Well, I'm back with the newest chapter of my Sailor Moon and Yu-Gi-Oh, R and GX, crossover and I've got to say that I'm liking where it is going in the `type' of popularity that it is getting. Beforehand, I would like to thank all of you that reviewed my story, so far. And I might be repeating myself over and over again, but it is YOU that keep stories like this going. Anyway, I would like to say the romances thus far are: Jaden/Alexis, Serena/Darien, Ami/Bastion, Rei/Aster, Mina/Atticus, and Lita/Tyranno Hassleberry. If you have any `ideas' for romances, just tell me and I will consider them. Anyway, I would like to point out before I start this chapter is that Princess Serenity's brother, Prince Judai, doesn't have his own special jewel . . . that's similar to the Imperium Silver Crystal, at least. The Imperium Silver Crystal, in this story, can be used by both male and female members of the Moon Kingdom royal family, but it is bonded to both genders in the family, so, you can get where I'm getting. However, Prince Judai has some special powers and `items' of his own that Princess Serenity doesn't, but I'm not going to say what these powers or `items' are. Now, it is time to start the show! Disclaimer: I DON'T own Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh R, Yu-Gi-OH GX, any of the characters, or anything/anyone that comes from other stories that end up in this fanfiction! Warning: This chapter has intense violence, blood, mild to explicit bad language, mild to explicit suggestive themes, like scary and monster images, and possible X-rated adult themes/situations!

Chapter 3: Awakenings and Rebirths

 

(A few days after Atem's revival; Late one night at Duel Academy)

 

Inside of the `White Dorm' in Duel Academy island, we find none other than Alexis Rhodes looking outside of her window in the `White Dorm' in the direction of the Slifer Red dorm. Ever since her dream some days ago, Alexis isn't able to get much sleep and for the past two nights, she can't help herself, but to look towards the Slifer Red dorm where Jaden Yuki still resides.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “What's wrong with me?! I shouldn't be this way! Chazz showed me the path to the light and I joined the Society of Light of my own free will! And since Jaden isn't a part of us, he is against us!” However, doubt comes into Alexis' mind and she thinks, “Isn't he? I'm not sure of anything anymore! Whenever I think of Jaden, I get this dull ache in my heart.” Alexis shakes her head and says, in a serious tone, “Just my desire to defeat him, that's all.” But then a tear falls down Alexis' right eye and cheek, she wipes the tear away, and says, surprised, “I'm crying? Why would I be crying? Why am I being this way? Now, I'm not sure of anything. However, a good night's sleep should clear my mind.” Alexis then goes into her bed, claps her hands to turn off the automatic lights in her room, and goes to sleep for the night, but two more tears fall from her eyes.

 

(Late the next morning; Inside one of the classrooms within Duel Academy)

 

During the late morning hours, we find Yugi and Atem sitting in front of two podiums in one of the classrooms in Duel Academy. After Atem was revived, our heroes and heroines managed to get him into Duel Academy as `Atem Moto', a cousin of Yugi Moto's that looks exactly like our King of Games, and the board was so impressed with him and his skills and leadership abilities that they made him a `co-teacher' with our King of Games in his class. The school board and Doctor Crowler hoped that Atem would `bring the students in line', which means the `White Dorm' students, and make them respect school authority. However, Atem and Yugi along with the rest of our heroes and heroines knew better and they knew it was going to take a lot more than Atem's leadership skills as an ex-Pharaoh to return the brainwashed students under Sartorius' control back to normal. Today, we find Atem and Yugi, both of them wearing purple Duel Academy blazers, to indicate that they were teachers not assigned to any dorm, teaching a class of Red, Yellow, and White students.

 

Yugi tells the class, “All right, class, based on what cohort has just taught you, how would you deal with a chain of your Negate Attack trap card with a Seven Tools of the Bandit if you don't have another trap card in play?”

 

A group of Red, White, and Yellow student raises their hands, Atem points to a Red student, and replies, “Yes, your answer?”

 

The Red student tells Atem and Yugi, “You would use the Trap Booster card in your hand.”

 

Yugi asks the Red Student, “Why?”

 

The Red student replies, “Since it is a quick-play spell card, you can use nearly any time during your opponent's or your turn, even during battle phases. And since Trap Booster allows you to play any trap card in your hand after you discard one card, you discard your Fusion Gate spell card in order to activate your Mirror Force trap card. Even through your Negate Attack will still be negated by Seven Tools of the Bandit, Mirror Force will still destroy all of your opponent's monsters, leaving you a position for a direct attack on his life-points.”

 

Atem tells the Red Student, “Very good. You may sit down.”

 

The Red student tells Atem, “Thank you, Mr. Moto.”

 

When the student sits down, Atem whispers to Yugi, “It seems like they are very nervous and want to impress you. They look up to you.”

 

Yugi tells Atem, in a same whisper, “And to you, too. Remember if it wasn't for your help and guidance, I wouldn't be the duelist that I am today.” Soon after, Yugi and Atem continue their lesson with their new class and they are marveled and impressed at the next generation of duelists to be.

 

(Sometime during the lunch hour; Just outside of the campus buildings)

 

Around the middle of the lunch hour at Duel Academy, we find none other than Rei Hino, in her female Ra Yellow uniform, running down from the Ra Yellow dorms towards the Slifer Red dorms. She had just finished her lunch prepared by the chef of the Ra Yellow dorms, who is also the supervisor of the Ra Yellow dorms, and she is running towards the Slifer Red dorms with some food for Luna and Atriums. Plus, since she and the other Inner Sailor Senshi only have `study hall' immediately after lunch along with Jaden, Syrus, Blair, Bastion, and Tyranno, they decided to have another meeting to plan their next move against Sartorius and the Society of Light.

 

Rei says, with a smile on her face, “Wow. This supervisor of the Ra Yellow dorms really knows how to make a mean meal. He even filled up Serena's large stomach quite quick and that's a miracle in itself. But then again, our dorm's supervisor was quite surprised at how much Serena eats. The only one that I know that eats as much as Serena is Jaden Yuki himself and boy, what a huge amount of food that guy can eat. In fact, Jaden and Serena seem so much alike . . . like they were related or something.” Rei thinks about this and says, wondering, “Trista did say that Serena did have a twin sibling, a brother, back during the Silver Millennium . . .” However, Rei bumps into something or someone, knocking her to the ground, and making her nearly drop the two bags of food that she had for Luna and Atriums. Rei exclaims, rubbing her sore bottom, “Hey! Watch where you are going, pal!” However, when Rei looks up, she sees a male student clad in white looking at her and she thinks in her mind, “Oh, great! Another of Sartorius' brainwashed goons!”

 

The male white student asks Rei, “Are you Rei Hino?”

 

Rei replies, in her usual nasty tone, “Who wants to know?”

 

The male white student replies, as two more white clad students come out of the bushes, “My name is Hosni and you are to come with me for a visit to Master Sartorius.”

 

Rei gets to her feet and replies, “And if I refuse this `offer'?”

 

Hosni tells Rei, “That wasn't a request, Ms. Hino.” The two white students then approach Rei and she moves back a few feet.

 

Rei thinks in her mind, “Oh, great! And I can't just transform around here just like that! I'm doing martial arts, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to take on multiple opponents instead one without my friends!”

 

But before any kind of fight could start, a male voice calls out, “Hold it!” When everyone looks to the source of the voice, they see none other than Aster Phoenix, with his duel disk attached to his left wrist and dueling deck inside, walking towards all of them.

 

Rei thinks, shocked, “Hey, that's Aster Phoenix, one of best duelists in the world other than Yugi Moto, Seto Kaiba, and Yugi's friends! Jaden told me that he was once managed by Sartorius, but based on what Jaden told me, after Aster learned what Sartorius was really up to, Aster dropped Sartorius as his manager. I heard that he was hanging around Duel Academy for some reason, but what's he doing here?!”

 

Hosni tells Aster, in a nasty tone, “What do you want, Phoenix? You aren't a part of us, you know?!”

 

Aster tells Hosni, in a serious tone, “And I don't appreciate bullies picking on a young lady. You, Society of Light, are just thugs that think that they are above this school and the law! Now, I'm going to teach you a lesson!” Aster then activates his duel disk and it displays 4000 life-points.

 

Hosni attaches a duel disk to his left wrist, puts a dueling deck inside, and says, activating it, “Fine! It's time to show you the light, Aster Phoenix!”

 

“Game on!” the two duelists exclaim as they draw their first five cards.

Hosni: 4000

Aster: 4000

 

(Classic Yu-Gi-Oh GX dueling music starting)

 

Hosni draws one card from his deck and says, “I will start this duel off!” Hosni puts one card in the spell/trap slot of his duel disk and exclaims, “First, I play my Fiend's Sanctuary spell card! This card allows me to summon one Metal Fiend Token to the field!” Soon after, one Metal Fiend Token (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode. Hosni then shouts out, “Next, I sacrifice my Token to play this! My Flame Cerberus!” Soon after, Metal Fiend Token leaves the field as Hosni puts one card on his duel and Flame Cerberus (2100/1800) appears on the field in attack mode. Hosni tells Aster, “That will be enough for now!”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “Is that all? Please!” Aster looks at his hand and thinks in his mind, “I won't need my Destiny Heroes to beat this punk, but I've got to give Sartorius a message that destiny isn't on his side!” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots of his duel disk and shouts out, “Now, I play Polymerization! And I fuse my Elemental Hero Avian and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix to form . . .!!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex as Aster discards the two cards to the graveyard, takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and exclaims, “. . . The one and only Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer (2100/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster asks Hosni, in his usual sarcastic tone, “You like him? Well, then you will like his attack!” Aster points towards Flame Cerberus and exclaims, “Phoenix Claw!” Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer rushes towards Flame Cerberus.

 

Rei thinks in her mind, shocked, “What's he trying to do? They have the same attack points!” However, Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer blasts through the counter-attack that Flame Cerberus made and slices him with the claw on its right wrist, destroying it.

 

Aster tells Hosni, with a sly grin and nasty sarcastic tone, “Oops. Guess I forgot to mention his ability. He can't be destroyed in battle.” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, sarcastically, “Well, I'll place this face-down and give you a break.”

 

Hosni draws one card from his deck and says, angrily, “You will pay for that Phoenix!” Hosni discards one card from his hand and says, “I'm activating my Thunder Dragon's special effect by discarding him to my graveyard! Now, I can draw two more Thunder Dragon from my deck!” Hosni goes through his deck, takes two cards from his deck, re-shuffling his deck, putting it back in his duel disk, and then says, while putting a card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play the same card that you just played! Polymerization! Now, I fuse my two Thunder Dragons together!” Images of two Thunder Dragons (1600/1500) appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex while Hosni discards the two cards to the graveyard, takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and exclaims, “Time to meet my Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon (2800/2100) appears on the field in attack mode. Hosni calls out, “That Phoenix Enforcer might be invincible, but you are! Twin Lightning Blast!” Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon blasts Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer and through it is safe thanks to its special ability, Aster still loses 700 life-points.

 

Aster dusts himself off and states, not impressed, “Is that all?”

 

Hosni puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “This face-down will end my turn!”

Hosni: 4000

Aster: 3300

 

Aster draws one card from his deck, puts it into his spell/trap slots, and says, “It's time for Pot of Greed! You know the drill, I draw two cards from my deck and put them into my hand!” Aster draws two more cards from his deck into his hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, with his usual sarcastic tone, “Well, this is a card that we haven't seen in a while! Polymerization!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600/1400) appears on the field, goes into a fusion vortex with Phoenix Enforcer as they are sent into the graveyard, Aster takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and declares, in his sarcastic tone, “I'll take one part Phoenix Enforcer and add a pinch of Sparkman and out comes . . . Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer (2500/2100) appears on the field in attack mode. Aster then says, “And for every Elemental Hero in the grave, Shining Phoenix Enforcer gains three hundred attack points!” Shining Phoenix Enforcer's stats rise from 2500/2100 to 3700/2100 since there are four Elemental Hero monster cards in the graveyard. Aster then shouts out, “Now, show them how you got your name! Shining Enforcement!” Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer rushes in to attack Twin-Headed Dragon.

 

Hosni shouts out, “Not so fast! I play my trap! White Power Infusion!” Hosni's face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with the picture of a monster being infused with white light from another monster.

 

Aster asks, a bit perplexed with a serious look on his face, “What is that?”

 

Hosni tells Aster, with a sly grin, “This card allows me to increase the power of my monster for this turn by the attack points of one monster that I discard!” Hosni then displays a Proto Cyber Dragon (1100/1600) monster card, discards it to the graveyard, and says, “I will discard this card to increase my monster's attack points!” Twin-Headed Dragon's stats increase from 2800/2100 to 3900/2100!

 

Aster tells Hosni, “Oh, please! Do you think that scares me? Destruction of Destiny!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the Destruction of Destiny trap card and Aster says, “This card allows me to send the three top cards in my deck to the grave, but if I have any spell or trap cards with those three cards, I lose 1000 life-points per card! Now, for the moment of truth!” Aster takes the top three cards from his deck, displays them to be Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600), Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800), and Elemental Hero Clayman (800/2000), and says, sarcastically as he discards them, “Oh, well, no traps or spells here! By the way, did you forget about my Shining Phoenix Enforcer and his ability to gain three hundred attack points for every Elemental Hero in my grave?” Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer's stats increase from 3700/2100 to 4600/2100, thanks to the three new Elemental Hero monsters in Aster's graveyard. Soon after, Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer slices through Hosni's Twin-Headed Dragon, destroying it, and taking 700 of his life-points with it. Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and tells Hosni, with a sly smile and confident tone, “I'll place this face-down and end my turn!”

Hosni draws one card from his deck and says, angrily, “Don't think that you've won, Aster?! You don't have the power of destiny on your side anymore!”

 

Aster tells Hosni, in a serious tone, “No, as long as you remain with that rat Sartorius, then you are the one who doesn't have destiny on his side!”

 

Hosni tells Aster, “Maybe this card will convince you! Reveal Lightning Vortex!” Hosni's face-down card is revealed to be the Lightning Vortex spell card and he says, “As long as I discard one card from my hand, I can destroy all monsters on your field!” Hosni discards his Kaiser Glider (2400/2000) monster card and Aster's Elemental Hero Shining Phoenix Enforcer is gone from a huge lightning bolt!

 

Aster tells Hosni, with a sly smile, “Thank you. You've allowed me to activate my D-Time trap card!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the D-Time trap card and Aster says, “Since you've taken out my Shining Phoenix Enforcer, I can use this to bring my true heroes to my hand! My Destiny Heroes!” A card comes out of Aster's deck and Aster takes it into his hand, revealing it to be Destiny Hero Doom Lord (600/800).

 

Rei asks in her mind, perplexed, “Destiny Heroes? What in the heck are Destiny Heroes?”

 

Hosni exclaims, angrily, “Doesn't matter to me, Aster Phoenix! Those monsters come to your hand and not the field!” Hosni puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “Now, I play my own Pot of Greed and draw two cards from my deck!” Hosni draws two more cards from his deck, puts them into his hand, and states, putting a card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Kaiser Sea Horse!” Soon after, Kaiser Sea Horse (1750/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Hosni commands, “Attack him directly!” Kaiser Sea Horse moves in and slashes Aster with his lance, causing him to yell out as he loses 1750 of his life-points. Hosni puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with a sly grin and nasty tone, “I will put this face-down and give you a break!”

Aster draws one card from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and says, “Meet Destiny Hero Doom Lord!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Doom Lord (600/800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Rei thinks in her mind, “What is that?”

 

Aster tells Hosni, in a sarcastic tone, “Oh, did I mention his ability?” Aster then commands, “Doom Lord, send his monster packing with Impending Doom Claw!” Destiny Hero Doom Lord rushes in, puts his right claw hand on Kaiser Sea Horse, and says, with a sly grin on his lips, “See you in the future.” Soon after, Kaiser Sea Horse vanishes from the field as it is temporary removed from the game. Aster tells Hosni, “Once per turn, my Doom Lord can send one of your monsters two turns into the future, but don't worry, he will be back.” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn with one face-down and that will be all from me.”

 

Hosni draws one card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, and exclaims, “My turn! Now, I summon another Proto Cyber Dragon in attack mode!” Another Proto Cyber Dragon (1100/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Hosni then declares, “Destroy Doom Lord!” Proto Cyber Dragon fires a blast that destroys Doom Lord and takes 500 of Aster's life-points with it.

 

Aster calls out, “No biggie! I can play this! Destiny Signal!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the Destiny Signal trap card and Aster says, “When one of my monsters is destroyed, I can use this to summon a Destiny Hero!” Aster takes one card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, and exclaims, “Meet Captain Tenacious!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Captain Tenacious (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode. Aster then exclaims, “Now, it is time for the captain to show his hidden talent! Hit it!” Just then a large metal gear with a letter `D' in the center appears beside Captain Tenacious and spins around.

 

Hosni states, confused, “What is that?”

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, in his usual tone, “Oh, you will find out! Captain, show them your stuff!” Just then a bright light comes from the spinning gear and Destiny Hero-Doom Lord (600/800) comes back to the field in attack mode. Aster then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “Next, it is time for my Card of Demise! Thanks to this card, I get to draw from my deck until I have five cards in my hands, but this card does come with a price. I have to discard my entire hand on the fifth turn that I use this card. But I can assure that this duel will be way over before then.” Aster then says, as he puts one card on his duel disk, “What to do next? Oh, I know! Another Destiny Hero! Meet Diamond Dude!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then says, “And like his friends, my Diamond Dude has a hidden talent. Namely, a card trick. I turn over my top card, if it is a Normal Spell card, it goes to my graveyard and activates during my next turn. If it isn't a Normal Spell card, it goes to the bottom of my deck. Now, it is time for the moment of truth.” Aster turns over his top card, gives a sly grin, shows it to his opponent as the Misfortune spell card, and says, “Well, if it isn't my Misfortune spell card. Or should I say, your Misfortune, that is.” Aster discards the card to his graveyard and says, “Now, it is time for an attack! Diamond Dude, show your stuff!” Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude attacks Proto Cyber Dragon, destroys it, taking 300 of Hosni's life-points. Aster then calls out, “Now, Captain, move in for a direct attack!” Destiny Hero-Captain Tenacious moves in for a direct attack and taking 800 more of Hosni's life-points. Aster puts two cards in the spell/trap slots, “Well, I throw these face-down and call it a turn.”

Hosni: 2200

Aster: 1050

 

Hosni draws one card from his deck, puts it on his duel disk, and exclaims, “Now, I summon Big Shield Gardna in defense mode!” Soon after, Big Shield Gardna (100/2600) appears on the field in defense mode. Hosni tells Aster, with a sly grin, “Now, you can't get to my life-points without taking out the rest of yours! And when you are able, it will be too late!”

 

Aster tells Hosni, as he draws one card from his deck, “It is already too late . . . for you. Now, since two turns have pasted, your Kaiser Sea Horse returns to the field!” Soon after, Kaiser Sea Horse (1750/1600) returns to Hosni's field in attack mode. Aster then says, “Next, the card that I sent to my graveyard activates. Misfortune. Now, half of Kaiser Sea Horse's attack points will be deducted from your life-points.” Just then a green field appears around Aster and his monsters, a beam of energy comes out of Kaiser Sea Horse, bounces off the field, and slams into Hosni, taking 875 of his life-points.

 

Hosni roars out, angrily, “How dare you?! Destiny is on my side!”

 

Aster tells Hosni, in a serious tone, “Wrong, dude! You sealed your own destiny when you took sides with Sartorius! Now, it is time to pay the price!” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand! Now, pay attention `class'!” Aster draws three cards from his deck, discards two to his graveyard, opens his Field spell card slot, and exclaims, “Now, I play my Field Spell! Mausoleum of the Emperor!” Just then the whole field transforms into a huge open-topped stone mausoleum that had Chinese warrior statues filling a fog-filled basement. Aster tells Hosni, “Now, both of us can use this Field Spell to summon monsters! By sacrificing 1000 of our life-points, we can summon two Imperial Tomb Tokens to our field and sacrifice them to summon high-powered monsters! So, I give up 1000 life-points to summon two Tokens and then sacrifice them!” Two Imperial Tomb Tokens appear on Aster's side of the field, his life-points drop by 1000, and those two tokens are sacrificed as Aster puts a card on his duel disk. Aster then calls out, “Now, meet your fate, punk! Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster (?/?) appears on the field and slams into the ground behind Aster and the other three Destiny Heroes.

 

Rei thinks in her mind when she sees Aster's Destiny Hero Dreadmaster, “Whoa! He's huge! I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alleyway!”

 

Aster then states, in a serious tone, “Now, that the master of dread is here. I can summon up to two Destiny Heroes from my grave! However, since I have only one monster slot, I can only summon this! My Destiny Hero-Dasher!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Dasher (2100/1000) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Hosni states, perplexed, “Hey, I didn't send that monster to your grave!”

 

Aster says, with a sly smirk, “Did you forget about the two cards that I discarded with my Graceful Charity? Now, as I was saying, Dreadmaster's attack and defense points are the sum of Dasher's, Doom Lord's, Captain Tenacious', and Diamond Dude's attack points!” Dreadmaster's stats rise up from 0/0 all the way up to 4900/4900!

 

Hosni exclaims, shocked, “Nearly five thousand attack points?!”

 

Aster shouts out, seriously, “You got that right! Now, Dreadmaster, show them how you got your name! Destroy Kaiser Sea Horse with Dread Fist!” Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster leaps high into the air and brings his fist right down on Kaiser Sea Horse, destroying it, and taking 3150 of his life-points with it, ending the duel immediately.

After the duel is over, the final holograms fade away as Hosni faints towards the ground and the other two white students run away as fast as their feet can carry them. Meanwhile, Aster goes over to Rei, who has managed to get to his feet.

 

Aster asks Rei, in a plain tone, “You okay?”

 

Rei tells Aster, “I'm fine. But aren't you, Aster Phoenix? The expert Pro-League Duelist? What are you doing here in Duel Academy?”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a plain tone, “I should be asking you the same thing. Aren't you Rei Hino, daughter of the famous Japanese Statesman, Onirko Hino?”

 

Rei says, angrily, “Don't compare me to that asshole.”

 

Aster says, nodding his head, “Ah, I see that the rumors are true.”

 

Rei asks Aster, curiously, “What rumors?”

 

Aster tells Rei, “I heard rumors that after your mother died that your father just abandoned you at your grandfather's Shinto shrine while he went ahead with his political career. I've also heard a lot more things about you.”

 

Rei asks Aster, “Let me guess: Silly `shrine maiden' rumors?”

 

Aster replies, in a plain tone, “If you want to call them that, but yes, I did hear rumors like that. However, I do wonder what a girl like you is doing here on Duel Academy? I heard about you when you transferred in, but I don't think that you just came here to become a famous duelist.”

 

Rei retorts, in a plain tone, “What makes you think that I don't want to become a great duelist?”

 

Aster looks at the unconscious white student, Hosni, that he had just beaten and says, “Call it a hunch, but let's just say that Sartorius would only be interested in you for a good reason and I don't think being the daughter of a statesman is one of them.”

 

Rei replies, in a defensive and sarcastic manner, “And why should I trust you? I mean that Sartorius character is your manager.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “Was my manager . . . until I figured out that he had been using me for his own twisted schemes.”

 

Rei already knew what Aster meant, but she decided to `play dumb' and replies, “What kind of `schemes'?”

 

Aster retorts, sarcastically, “Ha! I doubt that you would be able to understand Sartorius' plans even if I knew!”

 

Rei tells Aster, nastily, “Oh, yeah, wiseass! Personally, I think that I doubt you would understand them even if you knew!”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a serious tone, “Oh, and you do know about them?!”

 

Rei replies, with a sly grin across her lips, “Well, being a shrine maiden does have its advantages.”

 

Aster asks Rei, in a sarcastic tone, “Well, enlighten me then.”

 

Rei tells Aster, in a nasty tone, “Why should I tell you? For all I know, you are still working for Sartorius and this is some kind of `act'!”

 

Aster roars out, angrily, “You take that back! I would never work for that lying snake after he used me! Including trying to brainwash people!”

 

Rei was taken a bit back by Aster's anger and replies, “Fine! I'm sorry.”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a serious tone, “Good. So, why are you here?”

 

Rei replies, in a plain tone, “If you need to know, Sartorius brainwashed one of my friends and I'm here to save her.”

 

Aster says, simply, “Oh, you, too, huh? Well, if you don't be careful, you are going to end up like your friend. Under Sartorius' brainwashing control. So, take my advice and stay out of this.”

 

Rei tells Aster, “I won't be brainwashed since I'm good friends with Jaden Yuki.” Aster's eyebrows `perk up' the instant that she said that and Rei says, with a sly grin on her lips, “I see that you know him.”

 

Aster replies, in a plain tone, “Just an acquaintance that I know. Jaden is the best chance for me to find out what Sartorius is up to and what he knows about my father.”

 

Rei's eyes widen at this and she asks, “Why would Sartorius know anything about your father?”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a plain tone, “This is a personal matter. None of your business.”

 

Rei tells Aster, in a serious tone, “If this involves Sartorius, then I'm making it my business! And if you don't tell, I will ring it out of you! One of my friends is in danger and I'm not going to let anyone, even a pro-duelist, keep me for doing that.” Aster looks into Rei's eyes, sees the fire and determination in them, and gives his usual sly smile.

 

Aster shrugs his shoulders and states, simply, “Okay, why not?” Aster then explains what happened in the tag duel between Jaden and Aster against Sartorius' sister in the virtual world of Kaibaland theme park.

 

When Aster was done, Rei asks, plainly, “So, the guy that took your dad's final card came to Sartorius one night, gave him the card, and after that Sartorius became possessed by an evil power?”

 

Aster replies, in a plain tone, “That's what Sartorius' sister told me. Now, I know that Sartorius holds the key to finding the person that took that card and took my father away from me. I swore that when I find that wiseass that took my father away that he will pay. It is why I duel: To bring justice to the world by taking those who think that they are above the law.”

 

Rei says, amazed, “Wow, Aster. That's pretty amazing.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “Whatever. Now, I've got to get going.”

 

Rei tells Aster, “Hey, Aster, what if I told that there was someone that can help you?”

 

Aster asks Rei, “What do you mean?”

 

Rei thinks in her mind, “What am I doing? I shouldn't be telling him anything about why I'm here, much less about my friends and the others. However, I just can't help to feel amazed and sorry for him. Aster lost his father when he was young, from what I learned, and now, I know how and why he lost his father. However, he decided to fight back, stop evil people from hurting the innocent, and try to give his father justice. However, I shouldn't reveal any secrets, but I just feel compelled to help him.” Rei tells Aster, “Hey, Aster, did you hear of the Sailor Senshi?”

 

Aster replies, simply, “You mean those girls in those weird skimpy sailor outfits in Juuban?”

 

Rei thinks, insulted, “Weird?! Did he just call me and my friends weirdoes?!”

 

Aster states, in a plain and serious tone, “Yeah, I heard of them. At first, I thought that they were just rumors or myths, but when there were more sightings of them and reports of them helping out innocent people against thugs like this one, I've got to say that there must be some `substance' to them. I think their choice in outfits is just plain weird, but I kind of admire them.”

 

Rei asks Aster, surprised, “You do?”

 

Aster says, in a serious tone, “Why wouldn't I? They are doing the exact same thing that I chose to do. Give innocent people justice and peace from thugs that prey on the innocent because they think that they are above the law. Those girls are teaching them a lesson that no one is above the law and giving those people `hurt' by these thugs what they really need: Justice.” Aster gives a small version of his usual smile, “Hey, even I got to admit, I would like to meet one of those gals.” Rei got a major feeling in heart that was trying to compel her to take her henshin wand out and tell Aster who she is, but she resists with every part of her being, knowing that she can't do that without possibly endangering him with her secret. Aster asks Rei, “Why did you ask me about them?”

 

Rei tells Aster, her tone sounding unusually nervously, “I've heard rumors that they've been seen around here at Duel Academy.”

 

Aster notices Rei's nervous tone and says, in a serious tone, “You're not telling me the whole truth, are you?”

 

Rei asks, trying to sound very insulted, “What do you mean by that?”

 

Aster tells Rei, “I know exactly what you are keeping from me.”

 

Rei asks Aster, a bit nervously, “What do you mean?”

 

Aster tells Rei, “You are in contact with these Sailor Senshi are.”

 

Rei, trying to come up with an excuse, replies, “All right, I admit it. I am in contact with them. Only one of them, actually, my favorite Sailor Senshi, Sailor Mars, in fact. When those girls found out about what happened to my friend, they investigated Sartorius and told my friends and me that he was a danger to the world, but they didn't know what he's up to. They need our help to find out about that creepy jerk and we decided to help since we came to Duel Academy to save our friend. But we are only kept in contact with our favorite Sailor Senshi that we like personally. I'm a fan of Sailor Mars, so, she and I keep in contact.”

 

Aster looks away in the direction of the `White Dorm' and thinks, “If Sartorius is attracting the attention of actual super-heroes, then there must be more to him that I originally thought! I thought Sartorius had become some kind of madman trying to take over the world, but if real super-heroes are taking notice of him then he is truly has become a real danger like Mizuchi said.” Aster tells Rei, with a slight smile, “If you see any signs of those girls, tell them that I wish to talk to them. I might have some information that they would like to use.”

 

Rei nods her head and says, “Sure. And thanks a lot for the help.”

 

Aster replies, with his usual smile, “No biggie.” Aster then says, in a serious tone, “However, take my advice and stay away from Sartorius at all costs or you will end up like your friend and two of Jaden Yuki's friends. He is very dangerous and you could end up one of his pawns, miko or not. Later!” Aster then takes off to continue his `roam' around Duel Academy as he continues to figure out a way to stop his former manage and friend. Rei, on the meanwhile, takes off to bring the food from the Ra Yellow dorms in the two bags to Luna and Atriums, who are staying in the Slifer Red dorms to keep an `eye' on our Chosen Duelist, Jaden Yuki, to ensure his protection from Sartorius.

 

(Later that afternoon; returning to the inside of the `White Dorm')

 

Inside of Sartorius' room within the `White Dorm', we find the evil leader of the Society of Light sitting in front of his table and shuffling around his Tarot cards, trying to get another `reading' on what the future holds. After what happened with the duel between Serena, who he knows is Sailor Moon, and Blair, as well as figuring out the identities of the other Sailor Senshi, Sartorius knows that his plans and his `destiny' are linked to Sailor Moon/Serena, Aster Phoenix, Jaden Yuki, and Tyranno Hassleberry, who are represented by The Moon, The Prince, The Fool, and The Strength Tarot cards. Sartorius has been keeping `an eye' on the four of them ever since Serena's duel with Blair and he wonders how they are vital to his plans.

 

Sartorius says to himself, “So far, the cards have told that four people are vital to my plans. Jaden Yuki, the first chosen duelist represented by The Fool, Aster Phoenix, the second chosen duelist represented by The Prince, Mr. Hassleberry, represented by The Strength, and Serena Tsukino, the famous Sailor Moon of Juuban, represented by The Moon, and seemly, a third chosen duelist that seems to have a `connection' with Jaden Yuki. Plus, anyone connected to them also have a part in my destiny, The Knight, which represents the Sailor Senshi, the guardians of Sailor Moon, and The Lovers, which represents Ms. Flannigan, since they have a connected to these four. But how do the pieces fall together?” Just then three cards fall from Sartorius' Tarot card deck with one landing on the upside down position and the other two in the upright position. Sartorius flips these cards up and finds The Reaper of Souls Tarot to be upside down with The Knight and The Prince Tarot cards in the upright position. Sartorius says, with a serious and interested look, “The cards warn me of a rebirth. It seems like a person shall be `reborn' and join the Sailor Senshi as well as one of the Sailor Senshi undergoing a rebirth of her own. Plus, this Sailor Senshi is going to establish some kind of `connection' with Aster.” Sartorius says, with a wide evil grin, “This shall prove very interesting indeed.”

 

(In the afternoon hours shortly after class; some distance from the `White Dorm')

 

Shortly after class ended in Duel Academy, we find two female figures walking down the pre-dusk hours towards the `White Dorm' and we find that those female figures are none other than Jasmine and Mindy.

 

Mindy tells Jasmine, worriedly, “Jasmine, don't you think the girls were giving us a good idea when they said to abandon the `White Dorm' until all of this is over!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, “I know, Mindy, but I can't just leave with Alexis still with them!”

 

Mindy tells Jasmine, “I don't want to either, but this Sartorius guy has control over her mind! She won't listen to us! She will only listen to him, now!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, nodding her head in agreement, “I know that Mindy! But I've got to try one more time! Alexis is my best friend and I don't think I would forgive myself if I didn't try to bring her back!”

 

Mindy tells Jasmine, “Well, Alexis wouldn't forgive herself knowing she brainwashed you!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, “If this doesn't work, we will just take Atticus and get the hell out of there like Alexis did when Crowler tried `bump her' as a dueling pop star.”

 

Mindy nods her head and says, “He is so cute and it would be awful that he would be wearing those white uniforms . . . through he would make it look good.”

 

Jasmine gives a large sigh and exclaims, “Oh, brother.” However, the two of them are stopped when they see a 16 year old female student with dark blue wavy hair going down to the end of her back behind her back and light brown eyes, wearing the white uniform, and has a duel disk with a dueling deck inside attached to her left arm waiting for them.

 

Mindy asks, a bit nastily, “What do you want Ashley?”

 

The girl, Ashley, replies, in a cold and emotionless tone, “We are fed up of you staying in our dorm and showing off those uniforms of yours.”

 

Jasmine exclaims, in a serious tone, “We're Obelisk Blues and we tend to stay that way!”

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, in a cold tone, “Obelisk Blue, Slifer Red, and Ra Yellow don't matter anymore. Individually is forbidden in our dorm and you haven't seen the light.”

 

Jasmine replies, sarcastically, “What if we don't want to?”

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, in a cold and plain tone, “You don't have a choice in the matter!” Ashley snaps her fingers and two male white students leap out of the bushes, grabbing Mindy from behind and grabbing her arms.

 

Mindy exclaims, shocked, “Jasmine, help!”

 

Jasmine looks back at Mindy, saw her in trouble, and exclaims at the two boys, “Hey, let her go!”

 

One of the male white students reply, “Not until both of you see the light.”

 

Jasmine looks at Ashley and tells her, in a pleading tone, “Ashley, stop this! This isn't you! You are being controlled!”

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, with a cold smile on her lips, “I should have known that you say that. You are in the dark, but don't worry, you and Mindy will be with us, soon enough.” Ashley takes a duel disk lying on the ground, throws it to Jasmine, and tells her, in a cold tone, “I will release her on one condition: You duel against me. I win: Both of you join us in the Society of Light. You win: We let both of you go without a say. You refuse: And Mindy shall be taken back to Master Sartorius to `see the light'.”

 

Mindy exclaims, worriedly, “Don't do it, Jasmine! If you lose, you will end up like Alexis!”

 

Jasmine thinks in her mind, “And if I don't, Mindy will end up like Alexis and Ashley, here! I don't have a choice!” Jasmine puts the duel disk on her left wrist, inserts a duel deck inside, and she tells her, “You've got a duel, Ashley! I don't have a choice!”

 

Ashley and Jasmine activate their duel disk, their duel disk display 4000 life-points apiece, and Ashley says, in a cold tone, “That's right, Jasmine. No one of us really have a choice. We are just pawns in the arms of destiny.”

 

Jasmine exclaims, annoyed, “Oh, shut up with that crap! Just duel!”

 

Ashley replies, with an evil grin, “As you wish, Jasmine.” Both duelists then draw five cards from their respective decks into their hands.

 

“Duel!” both duelist exclaim in unison.

Jasmine draws one card from her deck, looks at her hand, and says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I'll start things off with Graceful Charity! This card allows me to draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Jasmine draws three cards from her deck, discards two from her hand to the graveyard, and says, placing one card on the duel disk, “Next, I will play one monster face-down!” Just then a image of a face-down monster card appears on Jasmine's side of the field, Jasmine puts two cards in the spell/trap slots of her duel disk, and exclaims, “Finally, I end with these cards face-down!”

 

Ashley draws one card from her deck and says, with an evil smile, “My move.” Ashley looks at her hand, puts one card on her duel disk, and states, “First, I play my Spear Dragon in attack mode!” Soon after, Spear Dragon (1900/0) appears on the field in attack mode. Ashley then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “Next, I play my Heavy Storm! This spell card destroys all over spell and trap cards out on the fight!”

Jasmine exclaims, shocked, “Oh no!” Soon after, a huge storm destroys her two face-down cards, Hollowed Life Barrier and Waboku, which were both trap cards.

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, “I won't fall into your trap, Jasmine.” Ashley then shouts out, “Now, attack her face-down!” Spear Dragon launches an attack on the face-down monster of Jasmine's, which proves to be Magician of Faith (300/400), and is instantly destroyed by Spear Dragon in a large explosion. Ashley then shouts out, “Now, thanks to Spear Dragon's special ability, you lose life-points to your destroyed monster's defense points.” Jasmine screams out as a beam of green energy slams into her causing her life-points to be lowered by 1500 points.

 

Mindy shouts out, horrified, “Jasmine!”

 

Jasmine says, in a serious tone, “Well, my monster wasn't destroyed without helping me! Thanks to this card, I get one spell card back from my grave!” Jasmine then takes one card from her graveyard pile and says, displaying that card to be a Machine Angel Ritual spell card, “And I choose my Machine Angel Ritual!”

 

Mindy asks, perplexed, “When did you put that in your deck?”

 

Ashley says, in a plain tone, “It doesn't matter. Anyway, when Spear Dragon attacks, it must go into defense mode.” Spear Dragon switches from attack mode to defense mode and Ashley states, seriously, “And this is where I will end my turn.”

Jasmine draws one card from her deck and exclaims, in a serious tone, “Finally!” Jasmine looks at her card, puts it in the spell/trap slots, and exclaims, “Now, I play Pot of Greed! This allows me to draw two more cards!” Jasmine draws two more cards from her deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and shouts out, “Now, I play my Machine Angel Ritual! This card allows me to summon any Ritual monster with `Cyber Angel' in its name as long as sacrifice a monster or monsters with the right amount of star levels!” Jasmine displays two Cyber Tutu (1000/800), discards them to the graveyard, and states, while putting a card on her duel disk, “Now, I discard not one, but two Cyber Tutu to my graveyard to summon Cyber Angel Idaten in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Angel Idaten (1600/2000) appears on the field in attack mode! Jasmine then calls out, “Now, I activate her ability and bring one of the spell cards in my grave back to my hand!” Jasmine takes one card from her graveyard, puts it into the spell/trap slots, and exclaims, “And the card that I chose was my Ritual Weapon! It gives one Ritual Monster with six stars or less an additional fifteen hundred attack and defense points!” Cyber Angel Idaten's stats increase from 1600/2000 to 3100/3500! Jasmine roars out, strongly, “Now, attack!” Cyber Angel Idaten attacks Spear Dragon and destroys it, but since it was in defense mode, Ashley loses no life-points. Jasmine puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “That will end my turn!”

 

Ashley says, in a smug tone, “Is that all?” Ashley then draws one card from her deck, puts one card in her spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play my Trap Booster! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play one trap card from my hand!” Ashley discards one Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) from her hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and exclaims, “Now, I play my Coffin Seller! As long as this card remains on the field, you lose three hundred life-points for every monster sent to the graveyard!”

 

Jasmine says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Ashley then says, as she puts another card in the spell/trap slots, “Oh, you should be worried. Next, I play Mystical Space Typhoon! This spell card destroys one spell or trap card on your field! Say `bye bye' to Ritual Weapon!” Jasmine's Ritual Weapon spell is sent to the graveyard and Cyber Angel Idaten's stats are reduced back to 1600/2000! Ashley then the final card in her hand in the spell/trap slot and exclaims, “Finally, I play Monster Reborn! This card allows me to bring back the monster I sent to my graveyard thanks to Trap Booster! My Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” A bright light comes from Ashley's graveyard and Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Jasmine says, worriedly, “Oh, man! This isn't good!”

 

Ashley replies, coldly, “No joke, Jasmine.” Ashley then command, in a serious tone, “Red-Eyes, destroy her Idaten! Inferno Fire Blast!” Ashley's Red-Eyes launches a sphere of red heat energy from its mouth, destroying Idaten, and taking 800 of Jasmine's life-points with it. Ashley then calls out, “Now, thanks to Coffin Seller, you lose three hundred more of your life-points since you lost a monster to the graveyard!” Jasmine groans out as she loses 300 life-points, thanks to Coffin Seller.

 

Mindy exclaims, panicky, “Jasmine!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, a bit weakly, “Don't worry, I can handle this!” Jasmine calls out, “Now, I reveal my trap! Soul Rope!” Jasmine's face-down is revealed to be the Soul Rope trap card and Jasmine says, “Thanks to this card, all I've got to do is get rid of one thousand life-points and I can summon one level four or below monster from my deck to the field!” Jasmine then goes through her deck, takes out one card, put her deck back in her duel disk, and says, “And I chose my Magician Valkyria to come to the field! Defense mode!” Soon after, Magician Valkyria (1600/1800) is summoned to the field in defense mode as Jasmine's life-points drop by 1000.

 

Ashley says, coldly, “It is no use, Jasmine. You've lost. It is destiny.”

 

Jasmine roars out, angrily, “You can tell Sartorius to put his `destiny' right in his fat ass!” Jasmine's anger was starting to rise remember what happened to Alexis, her best friend in the whole world other than Mindy, and for a minute, Jasmine felt something deep inside just `perk up' at the pain of her friend being used by Sartorius.

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, coldly, “Your move.”

Jasmine draws one card from her deck, looks at it, and thinks in her mind, “This card will keep in the game, but I need to think of something fast because I can't just delaying and hope that I will draw a card that will increase my life-points since Ashley has got that Coffin Seller card out.” Jasmine puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “I place one card face-down and that will be it.”

 

Ashley draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed and draw two more cards from my deck!” Ashley draws two more cards from her deck, looks at them, and says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Premature Burial spell card! I lose 800 life-points in order to bring my Spear Dragon back from the graveyard!” Ashley's life-point drop by 800 as Spear Dragon (1900/0) returns to the field in attack mode. Ashley then calls out, “If you think that I'm falling for your Draining Shield trap, then you are wrong! I sacrifice my Red-Eyes Black Dragon and my Spear Dragon to summon this! My Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon!” Just then the two monster cards glow with bright light and explode as a huge dragon seemly made of whitish-blue ice and looks similar to Blue-Eyes White Dragon in shape comes to the field.

 

Jasmine calls out, shocked, “What in the world is that?!”

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, in a cold tone, “The ultimate card in my deck. Given to me by Master Sartorius for my `good works' in the name of destiny. My Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon!” This new monster, Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon, has stats of 3000/2500! Ashley then tells Jasmine, with a cold grin on her lips, “Plus, my dragon's special ability makes it unable to be targeted by the effects of your spell and trap cards and destroys them . . . including your Draining Shield!”

 

Jasmine exclaims, shocked, “Oh no! This can't be happening!”

 

Ashley calls out, in a serious tone, “It is the way of destiny, Jasmine! Now, my dragon, attack with White Ice Blast of Destruction!” The dragon fires a beam of freezing ice energy at Jasmine's monster and destroying it, taking 300 of her life-points away, thanks to the Coffin Seller trap card of Ashley. The blast was so powerful that Jasmine is knocked backwards and into a state of semi-consciousness.

 

Mindy calls out, horrified, “Jasmine, get up! Get up!”

Jasmine is lying down, in a semi-conscious state, and thinks in her mind, “I've failed! I wanted to bring Alexis back from Sartorius' mind-control and now, Mindy and I are going to suffer the same fate! I've only got one hundred life-points life and I'm facing a monster that can't be destroyed with spell or trap card effects that target a single monster! What am I going to do?!”

 

Just then a female voice sounding a lot like hers calls out in Jasmine's mind, “Is that it? Are you just going to roll over and become Sartorius' `lap dog'? Girl, I thought that you were better than this!”

 

Jasmine calls out, mentally, “Who are you?!”

 

The female voice replies, mentally, “You will know soon enough! What I'm here to say is that I'm disappointed in you girlfriend! You might be a `silly' sometimes, but you are always serious and never gave up before! Get up! You might have only one hundred life-points and staring down one powerful monster, but you still have a chance to win!”

 

Jasmine tells the female voice, “How can I win? She is just too strong for me!”

 

The female voice roars out, in a serious tone and mentally, “Get a grip! Remember Jaden Yuki, that friend that you thought could never beat Crowler? Well, he faced some of the best duelists that were supposed out there and he kicked their asses! And, needed I say, you saw plenty of them seemed pretty hopeless, but he won anyway! If that boy, Jaden Yuki, can do it, so can you! He is dueling his heart out to get Alexis back and the Sailor Senshi are here to do their best to save one of their friends that was brainwashed by Sartorius!” Soon after, memories of the duels that Jaden fought during his first year that Jasmine saw, Alexis being brainwashed into the Society of Light, and Serena's duel with Blair flow into Jasmine's mind.

 

Jasmine thinks in her mind, “That's right! Jaden, our friends, Serena, and her friends are working and dueling their hearts out to save Alexis and the whole world! I can't just lie and let myself get brainwashed! I'm getting up and kicking butt!” Jasmine's eyes then shoot open and she slowly gets to her feet.

 

Ashley tells Jasmine, with a cold tone and grin, “Are you giving up? Did you come to your senses and know that this defeat is destiny? It is time to see the light.”

 

Jasmine tells Ashley, in a serious tone, “No way, Ashley! I'm not giving up! I've got one draw left and that's all I'll need! My friends are counting me! Alexis is counting on me! Every one that I know and care about me is counting on me to win this duel and squashed that rotten brainwashing freak!”

 

Ashley laughs at Jasmine and says, coldly, “Is that so? Do you think that you can deny destiny?”

 

Jasmine roars out, in a super-serious tone, “I don't care about destiny! I don't care if I'm supposed to be defeated in this duel! If I have to . . . I WILL DEFY DESTINY TO SAVE MY FRIENDS!!” Jasmine's whole body then becomes engulfed in a slight flaming red aura, surprising everyone, memories of some kind of life within a golden palace, of a young teenage girl similar in appearance to Jasmine in a flaming red and white sailor fuku, and of images and memories of this teenage girl with Princess Arinna and Queen Sol surge into Jasmine's mind, and not noticed by everyone else, a small red symbol appears on Jasmine's forehead for a moment: The astrological symbol of Aries.

 

Mindy asks in her mind, wondering, “What's happening to Jasmine?” However, the symbol quickly fades away as quickly as it came and the aura that was around her faded away. However, when Ashley looks into Jasmine's eyes, she gasps in shock to see some kind of fire burning in them, figuratively speaking of course, with strength and determination that was never seen in her before.

 

Jasmine calls out as she draws one card, her tone sounding commanding and confident that's totally un-like her, “You ready, Ashley? This time, the real duel is about to begin and it means your end! My draw!”

 

Ashley and Mindy think in their minds at the same time, “She sounds totally different!”

 

Jasmine puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, in the same commanding and confident tone, “Next, I play my Card of Sanctity spell card! This card forces us to draw until we have six cards in our hands! It seems like a major risk to give you more cards, but I don't need to worry.”

 

Ashley and Jasmine draw until they have six cards in their hands and Ashley asks, coldly, “Why's that?”

 

Jasmine looks at the cards in her hand and says, with a sly grin, “That's really simple. This is duel is going to end this turn with my victory.”

 

Ashley says, in a cold tone, “You lie!”

 

Jasmine tells Ashley, in a plain tone while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I'll let my cards do the talking! First, it is time for Living Arrow! It takes out one of your spell or trap cards while dealing you five hundred points of damage!” An arrow goes through Ashley's Coffin Seller, destroying it, and Ashley takes 500 life-points of damage. Jasmine then says, in a strong and serious not seen in her before, “Next, I play my Dark Spell Regeneration! This spell card allows me to play any spell card in the graveyard! And I choose my Machine Angel Ritual!” Jasmine then displays two cards, causing holograms of Cyber Prima (2300/1600) and Dark Witch (1800/1700) to appear on the field as she discards the two cards to the graveyard, and says, while putting a card on her duel disk, “Goodbye, Prima and Dark Witch! And say hello to this bad girl! Cyber Angel Athena!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Mindy exclaims, confused, “Who!” Just then a monster that looks to be a humanoid female monster wearing a black and red bodysuit with golden Greek helmet, golden armor covering her breasts and one-half of her lower chest, her groin area, her elbows, and her kneecaps, and has fiery red armored boots that reach up just below her armored kneecaps, with one swords with fiery red hilt and silver blade in her left hand, and a shield with a golden phoenix in the right hand appears on the field.

 

Ashley says, in a shocked tone, “Who is that?!”

 

Jasmine calls out, with a sly smirk and serious tone, “My Cyber Angel Athena, of course!” Cyber Angel Athena is a ten-star monster with 3000/2450 stats! Jasmine then shouts out, “Now, I play her special effect! Once per turn, I can remove one monster card from my graveyard and from play. Then my Cyber Angel Athena is allowed to remove one monster on your side of the field from the game!”

 

Ashley calls out, shocked, “No!”

 

Jasmine shouts out, “Now, I remove my Cyber Angel Idaten from play to take out your dragon!” Jasmine removes her Cyber Angel Idaten from her graveyard and Cyber Angel Athena leaps towards Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon, slices it in half, and it explodes as it is removed from play. Jasmine then calls out, in a strong and commanding tone, “If I didn't know any better, I would believe that you have nothing to defend your life-points.”

 

Ashley exclaims, shocked and horrified, “No, this can't be! Destiny is on my side!”

 

Jasmine roars out, in her new strong and command tone, “Wrong, girl! As long as you are with someone as twisted and evil as Sartorius, there is only one `destiny' for you: Defeat! Now, my Cyber Angel Athena, I command you to strike her down! Finish her off and end this duel with Cyber War Blade Slash!” Cyber Angel Athena rushes in, slashes Ashley with her blade, and she screams out as she loses 3000 life-points in one shot, ending this duel immediately.

Jasmine says to Ashley, in a plain tone, “Game over.” Jasmine thinks in her mind, “That duel was for you, Alexis. One day, the others and I will get you back.” Ashley then faints towards the ground, lands the ground on her back, and Jasmine turns towards the two white students holding Mindy. Mindy and the two of them look to see seriousness and hardness in Jasmine's eyes while she gives the two white students a death glare that sent shivers down their spines. Jasmine tells the two guards, in a cold and nasty tone not heard in heard before, “Now, unless, you want to end up like her . . . Drop my friend and run back to that mind-controlling freak as fast as your legs can take you . . . RIGHT NOW!” The two white students release Mindy from their grip and run back to the `White Dorm' as fast as they can.

 

Mindy tells Jasmine, with a slight smile, “Whoa. Way to go, Jasmine.” Mindy then looks at Jasmine and she sees that she is putting Ashley on her shoulders.

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, “Let's bring this girl to Ms. Fontaine and get back to that `White Dorm'. We're getting Atticus and getting the hell out of there.” Jasmine then starts off, taking Ashley, in a mixture of carrying and dragging, to the nurse's office in the main building on Academy Island with Mindy following her.

 

Mindy asks Jasmine, “Jasmine, are you feeling okay? You sounded a bit different back there.”

 

Jasmine gives a wide sly grin and replies, in a sly tone, “I'm just fine. In fact, I never felt this great in years.”

 

Mindy thinks in her mind, “What does Jasmine mean by that?”

 

Jasmine growls in her mind, “By mighty hand of Ra, this girl is like a dead weight something! I don't get why she can weight so much and have such an awesome figure. Anyway, when I'm out of that evil hellhole that my dorm has becomes, I'm going to have to meet the other Sailor Senshi because there is a `new girl' about to come into `fold'!” Jasmine's forehead, for one second, gains the astrological symbol of Aries in a fiery red color on her forehead, but it fades away before Mindy even notices.

 

(Returning to the `White Dorm'; Sometime later)

 

Sometime after the duel between Ashley and Jasmine, we find Jasmine in front of the door to Atticus' room in the `White Dorm', but her attire has slightly changed. She has a fiery red cloth choker around her neck, ruby red fingernails, and flame-designed fingerless fighting gloves on her hands.

 

When she knocks on the door, Atticus' voice rings out, “Who is it?!”

 

Jasmine calls through the door, in a serious tone, “Atticus, it's me, Jasmine! Open up!” Soon after, Jasmine hears the door unlocking and it opens to reveal one of the few Obelisk Blue students other than Jasmine and Mindy that weren't brainwashed by Sartorius. Namely, the `pop star' duelist of Obelisk Blue and Alexis' older brother, Atticus Rhodes.

 

Atticus asks Jasmine, “Hey, girl, what's up?!” When Atticus notices the gloves, fingernails, and choker, he asks, “Whoa! What's with the change in style?!”

 

Jasmine rolls her eyes and tells Atticus, “Explain later, Atticus! You have to pack up! You are the one of the few students left that weren't brainwashed by this freak, Sartorius! You have to leave before there is nothing of Obelisk Blue left, but memories!”

 

Atticus sighs and tells Jasmine, “I can't.”

 

Jasmine exclaims, surprised and annoyed, “Why not?!”

 

Atticus tells Jasmine, “I've got to try to make my sister see reason and try to convince her to leave them.”

 

Jasmine tells Atticus, “Atticus, she is under Sarotrius' mind and control! And because you are so close together is why that Sarotrius will want to brainwash you! To ensure that Alexis stays under his control!”

 

Atticus tells Jasmine, in a plain tone, “That might be true, but I've still got to try. I'm sorry, Jasmine. Later.”

 

Jasmine tries to yell out, “But-!” However, Atticus closes the door at her face and she hears the door lock behind her. Jasmine thinks in her mind, “All right, that does it! He might be cute, but I won't give in to his stupidity! Just like a boy!” Jasmine then turns his right hand into a fist and with incredible super-strength, busts right through Atticus' wooden door without getting injured in the least, undoing the locked, and kicking in his door with considerable force.

 

Atticus exclaims, shocked at what Jasmine just did, “Jasmine, how did you do that?! And plus, did you have to do that?! I just got that door detailed!” However, Jasmine grabs Atticus by the neck-collar, throws to the wall, and looks at with a deadly death glare that sends shivers down his spine.

 

Jasmine roars out, angrily, “Now, you see here, Atticus! My dorm has painted white, my dorm mates turned into mindless zombies by some psychopath freak, my best friend is now one of his `converts', and I had to duel to save my other friend and myself from ending up the same way! Now, I'm not going to take anymore lip! You are one of the best hopes to saving Alexis and I'm not going to risk it because of your `manly pride' or whatever! You are going to get your stuff, pack up, and leave with Mindy and me right at this moment! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!”

 

Atticus nods his head and replies, VERY nervously, “Yes! Yes! Understood, ma'am!”

 

Jasmine releases Atticus, she dusts herself off, and tells him, with a sly grin, “Good. Now, get going.” Atticus, not wanting to face Jasmine's wrath, quickly goes over to his stuff and starts to pack what he wants and needs from his dorm room.

 

(In the main hall of the `White Dorm'; A short time soon after)

 

Mindy is looking around to see if any other of the members of the `White Dorm' were around, grateful there were none at the moment or so it seems, and then hears a sound from up the stairs. Mindy looks to see Jasmine `escorting' Atticus, who is carrying two of suitcases with him, towards Mindy.

 

Atticus tells Jasmine, nervously, “Oh, come on, Jasmine! Can't you at least help me?!”

 

Jasmine tells Atticus, in a serious tone and sly grin, “Sorry, Atticus! You might be cute and all, but it is your stuff and you carry it! Besides, you are a man after all.”

 

Atticus asks Jasmine, perplexed, “What has gotten into you, Jasmine? Girl empowerment monthly or something?”

 

Jasmine replies, with a sly smirk, “Let's just say that I've got a `perspective' on myself when I found out something about myself that I didn't know before.”

 

While Atticus wondered what Jasmine meant by that, they reach the bottom of the stairs to meet Mindy and she tells them, “Finally! Let's get out of this place before someone notices us!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice says, coldly, “You aren't going anywhere.” Mindy, Jasmine, and Atticus turn to the source to see Alexis and Chazz with a group of white students behind them and staring at all of them coldly.

 

Mindy says, worriedly, “Oh no.” However, Jasmine boldly steps in front of them and prepares to face her brainwashed best friend and her fellow Society of Light `minions'.

 

Jasmine asks Alexis, in a serious tone, “What do you want?”

 

Alexis tells Jasmine, coldly, “Sorry, Jasmine, you aren't leaving. Master Sarotrius had `invited' you to his chamber and attendance isn't optional.”

 

Jasmine replies, in a strong tone, “What if we say `no'?”

 

Chazz moves forwards and tells her, “You have no choice. No one escapes destiny. It is time for the three of you to see the light if you are going to stay here.”

 

Mindy tells Chazz, in a serious tone, through showing some fear, “Well, we aren't staying! We're leaving!”

 

Chazz tells Mindy, “Sorry, but that isn't an option either! You are coming into the light with us!” Soon enough, Chazz grabs Jasmine's right arm and prepares to drag her to Sarotrius' room within the `White Dorm'.

 

Jasmine roars out, angrily, “Let go of me, asshole!” Suddenly, Jasmine easily breaks away from Chazz's grip, surprising him, Jasmine slams her right hand into Chazz's neck, gripping his neck in a tight chokehold, and much to everyone's amazement, Jasmine lifts Chazz into the air with only her right hand. Chazz, being choked by Jasmine's, now, super-strong grip, puts both of his hands on Jasmine's wrist, but he couldn't break her chokehold on him.

 

Atticus yells out, shocked, “Oh my god! When did Jasmine become some kind of `strong girl'?!” Alexis and the other white students were totally flabbergasted at what was happening and didn't know what to do.

 

Jasmine roars out at Chazz and the other white students, in a very serious tone, “Now, you listen, you upstart twit! My two friends and I are leaving this dorm and you are not going to do anything about it! I have had it with this `pre-destiny' and `seeing the light' crap! I'm choosing my destiny and my `destiny' tells me to get out of here! And you are going to agree or I will snap your weaseling neck!” Jasmine then throws Chazz into a group of white students, knocking him and one dozen of them to the ground. Alexis and the remaining standing white students look at this `event' quite shocked and then look at Jasmine, who is cracking her knuckles and has a sinister looking smirk on her lips. Jasmine says, in a deadly glare and commanding tone, “I've found my own `enlightenment' and let's just say that it give me an advantage over you, white dorks! Now, are you going to let us go or is this going to have to get rough?!”

 

The whole room was silent for a one minute and then Alexis says, plainly, “Let them go. The more purified our dorm is, the better. Let them these `unpurified' people go and do what they want.” The white students then stood aside and allowed the three of them to pass.

 

Jasmine asks Mindy and Atticus, with a wide smile on her lips, “Shall we?” Atticus and Mindy, shocked at what Jasmine just did, could only nod and the three of them headed out. Jasmine thinks in her mind, “Don't worry, Alexis, I might be leaving now, but I will be back and on that day, I will set you and the others free!” While the other white students knocked down by Jasmine get back to their feet, Chazz was trying to catch his breath after being choked by Jasmine and all of them, minus Chazz, watched them leave, nearly of all of them, minus Alexis, had amazed looks on their faces.

 

(Inside of the Ra Yellow Dorms; around dusk)

 

Within the Ra Yellow Dorm, Mindy and Atticus was talking to Bastion, Tyranno, and Syrus, all three of whom decided to stay at their Ra Yellow Dorms to make sure that Sarotrius didn't make a move on their dorm, again, since they already reduce the numbers by nearly half. However, that was good news for Mindy, Jasmine, and Atticus since it freed up some rooms in the Ra Yellow Dorm for them to live in until Sarotrius is stopped and their dorm is returned to normal. However, the story that they were telling about Jasmine, through the duel with Ashley, and into what Jasmine did to Chazz when they were leaving the `White Dorms' made the three friends, Bastion, Tyranno, and Syrus shocked to say the least. During this time, the others that knew the true identities decided to reveal about Serena, Rei, Mina, Ami, Lita, Hotaru, Trista, Amara, Michelle, and still controlled Hotaru being Sailor Senshi as well as Darien being Tuxedo Mask to Atticus because they had a feeling that they might need to.

 

Syrus exclaims, flabbergasted, “Whoa! Jasmine actually did that to Chazz?!”

 

Atticus tells Syrus, “No joke, dude! Jasmine just tossed Chazz like he was a piece of meat or something! I never seen her so super-strong or so . . .”

 

Mindy says, finishing for Atticus, “. . . Or so dominating! She was in total control and her tone was so . . . commanding! It was like she was a powerful Amazon or something! Even more than Talia was!”

 

Bastion tells Mindy, “Mindy, please . . . that name . . .” Bastion still hadn't got over what happened between him and the third Shadow Rider, the Amazon Talia.

 

Mindy says, blushing in embarrassment, “Sorry.”

 

Tyranno exclaims, amazed, “Sam hill! I wonder what could have happened to her!”

 

Bastion says, in a logical tone, “Well, I don't think that she is under Sartorius' control or anyone else control for that matter! Jasmine, now, sounds too independent for any type of control, now!”

 

Atticus tells Bastion, “No kidding, Bastion! She was controlling others, not others controlling her!”

 

Bastion says, in a logical manner, “It's . . . It's like that something `awoke' within her . . . A strength that she never had before just busted out and she became a different person . . .”

 

Syrus asks Bastion, “Maybe the Sailor Senshi could know about this.”

 

Bastion tells Syrus, “It is possible. Hopefully, we can convince Jasmine to come with us to see the Sailor Senshi. If she is being controlled by someone other than Sarotrius or under some kind of dark influence within herself or otherwise, they will know, especially Rei Hino since she is a miko after all.”

 

Atticus tells the others, “I still can't believe those new teachers and new students are those superheroes from Juuban!” Atticus then says, in a serious tone, “However, if they think that Sarotrius is a really `bad tune' for the world and the universe, then Sarotrius isn't no joke.”

 

Syrus tells Atticus, “No joke, Atticus! He brainwashed Ami and Hotaru and even through Jaden freed Ami, Hotaru is still under Sartorius' control!”

 

Bastion states, in a serious manner, “Which could be dangerous? Remember, Hotaru has the ability to destroy the entire world with her powers and if Sartorius uses that, it might be all over.”

 

Tyranno asks Bastion, “You know, Sarotrius might be a pale-face freak, but he isn't no idiot! Don't you think that he would have figured out about our new troops and Hotaru by now?”

 

Bastion replies, plainly, “Remember, he might already know. But what would trouble me is if he wants to destroy our world, why doesn't he do so now? With Hotaru, he has the power.”

 

Syrus tells Bastion, “Bastion, I don't want to think about that!”

 

Bastion replies, embarrassedly, “Sorry, Syrus.”

 

Tyranno says, simply, “Anyway, we bring private Jasmine to our new allies, the Sailor Soldiers, and see what they can tell us about her. However, we have to keep this `top secret' from her or who knows what will happen. She doesn't seem like the girl that can easily be taken down now.”

 

Syrus nods his head in agreement and states, simply, “No kidding, Hassleberry.” Syrus gives a great yawn and tells the others, “All right, I see you later.”

 

Mindy and Atticus say in unison, “Night.” Soon after, Mindy, Atticus, Tyranno, and Syrus return to their room within the Ra Yellow dorm to get ready for bed that night.

 

(Returning to the `White Dorm'; around the same time)

 

Inside of Sarotrius' room within the `White Dorm', Alexis, Chazz, and the two white students that witnessed Jasmine's and Ashley's duel reported on what happened. Sarotrius was giving looks of great interest while shuffling the cards on his table.

 

Sartorius says, simply, “I see. So, this Jasmine has seemly gained great power.”

 

Chazz tells Sarotrius, “It seems so, Sarotrius-sama. Jasmine's grip has gotten a lot stronger I can tell you.”

 

Alexis then says, coldly, “And she threw you around as if you were a limp rag doll, Chazz.”

 

Chazz tells Alexis, annoyed, “Thanks a lot.”

 

Sarotrius tells the students, “Very interesting. Thank you for informing me. Please get some sleep.”

 

The four students bow in front of Sarotrius and Chazz tells him, “Thank you, Master Sarotrius.”

 

Alexis then states, in a plain tone, “Good night, sir.” The four white students then walk out of the room and when they are out of the room, Sartorius takes a card from his deck of Tarot cards to reveal The Knight card.

 

Sartorius says, with an interested grin, “I see. The cards were talking about Alexis' friend, Jasmine. It seems like the duel has awakened a great power within her. She must be the new Sailor Senshi that the cards warned me about. However, I must see this with my own eyes!” Sartorius' own eyes glow with a bright purple light and pure white light and smoke forms in front of his table. Just then a figure starts to appear from the smoke and light and when the smoke and light are fading away, we are looking down at Sartorius looking at a large shadow in front of him. Sartorius tells this large `shadow', in a plain tone, “Seek out the Sailor Senshi and destroy them!” The shadow gives out a loud roar and vanishes in a bright white light. Sartorius continues to go through his cards, again, and he says to himself, “That beast won't be enough to defeat the Sailor Senshi, but it will draw out Jasmine and I can see her new powers in action. Now, Jasmine, show me your new power.”

 

(Back inside of the Ra Yellow Dorm; A short time later into the evening)

 

Inside of the Ra Yellow Dorm, we find Jasmine lying down on a good sized bed with a pen-like object in her right hand. It looks similar to Sailor Mars' henshin wand, but it has a silver staff with two golden angel wings attached to the top of the staff, one on the left side and the other wing on the other side, a fiery red crystal orb in the center with the picture a sword and shield in ruby red inside of the crystal orb, and a golden heart jewel attached above the crystal orb with four golden angel wings attached to the heart jewel with a ruby in the form of the astrological symbol of Aries in the center of the heart jewel.

 

Jasmine takes a deep sigh and says, “Can't believe that I'm doing this, again. But I guess that my Sailor Senshi heritage isn't going to lie down and die on me.” Jasmine grips the pen tightly in her hand and says, “Now, I have the power to aid Alexis. Just wish I knew how to use it to save her.” Just then she felt the presence of evil within the area and Jasmine gives a loud groan of disapproval and disbelief. Jasmine exclaims, annoyed, “Oh, man! Can't I ever get a break?” Jasmine takes her new pen and runs out of her `new room' as fast as she can go without slamming into anything.

 

(Outside of the Slifer Red dorms; A brief time soon after)

 

Just outside of the Slifer Red dorms, we find Jaden and Blair looking down from the second floor `walkway' to see a huge nine foot humanoid creature with pale white skin, dark purple eyes, long ghastly silver hair, covered in some kind of white snake-like scales, and has long one foot length claws instead of fingers in his hands.

 

Blair exclaims, scared, “Jaden-senpai, what is that thing?”

 

Jaden replies, worriedly, “I don't know, but what I can tell you that it isn't friendly!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice shouts out, “Hold it right there!” Jaden, Blair, and creature look to the source of the voice to see Sailor Moon and the Sailor Senshi, minus Sailor Saturn, and Tuxedo Mask standing in the direction that the creature along with our two Slifer Red students is looking.

 

Blair says, excitedly, “All right! The girls are here to help us!”

 

Sailor Moon shouts out at the creature, seriously, “How dare you terrorize students while they are get some sleep?! I'm Sailor Moon, Champion of Love and Justice, and in the name of the moon, I will punish you!”

 

The creature replies, in a dark male voice, “That's where you are wrong, Sailor Moon. You are the one to be punished . . . for interfering the path of destiny. You will not stop the power of light of truth.”

 

Jaden states, surprised, “Hold on! That's sounds familiar!”

 

Blair says to Jaden, “It's what Sarotrius and the students that he brainwashed keep mumbling about!”

 

The Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask overhear this and Sailor Mars exclaims, in serious tone, “Hey, were you created by Sartorius?!”

 

The creature replies, “Yes, he is. Master Sartorius created me to ensure your destruction! Now, it is time to taste the power of the light!” The creature leaps into the air and starts to fire multiple sphere of pure white light energy at the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask. They barely jump out of the way in time. When they landed, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune step up to attack.

 

“Neptune Deep Submerge!”

 

“Uranus World Shaking!”

 

Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune launch a sphere of orange energy and a sphere of water energy at the evil creature, but he creates some kind of white energy shield and manages to hold back the attack.

 

Sailor Uranus exclaims, shocked, “No way!”

 

The creature evilly laughs and replies, “Ha! I am protected by the light of truth! There is no way you can stop me!”

 

Sailor Jupiter shouts out, in a serious tone, “We'll see about that freak!”

 

“Jupiter Oak Evolution!”

 

Sailor Jupiter spins around as she sends green spheres of electrical and wood power at the evil `creature of light', but the creature, with incredible agility, easily dodges the attack.

However, Sailor Moon appears and uses her Eternal Tier to hit the `creature of light' with pink and golden energy, but the evil creature laughs as its muscles start to `bulk up' from Sailor Moon's attack.

 

Sailor Venus shouts out, shocked, “What the?! That creature somehow absorbed Sailor Moon's energy!”

 

Sailor Mercury asks, curiously, “But why did it avoid our attacks and use Sailor Moon's attack to increase its power.”

 

Tuxedo Mask says, in a serious tone, “It's light! That `thing' uses light energy to increase its power!”

 

Sailor Moon states, worriedly, “It does?!”

 

Sailor Mars shouts out, in a serious and annoyed tone, “No duh, Sailor Moon! So, don't attack it, you will just make it stronger!”

 

The `creature of light' exclaims, confidently, “Doesn't matter that you know now?! Thanks to her, my power is even stronger! Taste the power of the light!” The `creature of light' sends a powerful shockwave at the Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask, knocking them to the ground, hard.

 

Jaden says, growling and giving off a worried expression, “So not sweet. That thing was so powerful before and now, Sailor Moon can't attack it or she will make it stronger!”

 

The `creature of light' leaps at Sailor Mars, who is temporary stunned thanks to its attack, claws bent on impaling her, and Blair calls out to Sailor Mars, “Look out!” However, when Sailor Mars is able to see the attack, she can't avoid it in time.

 

Sailor Jupiter shouts out to Sailor Mars, “Mars, get out of the way!”

 

“Aries Eternal Dragonfire!”

 

However, a huge flaming dragon slams into the evil creature just before it can attack Sailor Mars and it screams in extreme pain as it is sent rocketing down to the ground, causing a small crater to form when it hits.

 

Sailor Moon asks, perplexed, “Huh? Sailor Mars was down! Who did that?”

 

A female voice calls out, in a serious tone, “I did!” When everyone looks to the source of the powerful attack, they gasp in shock to see a brand new Sailor Senshi standing in front of them.

 

This brand new Sailor Senshi looks exactly like Jasmine, in the hair color, hair style, and eye color, she has two sets of three small golden feathers on the forward portion of her scalp with one set on the right side and the other set of golden feathers on the left side, the astrological symbol of Aries in flaming red is on her forehead, her lips were covered in light maroon lipstick, her earrings are rubies in the shape of rams above golden heart and star jewels attached below the rubies, her cloth choker is flaming red with a golden heart jewel and a ruby in the form of the astrological symbol of Aries in the center of the choker, her V-style sailor collar is also a flaming red color as well, her shoulder pad are designed exactly like Eternal Sailor Moon's shoulder pads expect they were beautiful and sparkling icy-blue, her gloves were designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's gloves, expect they have flaming red bands on them and the bands attached to the ends of the gloves had three small golden feathers attached, her bodysuit was angelic white like the other Sailor Senshi, in the bust area of the bodysuit there is a beautiful large ruby in the shape of a heart with a golden jewel in the form of a ram attached to the heart jewel with six golden angel wings attached both jewels, her mini-skirt was flaming red, ruby red, and bright orange in color, the another heart jewel that's exactly like the one in the bust area of her bodysuit is attached to the top center portion of her mini-skirt, the bow on the rear of her mini-skirt is designed exactly like Eternal Sailor Moon's bow, but it is flaming red in color, she is wearing similar high-heeled shoes as Sailor Neptune, but they are bright gold in color with the astrological symbol of Aries in flaming red on the toe of each high-heeled shoes and the heels are one inch higher with two white angel wings on each heel, and coming out of her back are six golden angel wings. In her two hands are metal fans similar to what Kitana from Mortal Kombat uses expect they are flaming red in color.

 

Sailor Venus exclaims, shocked, “A brand new Sailor Senshi?!”

 

The `creature of light' roars out at the new Sailor Senshi, angrily, “Who are you?! Identify yourself!”

 

The new Sailor Senshi says with a sly smirk, “The name is Eternal Sailor Aries of the Zodiac Sailor Senshi is my name and destroying evil is my game, pal!”

 

Sailor Mars asks, perplexed, “Zodiac Sailor Senshi?”

 

Sailor Pluto says in reply, “Yes, back in the Silver Millennium, we weren't the only Sailor Senshi in the Solar System. The Zodiac Sailor Senshi were another group of Sailor Senshi that protect the Solar System and another set of kingdoms similar to the Moon Kingdom and Silver Alliance.”

 

While Tuxedo Mask and the other Sailor Senshi look at Pluto in amazement, the `creature of light' says, angrily, “I don't care if there are more of you brats! I will carry out the will of destiny and Master Sarotrius!”

 

Sailor Aries tells the `creature of light', angrily, “You know, I've gotten a bit annoyed at all of this `destiny' stuff and I think it is time to shut you up!” The creature of light rushes towards Sailor Aries with intent to kill her with its claws, but Sailor Aries' metal fans become engulfed in flames and with ease and quickness, Sailor Aries uses her flaming metal fans to cut off all of the creature's claws causing it to `bleed' pure white blood. Sailor Aries says, a bit disgusted, “Well, I'm going to sick in the morning.” Sailor Aries attached her weapons to her skirt when she `retracts' the fans into simple dagger-like blades and leaps over to Sailor Mars, who is amazed by Sailor Aries' power.

 

Sailor Mars asks her, “You are a fire Senshi, too?”

 

Sailor Aries says, in a plain tone, “Came with the costume.” Sailor Aries extends her right hand out and asks, with a smile, “Want to double team him?”

 

Sailor Mars felt he could trust her and replies, “Sure!” Sailor Mars takes Sailor Aries' hand causing both of their heart jewels to glow.

 

Sailor Mercury asks, perplexed, “What's going on with the two of them?”

 

Sailor Mars asks, confused, “What is this?”

 

Sailor Aries replies, just as confused, “Your guess is as good as mine.” Soon after, Sailor Mars and Sailor Aries were engulfed in flaming red light for several seconds, forcing everyone else to cover their eyes. When the light died down and everyone is able to look again, they find that Sailor Mars has undergone another transformation.

 

Sailor Mars' uniform is mainly the same, but now, she has two sets of white feathers in the forward portion of her scalp, one the left side and the other on the right side, the tiara across her forehead is gone, replaced the symbol of Mars in ruby red imprinted on her forehead, her lips are a deep ruby red, her earrings are golden heart jewels with rubies in the form of the symbol of Mars attached below, her choker has a golden heart jewel and a ruby in the form of the symbol of Mars in the center, she has the same pink shoulder pads like Eternal Sailor Moon's shoulder pad attached to the shoulder areas of her fuku, her gloves are designed very much like Eternal Sailor Moon's gloves, her ruby heart jewel on the bust area of her bodysuit has lost its bow, gaining four white angel wings attached to it, her mini-skirt is tripled layered with ruby red, dark blue, and dark green as the colors, a golden jewel in the form of the symbol of Mars in the top center portion of her mini-skirt, the ruby red bow on the rear of the mini-skirt is now of Eternal Sailor Moon's bow in design, she still has the same ruby red high-heeled shoes as in her pervious forms, but now, they have two white angel wings on the heels, and coming out of her back are four white angel wings.

 

Sailor Neptune says, amazed, “Sailor Mars is an Eternal Sailor Senshi now!”

 

Sailor Pluto says, in a serious tone, “Contact with a fellow fire Senshi has allowed Sailor Aries to bring Mars to the Eternal level!”

 

Sailor Moon says, happily, “Awesome!”

 

Sailor Mars, amazed at her new Eternal form, says, “I don't know how you did it, but thanks.”

 

Sailor Aries replies, a bit nervously, “Thanks . . . I think.”

 

The `creature of light' rushes towards Sailor Mars and Sailor Aries and shouts out, “Save the praise! You are still going to die!”

 

Sailor Mars and Sailor Aries say in unison, “I don't think so!” The two of them then leap in the air and prepare their attacks.

 

“Mars Eternal Phoenixfire!”

 

“Aries Eternal Dragonfire!”

 

Sailor Mars and Sailor Aries launch powerful flame attacks at their opponent with Sailor Mars' flaming turning into a huge phoenix while Sailor Aries' flames turn into an Asian dragon shape. The two attacks slam into the `creature of light' and it screams out as the intense flames turn it into ashes.

 

Sailor Moon exclaims, excitedly, “All right! It's moon dust!”

 

Sailor Jupiter tells Sailor Moon, “Actually, they turned it into ashes, not dust, Sailor Moon.”

 

Sailor Moon replies, a bit nervously, “Whatever.”

 

Sailor Aries and Sailor Mars landed on the ground and Sailor Mars tells Sailor Aries, “Thanks a lot for the help, but who are you?”

 

Sailor Aries gives a wide smile and replies, “Don't tell me that you forget about me?! Remember the girl from the Obelisk Blue dorms that wasn't brainwashed by Sarotrius with that other girl that said `White is so not her color'.”

 

Sailor Mars gasps in shock and exclaims, “Wait! You're . . . ?!” However, Sailor Aries quickly clamped Sailor Mars' mouth and points to the Slifer Red dorms, when they look up, they see that the sounds of battle has attracted the other Slifer Red students from their beds and were looking at Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Senshi with awe-struck eyes. When Sailor Aries takes her hands out of Sailor Mars' mouth, she yells, annoyed, “Did you really have to do that?!”

 

Sailor Aries tells Sailor Mars, in a serious tone, “Well, you were about to reveal my identity, you know?!”

 

Tuxedo Mask tells all of the Sailor Senshi, “I think we should save the explanations for later. Right now, it is time to take our leave.”

 

Sailor Jupiter says, in a plain tone, “Good idea.”

 

Sailor Venus blows a kiss to the Slifer Red students and replies, “Later, boys!” All of the male Slifer Red students, minus Jaden, gets big pink hearts in their eyes like you see in anime cartoons as our Sailor Senshi and Tuxedo Mask leap off into the woods. On the meanwhile, two feline figures dart away from the Slifer Red dorms right after them.

 

(Returning to the `White Dorm'; shortly thereafter)

 

Shortly after the battle, we find Sartorius with his eyes closed as his powers allowed him to see the battle between his `creature of light' and the Sailor Senshi unfold. When he opens his eyes, Sartorius gains a wide grin on his lips.

 

Sartorius goes through his Tarot cards and says, “Indeed, the cards and I were correct. Jasmine is one of the Sailor Senshi, but it seems like she doesn't belong with their group. This shall prove very interesting indeed.”

 

(Rejoining our Sailor Senshi; on the meanwhile)

 

In the aftermath of the battle, we find Darien and the Sailor Senshi, in their civilian forms, facing none other than Jasmine with her new henshin transformation wand in her right hand. Jasmine had already explained about what happened in that between her and Ashley and how it caused her to `awaken'. On the meanwhile, Trista, along with the two guardian cats, who were watching the battle from the Slifer Red dorm, were explaining about the Zodiac Sailor Senshi.

 

When they were done, Mina asks Trista, “Okay, so, there were another group of Sailor Senshi other than us in this Solar System?”

 

Atriums replies, “That's right, Mina. They were the Zodiac Sailor Senshi, each one was a princess from the twelve kingdoms in the star constellations of the Indo-European Zodiac, which would also be the Silver Alliance's Zodiac, hence their name. The twelve kingdoms of the star constellations were part of alliance much like our own known as the Golden Alliance and the `head' of the council for the Golden Alliance was the ruler of the Sun Kingdom, the `sibling kingdom' to the Moon Kingdom. They were much like us in many ways and they had their own treasure, the taiyouzuishou or Imperium Sun Crystal, which was very much like the Imperium Silver Crystal. However, this kingdom was been stepped in combat and warfare since the day of its birth and they were a people of elite warriors. However, their kingdom was very much civilized and the decree of the first ruler was that the duty of the Sun Kingdom, its royal family, and its people was the protection of the innocent and keeping the balance of light and darkness. And it was very beautiful kingdom, rivaling the Moon Kingdom in many years.”

 

Luna then says, continuing the explanation, “The Sun and Moon Kingdoms along with their alliances were good allies and friends for many upon many years, but neither kingdom's royal families nor peoples have ever met each other in any kind of occasion until sometime after Prince Endymon's first official visit to the Moon Kingdom. Like the Moon Kingdom, the Sun Kingdom was vary of the people of Earth, but King Apollo, ruler of the Sun Kingdom, believed that there is always good with evil. Remember, this was a time that Earth was at war with itself. When Prince Endymon came to the moon, successfully, King Apollo felt that a golden chance arrived. He believed that true peace can be achieved with the unions of the sun, the moon, and the Earth and after Prince Endymon first arrived on the moon, Queen Sol, wife of King Apollo, her daughter, Princess Arinna of the Sun, also known as the taiyou-no-hime, Princess Serenity's counterpart in the Sun Kingdom, and eldest daughter of King Apollo and Queen Sol, and her guardians, the Zodiac Sailor Senshi, arrived at most unexpected visit. The people of the moon were surprised to see more Sailor Senshi since only Queen Serenity knew about them and much information about the Sun Kingdom. They had come to establish a closer alliance with the Moon Kingdom and the Silver Alliance as well as meet with Prince Endymon and his kingdom to formalize peace as well. However, Princess Arinna was different from Princess Serenity in the fashion that she was trained as a warrior as well. As the heir to the throne of the Sun Kingdom, she was to be expected to be one of the most powerful warriors in all of the Sun Kingdom as well as promote equally between the kingdom through the taiyou-no-hime and her guardians and like all female members of her family, she, too, was a Sailor Senshi.”

 

Rei asks, surprised, “This princess was a Sailor Senshi?”

 

Luna replies, in her usual fashion, “Yes, she was. She was Sailor Sun, the legendary Sailor Senshi of Life. She was among one of the most powerful Sailor Senshi there was since she held a powerful `element' within her and it was her duty to lead her team when all of them were in battle. But when there was a situation where Princess Arinna was in serious danger or when she wasn't able to function, Sailor Aries, took over command.”

 

Lita asks, curiously, “What ever happened to them?”

 

Trista replies, “Only I knew of this. Luna and Atriums were never told because their focus was to find the Moon Princess and all of the Moon Kingdom Senshi at the time. The Sun Kingdom was also destroyed by Queen Beryl in a sneak and surprise attack because she knew that the Sun Kingdom was a threat to her, but she can't just challenge them. She made the focus of her attack on the Moon Kingdom, which made Sailor Sun and her guardians, rush over to aid us. However, while she was gone, Queen Beryl made an immediate and sudden attack on the Sun Kingdom and destroyed it along with the Golden Alliance. In the Moon Kingdom, Sailor Sun and her guardians were killed in quick fashion to ensure that they wouldn't interfere, knowing of the power that they held. However, Queen Serenity used the Silver Crystal to send the people of the Sun, Sailor Sun, and her guardians to Earth to be reborn along with her people through the spirit of King Apollo and Queen Sol chose to remain in the ruins of their kingdom.”

 

Amara asks Jasmine, “How did you get your powers?”

 

Jasmine replies, “Well, like I said before, the intense emotion of the duel caused my memories to return to me and when I got back to my dorm, somehow, I summoned my want to my hands.”

 

Mina then says, with a smile, “Well, it is glad that we have another Sailor Senshi on our side.”

 

Jasmine tells the girls and Darien, “I will be working with you girls to stop Sartorius, but thing is . . . This is only an alliance.”

 

Darien asks Jasmine, curiously, “What do you mean Jasmine?”

 

Jasmine tells the Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi and Darien, “Hello! I'm a Sun Kingdom Sailor Senshi and you are Moon Kingdom! I've got my own princess and team to find! However, that doesn't mean that I don't have the same enemy and I won't help to stop him. It's just . . . Well, I will be doing thing my own way.”

 

Serena tells Jasmine, “Jasmine, you . . .!”

 

Luna then yells at Serena, in a strict tone, “Serena, you can't order her around! She is the guardian of another princess, not you! I know that you don't want Sailor Senshi working apart from each other, but she comes from another kingdom and another alliance! This, unfortunately, means her loyalties and duties lie with the Sun Kingdom and the Golden Alliance! Like it or not, we have to let do what she decides.”

 

Serena sighs and replies, “Oh, okay.”

 

Jasmine tells Serena, “Thanks, girl. I understand.” Jasmine then looks at Michelle and Amara, who are staring at her intently, and says, “However, in order to create less tension and friction between us, especially with those two, I will move in with Blair at the Slifer Red dorm and leave my current room at the Ra Yellow Dorm.”

 

Mina exclaims to Jasmine, “What?! Why?! Now, I could have another Sailor Senshi that I can really talk to personally!”

 

Jasmine tells Mina, with a smile, “Personally, I would love to stay with you, girls! And I do not like this choice, myself, but I think that it is for the best that I keep my `plans' as a Senshi and your `plans' separate until we can totally agree with each other. And I've got my own princess and teammates to find. Most likely, they are already under the mind-control of Sartorius and I will have to free them.”

 

Rei tells Jasmine, with a smile, “Well, if you need any help, you know where to find us. Since we are both Fire Senshi, I feel a kindred spirit with you, Jasmine.”

 

Jasmine nods her head and replies, “Same here, Rei. And I'll come by next time to give you some tips on keeping boys in line.”

 

Rei replies, with a sly smirk, “I'll love it.”

 

Jasmine walks away and says, “Later!”

 

Darien tells Serena, “I'll walk Jasmine to the Slifer Red dorm since I'm the one in charge of that dorm, currently. I know that you are worried for her.”

 

Serena kisses Darien on the cheek and replies, “Thanks, Darien.”

 

Ami tells Jasmine, “Bye!” The other Sailor Senshi wave goodbye as Darien takes Jasmine to the Slifer Red dorms.

 

Amara asks Michelle, “What do you think of her?”

 

Michelle replies, with her usual smile, “She is a very nice girl and she seems quite devoted to her friends as well as helping us. I think that we can trust her.”

 

Serena tells Amara, “Please don't do anything to Jasmine-kun like you did with Seiya-kun and the Starlights.”

 

Amara says, with a huff, “That was different, Princess.”

 

Mina tells Lita, “Something will never change, eh, Lita?”

 

Lita nods her head in agreement and replies, “Yep.” Our Sailor Senshi then head off towards where they are staying for their time in Duel Academy, but what they didn't know is that someone was watching them from a distance. When we get a closer look at this person, we find that it is none other than Aster Phoenix that was observing them. He has his arms crossed against his chest, giving an intense stare of seriousness, and starts to walk away.

 

Aster, while starting to walk away, thinks in his mind, “It looks like Rei Hino knows a lot more than she let on in the first place! Not that I can blame her! However, since she and her friends are the Sailor Senshi, then Sartorius' plans must be a bigger threat than I thought! All right, Sartorius, I will find out your true plans and what happened to you! I swear on it! You know something about the person that took my father from me and I'm also going to find out why you never told me!” Aster then gets his usual sly grin and thinks, “However, it looks like I've found someone that can help me in that. We will meet again, Sailor Mars . . . Or should I say, Rei Hino.”

 

Next time in Chapter 4: Duel Academy Civil War: As life inside Duel Academy goes on, another new student arrives to join the growing number of student population. Her name is Danielle and she has a mysterious cat named Hyperion with him. Danielle is assigned to Obelisk Blue, but promptly refuses and asks to be put inside of Ra Yellow. However, the `white students' would have that and try to `convert' her to their way of thinking. However, Danielle proved that she wasn't a pushover and defeated the duelist that was sent against her. Soon after, Hyperion reveals that he can talk and Danielle is also a Sun Kingdom Sailor Senshi, Sailor Aquarius, Ami's counterpart in the Zodiac Sailor Senshi as a Sailor Senshi of Ice, and she is quite the `brainy' person herself with IQ and talents to match Ami. Ever through she still is Obelisk Blue, Danielle takes residence inside of the Ra Yellow Dorms and meets up with our Zodiac Fire Senshi, Jasmine. However, even with the growing numbers of allies on their side, our heroes and heroines need a plan to stop Sartorius, but they can't figure one out. But Ami, Danielle, and Bastion come up with a plan to slow down Sartorius' plans. They've gathered all of the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow students that weren't brainwashed for a meeting in the woods and tries to organize them together, but the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow students are scared of organizing against the `White Dorm'. However, Jaden, showing surprising leadership skills and the aid of his friends, and Serena, with the aid of her friends, manages to convince them to `rise up' and organize together. They form a `student council' and when the `White Dorm' goes to Crowler's current office as Chancellor of Duel Academy to `enforce' their `strength' over Crowler, Jaden and the others arrive with a declaration of new school rules against the `White Dorm' that makes them unable to go into the Ra Yellow and Slifer Red `portions' of the school with their half of the school, the teachers, and the `security force' all in favor of the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow students. Seeing that he is totally powerless, Crowler, seeing his power as chancellor fade away to that of a `figurehead', has no choice, but to agree to the rules created by the alliance of Slifer Red and Ra Yellow students. However, this amounts to war between the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow dorms against the former Obelisk Blue dorm AKA the `White Dorm' and soon enough, the `white students' attack Ami and Bastion challenging them in a tag duel while Jaden has to deal with another student trying to make him `see the light'. However, what is most surprising is it was Alexis, not Sartorius or Chazz, that sent this duelist against him and Jaden finds out that she is desperate to make him join the Society of Light, even more than Chazz and Sartorius. Will Ami and Bastion beat the `White Duelists' sent against them? Why is Alexis so desperate to bring him into the Society of Light? Now, with the Academy split into two sides, who will win this `Civil War' inside of Duel Academy? Well, we will see in the next action-packed and duel packed chapter of Destiny Stars next time!
