Well, I'm really glad that the chapter proved a very good success. I'm glad that a lot of you liked it and thank you for sending those reviews giving your support. It is greatly appreciated and I hope to continue to live up to your standards as well as mine. Anyway, a reviewer or two have been sending me ideas in private e-mails that I'm taking into consideration and I'm actually developing plots for them, but you might not see them until later. Now, there are going to be plenty of Jaden/Alexis, Serena/Darien, and even some Atticus/Mina in this story. Anyway, it is time to see our Sun Princess and Queen of Obelisk Blue to rise again! Chapter 9: Shadows of the Sun

 

(Within the `White Dorm'; around two days since the tag duel)

 

Inside of the `White Dorm', we find Sartorius sitting down in front of the white table that contained his Tarot cards while two male white students give their reports about the tournament. However, the news wasn't good . . . for the Society of Light, anyway. Ever since Alexis, our recently revealed Sun Princess, and Chazz were freed by Jaden, our recently revealed Moon Prince, and Serena, Jaden's `royal sister' and our Moon Princess, the Society of Light was on a losing streak. By this time, they have already lost one-third of their remaining members and there might be more to come since with Chazz and Alexis gone, a vital part of the Society of Light's leadership is gone. Sartorius or the Light of Ruin as the entity possessing Sartorius' body is known, might have been the `spiritual' and top leader of the Society of Light, but Alexis and Chazz provided more vital leadership to Sartorius' followers and now, they were back on Jaden's and his friends' side. Today, the two white students still under Sartorius' control were giving their report to Sartorius.

 

When they were done, Sartorius says, in a plain tone, “I see. We have lost another group of our members to the non-believers.”

 

One of the male white students says, “Yes, Sartorius-sama. Now, our numbers have dropped by one-third of the number that we had before we lost Chazz and Alexis to Jaden Yuki and Serena Tsukino.”

 

Sartorius nods his head and says, “Thank you. You may leave me.”

 

The other male white student nods his head and says, “Yes, Master Sartorius.” The two white students then walk to the door, leave through the open doorway, and close the door behind them. Shortly after they have left, Sartorius slams his right fist onto the table.

 

Just then the voice of the real Sartorius echoes in his evil counterpart's thoughts, “Well, well. Destiny not going as planned, I see.”

 

The evil Sartorius roars out in anger, “Be silent! This is whole thing is entirely your fault!”

 

The real Sartorius replies within his evil counterpart's thoughts, “Well, I am glad. I knew that the Chosen Duelists would be able to prevent you getting that satellite. Plus, I am pleased to learn that Jaden Yuki has awakened his powers as the Moon Prince. I can tell . . . his abilities and power are growing even, thanks to the infusion of his ancient knowledge, memories, experiences, and powers from his day as the son of the mythical Moon Queen.And lately, I've noticed that you have been having a harder time reading the future.”

 

The evil Sartorius yells at the real Sartorius within his mind, “You do not know what you are talking about!”

 

The real Sartorius replies within his evil counterpart's thoughts, “You know exactly what I mean. When you read that Chazz and Alexis were destined to duel with Jaden and Serena, you were correct. However, you couldn't tell at all who would be the victor. The ability to tell Jaden's and Serena's future is getting harder and harder isn't it? With Jaden's ancient powers returning to him, his ability to overcome destiny is growing stronger and with Sailor Moon, the return of her brother from her days as the Moon Princess has brought her `other half' back to her. Most likely, it is both children of the moon that are bonded with the crystal and if Jaden can use the powers of darkness combined with the light of that crystal, you know that you won't be able to feed off of Sailor Moon's power anymore. Now, I can see that there is still hope left for me and the world. As long as Jaden, Serena, and Aster are still around, your destiny will fail!” The evil Sartorius, in control of his `weak side's' body, slams their fist into the table, splitting in half.

 

The evil Sartorius starts to laugh as a white glow surrounds his body and exclaims, with a sadist smile on his lips, “You fool! The three Chosen Duelists might have been able to slip out of Destiny's grasp here and there, but they can't escape it forever! Sooner or later, the three Chosen Duelists will be mine and all three of them will be destroyed! Now, I know the truth, you fool! Infused with the power to escape destiny and being the warriors of darkness, they are the light's greatest threat and now, I know in order to make the world see the light, they must finally perish! And they will!” The evil Sartorius gives off a loud evil cackle that could match Beryl, the possessed Doctor Tomoe, and the other evil leaders that the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts have faced before in sadistic and evil humor as the white glow from his body becomes more power.

 

(Late that morning; on that very same day on Academy Island)

 

In the late morning hours of that very same day, we find Tyranno, Syrus, Alexis, back in her Obelisk Blue uniform, Jasmine, Mindy, Serena, her royal sigil still on her forehead, Darien, Rini, Lita, Hotaru, Yugi, Atem, Joey, Tristan, Tea, and our feline guardians, Luna and Sol running towards another location. The others were on other parts of the island continuing to fight within the tournament, even Chazz. Jaden and Serena agreed to allowed Chazz and Alexis to stay in the tournament, through Chancellor Sheppard say that the match was in tournament rules, but the others managed to convince the Chancellor Sheppard to reconsider and call the tag team match a `special duel'. So, Chazz and Alexis were still in the tournament along with the rest of our heroes and heroines. However, this morning when they woke up early, they found that Jaden had gone missing and everyone split up to find him as well as continue to fight in duels against the Society of Light. Since Chazz and Alexis have been freed from Sartorius' control, our heroes and heroines along with the other students in the Academy have been making excellent progress against the Society of Light by reducing them by one-third of their number before the tag team duel. Anyway, soon enough, Syrus found him, but not in a situation he liked. Syrus raced off to find the others and he found the group previously mentioned and told them that Jaden was dueling against not one, but TWO white female students from the Society of Light by himself! Now, they race towards our Moon Prince, thinking he might be in mortal danger.

 

Jasmine exclaims, “He's dueling against two Society of Light duelists at once?! What is he thinking?!”

 

Joey says, plainly, “No joke! With Sartorius now out to kill him, not brainwash him, adding to the fact he is Serena's sister from her past life, he is more important to all of us than ever!”

 

Hotaru says, worriedly, “I hope that Jaden-ouji will be okay until we get to him.”

 

Serena says, with a smile, “I'm sure that Jaden is just fine, Serena.”

 

Rini asks, a bit annoyed tone, “And how would you know Serena?”

 

Serena yells at Rini, annoyed, “Because I am his sister! I know these things!”

 

Rini says, scoffing at her future mother, “Yeah, right! Makes me wonder where Uncle Jaden got his bad habits from!”

 

Serena shouts out, annoyed, “Watch it, half-pint!”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Jaden, what were you thinking? I really hope that you know what you are doing.”

 

Mindy says, plainly, “Sometimes I can't believe that's your future daughter, Serena.”

 

Jasmine says, in a plain tone, “I'm not surprised, through. The two of you look a lot like.”

 

Serena and Rini yell out in unison, “No way! We don't look anything alike!” Just then everyone arrives at the place where Jaden and the two female white students were dueling, a clear from a forest near a cliff at the edge of the island that goes down to the ocean, and what they find is incredibly shocking. Jaden, who also still has his royal sigil still on his forehead, has 7500 life-points still remaining on his score, Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) on the field, two cards face-down, and three cards in his hand. The two white students he was facing, on the other hand, were down to their last 1500 life-points, The Creator (2300/3000) and Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) on their side of the field, no face-down cards, and two cards in their hands each. Plus, it was the second female white students' turn and she was about to attack.

 

The white student calls out, “Cosmo Queen, destroy his Neos with Cosmic Nova!” Cosmo Queen fires a sphere of energy at Elemental Hero Neos and the attack rockets towards him.

 

Jaden calls out, “Not today, girls! I play my trap! Hero Barrier!” Jaden's face-down card is revealed to be the Hero Barrier trap card and Cosmo Queen's attack hits the barrier, negating it, and Jaden says, “Since I've got an Elemental Hero on the field, your attack is stopped!”

 

The female white student says, growling in annoyance and putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “All right, just go!”

 

Current Score:

Jaden: 7500

Two White Students: 1500

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck, looks at the card, and says, “Sweet. Time to end this duel!” Jaden's Field Spell slot on his duel disk opens and says, “First, I play my Field Spell! Neo-Space Two: Silver Millennium Kingdom!” The two girls gasp in shock as the Field Spell slot closes and the sky transforms into the aurora-color `skies' of Neo-Space, the field of white roses appears around the two duelists, and a `replica' of the Moon Kingdom appears behind Jaden, who's sigil is glowing brightly. Jaden then says, “Now, Elemental Hero Neos and all Neo-Spacians gain one thousand more attack points!” Elemental Hero Neos glows bright silver as his stats increase from 2500/2000 to 3500/2000! Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play the spell card Ties of the Brethren! With this, all I have to do is give up one thousand life-points and I can summon two monsters from my deck that are level four or weaker!” Jaden's life-points decrease by 1000, Jaden goes through his deck, takes out two cards, puts his deck back in his duel disk, puts the two cards on his duel disk, and calls out, “Now, I summon my Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab and Neo-Spacian Groun Mole!” Soon after, Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (500/500) and Neo-Spacian Groun Mole (900/300) come to the field in attack mode! Jaden then says, with a smile, “Plus, thanks to my Field Spell, they gain one thousand addition attack points!” Flare Scarab roars as he and Groun Mole glow as Flare Scarab's stats increase from 500/500 to 1500/500 and Groun Mole's stats increase from 900/300 to 1900/300! Jaden then says, “Plus, my Flare Scarab gains four hundred attack points for every spell and trap card on your side of the field and since you have one face-down, he gets even stronger!” Flare Scarab becomes covered in flames as his stats increase from 1500/500 to 1900/500!

 

The female white students were slightly shaking in fear and one of them says, trying to sound strong, “Yeah! So, what? They are weaker than our monsters!”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “I'm glad that you asked! Neos! Flare Scarab! Groun Mole! Triple Contact Fusion!” Just then Neos, Flare Scarab, and Groun Mole leap into the air with all three of them glowing in rainbow colors as the same time.

 

The heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Syrus says, amazed, “A triple fusion?!” Soon enough, the three monster cards are returned to Jaden's deck, Jaden takes a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, puts it on his duel disk, and three monster come together to be engulfed in a rainbow light.

 

Jaden shouts out, “Combine to form the Elemental Hero . . . Magma Neos!” Just then out of the bright light a monster that has Flare-Scarab's head, expect for the beetle-like horn, and Flare-Scarab's wings, Elemental Hero Groun Neos' upper chest, the left and right sides of the lower chest, and upper arms, the center of the lower chest/waist and upper legs looks exactly like Elemental Hero Neos' chest and upper legs areas, his kneecaps were exactly like Groun Neos' kneecaps, his lower legs and feet were like Flare Neos' lower legs, expect they were look black foots instead of insect-like feet, his lower right arm were a gantlet made of Neo-Spacian Groun Mole's claws with four long claws coming out of the front area of the gantlet, and his lower left arm and hand looks like it is made of molten rock with lava flowing through it. This shows that Elemental Hero Magna Neos (3000/2500) has arrived.

 

Darien says, shocked, “A new fusion monster!”

 

Lita says, amazed, “Awesome!”

 

Hotaru states, also amazed, “Incredible!”

 

Jaden then notices his friends and new girlfriend AKA Alexis Rhodes, smiles, and says, “Hey, guys! Glad to you can make it! `Cause I'm about to win this duel!”

 

One of the female white students says, “Oh, yeah! How so?”

 

Jaden turns back to look at them and says, still smiling, “That's because Elemental Hero Magma Neos gains four hundred attack points for every monster, spell, and trap card on the field! And I count six cards! And that means twenty-four hundred attack points! Now, that's a bonus!” Elemental Hero Magma Neos' stats then rise from 3000/2500 to 5400/2500! Jaden then says, “Plus, since Magma Neos was created from Neo-Spacians and Neos, he gains one thousand more attack points!” Elemental Hero Magma Neos' stats then rises from 5400/2500 to 6400/2500!

 

Tyranno shouts out, shocked, “Sam hill! That's one hell of a front line! He can win with one attack!”

 

Jaden then says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Next, I play my Elemental Hero Cosmic Neptune in attack mode!” Besides Magma Neos, a `creature' that looks similar to Sailor Neptune in her `first form' expect for a silver tiara, silver bodysuit, and aqua-marine high-heeled shoes, Elemental Hero Cosmic Neptune (1800/1400) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Aqua Mirror Equip Spell!” Soon after, an exact duplicate of Sailor Neptune's talisman, the Aqua Mirror, appears in Cosmic Neptune's right hand. Jaden then says, “Thanks to this card, my Neptune gains three hundred additional attack and defense points, but that's not all it can do!” Elemental Hero Cosmic Neptune's stats rise from 1800/1400 to 2100/1700! Jaden then says, “With this card, I can look one face-down on your side of the field and if it is a trap card, it is automatically destroyed!”

 

The two white students gasp in shock and one of them says, “You can't!”

 

Jaden shouts out, pointing to the face-down on his opponents' side of the field, “Oh, yes, I can! Neptune, Aqua Revelation! Show me what that face-down is!” Cosmic Neptune aims her mirror at the face-down card, the mirror begins to glow, and the face-down is revealed to be Magic Cylinder trap card, which was destroyed immediately. Jaden then says, “One card might be gone, but I've added two to the field, so, my Magma Neos has nearly seven thousand attack points!” Elemental Hero Magma Neos' stats are currently 6800/2500, thanks to its special ability! Jaden calls out, “Neos, end this duel! Attack their Cosmo Queen with Volcanic Neos Blaze!” Elemental Hero Magma Neos gathers flame energy into his left arm and launches a powerful assault of molten rocks and flames at Cosmo Queen, destroying it in a huge explosion, and cost the two white students 3900 life-points of damage, ending the duel immediately.

 

Final Score:

Jaden: 6500

White Students: 0

 

After the final holograms fade away, the two white students drop six medals between them and Jaden exclaims, with his usual smile, “That's game!” Soon after, the two female white students collapse and land on the ground on their backs. Jaden then goes over to the fallen white students, gathers the six medals, and says, “Whew! Another day, another sweet duel, and another batch of GX medals!”

 

A group comes towards him and Syrus shouts out, “Jaden!”

 

Jaden turns towards his friends, his beloved, and his sister and states, with his usual grin, “Hey, guys! Sweet duel, huh?!”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, “Jaden, what were you thinking by dueling those girls at once?! You could have been brainwashed like I was!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, in a reassuring tone, “Nah! Don't worry, `Lex, I'm not going to let myself get brainwashed by Light of Destruction's power.”

 

Luna tells Jaden, “Your majesty, you shouldn't be going off like this. Ever since you were revealed to be our prince and Sartorius . . . The Light of Destruction has decided that you are to be terminated instead of brainwashed, the danger for you is even greater than ever.”

 

Darien tells Jaden, “Luna's right, Jaden. You are very important to the safety as the universe. As one of the three duelists that can stop the Light of Destruction possessing Sartorius' body, you, Aster Phoenix, and Serena are needed to be kept safe until it is time for the three of you to face him.”

 

Atem tells Jaden, “Darien is right, Jaden. The Light of Ruin will not stop until you, Serena, and even Aster are destroyed.”

 

Jaden says, rubbing his head with his right hand, “Sorry, guys, I didn't mean to worry you by running off like that. I was just so hyped up today that I had to get out there and duel. I couldn't get any sleep at all.”

Mindy says, with a smile on her lips, “That isn't a surprise.”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “How many duel have you been in Jaden?”

 

Jaden goes into his rare `thinking mode' and says, “I don't know . . . This is my fifth duel since I woke up this morning.”

 

The group gasps in shock from Jaden's statement and Syrus exclaims, “You've already dueled five times this morning!”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, with his usual smile, “Yep! And I've been GX medals by the dozens! Look!” Jaden reaches into his pockets and brings out a small pile of medals in his two hands, much to the other's shock.

 

Tyranno exclaims, “Whoa, Sarge! You've been on a winning streak! Now, that's what I call the spoils of battle!”

 

Jaden puts all of the medals into his pockets and then says, “Oh, yeah. I did hear something from a few fellow Slifer duelists just a while ago.”

 

Jasmine asks Jaden, “What's that Jaden?”

 

Jaden replies, “Zane has recently arrived on Duel Academy.”

 

Syrus gasps in shock and asks, a bit nervously, “My brother?” Jaden nods his head and Syrus lets out a big sigh from that information.

 

Lita asks, “Isn't Zane the former top duelist in the school, the only duelist that Jaden didn't beat, and that pro duelist that lost his first duel against Aster Phoenix, went into slump, and returned to the top with a new `bad boy' look?”

 

Alexis tells Lita, “Yep. That's him, Lita. Syrus' older brother, Zane Truesdale. After that losing streak that he got into after his duel with Aster Phoenix, he returned with a darker look and had become a ruthless duelist. However, I do not anything beyond that since I've been under Sartorius' control until recently.”

 

Tyranno tells Alexis, “Well, Private Alexis, just after we saved Private Hotaru from that jerk's control, we found out from Chancellor Sheppard that Zane got himself some dangerous cards.”

 

Syrus says, solemnly, “The Deck of the Underworld.”

 

Alexis asks, perplexed, “Deck of the Underworld?”

 

Serena tells Alexis, “It is supposed to be a deck that's opposite of Zane's Cyber End Dragon deck and it is supposed to contain a dangerous power.”

 

Darien says, in a plain tone, “Zane Truesdale might be messing with forces beyond his understanding.”

 

Tea asks Atem, “Atem, do you think that Zane might be under the control of another evil force other than Sartorius?”

 

Atem shakes his head and says, “I can't be sure. We won't know until one of us confronts him.”

 

Yugi says, “And that's what worries Atem and me.”

 

Atem nods his head in agreement with his former Aibou and says, “Indeed. In Zane's current state of mind, it would be too dangerous for someone other than Yugi, Joey, Jaden, Serena, and myself to confront him. Who knows what kind of dark powers that Underworld deck contains?”

 

Tristan says, “Gives me the chills thinking about it.”

 

Hotaru then points to the two fallen white students and says, “Serena-hime, isn't it a good idea to get these two girls to the school infirmary or at least to Ami-chan or Danielle-chan to get them `checked over'?”

 

Lita says, “That's a good idea, Hotaru-chan.” Lita asks Tyranno, “Don't mind lending a hand, Hassleberry?”

 

Tyranno shakes his head and replies, with a smile, “Not a problem, ma'am!” Lita and Hassleberry put the two fallen female white students on their backs and all of them prepare to head off to the main building of Duel Academy to get them to the school infirmary.

 

On the meanwhile, Jaden goes over to Alexis and tells her, “Sorry to make you worry.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden in reply, “It's all right, Jaden. I know with you and duels. You can't wait to get out there. But you had better not get yourself either beaten or brainwashed by that freak because if you do, if you aren't dead, I will kill you myself.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Never.” Jaden then kisses Alexis on her left check causing her to gain some pink flush on her cheeks.

 

Alexis couldn't help to giggle at this and says, with a smile on her lips, “Oh, Jaden, you silly . . .” A wave of smiles comes from their friends and allies, knowing that this is a happy moment after much streets and terrible fighting.

 

(Within Chancellor Sheppard's Office; A brief time soon after)

 

Inside of Chancellor Sheppard's office, we find Atticus Rhodes standing in front of Chancellor Sheppard, who is sitting down in front of his desk. The two of them have serious looks on their faces and they look like they are in an important discussion.

 

Atticus tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Chancellor Sheppard, I'm real glad that you allowed my sister to stay in the tournament. Thank you.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, “Well, seeing it that Chazz and Alexis weren't in their right minds and Jaden and Serena were `forced' into this duel, I didn't see why this match didn't count in the tournament and recall my statement.”

 

Atticus tells Chancellor Sheppard, in a serious tone, “However, you need to talk to me about something important or you wouldn't have called me here.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Atticus, in a plain tone, “Yes, let me get to the point. Recently, Zane Truesdale has arrived on the island and as you and your friends already know, he has gotten his hands on a very dangerous deck.”

 

Atticus says, nodding his head, “The Underworld Deck.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Atticus, “It is the opposite to Zane's Cyber Dragon Deck and it is very dangerous. I'm in the opinion that some kind of evil force other than Sartorius or the Light of Destruction as he is really called. Since you are one of his best friends, I need for you to beat him in a duel or try to reason with him. I'm afraid that if keeps that deck with him for too long, it will consume him.”

 

Atticus tells Chancellor Sheppard, “You can't count on my help, Chancellor.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Atticus, “Thank you, Atticus. Our surveillance system has found Zane waiting by the harbor and he hasn't moved from there for a while.”

 

Atticus tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Thanks for the tip, Chancellor Sheppard.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Atticus, “Good luck, Atticus.”

 

Atticus turns away towards the door and thinks in his mind, “I'm going to need it. If Zane is being controlled by the shadows, there might be only one way to get to him and it might be dangerous for both of us.” Soon after, Atticus goes through the sliding doors and head towards the hallway.

 

However, he only gets around three feet away from the door when a familiar female voice calls out, “Hi, Atticus-sempai!” Just then Atticus looks slightly to his left to see Mina, in her Ra Yellow uniform and duel disk attached to her left arm, walking towards him.

 

Atticus asks, a bit surprised, “Hey, Mina! Aren't you supposed to be looking for Jaden with the others?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a smile, “Actually, Serena called me that they already found him. He had beaten two female members of the Society of Light by himself in his fifth duel this morning.”

 

Atticus says, pretty amazed, “Whoa! That's amazing!”

 

Mina tells Atticus, in her excited tone, “I know Atticus-sempai. However, he isn't Serena's brother for nothing.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, “Well, I'm pretty amazed to learn that Jaden has a twin sister, much less being the reincarnation of an alien prince.”

 

Mina tells Atticus, “As well as your sister being the reincarnation of his lost love.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with his usual smile, “Not so much, Mina. You see, I knew that Jaden and my little sis had a thing for each other. However, Jaden was unsure how to express his feelings with his expertise being dueling and not romance and my sis was too proud to admit it being the strong and quite stubborn person that she is. But I'm really glad that those two are together.”

 

Mina nods her head and says, “Same here, Atticus-sempai.”

 

Atticus asks Mina, “By the way, Mina, how are you doing in the tournament?”

 

Mina exclaims, in her excited tone, “Great! Took a look!” Mina then takes a handful of medals out of her left pocket and Atticus gives a smile about this.

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a wide smile, “That's great, Mina! If you keep this up, you will give my sister a run for her money for sure!”

 

Mina tells Atticus, “Oh, you are just kidding me.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a smile, “No way, Mina! You are quite a talented duelist yourself, Mina. If you keep up like this, you will become a great duelist.”

 

Mina gives a slight blush and tells Atticus, “Thank you, Atticus-sempai. I want to become a good duelist because I really want to become a pop star, but if you are anyone, you've got to be in the world of Duel Monsters and I really love this game!”

 

Atticus asks Mina, “A pop star?”

 

Mina nods her head and says, with her usual smile and excited tone, “Yep! It is one of my dreams to become an international and famous pop star!”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with his wide smile, “Well, I'm sure that you would make a great one, Mina. You are very talented. I heard you sing one time.”

 

Mina asks Atticus, with a blush in her cheeks, “You . . . heard me sing?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a warm smile, “Yep. It was shortly after I had found out that you and your friends were the Sailor Scouts. You were practicing singing by yourself and I overheard. I've got to say that you have a beautiful singing voice.” Atticus and Mina then blush after that.

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a bright blush on her cheeks, “T-Thank you, Atticus-sempai.”

 

Atticus replies, a bit nervously, “No problem, Mina.”

 

Mina then asks Atticus, “Atticus-sempai, what were you doing at Chancellor Sheppard's office?”

 

Atticus clears his throat and says, “Some . . . personal business, that's all.”

 

Mina asks Atticus, concerned, “Are you sure?”

 

Atticus tries to give the best smile he can and replies, trying to sound calm, “Yep. Don't worry about it. It will be all taken care of.” Atticus then slowly walks away from Mina, who can't stop looking at him with concern because she is getting a bad feeling that Atticus isn't telling the truth.

 

(In the early afternoon hours; In front of the Slifer Red dorms)

 

Back in front of the Slifer Red dorms, we find Jaden, Alexis, Bastion, Tyranno, Blair, Syrus, Darien, the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, Yugi, Atem, Joey, Tristan, and Tea along with the four guardian felines, Luna, Atriums, Hyperion, and Sol assembled around Ami and Danielle, who are doing something with their sailor computers.

 

Danielle then says, “Well, from what we know, the Society of Light has lost around one-third of its members since we got Chazz and Alexis back from the Light of Destruction's control.”

 

Rei says, with a sigh, “That's good news. The less followers that alien freak has, the easier it will allow us to get to him with him using his brainwashed followers as shields.”

 

Atriums states, “Indeed. The Light of Destruction might be powerful on its own, but one of its strengths comes from how many people are under its control. With more people free from his brainwashing, it makes our mission to defeat it much easier.”

 

Tristan states, “That's good to know. Soon enough, that freaky alien from outer space will be sent down the black hole he came from!”

 

Tea tells Tristan, “One, Tristan, that `thing', the Light of Destruction, came from a `white hole' not a black hole. And two, you might want to calm down on the `alien comments' because if you had forgotten, even through Jaden, Alexis, and both teams of Sailor Scouts were reborn here on Earth, they don't exactly come from here.”

 

Tristan blushes in embarrassment and says, “Oops! My bad!”

 

Jaden tells Tristan, “No big, Tristan! I'm sure that you didn't mean anything by it!”

 

Atem tells Tea, “Tea, even through the Sailor Scouts, Jaden, and Alexis originally came from outer space, their souls anyway, they were still reborn here on Earth and technically, they are still Earthlings like you or me.”

 

Tea blushes in embarrassment and says, “Oh, yeah! Oops!”

 

Syrus says, in a bit of a nervous tone, “You know, I was thinking . . .”

 

Jaden asks Syrus, “What is it, Syi?”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “Maybe you, Alexis, and the Sailor Scouts aren't the only people from the Silver Millennium. On the day that we met, I had this weird feeling that you and I met before even through we didn't meet until the day that you and I took exam to get into Duel Academy. So, do you think a few more of us could be reincarnations of friends that you had from your `past life'?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “Now, that you say that Syi . . . it could be possible. Actually, I had a lot of friends back on the Moon Kingdom. I wasn't your regular stuck-up type royal, but then again, neither was my mom or Serenity. I've always tried to show my fellow Lunarians that I was like one of them even through I was the son of Queen Serenity and until Serenity became engaged to Prince Endymon, co-heir to the throne.”

 

Ami asks Serena, “Serena, Jaden was heir to the throne with you until you were engaged to Darien back in the Silver Millennium?”

 

Serena nods her head and says, “Yeah, Ami. Jaden and I were born exactly at the same time. We came out of mom's `stomach' exactly the same time, which surprised practically everyone. Because even with twins, usually one twin comes out a little earlier or a little later, depending on which twin, than the other. But Jaden and I were born on the same day, same hour, same minute, and same second.”

 

Bastion exclaims, shocked, “That's unbelievable! That event ever happening is like thousands to one!”

 

Serena then says, “Not only that, it wasn't just me that the Silver Crystal bonded to. The Silver Crystal actually bonded to my soul and Jaden's soul equally, but it would only drain the life-energy of the twin that used the crystal, not both, but Jaden can use the power of the crystal as much as I can. However, doesn't matter which twin uses it, if the crystal shatters, Jaden and I will both die.”

 

Tyranno states, plainly, “Hold on a minute, ma'am! Are you saying that if that little crystal that you use as Sailor Moon ever breaks, the Sarge and you will get your lives snuffed out?!”

 

Jaden tells Tyranno, a bit solemnly, “Yeah. The Silver Crystal bonds to every blood member of the Moon Kingdom royal family, male or female. It is the source of our power, but it is also the same thing that gives us our long lives and practically perfect health. If it `goes out', our life-force won't only be gone, our very souls will be gone. Namely, even through my body will be here, it will be a soulless shell. I . . . just won't exist anymore and neither would Serena.”

 

Blair says, a bit fearfully, “Scary.”

 

Alexis tells Blair, “No joke, Blair. It is the same as my crystal. My Imperium Sun Crystal was made in a very similar fashion to Serena's Imperium Silver Crystal, but since it is infused with the powers of Life instead of Light like Serena's Silver Crystal, my crystal has the ability to be more powerful. However, it comes with the same weaknesses. If I use too much of its power, I will use up my life-force and I'll die. And if it shatters, my own soul will shatter, leaving my body a soulless shell.”

 

Lita then asks, “Okay, but what is with this Jaden and Serena being co-heirs to the Moon Kingdom throne?”

 

Trista tells Lita, “You don't know about this part since only Serena, Jaden, Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy regained the majority of their memories from the Silver Millennium. Anyway, because of this `unusual birth' and the Silver Crystal bonded to both twins equally, there was no way to tell who should be the rightful heir to the throne. Moon Kingdom law degreed that the eldest child, male or female, would be the heir to the throne to the Moon Kingdom, but since both Jaden and Serena were born exactly at the same time, down to the millisecond, Queen Serenity made Prince Judai and Princess Serenity co-heirs to the throne until one of the children was engaged. However, neither child became rivals for the throne and actually, they grew up close as any brother and sister can be. Prince Judai and Princess Serenity, as you may have thought, never wanted or desired power and were as purest beings in universe as humanoid beings can be. Only when Princess Serenity engaged to Prince Endymon first was Princess Serenity chosen as the first heir to the throne and Prince Judai would become the heir to the throne if anything happened to Serenity, through their mother, Prince Judai, Prince Endymon, and the people of the Moon hoped that would never happen.”

 

Jasmine says, “No kidding.”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, “But Trista-mama, do you think it is possible that some of Jaden-ouji's friends from his life in the Moon Kingdom that were reborn on Earth are here in Duel Academy?”

 

Trista tells Hotaru, “It is very possible, Firefly. However, the only reasons why would remind us of the enemy that we are facing.”

 

Mindy says, “Yeah. The less I hear about that freak, the Light of Destruction or whatever, the better. He already gave us enough headaches.”

 

Jasmine states, in a serious tone, “No joke, Mindy. But when we finish him off, we won't have to think about that freak of nature any longer!”

 

Syrus says, plainly, “Easier said than done. I mean he blew all of you girls and your attacks away like nothing.”

 

Jasmine groans out, annoyed, “Thanks for reminding us, Syi.”

 

Syrus winches and says, solemnly, “Sorry.”

 

Rei tells Syrus, “You don't need to be. I hate to admit it, but Syrus is right. All of us tried to blast the Light of Ruin away and he threw us like rag dolls! How are we supposed to combat that?!”

 

Amara replies, plainly, “We can't attack him one on one and double teaming him won't work.”

 

Michelle says, in a plain tone, “Our only chance might be to combine our powers at the same time and hit him with a united attack.”

 

Ami states, in her logical tone, “The problem is that it will take a few moments to combine our powers into one force and that leaves us open for attack.”

 

Reece says, plainly, “The Light of Destruction is no idiot. Even if we, Zodiacs, try to hold him back for you to gather your power, we might not be able to hold him back long enough for all of you to attack.”

 

Jaden says, “Hold on, girls! We have to consider something else! Remember, the Light of Destruction is possessing Sartorius' body! Sartorius is innocent and use being used by the light for its own selfish ends.”

 

Serena nods her head and says, “Jaden has a good point. The real Sartorius is innocent and the only `evil one' is the evil persona created by the Light of Destruction.”

 

Atem states, in a serious tone, “Serena and Jaden have good points. The real Sartorius is just a pawn for the Light of Destruction sick plans to brainwash our planet. We need to find a way to expel the Light of Destruction from his body before we destroy it. If we kill Sartorius just to destroy the Light of Ruin, we are no better than that evil force from outer space.”

 

Joey asks Atem, “So, what do you purpose to do, Atem?”

 

Atem looks at Jaden and Serena and says, “There is only one way to save Sartorius from the Light of Destruction. Jaden and Serena must save Sartorius the same way that Yugi and I saved Marik from his evil side. They must defeat the Light of Destruction in a duel.”

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “No insult to you, Atem, but how is dueling that freak going to separate him from Sartorius' body?”

 

Trista tells Mina, “Remember, Duel Monsters is linked the ancient Shadow Games of millennia past in ancient Egypt. In fact, you must remember the fact that Maxamillion Pegasus created the game based on the ancient Shadow Games and all of its rules, so, Duel Monsters have a connection to ancient mystical powers. From the information that we have, the Light of Destruction actually possessed Sartorius through a Duel Monster's card, the one that Aster created. Back in the Shadow Games of ancient Egypt, when two people fought in a duel, they usually, through not necessary, lose everything if they lose that duel. Atem can agree with me on this information and plus, he can agree that Duel Monsters might be a more modern and `tame' version of the Shadow Games, they follow much of the following `rules' of the ancient Shadow Games. In a duel against the Light of Destruction, if Jaden and Serena dueled against the Light of Destruction and won. Ancient edict must say that the Light of Destruction must give up everything, including Sartorius' body, because the stakes of the duel are a lot more than just losing one `match'.”

 

Rei says, “So, the fate of the world will depend on one Duel Monsters' match.”

 

Trista tells Rei, “Even through we can't be certain, it will most likely be the case. In order to defeat Light of Ruin, we will need to follow the ancient rules of the Shadow Games through the modern day version of the games: Duel Monsters.”

 

Jaden holds up his duel disk and says, with a smile, “Well, that's no problem with me. I'm psyched up for that match! That's the kind of challenge I was looking for all year!”

 

Alexis says, with a smile, “Same old, Jaden! The fate of the universe is on the line and all he can do is smile!”

 

Tyranno then states, “So, what are our battle plan soldiers?”

 

Just then as if to answer Tyranno's question, a familiar male voice calls out, “Hey, Slacker!”

 

Jasmine says, “Uh oh. That sounds familiar.”

 

Mindy nods her head and says, “Yep.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines turn around to see Chazz, in his black uniform, with every single non-brainwashed member of Duel Academy from Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, and Obelisk Blue behind him.

 

Jaden states, curiously, “Hey, Chazz, what are you doing with nearly the whole school with you?”

 

Chazz says, in his usual tone, “Bah! All of them were pestering me about you, Slifer Slacker!”

 

Jaden asks, perplexed, “Me?”

 

Chazz points to Jaden and says, in his classic annoyed tone, “Yeah, you! Is there another Jaden Yuki on this island?! They wanted to know the full details about what happened in Obelisk Arena during our tag duel between you and that Serena girl and me and Alexis. I told them two things: One, I wasn't that Slacker's keeper! And two, I said how the hell should I know?! I still barely remember anything ever since I met that freak Sartorius in the woods after you went missing!” Chazz then says, getting a bit of a dreaming look, “Through I would like to remember the part where Alexis and I side by side . . .”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, scoffing at him, “Get a life, Chazz-ball! Alexis is with Jaden and that's that! So, if you can't accept that she's with Jaden then why don't you get yourself brainwashed again not to remember it.”

 

Syrus says, with a sly smile, “That might not be a good idea, Jasmine. If Light of Destruction brainwashes him again, it might destroy what little brain he has left.”

 

Chazz roars out, in pure anger, “I heard that, half-pant! You are so going to get it!” Chazz runs over to pound Syrus in and Syrus runs for his life to get away from Chazz.

 

As Syrus is running away from Chazz, Syrus exclaims, fearfully, “HHHHEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP!” Needless to say, the group of heroes and heroines sweatdrop at this event.

 

Bastion then says, “Well, needless to say, Chazz has returned totally back to normal . . . if you can call him normal.”

 

Alexis rolls her eyes and says, “No kidding, Bastion.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines look back at the group of non-brainwashed Duel Academy students.

 

Blair asks, nervously, “How are we going to handle this one?”

 

Tea takes a deep breath, swallows it, and says, “Wish I had an answer.”

 

Jaden steps forward and asks, a bit nervously, “Can we help all of you?”

 

Ashley comes forward and tells Jaden, “Yeah, Jaden Yuki, we would like to know what the hell happened during that duel against Chazz and Alexis that you and Serena were in. One minute, you and Serena were battling for your lives and the next minute, you activate some kind of new Field Spell card that transforms you and that girl into some kind of outer space prince and princess. And next, soon after, you had that new fusion monster of yours attack, we found ourselves what looked like the moon because some of us saw the Earth from where we were. And finally, those new female students and female teachers were revealed to be the Sailor Scouts and Jasmine and Mindy turned into new Sailor Scouts that we never heard of before in order to fight Sartorius, how you said was some kind of alien freak. Plus, Alexis transformed into some kind of alien princesses as well. We want some answers, Jaden Yuki, and we want them now. And don't give us any grief, we know that it wasn't some kind of dream because we would all have to be dreaming at the same time.” Ashley then points to Jaden's forehead and says, “Plus, you and Serena are having those golden crescent moon marks on your foreheads and we know they aren't tattoos because tattoos don't just appear out of nowhere.”

 

Jaden covers his forehead along with his royal mark and says, nervously, “Yipe. I was hoping that you would all forget or at least think it was some kind of hallucination.”

 

Bastion whispers to Jaden, lowly, “Maybe we can convince them that it was a hallucination. The chances of that would be low, but it might be our best bet.”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, “I don't think that would work, Bastion.” Jaden looks at him with a serious and strong look in his eyes not seen before, a commanding type of look, and says, “We exposed ourselves. It is our fault and we have to take responsibility for our actions. We understood that as soon as that tag duel ended.”

 

Bastion tells Jaden, “But Jaden . . .!”

 

Jaden tells Bastion and his friends in a serious tone, “Look, Bastion, I'm glad on how you are trying to help Serena, Alexis, the girls, and I, but the facts are the facts. We exposed ourselves, they saw us, and they deserve an explanation. Plus, many of them trusted since we were the ones that organized them against the Society of Light in order to stop them from taking over the school remember? They trusted us and we have to trust them.”

 

Rei asks, curiously, “Should we allow Jaden to do this?”

 

Serena tells Rei, sounding more like her `former self' as Princess Serenity, “Rei, Jaden is right. We knew that this would happen after that duel ended and we battled the Light of Destruction in the ruins of the Moon Kingdom. They have founded us out and now, we must face the consequences of what we did.”

 

Lita tells Serena, “But Serena . . .!”

 

Serena replies, in a kind, but more commanding tone, “Look, I don't wish to raise my voice or forcing you, but I am asking for cooperation from all of you. However, I will order it from all of you. Is that understood?”

 

Darien and the girls are surprised by Serena's stronger tone, which is totally unlike her before, and Darien says, “I will do anything that you ask of me, Serena.” The girls nod their heads in agreement with their princess' wishes.

 

Alexis tells the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, “Same for you, girls, too.”

 

“Right!” the seven Zodiac Sailor Scouts say in unison.

 

Ashley asks, a bit annoyed, “I hate to be rude, but are we going to get some answers or not?”

 

Jaden tells the group, in a calm, collected, and diplomatic tone, which is totally un-like him, “Yes, you will. If you just calm down and please listen to what we have to say, we'll tell you everything.” The student's eyes widen in shock because Jaden had just spoken in a tone that was totally unlike him before now. Needless to say anything else, this brought every student's ears to attention and their mouths shut. Soon after, Jaden and Serena with some help from Trista, Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy explain the story of the Silver Millennium, the Moon and Sun Kingdoms, the end of the Silver Millennium, and what these events in the past mean today as well as the situation with Sartorius and the Light of Destruction. When they were done, to say that the group of students was impressed is a major understatement.

 

Ashley then states, stunned and perplexed, “So, Serena Tsukino is Sailor Moon, but in actual truth, she is the reincarnation of an alien princess from a kingdom on our moon, the Sailor Scouts are reincarnated alien princesses from other alien kingdoms from the other planets in the Solar System, and Jaden Yuki is her brother? Plus, Alexis, Jasmine, and Mindy are also Sailor Scouts and reincarnated alien princesses from another bunch of outer space kingdoms. And all of you were reborn here on Earth when thousands of years ago an evil force from outer space came and destroyed all of these kingdoms, killing all of you with them, but this Queen Serenity, Jaden's and Serena's `first mom' sacrificed her own life in order to send all of you and her people to Earth to be reborn for a peaceful life.”

 

Jaden tells Ashley, “Well, that's about the short end of it.” Jaden then states, “However, if you don't believe our words, you may believe our memories.”

 

Ashley asks, curiously, “What do you mean by that?”

 

Jaden asks Serena, “Serena, do you think you can . . .?”

 

Serena nods her head at some kind of agreement and says, “Sure.” Serena takes out her brooch from her sub-space pocket, puts it into her two palms, and it begins to glow with strong bright silver light. Soon after, Serena's uniform transforms into a white and gold dress, a pair of huge and fluffy angel wings come out of her back, and her brooch fades away, leaving the Imperium Silver Crystal in its place. Serena has just transformed into Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom before everyone's eyes and then she baths Jaden Yuki in the glow of the Silver Crystal causing him to transform into Prince Judai Serenity of the Moon Kingdom as well. Prince Judai and Princess Serenity put their palms in front of the Imperium Silver Crystal and close their eyes tightly. This causes the Silver Crystal to glow brighter than ever before.

 

Darien asks, a bit worriedly, “What are they doing?”

 

Trista tells Darien, “It is a memory recall spell. They will use the power of the Silver Crystal to project their memories for all of us to see. However, I am not sure which memories that they will use.” The question is finally answered when the area in front of the Slifer dorms transforms into the surface on the moon at the end of the Moon Kingdom. Just then explosions and sounds of battle are heard and everyone, minus the two Moon royals, look to see the destruction of the Moon Kingdom playing or replaying, depending on who are talking about, before their eyes.

 

Alexis says, with a solemn and shocked look in her expression, “The destruction of the Moon Kingdom.”

 

Just then Prince Judai's voice calls out from nearby, “Flame Wingman, Inferno Rage!” Everyone looks to the source of the voice, they see a whole group of youma being blasted by Elemental Hero Flame Wingman with Prince Judai behind it and its right side with the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, all of their uniform similar to the Sailor Scouts' `classic' forms, and another Sailor Scout wearing a golden and white fuku with a sword that has a silver hilt with a red and gold sun mark on the hilt and a golden blade with some kind of ancient markings engraved on it and looking like Princess Arinna, Alexis' `royal form', behind him.

 

The Sailor Scout with the golden and white fuku tells Prince Judai, in Princess Arinna's voice, “Judai! Wait!”

 

The Memory Prince Judai tells the Sailor Scouts, “I can't, Arinna! My sister and mother are in there! Beryl is after them! They need my help! If we can use the Silver Crystal together, we can stop them!”

 

The Memory Sailor Aries gasps and exclaims, shocked, “Are you nuts?! You know that if you use its crystal's full power, it will kill you!”

 

The Memory Prince Judai tells the Memory Sailor Aries, “We've got to try! If we don't, the Negaverse is going to win and the universe will be lost!” Just then three more youma sneak up on Prince Judai and roar as they charge towards him. Memory Prince Judai yelps in surprise and exclaims, nervously, “Oh boy!” Just then the Sailor Scout with the golden and white fuku moves in and destroys all three youma with a powerful assault of solar energy. The Memory Prince Judai tells the Sailor Scouts, with a smile, “Thanks, Arinna!”

 

Just then Beryl's voice call out, “How touching! The Moon Prince and Sun Princess!” Everyone, including the memory images, look to the source of the voice to see Queen Beryl of the Negaverse floating above them, looking towards the Memory Images of Prince Judai, the Sailor Scout with the golden and white fuku, and the Memory Zodiac Sailor Scouts.

 

Jasmine says, disgusted, “Yuck! That's one memory I wish I didn't remember.”

 

Mindy nods her head and says, “You and me both, Jasmine.”

 

Memory Prince Judai calls out, “Beryl! You won't get away with this!”

 

Memory Queen Beryl points to her left and exclaims, in a dark tone with an evil smirk, “Ha, Prince Judai! I already have! Look!” Memory Prince Judai and the Memory Sailor Scouts, along with the real people, look to their left and Memory Prince Judai and the Memory Sailor Scouts with him gasp as they see the lifeless bodies of Princess Serenity and Prince Endymon floating into the dark void created by the Negaverse. Memory Queen Beryl exclaims, evilly, “You are too late! You're sister is already gone and Prince Endymon, valiantly, tried to save his beloved Moon Princess, but he failed and died along with her!”

 

The Sailor Scout with the gold and white fuku exclaims, in Princess Arinna's voice enraged, “You demon! You already destroyed my kingdom, killed the rest of my family, especially forcing my mother to use our kingdom's treasure to send my people to Earth to be reborn at the costing her life and now, you destroyed Judai's kingdom! I swear that you will pay for this, Beryl!”

 

Memory Queen Beryl exclaims, “Your boasts don't scare me, Sailor Sun! You might be one of the most powerful Sailor Senshi around, but you are nowhere near my power!”

 

Memory Prince Judai shouts out, in a strong tone, “How about this then, Beryl?! Flame Wingman, Inferno Rage!” Flame Wingman launches a blast of fiery energy from its right dragon-head arm right at Queen Beryl, but she easily negates the attack with one jester from her right hand. Prince Judai exclaims, in disbelief, “No way!”

 

Memory Queen Beryl roars out, “You think you stupid personal Shadow Creature can stop me?! Let see it handle this!” Memory Queen Beryl sends a wave of dark lightning at Flame Wingman and it roars out as it is destroyed. Memory Prince Judai cries out in pain and falls to his knees in pain.

 

Memory Sailor Sun shouts out, horrified, “Judai!” She quickly knees over to help him, but Memory Queen Beryl forms a black crystal and launches it right at both of them.

 

Memory Sailor Aries shouts out, “Look out!” Memory Sailor Aries pushes Memory Sailor Sun and Memory Prince Judai out of the way only to get impaled by the black crystal right through her chest.

 

Memory Sailor Sun and Memory Zodiac Sailor Scouts shout out in unison, “Jasmine!” Memory Sailor Aries falls to her knees, as blood pooled out from her wounds, she coughs out some blood from her mouth, and soon after, she begins to fall back as her life fades from her.

 

Memory Sailor Aries coughs out, as she breathed her last, “Run . . . Arinna . . . Get out of here . . . Sorry, I can't be here for you . . . anymore . . .” Memory Sailor Aries then falls down to the ground on her back and slowly closes her eyes for good. Memory Prince Judai and Memory Sailor Sun look at Memory Queen Beryl with looks of anger and determination in their eyes.

 

Memory Prince Judai shouts out, “You monster!”

 

Memory Queen Beryl says, darkly and with an evil sly smile on her lips, “Thank you. Now, it is time for the end!” Queen Beryl then snaps her fingers and out of nowhere, dozens of youma come out from under the control and attack the Memory Zodiac Sailor Scouts.

 

Memory Sailor Sun shouts out, horrified, “Girls!”

 

Memory Sailor Libra shouts out, “Arinna, get out of here! Run away before . . .!!” Those were her last words when a youma rammed a sword right through her heart causing her to cough blood from her mouth, but Sailor Libra with the last of her power and breath, destroys the youma, and the collapses to the ground, dead, as her blood pools across the ground. Soon after, the rest of the Memory Zodiac Sailor Scouts are killed one by one.

 

Memory Queen Beryl asks Memory Sailor Sun, tauntingly, “Ah, is the little princess sacred because her guardians are dead?”

 

Memory Sailor Sun draws her sword and exclaims, enraged, “They were my best friends in the universe and you will pay for their deaths!” Memory Sailor Sun then cries out, “Solar Flare Elimination!” Memory Sailor Sun fires a powerful beam of solar energy at Memory Queen Beryl, who cries out in pain when the attack hits her, but when the smoke and dust cleared, Queen Beryl was badly burned in the chest, however, she still has as much power as ever.

 

Memory Queen Beryl yells out, enraged, “How dare you strike me?! I am Queen Beryl, Queen of the Negaverse, and no one dares hurt me! You shall pay this insult with your life!” Memory Queen Beryl creates a long black crystal and launches it at Memory Sailor Sun.

 

Memory Prince Judai gets in front of her and shouts out, “Arinna, watch out!” The black crystal then goes through Memory Prince Judai's back, out through his chest, enters Memory Sailor Sun's chest, and out through her back, impaling them both. The two of them cough blood out of their mouths and both of them collapse to their left sides. Memory Prince Judai coughs out, “Sorry . . . Arinna . . .”

 

Memory Sailor Sun pushes herself forward, even through it makes more of the black crystal go through her chest, until she gets in front of Memory Prince Judai's face and she asks him, “You . . . *cough* . . . goofball . . . why did you do that . . .?”

 

Memory Prince Judai replies, with his dying breaths, “Why . . . not . . .?”

 

Memory Sailor Sun smiles at Memory Prince Judai and says, warmly, “At least . . . we will be together . . .”

 

Memory Prince Judai groans out, with his dying breaths, “Yeah . . . Through I wished we could had a bit of part that cake at that party before we went . . .” Memory Sailor Sun gives a weak giggle from Memory Prince Judai's `statement' and the two of them share one more kiss before their lives fade away. Soon after, Memory Sailor Sun's body transforms into Memory Princess Arinna's lifeless form and then Queen Serenity's scream of horror is heard. Everyone looks to see Memory Queen Serenity, in total tears, as she sees her son and his beloved slain by Queen Beryl.

 

Memory Queen Beryl laughs at Memory Queen Serenity evilly and exclaims, triumphantly, “First, you've lost your daughter and now, your son and her princess have joined her! I have taken everything from you, Serenity! Your kingdom, your people, and your family are lost! All is lost!”

 

Memory Queen Serenity, with tears streaming down her eyes, says, “You might have taken everything from me, Beryl, but you will not take my family's future away from them.” Memory Queen Serenity then puts the Imperium Silver Crystal in the Crescent Moon Wand and prepares to use the power of the crystal.

 

Memory Luna exclaims, horrified, “Your majesty! You can't!”

 

Memory Queen Serenity says, in soft, yet, strong and determined tone, “I'm sorry, Luna, but I must. For my people's . . . For all our people's and my family's future . . . I must . . . It is the only way . . .” The Memory Imperium Silver Crystal glows brightly on the Memory Crescent Moon Wand and Memory Queen Serenity says, lowly, “In the name of the moon . . . and in the name of the future . . .” Memory Queen Serenity then shouts out, in a strong tone, “Cosmic Moon Power!” Soon after, Imperium Silver Crystal glows in a bright light and Memory Queen Beryl screams as she, her youma, and the four generals were bathed in the bright light of the Silver Crystal.

 

Memory Queen Beryl shouts out, in horror, “No . . . This can't be . . . I will return Serenity . . . Mark my words . . . YOUR FAMILY WILL SUFFER FOR THIS . . . THE UNIVERSE WILL BELONG TO THE NEGAVERSE . . . I SHALL RETURN . . . AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH . . .!!” Soon after, everything was bathed in bright light, forcing everyone, but the Moon twins, to cover their eyes. When the light fades away, Memory Queen Beryl and her forces were gone, but the Moon Kingdom was in ruins. Soon after, we find Memory Queen Serenity, dying, lying down on a pillar, with the Imperium Silver Crystal in one hand and the Crescent Moon Wand in the other.

 

Memory Luna and Memory Atriums run up to the fallen Queen and Memory Luna says, “Your majesty, you did it!”

 

Memory Queen Serenity says, weakly and holding up the Imperium Silver Crystal, “Yes, I have sealed them away . . . within the crystal . . . And I have sent our people . . . my children . . . their guardians and friends . . . my children's beloveds . . . the Sun Princess' guardians . . . to a new life on Earth . . . They will never remember this wonderful time . . . and I pray that this will never happen . . . But if you need to . . . awaken them once more if evil should ever arise to terrorize the innocent . . . I need you to guild them . . . Promise me that you will . . .”

 

Memory Atriums says, weakly, “We promise . . .” Memory Queen Serenity looks up into the sky, sees her daughter, Princess Serenity, beside her beloved, Prince Endymon, as well as her son, Prince Judai, beside his beloved, Princess Arinna, as the Imperium Sun Crystal absorbs into her body and goes into dormancy.

 

Memory Queen Serenity says, with her dying words, “In the name of the moon . . . please be happy . . . I will love you . . . forever . . . my Judai . . . and my Serenity . . . One day . . . we will be reunited . . . But until that day . . . even if through you won't remember me for many years . . . know that my love is always with you . . . Farewell . . .” Memory Queen Serenity slowly closes her eyes, her body becomes limp and pale, and she finally dies, letting the Crescent Moon Wand fall from her lifeless hand.

 

Memory Luna and Memory Atriums cry out in horror, “Queen Serenity!” Soon after, the Crescent Moon Wand lands on the ground, gives off a bright glow, and Memory Luna and Memory Atriums were put into two capsules that went after the rest of the orbs in the sky containing the lifeless forms of the Moon Kingdom's people, Princess Serenity, Prince Endymon, Prince Judai, Princess Arinna, and the Zodiac Sailor Scouts. Soon after, the images quickly fade away, returning to in front of the Slifer Dorm, and Prince Judai and Princess Serenity fall to their knees, totally exhausted, with the Imperium Silver Crystal in her hands.

 

Darien goes over to Princess Serenity and asks her, worriedly, “Are you all right, Serenity?”

 

Princess Serenity smiles warmly at Darien and replies, “Yes, love. It's just that took a lot of energy out of Judai and myself.”

 

Prince Judai says, holding his head, “Wow. I had forgotten how much the ginzuishou can take it out of a guy.” Prince Judai asks Bastion, “How did everyone else take our memories?”

 

Bastion looks over at the stunned crowds of students and says, with a slight smile on his lips, “To say that least, Jaden, you did make a major impression.”

 

For a few minutes, the students couldn't say a word and then Ashley asks Alexis, coming out of her stupor, “Alexis, was that . . . for real?”

 

Alexis tells Ashley, “How can you say that, Ashley? Of course, it was for real. This is what happened to Jaden and me thousands of years ago at the end of the Silver Millennium. Our kingdoms . . . Our homes were destroyed, our people massacred, and all of the civilizations formed by the Silver Millennium were lost as well as the knowledge . . . just because of Queen Beryl of the Negaverse. She is long dead, thanks to Serenity and her friends and guardians, but this is what will happen to Earth if the Light of Destruction wins. He wants to brainwash the whole of the universe to worshipping him and destroy all darkness in the universe. And without darkness, there can't be light or Life for that matter. We won't be his brainwashed slaves. We, along with the whole universe, will die.”

 

Missy tells Alexis, “Even if you are right about this, what can we do about? If Sartorius is really some kind of alien from outer space, how are we going to stop someone that can see the future?”

 

Prince Judai then gets to his feet, faces everyone, and says, “By doing something that he doesn't expect and fight back.”

 

A Ra Yellow student says, fearfully, “You are nuts, Jaden! I mean . . . This guy blew back all of the Sailor Scouts with ease and they didn't put a dent on him! How are we supposed to defeat that . . . alien freak?!”

 

Tyranno exclaims, annoyed, “Oh, come on, here, troops! Look, when we united together, we stopped him before and back then, you didn't know the full situation! Heck, we didn't know what was going on in full until recently and guess what we did, we united and stop that freak and his Society of Light right in tracks!”

 

Lita then exclaims, “Hassleberry is right, everyone! Plus, the Society of Light is weaker than before! The Light of Destruction is powerful, but part of his power comes from how many other people worship him! With his brainwashed `subjects', it will be all of us against one of him and he won't stand a chance no matter how powerful he is!”

 

Blair nods her head in agreement and says, “Plus, Jaden and the girls didn't use their powers to free you! They fought like regular duelists, like you and me, and kicked butt with dueling skills!” All of the students look at each other and nod their heads, knowing that this was true.

 

Jasmine then says, “That's right! Before my powers awakened, I defeated Ashley with my own skills and determination and it was that caused my powers to awaken and save Ashley from the Light of Destruction's control! If any of us can duel and win against the Society of Light with just our dueling skills, so, can the rest of you!”

 

Mindy says, with a smile, “Jasmine's right! We might be Sailor Scouts, but we are duelists just like all of you with weakness and strengths in our dueling skills and abilities! And if we can hold our own against the Society of Light, so, can you!”

 

Rei says, strongly, “Yeah! You've united and won against the Society of Light before, you can do it again!” Remember what happened last time causes the student body's confidence to rise even faster than before and all of them smile, knowing that our heroes and heroines are right.

 

Prince Judai then says, with a smile, “All right, who's ready to get out there and duel?!”

 

The student body yells out, excitedly and confidently, “Yeah!”

 

Prince Judai then shouts out, “All right, everyone, let's . . .!!”

 

The student body calls out in unison, “. . . GET OUR GAME ON!!!” The student body then begins to cheer and shout with great confidence and they began to cheer Jaden's name and Serena's Sailor Senshi name of Sailor Moon, knowing that with our heroes and heroines and working together, they're going to beat the Society of Light once and for all.

 

Tyranno says, with a wide grin, “Well, Sarge, you've just got an army.”

 

Amara states, in a plain tone, “I don't know why, but I believe that the tide is about to turn against the Society of Light.”

 

Michelle says, with her usual smile, “I think that you are right, Amara. We have the majority of the school on our side and they are . . . highly motive and very eager.”

 

However, Mina thinks in her mind, perplexed, “I wonder where Atticus-senpai could be?”

 

(Overlooking the pier; a short time later)

 

In another part of the island, we find Atticus Rhodes walking towards the pier with a duffle bag slung behind his back and he goes over to cliff overlooking the harbor on Academy Island. Atticus looks down at the harbor and finds Zane, in his Hell Kaiser attire, besides the lighthouse in the harbor. As Atticus looks down at Zane, the memory of when he fought Jaden when he was Nightshroud come into his mind.

 

Atticus thinks in his mind, “I owe you one, Zane. You and your friends, especially Jaden, fought your hardest to bring me back from the shadows and now, it is my turn to do that for you, Zane.” When Zane looks up towards Atticus, he nods his head and turns to leave with Zane moving to follow older Rhodes sibling.

 

(Within the area of the volcano; Sometime soon after)

 

In the area near the cone of the volcano on Academy Island, we find Atticus and Zane walking the rocky ground as Zane starts to look around with an annoyed look in his expression.

 

Zane asks, annoyed, “All right, you've dragged me to the middle of nowhere with you! So, now what?!”

 

Atticus calls out, “How quickly we forget?!” Zane hears the duffle bag that Atticus was carrying fall to the ground and he turns to see Atticus changed out of his Obelisk Blue uniform into clothes that he wore as Nightshroud with a duel disk attached to his left arm. Atticus tells Zane, “This is where Jaden fought Nightshroud. And I realize in order to save you from the shadows, I must enter the shadows with you.” Atticus holds up Nightshroud's deck, it gives off a slight dark glow for a few seconds, and Atticus says, “With this deck, we will enter the shadows and hopefully, we will leave them together.”

 

Zane says, plainly, “Entering the shadows? Sounds like you've still got some Nightshroud in you.”

 

Atticus inserts Nightshroud's deck into the duel disk and says, “Nightshroud will always be a part of me, but now, I'm in control.”

 

Zane huffs, takes out his new deck from his black leather jacket, and says, putting his deck into his duel disk, “What are you implying? That I'm not in control? I couldn't disagree with you more. I'm in total control! But you are going to see that for yourself!” The two of them activate their duel disk, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points apiece, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Game on!” both duelists say in unison.

Atticus: 4000

 

Atticus says, “All right, Zane, I'll start!” Atticus draws one card from his deck, looks at his hand, puts the card he drew on his duel disk, and calls out, “Come out, Red-Eyes Black Chick!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Black Chick (800/600) appears on the field in attack mode. Atticus then says, display a Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) monster card, “Now, check out his ability! If I send him to the graveyard, I can summon my Red-Eyes Black Dragon!” Soon after, Red-Eyes Black Chick and his egg are engulfed in flames, the egg bursts, Red-Eyes Black Chick goes, and is replaced by Red-Eyes Black Dragon (2400/2000) in attack mode. Atticus then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play Inferno Fire Blast! That means if I don't attack you directly with Red-Eyes Black Dragon, you take damage equal to his attack points!” Atticus then calls out, “Hey, Red-Eyes, show him what you've got!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon fires a sphere of black and violet energy at Zane, it slams into him, he doesn't flinch at all, but he does lose 2400 life-points in the process. Atticus puts one card more in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll place one card face-down and allow you to step in!”

Zane tells Atticus, “You know, you've pulled off a pretty powerful combination. You know, it makes you think, could you have done it?” Zane then gives a dark grin and states, “I mean without Nightshroud's help?”

 

Atticus gives off a confident smile and says, “Like I said, Nightshroud is gone and I won't be controlled.” Atticus looks at his duel disk, it gives off a dark aura, and Atticus gives off a slightly nervous look.

 

Zane draws one card from his deck and says, “Something wrong? Just wait.” Zane puts one card on his duel disk and exclaims, “I summon my Cyber Dark Horn!” Out of the ground, Cyber Dark Horn (800/800) appears on the field in attack mode.

 

Atticus thinks in his mind, “I've never seen that card before!”

 

Zane tells Atticus, “Thanks to my Cyber Dark Horn's special ability, he can take one level four or below Dragon type monster out of either of our graveyards. And then the dragon is added to my Cyber Dark Horn and it gains all of that dragon's attack points. So, I think I will take your Red-Eyes Black Chick!” Just then a sphere of light comes out of Atticus' graveyard, the sphere of light goes to Cyber Dark Horn, the sphere of light transforms into Red-Eyes Black Chick, and Cyber Dark Horn captures the baby dragon monster with its claws and attaches electrodes to Red-Eyes Black Chick. Zane says, with a dark smirk, “Every single point that your monster had is going to a real monster and then if Cyber Dark Horn attacks a monster in defense mode that has less defense points than Cyber Dark Horn's attack points, the difference comes out of your life-points!” Cyber Dark Horn's stats then increase from 800/800 to 1600/800 and the dark monster gives an unearthly screech as it does so. Zane then puts a card into the spell/trap slots and says, “From my hand, I activate the spell card Megamorph! Since I have less life-points than you, this card doubles my Cyber Dark Horn's original attack points!” Cyber Dark Horn gives a bright glow as its stats goes up from 1600/800 to 2400/800!

 

Atticus says, shocked, “Now, it is as strong as my dragon!”

 

Zane tells Atticus, “Expect mine has a slight edge over yours, Atticus. By getting rid of your Chick, my monster can't be destroyed in this battle.” Zane then commands, “Cyber Dark Horn, attack his Red-Eyes Black Dragon with Dark Spear!” Cyber Dark Horn gives an unearthly roar as it sends beam of dark energy from its horns right Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

 

Atticus calls out, “I reveal my trap! Negate Attack!” Atticus' face-down card is revealed to be the Negate Attack trap card and a field around Red-Eyes Black Dragon forms, canceling out Cyber Dark Horn's attack.

 

Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I place this face-down! You are safe for now.” Zane tells Atticus, “Are you still in control Atticus? Or are the shadow taking over your mind?!”

 

Atticus draws one card from his deck and says, “See for yourself! My move!” Just then the card he draws gives off a dark aura and Atticus hears a dark voice similar to his voice ring in his mind.

 

Nightshroud's voice says in Atticus' mind, “You can't hide from me, Atticus! You and I are one in the same! Embrace the darkness!”

 

Atticus winches from the voice and says, “All right, time to get my A-game on!” Atticus calls out, “Later, pal!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon roars out as it is sent to the graveyard and Atticus puts a card on his duel disk. Atticus shouts out, “Now, I summon Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon!” Red-Eyes Black Dragon sends dark energy into the sky as they become thick with dark clouds and then Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000) appears on the field with storm clouds sending down thunder and lightning. Just then Atticus groans out painfully is becoming engulfed in a dark aura as Nightshroud's dark chuckle becomes even louder than before.

 

Nightshroud's voice booms in Atticus' mind, “A wise choice. It was only a matter of time!”

 

(Exactly the same time; Nearby Zane's and Atticus' duel)

 

Nearby Zane's and Atticus' duel, we find Jaden Yuki and Serena with Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) and Elemental Hero Eternal Moon (3000/2500) beside them standing over two defeated pro duelists as their life-points drop to zero and the holograms fade away.

 

Jaden tells the two defeated duelists, with a smile, “That's game!”

 

Serena says, with her sly grin, “Now, we will take those medals to go, boys!” Just then the sky gets darker and Serena says, “What the?! The weatherman didn't predict rain today!”

 

Jaden looks to his right, sees Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, and says, lowly, “No way. It's Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon.”

 

Serena looks to where Jaden is looking and exclaims, “Oh no! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon! Jadeite was using that card in your duel with him! He must be back to kill you, Jaden!”

 

Jaden shakes his head and says, with a concerned tone, “I don't think that's Jadeite, sis. I don't know, but I know that isn't Jadeite. However, that makes me worry even more.”

 

Serena asks Jaden, “What do you mean, bro?” FYI: Lately, ever since Jaden was revealed to be Serena's sister from the Silver Millennium, Jaden has been calling Serena `sis' and Serena has been calling him `bro' or `brother' a lot.

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Jaden! Serena!” Jaden and Serena turn to the source to see Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, and Mina along with Luna and Atriums running towards them.

 

Jaden asks Syrus, “Hey, Syi, what's up?”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, “Jaden, Zane and my brother are dueling right now!”

 

Jaden asks, curiously, “So, Zane is here now?” Jaden then looks towards Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon and says, “Take a look at that.”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “Oh, it's Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon! That the same dragon that Jadeite used against you and Atticus did when . . . Um, he had `issues'.”

 

Mina asks Serena, “Do you think that Jadeite's back for revenge against Jaden?”

 

Serena shakes his head and says, “Jaden doesn't think it is Jadeite.”

 

Jaden says, in a serious tone, “I don't know how, but I know that's Atticus.”

 

Everyone looks at Jaden with shock and Syrus exclaims, “Atticus is using that dragon! That means he's using his deck when . . . he had `issues'.”

 

Alexis gasps in shock and thinks, worriedly, “What is my brother thinking?”

 

Jaden tells Serena, “Sis, get the medals! We need to get up there! Fast!” Jaden then rushes off towards the duel between Zane and Atticus with Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Mina, and Atriums on his heels.

 

Serena shouts out, “Wait up!” Serena quickly goes over to the fallen pro duelists, gets their medals, and races off after Jaden, Alexis, Syrus, Tyranno, Mina, and Atriums with Luna.

 

Luna exclaims, in her usual tone, “Serena, hurry up!”

 

Serena tells Luna, annoyed, “I'm hurrying! I'm hurrying, Luna! That's my brother, you know!”

 

(Back between the duel between Atticus and Zane; shortly thereafter)

 

Returning to the duel between Zane and Atticus, Zane has only 1600 life-points left with his Cyber Dark Horn on the field with 2400/800 stats and one card face-down and Atticus, on the other hand, still had his full 4000 life-points with Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (2400/2000) on the field in attack mode.

 

On the meanwhile, more dark aura come from Atticus' duel disk and he says, “Since I sent my Red-Eyes Black Dragon is in the graveyard, my Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon gains three hundred life-points!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats increased from 2400/2000 to 2700/2000! Atticus calls out, “Cyber Dark Horn is going down! Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon, attack with Inferno Darkfire!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon launches a beam of dark flames from his mouth at Cyber Dark Horn, but when it hits only Red-Eyes Black Chick is destroyed, however, Zane still loses three hundred life-points.

 

Zane says, a bit annoyed, “My Cyber Dark Horn is unharmed! It used your Red-Eyes Black Chick as a shield! Sorry about that!”

 

Atticus tells Zane, seriously, “Don't be, Zane. Since my dragon is back in the graveyard, again, my Darkness Dragon gains three hundred points for a grand total of three thousand attack points.” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats then increase from 2700/2000 to 3000/2000 and Atticus says, putting a card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play a spell card! Super Rejuvenation! For every dragon that I sent to the graveyard, I get to draw a card at the End Phase of my turn!” Atticus then draws one card from my deck and he groans in pain as Nightshroud's dark cackle is heard in Atticus' mind.

Zane draws one card and says, plainly, “I'll assume that you are done. So, I will change Cyber Dark Horn to defense mode!” Cyber Dark Horn switches from attack to defense mode, Zane then puts another card on his duel disk, and says, “I will summon Cyber Dark Edge in attack mode.” Soon after, Cyber Dark Edge (800/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Zane then says, with a dark smirk, “Like my Dark Horn, my Dark Edge can go grave robbing when it is summoned to the field and then absorbs its victim's power. So, I will be taking your Red-Eyes Black Chick again!” Just then a beam of light comes out of Atticus' graveyard, the beam of light goes to Cyber Dark Edge, the light transforms into Red-Eyes Black Chick, and Cyber Dark Edge captures it within its claws and puts a pair of electrodes to its head. Cyber Dark Edge's stats then increase from 800/800 to 1600/800 and Zane then says, “And since this little scrub is back on the field, your Darkness Dragon loses three hundred attack points!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats then drop down to 2700/2000! Zane then calls out, “Now, for his special ability, by cutting its attack points in half, Cyber Dark Edge can attack you directly!” Cyber Dark Edge leaps towards Atticus, its stats are cut in half down to 800/800, and Atticus yells out as the attack slams into him, costing him 800 life-points. Zane puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll place one card face-down and call it a turn.”

There is a silence for about a minute, just then the dark aura surrounds Atticus' body, and he says, getting very angry, “You will pay for that! Mark my words!” Atticus then draws one card from his deck, he looks at it, and says, “Perfect.” Atticus puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play this! Dragon Heart!” Atticus tells Zane, seriously, “For this turn, I can't Normal Summon any of my monsters, but I can do this! Send three dragons from my deck to my graveyard and my Darkness Dragon gains one thousand attack points!” Atticus discards his Mirage Dragon (1600/600), Troop Dragon (700/800), and Attachment Dragon (100/300) from his deck to the graveyard, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon roars as it stats rise to 3700/2000, and Atticus then says, “But that's not all! Since there are three more dragons in my graveyard, Darkness Dragon gains nine hundred more attack points! Now, that's power!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats then increase from 3700/2000 to 4600/2000! Atticus cries out in pain as dark energy begins to engulf him and he cries out, “Help me! The Shadows! They . . . They're too strong! They're taking over!” However, Atticus looks at Zane and thinks, “But this may be the only way to save Zane! If his mind is clouded by darkness, I may able to break through to him. Well, there is only way to find out.” Atticus strains to call out his attack, but the dark aura was straining on his body and mind and it was difficult. However, a sight glow comes from his forehead and Atticus feels another power within him, but unlike Nightshroud's Shadow Power, it was a warm and reassuring energy.

 

Atticus hears a voice a lot like his own, but unlike Nightshroud's voice, it was strong and noble, and the voice says in his mind, “Come on, Atticus. You have to fight this darkness! Zane is counting on you and the others are waiting for you! Especially, Mina-chan, bro! She's worried about you most of all.” Atticus gasps in his mind and the voice tells him, mentally, “Now, fight this darkness and save Zane!”

 

Atticus roars out, as the dark aura continues to encircle him, “Cyber Dark Edge is going down! Darkness Dragon, attack!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon roars out with power as the dark aura encircles him as well and as it prepares to attack, Jaden, Alexis, Tyranno, Syrus, Mina, Serena, and the two guardian felines arrive on the battlefield.

 

Syrus exclaims, “Look! It is my brother and Atticus!”

 

Jaden calls out, “It is Atticus! But what is he doing in Nightshroud's clothes and using Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon?!”

 

Luna tells Jaden, “I don't know, my boy. But I've got some bad news. There is a dark aura surrounding him and that monster.”

 

Serena looks at Luna in shock and asks, “Are you sure?!”

 

Atriums nods his head in agreement with Luna and says, “Luna's right, Serena! I can feel it too! It's the aura of the Shadow Realm!”

 

Jaden says, in a worried tone, “That's not good.”

 

Alexis says, worriedly, “Atticus . . .”

 

Mina thinks in her mind, “Atticus-sempai . . .”

 

Syrus looks at his brother and says, “Poor guy.”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “Just wait.”

 

Atticus roars out, in a strong tone, “Inferno Darkfire!” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon blasts a beam of dark flames at Cyber Dark Edge, it slams into the dark machine monster, and Red-Eyes Black Chick is destroyed with Cyber Dark Edge is safe. Atticus says, with the dark aura enveloping his body, “Even through your Dark Edge is safe, thanks to my Chick, I'm afraid you've lost the rest of your life-points.”

 

Zane tells Atticus, in a dark tone, “You might want to check your math . . . because I play this!” Just then Zane's face-down card is revealed to be the Power Wall trap card and Zane declares, “And I throw out most of my deck!” Zane takes thirty cards from his deck and throws them into the air, shocking everyone.

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “What did he play?”

 

Zane says, with a dark tone, “It's called Power Wall. I can activate it when a monster threatens my life-points! Now, for every card I scrap, Power Wall reduces my damage by one hundred points. And since, I ditched thirty cards, I get to keep the three thousand life-points that you tried to take away!”

 

Serena says, horrified, “He . . . He just treated his cards like they were . . . like they were trash!”

 

Mina states, shocked, “That's horrible!”

 

Alexis says, also shocked, “Zane . . . what have you become?”

 

Atticus, with the dark aura, covering his body and says, shocked, “But . . . But Zane, you treated your cards like trash. Why, Zane? In the old days, you respected the card in your deck.” Atticus then says, getting a serious and angered expression on his face, “I guess I can't get through to you at all.” Just then Atticus kneels over in pain and lowers her head.

 

Just then Nightshroud's voice calls out, “Not without my help, you can't!” The dark aura grows more powerful and Jaden, Luna, and Atriums can feel it. Just then an image of Nightshroud's mask appears in the dark aura, Atticus gets to his feet, and Nightshroud's voice booms, “Atticus has left the building, but don't worry, Nightshroud is here!” Just then Atticus' head lifts up to reveal he is wearing Nightshroud's mask once more.

 

Syrus exclaims, “Uh oh! Not good!”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, fearfully, “Atticus, no!”

 

Mina asks, a bit fearfully, “Why is Atticus wearing that weird mask?”

 

Jaden says, in a serious tone, “That's not Atticus! That's Nightshroud!”

 

Serena asks Jaden, a bit worriedly, “Isn't he that dark persona that Atticus went by when he was brainwashed by the leader of the Shadow Riders?”

 

Jaden says, in a serious tone, “Yeah, Serena. And I can tell you that this guy isn't anything like Atticus. We are in real danger!”

 

Nightshroud looks at Jaden and his friends and states, with a dark smile on his lips, “Well, if it isn't Jaden Yuki. It has been awhile hasn't it? By the way, do you prefer me calling you `your majesty' instead?”

 

Jaden asks, curiously, “So, you know the truth about me?”

 

Nightshroud tells Jaden, “Foolish boy. I am part of Atticus and Atticus is a part of me. His memories are my memories, so, yes, I do know. And I've got to say that it is quite surprising.”

 

Alexis yells at Nightshroud, angrily, “Where is my brother, Nightshroud?!”

 

Nightshroud tells Alexis, “Now, now, sis, is that any way to talk to your brother like that?”

 

Alexis tells Nightshroud, seriously, “You are not my brother, Nightshroud! You are just some evil persona created when my brother was brainwashed!”

 

Nightshroud tells Alexis, “If I remember correctly, weren't you just released from the control of Sartorius' or the Light of Destruction's control when you were brainwashed by Chazz when he was under this evil alien force's control?” Alexis winches at the comment and Nightshroud states, with a dark smile, “First, your brother was brainwashed into me for an evil lunatic trying to take over the world and you were brainwashed into a soldier for some evil alien that wants to do the same. I've got to say that the apple doesn't fall far from the family tree, does it?”

 

Alexis begins to sweat nervous, but Jaden gets in front of her and says, in a serious tone, “Watch it, Nightshroud! Alexis has already been through enough! Leave her out of this!”

 

Nightshroud says, in a dark taunting tone, “Ah, did I hurt the mighty Moon Prince's feelings?” Nightshroud then tells Alexis, “Sorry to `rattle your cage', sis, but this does make you wonder. If Atticus can turn back into me . . . well, it does make you think, doesn't it?”

 

Alexis gasps silently and thinks, “I hate to admit, but he might be right. If my brother still had some of Nightshroud's influence inside of him that got released, what if . . . what if some of the Light of Destruction's evil still lives inside me?”

 

Zane looks at the group of friends and thinks, “What is Nightshroud talking about?” Zane then sees Jaden's and Serena's crescent moon sigils and thinks in his mind, “Wait a minute! What is that mark on Jaden's head? It can't be a tattoo! Who in their right mind would ever get a tattoo on their forehead? And who is that girl with the weird meatball hairstyle with that same mark? Why did Nightshroud call Jaden a `Moon Prince'?”

 

Nightshroud tells Jaden, “Don't worry, Jaden. We can talk about old times and you can take out your aggression on me when we duel.”

 

Zane looks at Nightshroud and says, seriously, “Did we forget? I'm your opponent and to get to Jaden, you will have through me first! I can assure you that won't happen because that runt belongs to me!”

 

Serena exclaims, annoyed, “Who is he calling runt?”

 

Nightshroud says, with a dark smile on his lips, “Ha! It won't be long until your defeat!” Nightshroud then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play Dragon's Fire! With this card, since I have a dragon on my side of the field, one monster with eight hundred defense points or less is vanquished. So, your Cyber Dark Edge is no more.” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon fires a sphere of flame energy from its mouth at Cyber Dark Edge and it is destroyed with ease. Nightshroud then says, “I think that's enough for now.” Soon after, Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats reduce down from 4900/2000 to 3900/2000, since Dragon Heart's effect is over.

Nightshroud then says, “With only three cards in your deck, there is very little you can do.”

 

Zane draws one card from his deck and says, “You would be surprised, Nightshroud.” Zane then says, “Now, I reveal my trap! It's Call of Haunted!” Zane's face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted trap card and Zane says, “With this, I can bring Cyber Dark Edge back from the graveyard!” Soon after, a pillar of flames comes onto the field and Cyber Dark Edge (800/800) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

Nightshroud says, with a dark smile on his lips, “That was pointless. That monster is no match for my Darkness Dragon.”

 

Zane tells Nightshroud, putting another card on his duel disk, “I'm not done, yet. I summon Cyber Dark Keel!”

 

Nightshroud asks, surprised, “What?! You've got another monster?!” Soon after, Cyber Dark Keel (800/800) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Zane then puts a card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I will play Polymerization! With this card, I can fuse my Cyber Dark Horn, Cyber Dark Edge, and Cyber Dark Keel!”

 

Jaden exclaims, shocked, “Awesome!”

 

Syrus then says, amazed, “No way!” Soon after, the three named monsters go into a fusion vortex as they are sent to the graveyard, Zane gets a fusion monster card from his fusion deck, and puts it on his duel disk.

 

Zane shouts out, strongly, “Meet Cyber Dark Dragon!” Out of the fusion vortex, Cyber Dark Dragon (1000/1000) comes to the field with an unearthly roar.

 

Atriums tells everyone, “Watch it, everyone! That monster has a dangerous aura coming from it!”

 

Serena calls out, fearfully, “You think?!”

 

Nightshroud then says, with a sly smirk, “It takes a lot more than to impress me. That thing is too weak.”

 

Zane says, with a dark smile on his lips, “You are forgetting two words: Special effect. When Cyber Dark Dragon is summoned to the field, it can take a dragon monster from either of our graveyards and then it absorbs every single one of its attack points.” Zane then points to Nightshroud and exclaims, “So, hand over your Red-Eyes!” Nightshroud gasps in shock as a sphere of light comes out of his graveyard, goes to Cyber Dark Dragon, the sphere of light transforms into Red-Eyes Black Dragon, it becomes captured in Cyber Dark Dragon's claws, and a pair of electrodes is attached to its head. Cyber Dark Dragon's stats then rise from 1000/1000 to 3400/1000! Zane then declares, darkly, “And with your Red-Eyes gone, your Darkness Dragon loses three hundred attack points.” Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's stats then go down from 3900/2000 to 3600/2000!

 

Nightshroud says, confidently and a dark smile on his lips, “All that work and my dragon are still stronger than your monster.”

 

Zane tells Nightshroud, with a dark smile on his lips, “But my monster still has one special ability left. For every single card in my graveyard, Cyber Dark Dragon gains one hundred attack points.”

 

Nightshroud, not expecting this, states, shocked, “It what?!”

 

Zane tells Nightshroud, “I have thirty-seven cards in my graveyard.”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “Oh boy! That's thirty-seven hundred more attack points!”

 

Jaden exclaims, amazed, “Whoa! That's why he trashed all of his cards!”

 

Syrus says, “But still . . . he didn't all of those points to beat Atticus. He just showing off! That . . . That's not like Zane!”

 

Alexis says, seriously, “No joke, Syrus! What happened to him?! The old Zane would never do something like this!”

 

Zane then says, “And so, with thirty-seven cards in my graveyard, Cyber Dark Dragon gains three thousand seven hundred more attack points!” Cyber Dark Dragon roars as its stats increase from 3400/1000 to 7100/1000!

 

Nightshroud exclaims, shocked, “It has over seven thousand attack points now!”

 

Zane says, with a dark smile on his lips, “Exactly! That's the power of the Underworld deck!” Zane then gains a scowl and yells out, darkly, “Cyber Dark Dragon, destroy his Darkness Dragon! Scream of the Underworld!” Cyber Dark Dragon gives out a powerful unearthly roar that violent shakes the ground around everyone and forces our heroes and heroines to cover their eyes.

 

Luna exclaims, “What power!”

 

Jaden quickly grabs Alexis' right hand and exclaims, “Hold on!” On the meanwhile, the powerful assault on Darkness Dragon rips it into tiny pieces as it is destroyed. Soon after, deep within the shadows, Nightshroud's mask fades away as Atticus regains control.

 

Atticus then hears Zane's voice shout, “It's over, Nightshroud! Your Shadow Magic is nothing compared to my power!” Atticus then looks ahead of him to see Zane covered in flames in red hot flames.

 

Atticus tells Zane, “Zane, you did it! You defeated the darkness! Does this mean you are back?!”

 

Zane yells out, darkly, “No! The Zane that you knew is long gone and he's never coming back!”

 

Atticus states, “So, you are still being controlled by the darkness?”

 

Zane tells Atticus, darkly, “I'm not being brainwashed! I just figured out the truth, that's all!”

 

Atticus then asks, curiously and seriously, “Okay, then what's the truth?”

 

Zane replies, darkly, “That the only thing that matters in life is victory!”

 

Atticus gasps in shock and exclaims, “Come on, Zane, you can't be serious!”

 

Zane tells Atticus, in a very dark tone, “I'm not fooling around Atticus!” Just then the image of Zane covered in flames flies away and engulfs Atticus in a bright light. Soon after, we return back to the `real world' where we find Nightshroud's mask shatters and a dark aura is expelled from Atticus' body causing him to fall to his knees. On the meanwhile, Zane has a dark smile on his lips that turns into an emotionless and serious expression while Atticus' life-points drop down to zero from Cyber Dark Dragon's attack.

Atticus, down on his knees, looks up at Zane and exclaims, as the hologram of Cyber Dark Dragon fades away, “Zane, how did this happen to you?!” Zane doesn't say a word and our heroes and heroines look on in stunned silence.

 

Jaden and Alexis exclaim in unison, “Atticus!” Soon after, Jaden, Alexis, Tyranno, Serena, and Mina quickly go over to the fallen elder Rhodes sibling, but Syrus stays behind and gets a serious look as he looks at his older brother while Luna and Atriums stay by Syrus' two legs.

 

When Jaden, Alexis, Tyranno, Serena, and Mina get to Atticus, Jaden asks Atticus, “Atticus, are you all right?”

 

Tyranno asks, curiously, “Where did your funny looking mask go?”

 

Jaden asks Atticus, “I'm all right, Jaden. Nightshroud is gone for good.”

 

Alexis asks Atticus, “What were you thinking using Nightshroud's deck like that?”

 

Atticus tells Alexis, “Sorry, sis, but I thought it was the only way.” On the meanwhile, Atticus looks at Zane as he reassembles and reshuffles his deck, de-activates his duel disk, and puts his dueling deck into black jacket causing him to think, “Something has got to be messing with Zane's head. People just don't forget what they believed in unless they have been brainwashed or manipulated in some way. I'm not going to give up him, through.” Atticus stands on his feet and says, “Hey, Zane, good job. I guess that this GX medal is yours.” Atticus then throws his GX medal towards Zane and it lands on the ground near him.

 

However, Zane steps on the medal and says, “I could care less about these worthless trinkets. You see, the only thing that matters to me is victory.” Zane then gives an evil smirk and gives an evil giggle.

 

Tyranno says, shocked, “Whoa.”

 

Mina says, amazed, “He's supposed to be Syrus' older brother! He's nothing, but a jerk!”

 

Serena tells Mina, scolding her, “Mina! Do you want Syrus to hear?!”

 

Mina puts her hands over her mouth and says, “Oops. Sorry.”

 

Zane then walks away and Atticus asks, somewhat lowly, “So, that's means I can keep the medal?” Zane doesn't reply as he goes over to pass Syrus, Luna, and Atriums and Syrus gives a very serious look on his expression while Zane doesn't even acknowledge him. Jaden gives a worried expression on his face while Syrus doesn't lose the serious expression on his face.

 

Syrus thinks in his mind, in a determined tone, “Zane, I'm going to duel you . . . and I'm going to win!”

 

When Zane is finally out of sight, Jaden asks Syrus, “Hey, Syi, are you okay?”

 

Syrus says, in a plain tone as he turns to walk away, “Yeah, J, I'm okay. Right now, I've got some things to do.” Syrus then walks away from the others and thinks, “However, I'm nowhere close to ready to duel Zane, yet! The only chance that I really have against him is I get good enough to use the Power Bond card that he gave me! I may have played it correct the last time, but only because I had Jaden's help to play it the right way. Now, I need to get good enough to use it on mine own! Then I and only then I will be ready to duel Zane!”

 

As Syrus walks away, Jaden calls out, “Hey, Syrus, where are you going?!”

 

Luna and Atriums go over to Jaden and Atriums tells him, “Jaden, it is the best that you leave him alone for now.”

 

Jaden asks Atriums, “What?! Why, Atriums?”

 

Luna tells Jaden, “I know that you are worried about your friend, Jaden. However, he has got a lot to think about. First and foremost, his elder brother has turned to the darkness. I have rarely seen such malice, anger, and darkness in someone's eyes, but I saw a lot of it within that young man's eyes. I'm not really sure he is being controlled by any evil force, Jaden. I couldn't sense any dark force possessing him.”

 

Serena asks Luna, “Wait a minute! Are you saying that Syrus' older brother turned evil?!”

 

Atticus says, seriously, “No way! Zane would never just give up on everything he knew just like that!”

 

Luna tells Atticus, “I'm not say that he did! However, his beliefs and emotions might have been corrupted in some way and unleashed the anger, rage, and darkness within his soul transforming him into his `Hell Kaiser' persona that he is today. Most likely, whatever `force' transformed him couldn't control him and now, in his corrupted state, he is continue as he say on his own, working independently of any control.”

 

Mina asks Atriums, “Do you think there is a way to turn Syrus' brother back into his `old self'?”

 

Atriums tells Mina, solemnly, “I'm sorry, Mina, but I don't have the answer for you. A change so radical and so powerful with such evil, malice, hatred, and anger within him, I'm not sure the corruption can be purified. It will take something very powerful for Zane Truesdale to be changed back.”

 

Mina asks Atticus, “Atticus-sempai, are you okay?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with his usual smile, “Don't worry, Mina. I'm just fine. And for now on, just call me `Atticus' or `Atticus-chan', okay?”

 

Mina nods her head and says, “Sure, Atticus.” Atticus then smiles at Sailor Senshi of Love and then a huge amount of weakness sweeps through him causing him to hold his head. Mina asks, concerned, “Atticus, are you okay?”

 

Atticus says, weakly, “Yeah, it's just I feel a bit weak . . . that duel took a lot out of me more than a thought . . .” Atticus then collapses to his knees and falls into Mina's arms, who manages to hold him up thanks to her Sailor Senshi super-strength.

 

Alexis asks Atticus, worriedly, “Atticus! Atticus, are you okay?”

 

Jaden says, solemnly, “Poor guy. That duel took a lot of him. Jaden tells Alexis, with a reassuring, “However, `Lex, I'm sure that your bro is just fine. He is just exhausted from the duel, that's all. Give him a bit and he will be back on his feet.”

 

Mina then says, “I think that it is more to that than, Jaden. Take a look.” When everyone looks at Atticus, they are shocked to see the same sun sigil on Alexis' forehead on Atticus' own forehead.

 

Serena states, shocked, “That's the same royal sigil that Alexis has as Princess Arinna!”

 

Just then a few memories enter Jaden's, Alexis', and Serena's minds and Jaden exclaims, realizing, “Now, I remember! Atticus must Alexis' brother from the Silver Millennium, Prince Apollo of the Sun Kingdom!”

 

Syrus asks Jaden, “Huh? Atticus is a prince?”

 

Jaden tells Syrus, “Yeah, Syi. Apollo was a very good fighter, but not as much as his sister. He was more of lover than a fighter if you get what I mean.”

 

Luna says, “When the dark aura of Nightshroud was finally lifted from Atticus, it allowed his powers and heritage from the Silver Millennium buried deep inside him to come out.”

 

Serena asks Alexis, “Didn't you have a younger sister, too, Alexis?”

 

Alexis nods her head and states, “Yeah, I did. She had a crush on Jaden, too, which annoyed me a lot, but she got over it when she knew Jaden and I were going to be together.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a sly smirk, “Don't remind me.”

 

Atriums then says, “Well, we better get him to the school infirmary as quickly as possible.”

 

Tyranno then states, “Allow me to handle that job ladies.”

 

Jaden tells Tyranno, “Thanks, Hassleberry.”

 

Tyranno tells Jaden, “No problem, Sarge. Just doing my job, sir.” Mina then helps put Atticus onto Tyranno's back and all of them prepare to walk off back to the medical wing in the main building in Duel Academy. However, Alexis had her head down and was in deep thought.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “I don't want to admit it, but what Nightshroud said could be true. The Light of Destruction is a very smart being and wouldn't just let one of the best duelists from his Society of Light off so easily. Could it be possible that even my transformation into Princess Arinna didn't eliminate every trace of that freak's influence from me? What if he can take control of me again?” Alexis looks at Jaden and thinks in her mind, “My memory is still fuzzy about what happened, but I do remember some things and they aren't good. One terrible memory is in my mind. It was a school field trip to somewhere. Jaden came to where the Society of Light was staying at the time and he was yelling at us to return Syrus and Hassleberry, which most likely we kidnapped. Jaden begged me for help and I just coldly turned him away. I don't ever want to become that `person' again. But what if there is a chance that I do? I could be putting my friends in danger and I don't want to hurt them, especially Jaden.”

 

Jaden then looks at Alexis, sees her solemn expression, and he asks Alexis, “Hey, Alexis, is there anything wrong?”

 

Alexis quickly comes out of her stupor and replies, a bit nervously, “No! Nothing's wrong!”

 

Jaden asks Alexis, “Are you sure?”

 

Alexis lies to Jaden by telling him, sounding as serious as possible, “I'm just fine, Jaden. Don't worry about it.”

 

Jaden shrugs his shoulders and says, “Okay, but remember, if you need to talk about anything, just know that you can talk with me about it.”

 

Alexis smiles and tells Jaden, “Thanks, Jaden.”

 

Jaden smiles and replies, “Hey, that's what I'm here for.” However, when he turns his head forward, he gains a bit of a serious expression and he thinks, “I'm sorry, `Lex, but I know that you are lying to me. As Darien and Serena have a bond, you and I also do as well. I know that something wrong and you don't want to tell me. But I don't want to force you into anything, so, I will keep my mouth shut. I just hope that you don't do anything that could cause you to get hurt because of what's worrying you, `Lex. I can't bear to lose you again.” However, as the friends take Atticus to the medical wing in the main building of Duel Academy, they didn't notice that they were being watched from nearby a grey cloaked figure.

 

The grey cloaked figure says, in a feminine voice, “The Sun Princess is fearful that she will fall under the sway of evil again and hurt the one that she holds dear. She can't help the children of Selene as long as continues to doubt herself. I'm afraid that I will have to take some drastic steps.” The grey cloaked figure then vanishes through some kind of teleportation similar to what Goku's Instant Transmission from Dragonball Z.

 

(In the early evening hours; within Duel Academy Harbor)

 

In the evening hours of Duel Academy, we find Alexis Rhodes walking over to the lighthouse where she goes to think alongside Zane as well. Alexis leans across the right side of the lighthouse and looks towards the direction of the Slifer Red dorms. Alexis then thought about the events that happened to her brother when he duel against Zane, how Zane became so dark and evil, how Nightshroud took her brother once more, and what happened to her when she was under the control of the Sartorius/Light of Destruction and the Society of Light. She tries to focus, but then horrifying images of her in the tag duel against Jaden and Serena with her ruthlessly attacking Jaden with her Blue-Ice's White Night Dragon.

 

Alexis holds her head and thinks, “Damn! I can't get those horrible images out of my head! I can't believe that I attacked Jaden so coldly and so ruthlessly. I nearly brainwashed Serena and Jaden into puppets for that freak alien that possessing Sartorius and possibly handed over one of the keys to satellite that would allow him to brainwash the whole world. I know now that Serena's key was a fake, but what if it wasn't?! With Serena and Jaden on his side and both keys, I would have been responsible to dooming the world to worshiping that asshole! How could I've let go this far? Why didn't I resist even harder? Jaden and the others keep telling me that it wasn't my fault, but I can't help feel guilty. It makes me think . . .”

 

Just then a female voice calls out to Alexis, “You are thinking that you are worthy of holding the title of the taiyou-no-hime and the power of the Imperium Sun Crystal, aren't you?” Alexis gasps as she whips around to the source of the voice to see the grey cloaked figure seen earlier in front of her.

 

Alexis shouts out, in a demanding tone, “Who are you?! How do you know about me?!” On the meanwhile, Alexis goes into a defensive posture as she prepares to retrieve her new transformation brooch from her sub-space pocket.

 

The grey cloaked figure says, in a reassuring tone, “Don't be afraid. I am not an enemy and especially not part of that Society of Light that you've been fighting. As you can see, I am in grey, not white. And to answer your question about how I know about you: Let's just say that I am well-versed in the knowledge of the Silver Millennium.”

 

Alexis, not sensing any evil from the figure, but staying on guard, asks, “What do you want?”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “To help you, Alexis Rhodes, reincarnation of Princess Arinna of the Sun Kingdom. You are fearful that you still hold the evil influence with the Light of Destruction, afraid to fall under the sway of that evil force again, and afraid to hurt your friends, especially the one that you love, Jaden Yuki, reincarnation of Prince Judai Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. I have a way that if any of the Light of Destruction's influence within you, it can be expelled permanently.”

 

Alexis asks, curiously, but not too convinced, “How?”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “Bring your Cyber Girl deck and your duel disk to the abandoned dorm in the middle of the evening.”

 

Alexis tells the grey cloaked figure, “Why?”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “In order to defeat the Light of Destruction, you must defeat your greatest foe at this time. Farewell.” The grey cloaked figure then teleports away before Alexis could even say a word in edgewise.

 

Alexis says, annoyed, “Great! Now, what do I do?” Alexis then looks towards the Slifer Red dorm, thinks about Jaden and everything that's happened, and then walks off away from the harbor's edge inland into the island.

 

(Within the Slifer Red dorms; short time later)

 

Within the Slifer Red dorms, we find Jaden Yuki, in his usual position of sleeping on the bottom bunk of his dorm room with Tyranno and Syrus on the upper most bunks of the bed. Soon after, we find Alexis Rhodes, in her Obelisk Blue uniform and with a duel disk that has a dueling deck inside, walk up and knee down towards the Slifer Red duelist and Moon Prince. As he continues to happily snore away in his dreams, Alexis couldn't help to smile at her boyfriend. She gently strokes his hair away and kisses his forehead.

 

Alexis says, lowly, “Goodbye, Jaden. I hope to see you soon. However, if I don't see you, again, remember, I love you.” Alexis then goes to her feet, slowly and quietly goes to the door, she quietly as possible opens the door, heads out the door, and gently closes it behind her. However, as she is leaving, Jaden sleepily opens his eyes and manages to see Alexis' form leave his and his two friends', Tyranno's and Syrus', room in the Slifer Red dorm.

 

Jaden manages to snap away and says, lowly, “Alexis?”

 

(Deep within the Abandoned Dorm; Sometime later)

 

Within the Abandoned Dorm, where Titan dueled against Jaden and Alexis in two separate duels, we find the grey cloaked figure calmly waiting for our Sun Princess to arrive. After a few more moment, she hears footsteps and looks to see Alexis, with duel disk that has a dueling deck inside attached to her left wrist, walking through the entrance.

 

The grey cloaked figure says, “Ah, I see that you took my offer.”

 

Alexis jumps down into the `arena' and tells the grey cloaked figure, “Okay, you've got me interested, but this better not be some trick.”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells her, “I can assure that this is no trick. You might think so, but this is no trick. And I can see you took my advice about bringing your deck and duel disk.”

 

Alexis tells the grey cloaked figure, “And it doesn't take a foreteller to know why. So, am I dueling you?”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “No, it is not I that you will be dueling. However, you are one busy person, so, I will bring your opponent here immediately.”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “Good. The sooner we get this over with, the faster I can get back to my friends and Jaden to kick that alien freak back to whatever and wherever he came from without any fear of getting possessed by that evil jerk again.” The grey cloaked figure then puts her hands together and she begins to glow a bright silver, gold, and white light as the arena glows with her. Alexis says, lowly, “What in the world?”

 

The grey cloaked figure chants out, “Great forces of light and shadows . . . please heed my call . . . present to this one . . . this soul in turmoil . . . the one she must conquer to overcome her greatest fear . . . give it physical form . . . and come forth into this mortal veil . . .!!” Just then the whole field beings the shake and quake very violently.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “I've got a bad feeling about this.” Just then the whole area erupts in silver and white light that forces Alexis to cry out as covers her eyes, but soon enough, the white and silver light dies down as Alexis hears footsteps coming towards her. Alexis manages to peek open her eyes enough to see a female figure wearing what looks like a school uniform with a duel disk attached to her left wrist take shape: A very familiar female figure. When the light dies down, Alexis looks towards the female figure to gasp in shock to see herself expect wearing the white uniform of the Society of Light and an evil gleam in her counterpart's eyes exactly like Alexis had when she deep under the Light of Destruction's control during her tag duel with Chazz against Jaden and Serena. Alexis asks, annoyed, “Hey, what the hell is going on here?!”

 

The evil Alexis tells our Sun Princess, in Alexis' exact voice expect with coldness and harsh like when she in the Society of Light, “What do you think, bitch?!”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “This is your challenger, my dear. You are afraid to turn back into the person that you were when you were in the Society of Light and once again, hurt all that you love. This evil counterpart represents you and all that you were while in the Society of Light. In order to conquer your fear and destroy, if any remains, traces of the Light of Destruction's influence in you, you must face yourself while you were possessed by evil.” The grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “However, I must warn you. If you take up this challenge, there is a great change that you must lose everything here and become possessed by this evil once more. If you wish to back down now, there will be nothing said and no one will think any less of you. Many times, it is hard for one person to face his or herself.”

 

The evil Alexis says, harshly and rudely, “Ha! Don't ever bother! This cowardly wrench is nowhere near as powerful to defeat me! It took Jaden and Serena to defeat me! She is better off leaving this to her dorky boyfriend, but then again, if he has to worry about her all the time, Master Sartorius will put Jaden and Serena where they belong. By his side in the light!”

 

Alexis exclaims, annoyed, “No way! Fine, if I have to do this, then so be it! I never back away from a challenge!” Alexis then activates her duel disk and the life-point counter displays 4000 life-points.

 

The evil Alexis says, in an evil taunting tone, “So, the little princess is showing some backbone! About time, dork!”

 

Alexis tells her evil counterpart, in a serious tone, “We'll see who the dork is when this is over, you fake!”

 

The evil Alexis says, in an evil taunting tone, “Ah, so, the little princess has an attitude, huh? Are you sure that there isn't a bit of me in there?”

 

Alexis tells her evil counterpart, “Shut up! Your mind games won't work on me!”

 

The evil Alexis activates her duel disk, the life-point counter displays 4000 life-points, and she says, “We'll see girlfriend!”

 

The two Alexis then draw five cards from their dueling decks, the grey cloaked figure goes into the sidelines, and both of them say in unison, “Game on!”

Alexis draws one card from her deck, looks at her hand, and says, putting one card on her duel disk, “First, I'll summon good old Cyber Tutu in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Angel's Wing! It's time to earn your wings, girlfriend!” Cyber Tutu leaps into the air as a pair of huge and fluffy angel wings appears on her back. Alexis then puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Finally, I will end with one card face-down.”

 

The evil Alexis giggles in amusement and says, “Is that all, girl? Typical.”

 

Alexis asks her evil counterpart, “Just what do you mean?”

 

The evil Alexis tells Alexis, with an evil smile on her lips, “What I mean that I don't need to tell what your cards since I am you, remember? That face-down is none other than Doble Passé. You plan to activate that trap when I attack your Tutu in order for her to attack me directly. Plus, with Angel's Wing, I also get three hundred extra points of damage when a monster with Angel's Wing equipped to them deals some battle damage to my life-points! That was what you were planning, right?” Alexis gasps in shock and the evil Alexis says, evilly smirking, “I'll take your stunned shock as a `yes'.”

 

Alexis states, strongly, “Well, what are you going to do about it?”

 

The evil Alexis draws one card from her deck and says, “You are about to find out, loser!” The evil Alexis looks at the card she drew, grins evilly, and says, putting the card in the spell/trap slots, sarcastically, “Remember this card, Alexis? I play my White Night's Fort!” Just then a fort made of ice and snow appears behind Alexis' evil counterpart, freezing the entire playing field and causing Alexis to shiver with cold, and she says, darkly, “And if your mind is still foggy about this card. Here's a hint: This card prevents us from playing trap cards during our opponent's turn!”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, worriedly, “Oh no! That means I can't activate my Doble Passé trap card!”

 

The evil Alexis giggles and says, evilly, “Why do you seem so surprised, bitch? You should know that the light reveals all!”

 

Alexis replies, annoyed, “Oh, shut up! I've had enough of this `seeing the light' nonsense! I was brainwashed into it once and I won't be again!”

 

The evil Alexis tells Alexis, coldly, “You forgot that when I win this duel, you will be me! I will take over our body, once more, and you will be gone!”

 

Alexis tells her evil counterpart, seriously, “Not going to happen, girl!”

 

The evil Alexis puts one card on her duel disk and says, “We'll see about that! I summon my Snow Fairy!” Soon after, Snow Fairy (1100/700) appears on the field in attack mode. The evil Alexis asks, in a taunting tone, “Do you remember what this little sprite does? Or do you need a summary?”

 

Alexis growls and replies, annoyed, “No! As long as that monster is on the field, I can't play spell cards until next turn!”

 

The evil Alexis says, nastily, “Well, the bitch can learn! Now, you are going to learn defeat, girlfriend!” The evil Alexis calls out, “Snow Fairy, give her Tutu the cold shoulder! Attack!” Snow Fairy leaps into the air, fires a beam of freezing energy from her right index finger, and the beam slams into Tutu freezing her solid causing her to shatter into pieces and Alexis to lose 100 life-points.

 

Alexis shouts out, shocked, “Tutu!”

 

The evil Alexis asks, nastily, “Ready to give up?”

 

Alexis rubs her arms to keep from freezing and replies, strongly, “Never!” Alexis then draws one card from her deck and says, “Since your destroyed Cyber Tutu while she was equipped with Angel's Wing, my spell card effect activates allowing me to draw one card!”

 

The evil Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, in a nasty tone, “You're funeral, bitch. I wonder if Jaden-chan likes the morning light since he and I will be together in the Society of Light where we belong?”

Alexis draws one card from her deck and she says, strongly, “Not going to happen! My move!” Alexis looks at her hand and thinks, “As long as she got that White Night's Fort in play, my traps are nearly useless and that Snow Fairy makes it that I can't play any spell card for one turn! First, I need to take out that little spire and then demolish that fort of hers.”

 

The evil Alexis says, nastily, “Are you going to move, yet, or did your brain freeze over, bitch? Because I'm getting bored!”

 

Alexis puts one card on her duel disk and exclaims, “Fine! I summon my Blader Skater in attack mode!” Soon after, Blade Skater (1400/1500) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis commands, “Blade Skater, take out her Snow Fairy!” Blade Skater glides across the ice, she spins around, she slices Snow Fairy with the blades on her arms, destroys Snow Fairy, and costing the evil Alexis 300 life-points. Alexis then says, with a smile, “And now that your nasty little spite is gone, I can play my spell cards!” Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “First, I play my Pot of Greed! It allows me to draw two cards from her my deck and them to my hand!” Alexis puts two more cards from her deck into her hand, puts another card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next, I play my Monster Reborn! This card allows to summon Cyber Tutu back to the field!” Soon after, Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

The evil Alexis says, annoyed, “Ha! What's your little ballerina going to do to me?!”

 

Alexis puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, with a sly grin, “Oh, you'll see! Now, I play the spell card Prima's Light!”

 

The evil Alexis gasps and tries to state, “But that means . . .!!”

 

Alexis interrupts and says, “From your shock, I'm thinking that you know what I'm planning to do! So, I sacrifice my Tutu to summon Cyber Prima!” Soon after, Cyber Tutu vanishes as it is sent to the graveyard and Cyber Prima (2300/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis then says, “And thanks to her ability, all spell card currently activate on the field are destroyed! So, your overgrown snow fort is gone!” Just then White Night's Fort shatters into thousands of pieces as it is destroyed by Cyber Prima's special ability. Alexis then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with a smile, “I think that you have had enough for now. I'll end my turn.”

Get ready to be squashed, loser!” The evil Alexis draws one card from her deck and exclaims, “My move!” The evil Alexis shouts out, “I reveal my trap card! Call of the Haunted!” The evil Alexis' face-down card is revealed to be the Call of the Haunted trap card and the evil Alexis states, with an evil grin, “Thanks to this, one of my monsters comes back to the field in attack mode! Want to guess who?”

 

Alexis says, drolly, “Oh, great.” Soon after, Snow Fairy (1100/700) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

The evil Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Pot of Greed! Now, I draw two extra cards!” The evil Alexis draws two extra cards from her deck and puts them into her hands. The evil Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and exclaims, “Next, I play my Sacrifice Icicle! With this card, I get a new friend in my monster zone!” Just then ice version of an Easter Island Totem appears on the evil Alexis' leftmost monster zone and she says, “Thanks to this, I can't use that monster zone for the rest of the duel! However, I can summon one Icicle Token to the field!” Besides the totem, Icicle Token (0/0) appears on the field in attack mode. The evil Alexis then says, as puts a card on her duel disk, “And remember, my token counts as two sacrifices so I can summon my White Night's Queen!” Soon after, Icicle Token breaks into pieces only to be replaced by White Night's Queen (2100/800) in attack mode. The evil Alexis then says, with a sly smirk, “Thanks to her, I can destroy one of your face-down cards!” The evil Alexis then points to the face-down card that's the Doble Passé trap card and says, “And I choose your Doble Passé trap card!”

 

Alexis calls out, shocked, “Oh no!” Alexis' face-down card, Doble Passé, is destroyed by the effect of White Night's Queen.

 

The evil Alexis says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I'm not done with your suffering, yet, bitch! I play my Quick-Summon! Now, I can Normal Summon another monster! So, I sacrifice my Queen and my Snow Fairy!” The two monsters vanish into streams of ice and snow, the evil Alexis puts a card on her duel disk, and shouts out, “Now, I summon my Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon!” The snow and ice then come together and form Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon (3000/2500) in attack mode.

 

Alexis gasps in shock and says, “That . . . That's the monster I used against Jaden and Serena in the tag duel!”

 

The evil Alexis tells says, tauntingly, “Good to see your memory is better than your dueling, dork! And hopefully, you remember that you can't target my dragon with spell and trap card and they will be destroyed if you even try.” The evil Alexis puts the final card in her hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play my Card of Sanctity! Now, both of us draw from our deck until we have six cards in our hands!” Alexis and her evil counterpart draw from their decks until they had six cards in their hands each. The evil Alexis puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play one more Quick-Summon! And I use this spell card to summon my Illusion Ice Statue!” The evil Alexis puts the card on her duel disk and Illusion Ice Statue (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode. The evil Alexis says, with an evil grin, “As long as this card remains on the field, you can only attack it! Plus, my Ice Statue takes the form and the stats of one monster on my side of the field!” Soon after, Illusion Ice Statue transforms into a copy of Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon with 3000/2500 stats! The evil Alexis puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my White Blizzard spell card! If your memory is failing you, let me give you a hint: When my monster destroy your monsters, you lose six hundred life-points!”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “Damn! This attack will take nearly the rest of my life-points! But hopefully, my Hollowed Life Barrier trap card might help me!” Just then footsteps are heard and none other than Jaden, Bastion, Syrus, Blair, Chazz, Tyranno, our Moon Kingdom Sailor Senshi, expect for Mina, Darien, our Zodiac Sailor Scouts, and our four guardian cats, Hyperion, Sol, Luna, and Atriums arrive on the battlefield and gasp at what they see.

 

Tyranno exclaims, “Sam hill! I'm seeing double!”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “What's going on here? Alexis is dueling . . . herself?”

 

Amara says, plainly, “More like she is dueling the `evil her' that she was when she was under the Light of Destruction's control.”

 

Alexis looks at everyone and asks, “What are all of you doing here?”

 

Jasmine tells Alexis, “Jaden called all of us when he witness you leaving his dorm room in the middle of the night.”

 

Mindy asks Alexis, “Alexis, what is going on? Who is that `person' that looks like you when you were in the Society of Light?”

 

The evil Alexis scoffs and tells Alexis, “Looks like your `friends' are a bit slow on the uptake, bitch! To put this in simple terms, I am Alexis! The part of her when she was part of the Society of Light!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Bastion states, shocked, “How is this possible?”

 

Just then the grey cloaked figure comes up to the group and says, “Anything in the universe is possible, my young friends.”

 

Everyone looks at the grey cloaked figure and Darien asks, in a demanding tone, “How are you?! Why are doing this?!”

 

The grey cloaked figure says, in a reassuring tone, “Don't be afraid, Prince Endymon. I am a friend and as you can see, I am not part of the Society of Light.”

 

The group gasps in shock and Serena asks, “You know about us?”

 

The grey cloaked figure tells Serena, “Indeed, I do, Princess Serenity. And what is happening here is the Sun Princess facing her fear? You see, after the duel between Atticus Rhodes, the reincarnation of Prince Apollo of the Sun Kingdom, and Zane Truesdale, Syrus' older brother that has been corrupted into the evil `Hell Kaiser', the Sun Princess wondered if her brother can be turned back to evil, she feared that some of the Light of Destruction's evil influence remained inside of her and she feared turning back into its `Apostle of Light'. In her condition, her fears of being put back into the Society of Light might have become a reality. To conquer her fear, she must duel against the very representation of that fear.”

 

Ami says, knowing the answer, “She needs to face herself when she was nearly under the Light of Destruction's total control.”

 

The grey cloaked figure nods her head and says, “Yes. However, I told her if she faced her fear, if she loses this duel, she might lose everything. I gave her a chance to retreat and find another way, but the taiyou-no-hime chose to face her fear head on. However, as you can see, she is about to be brought to the brink of defeat.”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Jaden exclaims, “No way!”

 

The evil Alexis shouts out, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “No kidding, Jaden! Now, it is time to finish you off, girl, and reclaim our body for the glory of the light! I play White Veil! Remember what this does?! Well, let's just say that in your words: `It gives my dragon a bonus!” Soon after, an icy-white aura surrounded Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon.

 

Alexis gasps in shock and exclaims, “I remember that card! It destroys my spell and trap cards when that monster attacks!”

 

The evil Alexis says, evilly, “That's right, bitch! And it is time to say goodbye! White Night's Dragon, destroy her Prima!” Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon launches its attack on Cyber Prima, Alexis' Hollowed Life Barrier is destroyed by White Veil, and Cyber Prima screams out as she is frozen solid before shattering into pieces causing Alexis to lose 700 life-points. Alexis struggles to stay on her feet from the force of the attack.

 

Alexis shouts out, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

The evil Alexis says, with an evil grin, “And don't forget my White Blizzard spell! You lose six hundred more life-points!” Alexis' life-points then drop by 600 more points, thanks to White Blizzard. The evil Alexis then calls out, “Ice Statue, end her pathetic Blade Skater's career on the ice! Attack!” Illusion Ice Statue, in the form of Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon, fires a freezing beam of energy from its mouth, freezing Blade Skater solid causing it to shatter, and Alexis screams as she is thrown the ground as 1600 life-points are taken from her. The evil Alexis then says, “And plus, thanks to my White Blizzard, you lose six hundred more points!” Alexis' life-points then drop another 600 points, thanks to White Blizzard. The evil Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with an evil smirk, “I think that's enough punishment for now! And remember by sacrificing one spell or trap card on my side of the field, I can make my White Night's Dragon your new target! Good luck!”

Jasmine exclaims, shocked, “That evil fake is got the real Alexis on the ropes!”

 

The evil Alexis says, “Fake, huh?! When I beat this bitch in this duel, I will be the one and only Alexis! Since our body will belong to me, again! And I can continue my mission to bring Jaden into the light!”

 

Alexis gets to a sitting position and groans out, weakly, “Never . . .”

 

The evil Alexis states, tauntingly, “And what are you going to do about it, wrench?! Ha! Some `warrior princess', you turned out to be! You are supposed to be one of the greatest warriors the universe has ever known, but look at you, lying backwards in the dirt by a `fake' if you don't mind me saying so! Admit it, bitch! Between the two of us, I'm the better you and always will be! No matter how your mommies and daddies tried to protect you, you were destined for one fate! This fate!”

 

Mindy exclaims, strongly, “Alexis, you can't listen to her! You're stronger than her! I know it! You're the Queen of Obelisk Blue!”

 

The evil Alexis says, tauntingly, “Ha! What Obelisk Blue?! If my memory serves, the Blue dorm is dead and has been reborn as the White Dorm! If memory serves me right, it was you that did it when you were me! After you became part of the Society of Light, you used the power of light to `brainwash' as they call everyone in the Obelisk Blue Girl's dorm and only Jasmine and Mindy were able to escape from your wrath!”

 

Alexis looks at Jasmine and Mindy and asks them, “Is . . . Is that true?”

 

Jasmine and Mindy look at each other nervously, look back at Alexis, and Jasmine says, nervously and solemnly, “Yeah, it . . . it was. After Chazz brainwashed you into the Society of Light, you went to the Obelisk Blue girls' dorm, dueled practically every girl in our dorm, and converted them into the Society of Light like Chazz did with the Obelisk Blue guys' dorm. Only Mindy and I were able to escape because we hid as best we could.”

 

Alexis gasps in shock and the evil Alexis says, with an evil smirk on her lips, “Well, the truth is revealed! You used your cards and the power of light to convert every student in your dorm! Admit it, girl! Deep down, you wanted only to be the best and you would do anything to get it! The light only revealed who you truly are deep down, Alexis! Now, that you are hiding in the shadows again, you are nothing! You aren't worthy of the new powers given you or the leadership of a team of female warriors that could be the strongest powers in the universe! You know, deep down, that I'm the true you and there is no way you can beat me! So, why don't you surrender this duel and your body to me? You know that you can't defeat the light. You lost to it before and you will lose to it, again, because in this state, you are not strong as me!”

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, solemnly, “She can't be right! But . . . But what is she is telling the truth? I mean if I'm truly so strong, why didn't I resist the Light's hold over me more? Why didn't I stop before I brainwashed my entire dorm? Why didn't I stop . . . before I hurt my friends . . . or Jaden so badly? Maybe I'm not worthy of having the power of the Sun Princess or the leadership of the Zodiac Sailor Scouts.”

 

Jaden then yells to Alexis, strongly, “Don't listen to that fake, Alexis! I know that you can win!” When Alexis looks at Jaden, his crescent moon sigil is glowing brightly and he tells Alexis, in a strong tone, “Alexis, you can't listen to her! She isn't the real you! You're stronger than that and stronger than her! It happened in the past, it's over, and we don't blame you!” Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “You might have been under an evil force's control, but I saw in your eyes that you were struggling and fighting back deep down! I know that you fought back as best as you could and you won the battle for your mind and body back! Sis and I just helped you win back that control! Plus, I've seen you beaten odds like these many times before! Remember Titan of the Shadow Riders or your childhood classmate that took your scarf? They had you down, but you got back up and crushed! And you have all of us to support you, especially me, `Lex! As long as you believe in yourself, your deck, and in us, you can never lose!” Alexis looks into Jaden's eyes and her friends' eyes, sees their support, strength, and caring for her, and her confidence in herself and her abilities rapidly returns.

 

The evil Alexis says, tauntingly, “Ah, how sweet! But it is not going to change what's going to happen in this duel!”

 

Alexis slowly gets to her feet and says, in a strong tone, “We'll see about that!”

 

The evil Alexis replies, evilly, “Ha! So, you prepared to continue on with your humiliation? Fine by me!”

 

Alexis puts her hand on the top card of her deck as she prepares to draw and says, in a strong tone, “We'll going to see who gets humiliated bitch! Jaden's right! I've been feeling sorry for myself for too long! I can't change what I did and I should be letting your damn `master' rule over my life anymore! I'm not going to give up now or ever! Jaden and girls are counting on me to help save the world from the Light of Destruction and I'm not going to damn well let them down!” The top card on Alexis' deck begins to glow as Alexis' determination and confidence reach their peak.

 

The evil Alexis replies, with an evil smirk and evil tone, “Nice speech, dork! But can you back it up?!”

 

Alexis draws one card from her deck and says, “Let's see! I draw!” Alexis then looks at the card and gasps at what she sees. The card in her hand is a Field spell card with an exact duplicate of Crystal Tokyo's palace with clear blue skies and green grass in the background and the card's name is Crystaltropolis. Alexis thinks in her mind, “A Field Spell? Crystaltropolis? I never put this card in my deck. What is it?”

 

Just then a female voice calls out into Alexis' mind, “It is a gift from me and Queen Serenity, my beloved Arinna! Use it to past this test and reclaim the strength you held before you fell under the control of evil, my daughter! No one blames you for what happened and know that as long as you stay true to yourself, your friends, and those you love, you will never fall sway under evil, again! Good luck and know my love is with you.”

 

Alexis gives a wide smile and thinks, “Thank you, Queen Sol. I mean . . . mother.”

 

The evil Alexis asks, nastily, “Hey, what's the smile, wrench?”

 

Alexis replies, with her classic grin, “I'm smiling because you are about to experience defeat.”

 

The evil Alexis says, nastily, “No way, dork! Destiny and the light are on my side!”

 

Alexis replies, as the field spell slot opens on her duel disk, “Let me tell you what I think about you and the Light of Destruction's `destiny' crap! I play the Field Spell: Crystaltropolis!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Syrus asks, perplexed, “That's not a card in her deck!” Alexis puts the Field Spell card in the duel disk's Field Spell slot, it closes, and the whole field changes into a grassy field with blue skies and a duplicate of Crystal Tokyo's Palace appears behind Alexis.

 

Rini exclaims, amazed, “Oh, wow! It looks exactly like my home!”

 

Lita asks, perplexed, “When did she get that card?!”

 

Trista says, with a smile, “Like Queen Serenity protects her son and daughter, Queen Sol tends to do the same.”

 

The evil Alexis asks, perplexed, “What is going on here?! What the hell is that?!”

 

Alexis replies, tauntingly, “Ah, don't tell me that you didn't see this coming?! You've `seen the light' after all, girl! Well, my Crystaltropolis is quite the Field Spell! My new Field Spell can act as my Machine Angel Ritual spell card! You know what that means?!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Bastion states, shocked, “That means she can summon her `Cyber Angels' to the field without the need of her Ritual Spell cards anymore!”

 

Alexis discards two cards from her hand to the graveyard, Cyber Angel Benten (1800/1500) and Etoile Cyber (1200/1600) appear on the field, and Alexis calls out, as she put the Ritual Monster card on her duel disk, “I sacrifice my Benten and my Etoile Cyber to summon my Cyber Angel Dakini!” Benten and Etoile Cyber vanishes in bright lights and in their place, Cyber Angel Dakini (2700/2400) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis then says, with a smile, “And now that Dakini is on the field, she can take out one of your monsters! Like your White Night's Dragon!”

 

The evil Alexis shouts out, shocked, “No!” Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon shatters into pieces as it is destroyed by Dakini's effect.

 

Alexis then says, “Plus, since that overgrown icicle was equipped with that cheating White Veil, you lose life-points equal to your destroyed monster's attack points!” Just then the remains of Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon rain down on the evil Alexis and she screams out as she loses 3000 life-points in one shot.

 

Everyone smiles at this and Jasmine exclaims, “Way to go, Alexis!”

 

Hyperion nods his head and says, “Indeed! Well done, your majesty!”

 

The evil Alexis says, angrily, “So, what?! You might have taken out my dragon, but Illusion Ice Statue still retrains my dragon's form and power! And he has three thousand points to your four armed freak's twenty-seven hundred!”

 

Alexis tells her evil counterpart, “You might want to recheck your math because my Field Spell has another trick! Whenever I destroyed a monster with a spell, trap, or monster effect, all of that monster's original attack points goes to one of my monsters!”

 

The evil Alexis exclaims, stunned, “What?!”

 

Alexis replies, strongly, “You heard me! And since your dragon had three thousand attack points, my Dakini's power rise to nearly six thousand!” Cyber Angel Dakini gets a golden and silver glow around her as her stats increase from 2700/2400 to 5700/2400!

 

Bastion exclaims, amazed, “Great Scott! That's one powerful field spell!”

 

Alexis then tells her evil counterpart, “And if your face-down is a trap card, then you can forget it! Thanks to my Crystaltropolis Field Spell, if I have a monster with `Cyber Angel' in her name on the field when this Field Spell is out, every one of my opponent's spell and trap cards are totally useless! And that means your face-down and your White Blizzard aren't useful to you anymore!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, excitedly, “All right, Alexis, time to end this by breaking the ice!”

 

Alexis calls out, strongly, “You heard Jaden, Dakini! Time to end this! Attack!” Cyber Angel Dakini rushes towards Illusion Ice Statue, still in the form of Blue-Ice White Night's Dragon, leaps up towards it, and slices it apart causing it to take its original form as well as shattering it to pieces. Alexis' evil counterpart screams out as the icicles from her destroyed monster rain down on her causing her to lose 2700 life-points in one shot, ending the duel immediately.

When the final holograms fade away, the evil Alexis fades away into particles of light until she totally vanishes and Alexis goes on her right knee in exhaustion. Her friends immediately leap down to the `arena' and Jaden immediately goes over to her.

 

Jaden asks Alexis, concerned, “Alexis, are you okay?”

 

Alexis looks at Jaden, smiles, and replies, “Yes. Actually, I never felt better. Thank you, Jaden.”

 

Jaden asks Alexis, “For what?”

 

Alexis giggles at Jaden and she says, amused, “Silly. For believing in me and helping me through this.” Alexis then kisses Jaden on the lips, causing Chazz to cringe, Jaden to wildly blush, and everyone else to smile at this event.

 

Jaden replies, with a smile on his lips, “Hey, it was no problem.”

 

Alexis is helped to her feet by Jaden and the grey cloaked figure tells Alexis, “Well done.” When everyone looks at the grey cloaked figure, she says, “You have done very well. You have conquered your fear and defeated it. As long as you remember to trust in yourself, your friends, and those you love, you will always have the strength to win. And as long as remember that, you will never fall under the sway of evil like the Light of Destruction ever again.”

 

Alexis tells the grey cloaked figure, “Thank you for helping realize that. But who are you?”

 

The grey cloaked figure replies, “You don't need to thank me at all. You helped yourself . . . with some aid with your friends and beloved. However, to answer who I am . . . is an answer for another day. However, we will meet again, but when we do, your trust in me not be . . . as much as before.”

 

Rei asks her, “What do you mean by that?”

 

The grey cloaked figure says, “In due time, you will see. Farewell.” The grey cloaked figure then teleports away before our heroes' and heroines' eyes.

 

Ami asks, curiously, “I wonder who she was and what she meant by what she said.”

 

Rei says, plainly, “I didn't sense any evil in her, so, I don't think she is an enemy.”

 

Lita tells Rei, “I don't think she is an enemy because she helped Alexis get over what happened when she was under the control of the Light of Destruction.”

 

Amara then says, plainly, “She might have helped the Sun Princess, but I don't think we should trust her just yet.”

 

Serena asks Amara, “Why not?”

 

Amara replies, plainly, “We don't know who she is or what she wants.”

 

But just then an evil voice booms, “Why should you worry about someone that you don't know about and worry about someone that you do know?!” Everyone gasps in shock, but before anyone can do anything about it, a whip wraps around Jaden's neck and he is thrown away from the others.

 

Alexis calls out, shocked, “Jaden!” When everyone looks to where Jaden is being dragged to, they find him below Jadeite's feet with his left hand holding the whip that's wrapped around Jaden's neck.

 

Darien exclaims, annoyed, “Jadeite, it's you!”

 

Jadeite tells Darien, darkly, “You remember me? I'm touched!” Jadeite then looks down at Jaden, puts his left foot on Jaden's chest, and says, “And I can sense that this Moon brat has finally figured out who is! But for him, it is already too late!”

 

Serena yells out, seriously, “Let him go, Jadeite!”

 

Jadeite says, tauntingly, “Ah, isn't that sweet! The Moon Princess is looking out for her poor twin brother! It's so sickening that I want to gag!” Everyone prepares to get their transformation devices out, but Jadeite puts pressure on Jaden's chest causing him to groan out in pain and he exclaims, “Don't even think about Sailor Saps or your precious Moon Prince is going to become flatter than a pancake!”

 

Blair yells out, angrily, “Let Jaden-senpai go jerk!”

 

Jadeite says, annoyed, “Why don't you be silent pathetic human?!”

 

Atriums asks Luna, “What are we going to do, Luna?”

 

Luna tells Atriums, “I'm not sure, Atriums. If Darien and girls try to transform, our prince will get hurt or killed by Jadeite or by the crossfire. And if we don't, Jadeite will drain our prince every ounce of his energy and might get access to the Silver Crystal since he is bonded to the crystal like his sister. We need a way to get Jaden away from him.”

 

Alexis then steps forward and says, strongly, “Let Jaden go, Jadeite!”

 

Jadeite tells Alexis, “I know who you are, girl! You are the reincarnation of this Moon brat's beloved princess, Princess Arinna of the Sun Kingdom!”

 

Alexis tells Jadeite, seriously, “If you know who am I then you know the power that I hold!” Alexis then takes silver heart-shaped transformation brooch that has a golden and red sun in the center of the brooch with the symbol of twelve Zodiac Sailor Scouts surrounding it along with six golden angel wings attached to the brooch. Alexis tells Jadeite, in a serious tone, “Here's the deal Jadeite: If you give up Jaden, I'll surrender myself and my crystal to you!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Sol exclaims, “Your majesty, what are you doing?!”

 

Jasmine tells Alexis, “You can't, Alexis! Your crystal is just as powerful as Serena's crystal, maybe even more powerful since it has the power of Life inside! Give that to them and Jadeite will have more than enough power to revive the Negaverse and doom the universe!”

 

Alexis tells Jasmine, in a strong tone, “I know what I'm doing, Jasmine!”

 

Jadeite says, with a sly evil grin, “So, you are willing to sacrifice yourself and your birthrate for your boyfriend's life. How noble.”

 

Alexis tells Jadeite, in a serious tone, “What's it going to be Jadeite?! I'm not going to offer this long!”

 

Jadeite tells Alexis, “Fine by me! However, you come over and hold the brooch out! If any of your friends make a move or I hear say your transformation phrase, your boyfriend is a goner!”

 

Alexis says, in a serious tone, “Fine!”

 

Jaden groans out, with Jadeite's foot on his stomach, “Alexis . . . you . . . you can't . . .”

 

Jadeite exclaims, annoyed, “Shut up!”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, “You have to trust me, Jaden.” When Jaden looks into Alexis' eyes, she sees the strength and determination not to give into Jadeite and he sees her make a motion with her eyes looking towards him and up to Jadeite. Jaden slightly nods his head in understand as Alexis holds her brooch out and slowly wake towards Jadeite.

 

Lita shouts out, “We can't let her do this!” Lita then others then prepare to make a move to stop Alexis, but Trista goes out and get in-between them.

 

Trista tells everyone, “No! We have to trust her on this one!”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, worriedly, “Trista-mama, we can't let her surrender to Jadeite and the Negaverse!”

 

Trista tells Hotaru and the others, with a smile, “She isn't surrendering. Just watch and believe in her like she believes in all of us.” Everyone gives Trista perplexed looks and look worriedly as Alexis gets near Jadeite with Jaden under his left foot.

 

Jadeite then says, with an evil smile, “Good girl. Now, keep your brooch held out in front of you.” Jadeite then slowly reaches for Alexis' brooch and soon enough, his attention was diverted for a moment towards Alexis and her brooch. Jaden notices this and quickly taps into his powers as the Prince of the Moon. Just then before Jadeite what happened, Jaden was bathed in silver light and transforms into Prince Judai of the Moon Kingdom. Jadeite exclaims, shocked, “What?!” Prince Judai then grabs to Jadeite's left foot, lifts Jadeite's foot off him, and throws Jadeite off balance. Alexis then clamps onto her brooch and slams her right fist into Jadeite's face, knocking him down on the ground. Prince Judai then rolls to his feet and he, along with Alexis leap back some distance, to get some `range' from Jadeite.

 

Jasmine exclaims, happily, “Way to go, Alexis!”

 

Mindy nods her head and calls out, excitedly, “That's showing that jerk!”

 

Alexis asks Prince Judai, concerned, “Are you okay?”

 

Prince Judai gives his classic smile and replies, “It will take a lot more than some Negaverse general to keep this prince down!” Alexis smiles at her boyfriend and then looks seriously as Jadeite slowly get to his feet.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “All right! I've had enough of evil freaks trying to take over the world and hurting my friends! Now, it's time for some payback!” Alexis puts her transformation brooch to her heart as it begins to slight glow give off a bright golden glow.

 

“Sun Eternal Power, Make-up!”

 

Soon after, Alexis' transformation brooch opens up, revealing her Imperium Sun Crystal, Alexis is bathed in golden light and solar energy flames, and Alexis feels the power flow through her body as her Obelisk Blue uniform is torn away and a sailor fuku wraps around her body. When the light dies down, a brand new Sailor Soldier replaces our Queen of Obelisk Blue.

 

This brand new Sailor Soldier has Alexis' hairstyle expect with beautiful pure golden hair, two sets of three small sparkling golden feathers on the forward portion of her scalp, one set on the left side of her scalp and the other set of feathers on the right side of her scalp, the golden and red sun sigil on her forehead, Alexis' brown eyes, her earrings are sparkling gold and red sun sigil jewels with golden heart and star jewels below the sun sigil jewels, her lips are colored a sparkling gold, her sailor cloth choker is brownish-yellow with a golden heart jewel and a red and gold sun jewel in the center of the choker, her V-style sailor collar is a brownish-yellow color, her shoulder pads are designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's shoulder pads expect they are a beautiful and sparkling icy-blue, her bodysuit is angelic white like the other Sailor Scouts with her new transformation brooch in the bust area of her bodysuit, her gloves are designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's gloves, expect they are fingerless exposing deep blue fingernails with gold and red sun sigils on each fingernail, golden bands on the gloves, and three golden sparkling and small feathers on the bands attached to the ends of the gloves, her mini-skirt is triple layered with brownish-yellow, gold, and cherry red as the colors of the mini-skirt, there is a golden heart jewel with six golden angel wings attached to the heart jewel on the top center portion of the mini-skirt, the bow on the rear of her skirt is designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's bow expect it is a deep blue color, her high-heeled boots are designed like Eternal Sailor Moon boots, expect they are silver in color, golden and red sun sigil jewels on the top center portion of the boots, and two golden angel wings on each heel of the two boots, and six huge and fluffy golden angel wings coming out of her back. Attached to the left side of her mini-skirt is a golden sheath containing a sword with a silver hilt that has a golden and red sun sigil jewel on the top center portion of the hilt and the sword has a sparkling golden blade.

 

Tyranno exclaims, amazed, “Sam hill! So, that's what Private `Lexy looks like when she becomes one of you, girls!”

 

Mindy says, pretty amazed, “Wow! I remember plenty of Alexis' transformations to Sailor Sun back in the Sun Kingdom, but . . .”

 

Jasmine nods her head and says, “I know what you mean, Mindy. It can still be quite awesome.”

 

Prince Judai says, amazed, “Wow. You . . . You look amazing, Alexis.”

 

The new Sailor Scout says, in Alexis' voice, “Thanks, Jaden. However, in this form, you have to call me Eternal Sailor Sun.”

 

Prince Judai nods his head and says, with a smile on his lips, “Right, Sailor Sun!”

 

Jadeite shouts out, angrily, “You will pay for that!”

 

Sailor Sun says, in a serious tone, “The only one that's going to pay is you, Jadeite! Once and for all!”

 

“Solar Nova Vortex!”

 

Sailor Sun launches a sideways twister of solar energy and flames right at Jadeite and he couldn't get away in time as the attack slams into him dead center. Jadeite scream out in extreme pain as the attack slams right into him and the force of the attack sends him right into the wall plastering him right into the wall face. When the attack is over, Jadeite's body is pushed into the wall itself and his body is smoking. His body is badly burned and his eyes are glazed over. Slowly, but surely, Jadeite's body falls down to the ground, stomach and face-first, and leaving a deep impression in the form of Jadeite's body in the wall.

 

Practically, everyone, even Prince Judai, is amazed at the power of the Sailor Soldier of Life and Bastion says, shocked, “Unbelievable.”

 

Darien says, amazed, “Incredible, she is so powerful.”

 

Serena nods her head and says, amazed, “She isn't the Sailor Scout of Sun for nothing.”

 

Syrus says, a bit fearful, “I'm glad that she is back on our side, but remind me never to get her mad.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, nodding his head, “Ten-four on that one, private.”

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, dreamily, “That's Alexis. She is so dominating and so talented.”

 

Jasmine and Mindy notices Chazz's dreamily look and the two of them yell out in unison, “Don't even think about it, Princeton!”

 

Chazz yells out, worriedly, “What?! What?!”

 

Atriums asks, curiously, “Do you think that it is over?”

 

Luna asks Atriums, “I'm not sure, Luna.”

 

Just then a huge amount of negative energy fills the senses of Rei, Amara, Jasmine, Hotaru, Prince Judai, and Sailor Sun and Rei exclaims, “Oh shit! There is a massive negative energy force nearby!”

 

Lita asks Rei, “What?! Where?!”

 

Just then a familiar dark female voice calls out, “Who do you think you rotten Sailor brat?!”

 

Syrus asks, fearfully, “What was that?!”

 

Darien replies, firmly, “It isn't `what', Syrus. It's who and I don't like the answer.” Just then everyone looks to see black and violet `smoke' coming out of the unconscious form of Jadeite and that `smoke' starts to take a female humanoid shape. Soon enough, the female humanoid shape morphs and take the form of none than the mortal enemy of the Inner Scouts and Earth Prince, Queen Beryl of the Negaverse.

 

Serena states, shocked, “It can't be . . .” Immediately, the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, and Earth Prince get in front of Bastion, Syrus, Blair, Chazz, and Tyranno. On the meanwhile, Prince Judai and Sailor Sun draw their swords and get into defensive positions in front of their friends.

 

Jasmine says, seriously, “Get behind us!”

 

Blair asks, curiously, “Who is that?”

 

Rei shouts out, seriously, “The first enemy that we had ever faced and the demon that destroyed the Silver Millennium: Queen Beryl of the Negaverse!”

 

Mindy calls out, shocked, “I don't get! I think you, Moon Kingdom Sailor Soldiers, already took care of her!”

 

Ami says, “With our help, Serena, as Princess Serenity, used the power of the Silver Crystal to destroy Queen Beryl when Queen Metallia fused with her to try to destroy us. I don't understand how she survived.”

 

Queen Beryl says, with a sly grin, “Unlike your other enemies, I was prepared for the worst case scenario. When this idiot, Jadeite, failed me for the last time, I sealed him away, but I also planted something else when I sealed him within the crystal. You see, he does have some uses. When I sealed him away, I planted a piece of my soul within him. When that rotten Moon Princess destroyed me, all of the knowledge and my very self was still inside Jadeite. I knew that fool would somehow survive my destruction since he was sealed within that crystal and with me gone, mostly anyway, he would escape from the prison that I put him in and he did.”

 

Amara says, in a plain tone, “And you used him to regain the energy to revive yourself.”

 

Queen Beryl says, in a dark tone, “Give the Princess of Uranus a prize! Bingo, Sailor Fool! And I must say that duel between him and Serenity's bratty brother really helped as well as his attempt to steal his power. Stupid, but useful I have to say. With all of the energy he gathered, I managed to regenerate myself from within his dark soul and he didn't even know it. I've got to admit, he is still useful to me, even if he is a fool.”

 

Sailor Sun says, strongly, “Whatever evil you're planning, Beryl. It ends here!”

 

Queen Beryl says, tauntingly, “Coming from girls that use to work for an evil force AKA the Light of Destruction.” The group were speechless for a few moments and Queen Beryl says, “Don't be so surprised. I learned everything from Jadeite: From how many more Sailor Brats were awakened to the legendary Light of Destruction that's here through that stupid fortune teller, Sartorius, as well as that stupid Society of Light of his. However, he is an enemy to my plans since even through we are of the negative forces, the Light of Destruction is light and the Negaverse is darkness. So, when I am done with you, brats, that idiot and his stupid Society of Fools is next. However, I need to gather the greatest forces of darkness and there is good news for me on that mater. They are here in Duel Academy. Farewell.” Queen Beryl and Jadeite's unconscious form then get engulfed in shadows and as the darkness fades, so too, the evil queen of the Negaverse and one of her four generals.

 

Prince Judai exclaims, “Wait!” However, it was too late, Queen Beryl and Jadeite were gone.

 

Rei yells out, annoyed, “Oh, great! If we didn't already have enough problems to deal with the Light of Destruction, Beryl has to get back into the action!”

 

Serena says, solemnly, “I thought that nightmare ended long ago.”

 

Darien puts his hands in a comforting fashion around Serena and when she looks at him, he tells her, lovingly, “Don't worry, Sere'. We defeated her before and we will do so again.”

 

Serena says, in a solemn tone, “I know. But before, it took you and the girls dying to defeat her. I'm not sure if I can go through that again.”

 

Darien tells Serena, in a comforting tone, “But this time, you have your brother, Sailor Sun and the Zodiacs, and the rest of the Sailor Senshi from the Moon to help you out.”

 

Serena smiles at her boyfriend and says, “Yes, you're right, Darien. Thank you. I feel much better.” Serena and Darien then share a kiss, not caring if the others are here.”

 

Prince Judai tells Sailor Sun, “Thanks a lot, Alexis. I guess that we're even.”

 

Sailor Sun asks Prince Judai, “What do you mean?”

 

Prince Judai tells Sailor Sun, “I broke you free of the Light of Destruction's control and you saved me from getting my butt handed to me by Jadeite.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Prince Judai, with a smile, “Actually, I still owe you one, Jaden. You helped conquer my fear of losing myself to the Society of Light and that alien freak. And don't you forget it.”

 

Prince Judai says, “Hey, if I learned one thing `Lex, it's not to argue with you.”

 

Sailor Sun tells Prince Judai, “You know it, Jaden.”

 

Jasmine says, with a smile, “Come on, everyone. Let's get out of here.” All our heroes and heroines, taking that advice, head towards the exit to the chamber and towards the exit of the abandoned dorm.

 

(Outside of the abandoned dorm; A short time later)

 

Outside of the abandoned dorm, we find the grey cloaked figure watching our group of heroes and heroines exiting the abandoned dorm and heading along the path to the Slifer Red and Ra Yellow dorms.

 

The figure says, worriedly, “I can sense Queen Beryl's return. This could make my position to aid Serena, Jaden, and Aster defeat the Light of Destruction worse.” The figure removes her cloaked to full reveal herself in the moonlight of the night.

 

The female figure looks to be around the age of eighteen years of age with jet black hair exactly like Darien's hair in color, it flows down her back like Rei's hairstyle, she has deep brown eyes exactly like Darien's eyes, and she is wearing the female white uniform of the Society of Light, expect her uniform has trims of back on the mini-skirt.

 

The female figure says, in a plain tone, “It seems like the bonds between my brother, Endymon, and Princess Serenity are just as strong as with Prince Judai and Princess Arinna. However, I'm going to have made the bonds between Prince Judai's court and friends and their soulmates within the Sailor Senshi come together. I just have to work behind the lines while pretending to be a part of the Society of Light. When Alexis Rhodes helped take over the female dorm, I managed to create an elaborate ruse that I lost to a Society member and `saw the light' as well as use my powers to make the Light of Destruction sense that I was `linked' to him. However, I don't know how long my ruse will last. I might have to make my move, soon.” The female figure then leaps down from the trees and starts running back towards the White Dorms.

 

Next time in Chapter 10: Pros and the Ultimate Destiny Card: In the aftermath of Queen Beryl's return, our heroes and heroines are on high alert for any trouble from the evil Negaverse Queen, but on the meanwhile, they, along with the non-brainwashed members of the student body, continue their efforts against the Society of Light. However, there is still a problem with all of the Pro Duelists within the tournament and they aren't going to wait around for the defeat of the Society of Light to duel students in the tournament. However, with some help by Damon and Little Belowski, the `Pro tide' might be turned back. On the meanwhile, Jasmine and Mindy are surprised attack by the eighth ranked Pro Duelist known as the Maitre'd and the pro is beating both of them. However, when the Pro Duelist gets the two Zodiac Sailor Scouts mad, they unleash their rage through Cyber Angel Athena of Jasmine's deck and another brand new Cyber Angel that Mindy got, showing them that they might be nice, but they aren't pushovers. Next, Aster and Zane `bump into each other' and Syrus, who has been dueling to `feel ready' to duel with brother with Power Bond, is forced to come into the duel. However, Zane uses the same shocks that he was put under in the Underground Dueling Tournaments and even through Syrus holds his own, Zane's Cyber Dark Dragon might be too much for the little guy. Finally, after that duel is done, Jaden and his friend watch a Championship Match between two pro duelists, Doctor Collector, a criminal with a powerful mind, and The D, the Champion of the Pro League for ten years, and Aster's foster father! Doctor Collector looks to have the edge with his `Spellcaster Lock' deck, but then the evil Darklight appears within the tournament and The D is the host! Using his `ultimate monster', Doctor Collector is defeated and mysterious disappears! When Aster goes to The D's private boat, he finds out the shocking truth about what happened to his father and that The D himself holds the Ultimate Destiny Hero card that Aster's father created! What is the shocking truth about The D and Aster's father?! What is the secret behind the `Ultimate D' card?! What is the connection between The D and the evil Light of Destruction that possesses Sartorius?! Find out all of the answers in the next dramatic and action packed episode!

 

Well, here it is! The latest chapter in the saga! Sorry that it is longer than the other chapters that I did, but there was a lot more material that I had to put in than I realize. Oh, well, they look smaller in the planning stages, if you get what I mean.
