is why we've got to stop him here.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning back to the present, Serena thinks in her mind, solemnly, “We knew that in order to save our friends, we needed to stop him before he can try to brainwash any more students. However, I didn't know that Amara and Michelle had other plans . . .”

 

Flashback; Within the `White Dorm'

 

Inside of the new `White Dorm', we find a huge group of white students, male and female, assembled in the main hallway with Chazz and Alexis, side by side, along with Ami, Hotaru, and Lita behind them, all of them having cold and emotionless looks on their faces.

 

All of the white students assembled exclaim in unison, “Long live the king! Long live Sartorius!”

 

Chazz tells Sartorius, “Do you like the paintjob Master? All my idea.”

 

Alexis says, coldly, “What Chazz means that you are feeling at home, sir.”

 

Hotaru tells Sartorius, in an emotionless tone, “What do you think, Sartorius-sama?”

 

Sartorius replies, with a smile, “It is excellent work. Sanda and the rest of you have done an excellent job.”

 

Chazz, Alexis, Lita, Ami, and Hotaru bow their heads and say in unison, “Thank you, Master Sartorius.”

 

Everyone starts to cheer and Sartorius tells them, “Please. I'm no more deserving of cheers than all of you. After all, I'm just a student in the eyes of destiny. All of us are a mere pupil waiting for hands of fate to mold our future. That time is now here.” Everyone, minus Chazz, Alexis, Lita, Ami, and Hotaru, then starts to cheer out Sartorius' name.

 

But then a familiar masculine female voice calls out, “Nice speech! But it won't prevent you from getting kicked out of this place!” Everyone gasps in shock and they look to see Amara and Michelle standing in front of them with duel disk that have dueling decks inside and very serious looks on their faces.

 

Lita yells at the two of them, angrily, “Amara! Michelle! What do you think you are doing?!”

 

Amara says, in a serious tone, “What do you think we're going doing to do?! Send this guy back to the pits of hell where he came from!”

 

Chazz yells out, angrily, “Watch your mouth with Sartorius-sama, nonbeliever!”

 

Alexis says, in a cold tone, “He is a great man and he should be shown some respect.”

 

Michelle says, plainly, “Forgive me if we disagree.”

 

Sartorius tells everyone, “Do not worry, my young pupils. I have foreseen their coming.”

 

Amara tells Sartorius, in a serious tone, “Well, did you foresee Michelle and me challenging you to a duel? Two one-on-one matches of course. And if we win just one of them, you leave this island forever and release everyone under your mind-control!”

 

Sartorius tells Amara, “Mind-control, young Amara Ten'ou? Your beloved `Firefly' and her friends come here for their own free will and all that has happen is they've seen the light.”

 

Amara yells at Sartorius, “Cut the crap, Sartorius! We're not buying it! We know our Firefly and she would never act like!”

 

Michelle tells Sartorius, seriously, “As well as Ami and Lita! Now, do you accept our challenge or are you too afraid of us?”

 

Chazz roars out, angrily, “How dare you?!”

 

Sartorius motions for Chazz to calm down and he says, “Calm, Sanda. I have foreseen this.” Sartorius tells Amara and Michelle, with a sly grin, “I accept your challenge. And to make things interesting, I will duel both of you at the same time.”

 

All of the white students gasp in shock, Amara's and Michelle's eyes grow wide, and Ami tells Sartorius, worried tone in her voice, “Sartorius-sama, you can't! You are a great duelists, but Amara and Michelle have also great skills in Duel Monsters!”

 

Sartorius tells Ami, “Do not worry, Ami. This will not take long. I have already foreseen the result of this duel.”

 

Amara says, annoyed, “Whatever.”

 

Sartorius asks Amara and Michelle, with a sly grin, “Do you accept my proposal?”

 

Amara tells Sartorius, with a sly grin, “You're funeral, pal.”

 

Sartorius gives a wide grin and says, “We shall see, Ms. Ten'ou and Ms. Kaiou, but I predict that I shall win this duel against both of you.”

 

Michelle tells Sartorius, “We'll see Sartorius.” Michelle and Amara prepare their duel disks while Lita goes off to the side and gives Sartorius a duel disk, which he inserts his dueling deck and attached the duel disk to his left wrist.

 

Sartorius tells Michelle and Amara, as he gives off a slight white glow, “Prepare yourself . . . to see the light.” Amara and Michelle prepare themselves for a major duel, but the look in Sartorius' eyes makes even them, the two tough Outer Sailor Scouts, to become nervous.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, we find Serena thinking under the shade of the tree, “By the time that we found out about what Amara and Michelle were doing, they had already lost to Sartorius and his Arcana Force deck. They ended up like Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Chazz, and Alexis as well as both the Guys' and Girls' Obelisk Blue dorms. It broke my heart to see them in those white uniforms and under that freaks' control, but I knew that I had to keep fighting more than ever to get my friends, all of my friends and Jaden's friends back, as well as stop Sartorius and save the Academy and the world from him. However, it would be difficult when a simple school trip would turn into adventure and it all started with a challenge . . .”

 

Flashback; Sometime after Amara's and Michelle's duel against Sartorius

 

Now, inside of the Chancellor's Office, we find Bonaparte and Crowler surrounded in front of many white students, including Ami, Lita, and Hotaru, as well as Amara and Michelle, both of them with cold and expressionless looks on their faces and wearing white uniforms as well when Sartorius comes into the room causing all those wearing white, including Amara and Michelle, bow.

 

Sartorius tells them, “Pardon me, gentlemen, but I had vision about this field trip.”

 

Crowler asks, curiously, “Did it include pasta?” Amara, Michelle, and the white students then give the two of them deadly death glares that causes Crowler and Bonaparte to become nervous.

 

Bonaparte says, nervously, “What he meant to say was that we are open to any and all suggestions, so, continue.” Crowler growls in annoyance at Bonaparte.

 

Sartorius then says, “I suggest . . .”

 

Crowler then says, interrupting, “A trip to Rome?”

 

Lita yells at Crowler, coldly, “Hey, geek, did Sartorius-sama give you permission to speak?”

 

Crowler tells Lita, angrily, “Now, you see here, young lady . . .”

 

Just then Amara grabs Crowler's collar and says, with a cold look in her eyes and a cold tone, “Do you want me to explain your destiny first-hand, Crowler?”

 

Crowler replies, nervously, “N-No, thank you!”

 

Amara releases Crowler and says, in a cold tone, “Good. Now, listen to want Sartorius-sama has to say.”

 

Michelle says, also in a cold and emotionless tone, “It also might be enlightening to you, idiots.”

 

Bonaparte says, nervously, “Right. We will listen.” Bonaparte tells Crowler, “Just shut up and let him make the choice for the field trip. We need him on our side.”

 

Alexis says, coldly, “Good. I'm glad that you are finally listening to reason. Now, sit back and listen to what Master Sartorius has to say.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Hold on! Don't we get a vote?!” The white students, Amara, and Michelle look towards the voice to see Jaden, Tyranno, Bastion, and Syrus standing in front of them while Sartorius closes his eyes and gives a wide smile.

 

Chazz says, nastily, “Get lost, dork!”

 

Alexis states, “At least until you have enough sense to join us!”

 

Just then the doors open up and a familiar female voice says, “Maybe you should be the one listening!” Just then Serena, Rei, Mina, Trista, and Darien enter the room and Serena gives a solemn look seeing Michelle and Amara in the white uniforms now.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Amara . . . Michelle . . .” However, when Serena looks at them, their eyes are cold and emotionless and it saddens our Moon Princess. However, her left hand turns into a fist that she tightly grips.

 

Hotaru asks Serena, in a cold and emotionless tone, “Have you finally decided to accept fate and join us, Serena-hime?”

 

Serena says in reply, in a strong and determined tone, “Sorry, Firefly, but not in this century!”

 

Lita tells Serena, in a cold and emotionless tone, “When are you going to get it that Sartorius-sama is a great man, Serena-chan? Amara and Michelle have finally seen the light, why can't you?”

 

Michelle tells Serena, in a cold tone, “Lita-chan's right, Serena. Sartorius-sama is a very wise man. He opened up mine and Amara's eyes to the truth.”

 

Serena ignores Michelle and tells Sartorius, in a serious strangely un-like her, “Sartorius, let's settle this in the one way that we can. You and I have a duel and winner gets to decide the trip.”

 

Rei yells at Serena, “Have you gone mental, Meatball Head?!”

 

Serena tells Rei, in a whisper, “I know what I'm doing. If it was Sartorius that started this, then beating him will end it.”

 

Sartorius turns around and says, in a calm tone, “A duel? Very interesting. In fact, let's make things more interesting. How about you and Jaden Yuki partner up? If both of you win, you get to decide the trip, but if you happen to lose . . . Promise me that both of you will join us in the Society of Light.”

 

Mina tells Serena, worriedly, “Don't do it, Serena!”

 

Tyranno nods his head and says to Jaden, “I agree with Mina there Sarge. Look at their clothes. They use too much bleach.”

 

Jaden tells his friends, “Oh, come on, everyone. You are letting this whole brainwashing thing get to you too much.”

 

Sartorius says, “He's right. Especially since I won't be the one participating in this duel.”

 

Jaden and Serena ask in unison, surprised, “What?”

 

Sartorius says, in a calm tone, “As a new student here, I wish not to stand out.”

 

Tyranno yells out, nastily, “Then get a new haircut!” Amara, Michelle, Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Alexis, and Chazz glare at Tyranno nastily.

 

Sartorius says, with a sly grin, “Touché. Now, tell me will you be accepting my challenge or not? I must confess I already know your answer.” Bonaparte and Crowler give Sartorius amazed and perplexed.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, Serena thinks, “We gave him our answer all right . . . Jaden and I accepted the terms. We wonder who would our mystery duelists would be and when we found out, it was a bit of an irony. It was an actual princess known as Princess Rose and she had quite . . . unusual deck . . .”

 

Flashback; Jaden and Serena versus Princess Rose

 

Soon enough, a young lady with gray hair, with a crown across her forehead, and wearing a blue queen-like dress was walking towards the arena, gracefully, while taking a duel disk from Alexis, who introduced her as Princess Rose. On the meanwhile, Rei, Mina, Trista, Darien, Hassleberry, Bastion, and Syrus are sitting together in the stands as they watch her come up to the dueling platform with Serena and Jaden on it.

 

Serena asks herself, lowly, “Isn't this ironic?”

 

Jaden asks Serena, overhearing, but not exactly hearing her, “You say something Serena?”

 

Serena replies, nervously, “Oh, nothing.”

 

In the stands, Mina whispers to Rei, “Isn't this ironic? Our Moon Princess fighting a current Earth princess.”

 

Rei says, lowly, “Makes me wonder if this is a coincidence or Sartorius form of a joke.”

 

Darien whispers to the two girls, “Remember, most likely, he already knows who we really are through Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michelle.” Darien, Rei, Mina, and Trista look to their brainwashed comrades who were on the top of the stands and watching our Moon Princess with cold and emotionless looks in their eyes.

 

Syrus then says, in a dreaming tone, “Look, guys, a princess!”

 

Tyranno says, with a blush in his cheeks, “Ten-four soldier!”

 

Bastion says, with a wide blush, “Indeed!”

 

Rei rolls her eyes and states, “You have got to be kidding me!”

 

When the well-dressed royal looking young woman, Princess Rose, is on the dueling stage, she looks at Jaden and Serena and says, “I thought that you two would be taller. You, with the brown hair, loved what you've done with it.”

 

Jaden says, nervously, “Thanks . . . I think.”

 

Rose tells Serena, “Is that your hairstyle?”

 

Serena replies, “Yes, it is.”

Jaden tells Rose, “Nope! We're just a couple of kids . . . a couple of kids with some sweet decks!” Jaden, Serena, and Rose insert their dueling decks into their duel disk, they activate their duel disks, and Jaden and Serena's duel disks give off team life-points of 8000 while Rose has a single 8000 life-points of her own.

 

Jaden and Serena yell out in unison, “Now, get your game on!”

Rose draws one card from her deck and says, “This won't take long.” Rose puts one card on her duel disk and says, “I'll start with Tadpole in defense mode.” Soon after, T.A.D.P.O.L.E (0/0) appears on the field in defense mode.

 

Serena says, grossed out, “What?!”

 

Back in the audience, Mina says, disgusted, “Oh yuck!”

 

Tyranno comments, “That's ugly!”

 

Rose heard that comment, her anger flared up, and she says, angrily, “You should know!”

 

Back in the audience, Syrus says, teasingly, “Ow! She got you good!”

 

Tyranno says, annoyed, “I know!”

 

Bastion says, “Her monster has zero defense points. It's like she is luring them.”

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “What is she up to?”

 

Rei tells Mina, “Don't look at me, Mina!”

 

Rose tells the two of them, “It is like your turn.”

 

Serena draws one card from her deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “First, I play my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Serena draws three cards from her deck, discards two from her hand, and says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Next, I summon my Cyber Petite Angel!” Soon after, Cyber Petite Angel (300/200) then comes to the field in attack mode. A card comes out of Serena's deck, Serena puts the card into her hand, and she says, “Thanks to her special ability, I can add one Machine Angel Ritual to my hand!” Serena then puts the spell card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I will play Machine Angel Ritual! And then I will sacrifice my Blade Skater along with my Cyber Petite Angel!” Just then a hologram of Blade Skater (1400/1500) comes onto the field, both of them vanish in bright lights as Serena puts a Ritual Monster card on her duel disk, and Serena shouts out, “Now, I summon my Cyber Angel Idaten in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Angel Idaten (1600/2000) appears on the field in attack mode. Serena then says, “Next, I play her special ability and get one spell card back from my graveyard!” Just then a card comes out of graveyard slot of Serena's duel disk, Serena puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “And that card is my Ritual Weapon spell card! This gives my Idaten an extra fifteen hundred attack and defense points!” Cyber Angel Idaten's stats then rise from 1600/2000 to 3100/3500! Serena then says, “I think that's enough for now.”

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, “My move!” Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and calls out, “Now, I summon Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird in attack mode!” Soon after, Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird (800/600) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, “Now, check out his ability, for every card in your hand, we gain five hundred more life-points!” Just then Rose's cards glow green, creating pink flowers, and Air Hummingbird goes up to the five flowers, taking 500 life-points to give to Jaden and Serena for each one.

 

Mina says, excitedly, “Awesome!”

 

Syrus says, also excitedly, “With five cards, that's . . .”

 

Bastion interrupts and exclaims, “Twenty-five hundred life-points!” Jaden's and Serena's bodies glow green as their life-points increase by 2500 more points.

 

Serena tells Jaden, excitedly, “Awesome move, Jaden!”

 

Jaden tells Serena, “Thanks, Serena! Now, it is time to take care of her Tadpole!” Air Hummingbird swoops down on Tadpole and pecks at it until it was destroyed in a strong explosion.

 

Rose says, annoyed, “Like how predicable! Guess I will use his special ability.” A card comes out of Rose's dueling deck, Rose puts into her hand, and says, displaying another T.A.D.P.O.L.E (0/0) monster card in her hand, “Surprise! Another cutie jumps from my deck and joins my hand!”

 

Serena scratches her head and states, perplexed, “Um, that `thing' doesn't have any attack or defense points, so, what's the point?”

 

Tyranno asks Bastion, curiously, “What's she up to?”

 

Bastion replies, nervously, “Honestly . . . I don't know.” The group, minus Darien and Trista, sweatdrop at this statement from intelligent duelist and give groans of disappointment as well.

 

Rei exclaims, annoyed, “Oh, brother! So much for being `Mr. Know it all'!”

Rose draws one card and says, annoyed, “Pay attention, boys and girls, because here comes the whole point.” Rose puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “It's Frog Resurrection. I take the Tadpole in my hand and ditch him to the graveyard. Then my original Tadpole is like `hello, I'm back!' How's that for a spell, huh?” Rose discards the named monster card in her hand and the original T.A.D.P.O.L.E (0/0) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

Syrus says, stunned, “Wait! So, she used one monster to . . .”

 

Tyranno finishes for Syrus by saying, “. . . Get the exact same monster back.”

 

Bastion exclaims, shocked, “Great Scott! That monster is a trap!”

 

Rose puts one card on her duel disk and says, “Like it's so obvious! He's a sacrifice for my DES Frog!” T.A.D.P.O.L.E vanishes in bright lights as it is sent to the graveyard and DES Frog (1900/0) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

“DES what?” Jaden and Serena say in unison and with confused tones on their voices.

 

Rose says, with a sigh, “Frog. But I'm not done, yet! My two little friends have another trick!”

 

Serena states, drolly, “Great. Are they going to make us croak or something?” Just then the field around Rose began to act like water as two shadow versions of T.A.D.P.O.L.E appear under her feet.

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “What the?”

 

Rose then says, in a baby-like tone, “Aren't they so cute, but they grow up so fast! Isn't that right, my little boyfriends?”

 

Serena, Rei, and Mina yell out in unison, freaked out, “Boyfriends?!”

 

Rei exclaims, weirded out, “Okay, has this duel gone to the twilight zone or something?!” Soon enough, the shadows of the Tadpoles began to grow arms and legs as Rose takes two cards from her dueling deck and put them on her duel disk after she returns her deck to her duel disk.

 

Crowler's voice then calls out, “Ah! They have legs now!”

 

Bonaparte's voice booms, “And a pair of arms, too!” Everyone looks towards the source of the voices to see temporary chancellor and the vice-chancellor of Duel Academy peaking out from the bleachers.

 

Syrus exclaims, shocked, “Crowler?!”

 

Bastion says, also surprised, “Bonaparte?!”

 

Rei states, annoyed, “What are you two jokers doing here?!” Soon after, the holographic water rises as two more frog-like figures appear on the field and join the first DES Frog and revealing they are two more DES Frogs (1900/0 X 2) in attack mode.

 

Rose says, “Not so little anymore, are they? That's because when my DES Frog's on the field, he multiplies for every Tadpole that I lost.”

 

Jaden says, plainly, “Pretty sweet combo.”

 

Serena says, drolly, “Yeah, if you like the possibility of getting Duel Monster's warts.”

 

Rose tells Serena, “As if, little girl. Plus, these little green hotties aren't even frogs.”

 

Serena and Jaden ask in unison, “They're not?”

 

Rose says, with a smile, “Bingo. These little hotties are really princes.”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “They're princes?”

 

Mina says, perplexed, “Well, you know this reminds me of story that I heard when I was a little girl. I think that they called it `The Frog Prince'.”

 

Serena gives a weirded out look and tells Rose, “Did you read too much of the story `The Frog Prince' or what?”

 

Rose tells Serena, “Oh come on, I am so not buying that act of yours. I know that the two of you can see spirits, especially Duel Monster spirits, so can't you see mine?”

 

Jaden looks at the frogs, then looks at Serena, who shrugs her shoulders, and when he looks back at the frogs, Jaden replies, very nervously, “Sure . . . I see them.”

 

Serena rolls her eyes and thinks, “Somebody has been reading too many fairy tales when they were a kid.”

 

Rose yells at Serena, annoyed, “Hey, I see that! Fine, whatever! Well, I know that they are real and they are like waiting for a kiss from a princess.”

 

Rei yells out, disgusted, “Okay, she has totally lost it!”

 

The frogs croaked and Rose sees them as princes causing her to exclaim, angrily, “They're not frogs! They're princes! Once they've been set free, we'll live happily ever after, isn't that right my little prince of poos. Hi, boys, who wants the first kiss?!”

 

Serena gives a disgusted look and says, disgusted, “Ugh! Anyone has a barf bag?!”

 

Mina tells Serena, in the same disgusted tone, “Ditto, girlfriend!”

 

Flashback; Within the `White Dorm'

 

Meanwhile, within the `White Dorm', Sartorius is going through his Tarot deck and turns over one card, The Wheel of Fortune Tarot card, causing him to gain a wide grin.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “This duel will serve as a test for both of you. Jaden Yuki . . . Serena Tsukino AKA Sailor Moon, the warrior of love and justice . . . the ability to see the spirits of your monsters. Now, it is your time to prove it.”

 

Flashback; Returning to the duel in Obelisk Arena

 

Back to the duel in Obelisk Arena, Syrus exclaims, annoyed, “Okay, this is getting just plain weird! Frogs! Who in their right mind would be in love with reptiles?!”

 

Rose yells at Syrus, hearing his `statements', “Get it right, loser! Frogs aren't reptiles! They are amphibians!”

 

Rei calls out, annoyed tone in her voice, “So what?! They are frogs! No matter how you look at them, they are still and always will be frogs!”

 

Rose shouts out, pissed off in her tone, “I told before you, bitch! They are not frogs! They are princes and one day, I'm going to run away with them!” Rose looks at the Slifer Red hero and Moon Princess and tells them, “Oh come on already. Don't tell me that you can't see them?” Serena and Jaden give off perplexed looks and scratch their heads.

 

Chazz, overlooking the duel, thinks in his mind, “There is something about Princess Rose. And I don't like it.”

 

On the meanwhile, our Sailor Scouts that were already `turned white' were watching the duel with intense stares of their own and Hotaru asks Amara, in a cold tone, “Amara-papa, you can see monster spirits like Mina-chan, Rei-chan, and Serena-hime? What do you think?”

 

Amara says, in a cold and plain tone, “I say that Princess Rose as nuts as they come, even more than Serena-hime.”

 

Lita says, coldly, “No kidding. She must have lied to Sartorius-sama about her power.”

 

Ami says, in a cold logical tone, “Agreed. She doesn't have the power to see monster spirits like Jaden Yuki and Serena-chan. I don't think that she has her own personal monster spirits like Serena-chan or Jaden Yuki because if she did. The two of them would be noticing them already and they aren't showing that signs of things that the rest of us can see like seeing Duel Monster spirits.”

 

Michelle says, in a cold and plain tone, “Sartorius-sama will not be pleased to hear this.”

 

Back on the dueling field, Rose yells out, angrily, “Fine! Be that way! I know they exist!”

 

Rei thinks in her mind, “In your dreams, `princess'! Mina and I can also see monster spirits and I say that you don't have any!”

 

Rose puts one card in her duel disk's spell/trap slots and says, “Anyway, I play my D.E.S Croaking. Now, my frogs . . . I mean, my princes can destroy every card on your side of the field. Look at it this way, I'm giving your field a make-over.” The frogs then open their mouths and send a powerful sound wave that destroys Serena's Cyber Angel Idaten and Jaden's Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird.

 

Jaden shouts out, shocked, “My Hummingbird!”

 

Serena calls out, horrified, “Idaten, no!”

 

Rose claps her hands and says, happily, “Nice work! Brave! Now, since their monsters are gone, attack them directly boys!” The frogs then send another powerful shock wave right at the two duelists, Jaden braces himself for the impact, and Serena covers her ears and screams out as the attack slams into them, costing them 5700 life-points in one attack.

 

Serena exclaims, shaking her head, “Geez! And Rei complains that my singing is terrible?!” Most of the white students get out of their seats and cheer for Rose.

 

Bonaparte says, amazed, “All that for a few frogs.”

 

Crowler comments, impressed, “Impressive.”

 

Syrus exclaims, worriedly, “Serena and Jaden are in real trouble!”

 

Mina tells Syrus, “Yeah, but how do you stop them?!”

 

Tyranno tells Mina, “Simple, ma'am! Eat'em with barbeque sauce!”

 

Bastion asks Tyranno, “And if that doesn't work?”

 

Tyranno replies, “Honey Mustard!”

 

Rei states, annoyed, “Give me a break!”

 

Rose puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “And if you think that my boyfriends are tough now, then wait until you find out what's next. Because I play Polymerization.”

 

Jaden says, drolly, “Oh, great.”

 

Serena says, nervously, “Wonderful.”

 

Rose points her finger at Serena and Jaden and exclaims, “Oh, boys, do Rose a favor! Show them your cute little merging trick!” The three DES Frogs then go into a fusion vortex as they were sent to the graveyard, Rose takes a fusion monster card from her fusion deck, puts the card on her duel disk, and D.3.S Frog (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Jaden comments, impressed, “Now, that's what I call a monster.”

 

Rose says, with a wide smile, “Totally. He is the cutest one of all. His name is D.3.S Frog and I'm so crushing over him.”

 

Rei states, holding her stomach, “Gag me!”

 

Rose tells Serena and Jaden, “He is like so dreamy, isn't he?” Jaden sweatdrops and Serena does a classic anime face-fault at this.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, annoyed, “Okay, its official. This girl and her mind along with this duel have gone to `Never Never Land' or the Twilight Zone.”

Princess Rose: 8000

 

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “All right, it is time to get my A-game on, girlfriend!” Serena puts one card on her duel disk and calls out, “Now, I summon my Cyber Tutu in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) appears on the field in attack mode. Serena puts a card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Angel's Wing! With this card, my little dancer gets her wings!” Cyber Tutu leaps into the sky and gains a pair of huge white angel wings coming out of her back. Serena then tells Rose, “Sorry, `your majesty', if you don't have a monster on the field that has less attack points than my cute dancer, then she gets to dance right over your life-points!”

 

Rose exclaims, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

Serena shouts out, with a smile, “Let's see your nasty prince protect you from this! Tutu, direct attack! Pounding Pirouette!” Cyber Tutu spins around in mid-air, dives right at Princess Rose, and slams her left knee into her gut causing her to lose 1000 life-points.

 

Rose yells out, angrily, “That's no way to treat a lady!”

 

Serena tells Rose, “If you are angry about that, then you won't like this! Since Tutu has Angel's Wing on her, when she kicks some of your life-points away, you lose three hundred additional life-points!” Rose gasps in shock as she loses 300 more life-points, thanks to Angel's Wing's effect. Serena puts the last two cards in her hands in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with two cards face-down!”

 

Mina exclaims, excitedly, “Oh, yeah! Way to go, girlfriend! Kicking her royal butt Duel Academy style!”

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and exclaims, “All right! I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman in attack mode!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Bubbleman (800/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden tells Rose, “And he's got a little trick, too! Since he is the only card on my field, I get two more cards from my deck!” Jaden draws two more cards from his deck, puts them into his hand, takes one card from his hand, puts it into the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, it's time for Polymerization! Bubbleman, combine with Clayman!” Bubbleman and Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000), who appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex, as Jaden discards the two named cards to his graveyard, takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts the card on his duel disk, and exclaims, “To form Elemental Hero Mudballman in defense mode!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Mudballman (1900/3000) comes to the field in defense mode. Jaden puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with two face-downs.”

Rose draws one card from her deck and says, “Whatever. Watch this.” Rose puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Awesome! It is my favorite! Pot of Greed! Two more cards for me!” Rose draws two more cards from her deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and exclaims, “Oh my gosh! I can totally play Foolish Burial! Just in case you are like out of loop, boys and girls, now, I can totally move a card from my deck to my graveyard.” Rose goes through her deck, takes one card from it, puts into her graveyard slot, and puts her deck back in her duel disk. Rose puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Flute of Hamelin spell. Now, this is where things get totally tubular. First, I take a card in my grave, like my Treeborn Frog, then send every other frog is sent to the graveyard. Later boys!” Rose takes two more copies of the Treeborn Frog (100/100) from her deck, puts them into the graveyard slot, and Rose says, “Now, feasts your eyes on my big hunk. Because he gets five hundred attack points for every Treeborn Frog in my grave for a total of four thousand attack points!” D.3.S. Frog's stats increase from 2500/2000 to 4000/2000!

 

Tyranno exclaims, “For a ditz, she sure can add quickly!”

 

Rei says, seriously, “No joke, Hassleberry. And that overgrown toad is stronger than Jaden's Mudballman and Serena's Tutu!”

 

Rose tells Rei, “It's a frog! And thanks to him, your monster's about to croak!” Rose points at Mudballman and the frog blasts his tongue at Mudballman, which wraps around him, and pulls him into its mouth.

 

Jaden exclaims, “Hey, let go!” However, D.3.S Frog literally eats Mudballman whole and Serena, Mina, and Rei give a nervous sweatdrop when they see this.

 

Serena says, worriedly, “Yipe! I hate to see what he wants for dessert!”

 

Jaden calls out, “I play my face-down! Hero Signal!” Jaden's face-down card is the Hero Signal trap card and Jaden says, “When one of my monsters is destroyed, I get to play a new one as long as it is an Elemental Hero that's level four or less.” Jaden goes through his deck and says, “So many choices . . . Wait! I know!” Jaden takes out one card from his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk, and exclaims, putting the card on his duel disk, “Elemental Hero Avian!” Soon after, Mudballman is replaced by Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) in attack mode.

 

Rose puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, not impressed, “Oh, please! Just gag me! De-Fusion will take care of him!”

 

Serena's and Jaden's non-brainwashed friends were alarmed at this and Tyranno exclaims, “Don't tell me!”

 

Mina tells Tyranno, “She's bringing THEM back!” D.3.S Frog vanishes from the field as all three DES Frogs (1900/0 X 3) in attack mode.

 

Rose exclaims, excitedly, “My princes have come to the rescue!” Jaden, Serena, Avian, and Tutu sweatdrop at this while Tutu and Serena scratches their chins in pure confusion about this. Rose then points at Serena's and Jaden's two monsters and calls out, “All right, boys, attack their monsters!” The three frogs head for Serena's and Jaden's two monsters with the first one heading for Serena's Tutu.

 

Serena shouts out, “I don't think so, Rose! Reveal Doble Passé!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be her Doble Passé trap card and says, “Thanks to this, I take the attack of your little frog instead of my Tutu!” Serena puts her hands in front of her and says, drolly, “Oh, man! I hope that I don't get warts!” Cyber Tutu leaps out of the way of the first attack and the first DES Frog slams into Serena, costing her and Jaden 1900 life-points.

 

Rose tells Serena, perplexed, “Like what was the point of all that? You are weaker than before.”

 

Serena tells Rose, with a sly grin, “The point is `your majesty' that since I took your frog's attack, Tutu is able to attack you directly!” Rose gasps in shock and Serena shouts out, “Tutu, do your stuff!” Cyber Tutu creates a whirlwind and Rose covers herself as she gets hit by the powerful winds, costing her 1000 life-points. Serena then says, “Plus, since Tutu still has Angel's Wing, you lose three hundred more points!” Rose's life-points are lowered by another 300 points, thanks to Angel's Wing.

 

Rose tells Serena, annoyed, “Whatever. My other two princes are going to make short work of your monsters.” The second DES Frog heads straight for Cyber Tutu and the third DES Frog heads for Elemental Hero Avian.

 

Serena calls out, seriously, “That's why I have my Angel's Shield trap!” Serena's other face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with a picture of Cyber Angel Idaten with two white angel wings coming out of her back acting as a shield against some kind of energy blast. Serena tells Rose, “Since your attacking a monster with Angel's Wing equipped to it, this trap card stops your attack and give Jaden and me life-points equal to attacking monster's original attack power!” Cyber Tutu's wings give off a bright glow as they enlarge and form a shield that stops the second DES Frog's attack as well as increasing Serena's and Jaden's life-points by 1900 more points. Serena then says, “However, this card allows you one extra card from your deck.” Rose draws one extra card from her deck as her final DES Frog moves in against Elemental Hero Avian.

 

Jaden shouts out, excitedly, “Nice work, Serena! Now, it's my turn! I play my Hero Ring!” Jaden's second face-down card is revealed to be the Hero Ring trap card causing a red shield to attached to Avian's right arm and Jaden says, with a smile, “Pretty sweet, huh? Besides giving Avian a cool new look, Hero Ring protects him from monsters with nineteen hundred attack points or more!” Rose's final DES Frog slams into the Avian's shield and is slammed back.

 

Rose exclaims, worriedly, “Oh! Jeffery! Roosevelt! Crusald! How dare they use you like that?!”

 

Serena sweatdrops and exclaims, drolly, “Great! Now, they have names!”

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, seriously, “I think I was right about Rose. There is something not right about her and I know what.” Chazz looks at Amara, Michelle, Ami, Lita, and Hotaru and they silently nod their heads. Chazz thinks in his mind, “I knew it!”

 

Rose thinks in her mind, annoyed, “Okay, I am so over this duel!” Rose puts one card on her duel disk and exclaims, “Okay, I'm sacrificing my boyfriends to summon my boyfriends and inviting my Amphibian Angel to join us!” The three DES Frogs vanish from the field and Amphibian Angel (1400/1400) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Jaden says, nervously, “He isn't too big on points.”

 

Rose says, “Yeah, but what he lacks in strength, he totally makes up with his special ability. Thanks to my Amphibian friend, here, all of your traps and spells on the field have to sit this one, babes.”

 

Soon after, Jaden's Hero Signal shatters and he says, shocked, “Oh, man!”

 

Rose says, with a smile, “One more thing, I've got one more surprise. Remember my princes? Well, they are like totally party crashing!” Soon after, all three DES Frogs (1900/0 X 3) and D.3.S Frog (2500/2000-4000/2000) come back to the field in attack mode.

 

Syrus exclaims, shocked, “It's a frog feast!”

 

Tyranno yells out, also shocked, “Get my bib! It's barbeque time!”

 

Rei says, “Disgusting!”

 

Mina tells Rei, nodding her head in agreement, “No joke, Rei!”

 

Rose says, with a smile, “Not bad, huh? Oh, one more thing, my Amphibian Angel is completely off-limits!”

 

Chazz's voice then booms, “Hold on!” Everyone then looks to see Chazz with Ami, Hotaru, Lita, Amara, and Michelle behind him walking towards the edge of the dueling platform.

 

Serena asks, perplexed, “Hey, who invited you?”

 

Chazz tells Rose, “Let me get in there so I can finish them off! Because you don't got what it takes!”

 

Jaden exclaims, seriously, “Wait a second! You can't just butt in!”

 

Serena nods her head and says, “No kidding! Didn't your mother teach you manner, jerk?!”

 

Rose yells at Chazz, annoyed, “They're right! Hello! Rudeness!”

 

Chazz tells Rose, “Look, Rose, you lied to Sartorius-sama about your abilities! We know that you can't see monster spirits!”

 

Rose asks, perplexed, “I can't? But they are right there . . .”

 

Amara tells Rose, coldly, “Sorry, your `royal highness', but they are no monster spirits from where I'm standing. I have the power to see them and I don't see any `frog princes' with you.”

 

Chazz tells Rose, “That's right! Your `spirits' are as real as the next King of Games will be Jaden Yuki or Serena Tsukino will be the first ever `Queen of Games'! I've seen those annoying spirits, morning, noon, and night for the past year, got that! So, I deserve to be there, not a poser like you! I'll make Jaden and that `Obelisk Princess', Serena Tsukino, see the light!”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Huh? What does he mean by calling me `Obelisk Princess'?” Serena then shakes the thought out of her mind, gets really annoyed like she never felt before, and exclaims to Chazz, annoyed and in a sarcastic tone not seen in her before, “Yeah, right, white geek! And Sailor Moon will fly from the moon to crown you King of Games, give you a crown and specter, and she and the Sailor Scouts will try to ask your hand in marriage! Get a life, dork!”

 

Chazz exclaims, angrily, “What did you just say?!”

 

Serena then realizes what she just said and she thinks, perplexed, “Did I just really do what I think I just did?”

 

Mina asks, hearing Serena yell out in tone not used in her before, “Did Serena . . . just use sarcasm that she never used before and did she call Chazz a `geek' and `dork'?”

 

Rei says, “You are not imagining things.” Rei thinks in her mind, “Guess that Ami, Hotaru, Lita, Amara, and Michelle getting brainwashed is getting to Serena even more than she thought.”

 

Even the five brainwashed Sailor Scouts' eyes widen in shock and surprise and Jaden asks Serena, surprised, “Whoa! Where did that come from Serena?”

 

Serena replies, lowly, “Wish I knew.”

 

Rose says, in a pleading tone, “Hold on! I'm so not lying! It's true! Just look! They're for real! Ever since I was a little diva, I used to spend all of my time alone, but then, the instant I read the story of The Frog Prince . . . Poof! My prince showed and soon all of them showed up!”

 

Lita says, coldly, “Oh, come on! As if!”

 

Chazz says, plainly, “Lita's right! You're insane, Rose!”

 

Jaden calls out, strongly, “Wrong, Chazz!” When everyone looks at Jaden, he says, “You know what, spirits don't usually come from Dueling Cards, sometimes they come from a person's heart.”

 

Serena nods her head and says, giving her usual smile, “That's right, Jaden. And as much as it is crazy for me to admit, if they don't believe you, we do, Rose. Just call me a sucker for stories like yours.”

 

Mina chuckles and says, with a smile, “That's our Serena! Always with open and kind heart!”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, “You've got all of your spirits . . .”

 

Serena then says, finishing, “ . . . And we've got ours!”

 

Chazz then says, “Well, that confirms it. All three of you are nuts. But spirits or no spirits, there's one thing that I'll make sure of and that's the you three see the light!” Chazz laughs as he, Alexis, Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michelle walk away.

 

Jaden says, “And he thinks we're nuts.”

 

Serena nods her head in agreement and says, “No joke. Brainwashed or not, Chazz is still one heck of nutcase.”

 

Jaden tells Rose, with his usual smile, “Hey, Rose. Just because we're friends doesn't mean that Serena and I will go easy on you!”

 

Rose tells Jaden and Serena, laughed, “Well, I hope not!” Soon after, Winged Kuriboh appears on Jaden's right shoulder and Serena's three Cyber Angel Sisters, Benten, Idaten, and Dakini, to appear in their `spirit forms' causing our two Chosen Duelists to giggle in delight.

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, putting the card in the spell/trap slots, “Okay, I play my Card of Sanctity! This forces all of us to draw until we have six cards in our hands!” All three duelists then draw until they have six cards in their hands, Serena puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “Next, I sacrifice good old Tutu for this new bad girl! My Cyber Amazon in attack mode!” Cyber Tutu vanishes from the field and then a female humanoid monster that looks similar to Amazoness Fighter, but with silver hair, Japanese ivory-like skin, bright blue eyes, and wearing metallic armor where it clothing for Amazoness Fighter, plus a pair of black fingerless fighting gloves over her hands. This new monster, Cyber Amazon, has 2100/1600 stats, it is a Warrior-type monster, and it is a Earth attribute monster. Serena tells Rose, “Plus, my Cyber Amazon can negate any and all special abilities of the monster that it attacks as long it isn't a Warrior, Spellcaster, and Machine type monster.”

 

Rose says, worriedly, “No!”

 

Serena then says, “However, it is going to get worse for you, Rose. Since my Cyber Tutu was wearing Angel's Wing when she left us, I get one more card from my deck!” Serena then draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next, I play my Block Attack spell card! This card forces your `big hunk' over there to switch from attack mode to defense mode!” Soon after, D.3.S Frog switches from attack to defense mode. Serena puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Trap Booster! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Serena discards one card from her hand, puts another card from her hand, and says, “And I play my Call of the Haunted! Making her repeat performance: Cyber Tutu!” Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) reappears on the field in attack mode. Serena puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Fulfillment of the Contact! I give up eight hundred of our life-points to bring back one Ritual Monster back to the field! So, Idaten, time for a comeback!” Serena's and Jaden's life-points then drop by 800 and Cyber Angel Idaten (1600/2000) comes back to the field in attack mode. Serena then states, “And thanks to Idaten, I get another card back from the graveyard!” Serena takes one card from her graveyard slot, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “And guess what? It is my Ritual Weapon! Now, Idaten gets a sweet boost of fifteen hundred extra attack and defense points!” Cyber Angel Idaten's stats increase from 1600/2000 to 3100/3500!

 

Mina asks, curiously, “Do you think she will make it work this time?”

 

Rei says, plainly, “If she can't . . . then she and Jaden will be wearing white next time we see them.”

 

Serena calls out, “Now, Cyber Amazon, attack her Amphibian Angel with Amazon Fury Fists!” Cyber Amazon then leaps towards Amphibian Angel and Serena tells Rose, “And remember, his abilities are gone since my Cyber Amazon's super-power makes your overgrown frog croak!” Soon after, Cyber Amazon slams one thousand punches into Amphibian Angel causing him to groan out as he is destroyed causing Rose to lose 700 life-points. Serena then shouts out, “Next, my Idaten, sends your `big hunk' to the Frog Heaven!” Idaten fires an arrow at D.3.S Frog and he gives a loud croak as he is destroyed.

 

Rose shouts out, horrified, “No! My big hunky prince!”

 

Serena then says, “Plus, Tutu goes right at your life-points since your remaining monsters have more power than her!” Serena then commands, “All right, Tutu, show her what you got!” Cyber Tutu spins around as she rushes right at Rose and Tutu slams her right leg into Rose's right arm causing her to lose 1000 life-points. Serena tells Jaden, “Jaden, it's all up to you!”

 

Jaden tells Serena, “You've got it, Serena!” Jaden draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play Pot of Greed!” Jaden draws two cards from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and calls out, “Now, I play Elemental Hero Burstinatrix in attack mode!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my O-Oversoul spell! Thanks to this handy spell, I can summon one Elemental Hero from the graveyard! So, come on back Clayman!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000) comes back to the field in attack mode. Jaden's Field Spell slot on his duel disk opens, Jaden puts a card in the slot, and says, “But I'm not done, yet, time for some Skyscraper action!” When the Field Spell slot closes, a huge amount of buildings come out from under the ground. Jaden then says, “This isn't just a change of scenery! Now, if an Elemental Hero is weaker than the monster it is attacking, it gets one thousand additional attack points!” Elemental Hero Avian's stats increase from 1000/1000 to 2000/1000! Jaden then puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “And next, this next card is called Power Charger and it raises my Avian's power even more. You see, when he destroys a monster in battle that destroyed monster's attack points are added to his own!” Rose gasps in shock and Jaden puts one more card in the spell/trap slots, declaring, “Last, but not least, I play my Feather Shot spell! This gives Avian an additional attack for every monster that I have out on my field!”

 

Rose exclaims, shocked, “No way! You're kidding me!”

 

Mina exclaims, excitedly, “Awesome!”

 

Tyranno says, amazed, “That means . . .”

 

Syrus exclaims, finishing for Tyranno, “That means Jaden and Serena are going to win, gang!”

 

Bonaparte says, also amazed, “And Rose . . .”

 

Crowler then states, finishing, “. . . Is going to wilt.”

 

Rei says, with a sly smile, “Big time!”

 

Jaden then calls out, “Go time! All right, Avian, attack her princes!” Elemental Hero Avian rises into the air, fires multiple feathers from his wings at one of the DES Frogs, destroying it, costing Rose one hundred life-points.

 

Rose shouts out, solemnly, “Bye Jeffery!” Elemental Hero Avian's stats then change from 2000/1000 down to 1000/1000 and Power Charger glows as his stats rise 1000/1000 to 2900/1000! He continues to shoot feathers as his target changes to the second DES Frog, destroying it, and costing Rose 1000 life-points. Rose calls out, solemnly, “Roosevelt!” Power Charger glows again as Avian's stats rise from 2900/1000 to 4800/1000 and he launches his final assault of feathers at the last DES Frog, destroying it, and taking 2900 life-points from Rose's score, ending the duel immediately. Rose yells out, solemnly, “Crusald!” Soon after, Princess Rose falls to the ground on her knees.

Jaden and Serena shout out in unison, “That's game!” All of the non-white students start cheering for our duo as the white student just stare at them with intense and serious cold stares.

 

When Serena and Jaden see Rose's depressed form and on her knees, Serena asks Rose, concerned, “Rose, are you okay?”

 

Rose glares at the two of them and says, annoyed, “No! I broke a few of my nails! Someone call my daddy!” Rose sticks her tongue out at them, rises to her feet, and turns as she walks away.

 

Jaden's and Serena's duel spirits appear beside them and Serena thinks in her mind, “Hope I don't become like that when I become Queen of Crystal Tokyo.”

 

Cyber Angel Benten smiles at Serena and tells her, telepathically, “No, Princess! You are a noble and true spirit! Plus, you are sailor warrior with an open heart and soul! However, she isn't a `bad' person. Just living alone and being `royalty' made her this way. If she had true friends like you did, she might have turned out differently! She wouldn't be such . . . such a diva.”

 

Cyber Angel Dakini then telepathically says, with widened look in her eyes, “However, I believe that she wasn't lying about her spirits. Take a look.” Soon after, Jaden, Serena, and their four Duel Spirits look to see a green orb that contains a small frog dressed like a prince appear, bows to them, and follows Rose away.

 

Jaden and Serena think in their minds in unison, with smiles on their lips, “So they were real after all!” Just then Hassleberry, Syrus, Bastion, Rei, and Mina run over to the field and Mina hugs Serena.

 

Mina yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Serena!”

 

Syrus says, also happy with what happened, “You won!”

 

Tyranno tells them, “Anyone for frog's legs?!”

 

Rei yells out, annoyed, “Are you for real, pal?!”

 

Mina asks Serena, “So, where are we going?”

 

Jaden says, “Oh, yeah! The trip!”

 

Serena asks, curiously, “Do any of you have an idea where to go?”

 

Crowler yells out, annoyed, “Oh, choose already!”

 

Bonaparte shouts out, also annoyed, “And choose quickly!”

 

Jaden gets the microphone and yells out into it, “Testing! Testing! Hello?! Is this thing on?! Well, there is only one place that I want to go . . . We're going to Yugi's hometown of Domino City!”

 

Flashback; Within the `White Dorm'

 

Back in the `White Dorm', Sartorius flips over one of his Tarot cards, revealing it to be The Tower Tarot card, and he says, with a sly grin, “How very appropriate! Those two should be careful because destiny will catch up with both of them as Ms. Moon should know by now!” Sartorius then gets an evil laugh and cackles wildly.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning to the present day, Serena thinks in her mind, “After the duel, I learned that before all of insanity started when Chazz brainwashed the male Obelisk Blue dorm that many of the Blue students along with practically many other students called me the `Princess of Obelisk Blue' since I was becoming the best female student in Duel Academy and Obelisk Blue second only to Alexis Rhodes. Personally, I was glad to go on this field trip to Domino City. It allowed me some relief from all of this `Society of Light' and `brainwashing' stuff, but I couldn't keep it out of mind for long. Not as long as my friends were under that asshole's control. However, even on the field trip, Sartorius was still plotting against us! When we were inside of Domino, Sartorius called on his sister, Sarina, and her `Light Brigade', four deadly duelists that she gave incredible powers to. She used her powers to seal us within the city and then she used two of her `team', Frost and Thunder, to capture Syrus and Hassleberry in order to draw Jaden and Aster into a duel to find which one of them was the `Chosen Duelist' between them. We tried to get information from the Society of Light, but Alexis, Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michelle threw Jaden and me out . . . literally! But then that rotten jerk, Chazz, arrived to tell us to come to Kaibaland tomorrow if we ever wanted to see Syrus and Hassleberry, again. However, our troubles just started since the other two members of her `Light Brigade' ran away because Sarina lost faith in them. These members, known as Blaze and T-Bone, decided that the only way to make sure they score some `points' with their `boss' was to find Jaden Yuki and your truly and defeat us. Soon enough, they find us even through they don't know it, yet. And I find myself going one on one with the fiery Blaze and his powerful Fire deck . . .”

 

Flashback; duringthe school `field trip' to Domino City

 

Inside of the Slifer's encampment near the river when Yugi and Atem dueling against Marik's mind-slave Strings and Slifer the Sky Dragon, we find Serena putting her dueling deck inside of her duel disk that's attached to her left arm, activating it, while another male duelist with flaming red hair, wearing yellow tinted sunglasses, and wearing a black and red jacket, black pants, and white sneakers, does the same with another duel disk attached to her left arm. Waiting by the left side of this young man was another young man with dark brown hair under a black baseball cap, wearing a brownish-orange jacket over a white shirt, brown pants, and white sneakers. The flaming haired young is known as Blaze and brown haired young man is known as T-Bone. On the meanwhile, Rei, Mina, Darien, Trista, Bastion, Atticus, who joined them after getting kicked around by Society of Light members while trying to visit his sister, Jaden, and two guardian cats as well as Yugi's aging grandfather, Solomon Moto, watched with the Slifer Red students on the sidelines.

 

Blaze asks Serena, “By the way, I didn't catch your name?”

 

Serena tells Blaze, “Oh. My name is Serena . . . Serena Tsukino.”

 

Blaze and T-Bone gasp in shock and T-Bone exclaims, “Wait! The Serena Tsukino?! That Obelisk Blue student that's always with Jaden Yuki?!”

 

Jaden says, perplexed, “Yep! That's her! And I'm the one and only Jaden Yuki!”

 

Blaze and T-Bone gasp in shock and Blaze says, with a wide grin, “Well, this is our lucky day, T-Bone!”

 

T-Bone nods his head and says, “Yeah, dog! We will get some mad points with the boss if we bring the two of them in!”

 

Rei asks, seriously, “What do you mean?! Why do you want Serena and Jaden?!”

 

Darien asks, seriously, “Who do you work for?!”

 

T-Bone asks them, “Have you heard of Sartorius?”

 

The group gasps in shock and Darien exclaims, seriously, “You work for Sartorius?!”

 

Blaze says, with a sly grin, “Actually, his sister, Sarina.”

 

Our heroes' and heroines' eyes grow wide and Serena asks, perplexed, “Wait! Sartorius has a sister?”

 

T-Bone tells Serena, “True dat, girl! Sarina's the reason that we're as powerful as we are now! She is one rocking miko!”

 

Rei exclaims, seriously, “I should have known! That huge spirit barrier that was created around this city and those Duel Monster spirits that we saw in the sky that were summoned could only have been called by a miko like I am!”

 

Jaden asks, in a serious tone, “Did you kidnap my friends?! Where are they?!”

 

Blaze tells Jaden, “Maybe, little boy. However, if you want to get that info, your little `girlfriend' over there has to beat me in a duel and you've got to beat my pal, T-Bone. If win at least one of our matches, you will get the information. However, if little miss princess there loses to me, she must willing leave all of you, head over to where the Society of Light is staying, and willing meet Sartorius to be `inducted' into his Society of Light. And the same thing goes if you lose to T-Bone, Jaden. You must willingly surrender yourself to Sartorius and join his Society of Light. And if both of you lose . . . well, you can guess. But hey, all you need to do is win, once, so, what the matter with losing one of you?”

 

Mina tells Serena, “No way, Serena! If you lose, you have to hand over to Sartorius and become another of his brainwashed puppets!”

 

Serena tells Mina, “I don't have a choice, Mina! If we don't duel these `goons', we may never see Syrus and Hassleberry again!”

 

Darien tells Serena, worriedly, “It's too risky, Serena!”

 

Serena tells Darien, “I'm sorry, Darien-chan, but I can't and won't leave any friends behind!” Serena tells Blaze, with her `game face', “All right, pal, get your game on!”

 

Blaze tells Serena, “Bold words!” Serena and Blaze draw cards from their decks until they have five cards in their hands.

 

Serena and Blaze yell out in unison, “Duel!”

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “Ladies first!” Serena puts one card on her duel disk and says, “First, I summon Cyber Gymnast to the field in defense mode!” Cyber Gymnast (800/1800) appears on the field in defense mode. Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn with one face-down.”

 

Blaze draws one card from his deck and says, “I'll show you how's it's done, `princess'!” Blaze puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “First, I play my Fiend's Sanctuary! This card allows me to summon one Metal Fiend Token to the field!” Soon after, one Metal Fiend Token (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode. Blaze then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Now, I sacrifice my Token to summon my main man! Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch!” The Metal Fiend Token vanishes as Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch (2400/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Blaze then tells Serena, “Now, prepare to really get burned, little girl! Thanks to his special ability, Thestalos allows me to burn any card in my opponents and sent to the graveyard!”

 

Serena shouts out, shocked, “What?!”

 

Blaze then points to the card in the middle and says, seriously, “And I choose that one!”

 

Serena says, worriedly, “No! Not that one!” Serena then discards her Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) monster card into the graveyard.

 

Blaze then says, “If you think that's bad, wait until you see the rest of what he can do! If that card that was burned was sent to the grave was a monster, you lose life-points equal to one hundred times the number of stars that it had.”

 

Serena exclaims, horrified, “Oh no! My Dakini was an eight star monster, so, I lose eight hundred points!”

 

Blaze says, with a sly grin, “I see that you can add quite well!” Blaze then snaps his fingers and exclaims, “Thestalos, do your stuff!” Thestalos then glows a bright red and Serena screams in shock as flames engulf her costing her 800 life-points in one shot.

 

Darien, Rei, Mina, and Jaden exclaims in horror, “Serena!”

 

Blaze puts another card in the spell/trap slots and he says, “I'm not done, yet! Now, I play my Fairy's Meteor Crush! If my Thestalos attacks a monster with less defense points than his attack points, the difference between their powers is blasted right back at you!”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “That's not good.”

 

Blaze calls out, “Thestalos, show that Duel Academy girl what you are made of!” Thestalos launches a blast of flames from its hands that totally vaporize Serena's Cyber Gymnast!” Blaze then says, with a sly smile, “And thanks to my spell, you get burned with the extra damage!” Thestalos fires flames directly at Serena and she screams as she loses 600 more life-points are taken from her, thanks to Fairy Meteor Crush.

 

Darien exclaims, worriedly, “Oh no! Serena!”

 

Blaze puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “And I'll end with this card face-down.”

Serena says, as she draws one card from her deck, “I reveal my face-down card! Call of the Haunted!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted trap card and she says, “Now, I can summon my Cyber Gymnast back to the field!” Cyber Gymnast (800/1800) then comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

Blaze says, with a sly grin, “Ha. My Thestalos already torched that monster and this time, it won't be different.”

 

Serena tells Blaze, “I'm going to have to disagree with you Blaze. You see, my Cyber Gymnast allows me to destroy one monster on the field as long as I get rid of one card from my hand.”

 

Blaze exclaims, shocked, “Say what?!”

 

Serena discards one card from her hand and says, “So, I send this card packing to snuff out your overgrown firecracker!” Cyber Gymnast glows and Thestalos explodes as he is destroyed.

 

Blaze says, with a sly grin, “Sorry, toots, but you fell right into my trap.”

 

Serena asks, worriedly, “What do you mean?”

 

Blaze calls out, “My Backfire trap card that's what?!” Blaze's face-down card is revealed to be the Backfire trap card and Blaze says, with a sly grin, “As long as card remains on the field, when you snuff out one of my Fire monsters, this card burns away five hundred of your life-points.”

 

Serena says, drolly, “I should have known! Rei always uses that card with her Fire deck of hers!” Soon enough, Serena screams out as flames engulf her, taking away 500 life-points from her score. Serena says, with a strong tone, “Okay, fine! But that doesn't mean I'm done, yet! Now, I sacrifice my Cyber Gymnast to summon Cyber Amazon in attack mode!” Cyber Gymnast vanishes from the field as it is sacrificed and then Cyber Amazon (2100/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena shouts out, “You must have taken a chunk out of my life-points, but you are still primed for a direct attack! Amazon, give this hothead a lesson in manners!” Cyber Amazon leaps forwards, pounds Blaze with her fists, and Blaze groans out as he loses 2100 life-points from that attack.

 

Blaze says, with a sly smirk, “Not bad.”

 

Serena tells Blaze, putting her last card in the spell/trap slots, “You haven't seen anything, yet. I end with one face-down.”

Blaze draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two cards from my hand!” Blaze draws three cards from his deck, discards Little Chimera (600/550) and Familiar-Possessed-Hiita (1850/1500) monster cards to the graveyard, and Blaze says, “And since I sent two more Fire monsters to the grave, you get burned for one grand girl!” Serena then screams out in shock as she engulfed by flames once more and she loses 1000 more life-points.

 

Darien, Rei, Mina, and Jaden exclaim in unison and in horror, “Serena!”

 

Bastion says, seriously, “This is bad! Anymore powerful moves like that and it is all over for Serena!”

 

Atticus states, worriedly, “And if we lose her, not only will we lose one of the students that's part of the remaining pride of our dorm, we will lose one of the best chances to stop that freak, Sartorius, and getting my sis back from them!”

 

Blaze then displays a spell card with a monster covered in darkness, displaying only his eyes, and surrounded by a twister of flames in his hand, he puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “And I'm sorry to say that she is already gone. Thanks to my Eternal Flame spell card! With this little card, all monsters currently on the field that aren't Fire monster are turned into ashes!” Just then a huge amount of flames engulfs the field and Serena's Cyber Amazon is destroyed.

 

Rei yells out, “That was Serena's last line of defense!”

 

Blaze tells Rei, “No joke! And plus, my card allows me to summon one Fire Monster from my graveyard to the field in attack mode! And I choose my main man, Thestalos!” Soon after, Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch (2400/1000) return to the field in attack mode.

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Bastion says, seriously, “This is bad! If that monster strikes Serena directly, it's over!”

 

Mina shouts out, worriedly, “No, we can't lose her to that freak Sartorius!”

 

Blaze tells Serena, “Nothing personal, girlfriend, but if I don't burn you, it will be my goose on the fire! Later!” Blaze then calls out, “Thestalos, end this! Blast into ash with a direct attack!” Thestalos then launches a wave of flames right at Serena.

 

Darien, Rei, Mina, Bastion, Jaden, and Atticus yell out in unison and in horror, “Serena!”

 

Rei yells out, worriedly, “Do something, Meatball Head!”

 

Serena calls out, “I will! Reveal my face-down! Scapegoats!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be the Scapegoats Quick-Spell card and four Sheep Tokens (0/0 X 4) appears on the field in defense mode. Thestalos' attack destroys one of the four Scapegoats and Serena says, covering herself for protection, “Sorry, pal, but thanks to my cute little sheep, I'm safe!”

 

Blaze tells Serena, with a serious tone, “Those little whelps won't protect you for long!” Blaze puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play this! My Feather of a Phoenix! By discarding one card from my hand, I get to take one card from my grave and put it at the top of my deck!” Blaze discards one card from his hand and says, “And since I've discards another of my Fire Monsters, my Flame Manipulator, you lose another five hundred!” Serena yells out in shock as flames engulf, yet again, and she loses another 500 life-points. Blaze then takes out one card from his graveyard, puts it at the top of his deck, and says, “And the card that I choose to bring back is my Fairy Meteor Crush! When I draw next turn, I can give it to my Fire Monarch and as you know, the difference between his attack points and the defense power of the defense monster that I burn gets blasted out of your life-points.”

Bastion says, seriously and in his logical tone, “This is Serena's last chance. If she doesn't turn this around with this next move, this turn will be her last. Those Scapegoat have no defense power, so, once Blaze gets his hands on that spell card, it is all over and we will have lost Serena to the Society of Light.”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, “Come on, Bastion! She has gotten out of tough spots before! Remember, the duel isn't over until the last card is played!”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, “Jaden's right! I can't give up! If I do, I will end up like my friends, brainwashed puppets of that freak Sartorius, and he can use me and my Silver Crystal to take over the entire world! I can't give up! My friends, all of them, are counting on me! And Ami, Hotaru, Lita, Amara, and Michelle are counting on me to set them free and stop this freak! Plus, Syrus and Hassleberry are counting on all of us to find them and save them! I've faced great odds before and I can't just lay down now! All right, pal, just like my friend Jaden says `Time to get your game on'!”

 

Blaze tells Serena, with a sly grin, “Come on, girl! Give up! I've got to say that you aren't half bad, but you are no match for me!”

 

Serena says, with her smile, “No way, pal! There is too much on the line for me to give up! You can't ever understand, but there is too many people counting on me! Now, like someone taught me: `A duel isn't over until the last card is played'! A good friend taught me that!” Images of Serena's friends form in her mind, she takes a deep breath, and puts her hand on her deck as she prepares to draw. Serena thinks in her mind, “I know that there is a card in my deck that can turn this around! Please, my friends, goddess Selene, and mother Serenity, give me strength. I need to save all my friends and all that I love.” Serena draws one card from her deck, looks at it, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “All right! I play my Pot of Greed! This card gives me two more cards from my deck!” Serena draws two more cards from her deck and when she looks at the them, she gives a wide grin causing everyone to wonder. Serena tells Blaze, “I've got to say Blaze, you fought well, but this duel is mine!”

 

Blaze exclaims, seriously, “No way! I've been burning you since this started!”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Not anymore! First, I play my Token Thanksgiving! This card destroys all Token monsters on the field and gives me eight hundred life-points for each one!” Serena's three remaining Sheep Tokens are destroyed and Serena gains 2400 extra life-points.

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “What was the point of all that? Now, you are vulnerable to a direct attack! That card only allowed you to survive for one more turn!”

 

Serena tells Mina, putting the other card in her hand into the spell/trap slots of her duel disk, “With this, I won't need another turn, Mina! It's my Fulfillment of the Contact spell! Now, I pay eight hundred points to bring back one Ritual Monster! And I choose my Cyber Angel Dakini!” Soon after, Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Blaze shouts out, shocked, “Hold up! I didn't send that card to your grave!”

 

Serena tells Blaze, with a sly smile, “Actually, you did! Remember the card that you sent to my grave using your overgrown fire cracker's effect during your first turn?” Blaze gasps in shock and Serena says, with a smile, “Well, she's back and ready to end this! You see, when she is summoned to the field, she allows me to send one of your monsters packing! And since you only have one monster . . . Later, hothead!” Just then Blaze's monster explodes as it is destroyed thanks to Cyber Angel Dakini's special ability. Serena says, with a smile, “Of course, I lose five hundred life-points since I sent one of your Fire Monsters to your grave . . .” Serena groans out as she is engulfed by flames that take away five hundred more of her life-points, thanks to Blaze's Backfire trap card, but she smiles at Blaze and says, “But it won't matter since you are wide open!”

 

Blaze calls out, shocked, “No way!”

 

Mina exclaims, excitedly, “Awesome! Snuff this jerk out Serena!”

 

Serena calls out, “You heard Mina, Dakini! Do your stuff, girlfriend! Direct attack!” Cyber Angel Dakini leaps right at Blaze and he screams out as he is slashed by Dakini's blades, taking 2700 of his life-points, and ending this duel immediately.

After the holograms fade away, T-Bone runs over to Blaze and exclaims, “My homie! You all right?!”

 

Serena tells Blaze, with a smile, “And that's game, pal!”

 

Jaden exclaims, excitedly, “That was a sweet duel, Serena!”

 

Serena tells Jaden, with a smile, “If it wasn't for yours and my friends' encouragement, I would have lost! Thanks a lot, Jaden!”

 

Jaden tells Serena, while rubbing his head and smiling, “No problem!”

 

Mina rushes over, hugs Serena, and tells her, “Way to go, Serena!”

 

Rei tells Serena, “You had us all worried there for a moment, Meatball Head.”

 

Serena says, with a smile, “Sorry about that guys.”

 

Darien tells Serena, with a loving smile, “However, you are safe and still with us. And that's all that matters.”

 

Serena says, with a loving look in her eyes, “Oh, Darien-chan . . .”

 

On the meanwhile, Blaze gets to his feet and tells T-Bone, “I'm okay, T-Bone. But I've got to admit that girl is stronger than she looks. She really burned me that time.”

 

T-Bone nods his head in agreement and says, “That right, dog. No wonder that Sarina's brother wants her so bad.”

 

Blaze tells T-Bone, taking out his deck and giving T-Bone his duel disk, “Now, it's all up to you, T-Bone. Don't lose this duel or we are so cooked. We need Jaden Yuki.”

 

T-Bone takes the duel disk, attached it to his left wrist, and says, putting his dueling deck inside, “Word.”

 

On the meanwhile, Jaden steps forward with his duel disk attached to his left arm, puts his dueling deck inside, and says, “All right, T-Bone, get your game on! I'm going to get my friends back!” Blaze then steps out of the way, but then a feminine laugh is heard.

 

Atticus asks, perplexed, “What was that?”

 

Rei then exclaims, “Whoa! Everyone! There is a huge and powerful force around us!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Trista asks Rei, “Where Rei?” Just then a small mirror appears above Blaze and he screams as he is bathed in violet light causing him to transform into a Duel Monsters' card.

 

T-Bone shouts out, horrified, “My homie!”

 

Serena yells out, stunned, “What happened to him?!” Just then the card that Blaze transformed into goes into T-Bone's deck causing it to glow for a short time before it returns to `normal'.

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “I believe that your partner will prove more useful in this form!”

 

T-Bone calls out to the voice, “But . . .!”

 

The female voice shouts out, “Don't fail me! Bring Jaden Yuki to me!”

 

When the female voice fades away and the `presence' is gone, Jaden asks, perplexed, “Who was that?” Jaden then intensely stares at T-Bone and Jaden asks him, seriously, “Was that the one that took Syrus and Hassleberry?”

 

T-Bone says, plainly, “Maybe.” The two of them activate their duel disks and prepare for their duel.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning back to the present time, we find our Moon Princess thinking as she was leaning on the tree, “It proved that it was the ones that captured Syrus and Hassleberry. Her name was Sarina, Sartorius' sister and one powerful miko, possibly even stronger than Rei was, which was shocking, but she was well-trained and very powerful. She lead Aster and Jaden to Kaibaland where she used the virtual world's tech to split herself into two people. Talk about a split personality. Jaden and Aster, working together, dueled against Sarina and beat her. Then she revealed that she wasn't working for her brother at all. She was working to save her brother. Based on what she said, Sartorius wasn't always evil. She and her brother were born with powerful gifts and society shunned them because of those gifts, including Sartorius ability to see into the future. Sarina told us that one day a mysterious stranger came to see Sartorius to tell his fortune. When Sartorius was done, the stranger gave him a rare Duel Monsters' card as payment, but there was something evil in that card. It said that Sartorius' soul was split in two and that the Sartorius she knew was gone. Most likely, Sartorius is like Hotaru and Galaxia when they were possessed by Mistress Nine and Chaos. Some kind of evil force possessed his body and created some kind of new `evil persona' that's taken host to his body.” But then Serena begins to shed more tears and she thinks, “But . . . But what does that matter? After we got back from that field trip, things gotten worse! Sartorius sent Michelle and Amara against Rei and Mina and they forced them into a duel. Using that cheating White Veil spell card, Amara and Michelle beat Rei and Mina and I lost two more of my friends, leaving me only me with only Trista, Luna, Atriums, and Darien on my side other than Jaden and his remaining friends. And then . . . then . . . Sartorius rip my heart away when he took nearly the last vital pieces of my world . . .”

 

Flashback; Sometimeafter Bastion's duel with Chazz

 

Within the halls of Duel Academy, we find our Moon Princess desperately runs through the halls of Duel Academy's main building trying to get to Obelisk Arena. It was sometime since Bastion purposely lost his duel to Chazz and the whole of the Ra yellow dorm, expect for Syrus and Tyranno, were brainwashed into the Society of Light. During that time, Serena lost Rei and Mina to the Society of Light when they lost their tag-team duel to Amara and Michelle, who used the power of the White Veil spell card to beat them and brainwash them. These duels were tearing our gently and kind Moon Princess apart and she nearly lost it when Rei and Mina were brainwashed into the Society of Light. Now, Serena has just heard that Darien, angered by all that Sartorius is doing, and knowing that Sartorius is going directly after Serena, challenge Sartorius to a duel in order to stop him. Serena was horrified and rushes to try to stop him.

 

Serena thinks in her mind, worriedly beyond belief, “Darien . . . no . . . you can't . . . You can't duel Sartorius . . . If you do . . . you might . . . you might end up like Ami, Mina, Rei, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michelle . . . I can't lose you . . . you are the little I have left . . . Please Darien-chan . . . Please . . . Please . . . Please . . . Please don't leave me . . . PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME . . .!!!” Soon enough, Serena manages to arrive at the edge of Obelisk Arena and finds Jaden, Tyranno, and Syrus standing at the forward edge of the entrance, inside of the arena area, and with looks of horror on their faces.

 

Syrus turns back when he hears her footsteps, he gasps in shock, and he exclaims, stunned, “Serena!” Jaden and Tyranno look behind them and gasp to see Serena panting and wheezing as she tries to catch her breath.

 

Serena asks Syrus, begging tone in her voice, “Is this where Darien-chan and Sartorius are dueling?”

 

Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno become instantly nervous and Syrus tells Serena, nervously, “Yeah, but . . .”

 

Serena runs towards Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno and she exclaims, “Let me through!”

 

As Serena runs past Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno, who are unable to stop her, Jaden exclaims, worriedly, “Serena, wait!” However, it was too late. Running past, Trista, who also looking at the horrible scene by standing near the bleachers and Luna and Atriums, who were by Trista's legs. Serena gasps in pure horror at what she sees next and stops right in her tracks. In front of her, Serena finds Sartorius, surrounding by a group of white students, including Ami, Mina, Rei, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, and Michelle, all of whom were wearing white versions of the Obelisk Blue female uniforms, grinning widely as Darien puts on the male white coat of the Society of Light.

 

Serena puts her hands over her mouth, a few tears drip down her cheeks, and she says, lowly, “Dear god . . . dear god . . . no . . . please no . . .”

 

Sartorius tells Darien, with a wide smile, “Welcome, Darien Shields, to the Society of Light.”

 

Darien says, in a cold tone, “Thank you, Sartorius-sama. I know that we can truly save the world and my beloved if make her and whole world see the light.”

 

After hearing this, Serena's eyes become glazed over and she falls to her knees, her head bowed down, Luna, Atriums, and Trista lower their heads in shame and Luna says, lowly and solemnly, “Serena. . . I'm . . . I'm so sorry. I've failed you, my princess.” Luna then sheds a few tears from her eyes while Serena looks down at the ground, heartbroken and hurt in so many ways that they are too numerous to describe. Soon enough, images of Serena and her friends and all of the happy times that they had together, all of the battles that they have fought together, and all of the wonderful times, Silver Millennium, current past, and before all of this started, that Serena had with Darien flow through her mind. Soon after, they, all, shatter and the memories of how her friends, old and new, including Mina, Rei, and Bastion, were brainwashed one after one and taken away from her. Just then Sartorius, glowing a bright white, appears in her mind, laughing evilly, and taking all of her friends with his evil light. As this image grows within Serena's mind, she experiences something that she has never experienced before and never thought that you could ever imagine her to experience: Hate. Yes, pure undying hatred for one and only one person. The one person that's taking and took her friends away from her and brainwashed them into his `puppets' for world conquest under the pretext of `saving the world'. As the images of Sartorius and memories all the evil that he caused flow into her mind, the anger, the rage, and most of all, the hate that Serena is experiencing is growing stronger and stronger and building inside of her. Her right hand turns into a fist that she grips so tightly that her nails pierce through her glove into her skin causing her cuts that bleed her blood. Her breathing becomes more rapid and her solemnly and heartbroken expression on her lips turns into a very angry scowl never before seen in our Moon Princess. Serena then slowly lifts herself to her feet with her head still lowered as her eyes were still hidden from everyone as Sartorius and the Society of Light members, now including Serena's recently brainwashed love, turn to see our Moon Princess in front of them.

 

Sartorius tells Serena, with a sly grin, “Ah, Ms. Tsukino! Welcome! We are very glad that you are here! Today, your beloved `prince' has seen the light and has decided to join us.” However, Serena remains unusually silent with the angry scowl on her lips, through it is unseen by everyone else.

 

Rei tells Serena, with a sly smirk and cold tone, “So, have you decided to join us, Meatball Head? Darien-kun has seen the light, why can't you?” However, Serena continues to remain silent.

 

Atriums whispers to Luna, worriedly, “Oh man. Serena must be in total shock of Darien's brainwashing.”

 

Luna tells Atriums, worriedly, “I'm not sure that's why Serena is silent, Atriums.”

 

Atriums asks Luna, “What do you mean Luna?”

 

Luna tells Atriums, worriedly, “I'm not sure, Atriums. And I'm not sure that I like this feeling that I'm getting within my heart.”

 

Ami tells Serena, plain with a cold tone, “So, Serena-chan, have you decided to accept destiny and join us? Sartorius-sama will show you the way to bring humanity to the right future.”

 

Serena then says, lowly and with venom in her voice, “Oh, if he is so great . . . and he can see all . . . did he see . . .?” Just then Serena shoots up her head, shocking everyone with a look of pure hatred, rage, and the most shocking of all, bloodlust, in her once kind, gentle, and caring cerulean blue eyes, and she roars out in pure hate and rage, “. . . THAT I WOULD KILL THIS SON OF A BITCH FOR WHAT HE'S DONE?!!” Serena's body then becomes covered a bright silver aura, creating a huge wind and Serena's pigtails to rise into the air as tears of anger flow down her eyes and cheeks.

 

Trista, Luna, and Atriums gasp in shock at the look of hated and rage in Serena's eyes and Atriums asks Luna, worriedly, “Luna, please tell me I'm not seeing what I think I'm seeing!”

 

Luna tells Atriums, solemnly, “I wish I could, but I would be lying to you! Dear lord, it was too much for our princess' poor heart to take!”

 

Trista thinks in her mind, worriedly and solemnly, “By the goddess Selene, I never thought it was possible, but it has truly happened. Sartorius has done something that no other villain has been able to do . . . He has planted the seed of rage and hate within my princess' heart. There are legends if anger and rage fills the heart of the `children of Selene', the members of the Moon Kingdom royal family, and they are not good. May Selene help us all and our princess.”

 

Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno don't see the look of rage and hate in Serena's eyes, but they obvious notice the silver aura around her body and the wind causing Syrus to ask, “What . . . What's happening to Serena?!”

 

Tyranno yells out, worriedly, “She is pissed off big time, private! And something in my gut tells me that something big is about to go down!”

 

Jaden asks, perplexed, “Serena, what's happening to you?” On the meanwhile, Serena goes to her sub-space pocket to take out her transformation brooch while the white students, Darien, and even Sartorius step back in fear from the look of pure rage and anger never before seen in our Moon Princess' eyes.

 

Serena exclaims, her tone filled with venom and rage, “SARTORIUS, YOU HAVE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME! IF YOU WANTED ME, FINE! THEN COME AND GET ME, BUT NOW, YOU HAVE PUSHED ME TO MY LIMITS! I WILL NOT TOLERATE YOU ANYMORE! IN THE NAME OF THE MOON AND THIS UNIVERSE, I WILL SEE YOU PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES!!!” Serena then holds her transformation brooch into the air as a red aura of anger mixes with her silver aura.

 

Trista, Luna, and Atriums gasp at what Serena is going to do and Trista cries out, “Serena-hime, don't do it!” However, it was too late, the Moon Princess has been pushed too far and now, her rage has been unleashed.

 

“Moon Eternal Power, Make-up!”

 

Just then Serena's form is bathed in golden and pink light forcing everyone to cover their eyes while her Obelisk Blue uniform is ripped from her body as a sailor fuku wraps around her body and when the golden and pink light die down, allowing everyone to see, Eternal Sailor Moon replaces Serena Tsukino, but this time, she is different. Her eyes, instead of confident and strength, are filled with anger, rage, and hate, she was still shedding tears of anger, and her cheeks were red and wet from her tears.

 

Syrus exclaims, shocked, “Oh my! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?! It-It's Sailor Moon, the legendary super-heroines from Juuban!”

 

Tyranno asks Syrus, “You mean that gal that fights evil monsters and demons in Tokyo?!”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, stunned, “That's right! I can't believe it! Serena has been Sailor Moon all along!” On the meanwhile, everyone, even Sartorius slightly, is stunned by this turn.

 

Eternal Sailor Moon tells Sartorius, venom in her voice, “Get ready you fucking bastard . . . You have taken my friends . . . my love . . . and shatter my world . . . and for every single crime that you have committed . . . YOU WILL PAY!!!” Sailor Moon's body sends a silver aura shockwave that throws the white students and Serena's brainwashed friends and beloved away and causing them to fall to the ground on their bottoms, but Sartorius isn't affected in the least by Sailor Moon's `display of power'. However, Sailor Moon uses her super-speed to charge Sartorius and before he could react, Sailor Moon slams her right fist into Sartorius' chest, breaking two of his ribs with her super-strength and causing him to cough out some blood. Soon after, before anyone could react, Sailor Moon unleashes her rage on Sartorius with a fury of punches, ripping up his shirt, putting multiple black and blue's on his face, neck, and arms, and multiple badly bleeding cuts on his face. Sailor Moon then grabs Sartorius by the collar and takes him into the air, floating somewhat above the duel platform, and yells out, her voice filled with venom, rage, and hate never heard in her voice before, “DID YOU PREDICT THAT YOU FUCKING BASTARD?! DID YOU?! I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU!! YOU'VE TAKEN THE PEOPLE THAT I LOVE AND MY WHOLE WORLD FROM ME! I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU FOR THIS AND YOU WILL PAY!!! IN THE NAME OF THE MOON, I WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU PAY!!!” Sailor Moon then throws Sartorius right into the `wall' separating the stands/blenches from the dueling arena causing Sartorius' fallen form to crack it and the brainwashed leader of the SOL to get a bloody lip.

 

Tyranno exclaims, shocked by this, “Sam hill! That gal has gone hog wild on that jerk!”

 

Syrus shouts out, fearful of Sailor Moon now, “Oh, man! I never thought I would see Sailor Moon of all people consumed by rage.”

 

Jaden says, lowly and plainly, “Poor Sailor Moon . . . Poor Serena . . .”

 

Luna tells Atriums, lowly, “I knew it, Atriums! This was too much for poor Serena to bear! I can't believe this is happening, but she has become consumed by rage! I'm not sure what she will do in this state!”

 

Sailor Moon's brooch then opens to reveal the Silver Crystal, it glows with a fierce light, but instead of the pure silver, the crystal was glowing with a mixture of blood red and silver, and Sailor Moon shouts out, venom stilling filling her voice, “Are you ready asshole?! Prepare for you end! I'm going to blast you until there is nothing of left of you, but ashes, and scatter them to the far ends of the universe where you will never hurt anyone ever again!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Atriums says, lowly and fearfully, “No! She doesn't mean that!”

 

Luna tells Atriums, worriedly, sadly, and horrified, “I'm afraid she does mean it, Atriums. Sartorius has pushed her to her limits and something happened that I never thought possible. Serena, our princess, has finally `snapped' and anger and hate now consume her!”

 

Sailor Moon gathers the energy that she needs and calls out, hate and rage in her tone, “NOW, IT'S TIME TO PAY FOR YOUR CRIMES AND BE PURIFIED, BASTARD! Silver Moon Crystal . . .!!”

 

Trista yells out, begging tone, “Sailor Moon, stop!”

 

Sailor Moon stops her attack, looks at Trista, her cheeks red from the tears of pain, sorrow, and anger, tears still flowing, and she calls out, darkly, “Why should I?! He needs to be punished! I'm going to give him what he deserves!”

 

Trista tells Sailor Moon, reasoning, “You can't kill him in cold blood! It will make you a murderer, Sailor Moon! Do you want blood on your hands?! If you do this, then you will transform into a monster worse than Sartorius!”

 

Sailor Moon replies, with venom in her tone, “I don't care anymore! As long as he is stopped, my soul can go to the depths of hell for all I care!”

 

Everyone else gasps in shock and Luna says, horrified, “I was totally afraid of this. In her life, Serena never truly experience anger, rage, or hate. She was a kind, gentle, and caring soul that had an open heart to everyone, even certain enemies, without malice or hate to anyone and kind and caring towards all. But now that Serena has experienced true anger, rage, and . . . hate and it is consuming her. She is no longer in control of herself. Sartorius has broken apart our princess' kind and strong, yet, fragile heart.” Sailor Moon then looks back towards Sartorius, preparing to carry out her `promise', and looks to see her brainwashed friends, Ami Mizuno and Mina Aino, holding their arms out to stop her.

 

Mina tells Sailor Moon, in a cold and serious tone, “Stop it, Sailor Moon! We will not allow you to kills Sartorius-sama!”

 

Ami tells Sailor Moon, also in a cold and plain tone, “Sartorius-sama is a great man! And we will not let kill him just because of your damn judgmental attitude.”

 

Rei yells out at Sailor Moon, in a cold tone, “Just give it up, Meatball Head! This is destiny! You should know that better than everyone else!” Soon after, Darien slowly walks up to Ami and Mina.

 

Sailor Moon's expression soften and she asks, weakly, “Darien-chan . . .?” However, her heart is broken when Darien throws his arms to defend Sartorius along with Ami and Mina and Sailor Moon gasps in horror and pain. Sailor Moon looks into his eyes, sees the coldness within them, and she knew then and there that `he', the Darien before him, wasn't her Darien. He wasn't her prince, just another of Sartorius' brainwashed soldiers. Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal stops glowing, her arms float down to her side, and Sailor Moon remains floating in mid-air, lowering her head in silent sorrow.

 

Darien then says, in a cold and mock kind tone, “Sere', we were wrong about Sartorius-sama in the first place. He is a great man and we need to follow him if we are to truly save the world. Please join us in the Society of Light. It was meant for us to be together in this way. It is destiny.” However, Sailor Moon's tears flowing down faster than ever, her breathing becomes more rapid, and her chest bobs up and down with every rapid breath.

 

Sailor Moon then closes her eyes, arches her head back, and gives off ear-splitting scream, “NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!& #8221; Sailor Moon's scream was so intense that it sent shockwaves that causes the whole school to shake, the floor, walls, and ceiling of to crack, and windows around Duel Academy's main building to shatter, not to mention everyone to cover their ears from a scream of pain and sorrow that can surely wake the dead itself. Soon after, the screaming stops, Sailor Moon uses her Sailor Teleport ability to vanish from the building.

 

When everyone is able to uncover their eyes, Syrus exclaims, shocked, “Yow! That scream can wake the dead!”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, “Ten-four, there, private! That girl is really something else!” On the meanwhile, Hotaru immediately goes over to Sartorius and uses her powers to heal Sartorius and restore him to full strength.

 

When Sartorius gets to his feet, Hotaru asks Sartorius, in a plain tone, “Sartorius-sama, are you okay?”

 

Sartorius tells Hotaru, with his usual evil smile, “Yes, Hotaru-chan. Thank you.”

 

Hotaru tells Sartorius, bowing her head, “I'm just glad that I could help Sartorius-sama.”

 

Rei asks Sartorius, plainly, “Sartorius-sama, I don't know what make Serena would flip out like that. Don't forsake her ability to join us in the Society of Light because of this.”

 

Sartorius replies, “Why would I do that? She just doesn't understand. Her reaction is quite understandable. In time, she will come to accept us and she will be back by your side when she sees the light.”

 

Jaden's voice then booms, his voice fill of anger not heard in him before, “Not a chance, freak!” When everyone looks at Jaden, they see his eyes are full of rage not seen in him before as well, but his eyes were also filled with determination. Jaden then says, in an angered tone not seen in him before, “This time, you have gone too far, Sartorius! I won't let you get dirty hands on Sailor Moon and turn her into your puppet! No matter what I will protect her and stop you, once and for all! I will never join your rotten Society of Light!”

 

Syrus and Tyranno are surprised by Jaden's outburst of anger and Syrus asks Jaden, “Jay, are you okay?”

 

Sartorius tells Jaden, with an evil grin, “Silly boy. You can't protect her from destiny. It is her fate . . . as it was to be Sailor Moon in the first place. I already knew from her friends since they are the Sailor Scouts after all and her boyfriend is the mythical Tuxedo Mask.”

 

Jaden, Syrus, and Tyranno gasp in shock and Syrus exclaims, stunned, “Serena's friends are the Sailor Scouts?!”

 

Trista runs up to all of them and she says, “Yes, they are.”

 

Syrus asks Trista, surprised that she knew this, “Ms. Meiou?”

 

Trista holds up her henshin wand to them and says, “I know this because I am Sailor Pluto.” The three friends gasp in shock and Trista tells them, “However, for now, Darien and the girls are lost to us. We need to get you out of here.”

 

Jaden asks Trista, seriously, “What about Sailor Moon? We can't just leave! What about her friends?!”

 

Luna yells out at Jaden, in a serious tone, “There is no time to argue! You might be the only hope for saving them and the universe! We can't let you get brainwashed as well!”

 

Tyranno, Syrus, and Jaden gasp at Luna and Syrus exclaims, stunned, “What?! A talking cat?!”

 

Trista tells them, “We will explain later. For now, we find Sailor Moon. In her state, she is in great danger from herself.”

 

Jaden sighs and says, “Right.” Jaden then looks at Sartorius and says, seriously, “This isn't over! I'll be back for you!” Trista, Luna, Atriums, Jaden, Tyranno, and Syrus then run as fast as they can out of the arena in order to bring their search for the heartbroken and emotionally shattered Moon Princess.

 

Sartorius says, in a low and evil tone, “I know, Jaden Yuki. I know.”

 

Flashback; Near the Slifer Red dorms

 

By the cliff on Academy Island near the ocean where Jaden usually goes to relax and think, we find Sailor Moon sitting down on the ground and curled up into a ball, crying her eyes out, and she is totally emotionally and mentally shattered.

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Sailor Moon? Serena?” Sailor Moon looks up to see Jaden, Tyranno, Syrus, Trista, Luna, and Atriums to her left with sad and concerned look on their faces.

 

Syrus tells Sailor Moon, nervously, “Uh . . . Serena . . . Trista told us everything. We know about Luna and Atriums, your friends and Darien, and that `Silver Millennium' stuff.” Sailor Moon nods her head in understand, through weakly.

 

Jaden goes over to Sailor Moon and tells her, solemnly, “Serena . . . I'm so sorry . . . I know how you feel . . .”

 

Sailor Moon asks, weakly, “How would you know how I feel right now?”

 

Jaden replies, solemnly, “Because Sartorius took away someone that I love, too.” Sailor Moon and everyone else look at Jaden in shock and Jaden tells Sailor Moon, “She was a person that was brave and one awesome duelist. She never gave up and was the only one that loved dueling as much as me. But since I'm such a `Slifer Slacker', I couldn't tell her how I felt and now, it is too late. And she was one of the first of the girls' dorm to get brainwashed into the Society of Light.”

 

Sailor Moon says, lowly, “Alexis . . .”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, “That's right.”

 

Sailor Moon slowly stands up, unexpectedly hugs Jaden, and she says, wailing and crying in pure sorrow, “I don't get it! Why?! Why?! That bastard needed me for his plans! Why did he take my friends and the one man that I love away from me?!”

 

Tyranno replies, in a serious tone, “Because he is asshole that loves to make others suffer! He is using divide and conquer, ma'am! He is trying to weaken you and your resolve so that you will be that much easier to beat and brainwash.”

 

Jaden tells Sailor Moon, “You can't let him do that Serena! You are Sailor Moon! The champion of love and truth! You need to fight back!”

 

Sailor Moon looks at Jaden and tells him, her voice filled with sorrow, “With what?! All I have left is Luna, Atriums, and Trista! They might good friends and the greatest of help, but it is not enough! Sartorius took away practically my whole world! I . . . I nearly have nothing left!”

 

Jaden tells Sailor Moon, seriously, “You're wrong, Serena. You still have us.” Sailor Moon looks at Jaden in surprise and he tells her, “Serena, you are my friend! And I promise you that I won't give up until your friends and mine are free from that freak! And I never turn my back on a friend, ever, Serena!”

 

Sailor Moon felt warmth in her heart, warmth like a family member is comforting her, and she says, weakly, “Thank you, Jaden.” Jaden then warmly embraces Sailor Moon in order to comfort her and she embraces back, but then her brooch opens up and silver light streams out of the Silver Crystal surprising practically everyone, including Sailor Moon and Jaden as they are bathed in the silver light.

 

Syrus, Tyranno, Trista, Luna, and Atriums cover their eyes and Syrus yells out, “What?! What's going on here?!”

 

Atriums yells out, “The Silver Crystal is reacting to Jaden for some reason!” Just then the silver light fades away and when everyone else is able to look at Jaden and Sailor Moon, they gasp at what they see. Sailor Moon has transformed into her royal form of Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom and Jaden has also transformed. His hair has transformed from brunette brown to a beautiful silvery-white, the golden crescent moon sigil appeared on his forehead, he has a silver metallic neck-choker that has a golden crescent moon jewel in the center of the choker, he is wearing a black version of Prince Endymon's royal clothing, and silver version of Prince Endymon's armor with a black belt across his chest armor with a sword inside that has a silver hilt that has the golden crescent moon sigil jewel on the top center portion of the hilt and a bright grey blade with ancient Lunarian writing engraved on the blade. The two of them had their eyes closed with the Silver Crystal in both of their extended.

 

Tyranno exclaims, stunned, “Sam hill! What has happened the Sarge?!”

 

Luna yells out, shocked, “By the goddess Selene, it is him! Princess Serenity's twin brother, Prince Judai Chons Serenity, son of Queen Serenity, and our Moon Prince!”

 

Syrus calls out, stunned, “Prince?! My best friend is an alien prince?!” Soon enough, Jaden, as Prince Judai, and Princess Serenity look at each other and their eyes widen when they look at each other.

 

They don't say a thing for a few moments and Prince Judai says, plainly, “Serenity.”

 

Princess Serenity says, with a smile, “Judai, my brother.”

 

Prince Judai tells Princess Serenity, “Serenity, I know that you lost Endymon and your friends. I promised you that I will get them back and I will never go back on that promise. And I will never fall to the Society of Light.”

 

Princess Serenity nods her head and says, “I know, Judai. And I promise you that I will never let that bastard take my resolve. In the name of the moon, I will never fall either and I will never give up.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Returning back to the present time, we find Serena lying on the tree in the same area that she found out that Jaden Yuki was the reincarnation of her twin brother, Prince Judai Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. After that day, Jaden and Serena regained more of their Silver Millennium memories and for a time, Serena managed to smile and be happy . . . as long as she didn't see her brainwashed love and friends. However, even with Jaden's powers and heritage `awakened', things have only gotten worse, just recently, Atticus, Jasmine, and Mindy were lost to the Society of Light when Jasmine and Mindy dueled Alexis and Atticus dueled Sartorius to get Alexis back. Soon after, Syrus was challenged to a duel by the Society of Light and Sartorius used the pain of his brother's `transformation' into Hell Kaiser to get him to lose on purpose and join the Society of Light. That was a major blow to Jaden's heart and now, all Jaden and Serena had left in friends were Trista, who managed to avoid getting brainwashed, Luna, Atriums, and Tyranno Hassleberry, who is totally immune to the evil powers of Sartorius, thanks to the dinosaur spirit that rests within him that comes from the dinosaur bone implanted in his body to replace a lost bone. Recently, Serena learned from Trista that Crystal Tokyo has vanished and Rini is gone from existence. And until and unless she can get Darien back from Sartorius, the future is in great danger and Rini might never come back.

 

Soon after, Crowler and Bonaparte also challenge Sartorius and lost, bringing them into the Society of Light, but Trista managed to make Crowler and Bonaparte turn all power in Duel Academy to her until Chancellor Sheppard returned. However, Chancellor Sheppard quickly returned to Duel Academy and to find his school in this state: Nearly under the control of power-hungry madman. But he can't do anything unless he proves that Sartorius and the SOL are up to `no good' and based on what little evidence, there is nothing he can prove. All he can do is continue with his plans and Chancellor Sheppard announces about the GX tournament, a dueling tournament that will take place on Academy Island that will involve all of the students and dueling pros from all over the world. Every duelist has a GX medal, they must wager these medals in every duel with accepting the first duel that he or she is challenged to, and the winner of the duel gets the medals of the loser. The final winner will be the duelist with every single GX medal in the tournament. Naturally, Serena, Jaden, and Tyranno are involved and they need to fight in the tournament because they know that the SOL and Sartorius might use the tournament to spread their evil influence all over the world.

 

However, every single losing nearly everyone to Sartorius and the SOL, Jaden and Serena have lost their chipper and happy attitudes, barely cracking a smile, and the `happy spark' in their eyes is gone along with anger and rage filling their hearts towards one person. The one person that took nearly everyone that love away from them: Sartorius. Serena and Jaden swore that they will never fall to the SOL and they will get their friends back. Thankfully, Jaden and Serena have just over two weeks to prepare for the GX tournament and the Slifer Red dorm was still left for all of them. However, the Slifer Red students only make up a minority of the school and it is taking everything that Jaden, Tyranno, Serena, and Trista have to make sure that they are brainwashed along with making sure that they, themselves, aren't brainwashed as well. Things look their bleakest for our group and our Moon Princess is mentally and emotionally strained. Even through she and Jaden have become close as a brother and sister should, both of them are nearly at their limit of emotional endurance.

 

As Serena looks at the picture of her friends just after the battle with Galaxia and Chaos, she thinks, weakly, “What should I do? I feel . . . I feel so lost . . . Nearly all of my friends . . . and my Darien-chan . . . are under the control of that asshole . . . and helping him preparing to take over the world . . . brainwashing the innocent people of Earth under the pretext of saving the world . . . All Jaden and I have are Trista, Luna, Atriums, and Tyranno . . . and they are good friends, but only Luna, Atriums, and Tyranno can't be brainwashed by this `evil light' that Sartorius has. I don't know what I do if I lost Trista to that asshole. Oh, mother, I wish that I knew what to do.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Hey, sis.” Serena puts the picture away and look to the source of the voice to see none other than Jaden Yuki, her reincarnated twin brother from the moon, walking towards her. His expression is totally unlike before: His happy and cheerful expression is gone replaced by a solemn and depressed expression.

 

Serena slowly gets to her feet and says, “Hi, Jaden. I'm so sorry about Syrus.”

 

Jaden tells Serena, seriously, “It isn't your fault, Serena. It was that asshole, Sartorius. He used Syrus' pain and sorrow for his brother in order to brainwash him.”

 

Serena says, nodding her head in understanding, “I know how you feel, Jaden. But we can't just give up! We need to fight on to stop him.”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, “I know, sis. But how? The majority of the school, including our friends, are under his control. My dorm is all that's left, even through the Ra Yellow dorm is abandoned, and it is taking everything we have just to keep the Slifer Red dorm and Slifer students safe. We can't give up, but I don't know how we can fight back and take the fight to that jerk.”

 

Just then a female voice calls out, “I know a way, your majesty.”

 

Serena and Jaden whip their heads towards the voice and Serena asks, before they find the source and in a serious tone, “Who's there?!” When they look to the source of the voice, they gasp in see a brand new Sailor Scout in front of them.

 

This brand new Sailor Scout looks to be a young woman of 18 years of age had jet-black hair exact like Darien's hair expect it was in Rei's hairstyle, two sets of three small light grey feathers on the forward portion of her scalp, one set on the left side and the other set of feathers on the right side, deep brown eyes exactly like Darien's eyes and they are full of strength, determination, and independence, the ancient symbol of Earth in on her forehead in bright emerald green, her lips are a bright pink colored, her earrings are in the jewels in the form of Planet Earth with golden heart and star jewels below the `Earth jewels', her cloth neck-choker are a grass green in color with a golden heart jewel and golden jewel in the form of the ancient symbol of Earth in the center of the choker, her V-style sailor collar is a grass green in color, she has a white bodysuit with a golden heart jewel that has four light grey angel wings attached in the bust area of her uniform, her shoulder pads are designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's shoulder pads, but they are pitch black in color, her gloves are also designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's gloves, but they have black bands on them and the bands attached to the ends of the gloves have three small grey feathers on them, her mini-skirt is triple layered with grass green, black, and dark violet as the colors of the mini-skirt, on the top center portion of the mini-skirt is a copy of the golden heart jewel on the bust area of her bodysuit, the bow on the back of her skirt is also pitch black in color and is designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's bow, her light grey high-heeled boots are like Eternal Sailor Moon's boots, but they have jewel designed like the planet Earth on the top center portion of the boots and there are two light grey angel wings on each heel, and coming out of her back is four light grey angel wings. In her right hand is light grey specter with a grass green star-shaped crystal orb on the top of the specter with the ancient symbol of Earth in gold imprinted on the crystal.

 

Serena asks, surprised, “You're a Sailor Scout! Who . . . Who are you?”

 

The mysterious Sailor Scout goes on her knees and says, in a calm tone, “My name is Eternal Sailor Earth. I am Earth's premier Sailor Scout and unlike your guardians, my powers were created by the powers of the Golden Illusion Crystal of Elysion.”

 

Jaden says, “Wait! I remember you! You were Prince Endymon's younger sister! Your Sailor Scout powers were created to protect Earth and its people out of fear of my sister's guardians and the whole of the Silver Millennium as well as evil forces that can corrupt Earth and its people.”

 

Sailor Earth nods her head and says, “I see that your memories are returning, Prince Judai. I am the reincarnation of Princess Alexandria of Earth, younger sister to Endymon, and the Princess of our home kingdom. I became Earth's first Sailor Scout in order to provide protection for its people from evil forces within Earth and from other parts of the galaxy. Using the powers of the Golden Crystal of Elysion, my powers are drawn from the planet Earth and its planetary crystal, through my brother can do the same since he is the prince of Earth and holds a true star seed like I do. I know what has befallen Princess Serenity's guardians and my brother and I wish to aid to stop this madman and make him pay for his crimes.”

 

Serena tells Sailor Earth, “Thank you, but how you can help?”

 

Sailor Earth tells Serena, “Actually, you and your brother are truly the only ones that can stop this power-hungry monster. You are two of group of people known as `Chosen Duelists', one with the ability to change and alter destiny along other special qualities that Sartorius needs. However, I can give you the power that you need to stop him.”

 

Jaden asks, curiously, “How?”

 

Sailor Earth replies, “Sartorius uses an impure and evil light to blind people and manipulate their thoughts and emotions. With that's the case, Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal can't stop him since her crystal is also the power of light. There are only a few powers that can stop Sartorius and his evil light. One of them is the opposite element of light.”

 

Jaden replies, plainly, “Darkness.”

 

Sailor Earth nods her head and says, “In order to win, you, both, must harness the greatest shadows in order to stop him. For this, I have brought two of the most powerful forces of darkness that the positive forces can weld against Sartorius.” Jaden and Serena gasp in shock and Sailor Earth says, “However, you need to know that even through these powers of darkness are used to maintain the balance of life in the universe, they can be misused and be just as dangerous as the evil light of Sartorius. Because when embracing the powers of darkness, even for good purposes, in a way, you are embracing the `darker side' of yourselves and if your `dark sides' become greatly influenced by emotions like malice and hate, these powers can cause great harm more than good. Like the Silver Crystal, what these powers can do depend on the welder of the power. Plus, there is a chance if you let your emotions, especially your `darker ones', get the better of you, you might be swallowed by darkness forever.”

 

Serena then says, seriously, “I don't care anymore.” Sailor Earth jumps in surprise from her statement and Sailor Earth sees the anger, rage, and determination in her eyes as she says, seriously, “Sartorius took the man that I loved, your brother, and my friends, all of whom, including Darien, are my family. They are my world. He had no right to turn them into his brainwashed puppets just because of me. I don't care what it takes. I want them back and I want Sartorius to pay for his crimes. I don't care what happens to me as long as the girls and Darien are saved, Jaden's friends are saved, and Sartorius is punished.”

 

Jaden nods his head in agreement and says, seriously, “You've got no arguments from me. He went too far, especially when he used Syi's pain from his older brother, Zane, to brainwash him. Plus, he hurt my sister by taking all that she loved from her. I want to stop Sartorius, get my friends back, save Serena's friends and boyfriend, and stop Sartorius for hurting anyone else. Take us to this power.”

 

Sailor Earth nods her head and says, “Follow me.” Without another word needed to be said, Serena and Jaden, with serious and determined looks on their faces, follow Sailor Earth to wherever she has stored this great power of darkness that's necessary to defeat Sartorius and the two children of the moon are ready to do what it takes to stop Sartorius and protect all that they love . . .

 

Next time in Chapter 3: Embracing the Darkness: Sailor Earth leads Serena and Jaden into the abandoned dorm where they find the Millennium Stone with the seven Millennium Items and a shocking surprise, the true Black Crystal of Nemesis, waiting for them! Sailor Earth explains about the origins of the true Black Crystal and that the one Wiseman used against our Moon Princess before was a fake he created based on this one. The desire to stop Sartorius and save their friends from him and the Society of Light burning strong, Serena and Jaden embrace the darkness and gain new dark powers. Soon after, Sartorius senses a group of new students on their way to Duel Academy, including three more Chosen Duelists who are represented by The Priestess, The Empress, and The Temperance cards. Soon after, Kagome Higurashi and Inuyasha arrive on Duel Academy with Kagome being a new Ra Yellow student while Inuyasha is there to protect her. Trista is the first one to greet her, but she isn't alone for long when Crowler and a group of SOL members, including Serena's brainwashed friends as well as some of Jaden's brainwashed friends, arrive to take care of the job. They are stopped by Jaden and Serena, who have some radical new `dark forms', and needless to say, there are plenty of shocked surprises from Trista and Serena's `former' friends. Another surprise is when Jaden and Serena inform Crowler and the SOL that Serena has been appointed by Chancellor Sheppard as the temporary new Vice-Chancellor of Duel Academy and she has the Disciplinary Action Squad to back her up. However, Jaden gets a surprise when he sees Kagome and they find that not only she was here, but her cousin, our ex-spirit detective, Yusuke Urameshi, his elder twin sister, Hikari Urameshi, Kuwabara, his best friend and fighting rival, Hiei, Kurama, Botan, and Yukina, Hiei's sister, arrive on Duel Academy with Yusuke, Hikari, and Kurama, who is still in a human's body, being Obelisk Blue students and Kuwabara being a Ra Yellow student. Hiei and Yukina are here as aid and protection and Botan are a temporary assistant to Chancellor Sheppard, which was arranged by Komena, which sent Yusuke and his friends to Duel Academy in the first place since Spirit World detected the imbalance of light and darkness. However, Yusuke had personal reasons to come to Duel Academy and namely to help and save Keiko Yukimura from the SOL, but finds to his horror that she has already been brainwashed into the Society of Light. Enraged Yusuke swears revenge against the Society of Light and Sartorius and on the meanwhile, another new female Obelisk Blue student arrives named Alinna and Serena and Jaden know her. With help from the DAS, Serena and Jaden lead Yusuke, Kagome, and the others away where they find out that Serena is Sailor Moon and the Moon Princess and Jaden is her brother. Why do they reveal their secret? It is because Alinna, revealed to be Sailor Earth's civilian form, reveals that Yusuke, Kagome, and Hikari also had `past lives' from the Silver Millennium and that they are `Chosen Duelists' like Serena and Jaden. Learning this information, Serena and Jaden, with aid from Alinna, awaken their `heritages', and Yusuke and Hikari along with Tyranno Hassleberry chose the embrace the powers of darkness like Serena and Jaden. On the meanwhile, Serena and Chazz duel in front of the mainly abandoned Ra Yellow dorm, since everyone in that dorm expect Hassleberry joined the SOL, and much to everyone's surprise and horror, expect for Yusuke, Hikari, Jaden, and Hassleberry, Serena reveals her new Millennium Necklace and transforms the duel into a deadly shadow game where every life-point lost is a shock to the system LITERALLY! Ruthless beating Chazz down, Serena finishes Chazz off by using Slifer the Sky Dragon and revealing that Jaden and Serena have the three Egyptian God cards as well as the power of the shadows! Horrified by seeing their princess defeat Chazz in such a manner, Trista, Luna, and Atriums find out what happens and let's just say that they might not like, they won't have a choice in the matter. Soon after, one evening, a mysterious Sailor Scout attacks the `White Dorm' and when the brainwashed Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask, infused with powers based on Sartorius' own power, come to investigate, they find to their horror that it is none other than Serena with a new `Dark Sailor Form' of Eternal Sailor Eclipse, the Sailor Scout of Shadows and Balance. Together with Yusuke's help, the `Dark Moon Princess' beat down her friends and spread fear and chaos through the school. Keiko becomes one of the witnesses of the attack and is horrified to see Yusuke like this. Keiko becomes determined to being her ex-boyfriend at the time into the Society of Light, but Yusuke, infused with the dark powers of the Millennium Items and the Black Crystal, isn't going to make it easy on her. Yusuke, determined to save Keiko, plans to give Keiko everything that he's got in another shocking Shadow Game and plans to take her down! What has happened to our Moon Princess and Prince?! What's the story behind her new `Dark Sailor Form' of Sailor Eclipse?! And can Yusuke defeat his brainwashed love even it means breaking her apart in a deadly Shadow Game?! All of the answers and more in the shocking, dramatic, and action-packed chapter of Darkness Moon next time!

If you didn't know already, I'm adding a Yu-Yu-Hakusho crossover into this story and expect the characters of Yusuke, Kurama, Komena, all forms, Botan, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Yukina as well as Keiko to be in this story along with Kagome and Inuyasha. Plus, I would like to thank and credit beforehand to inu-yusukekaiba102 for the idea of his OC character, Hikari `Kari' Urameshi, Yusuke's older twin sister, from his stories like `The New Yusuke Urameshi', `The Demon', and `Darkness Powers Unleashed', her `stats', her powers, her dueling deck, and her back-story as well as all of the ideas for this version of her in my story. Also, I would like to give credit and thanks to this author and the mentioned stories for the idea of Keiko Yukimura's, Yusuke's, and Kagome's dueling decks, Yusuke's `Dark Form', and any and all other ideas that I didn't mention in this commentary. This author has been a great help, I'm a fan of his work, and if you are a Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, Inuyasha, and/or Naruto fan, I greatly recommend reading these stories on fanfiction(dot)net. Anyway, before I go, I would like to remind everyone that starting in Chapter 3 that there is going to be a lot of major OOC, Out of Character, going on, especially with our heroes and heroines that `Turn to the Darkness', including Serena, Jaden, Yusuke, Hikari, and others.
