Well, I'm back with a brand new chapter and I'm glad to see that my latest chapter is a success. For all of you that reviewed my story, thus far, I would like to thank you because it is your reviews that allowed me to keep this story going. Anyway, the final battle is coming up and I'm sorry for not too many scenes with Yugi, Atem, and their crew involved. I've tried to add them in, but I can't seem to integrate them into the story too well. Hopefully, in the sequel, I will find a way to integrate them into the story better. Well, this is the last chapter with Yugi, Atem, and co. involved as well as the revived Queen Beryl and the reviving Negaverse along with Jadeite and the Negaverse-brainwashed Zane. I'm gathering ideas for the sequel and I hope to have one up by the start of the new school semester coming this fall. But I will tell you that it will involve Yugi, Atem, and co. along with Queen Beryl, Jadeite, and Zane and the Millennium Items as one part of the storyline. By the way, expect some Rei/Aster and Atem/Tea in this chapter and possible other `romantic moments' with the other couples in this story, Jaden/Alexis, Serena/Darien, Chazz/Jasmine, Lita/Tyranno, Mina/Atticus, Ami/Bastion, and Hotaru/Syrus, but there will be major `romantic moments' coming in the end of the story. Plus, I would like to give thanks and credit to V-4-VeNdEtTa and this author's story of `Sailor Moon?' for the idea of the Sailor Scout known as Sailor Universe. However, I can't tell you anymore than that and it is time to continue on with the show!

Chapter 14: Prelude to the Final Battle

 

(The morning following the duel between Lady Eris and Aster; Early morning on Academy Island)

 

Sometime after sunrise on Academy Island, we find Yugi Moto, the former spirit of the Millennium Puzzle and former Pharaoh of Egypt, Atem, Tea Gardner, Joey Wheeler, and Tristan Taylor walk towards the lighthouse into the harbor of Academy Island. In the hands of the former Pharaoh, we find a scroll-like note with some ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs, the written language of ancient Egypt of Atem's first life.

 

Tea asks Atem, “Atem, are you sure about this?”

 

Atem tells Tea, “Yes, Tea. I'm sure about this. I don't know why, but I'm sure we can trust the person that wrote this letter.”

 

Joey asks Atem, curiously, “Hey, Atem, what does that letter say?”

 

Tristan tells Atem, nodding his head in agreement with Joey, “Yeah, not all of us can read ancient Egyptian.”

 

Atem tells Tristan and Joey, “Well, the letter say: `My Pharaoh, I wish I can tell you who I am, but I can't tell you in this letter. There is an important matter that I need to discuss with you and your friends. Come to the harbor in the early morning with only your friends, Yugi Moto, Tea Gardner, Joey Wheeler, and Tristan Taylor. This is matter of the safety of the world and possibly the universe. A friend' And that's what the letter says.”

 

Yugi says to Atem, “It seems like this `friend' knows about you and us as well as writing in ancient Egyptian.”

 

Tea asks, curiously, “Who do you think that it is?”

 

Yugi says, shaking his head, “I wish that I knew, Tea. However, I do feel the same as Atem. That we know this person.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “That you do former vessel of my Pharaoh.” Everyone whips their heads to the source of the voice to find none other than Shadi standing in front of them.

 

Yugi and Atem yell out in unison, surprised, “Shadi!”

 

Shadi gives a bow in front of Atem and says, in his usual tone, “It is a good to see you, again, my Pharaoh. It has been sometime.”

 

Joey asks, a bit fearfully, “Should you be at your final rest or something?”

 

Shadi replies, “I was. That is until the disturbance from the Light of Destruction that forced my Pharaoh to return to the mortal world to aid the newest generation of defenders of this planet.”

 

Atem tells Shadi, curiously, “So, you sensed it as well.”

 

Shadi tells Atem, in a serious tone, “I did, oh, my Pharaoh, but that's not why I have summoned you and your friends here. I have managed to find the base that belongs to the enemy of the Moon Princess and the evil one that destroyed the Silver Millennium of Queen Serenity of the Lunarian Kingdom, Queen Beryl of the Negaverse.”

 

The group gasps in shock and Joey yells out, in a serious tone, “Well, what are you waiting for pal?! Tell us already! All of us can get in there and kick her fat ass.”

 

Tea tells Joey, nervously, “You mean that the Sailor Scouts can get in there and kick Beryl's ass while we watch.”

 

Joey tells Tea, drolly, “Thanks for the positive encouragement, Tea.”

 

Shadi tells them, “I'm afraid that I can't tell since she isn't there anymore.”

 

Yugi asks Shadi, “Wait a minute! She left? Why?”

 

Shadi tells Yugi, Atem, and their friends, “It is because she went after the Millennium Items buried within the ruins of the tomb that held the Millennium Stone in Egypt.”

 

Yugi, Atem, and their friends gasp in shock and Atem exclaims, horrified, “With that kind of dark power until her control, Queen Beryl and Negaverse could become nearly unstoppable! Not even Sailor Moon's Silver Crystal could stop up to him!”

 

Shadi nods his head and tells Atem, “That's why you and your friends must leave for Egypt as soon as possible and get to the Millennium Items before she does.”

 

Tea asks Shadi, “What about the Society of Light and the Light of Destruction?”

 

Shadi tells Tea, “This is a battle for the three Chosen Duelists to finish. Only Aster Phoenix, Jaden Yuki, and the Moon Princess have the power to stop this evil, but your aid was vital to prepare them for the battle with the Light of Destruction to come. However, your second journey had just begun and their journey is interlock with yours. You will meet with them again, but for now, they must be left to handle the battle with Light of Destruction on their own. You need to start the next phase of your second journey and stop the Negaverse from getting the Millennium Items.”

 

Joey says, with a serious tone, “Oh, man! With the kind of super-natural powers that they have, they have a major head start! They'll be able to get to all seven items since they are in one place.”

 

Shadi tells Joey, with a smile, “That's where you are wrong, Joseph Wheeler. They won't be able to get all of the items because not all of the items are there.” Shadi then goes through his cloak and reveals the Millennium Puzzle, Millennium Necklace, and Millennium Scales.

 

Atem yells out, shocked, “My Millennium Puzzle!”

 

Shadi nods his head and says, “Yes, my kind. In reply to the threat, I've managed to spread the Millennium Key and the Millennium Eye to other locations in the world, the Millennium Rod is safety back in the hands of Marik, Ishizu, and Odion, who already know of the situation and are prepare to aid when you arrive in Egypt, I will take care of the Millennium Scales, and you and one of your friends must take care of the Millennium Puzzle and Millennium Necklace.”

 

Tristan tells Shadi, “Hold on, Shadi! What happened to the Millennium Ring?”

 

Shadi tells Tristan, solemnly, “I couldn't remove it from the tomb and if Queen Beryl and the Negaverse retrieve it, they might be able to find the other items with its unique ability to sense other items.”

 

Atem tells Shadi, taking the Millennium Puzzle and Millennium Necklace into his hands, “However, Shadi, you have given us a better chance to get all of the items from her before she gathers all seven and uses them to revive the Negaverse, becoming a bigger threat than she already is.”

 

Yugi tells Atem, “That's right, Atem. And now, with the Millennium Puzzle back in your hands, you don't have to use Jaden's Shadow Charm to tap into summon real Shadow Monsters for battling against our foes.”

 

Atem tells Yugi, with a smile, “Yes. This shall come in very handy.” Atem puts the Millennium Puzzle around his neck, it glows with a bright light, and the Millennium Symbol appears on his forehead, showing the power of the Millennium Puzzle has returns to its original owner.

 

Yugi tells his friends, “We had better tell Jaden and the others of our plans and then after that, we need to drop out of the GX tournament and immediately make plans to get to Egypt.” Atem and the rest of Yugi's friends nod their heads in agreement as they along with Shadi head off to the Slifer Red dorm to inform Jaden, Serena, and their friends about what's going on.

 

(Sometime later that morning; Inside of the Slifer Red dorm)

 

Within the redesigned room of the Slifer Red dorm, we find Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, Tyranno, Syrus, Bastion, Atticus, Jasmine, Mindy, Blair, Danielle, Sara, Keiko, Reece, Kanu, Serena, Darien, Rini, Ami, Mina, Rei, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, Michelle, Trista, and the four guardian felines, Luna, Atriums, Sol, and Hyperion, in front of Yugi, Atem, Joey, Tristan, and Tea along with Shadi as they explain the situation to them. When they were done explaining, they group gasp in shock and horror.

 

Luna yells out, horrified, “By the goddess Selene, if they get their hands on the Millennium Items and use them to revive the Negaverse, not even Serena with the Silver Crystal can stop them!”

 

Darien says, seeing Atem with the Millennium Puzzle, “However, it looks like they won't be able to get the all of the Millennium Items right away.”

 

Lita tells Yugi and his friends, in a serious tone, “However, you won't be able to hold them off forever!”

 

Serena says, curiously, “Maybe we should go with you.”

 

Shadi shakes his head and says, “No. You are needed here with your brother and Aster Phoenix. The Light of Destruction needs to be stopped and you are one of the three Chosen Duelists. Until the Light of Destruction is sealed away for all time, you can't leave Duel Academy.”

 

Atriums tells Shadi, “Yes, but you can't fight Queen Beryl and the Negaverse by yourself. Even with the Egyptian God Monsters aiding you!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, Serena, and their friends and loved ones, “Even through we can't hold her off forever, my friends and I can hold her off long enough for the rest of you to follow and we can find the other Millennium Items and get them before she can. She will most likely get the Millennium Ring, which is still trapped in the ruins of the tomb that held the Millennium Stone, but if we can retrieve the other items, we will be okay.”

 

Amara says, in a plain and serious tone, “I'm still not sure that we should allow you to head off by yourself against Queen Beryl and the Negaverse, but we can't just leave our princess alone against the Light of Destruction.”

 

Alexis says, with a serious tone, “No joke! That alien freak has already caused us enough trouble already!”

 

Atem tells everyone, “This is why you must continue the battle with the Light of Destruction and allow us to head off to gather the Millennium Items to keep Queen Beryl at bay until you can follow us. We will be just fine since my friends and I faced similar dangers and somewhat even greater dangers than this.”

 

Trista tells Atem, “You and your friends might have faced the fury of Zorc, a creature that's rivals Chaos and exceeds Beryl and the Negaverse, but even through you've witnessed some of what the Negaverse can do, you aren't fully prepared for what the Negaverse can do.”

 

Tea tells Trista, “It seems like they have switched their strategy to dueling to get the energy that they need. If that's the case, we will be okay since many of us are expert duelists, especially Yugi and Atem.”

 

Joey tells Trista, with a confident tone, “Besides, Yug', the Pharaoh, and I experience plenty of Shadow Games and let me tell you, they aren't easy on the body and mind.”

 

Rei says, with a serious tone, “Well, I still don't think that it is a good idea for all of you to face the Negaverse alone.”

 

Shadi then says, in his usual tone, “However, it is not a favorable idea to leave the princess and her brother since they are two of the people that hold the power that the Light of Destruction needs to rule the entire universe. I know that her majesty, Princess Serenity, and you, her guardians, see that this is a terrible idea, but it is the only way. All of you need to remain to defeat the Light of Destruction before you can follow Queen Beryl in her quest to revive the Negaverse with the Millennium Items.”

 

Syrus asks, worriedly, “What about Zane?!”

 

Shadi shakes his head and says, with a solemn tone, “I'm sorry, young Truesdale. His heart is filled with darkness and his mind belongs to the Negaverse.” Syrus lowers his head in solemn expression with a few tears coming from his eyes.

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, reassuringly, “Don't worry, Syrus-chan. I'm sure that we can bring your brother back. Serena-hime has healed others before and I'm sure that he can restore Zane back to who he was.”

 

Shadi says, with a plain and logical tone, “She might be able to free his mind, but freeing someone's heart that has willing embraced the darkness and negative feelings of his heart is another story.”

 

Tyranno says, drolly, “Thanks for the pep talk, soldier.”

 

Jaden asks Serena, curiously, “What do you want to do sis?”

 

Serena replies, nervously, “I don't know. I really don't think that Yugi, Atem, and their friends should be facing Beryl alone. She was our first foe, but she is very dangerous and like a snake, deadly if you get too close not knowing what she can do.”

 

Ami says, with her plain and logical tone, “True. However, we can't leave Duel Academy until we defeat the Light of Destruction. Only Serena, Jaden, and Aster have the power to defeat Sartorius and save the universe from being brainwashed with the whole universe dying off soon after with the balance of life destroyed.”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “Oh man! As if we didn't have more problems as it already is!”

 

Atem tells Jaden, Serena, and all of their friends, “I know that we don't seem like much, but we can handle ourselves for the time being. You need to trust us.”

 

Michelle asks Serena, “It is your call, Serena. We can't leave Duel Academy until we defeat the Light of Destruction, but it may not be a good idea for the Negaverse to be roaming around and only Atem, Yugi Moto, and their friends to keep them at bay. What do you decide?”

 

Serena gives a loud sigh and says, after giving this some thought, “I really don't like Atem, Yugi, and his friends going off against the Negaverse without us, but we can't leave or we won't have to worry about Beryl since the whole universe will be the under the control of the Light of Destruction before dying off. I don't like this choice, but we are going to have to trust Atem and his friends for now.”

 

Yugi tells Serena, with a friendly smile, “Thank you, Serena.”

 

Atem says, nodding his head in understanding, “Thank you for your trust in us.”

 

Jasmine asks Alexis, “Okay, so, what should we do?”

 

Alexis tells Jasmine, in a plain tone, “What do you think, Jaz? We finish that space freak and the rest of his Society and after the school year, we immediately head out to Egypt to follow Atem and the others to stop Beryl and the Negaverse.”

 

Mindy says, with her usual tone, “Sounds like a plan.”

 

Amara tells Serena, “If that's what you decide, princess, then I will honor that choice.” The other three Outer Sailor Scouts nod their heads in agreement with our Moon Princess.

 

Serena smiles and replies, “Thank you.”

 

Tea says, with a serious tone, “We had better go to Chancellor Sheppard to tell him that we are going to leave the school and the GX tournament.”

 

Atem says, with a serious tone and a nod, “Good idea.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines move towards the main building of Duel Academy and Chancellor Sheppard's office for Atem, Yugi, and their friends inform Chancellor Sheppard about `recent events' that will force Yugi, Atem, and their group to `drop out' of Duel Academy for `very important business'.

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, in his usual snobbish tone, “Good! The less competition, the better! I'll beat Yugi Moto one day and get the title of King of Games one day, but not until I defeat the one duelist that's my one true rival: Jaden Yuki! His sister has a similar deck to that Slacker, but she is nothing compared to me and Jaden! After this whole mess with those Society Geeks and that brainwashing alien freak is over, Jaden is all mine and even through he has a stronger deck, I will finally defeat him once and for all!”

 

(Within Chancellor Sheppard's office; Sometime later)

 

Inside of Chancellor Sheppard's office, we find Atem, Yugi, Tea, Tristan, Joey, Rebecca, and Duke assembled together in front of Chancellor Sheppard with our heroes and heroines behind them and Atem and his friends are explaining about what happened to Zane Truesdale in full as well as the present situation with the Negaverse. And with every new situation that has come to him when he returned to Duel Academy, you have to say him being shocked is a major understatement.

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, with a sigh, “I was afraid that Truesdale would get himself into trouble like this, but I thought that the dark powers of the Underworld deck were the major danger. I never thought that he would be in league with a evil force like that.”

 

Atem tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Chancellor Sheppard, I can assure you that our friends and I will try our best to bring him back from the darkness. However, all of us can't go at once. Serena and Jaden need to remain here at Duel Academy to handle the Light of Destruction and what remains of the Society of Light.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, with a nod, “Yes, which I believe thanks to Serena, Jaden, and all of their friends, they barely have any members left.”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Well, it was nothing.”

 

Serena tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “Give me a break, bro.”

 

Jaden asks Serena, surprised, “Are you okay, Serena? You never called me that before.”

 

Serena tells Jaden, with a smile, “You are my brother after all, Jaden. I don't think it would be good manners for a sister not to call you `brother' or `bro' at least once in a while right?”

 

Michelle says, with a smile, “Serena does bring a good point, Jaden.”

 

Yugi tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Anyway, Chancellor Sheppard, we would wish to drop out of the GX tournament without major fanfare and leave immediately on `important business'.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Yugi and his friends, “Well, it is your choice to leave the GX tournament and Duel Academy, but I can't promise no `fanfare' because of your status, Mr. Moto.”

 

Yugi tells Chancellor Sheppard, with a smile, “Call me `Yugi', Chancellor Sheppard. And I already know about the `risks' of being the King of Games.”

 

Joey tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Don't worry, sir, we've been taking our pal ever since high school. You can count on Tristan and me to keep plenty of crazy fans off his back!”

 

Atem gives a slight giggle and says, “Yes, I'm sure that you can, Joey.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Yugi, Atem, and the others, “All right. I'll arrange for a transport helicopter to take you off of Duel Academy, but who are you going to give your GX medals to. Between the seven of you, you won plenty of medals.”

 

Yugi and his friends look at Jaden and the others and Tea says, with a wide grin, “Oh, I'm sure that we know of somebody that will take care of our medals.” Chancellor Sheppard gives a wide smile as he brings to type on his computer and start making plans for Yugi's, Atem's, and their friends' departure from the GX tournament and Duel Academy to go after Beryl and the Negaverse.

 

Jaden asks, curiously, “Who do you mean anyway, Tea?” Everyone, minus Mina, gave a major sweatdrop at this.

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “Oh, Jaden.”

 

Chazz says, annoyed, “How did this spazz ever beat me?!”

 

Jasmine thinks in her mind, with a nervous smile, “Chazz . . .”

 

(At the beach; Sometime soon after)

 

At Duel Academy's beach, we find Tea and Atem walking down at the beach and watching the beautiful ocean in front of them. Chancellor Sheppard informed Yugi, Atem, and the others that the transport helicopter will take sometime to arrive and Tea asked Atem to come with them to beach. The others, expect for Yugi, wonder why, but Yugi told them to leave them alone for awhile. Atem wondered why Tea called him out, but part of him was glad that she called him out for some `alone time'.

 

After a while of walking and watching the ocean and the clear blue skies, Atem, the Millennium Puzzle still hanging around his neck, asks Tea, a bit nervously, “Tea, why . . . did you call me out here without Yugi and the others? Is there something wrong?”

 

Tea gains a blush on her cheeks and says, “No! No! Nothing's wrong! It's just . . . We're close friends, right?”

 

Atem replies, nervously, “Right.”

 

Tea thinks in her mind, nervously and with a major blush in her cheeks, “Damn it, Tea! You are starting to sound like a complete idiot! You are in your late twenties, a young woman! But why is it so hard to express your feelings to someone, even if it is a guy that lived five thousand years ago, recently brought back from a magical item in the body of your best friend, and just brought back into your life after just one decade? Guess I answered my own question.”

 

Atem sees the nervous and blush in Tea's cheeks and he asks her, concerned, “Tea, is there something wrong? You seem very nervous.”

 

This snaps Tea out of her train of thoughts and she thinks in her mind, nervously, “Well, Tea, it is now or never!” Gathering up her courage, Tea tells Atem, “Atem, it has been a long time since we've seen each other, right?”

 

Atem replies, a bit nervously, “Yes. Around ten years if I'm not mistaken.”

 

Tea nods her head and says, “And you know that I'm not married at all.”

 

Atem tells Tea, nodding his head in agreement, “That's right. You and Yugi told me that you were like brother and sister in your `relationship' and you didn't want to ruin your friendship because of that. You said that you are looking for the right guy.”

 

Tea nods her head and says, with a blush in her cheeks, “Yes, Atem, that's right.” Tea then asks Atem, “Atem, how did you like our `date' just before the Battle City tournaments over ten years ago?”

 

Atem was perplexed by that question and he replies, recalling his memories of that time, “Well, it was to help me about find my memories of my ancient past, but I found it very enjoyable. I was worried about you when you went against that Johnny Steps character. But I have to admit the way that you beat him in that dancing game is very incredible and very beautiful.”

 

Tea asks, with a slight blush in her cheeks, “You really thought I was amazing out there?”

 

Atem replies, with his own blush in his cheeks, “Yes, I really do, Tea. The way that you moved your body and how your dances were so perfect even when Steps tried to cheat, it was very beautiful and incredible. You had great talent and ability. I wish that I had told you that sooner.”

 

Tea asks Atem, with her blush still on her cheeks, “Thank you, Atem. Do you remember when I said I was looking for the right guy to become `involved' with?”

 

Atem asks Tea, a bit nervously and a bit solemnly, “Yes?”

 

Tea tells Atem, with a nervous smile, “Well, I know who I want to be with.”

 

Atem asks Tea, curiously, “Who, Tea?” Tea then unexpectedly goes over to him and kisses the former spirit of the Millennium Puzzle right on the lips with great love and passion causing our former Pharaoh to greatly blush, but then Atem wraps his arms around Tea's waist and moves into the kiss with the same passion and love. They mated their tongues together and tasted each other's saliva and mouths for a minute, but then the Millennium Puzzle starts to glow and when they break off the kiss, Atem and Tea are engulfed in a bright light forcing both of them to close their eyes. When the light dies down and they are able to open their eyes, Tea and Atem find themselves hovering over Atem's palace in ancient Egypt over five millennia in the past.

 

Tea asks Atem, “What's going on?”

 

Atem looks at Tea, gasps in shock, and exclaims, “Tea, look at yourself!” Tea quickly looks over herself, gasps to see she is wearing the same clothes that she wore during her date with Atem before the Battle City tournament, and she was reduced in age to 17 to 18 years of age.

 

Tea asks, perplexed and in her younger voice, “I'm younger, again! What's going on here?!”

 

Atem tells Tea, “I don't know, Tea! But I think the Puzzle has something to do with it!”

 

Tea looks down at the scene before them and exclaims, pointing to it, “Atem, look down there!” When Atem looks where Tea is pointing, we find a mysterious silver cloaked feminine figure nearly the palace wall and looking around to see if anyone has spotted her. Soon after, the feminine figure with incredible agility and super-speed, bounds over the wall, and down towards the ground, doing three forward flips to slow her descent, and perfectly landing on the ground with two feet and not getting injured in the least. Soon after, this figure quickly move towards the palace with incredible speed without being scene and leaps up and through a window that would a few stories in modern-day building height. Tea says, amazed, “Wow. She is good.”

 

Atem says, with a serious look and tone, “Yes, she is. I may have most of my memories back, but some of memories are still missing. I don't remember this, but I know deep down in my heart that this is an important memory of mine.”

 

Tea asks Atem, curiously, “Are you sure?”

 

Atem nods his head and says, “Yes, my heart is telling me so.” Just then Atem and Tea are teleported into the palace as they watch the silver cloaked female figure walk down the hallways of the palace until she is spotted by palace guards.

 

One of the palace guards yell out in serious tone, “Halt! Stop in the name of the Pharaoh!” However, the silver cloaked figure quickly runs away and chased by the palace guards, but she moves with such speed and ability the female cloaked figure quickly nearly loses the guards, however, they see her bound into a corner. But when the two guards follow her, they find that she has vanished.

 

The first palace guards yell out, “What in the name of Ra is this magic?! How could this intruder have vanished so quickly?!”

 

The second palace guard tells the first, “I don't know, but we must inform the priests and warn the Pharaoh! His life might be in danger!” Immediately, the two palace guards run off in separate directions to find the Pharaoh and the Seven Priests, the guardians and court of the King of Ancient Egypt. However, what they didn't know is the silver cloaked figure is hanging onto the ceiling with using the heels of two high-heeled shoes similar to Sailor Neptune's shoes, expect they are pitch black in color, on her feet and a beautiful looking specter with a golden staff, a large diamond shaped like upside down Chaos Emerald from the Sonic video games with a golden sideways infinity symbol imprinted in the center of the diamond, ten golden rings surrounding the diamond with a small silver crystal orb in each ring with the symbols of Mercury, Venus, the Earth, the golden crescent moon, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto with one symbol in each crystal orb.

 

The female figure says, in a familiar female voice, “That was close. Next time, I can't be so careless.” Soon after, the cloaked female figure bounds down to the ground using the walls with amazing agility and grace. The female figure says, with a serious tone, “Now, to get to work and find that creature before it finds its way to the Pharaoh and his son.” The female figure then quickly rushes off at incredible super-speed while Atem and Tea, ghosts in this `memory', continue to watch with amazement and interest.

 

Atem thinks in his mind, “There is something very familiar about her, but I don't know what. It is as if I know her.” Soon after, the scene switches to the throne room where we find Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen, Atem's father, and sixteen year old Atem in the throne room with Priests Seto, Kalim, Isis, Mahad, Shada, and Akhenaden as one of the guards that spotted the figure with another group of royal guards explain the situation with the `intruder' to them.

 

Tea asks, pointing to the Atem's father, “Atem is that your . . .”

 

Atem nods his head and replies, “Yes, it is. That's my father. This is a few years or so before he died and I took the throne when Thief Bakura started to steal the seven items to take over the world by releasing Zorc as well as Akhenaden's betrayal.”

 

Seto yells at the guard, angrily, “Well, have you found the intruder, yet?!”

 

The guard replies, nervously, “Well . . . not yet, Lord Seto . . . this person possessed unearthly amounts of strength and speed . . .”

 

Akhenaden says, with a serious tone, “This person might be possessed by a powerful Ka or possess powerful Heka!” (Note: Ka is ancient Egyptian for `spirit' and Heka is ancient Egyptian for `magic'.)

 

Mahad says, in a serious tone, “If that's the case, then we must be careful around this intruder.”

 

Seto tells the guards, in a serious tone, “And why this intruder needs to be found and tried for trespassing the sacred palace of the Pharaoh! Find this intruder and bring this one before us immediately!”

 

Just then another voice calls out, “My king! My king!” However, another group of royal guards rush into the room, but the `Memory Atem' gets a bad feeling from them.

 

`Memory Atem' thinks in his mind, “Something inside me tells me of danger!” On the meanwhile, the silver cloaked figure appears behind the walls, hidden from view.

 

Seto asks, seriously, “What is it?!”

 

The `leader' of this group of guards says, with a concerned tone, but an unnoticed evil gleam in his eyes, “There seems to be another intruder in the palace! A monstrous creature that has already taken out a group of guards and seemly drained them of their energy!”

 

Atem, his father, and the six priests gasp in shock from this information and Seto yells out, in a demanding tone, “Where is this creature?!” Just then the Millennium Ring around Mahad's neck starts to glow with a bright light and points ahead of them.

 

When the other priests look at him, he exclaims, seriously, “This cannot be right! My Millennium Ring is telling me that the evil is here before us!”

 

Just then Atem looks at the guards, gasps in shock, and exclaims, “Look out! The guards!” The seven priests look ahead of them and gasp as the guards give evil grins and evil auras around them.

 

The `leader' of the group says, with an evil tone, “Actually, `Lord Seto', `Lord Mahad' is right! And `the intruder' is right here!” Just then all of the `guards' melt into black puddles of evil muck, they come together, and transform into a evil demonic creature with a female shape with blood red hair, blood red eyes, black bodysuit covering its body, two foot long claws instead of hands, and black high-heeled boots on its feet with two giant demonic wings coming out of its back. The evil creature, hovering in mid-air and open its mouth to revealing a pair of vampire-like fangs coming out of its mouth, yells out, darkly, “However, it is too little, too late! Now, prepare to surrender your energy to me!”

 

Seto yells out, in a commanding tone, “I don't think so, vile demon! Guardians of the Pharaoh, summon your strongest Shadow Creatures!”

 

The evil creature calls out, darkly, “Wrong! No one defeats Vampira!” The evil creature creates a huge whirlwind that knocks the seven priests off their feet and onto the ground, hard.

 

`Memory Atem' quickly goes over in front of his father and tells him, “Father, you are not well! Stay behind me!”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen rises to his feet, stands in front of his son, and says, seriously, “No, my son! I am the King of Egypt and I must do what I must to rid the palace of this evil!”

 

`Memory Atem' tells his father, worriedly, “But father . . .”

 

Vampira says, with an evil sick smile on its lips, “How sweet! I just shall take both of your power to feed mine own!”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, strongly, “Wrong, you disgusting demon!” Everyone looks around for the source of the voice and then they see the silver cloaked figure come from the shadows into view.

 

The royal guard that saw her before and yells out, “That's the one! That's the intruder from before!”

 

Vampira yells out, seriously, “Who are you?!”

 

The silver cloaked figure says, in the strong female voice used before, “I believe that you remember me.” The silver cloaked figure then produces her specter in her right hand and Vampira gasps in shock and horror.

 

Vampira shouts out, horrified, “No! Not you!”

 

The silver cloaked figure says, seriously, “That's right, pal!” The silver cloaked figure then throws off her cloaked and reveals a Sailor Scout look-a-like of Tea in front of everyone, including the real Atem and Tea.

 

Atem and Tea gasp in shock and Tea yells out, stunned, “She . . . She looks exactly like me!”

 

Indeed, this Sailor Scout looks a lot like Tea. This Sailor Scout is the same age as the `Memory Atem' with Tea's brown hair in her hairstyle, she has a silver tiara across her forehead with a golden sideways infinite symbol jewel in the center of the tiara, Tea's deep blue eyes, deep pink colored lips, she has golden sideways infinity symbols above golden heart jewels as her earrings, her cloth choker is dark pink in color with the golden sideways infinity symbol jewel in the center, her V-style sailor collar is pitch black in color, her bodysuit is pure white in color with a heart-shaped brooch similar to Sailor Moon's Cosmic Brooch, the one that she got when she got the Moon Heart Specter in Sailor Moon S, expect it was in a rainbow of colors with the golden infinity symbol in the center, she has a pair of white gloves with black bands on her hands up to her elbows, her mini-skirt is a beautiful dark pink in color with a ruby red bow attached to the rear of the mini-skirt, and she has a pair of high-heeled shoes similar to Sailor Neptune's high-heeled shoes expect they are pitch black in color on her feet. In her right hand is the beautiful specter she is carrying when she was covered by her cloak.

 

`Memory Atem' thinks, amazed, “This young woman is wearing clothing similar to the guardians of the daughter of Queen Serenity! Who is she?”

 

Vampira yells out, shocked and horrified, “Sailor Universe?! How did you find me here?!”

 

The new Sailor Scouts that looks similar to Tea, Sailor Universe, replies, in Tea's voice, through a bit more womanly and a bit more mature sounding, with a strong tone, “Simple, you foul demon. I followed your evil stench all the way to the Pharaoh's palace. I knew that you would attempt something this vile and try to attack the ruler of this peaceful kingdom on Earth! Now, prepare to be chastised for your crimes and sent the depths of the underworld where you belong, youma!”

 

Meanwhile, the real Tea and Atem who were watching all of this `play out' were amazed and Tea says, stunned, “That Sailor Scout even sounds like me! But how is that possible?! And who is she?! And why she look so . . . so familiar to me?!”

 

Atem thinks in his mind as the memory of this day returns to him, he gasps in shock, and he thinks, glancing at Tea, “Could Tea be . . . If that's so, then that Sailor Scout is Tea's past life from the Silver Millennium!”

 

Vampira roars out, angrily, “Never! I will not be destroyed by a teenager princess like you, Universe! Die!” Vampira's right arm extends like a rubble band and with her claws pointing straight at Sailor Universe, this youma intends to kill her.

 

`Memory Atem' yells out to Sailor Universe, concerned, “Watch out!” However, before Vampira's attack can strike, Sailor Universe leaps high into the air, avoiding the attack, and she lands on Vampire's outstretched arm, using it like a board to run up to the evil youma's head and face, landing a powerful kick right into her face causing the evil demon to crash to the ground. On the meanwhile, Sailor Universe had bounded into the air after she had struck Vampira in the face, she does three forward flips, and gracefully lands on the ground. Sailor Universe then turns to face Vampira and when the evil demon gets to her feet, Sailor Universe rushes towards her and lands a series of powerful blows using her specter as a staff weapon.

 

Vampira yells out, angrily, “You have interfered with me for the last time!” Vampira launches multiple `bolts' of dark energy at Sailor Universe by with the grace and skill of an expert dance mixed a modern-day Olympic gymnast, Sailor Universe easily and gracefully dodges the assault, much to amazement of everyone, especially `Memory Atem' and the real Atem.

 

Isis says, amazed, “Incredible, she looks only to be a girl of our prince's age and yet, she fights and moves with the grace and skill of that possibly exceed the best warriors of our kingdom.”

 

Seto tells everyone else, seriously, “This is no time to be impressed, Isis! We must crush this foul demon for trespassing on these sacred grounds!”

 

Sailor Universe yells out, seriously, “No! This demon is my fight!”

 

Vampira shouts out, darkly, “And your last!” Vampira then launches a breath of flames from her mouth at Sailor Universe and she starts to spin around like a ballerina creating a huge twister of water around her as she does causing Vampira's flame attack to be negated and a gush of water slams into her, knocking the evil youma to the floor!

 

Sailor Universe stops spinning, making the water column vanish, and she roars out, leaping into the air, “No, this battle is your last, Vampira! Prepare for your purification, demon!” Soon after, rainbow colored energy gathers on the top of Sailor Universe's specter.

 

“Universe Elemental Aurora!”

 

Sailor Universe then launches a rainbow colored sphere of elemental energy at the evil youma, it yells out in pain when the strong attack slams into her, and she screams out as she is totally vaporized into nothingness.

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen says, amazed, “Unbelievable. Such power in the hands of someone so young.”

 

`Memory Atem' says, also amazed by Sailor Universe, “Yes, but remember, she isn't all that she seems to be father.”

 

Sailor Universe spins her staff around until it is behind her back and gives a deep breath, but when she notices everyone looking at her, she says, “Sorry that I didn't come here announced, but this demon had already managed to find a way into the palace and I couldn't allow it time to hurt other people, especially your king.”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen tells Sailor Universe, “Yes, we can see. Thank you for your help.”

 

Priest Seto tells Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen, in a serious tone, “My king! You can't be thinking of forgiving this one so easily! She might have helped us, but she trespassed these sacred grounds without permission!”

 

Sailor Universe says, insulted tone, “Hey, is that how you thank someone for saving your butts?! By the gods, you Earthlings have no manners!”

 

Priest Seto tells Sailor Universe, in a serious tone, “Watch your tongue in front of our king, girl!”

 

Akhenaden tells Seto, “Seto, we, priests, must show patience as well as firmness! This young girl might have trespassed, but she has done so to protect our king and our prince! With this, she has already paid for that sin and we must remember that we must be civil as well!”

 

Seto says, with a snort, “Yes, Lord Akhenaden.”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen asks Sailor Universe, “Young warrior of the heavens, may we have the honor of your real name? You wear the uniform of the guardians of the daughter of the great Lunarian queen, but I believe that you are not one of them.”

 

Sailor Universe says, “Yes, I'm a Sailor Soldier. However, I am one that's independent of the ones that guard Princess Serenity, daughter of Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom.” Sailor Universe pushes the broach on her chest causing her to be bathed in a bright light and everyone else to cover their eyes. When the light dies down, everyone looks to see a beautiful princess in front of them.

 

This princess looks to only be sixteen years old in age with Tea's hairstyle and Tea's brown hair with shimmering rainbow colored highlights in her hair, there is a golden sideways infinity symbol with a silver five-pointed star in the center of the infinity symbol on her forehead, Tea's blue eyes, light ruby red colors lips, golden sideways infinity symbol jewels attached to her ears as earrings, and she is wearing a beautiful silver and rainbow colored version of Princess Serenity's dress, which is barely able to hold her quite busty cleavage, and the dress is adorned with all types of beautiful jewels.

 

Atem blushes slightly from the sight of the princess and Sailor Universe, in her `princess form', says, doing a formal curtsey, “My name is Princess Anzu, Supreme Princess of the Universe, and the supreme protector of the universe. It is an honor to finally meet you, Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen. I've heard about you from Queen Serenity of the Moon Kingdom, who my kingdom and I am good friends with.”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen rises from his seat and `Memory Atem' asks, “Father, should you be standing?”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen tells `Memory Atem', “I am strong enough son.” Soon, Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen and Prince Atem walk down from the throne in front of Princess Anzu and motions for her to rise. Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen tells Princess Anzu, in a serious, yet, kind tone, “Priest Seto is right to say that you have violated one of our laws by sneaking into the palace, but you did it with good intent and I believe that it would be madness to punish a protector of the good and innocent for an infraction. I thank you for your help, but I wish that next time, you wouldn't use such `methods' to protect me and my people.”

 

Princess Anzu tells Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen, with a smile, “I understand.”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen tells Princess Anzu, motioning towards his son, “Let me introduce my son, Atem, who will be taking over for me when I leave this world.”

 

`Memory Atem' tells Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen, worriedly, “Father, you will be here for sometime, yet.”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen tells `Memory Atem', with a smile, “Thank you for your kind words, son. However, even we, the embodiments of our deities, can't stay in this mortal realm for all time. We must pass on our deities to the next Pharaoh and return to the heavens with the kings that can before us along with the great Osiris.” Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen thinks in his mind, sadly, “However, I will not have that honor! For the sin of the creation of the Millennium Items, I must pay the price of their creation and how they came to be! I will never join the Pharaoh before me, but at least I know that you are protected, thanks to the all mighty grace of the Egyptian Gods, who have given you their protection.”

 

`Memory Atem' looks at Princess Anzu and thinks in his mind, with a slight blush, “By the gods, this young girl looks like she has been gifted by the gods with beauty as well as grace and power!”

 

When Princess Anzu looks at `Memory Atem', she widely blushes and thinks in her mind, “Oh, wow! He's so strong and handsome! He is shorter than me, but he has great strength of spirit and soul and look so incredible like the gods themselves gave him this look!”

 

Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen notices this between the two of them and asks, motioning to his son, “Princess Anzu, is there something wrong?”

 

Princess Anzu snaps out of her train of thought and says, nervously, “No! No! Forgive me, your majesty.” Princess Anzu tells `Memory Atem', with a blush on her cheeks, “It is an honor to meet you, Prince Atem. I am Anzu, Supreme Princess and Protector of the Universe.”

 

`Memory Atem' tells Princess Anzu, with a blush on his cheeks, “And I am Atem, Prince of Egypt and son of the great king, Akhenamkhanen. It is an honor to meet you.” `Memory Atem' then takes Princess Anzu's right hand and kisses it causing her to widely blush. Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen gives a wide smile and glances at Shimon, who under his mask that covers his face expect for his eyes, gives a sly giggle at his Pharaoh knowing what Pharaoh Akhenamkhanen is thinking. On the meanwhile, the real Atem and Tea were watching this as `ghosts' and are amazed what had happened.

 

Tea asks Atem, amazed, “Atem, are you sure that this is a memory from your past?”

 

Atem nods his head and says, “Yes! It is! I know it! One day, sometime before my father died, a mysterious Sailor Soldier entered the palace to stop a demon that had intruded into it trying to steal the energy of my father and the priests! She was Sailor Universe and one of the most powerful Sailor Soldiers there ever was. In terms of power, she rivaled Sailor Moon and Sailor Sun.”

 

Tea yells out, shocked, “Wow! She was that powerful?!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Indeed, she was Ms. Gardner.” Just then the scene transforms into an outer space scene and Shadi appears before the two of them.

 

Atem yells out, stunned, “Shadi?!”

 

Shadi nods his head and says, “Yes, my king. But there is more to this memory, my king. You see, this whole memory is familiar to Tea, too, is it not?”

 

Atem looks at Tea, shocked, and she says, amazed, “Yes, it is. I don't know why because this whole `memory' that I saw looked some familiar to me like I experienced it before.”

 

Shadi tells Tea, “Because, your majesty, that was you. Around five millennia ago, you were Princess Anzu, Supreme Princess and Protector of the Universe, and the one that saved my king and his father from a terrible demon that the Sailor Senshi knows as a youma.”

 

Tea and Atem gasp in shock and Tea yells out, stunned, “I'm a princess?!”

 

Shadi nods his head and says, in his usual manner, “Yes, but you are more than that, Princess Anzu. You were . . . you are the soulmate of my king.”

 

Atem and Tea let out another set of gasps and Atem yells out, flabbergasted, “My soulmate?!”

 

Shadi tells Atem, “Yes, my king. Tea Gardner, as Princess Anzu, fell in love with you and you with Princess Anzu. And you became soulmates and Princess Anzu remained in Egypt to be with you. In the original history with Zorc, Princess Anzu fought with you with her own powers and a special Millennium Item created through your bond. In the final moments, of the original history, Princess Anzu died to weaken Zorc enough to allow you to seal his soul and yours in the Millennium Puzzle. Queen Serenity, witnessing this from the Moon Kingdom, was horrified and saddened because she had become good friends with you and your father. Using the Silver Crystal, Queen Serenity sent Princess Anzu's soul into the future where she hoped that you and she will meet again and hopefully, give you another chance for life. Princess Anzu was reincarnated as Tea Gardner.”

 

Tea states, perplexed and nervously, “Are you sure that you have the right girl?”

 

Shadi nods his head and tells Tea, “Your majesty, search your heart and you know this to be true. Deep down, you still care for my king or why would you have brought him to beach to tell him so?” Tea widely blushes from Shadi's comment and the two of them look at each other.

 

Tea nervously tells Atem, “Atem . . . I . . .”

 

Atem tells Tea, with a smile, “I understand, Tea. I've always felt the same way, but you never knew because of my mission with Yugi. I've preyed for the life that I could never have had, but I've put others before me because they are more important. However, I think after all this is over, I might have that chance.”

 

Shadi tells Atem, “Indeed, you do, my king. This is why the Millennium Puzzle has reduced you and Princess Anzu back down to around the ages that you died during the original history of the battle with Zorc. And now, you must awaken her memory and her power, my king.”

 

Atem asks Shadi, “How do I do that, Shadi?”

 

Shadi tells Atem, with his type of smile, “You know how, my king.” Atem and Tea look at each other, looking deep into their eyes, and then, like some kind of instinct, both of them put their hands together and the Millennium Puzzle around Atem's neck gives off an incredible golden light. The Millennium Symbol appears on Atem's forehead and the golden sideways infinity symbol with the silver five-point star in the center of the sideways infinity symbol appears on Tea's forehead and memories flowed into her mind, her life as Princess Anzu, the Supreme Princess and Protector of the Universe, her life with Atem in Egypt, and her death with him during the `original battle' with Zorc along with some `personal memories' with former spirit of the Millennium when he was king of ancient Egypt. Soon after, Tea and Atem were bathed in golden light and the `scene' returns to the beach where we find Atem and Tea lying down on the sandy beach on their backs.

 

Tea and Atem groan as they get to a sitting position and Tea says, putting her hand on her head, “What hit me?” Tea then feels something in her left hand and she looks to see a sailor transformation broach in her left hand similar to Eternal Sailor Moon's broach, but heart-shaped broach is rainbow colored with a golden sideways infinity symbol jewel with a silver five-pointed star jewel in the center of the sideways infinity jewel attached to the heart broach instead of a golden crescent moon and four silver angel wings attached to the heart broach. Tea says, amazed, “I remember now!”

 

Atem tells Tea, with a smile, “As do I, Tea.”

 

Tea then looks over herself, sees that she still looks like her `old self' during when she was journeying with Yugi, Atem, and the rest of her friends ten years ago to stop evils like Marik's dark side, Dartz, and Zorc, and says, “Looks like Shadi was right.”

 

Atem and Tea get to their feet and Atem says, with a smile, “We have a chance for a new start after all this madness is over.”

 

Tea tells Atem, with a warm loving smile, “I'm glad. Let's just make sure that this doesn't end like the way it did with Zorc the first time, okay?”

 

Atem giggles and tells Tea, “I can't promise you that much, Tea. But I will try.”

 

Tea tells Atem, lovingly, “You had better, Atem.” Tea then kisses Atem on the lips and then they hear footsteps running towards them. When the two of them look at the source of the footsteps, they see Yugi, Rebecca, Duke, Joey, Tristan, and the rest of our heroes and heroines running towards them.

 

Joey yells out, “Hey, you two, we saw that golden light and . . . Whoa!” Atem's and Tea's friends and the rest of our heroes and heroines gasp in shock when they see Tea causing Ami to immediately get out her computer.

 

Yugi asks Tea, “Tea?”

 

Tea asks Yugi, with a smile, “Yep! It's me, Yugi!”

 

Tristan asks, perplexed, “What happened to you, Tea?! You look ten years younger! You look exactly like you did when we were on those crazy adventures with Yugi and Atem ten years ago!”

 

Ami says, gasping in shock, “That's because both of them are around ten years younger! My computer tells me that both of them have `regressed' ten years, making them around seventeen to eighteen years of age, physically and biologically!”

 

Yugi asks Atem and Tea, “How did this happen?”

 

Tea says, with a smile, “It's a long story, Yugi. However, the Sailor Scouts don't have to worry about needing a Sailor Scout to go with you because they will have one.”

 

Serena asks, perplexed, “What do you mean by that, Tea? All of us are going to stay here until the Light of Destruction is defeated.”

 

Tea holds up her sailor transformation broach and says, with a sly grin, “Not the newly awakened on, she isn't.”

 

Everyone gaps in shock and Joey yells out, stunned, “Oh my god! Tea, you are a Sailor Scout?!”

 

Tea tells Joey, with a sly grin, “That's right. I've got an ancient life, too, and before we go on, the name will be Eternal Sailor Universe in my scout form. Trista already knows about me.”

 

Trista says, with a sly smile, “I had my suspicious about you, Ms. Gardner, but I wasn't really sure.”

 

Amara asks Trista, “You know about Tea's Sailor Scout form?”

 

Trista tells Amara, with a smile, “Yes, I do. I was old enough to learn about Sailor Universe. She died in the original battle with Zorc along with her soulmate and Queen Serenity, who was good friends with Pharaoh Atem and his father, send her soul into the future so hopefully her soulmate and she can meet again.”

 

Michelle asks Trista, curiously, “Who is her soulmate?”

 

Trista tells Michelle and the rest of her allies/friends in reply, with a plain tone and sly smile, “Why, Pharaoh Atem of course.”

 

Yugi, Joey, and Tristan gasp in shock and Yugi exclaims, “You mean that Tea is Atem's . . .?”

 

Atem tells Yugi, interrupting with a smile, “Yes, Yugi, Tea is. We will explain on the way back. It is a bit of a long story.”

 

Joey says, in his usual tone, “I'll bet.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines head back to the other side of Academy where Tea and Atem explain about her past life as Princess Anzu and her life with her Atem before and during the original battle with Zorc.

 

(In the late afternoon hours; within the part of the `White Dorm' that was the Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm)

 

In the late afternoon hours of that very same day, we find the remaining female members of the SOL assembled around the main hallway of the `White Dorm' that was original the Obelisk Blue Girls' dorm and all of the white-clad females had duel disks attached to their left wrists and plenty of them were looking through their dueling decks.

 

One of the female SOL members says, “One of us has to become the winner of the GX tournament! The future of the Society of Light depends on it!”

 

Another SOL member states, with a cold serious tone, “However, with nonbelievers like Jaden Yuki and Serena Tsukino out there, our Society has been battered, bashed, and weakened! I mean we lost Chazz Princeton and Alexis Rhodes to them! How can they defy destiny?”

 

A third SOL girl yells out, in a cold serious tone, “You can't talk like that! We have the power of the Light on our side! Every one of those dorks just got lucky, but sooner or later, they will see the light along with the rest of the world! Especially that Serena Tsukino chick! Man! Do I want to get my hands on her?!”

 

But just then the doors to the dorm fly open and a familiar female voice calls out, “Well, be careful what you wish for girls! You just might get it!” Soon after, Serena Tsukino and Alexis Rhodes, both of whom have duel disks with dueling decks inside attached to their left wrists, enter the room.

 

A female SOL member yells out, in a cold angered tone, “What are you two nonbelievers doing here?”

 

Alexis says, with a sly grin, “Oh, Serena and I have come for a friendly duel.”

 

Serena tells the SOL members, with a sly grin, “We decided that if you don't come to us, then we will come to you.”

 

Alexis tells the SOL girls, with a sly smile, “So, like my boyfriend always says: `Ready to get your games on?' So, do you want to get that key?” Alexis and Serena activate their duel disks and prepare to duel while two female SOL that is brave enough to face our Moon Princess and Sun Princess. However, soon enough, the whole of the Girls' dorm was full of screams of horror along with plenty of explosion from multiple duels going on inside of the dorm.

 

(In another `area' of the `White Dorm'; A short time soon after)

 

Inside of Sartorius' private quarters, we find him going through his Tarot cards, trying to predict the future, and he places three Tarot cards in front of him. The first one that he flips is The Moon Tarot card, representing our Moon Princess, right side up, the next second one is The Sun Tarot card, representing our Queen of Obelisk Blue, and the third card is, much to Sartorius' shock and surprise, The Wheel of Fate Tarot Card, upside down. Just then a loud beeping is heard and he answers his PDA.

 

Sartorius says, in his usual tone, “Yes?”

 

A male SOL member appears on the screen, with a panicked expression, and exclaims, worriedly, “Master Sartorius! The nonbelievers, Serena Tsukino, and that traitor, Alexis Rhodes, attacked the Girls' Dorm, dueled every girl that we have left in our Society, and beaten all of them! They've taken over half of our dorm!”

 

Sartorius exclaims, in a rare surprised expression and tone, “What?!”

 

(Back at the `former' Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm; Another short time later)

 

Within the main hallway of the `former' Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm, we find all of the freed female Obelisk Blue students with Darien, Rini, and all of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, Jaden, Syrus, Tyranno, Chazz, Atticus, Blair, Aster, and Bastion along with the four guardian felines entering the dorm seeing Serena and Alexis standing in front of the former remaining female members of the Society of Light with some of them starting to wake up.

 

Jasmine exclaims, amazed, “Awesome! We've got our dorm back!”

 

Mindy tells Alexis, “Way to go, `Lex! You and Serena took back our dorm by yourselves!”

 

Alexis tells Mindy, “Hey, it was no problem, Mindy! Personally, this is a bit of payback for what that ass made me do in the first place!”

 

Jasmine asks, nervously, “Guess you remember when you stormed in and started brainwashing the entire dorm for that alien freak, don't you?”

 

Alexis replies, solemnly, “Yeah, I do . . . I can't get these images . . . I'm so horrified by my role in this . . .”

 

Mina tells Alexis, excitedly, “Don't worry, girlfriend! It's over! You're free and you'll be okay!”

 

Syrus tells Alexis, “Mina's right, Alexis. All that terrible stuff that you did for Sartorius wasn't you at all! He was wrapping your way of thinking!”

 

Atticus tells Alexis, with a smile, “We're just glad that you are back with us, sis.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a loving smile, “Syrus and Atticus are right, `Lex. And don't worry, that space freak won't get his hands on you, again. I promise.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “I know that you won't let him.” Alexis gives Jaden a quick peck on the lips and everyone turns back to the inside of the `former' Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm. It was slightly damaged by the dueling that Alexis and Serena did against the rest of the former female SOL members, but the `main damage' is the walls, ceiling, and much of the room covered in white.

 

Mindy says, a bit nervously, “A bit worse for the wear, but nothing that a little paint can't fix.”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, drolly, “Give me a break Mindy. It is going to take more than a little paint to fix the mess that freak made to our dorm!”

 

Lita says, with a smile, “Well, after this whole mess is over, you will have plenty of time to start.”

 

Mindy tells Lita, “That's a good point, Lita.”

 

Blair says, with a smile, “I think that we should get started and help these girls. When they wake up, they are going to need new uniforms and some questions answered.”

 

Rei says, in a plain tone, “Including why they are wearing weird white uniforms and when their dorm is painted white?”

 

Tyranno nods his head and says, “No kidding, ma'am!” Soon enough, our heroes and heroines with the already freed female Obelisk Blue students immediately get to work to wake up their recently freed members and assess the `damage' to the reclaimed Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm.

 

Bastion tells Ami, “Just one closer step to ending this.”

 

Ami nods her head and says, “That's right.”

 

Chazz says, with his usual snobbish tone, “And the sooner, the better!” Soon after, our heroes and heroines with the already freed female Obelisk Blue students began to aid the recently freed female students as they slowly start to wake up and get to sitting and standing positions.

 

(Several days later; In front of the main building of Duel Academy)

 

In the late morning hours in front of the main building of Duel Academy, we find all of the students, all of them freed from the SOL and back in their original uniforms of either Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, or Obelisk Blue, and the Pro League duelists that came to the tournament, expect for Zane Truesdale, assembled in front of large stage in front of the main building in Duel Academy. On the stage is Chancellor Sheppard, Ms. Dorothy, the head of the Ra Yellow Dorm, Professor Satyr, Fonda Fontaine, Doctor Crowler, and Vice-Chancellor Bonaparte with Chancellor Sheppard standing in the middle of the stage in front of microphone connected to loudspeakers. In the days after the Girls' dorm was retaken from the SOL, our heroes and heroines freed the rest of the student body from the Light of Destruction's control and duels continued until there are only eight duelists left in the tournament. With so few duelists left in the tournament, Chancellor Sheppard announced a set of `final matches' to see who would be `crowned' the GX tournament champion.

 

Chancellor Sheppard calls out through the microphone and speakers, “Good morning, everyone! As you know, the GX tournament has reached its final stages! There are only eight duelists left in the tournament and with so few left in the tournament, we decided to arrange the finals to a set of matches that will determine the GX world champion!” Chancellor Sheppard says through the microphone, “However, before we start, let's meet the finalists! First, it is the leader, founder, and only member of the Society of Light since everyone else has left him, Sartorius!” Sartorius goes up on the stage to major angered and enraged looks on the faces of the Academy students.

 

Crowler asks Chancellor Sheppard, “Chancellor, are you sure that you should allow this? He only has one medal in his possession and he only dueled once not to mention all of the chaos that he has caused. So, should he be allowed to duel in the finals?”

 

Chancellor Sheppard sighs and tells Crowler, “No matter what we think or know of him, he is a legal member of this tournament and he still has his medal, so, he is allowed to duel in this tournament.”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sly grin, “Thank you, Chancellor.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard coughs to clear his throat and says, plainly, “Moving on! Our next duelist is a member of the Pro dueling circuit and one of the first rock and roll stars turned duelist! Meet `Rock and Roll' Hall!” Soon enough, a man in his late twenties with dark red wildly spiked hair even more than Daisuke Motomiya from Digimon Adventure 02, black glasses over his hazel brown eyes, perfectly white teeth in his mouth, spiked leather collar around his neck, and wearing all black leather clothing that a rock and roll star would wear comes onto the stage.

 

Rei states, in an annoyed tone, “Oh, brother! Who does that joker think he is?!”

 

Jasmine tells her fellow Fire Senshi, “Just plain weird if you ask me, Rei.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then calls out through the microphone and loudspeakers, “Next, is one of our duelists from Academy Island! She is a transfer student that came in just recently, but has proven to be one of the smartest duelists equal to our Bastion Misawa from Ra Yellow. Ra Yellow Student: Ami Mizuno!” Soon after, Ami walks onto the stage, a bit shyly, with her friends in the audience smiling, waving, and/or cheering for her along many of the other Academy students in the audience.

 

Mina yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Ami! That's our girl!”

 

Hotaru calls out, happily, “Do your best Ami-chan!” Bastion smiles at Ami and gives a nod causing her to widely blush.

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, with a smile, “I know that you can beat even the Light of Destruction, Ami. Besides you managed to outsmart me in our duel and I was one of the best freshmen during my first-year in Duel Academy. I should be annoyed, but personally, I'm glad that I lost to you and only you, Ami. Now, show them what we intelligent duelists can really do!”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then yells out, “Next, there is our famous Pro Duelist that enrolled as a first-year student here in our school! The step-son of the missing Pro Duelist World Champion, The D, and one of the greatest young duelists of our day: Aster Phoenix!” Aster Phoenix then slowly steps onto the stage with many wild cheers, especially from the female members of the audience, minus our Sailor Scouts, of course. Aster Phoenix gives a sly smile, a few friendly waves, and a smile with a wink to our Rei Hino causing her to slightly blush and other female members of the audience to become jealous of her.

 

Mina tells Rei, with a sly smile and tone, “Ooh, it looks like a certain duelist has a thing for our `Fire Priestess'.”

 

Rei tells Mina, annoyed, “Just cut it out, Mina!”

 

Amara looks at the jealous female Obelisk Blue students and says, with her usual sly smile and plain tone, “Well, you just made plenty of girls around here jealous, Rei.”

 

Rei tells Amara, drolly, “Tell me about it.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then calls out, “Next, this is a duelist that needs no introduction! His catchphrase tells you all that you need to know! He is one of the best students, here, in Duel Academy and if you want to duel with him, well, you had better be ready to `Chazz It Up'! Now, give it for Chazz `The Chazz' Princeton!” Chazz Princeton comes up to the stage with a proud look on his face and plenty of Academy students cheer for him calling out his catchphrase `Chazz It Up'.

 

Chazz takes a deep breath and thinks in his mind, proudly, “Ah, my public.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then calls out, “Then there is our one and only Queen of the Obelisk Blues and one of the greatest female duelists that our school has ever seen! Please welcome the top duelist of Obelisk Blue and the Queen of that dorm, Alexis Rhodes!” Soon after, Alexis Rhodes walks onto the stage and wild cheers came from the audience, especially from the Academy students and her best friends.

 

Mindy yells out, excitedly, “Go, Alexis!”

 

Jasmine cheers out, also excitedly, “Show them what the top girl from Obelisk Blue can do!”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then yells out, “However, there is another young woman that might be a challenge for Alexis' position as the top female duelist of our school! She is a Ra Yellow transfer student with incredible potential that I've only seen in a young Slifer Red student that I will be mention when he came to this school last year! She has incredible cards and skills that are rarely seen here in Duel Academy! Freshmen from Ra Yellow also known as the `Heroic Princess' or the Princess of the entire Ra Yellow: Serena Tsukino!” Serena runs up to the stage, waving her hands, and the audience gives many loud cheers for our Moon Princess as she blows kisses to the audience and gives a `wink' to her boyfriend, Darien Shields.

 

Lita says, with a sly smile, “Say old Serena!”

 

Michelle says, with her own sly smile, “Yes, our princess seems to love the limelight.”

 

Luna sweatdrops and thinks in her mind, nervously, “Tell me about it, Michelle!”

 

Tyranno says, a bit perplexed, “Why are they calling her the Princess of our barracks?”

 

Syrus tells Tyranno, in a loud enough tone so he can hear, “Well, Hassleberry, it isn't surprising since she has been doing so well and that she, along with Jaden and the rest of us, are the main reasons that the Society of Light is gone for good expect for that alien freak.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then calls out through the microphone, with a wide smile, “And finally, last, but certainly, not least! This boy is the top student here in Duel Academy! Even through he is a Slifer Red, he has defeated the best of the best ranging from his dorm, to Obelisk Blues, to the best of the Society of Light, and even Pro Duelists of all shapes, sizes, and characters! Recently, I've heard that he has finally defeated form top student and Pro League duelist, Zane Truesdale, in an incredible second rematch and a duelist who's name is known to all students, old and new, here in Duel Academy. He has kept this Academy safe for nearly two school years in a row and if you want to duel this incredible young student then you have to really `get your game on'! Now, give it up for Duel Academy's top student from Slifer Red, a duelist that we know all too well: The one and only Jaden Yuki!” Soon after, Jaden walks onto the stage with wild cheers from all of our Academy students in the audience, expect for our Sailor Scout heroines.

 

Jaden calls out to everyone, “Hey, what's up everyone?!”

 

One Ra Yellow student calls out, strongly, “Go get that freak, Jaden!”

 

A Slifer Red student shouts out, seriously, “Yeah, show why he shouldn't mess with our school, Jaden!”

 

Another Slifer Red student calls out, strongly, “Go get him, Jaden!”

 

Chazz gives a snort of annoyance since there were many more cheers for Jaden than him and he thinks, “Damn it! What does that Slifer Slacker got that I don't?! Well, after I'm done with that brainwashing freak for using me like his little puppet, you are next Jaden! I'm going to finally prove once and for all that I'm the best duelist around and not you, Slacker!”

 

Chancellor Sheppard clears his throat, bringing everyone to attention, and Chancellor Sheppard says, “Finalists, I would like for you to look at me please!” All eight finalists in the tournament turn to face Chancellor Sheppard who motions for Crowler to bring up a board displaying a tournament set-up with four duels in the quarter finals, two duels in the semi-finals, and one final duel in the finals. With the quarter finals, the brackets have numbers with one through eight on them. Chancellor Sheppard says, motioning for Ms. Fontaine, who comes up with a box, “Now, to decide the match-ups for the quarter finals, we will decide by the tried and true old fashioned lottery. There are eight equally sized chips with numbers of one through eight and each of you will pick a number. When you have your number, you will display it and you will be written in your bracket by Doctor Crowler. And first up is Sartorius.”

 

Sartorius says, “Thank you, Chancellor Sheppard. However, I already know how this will end.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, plainly, “If you say.”

 

Sartorius goes up, reaches into the box, and says, in his usual tone, “I should get number one and my opponent will be the Pro duelist.” Sartorius takes out the number and exactly as Sartorius predicted, he got the number one.

 

Bonaparte yells out, surprised, “That's exactly right!”

 

Crowler says, with a snarl, “Dumb luck.” Soon after, Aster goes over, glares at Sartorius, and he takes out the number four. Next, Chazz goes up to the box, reaches in, and takes out the number five. After he was noted in, Serena goes over, reaches into the box, and takes out the number six, putting her with Chazz in the third match of the semi-finals.

 

After Crowler writes her name into the bracket, Chancellor Sheppard yells out, “So, the third round of the quarter finals will be Chazz Princeton from Slifer Red against Serena Tsukino from Ra Yellow!”

 

Chazz glares at Serena and tells her, in his usual snobbish tone, “You had better be prepared to lose, `princess'! I'm planning to take you, that brainwashing freak, and getting that Slifer Slacker, Jaden, all to myself!”

 

Serena retorts, with a sly smile, “Don't count on it, `Chazzy'!”

 

Chazz tells Serena, with his usual snobbish tone, “Real funny, princess! We'll see who will be laughing when my deck totally crushes yours! You and that Slacker might have similar decks, but The Chazz is ready for it!”

 

Serena tells Chazz, with a sly smile, “We'll see!” On the meanwhile, Ami goes over to the box, reaches inside, and she takes out number three, putting her in the second match with Aster.

 

Chancellor Sheppard announcing on the microphone, “The second match of the quarter finals will be Ami Mizuno from Ra Yellow against Aster Phoenix!”

 

Michelle asks Amara, “Can Ami really stand up to someone like Aster?”

 

Amara shakes her head and says, with a plain tone, “With the power of a card like `Destiny Hero-Plasma' on his side, I seriously doubt that our little Ami has a chance against him, but it is for the best. Only Aster, Serena, and Jaden have the power to stop this brainwashing freak of nature.”

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, solemnly, “Poor Ami, against someone like Aster, her chances are five hundred to one and Ami knows it!”

 

Jaden goes up to the box and says, with his usual tone, “Well, I'm next!” Jaden reaches into the box and gets the number eight.

 

Alexis goes up to the box next and says, seriously, “Well, it is mine turn.”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, “Please don't let her get set up with Sartorius. The Light of Destruction is no laughing manner and he is one bad ass to say the least! Who knows what will happen to Alexis if she loses to him, twice?!” However, Jaden's fears are elated when Alexis draws the number seven from the box and putting her in the fourth match with Jaden.

 

Chancellor Sheppard calls out, “Well, Alexis Rhodes shall be going up against Jaden Yuki in the final match of the quarter finals and I heard rumors that these two are going steady!” Plenty of `Aah' and `Ooh' came from the audience, nearly all of them from the Academy students, and the couple give wide blushes of embarrassment. Chancellor Sheppard says, with a sly smile, “Well, we will see what happens between them soon enough! Since there is only one number left, `Rock and Roll' Hall will be paired against Sartorius in the first match of the quarter finals.”

 

Sartorius says, with his usual evil smile, “Just as I predicted.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, slightly nervously, “Yes, well . . . Anyway, the quarter final matches start this afternoon with Sartorius and `Rock and Roll' Hall in the first match, Aster Phoenix against Ami Mizuno in the second match, Serena Tsukino and Chazz Princeton in the third match, and Alexis Rhodes and Jaden Yuki in the final match! So, prepare your decks and your strategies because you will need them! And the final duelist standing will be crowned the GX world Champion!”

 

Chazz looks at Serena and thinks in his mind, “And that's going to be me! I'm not going to let that brainwashing freak, who I'm going to really `Chazz It Up' if I face him, that Slifer Slacker, Jaden, and his Moon Princess sister get in my way for glory! At long last, I will have a chance to get at Jaden to show who is truly the best duelist between us, once and for all! And his sister is just the first step for me.”

 

Alexis goes up to Jaden and tells him, with a smile, “I might love you, Jay. But I'm going to give you my very best. I want to win as much as you do.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a loving smile, “I wouldn't expect anything less from you `Lex. I'm really hoped for a rematch against you, `Lex. Let's give it our all.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “Count on it, Jaden.”

 

On the meanwhile, Aster looks at Sartorius and thinks in his mind, with a serious expression, “Watch out, you alien freak! I'm coming for you! With my father's card, I will free my friend and fulfill my promise to Sartorius and my father! Save Sartorius and the world from you!”

 

Sartorius gives Aster an evil sly smile on his lips and thinks, “Poor Aster. Searching for his friend, but I have bad news for you, he is gone! This body belongs to me as soon, you, Serena, and Jaden will belong to me soon after! They might have defeated my Society for the moment, but soon, the whole world shall see the light and with the help of the three Chosen Duelists, the whole universe will see the light soon after! No one can stop the Light or destiny! But you shall soon learn that lesson soon enough when I defeat you, Aster! I have foreseen your fate and you will belong to me!”

 

Meanwhile, in the audience, Mina says, amazed, “Man! What a lineup!”

 

Lita tells Mina, nodding her head in agreement, “You said it, Mina! Jaden dueling against his girlfriend and I think both of them like it that way!”

 

Amara says, with a plain tone, “They might love each other, but they are also true duelists and neither of them will back down from this fight.”

 

Syrus says, nervously, “This is it. Most likely, Aster will face Sartorius in the second round.”

 

Tyranno says, with a serious tone, “Do you think Private Phoenix stands a chance?”

 

Atticus tells Tyranno, “I'm not sure, Hassleberry. With that Arcana Force deck of his, it will be difficult, but remember, Aster has his father's ultimate card in his deck that could give him an edge. He has to make sure that he doesn't allow alien freak's mind games to get to him and he might have a chance, but you don't know with someone like alien freak with some kind of ability to foresee events before they happen.”

 

Blair says, plainly, “Let's hope that Aster can beat that freak at his own game.” On the meanwhile, Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, Serena, Ami, and the rest of our heroes and heroines in the audience keep an eye on Sartorius, noting that he has an evil glare while looking at Aster.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, “I don't like that look in his eye.”

 

Serena thinks in her mind, worriedly, “It's like he isn't human anymore.”

 

Jaden looks at Aster and thinks in his mind, “Aster, you had better be careful bro.”

 

On the meanwhile, Chancellor Sheppard looks at our heroes and heroines and thinks in his mind, “Jaden, you and your friends along with Aster had better be careful. We don't know what that monster within Sartorius is capable of, but I fear that only you have the power to stop him.”

 

(Later that day; within Obelisk Arena)

 

In the afternoon hours that very same day, we find Ami Mizuno dueling against Aster Phoenix in the second match of the quarter finals of the GX tournament and as expected, Sartorius beat the Pro Duelist, `Rock and Roll' Hall, with his Arcana Force deck and winning the first match of the quarter finals without too much trouble. Now, we find Ami dueling against Aster in the second round and despite the power of Aster's Destiny Heroes, Ami managed to keep this duel pretty much even. At this time, Ami has only 500 life-points left against Aster 450 life-points with Ami having two face-down cards, an activate Sanctuary in the Sky Field Spell, and one Archlord Zerato (2800/2300) on the field in attack mode. On the meanwhile, Aster has one face-down card with two Double Dude Tokens (1000/1000) on the field in defense mode and one Destiny Dude-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) in attack mode that he had revived using Call of the Haunted trap card that he had activated. It is Aster's turn and he has drawn his card.

 

Aster puts one card on his duel disk and says, with his usual sly smile, “Sorry, Ami, your dueling skills aren't bad, but this match is mine! I sacrifice my two Double Dude Tokens and my Diamond Dude to summon Destiny Hero-Dogma!” Soon after, Aster's Token monsters and Diamond Dude vanish from the field and replaced by Destiny Hero-Dogma (3400/2400) in attack mode.

 

Ami thinks, with a serious tone, “Don't worry, Ami. You've got your Magic Cylinder and Negate Attack trap cards on the field to protect you! Sorry, Aster, but we can't risk losing you to Sartorius and I've got to protect my best friend to make he doesn't do to her what he did to me!”

 

Aster pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Next, I equip him with my Heavy Storm Blade equip spell!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the Heavy Storm Blade equip spell card, it appears on Dogma's right wrist, and Aster calls out, “Now, whenever a monster with this card attacks, all spell and trap cards other than itself are automatically destroyed!”

 

Ami yells out, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

Aster then commands, “Dogma, end this duel!” Destiny Hero-Dogma leaps into the air, spins the Heavy Storm Blade, Ami's two face-down trap cards and Field Spell vanish, causing the field to return to normal, and Dogma uses his blade to slice right through Ami's Archlord Zerato, taking away 600 of her life-points, and ending this duel immediately!

 

Final Score:

Aster: 450

Ami: 0

 

After the final holograms fade away, Chancellor Sheppard walks up to the stage and yells out, “And the winner of the second match is Aster Phoenix! He will go on to face Sartorius in the first match of the semi-finals tomorrow afternoon! But let's give a hand to both of these incredible duelists, shall we?!” The audience claps for Aster and Ami, who give a slight smile and sigh knowing that she did her best and nearly won, but lost in the end.

 

Aster looks at Sartorius, who has an evil sly grin on his lips, and thinks in his mind, “I wouldn't have it any other way, you space freak! Just wait there! I'm coming to get you and get my friend back!”

 

In the stands, Ami's friends and fellow scouts witness what happen and Mina says, a bit disappointed, “Oh man! Ami almost had him with her new and improved Fairy deck!”

 

Lita tells Mina, with a smile, “Ami tried her best and she did great!”

 

Hotaru says, with her usual tone, “Ami-chan will get into Obelisk Blue for sure.”

 

Michelle says, with her usual smile, “With the way that Lita, Mina, Ami, Rei, and Serena have been doing, I'm sure they all will when this madness is over.”

 

Darien says, nodding his head, “So, it's agreed that we stay here in Duel Academy during the upcoming school years.”

 

Amara tells Darien, with a plain tone, “I'm not sure it is a good idea to leave Serena-hime's brother here alone and the winds tell me that future battles will revolve around Duel Academy.”

 

Trista says, with her usual tone, “I didn't look at the Gates to Time to see what will happen, but I believe that Amara is correct for to stay here for the upcoming years in Duel Academy. Call it a `Sailor Scout's intuition', Darien.”

 

Soon after, Serena and Chazz, with duel disks attached to their left wrists that have their dueling decks inside, walk up to opposite sides of the dueling platform, and Chancellor Sheppard announces through the microphone and speakers in arena, “Now, it is time for the third match of the semi-finals! On my left are one of finest duelists of our academy and one that I know, for better or worse, personally! Give it up for Chazz `The Chazz' Princeton!” Loud cheers come from the audience and Chazz basks in the cheers of his fellow students.

 

Blair says, amazed, “Talk about having a major ego.”

 

Tyranno tells Blair, nodding his head in agreement, “No kidding, little lady.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard yells out, motioning to Serena, “And next, one of the top freshmen for this school year! She is coming from Ra Yellow and known as the Princess of the Ra Yellow dorm: Serena Tsukino!” Even more wild cheers erupt from the audience and Serena waves to the audience with her wide smile causing Chazz to give a slight growl. Chancellor Sheppard tells the two duelists, “Are you ready to duel?!”

 

Serena says, with a wide smile, “You know it!”

 

Chazz tells Serena, with his usual sly grin and snobbish tone, “Better not wail too much when the `Princeton' gives the `Princess' a royal butt kicking that she will never forget!”

 

Serena says, with a sly smile, “We'll see about that Chazz! As a good friend of mine says `Get your game on!'”

 

Chancellor Sheppard leaps off the stage to the side and yells out, “Now, that the `pleasantries' are done, it's time to duel!”

 

Serena and Chazz activate their duel disks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points each, they draw five cards from their decks, and they yell out in unison, “Game on!”

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “Ladies, first!” Serena puts one card on her duel disk and says, “Here's a new card for you, `Chazzy'! I play Elemental Hero Lady Heat in defense mode!” Soon after, a female humanoid monster with fiery reddish-orange hair and wearing fiery red and fiery reddish-orange clothing and armor, Elemental Hero Lady Heat (1300/1000), comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, perplexed, “What? I never saw that monster before! What is that?!”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play a spell card! Hero's Bond! When I have one Elemental Hero on my side of the field, I can use this card to summon another Elemental Hero from deck as long as it is level four or less!” Serena goes through her deck, takes out one card from her deck, puts her deck back in her duel disk, puts the card on her duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I summon Elemental Hero Stratos in attack mode!” Just then a humanoid monster with blue skin, a silver helmet with a blue visor over his face, dark blue armor over his upper chest, silver legs armor, dark blue armored boots, and a pair of metal wings with one fan on each wing, Elemental Hero Stratos (1800/300) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena says, with a sly smile, “When this hunky hero comes to the field, I can play one of his effects! And I play this one! I take one monster with `Elemental Hero' in its name and put it into my hand!” A card comes out of Serena's deck, Serena puts it into his hand, displays the card to be her Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) monster card, and Serena says, with a sly smile, “And I choose this one! Elemental Hero Neos!”

 

Chazz tells Serena, with a sly smile and snobbish tone, “You might have a copy of that slacker's best monster in your deck, but your new monsters and that alien hero won't save you from me!”

 

Serena puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “We'll see about that Chazz! I'll end my turn, but your troubles have just begun! During every End Phase, Lady Heat's ability activates and it takes away two hundred life-points for every hero on my side of the field and I count two heroes meaning you lose four hundred life-points!”

 

Chazz yells out, surprised, “Say what?!” Lady Heat gathers heat energy into her two hands and blasts it at Chazz, who yells out in shock as he loses 400 life-points.

 

Mina yells out, excitedly, “All right! It is only the first round and Serena already took the lead!”

Chazz tells Serena, in his annoyed tone, “So, what? You might have gotten the first blow, but that doesn't mean that you've won!” Chazz draws one card from his deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play this! The Continuous Spell: Different Dimension Hanger!” Just then a huge black storm appears behind Chazz, Chazz takes out his deck, and says, “Now, I choose three Union monsters from my deck!” Chazz takes three cards from his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk, displays W-Wing Catapult (1300/1500), Y-Dragon Head (1500/1600), and Z-Metal Tank (1500/1300) monster cards in his hand, and Chazz says, with a sly smile and putting those cards in his pocket, “Once I remove them from play, the fun can begin! You see, when I summon a monster that they can combine with, I can summon them back!” Chazz puts one card on his duel disk and calls out, “And on that note, I play V-Tiger Jet in attack mode!” Just then V-Tiger Jet (1600/1800) comes to the field in attack mode. Chazz takes one card out of his pocket, puts it on his duel disk, and calls out, “Now, I can bring back W-Wing Catapult!” Soon after, W-Wing Catapult comes to the field in attack mode as well from the black portal in the sky. Chazz then yells out, “Now, I remove these two cards from play to summon VW-Tiger Catapult!” Both cards fly up into the air as their two cards are removed from play with Chazz putting them to his pocket, Chazz puts a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and the two monsters combine into VW-Tiger Catapult (2000/2100) in attack mode. Chazz discards one card from his hand to the graveyard and says, in his usual snobbish tone, “Now, I discard one card to the graveyard to switch you little `fire fairy' into attack mode!”

 

When Lady Heat switches from defense mode to attack mode, Serena says, worriedly, “Oh boy!”

 

Chazz puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with a sly smile, “Guess what, `your majesty'? It is about to get worse! I play Silent Doom! This allows me to summon my X-Head Cannon back to the field in attack mode!” X-Head Cannon (1800/1500) come to the field in defense mode. Chazz then puts two cards in his pocket, puts the cards on his duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I can summon back Y-Dragon Head and Z-Metal Tank!” Out of the black portal, Y-Dragon Head (1500/1600) and Z-Metal Tank (1500/1300) appear on the field in attack mode. Chazz then yells out, in a serious tone, “Next, I remove them with X-Head Cannon from play to summon XYZ Dragon Cannon!” All three monsters unite into one while Chazz takes the cards, puts them in his pocket, puts a fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk, and XYZ Dragon Cannon (2800/2600) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

In the audience, Lita says, worriedly, “That's not good! She is facing monsters with two thousand attack points or more!”

 

Chazz then commands, with a sly grin, “Hope you like the fireworks, princess, because this is going to be a real blast! Attack!” VW-Wing Catapult launches missiles right at Stratos while XYZ Dragon Cannon launches an assault at Lady Heat, both attacks slam into their targets, and Serena screams out as both monsters are destroyed and she loses 1700 life-points in one shot.

 

Blair yells out, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Mina says, worriedly, “Serena lost nearly half of her life-points!”

 

Chazz then says, with a sly grin and snobbish tone, “If you think that was bad, my next card is going to be . . . five cards in one!”

 

Syrus yells out, worriedly, “Is he doing what I think he is doing?!”

 

Chazz yells out, strongly, “I remove VW-Tiger Catapult and XYZ Dragon Cannon from play to summon my V to Z Dragon Catapult Cannon!” Chazz takes the two fusion monster cards from his duel disk, put them in his pocket, puts another fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk, and the two monsters unite into VWXYZ Dragon Catapult Cannon (3000/2800) in attack mode.

 

Lita calls out, shocked, “Whoa! That's some heavy metal!”

 

Chazz then says, with a sly grin, “Now, I play his effect! Once per turn, I can remove one card from play!” Chazz then points at one of Serena's face-down cards and says, seriously, “And I choose that face-down card!” Serena's face-down is removed from play, but when she puts the card in her card pouch, Serena gives a sly smile causing Chazz to think, “Why is that girl smiling?! I just Chazzed her big time and she can only smile!” Chazz puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end your suffering with this!”

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “And now, the card that you removed play returns to my hand!”

 

Chazz calls out, shocked, “You can't do that!”

 

Serena takes the card removed from play from her card pouch, displays the card to be the spell card known as Card from a Different Dimension, and says, with a sly grin, “Unless the card is Card from a Different Dimension! When this card is removed from play, it comes back to my hand during my next Standby Phase and its effect activates, allowing both of us to draw two new cards!” Serena and Chazz draw two more cards from their decks and put the cards into their hands. Serena pushes a button on her duel disk, and says, “Next, I play my other face-down! Call of the Haunted!” Serena's face-down card is revealed to be Call of the Haunted trap card and Serena says, “And I use this card to bring back my Stratos!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Stratos (1800/300) comes back to the field in attack mode. Serena then says, with a smile, “Now, I play his effect! When he is summoned to the field, I can take another Elemental Hero from my deck and add it to my hand!” A card comes out of Serena's deck and Serena puts it into her hand causing her to say, displaying her Elemental Hero Cosmic Saturn (1500/1300), “I think I'll put my girlfriend, Cosmic Saturn, into my hand!” However, Serena discards the card to the graveyard and says, “But she won't be here for long! I discard her to the graveyard to bring back Lady Heat!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Lady Heat (1300/1000) comes back to the field in attack mode. Serena then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Then I play my Graceful Charity spell card! I draw three more cards from my deck as long as I discard two!” Serena draws three cards from her deck, discards her Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) monster card and Card from a Different Dimension spell card, Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Then I play O-Oversoul! This card allows me to bring back one Normal Elemental Hero from my graveyard and I choose the one that I discarded with Graceful Charity! Elemental Hero Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) comes back to the field in attack mode.

 

Chazz says, with his sly grin and snobbish tone, “So, what? You've got three monsters, but they don't have a chance against my monster!”

 

Serena's Field Spell slot opens, Serena puts one card in the slot, and says, “Don't count on it, Chazz! I play my Neo-Space Field spell!” When the Field Spell slot closes on Serena's duel disk, the field chances into a rainbow color aurora, and Serena says, with a smile, “Now, my Neos gains five hundred more attack points!” Elemental Hero Neos' stats rise from 2500/2000 to 3000/2000!

 

Chazz says, in his snobbish tone, “Big whoop! Now, your alien monster is as strong as mine!” Chazz then thinks in his mind, looking at his face-down card, “But it won't be for long when I play my Hyper Coat trap card!”

 

Serena puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “We'll see about that! I play my Cross Change spell card! With it I can return one Elemental Hero on my field to my deck to summon a Neo-Spacian of similar or lower level of the Elemental Hero that I returned from my deck to the field or vice-versa! So, I'll return my Stratos to my deck!” Elemental Hero Stratos vanishes off the field, Serena puts the card into her deck, takes one card from her deck, puts on her duel disk, and says, “Then I play my Neo-Spacian Aqua-Dolphin attack mode!” Soon after, Neo-Spacian Aqua-Dolphin (600/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena then reshuffles her deck, puts her deck back in her duel disk, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “Next, I play my Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab in attack mode!” Soon after, Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (500/500-900/500) comes to the field in attack mode. Serena then says, “Neos! Scarab! Aqua Dolphin! Triple Contact Fusion!” The three named heroes leap into the air as Serena returns the three monster cards to her deck, puts a fusion monster card from her fusion deck on her duel disk, and yells out, “Combine to form Elemental Hero Aqua Dragoon Neos!” The three heroes untie in a bright light and when the bright light dies down, a new monster appears on the field.

 

This new monster is humanoid in nature with aqua-marine blue colored version of Aqua Neos' head with fiery red eyes, he has Elemental Hero Neos' chest, but it is covered by fiery red and aqua-marine armor similar Magnamon's chest armor from Digimon Adventure 02 that has a fiery red oval jewel in the center of its armored chest with a aqua-marine sea dragon in the center of the large oval jewel with armored shoulders pads that have the Japanese Kanji for `water' in aqua-blue on the right shoulder pad and the Japanese Kanji for `fire' in fiery red on the left shoulder pad, his arms are similar to Elemental Hero Aqua Neos' arms, expect they are aqua-marine blue and silver in color, his legs are covered in fiery red and silver armor similar to Elemental Hero Flare Neos' legs down to the clawed feet, and he has two huge metallic fiery red and aqua-marine dragon-like wings coming out of its back.

 

Chazz asks, perplexed, “What in the world is that?!”

 

Serena says, with a smile, “My newest monster: Elemental Hero Aqua Dragoon Neos!” This new monster, Aqua Dragoon Neos, has stats of 3000/2500! Serena then discards her Elemental Hero Necroshade (1600/1800) monster card to the graveyard and says, “Now, I play its special effect! By discarding one card from my hand, I can destroy any card on your field or in your hand! And I choose your face-down!” Chazz yelps out in shock as his face-down card is destroyed and Serena then says, with a sly smile, “Plus for every card on the field, Aqua Dragoon Neos gains four hundred more attack points! With three cards, two monsters and my Field Spell, he gains twelve hundred more attack points and another five hundred thanks to Neo-Space!” Elemental Hero Aqua Dragoon Neos' stats then rise from 3000/2500 to 4700/2500!

 

Chazz yells out, shocked, “That monster has four thousand seven hundred points!”

 

Serena then says, with a sly smile, “Yep! That's the idea! Aqua Dragoon Neos, attack with Inferno Tsunami!” Serena's monster glows a bright aqua-marine blue and fiery red, gathers fire and water energy into a sphere, and launches that sphere right at Chazz's machine monster, which turns into a huge wave of water and fire energy that totally vaporizes Chazz's monster. He yelps out in shock as he loses 1700 life-points from that attack. Serena then says, with a sly smile, “However, my Neos isn't done, yet, `Chazzy'! Now, all of those life-points you just lost are added to my life-points!”

 

Chazz says, shocked, “You've got to be kidding me!”

 

Serena replies, with a sly grin, “Nope! The joke is on you!” Serena's body glows a bright aqua-marine blue and fiery red as her life-points increase by 1700 while Aqua Dragoon Neos' stats drop from 4700/2500 to 4300/2500! Serena puts the last card currently in her hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Hero Draw spell card! Now, I get two new cards for ever Elemental Hero on the field and since I've got two heroes, I get four new cards!” Serena draws four new cards from her deck, puts two cards in the spell/trap slots, and says, “I'll end with two face-downs and my Lady Heat takes four hundred more life-points from you, thanks her little trick!” Lady Heat fires a sphere of flames at Chazz, it slams into his chest, and he growls as his life-points drop another 400 points.

Bastion says, amazed, “Remarkable! With that single move, not only did she seriously damage Chazz's life-points, but she restored her own!”

 

Rei says, with a smile, “I've got to say, Bastion, you are right. Meatball Head never ceases to amaze me.”

 

Michelle says, with a sly smile, “Guess our princess won't be as easy a duelist as Chazz original thought.”

 

Amara says, with a plain tone and a sly smile, “If he underestimates Serena, he will lose. Serena's favorite game in the whole world is Duel Monsters and she has been playing it ever since she was young. In terms of personality, our princess and her brother, Jaden, are very much alike, expect our princess studied Duel Monsters inside and out and knows every single aspect of the game, but like Jaden, she relies on faith in her deck and herself as well as strategy to win.”

 

Chazz tells Serena, with a serious tone, “You think that one good move impresses me?! Ha!” Chazz draws one card from his deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards and then I discard two!” Chazz draws three cards from his deck, discards his Ojamagic spell card and Chthonian Blast trap card to the graveyard, and Chazz says, with a sly grin, “And since I've just discards my Ojamagic spell card, the three Stooges show up! Come here you freaks!” Just then three lights came from his deck, goes into his hand, and form into Ojama Yellow (0/1000), Ojama Green (0/1000), and Ojama Black (0/1000) monster cards.

 

Chazz' three monster spirits, the Ojama brothers, appear beside Chazz's right shoulder, and they call out in unison, “You called boss?!”

 

Chazz puts one card in the spell/trap slots, a spell card with a picture of a duelist getting energy from his graveyard slot from his duel disk as cards got into his graveyard slot of his duel disk, and says, seriously, “Then I play my Card of Revival spell card! Now, I can send up to five cards in my hand to go to the graveyard and I gain five hundred more life-points per card, but I choose to send my three Ojamas packing!”

 

The three Ojama brother gasp in shock and yell out in unison, “Oh no! Not again!” Just then they scream out as they are sucked into the graveyard slot of Chazz' duel disk with his three cards and Chazz's life-points increase by 1500. Chazz says, with a sly grin as he puts another card in his hand into the spell/trap slots, “Wondering why I did that? In order to play Ojamandala spell card! I play a grand to summon back you know who!” Just then Ojama Yellow (0/1000), Ojama Green (0/1000), and Ojama Black (0/1000) in various poses came back to the field in defense mode.

 

Ojama Yellow yells out, happily, “Free at last!”

 

Chazz then puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Then I play my Ojama Delta Thunder spell card! Since the three Stooges are on the field, this card causes you to lose five hundred life-points for every card in your hand and on your field! Also, if I send my Ojama Delta Hurricane spell card from my hand or in my deck directly to the grave, all cards on your side of the field are destroyed!” Chazz goes through his deck, takes out one card, put his deck back in his duel disk, displays his Ojama Delta Hurricane, discards it to the graveyard, and says, with a sly grin, “So, I discard my spell in order to destroy all cards on your side of the field!”

 

Serena yells out, shocked, “Oh no!”

 

Chazz tells the Ojama brothers, “Okay, you, freaks, give her royal highness a royal butt kicking she will never forget!”

 

The Ojama brothers say in unison, “You got it boss!” The three Ojama brothers go into the air, they go into a triangle formation with Ojama Yellow on the bottom with Ojama Black on his upper right and Ojama Green on his upper left with their feet on his head and Ojama Green and Ojama Black join hands. The three Ojama brothers call out in unison, “Ojama Delta Thunder!!” Just then lightning bolts rain down on Serena's side of the field destroying her two monsters along with her face-down cards as well as her Field Spell and Serena then screams out as she gets slammed by the lightning assault with her losing 3500 life-points.

 

Mina, Lita, Rei, Rini, and Hotaru yell out in unison and in horror, “Serena!”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “Oh man! She got really slammed by Chazz!”

 

Atticus tells Syrus, “No kidding, dude! He's not pulling any punches! He wants to win and he will do what it takes to win!”

 

After the assault, Chazz laughs in his usual snobbish manner with his Ojama brothers returning to his side of the field and he then says, with his sly smile and usual snobbish tone, “Real shocking, wasn't it, your majesty?” Chazz puts the final card in his hand in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with this and let you have a go. Good luck.”

Serena draws one card from her deck and says, “Time to wrap this up!”

 

Chazz pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Not so fast! I play Ojama Trio!” Chazz's face-down is revealed to be Ojama Trio trap card and three Ojama Token (0/1000), looking like Ojama Yellow, Black, and Green, come to Serena's side of the field in defense mode. Chazz says, with a sly grin, “Confused? Ojama Trio creates Ojama Tokens that take up three of your monster spaces and you lose three hundred life-points for every one destroyed! Consider them my gift to you.”

 

Serena says, drolly, “Oh, great.” Serena looks at her card, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, seriously, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Serena draws two more cards from her deck, gives a wide grin, and says, with a sly smile, “All right, time to wrap this duel up!”

 

Chazz says, perplexed, “What do you mean?!”

 

Serena puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “You'll see! I play Monster Reborn to summon my Saturn back to the field!” Soon after, Elemental Hero Cosmic Saturn (1500/1300) comes back to the field in attack mode. Serena then displays a spell card with the picture of Sailor Moon in all of her `costumes' from classic to Eternal including her `Princess form' and as Neo-Queen Serenity and says, “Then I play my Warp Tier spell card! When there is an Elemental Hero with the words `Cosmic' or `Star' in their name, I can transform them to their highest stats possible, but at the end of this turn, the monster summoned with this card is automatically destroyed! But this turn is all I'll need to end this, so, I sacrifice my Cosmic Saturn to summon Elemental Hero Eternal Saturn in attack mode!” Cosmic Saturn vanishes in a field of lights, a card comes out of Serena's duel disk, Serena puts the card on her duel disk, and a Duel Monster looking similar to Eternal Sailor Saturn comes to the field expect she has a silver tiara with a jewel in the form symbol of Saturn in dark violet in the center of the tiara on her forehead, she has a silver choker, four silver angel wings coming out of her back, four silver angel wings coming out of the violet heart jewel in the bodysuit of her sailor fuku, and silver bow on the rear of her mini-skirt. This new monster, Elemental Hero Eternal Saturn, has 2800/2300 stats!

 

Chazz says, with his usual snobbish tone, “I'm not impressed.”

 

Serena says, with a sly smile, “You will be when I play her effect! By sacrificing herself, she destroys all other monsters on the field and you lose four hundred life-points per monster! And that includes your Tokens and your Ojamas!”

 

Chazz then gasps in shock and exclaims, “But wait! You will still lose nine hundred life-points, thanks to my tokens, it will be a draw!”

 

Serena tells Chazz, with a sly grin, “No, it won't Chazz! Thanks to a special trap I've got! When you used your Ojama Delta Thunder to destroy all cards on my side of the field, you destroyed this card as well!” Serena takes one card from her graveyard, displays it to be a trap card with the picture of Elemental Hero Avian, Burstinatrix, Clayman, Sparkman, Bubbleman, and Neos, in the center, with a bright golden glows in their chests, and Serena says, “It's the trap card known Heroic Survival! And this card can only be played while in the graveyard! By removing this card and one Elemental Hero in the graveyard from play, that Elemental Hero's attack points are automatically added to mine! And I choose my Elemental Hero Aqua Dragoon Neos to be removed from the game!” Elemental Hero Aqua Dragoon Neos (3000/2500) is removed from Serena's graveyard, she puts the monster card and the trap card in her card pouch, and her life-points increase by 3000 more points.

 

Chazz gasps in shock and exclaims, “No way! I can't lose to you!”

 

Serena tells Chazz, with a sly smile, “Sorry, `Chazzy', you just did! Saturn, end this duel! Death Reborn Revolution!” Elemental Hero Eternal Saturn, gives a loud roar in a slight deep voice to the real Sailor Scout of Saturn, her scythe gives off a bright glow, and she slams the scythe into the ground causing a huge explosion as she vanishes while the Ojama brothers and Ojama Tokens scream out as they are totally vaporized!

 

Before he is destroyed, Ojama Black says, “What a world!” Soon after, Serena loses 900 life-points, thanks to the three Ojama Tokens, but Chazz loses 2400 life-points, thanks to Eternal Saturn's effect, ending the duel immediately.

 

Final Score:

Serena: 2600

Chazz: 0

 

When the smoke and dust cleared, Chazz falls to his knees, knowing that he just lost to Serena, and everyone gasps in shock at the incredible upset that Serena caused.

 

Serena then says, with a sly grin, “And as Jaden Yuki would say: `That's game!'”

 

After the shock wares off, Chancellor Sheppard yells out through the microphone, “And with an amazing comeback against one of our best students, the winner of the third quarter final match is Serena Tsukino! Let give her and her opponent, Chazz `The Chazz' Princeton a hand for one incredible duel!” Soon after, the whole crowd starts to cheer and clap their hands and Serena waves her hands to the audience.

 

Mina calls out, excitedly, “Way to go, Serena!”

 

Blair says, happily, “Oh, wow! She really did it! She is so awesome!”

 

Rini says, in a low tone and with a smile, “That's my mom.”

 

Darien thinks in his mind, with a happy smile, “That was incredible, Serena. You are one excellent duelist, Sere'. I'm so proud of you.”

 

Chazz slams his right fist into the duel stage and he thinks in his mind, “First, I lose to that Slifer Slacker, twice, and now, I lose to his royal pain in the ass, sister! Oh, this isn't over, Moon Princess! I won't give up until I beat you and your brother and I'm crowned the Duel King! Just you wait! I'll be even stronger and finally show you and that Slacker brother of yours who is the best duelist around!” Chazz gets to his feet, manages to hold up his hand high, and starts to walk off the stage.

 

Serena tells Chazz, with a smile, “Hey, Chazz! That was a great match! You nearly beat me!”

 

Chazz just huffs at Serena and replies, in his usual snobbish tone, “Well, enjoy this `little victory' while it lasts! Next time, I'll be even stronger and I show you what it means to mess with `The Chazz'! You won't be so lucky next time, your majesty! Next time, I'll really `Chazz You Up!' and that's a promise to you and that Slacker!” Chazz then slowly walks off the stage in the proudest form he can muster.

 

Serena scratches her head and says, with a sigh, “What is that guy's problem?” Serena then walks off the stage where Jaden and Alexis were waiting for her.

 

Jaden tells Serena, with a smile, “That was one sweet duel, Serena!”

 

Serena replies, with her smile, “Thanks, Jay!”

 

Alexis tells Serena, with a smile, “I have to admit that even through you've done so well, I wasn't sure that you can hold your own with the real Chazz even through you've beaten the white imitation of Chazz along with white version of me. But you've really done well.”

 

Serena tells Alexis, “Thanks, Alexis, but he nearly beat me.” Serena then asks, curiously, “But personally, I think he has some pride and ego issues.”

 

Alexis tells Serena, with a smile, “That's Chazz in a nutshell! He is always trying to come up with ways to prove that he is cooler than everyone else and to find ways to beat Jaden to prove that he is the best duelist around as well as that he the one to become the next King of Games!”

 

Serena says, with a smile and nervous tone, “Something tells me that I've just become another of his rivals to beat along with Jaden.”

 

Alexis tells Serena, with a smile, “I wouldn't be surprised! Plus, I wouldn't be surprised that Chazz comes back to challenge you and Jaden to find a way to defeat you once and for all! He's not one to let this go so easily!”

 

Serena tells Alexis, “I'll bet, Alexis.” Serena then tells Alexis and Jaden, with a smile, “Well, good luck to both of you and I'll be cheering both of you on!”

 

Alexis and Jaden say in unison, “Thanks, Serena!” Soon after, Jaden and Alexis go to opposite sides of the dueling platform/stage while Serena rejoins her friends and Jaden's friends along with her boyfriend in the stands surrounding the holographic dueling stage.

 

Chancellor Sheppard calls out through the microphone, “Now, it is time for the final match of the quarter finals! On my left is a young lady that needs no introduction, top student of Obelisk Blue, and the `Queen' of that dorm: Alexis Rhodes!” Many of the Academy students, especially the female Obelisk Blue students, began to loudly cheer for Alexis and call out her name. Chancellor Sheppard then yells out through the microphone, “And then on my right is a young man that also needs no introduction! He comes from Slifer Red, but he has defeated the top Academy students ranging from his dorm to Obelisk Blue and Pro level duelists! He is the one and only top student and duelist of Duel Academy: Second-year Slifer Red and this school's `Hero' duelist: Jaden Yuki!” Wild cheers began to range from the audience from every single Academy student since plenty of them know he is one of the main reason that all of them that were brainwashed were saved from the Society of Light as well as all that weren't brainwashed by the SOL know that he is the one of the main reasons they remained freed students.

 

Jaden yells out to the audience, “Thank you! Thank you, very much, everyone!”

 

Syrus tells Jaden, with a smile, “Jaden, good luck!”

 

Tyranno calls out to Jaden, “Let's go, Sarge! It's time for combat!”

 

Lita says, amazed, “Jaden going one-on-one with his girlfriend? What a rotten match-up!”

 

Ami tells Lita, in a logical tone, “Actually, I think both of them prefer this way. As duelists, they've might have wanted a rematch with each other expect for the one that Jaden fought against `White Alexis'. However, they also might want this duel for another reason.”

 

Mina asks Ami, curiously, “What do you mean?”

 

Trista says, with a smile, “They want to duel each other to push themselves to the limits and see who is truly ready to face the Light of Destruction. In a way, they will be helping each other even through they are dueling against each other.”

 

Rei states, with a smile, “Yeah, you've got a point.”

 

On the dueling platform, Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Hey, `Lex, I might love you and all, but I'm not going to give you anything but my best! And I expect the same from you!”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “You better believe that I will give you my best, Jay! Ready?!”

 

Jaden replies, with his usual smile, “Always, Alexis!” The two of them activate their duel disks, their life-point counters displays 4000 life-points each, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

“Game on!” Jaden and Alexis say in unison.

As their friends and family watched from the audience, Atticus says, with a sigh, “Here we go.”

 

Alexis draws one card from her deck and says, with a serious tone, “All right! I'll go first!” Alexis looks at her hand, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “Now, I summon my Cyber Valkyrie in defense mode!” Soon after, a female humanoid monster with blond hair, black visor over her eyes, ice-blue skin, dark blue armor like clothing, a mini-skirt seemly made of ice crystals, and light blue high-heeled boots, Cyber Valkyrie (1300/1500), comes to the field in defense mode. Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I'll end my turn with one face-down card!”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, seriously, “It looks like `Lex has been preparing for this duel! She's updated her deck is some brand new cards! Still, that doesn't mean that I didn't do the same with Serena!” Looking at the Light of Destruction possessed Sartorius, Jaden thinks in his mind, “With this alien brainwashing freak like him as our ultimate opponent, he is going to need to be at our best to stop him!” Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, with a serious tone, “Okay, Alexis, my move!” Jaden puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Now, I summon Elemental Hero The Heat in attack mode!” Soon after, a male humanoid monster with flaming red and yellow armor with a circular jewel with a flame imprinted in the center of the jewel, Elemental Hero The Heat (1600/1200), comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then tells Alexis, “My newest hero has a special ability! He gains two hundred more attack points for every Elemental Hero on the field including itself!”

 

Alexis asks, stunned, “What?!” Elemental Hero The Heat then glows bright red as its stats rise from 1600/1200 to 1800/1200!

 

Jaden then calls out, seriously, “Now, The Heat attacks Cyber Valkyrie!” Jaden's new monster rushes in to attack Cyber Valkyrie.

 

Alexis then yells out, strongly, “I play Cyber Valkyrie's special ability! Any monster that attacks her loses three hundred attack points during the battle!” Just then Cyber Valkyrie launches a hail storm that weakens The Heat's stats from 1800/1200 to 1500/1200! The weakened monster slams into Cyber Valkyrie, but because of the equal power, the attack has no effect. Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “I told you, Jaden! I won't make this easy on you!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “No problem from me, `Lex! Pretty sweet move!” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with one face-down!”

 

Alexis then draws one card from her deck, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “Now, I play my Cyber Tutu in attack mode!” Soon after, Cyber Tutu (1000/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I equip her with this spell card: Angel's Wing! Time to get your wings girlfriend!” Cyber Tutu leaps into the air and a pair of huge angel wings appears on her back. Alexis then yells out, strongly, “And since you have no monsters weaker than my dancer, Tutu attacks you directly Jaden! Go, Pounding Pirouette!” Cyber Tutu dives down on Jaden, spins around, and slams his right shoulder with a powerful kick, costing him 1000 life-points. Alexis then says, seriously, “Since Tutu is equipped with Angel's Wing, you lost an additional three hundred life-points!” Jaden then groans as his life-points drop another 300 points, thanks to Angel Wing's effect. Alexis then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Finally, “I'll end with this card face-down!”

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, lowly, “All right, time to really throw down.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play the spell card: Polymerization!” Jaden then discards his Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600) and Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) monster cards to the graveyard, the appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex while Jaden puts a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and he says, “I fuse my Elemental Hero Wildheart with Elemental Hero Bladedge to summon the Elemental Hero Wildedge!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Wildedge (2600/2300) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “And thanks to his special ability, he can attack all of your monsters at the same time!”

 

Alexis pushes a button on her duel disk and says, “Hold it, Jaden! I reveal my face-down card! Cold Fusion!” Alexis' face-down card is revealed to be a trap card that has a picture of two monsters trying to fuse like in the Polymerization card, but they are frozen in two separate ice cubes. Just then Jaden's Wildedge is frozen solid in ice causing him to yelp in shock, then the ice cracks and shatters, and leaves Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500/1600) and Elemental Hero Bladedge (2600/1800) on the field in attack mode with parts of them frozen in ice.

 

Jaden yells out, shocked, “Whoa! What just happened to Wildedge?! And why are Wildheart and Bladedge back on the field?!”

 

Alexis says, with a sly smile, “Cold Fusion activates when my opponent summons a fusion monster! The fusion monster is automatically destroyed and the monsters used to create that fusion monster are summoned back to the field! Plus, those two monsters have ice counters put on them and as long as those counters remain on them, they can't change modes!”

 

Jaden yelps out in shock and surprise and in the stands, Bastion says, amazed, “Remarkable! A Fusion Monster destruction card! Alexis knows that Jaden's deck, even through stronger and somewhat different than before, mainly relies on fusing his monsters together to form stronger one, so, she put that card in her deck to negate those fusion monsters before they can seriously hurt her.”

 

Mina says, with a smile, “No surprise that Jaden likes her so much. She is one strong duelist.”

 

Rei tells Mina, rolling her eyes, “No duh, Mina. One of the best around here, remember?”

 

Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, a bit nervously, “I'll throw down a face down and switch Heat to defense mode!” Elemental Hero The Heat then switches from attack mode to defense mode.

 

Alexis says, with a sly taunting tone, “Come on, Jay. Don't tell me that you are scared of the real me, are you?”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a sly smile, “No way, `Lex! I'm really stoked! Now, I can't wait to win this duel!”

 

Alexis draws one card from her deck and says, with a smile, “We'll see about that Jaden!” Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “First, I play Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Alexis draws two more cards from her deck, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “Next, I sacrifice my Tutu and my Cyber Valkyrie to summon Ice Master in attack mode!” Cyber Tutu and Cyber Valkyrie vanish from the field and a female humanoid monster with ice crystal as hair, strong ice-blue eyes, wearing white and ice-blue clothing, and carrying an icy-blue specter with a huge snow flake shaped crystal on top of the staff, Ice Master (2500/2000), comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Jaden says, amazed, “Whoa. Awesome.”

 

Alexis then draws one card from her deck and says, “And since Tutu had Angel's Wing on and she is in the graveyard now, I get one new cards from my deck!” Alexis' Field Spell slot opens up, Alexis puts a card into the slot, and says, “Next, I play a Field Spell! Absolute Zero Barrier!” Just then the whole field is surrounded by a slight chilly wind, but then Elemental Hero Wildheart and Bladedge are turned into blocks of solid ice!

 

Jaden yells out, shocked, “What the?!”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “Absolute Zero Barrier makes it that all monsters with Ice Counters on them can't attack and they lose five hundred attack points!” Elemental Hero Wildheart's stats reduce from 1500/1600 to 1000/1600 and Elemental Hero Bladedge's stats are reduced from 2600/1800 to 2100/1800! Alexis then yells out, “However, it is going to get worse . . . Well, worse for you, Jay! Ice Master's special ability allows me to sacrifice my Zero Barrier to destroy all monsters on the field with Ice Counters with them.

 

Jaden calls out, stunned, “No way!” Alexis' Field Spell slot opens, Alexis removes the card, sends it to her graveyard, and both Wildheart and Bladedge are destroyed in a massive explosion.

 

Alexis puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Polymerization!” Alexis discards the last two cards in her hand, Etoile Cyber (1200/1600) and Blade Skater (1400/1500), to the graveyard, the two monsters appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex, and Alexis says, while putting a fusion monster card from her fusion deck on her duel disk, “Now, I fuse my Etoile Cyber and my Blade Skater to form good old Cyber Blader!” Out of the fusion vortex, Cyber Blader (2100/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Alexis then yells out, strongly, “Cyber Blader, destroy his Elemental Hero The Heat with Whirlwind Rage!” Cyber Blader spins herself into a whirlwind, she slams into Elemental Hero The Heat, and destroying it with a powerful blow, but Jaden's life-points are safe since it was in defense mode.

 

Mindy yells out, amazed, “Wow! Alexis really isn't fooling around!”

 

Jasmine nods her head and says, “She is pushing Jaden to his limits!”

 

Alexis then yells out, seriously, “Ice Master, attack Jaden directly!” Ice Master then moves in to attack Jaden directly.

 

Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and says, seriously, “Not so fast! I play my trap! A Hero Emerges!” Jaden's face-down card revealed to be A Hero Emerges trap card and Jaden tells Alexis, with a sly smile, “Sorry, Alexis, but with this card, you would normally have to pick one random card from my hand and if it was a monster, I can summon it!” Jaden then displays the only card in his hand and says, with a sly smile, “But since I've only got one card in my hand, you can only pick this one!” Jaden then displays the card to be his Elemental Hero Neos (2500/2000) monster card and he puts on his duel disk causing Jaden to say, “Come on out, Neos!” Just then Elemental Hero Neos comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Alexis says, with a smile, “The attack is off and I end my turn here!”

 

Back in the stands, Syrus says, with a sigh, “Jaden barely survived that one.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, nodding his head in agreement, “You got that right, Private Truesdale. Alexis isn't giving the Sarge an easy time. She is making him play his best and with the enemy that we are facing, I think that's a good idea!”

 

Atticus tells Tyranno, “You know it, bro! Whoever facings that alien freak needs to be at their best to stop him!”

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck and thinks in his mind, “I could attack her Cyber Blader, even through it can't be destroyed in battle, thanks to its effect, but that face-down card! Knowing Alexis, it could be most likely Doble Passé! That trap card directly the damage from the monster to the player directly and then the monster that was about to be attacked is allowed to attack the opposing player directly!” Jaden then looks at his face-down card and thinks in his mind, “I have an idea to use that against `Lex, but I need the right cards.” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play my Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Jaden draws two more cards from his deck, looks at them, and says, putting one card on his duel disk, “First, I summon Elemental Hero Knospe in attack mode!” Soon after, a small humanoid plant-like monster with a head and hands like closed off flowers with the head having only two eyes, Elemental Hero Knospe (600/1000) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smirk, “Cute new monster, but it isn't much to stop my monsters.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a sly grin, “Actually, this little guy isn't going for your monsters, it is going for you, `Lex! Thanks to Knospe's special ability, when there is another Elemental Hero on the field, he can't be attacked by your monsters and this little dude is allowed to attack you directly!”

 

Alexis yells out, surprised, “Say what?!”

 

Jaden calls out, “Knospe, show Alexis what I mean!” The little monster bypasses Alexis' two monsters and slam into her causing her to yelp when she loses 600 life-points in one shot.

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “Well, I see that you are still full of surprises as ever! Makes me wonder why I love you so much!”

 

Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “If you like that, then you are going to love this! I play the spell card Rose Bud! When Elemental Hero Knospe is on the field, I can sacrifice this little dude to summon this new `bad girl' from my deck!” Jaden then discards his Knospe monster card, a card comes out of Jaden's deck, Jaden puts the card on his duel disk, and Knospe's `buds' open up as it transforms into a brand new monster. This new monster is a female humanoid monster with black hair with luscious green plants growing out of her hair, stunning ruby red eyes, pointed ears like elves, human-like skin, dark green clothing and skirt seemly made of plant leaves, black top connecting the green leaf-like clothing that's covering much of the front of her voluptuous bust, pitch black silk stockings covering her sexy and seductive female legs, and yellow high-heeled boots seemly made of closed up flower blooms.

 

Everyone in the audience was awe-struck by Jaden's new monster, the plenty of boys thought it was beautiful while the girls thought the monster was very cute, and Alexis asks, amazed, “Jaden, what monster is that?”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “This is my newest Elemental Hero: Elemental Hero Poison Rose in defense mode!” This new monster, Elemental Hero Poison Rose (1900/2000), is in defense mode kneeling down with her arms crossed in front of her chest. Jaden says, with a sly smile, “And with that, I'll call it a turn!”

Alexis draws one card from her deck, looks at it with a sly smile, and says, putting the card in the spell/trap slots, “I play my spell! Rush Recklessly! This card gives my Ice Master an additional seven hundred attack points for this turn only!” Ice Master's stats then increase from 2500/2000 to 3200/2000! Alexis then calls out, seriously, “Now, go, Ice Master, attack his Elemental Hero Neos with Absolute Zero Blizzard!” Ice Master then prepares to move in and attack Jaden's Elemental Hero Neos.

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a serious tone, “Sorry, `Lex, but as long as Poison Rose remains on the field, she is the only one that you can attack, thanks to her ability! Rose, do your stuff!” Poison Rose creates an scent that hits Ice Master that causing her to redirect her attack right at Poison Rose, which destroys her, but Jaden's life-points are safe since his monster was in defense mode.

 

Alexis says, with a sly smile, “Nice job, Jaden. But that only brought you one turn.” Ice Master's stats then reduce back down to 2500/2000!

 

Jaden draws one card from his deck and says, looking at his card, “Well, it looks like that's all I needed!” Jaden puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “First, I play my Contact Soul spell card! Since Neos is on the field, I can summon one Neo-Spacian from my hand, deck, or graveyard as long as I return all monsters cards from field back to my deck at the end of the turn!” A card comes out of Jaden's duel deck, he puts on his duel disk, and says, “So, I play my Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab!” With a pillar of flames, Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab (500/500-900/500) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, “Neos? Scarab?” The two monsters nod their heads in unison, an outer space theme appears on the field, and Jaden calls out, “Contact Fusion!” The two monsters leap into the outer space `scene' while the two monster cards are returned to Jaden's deck, Jaden puts a fusion monster card on his duel disk, and yells out, “Combine to form Elemental Hero Flare Neos!” The two monsters unite under a bright light and Elemental Hero Flare Neos (2500/2000) comes to the field in attack mode. Jaden then says, with a sly smile, “Flare Neos gains four attack points for every spell and trap card on the field and since there are two, he gains eight hundred extra attack points!” Flare Neos' stats then rise from 2500/2000 to 3300/2000! Jaden then calls out, with a sly smile, “Neos, attack her Ice Master! Flare Storm!” Elemental Hero Flare Neos leaps into the air and fires a burst of flames right at Alexis' monster.

 

Alexis pushes a button on her duel disk and says, “Wrong, Jaden! I play my trap card! Doble Passé!” Alexis' face-down card is revealed to be the trap card known as Doble Passé and Alexis says, “You know that this trap card transfers your attack from my monster directly to me!” Flare Neos' attack then transfers to Alexis and she yelps out as she is slammed with 3300 points of damage.

 

Lita yells out, amazed, “Whoa! She nearly wiped out her life-points with that move!”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone, “However, Doble Passé has another effect that will allow her monster to directly attack Jaden. And when this turn ends, Jaden will be defenseless and Alexis will win.”

 

Mina says, amazed, “Man! She is pretty hardcore.”

 

Amara says, with a plain tone, “Alexis is a duelist foremost and she is willing to make sacrifices to win, expect sacrificing her free will, her friends, or anyone that she loves, but she will do what it takes to win.”

 

Alexis then says, with a sly tone, “Now, my monster that you were about to attack now attacks you directly! Ice Master, attack Jaden directly!”

 

However, when Ice Master prepares to attack Jaden, Jaden pushes a button on his duel disk and yells out, with a smile, “Alexis, you are one awesome duelist, but even through I love you and all, this duel is mine! I play my final trap! Backdraft!” Jaden's final face-down card is revealed to be a trap card with a monster begin blown back by a back draft of flames and Jaden says to a shocked Alexis, “This counter trap card activates when a Fire monster inflicts damage to my opponent's life-points! Now, you lose life-points equal to Flare Neos' attack points and that's nearly three thousand!”

 

Atticus yells out, shocked, “Jaden knew what Alexis' face-down must have been! I don't know how, but he had this planned!”

 

Chazz, who has recently arrived in the stands, thinks in his mind, “That Slacker comes up with a plan? I guess that he can make miracles happen.”

 

Serena, who is by her boyfriend, thinks in his mind, with a wide smile, “Way to go, bro! Looks like it is you and me in the semi-finals!” Flare Neos gathers his energy for his flame attack and launches directly at Alexis, who just gives a smile and gently closes her eyes, waiting for the end to come.

 

Alexis thinks in her mind, with a smile on her lips, “You win, Jaden! Even through I lost, I'm glad that I know that I lost to you of all people! You are one incredible duelist and I know that you can save us from that brainwashing freak!” Flare Neos' attack slams into Alexis and she yells out in shock as she loses 2900 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

With the duel done and over with, the final holograms fade away, and Alexis goes on one knee with her defeat, making everyone gasp in shock and amazement.

 

Jaden gently goes over to Alexis and when she looks at her boyfriend, he says, with a smile, “Well, `Lex, that's game.” Jaden then extends his hand towards Alexis, who gladly takes it, and rises to her feet.

 

Regaining his composer, Chancellor Sheppard yells out through the microphone and speakers, “What an incredible duel everyone! The winner of this match is Jaden Yuki, who will meet Serena Tsukino in the semi-finals! But let's give a hand to both of these awesome duelists, shall we?!” Soon enough, the whole crowd started to cheer and appalled even more so than they did after Serena's and Chazz's semi-final match with practically the whole of the student body, even Ami, Mina, Rei, Lita, and Hotaru, cheering Jaden's and Alexis' names.

 

Jaden tells Alexis, while they are looking at the audience and still holding hands, “You know, Alexis. I don't think they are any losers in a match like this with cheering like that.” When Alexis and Jaden look at each other, Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Even through I won the match, we're both winners today. You really gave me one awesome match with those new cards.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “Thanks. It is my new Cyber Ice Angel deck.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with his usual smile, “Well, that's one sweet deck, `Lex. I hope to see more of it because you and I will have a rematch one day.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with her smile, “You know it, Jay.” Alexis then kisses Jaden on the lips, much to his and the audiences' surprise, and she tells him, with a smile, “Now, go get them!”

 

Jaden nods his head and says, with his usual smile, “I know let you or anyone else down, `Lex! I'll do my best!”

 

Alexis nods her head and says, “I know.”

 

Soon enough, Jaden and Alexis walk off the dueling stage, Chancellor Sheppard, with microphone in hand, goes onto the stage, and he calls out, through the microphone, “Well, I've rarely seen an incredible duel in all of my life! Now, the quarter finals are over and the match-ups for the semi-finals are: Aster Phoenix is going against Sartorius in the first round of the semi-finals and it is `Hero' versus `Hero' when Serena Tsukino duels Jaden Yuki in the second semi-final match! The semi-finals starts the day after tomorrow, so, the four semi-finalists can prepare their decks and rest up! And I'm sure that we will be in store for duels that we will never forget!”

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, evilly, “How correct you are, Chancellor Sheppard. These will be duels that you will never forget when I gain control of the three Chosen Duelists and I use their powers along with the power of the satellite make all Earthlings become reborn with all of you worshipping the Light! And I don't need to prepare for Aster . . . Destiny has already determined his final defeat.”

 

On the meanwhile, Aster thinks in his mind, in a serious tone while looking at Sartorius, “Finally! Now, you bodysnatching freak, it is time for you to pay for your crimes and to get my friend back from your vile grip! And with my father's card to help me, I know that I will send back into the black hole or wherever it is you came from!”

 

On the meanwhile, Serena and Jaden look at each other with intense stares, knowing that they will be dueling each other in the second semi-final rounds, and Trista thinks in her mind, “My princess and her brother are going to be dueling each other to see who is strong enough to face off against Sartorius if Aster falls during the first round of the semi-finals! However, the Light of Destruction wishes for all three Chosen Duelists, Jaden, Serena, and Aster, so, I'm not sure if he is going to be satisfied with one of them to duel against in the upcoming `final battle'. I'm sure that evil force has something worse planned and if he does win against Aster, the Light of Destruction will gain his key to the controls of the Misgarth satellite, which has enough power to spread his evil power and brainwashing every living human on the planet! We need a plan to stop him, but it looks like it is in the hands of the Chosen Duelists!”

 

Jaden thinks in his mind, “You know, I knew that it would come down to this sooner or later, sis! Now, we find out which of us is the better duelist using the power of the Elemental Heroes and Neo-Spacians! But if Aster falls to that alien freak, which I really hope doesn't happen to him, this duel will also see which of us strong enough to face Sartorius.”

 

Serena thinks in his mind, amazed, “I still can't believe that this is happening! I have to face my own brother from my life as Princess Serenity in a duel that could determine the fate of the universe! If Aster falls, which Jaden and I are hoping doesn't happen, one of us has to defeat him! Because if he gets us and those keys to the satellite, the whole universe is in danger of destruction from the evil Light of Destruction! However, I believe that Jaden feels great for this duel because he and I never dueled against each other before and we, both, know that we are incredible duelists!” Jaden gives a wide sly smile at Serena and our Moon Princess replies to her brother's smile with one of her own.

 

Hotaru says, amazed, “Those two look excited for their upcoming match.”

 

Michelle tells Hotaru, with her usual smile and cool tone, “Yes, you are right, Firefly. I think they've wanted to test their skills against each other for a long time.”

 

However, Rei thinks in her mind, solemnly while looking at Aster, “But first, Aster has the face off against that demon possessing his friend's body and we already know that he messes with their heads to throw them off their game as well as what happens to them when they lose to that freak! I was lucky or unlucky because I had a curse from my Hino family bloodline that had that evil spirit that prevented that alien freak from controlling me with his evil light. What will happen to Serena and Jaden if those lose to this asshole? What will happen if Aster loses?” Rei couldn't help herself to worry about the Destiny Hero duelist, which is noticed by Darien, Serena, Ami, Mina, Hotaru, Amara, Michelle, and Trista.

 

(Late the next morning; Within Duel Academy's harbor)

 

The next day, as preparations for the semi-final matches the following day continue on, we find our Destiny Hero duelist looking out to sea in the clear blue skies and bright sunny morning with his duel disk attached to his left wrist with his dueling deck inserted into his duel disk. Aster draws one card from his deck, looks to see his Destiny Hero-Plasma (1900/600) card, and he remembers about what happened during his duel with The D along with the promise that his father, whose soul was trapped with Light of Destruction possessed monster card, that Aster promised to keep along with his memories of Sartorius when they were kids along with the promise that Aster made to Sartorius when he would fall into the control of evil.

 

Aster thinks in his mind, seriously, “Don't worry, Sartorius! I will not go back on my word! I will save you from that brainwashing alien freak that took over your body! And dad, I will do what you asked me and I will save mankind from that asshole! Thanks to the power of this card by my side, I will save Sartorius and get rid of the Light of Destruction, once and for all! This card helped me save Serena's and Jaden's friend, Rei Hino, from that evil spirit that cursed her family and I know that it will help me stop that brainwashing jerk!” Just then Aster hears footsteps coming towards him and he turns to see Rei Hino walking towards him. Aster asks Rei, curiously, “What are you doing here?”

 

Rei replies, in her usual manner, “I should be asking you the same thing. Alexis told me that she goes over here to think.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with his usual sly smile, “I guess that Jaden's girlfriend and I have something in common. So, why are you here?”

 

Rei retorts, in her usual manner, “What do you think?”

 

Aster tells Rei, with his sly smile, “How should I know? I'm not an expert on girls.”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a sly smile and sarcastic tone, “With the way that you make girls swoon over you, I'm surprised.”

 

Aster replies, with a sly smile, “Touché.” Aster tells Rei, with a serious tone, “However, I'm sure that you aren't here just to talk.”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a slight blush, “I'm just here to say thank you for saving me from that evil spirit that took over my body.”

 

Aster replies, with a sly tone, “No problem, Rei.” Aster tells Rei, seriously, “However, why did you face Sartorius? You know that you really didn't stand a chance against him because his powers allow him to see your move before you can make it.”

 

Rei tells Aster, in a serious tone, “Serena is my best friend in the world and Jaden is his brother! I'm one of the guardians of my princess and even if it takes my life, I've had to try to protect her and her family from someone like him!”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a plain tone, “Well, remember, if you didn't have Lady Eris within you because of your family curse, you would be wearing white and trying to brainwash your princess instead of helping her.”

 

Rei sighs and says, solemnly, “Yeah. But I had to try . . . to stop him without Serena, Jaden, and you from facing him.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “I know that Serena means a lot to you. She is like a sister to you, but you have to think about how she feels about you, too. How would she feel if you got brainwashed trying to protect her?”

 

Rei nods her head, knowing that Aster is right what he is implying, and says, “Yeah, you're right.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a smile, “Look, Rei, I'm not saying what you did was wrong. Sometimes, you've got to leave things like this to those who can. Isn't Sailor Moon the one that usually the only one that finish off the monsters that you fight?”

 

Rei says, with a smile, “Yep. She usually is. We weaken the monster and she is the one that finishes them off.” Rei then asks Aster, “So, you are saying that we have to allow you, Serena, and Jaden try to stop Sartorius while we give them support from the sidelines?”

 

Aster tells Rei, with his sly smile, “Usually those two seem to get better and better when they know that you are all behind them. Me, on the other hand, I can handle myself.”

 

Rei asks Aster, “Aren't you friends with Jaden?”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile and plain tone, “I respect Jaden as a fellow duelist and know better than to underestimate him. He might seem like an amateur, if you underestimate his abilities, he will surprise you and most likely, you will lose to him. He has that uncanny ability to create miracles, much like his recently found long lost sister.”

 

Rei says, with a smile, “Yeah, Meatball Head and her brother are so much alike, including their appetites.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with his sly smile, “Now, that's something we don't want to get into.”

 

Rei replies, with a smile of her own, “No kidding. They are like living garbage disposals.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile, “I've got to agree with you there.” Rei then nervously inches closer to Aster until she is near Aster causing her to give out a blush from her cheeks. When Aster notices Rei nearby, it causes him to give a blush as well. Aster asks Rei, a bit nervously, “Rei, is that all you wanted to say to me?”

 

Rei replies, also nervously in her tone, “No. No. It's just . . . I . . . I wanted to wish you luck . . . and hope that you will be careful.”

 

Aster asks, curiously, “Not going to try to convince me not to fight Sartorius?”

 

Rei tells Aster, with her usual tone, “No, knowing someone like and how many times that you said that you will fulfill your promises to the real Sartorius and his dad, I know there is no stopping you. Sartorius means as much to you as much as Serena means to me. He is like a brother to you like Serena is like a sister to me and I know that you will do anything and brave any danger to save him as I would do anything to protect and save Serena if she were in a similar situation.” Rei then says, with a nervous tone, “So . . . please just be careful . . . for your friend . . .?”

 

Aster asks Rei, with a sly smile, “Just for my friend, the real Sartorius?”

 

Rei replies, with a nervous look and trying to sound serious and a bit annoyed, “Of course, just him! He is your best friend that's like your brother!” However, Aster continues to give a sly smile as he turns towards Rei and he puts his left hand on her left cheek causing her to look at him. When she does so, Aster move his face closer to Rei's face, his lips edging closer to hers, and causing her to blush a deep cheery red. Normally, Rei would bash a guy for doing something like this, but this time, Rei could only blush and not make a single move as Aster's lips edge closer to hers until they connect in a passionate kiss. Aster gently pushes his tongue into Rei's mouth and tastes every single bit of her mouth and saliva. Normally, Rei would snap a man away before beating him up for doing something like that, but this time, it was different. Rei couldn't do a thing because the kiss from Aster felt so intoxicating and pleasurable that Rei couldn't help herself to respond by returning the kiss with the same passion and desire that Aster was showing in the kiss. Aster gently wraps his arms around Rei's slender and sexy waistline and bring her closer making their bodies touch causing Rei to give a cheery red blush on her cheeks and Rei, unable to help herself, wrap her arms around his strong and masculine sides and back. They break off the kiss only to get air and during the kiss, they began to duel with their tongues and Rei manages to punch her tongue into Aster's mouth and taste every nook and carnie of his mouth. Rei thinks in her mind, “Wait! What am I doing?! I shouldn't be doing this with him . . . but the taste of his mouth . . . he's so . . . so intoxicating . . . and his body . . . I can't help myself . . . I feel so warm inside . . . I've always felt good with my friends and Darien-kun, but not like this . . . even when I was crushing on Darien-kun . . . I never felt this way . . . so warm . . . comfortable . . . Am I . . . Am I really in love with him?”

 

When they break off from the kiss, they look at each other and Aster asks Rei, with a sly smile, “Are you sure that concern is just because I'm Sartorius' best friend?”

 

Rei replies, in a rare very nervous tone, “Yes . . . No . . . I mean . . .”

 

Aster gently releases from their embrace and replies, with a sly smile, “Don't worry, I understand. I'll be careful for Sartorius' . . . and for your sake as well. I'll come back. I promise.”

 

Rei replies, curiously, through not trying to sound too concerned, “You do? Not that I am too worried, of course.”

 

Aster gives a sly smile and says, slyly, “Thanks for the vote of confidence, Rei. Later!” Aster then walks off back towards the dorms and Duel Academy leaving a concerned Rei as he left.

 

Rei says, in a low tone, “You had better damn well come back. I'll never forgive if you don't.” Just then hears a noise from nearby and looks to see Atticus, Mina, Lita, Ami, and Serena watching over them. Rei yells out, with a very annoyed look and very annoyed tone, “Hey! What in the hell are all of you doing here?!”

 

Mina replies, nervously, “Uh, there is a reasonable explanation, Rei. It's not like we followed you or something!”

 

Atticus nods his head and replies, nervously, “Yeah, Rei. It's not like we were spying or something!”

 

Serena tells Mina and Atticus, drolly, “Nice, you, two!”

 

Rei calls out, in a very annoyed tone, “You were spying on me!”

 

Ami replies, nervously, “We . . . We didn't mean to!”

 

Lita tells Rei, with a nervous smile and nervous voice, “Yeah, Rei! We would never do that!”

 

Mina says, with a sly smile, “Through I think certain miko likes a certain Pro League duelist.”

 

Rei replies, wildly blushing in embarrassment, “No, I do not!”

 

Atticus tells Rei, with a sly grin, “Come on, Rei! Then why are you blushing when Mina asked?!”

 

Rei becomes really annoyed and yells out, very annoyed tone in her voice, “Now, I know why Alexis really gets pissed off at you, surfer boy! And personally, you and Mina are really made for each other because you are real pain in the asses when you do things like this!”

 

Mina says, with a sly tone, “Come on, Rei! You can't change Atticus-chan's point! He knows that you are lying!” Mina then sings out, “Rei and Aster sitting in a tree . . .!” Rei gives out a loud roar of anger and starts to charge her friends and Mina's new boyfriend.

 

Serena yells out, fearfully, “Yipe! Did you have to do that and get her really mad?!” Soon enough, Ami, Mina, Lita, Serena, and Atticus were running for their lives while Rei is hot on their heals ready to kick Mina's and Atticus' butts. On the meanwhile, watching from the nearby cliff is none other than Alexis Rhodes and Jaden Yuki with Alexis giving a nervous sweatdrop and gently slapping her forehead with her right palm.

 

Alexis says, drolly, “Why should I be surprised by this? Mina and Atticus are very much alike.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with his usual smile, “Well, she isn't the Sailor Scout of Love for the Moon Kingdom for nothing, Alexis.”

 

Alexis says, with a sly smile and sarcastic tone, “Tell me about it.” Alexis then looks as Atticus, Serena, and the three other Inner Sailor Scouts are out of sight and she asks Jaden, softly, “Jaden, do you think it is a good idea for Aster to go up against that freak?”

 

Jaden takes a deep breath and replies, “No matter what I say Alexis, Aster is going to duel Sartorius, sooner or later. Sartorius is Aster's best friend in the world, more like a big brother, and with his father truly gone forever, the real Sartorius is very precious to him.”

 

Alexis nods her head and says, with a sigh, “Yeah, I get what you are saying, Jay. I just . . . I just hope for Rei's and the world's sake that Aster survives this duel without falling to the Light of Destruction.

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a serious tone, “Same here, Alexis.” As Alexis and Jaden look up into the skies, Alexis is gently embraced by her boyfriend and Alexis puts her head on Jaden's shoulder, hoping that they can find a way to beat the Light of Destruction's `Destiny of Doom'.

 

(In front of the `White Dorm'; in the late hours of the morning of the following day)

 

In the late morning hours on Academy Island, there is a huge outside hologram dueling platform set up in front of the `White Dorm', which is starting to be `restored' into the Obelisk Blue Dorm, the Girls' Dorm mainly, since the Society of Light only has Sartorius left and his `unofficial power' over the dorm has been gone and allowing our heroes and heroines to have the dorm be restored with work already started on the Girls' Dorm. Surrounding the dueling platform are a huge number of seats for the Academy students, Pro League duelists, and various other guests that have recently arrived on Academy Island. In the center of the platform, we find the Light of Destruction possessed Sartorius, with a sick evil grin on his lips, and Aster Phoenix, a look of determination on his expression, shuffling each other's decks.

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with his sick evil grin, “Isn't this interesting? You and I are about to duel each other.”

 

Aster says, with a sly grin on his lips, “Surprised?”

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with his sick evil grin on his lips, “Not at all, Aster. You should remember that predicting the future is my specialty.”

 

Aster retorts, in a sarcastic manner, “Oh, really? Did you predict that I would have a certain card in my deck or that I would use it to end you and your plans?”

 

Sartorius replies, with his sick evil grin not vanishing in the least, “That's where you are wrong, Aster. The cards have already predicted your destiny. You will fall and the key will be mine.”

 

Aster tells Sartorius, after finishing shuffling Sartorius' deck, “We'll see about that freak.”

 

Sartorius tells Aster, when he finishing shuffling Aster's deck, “Now, Aster, is that anyway to talk to an old friend?”

 

Aster replies, with a deadly glare in his eyes, “My friend has been taken away from me and replaced by some freak from outer space. But know this, I will get him back and send you back to whatever hellhole in space you came from.”

 

The two of them gave back each other's decks and Sartorius tells Aster, with his sick evil grin, “We'll see about that, Aster. You shall soon learn that not even a Chosen Duelist like you can escape destiny.”

 

Aster replies, with his sly grin, “That's what you think, freak.”

 

Sartorius retorts, still having his sick evil grin, “No, that's what I know Aster, my boy.” Sartorius and Aster then turn their backs to each other and head to opposite sides of the platform to prepare for their duel. Meanwhile, our heroes and heroines are watching from the stands and many of them have serious looks on their faces.

 

Lita says, seriously, “Here we go.”

 

Tyranno states, in his serious tone, “This is it, troops. Private Phoenix is about to go one-on-one with that big alien sicko.”

 

Jaden says, in a low tone, “Good luck, bro. Stay safe and get your game on.”

 

Michelle says, with a serious tone, “This will be the duel of his life. He has one of the two keys that control the Misgarth satellite.”

 

Darien says, with his own serious expression and tone, “Yes. If Aster loses, he will not only get control of Aster, he will need only one more key for the satellite.”

 

Trista says, with a serious tone, “And he will only need Serena and Jaden to complete his conquest and ultimate destruction of the universe.”

 

Rei thinks in her mind, with a concerned look on her face, “Come on, Aster! Show this freak what a real duelist can do!” Meanwhile, Aster and Sartorius get into their positions for the duel, they insert their dueling decks into their duel disks, and activate them causing their life-point counters to display 4000 life-points for each duelist.

 

Chancellor Sheppard yells out through a microphone he is carrying in his right hand, “Okay, if the duelists are ready! Let the semi-final match between Aster Phoenix and Sartorius begin!”

 

Aster yells out, seriously, “Sounds good to me!”

 

Sartorius and Aster draw five cards from their decks and say in unison, “Game on!”

Aster: 4000

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “If you don't mind, I'll go first!” Aster puts one card on his duel disk and says, “I'll start with this! A Destiny Hero! Diamond Dude, you are on!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) comes to the field in defense mode. Aster then says, “Next, I'll play his effect! I flip the top card of my deck and if it is a Normal spell card, then it is mine!” Aster draws the top card from his deck, displays his Destiny Draw Normal spell card, discards it to his graveyard, and says, while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “It's Destiny Draw! So, I'll store it in my graveyard and place this face-down!”

 

Sartorius draws one card from his deck and says, “As you wish.” Sartorius puts one card on his duel disk and says, “I'll start with this! Arcana Force VII known as The Chariot!” Soon after, Arcana Force VII-The Chariot (1700/1700) comes to the field in attack mode, the image of the card appears above the monster's head, and starts to rotate. Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly evil grin, “The position of the card will determine its special ability and all you have to do is tell it to stop, but destiny has already decided where the card will stop and it will stop right side up. However, see for yourself.”

 

Aster yells out, annoyed, “Fine! Stop!” The card slows down and instantly stops exactly on the upright position causing Aster to gasp in shock.

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly evil grin, “Why do you seem so surprised? I told you that destiny is in control, not you.” Sartorius then calls out, “Now, Chariot, offer Diamond Dude a lesson in firepower! Master Blast!” The Chariot fires an energy beam at Diamond Dude and destroys Aster's monster, but since it was in defense mode, Aster's life-points are safe.

 

Aster pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Sorry, pal, but I play my face-down! Destiny Signal!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the Destiny Signal trap card and Aster says, with a serious tone, “Since you've destroyed one of my monsters, I get to summon a new one from my deck as long as it is a Destiny Hero with four stars or less!” Aster then goes through his deck, takes out one card, puts his deck back into his duel disk, puts the card on his duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I summon my Destiny Hero-Defender!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Defender (100/2700) comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly evil grin, “That's nice, Aster. Now, if you allow me to continue, since The Chariot is right side up, I can re-summon your Diamond Dude as my own!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) comes to Sartorius' side of the field in attack mode. Aster gives a snarl, Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “I'll conclude with one card face-down on the field.”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, discarding his Destiny Hero-Malicious (800/800) monster card to the graveyard, “Don't forget that now I can play my Destiny Draw that I discard one turn ago, thanks to my Diamond Dude's effect. So, I discard one Destiny Hero and draw two cards!” Aster then draws two more cards from his deck, Aster removes that same monster card from his deck, puts it in his pocket and out of play, and says, while taking a card out of his deck, “Next, I'll remove the card that I sent to my graveyard, my Malicious, from play to summon another one from deck!” Aster puts the card on his duel disk and another Destiny Hero-Malicious (800/800) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Next, I sacrifice Malicious to summon Destiny Hero-Dasher!” Malicious vanishes in a stream of light to be replaced by Destiny Hero-Dasher (2100/1000) in attack mode. Aster calls out, “Now, Dasher, destroy that Chariot with Pyrokinetic Shock!” Dasher rushes in causing sparks to form on its wheels from the friction that it is creating and it slams into The Chariot causing a large explosion and Sartorius to lose 400 life-points, but the villain doesn't lose his evil grin.

 

Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin, “Not bad, Aster. You've managed to make contact. Barely, however, but next time, you might make a dent. If there is a next time, that is.”

 

Destiny Hero-Dasher switches from attack to defense from its effect, Aster puts two cards in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Your mind games won't work on me. I place two cards face-down and I call it a turn.”

Sartorius draws one card from his deck and says, “Now, unless you forget the ability of your monsters', since Defender is face-up in defense mode, I get to draw one more card from my deck.” Aster nods his head in agreement, Sartorius draws one more card from his deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next, I play my Pot of Greed! This card allows me two more cards from my deck. Now, let's see what destiny has given me.” Sartorius draws two more cards from his deck and says, putting one card on his duel disk, “Ah! Interesting! I sacrifice my Diamond Dude to summon Arcana Force Twelve also known as The Hangman!” Diamond Dude vanishes off of Sartorius' field and Arcana Force XII-The Hangman (2200/2200) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

In the stands, going to our heroes and heroines, Chazz immediately becomes nervous when he sees that card and Jasmine asks him, “What's the matter with you, Chazz?”

 

Chazz says, in his snobbish tone with a nervousness in his voice, “That's the same card that freak defeated me with.”

 

Our heroes and heroines jump back slightly in shock and Jaden says, worriedly, “That's not good.” On the meanwhile, the card's image appears above the monster's head and starts to rotate.

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with an evil sly grin, “Go ahead, but I already know that this card will land the same way as my Chariot.”

 

Aster yells out, annoyed, “Can you be anymore annoying?!” After a few minutes, Aster yells out, “Stop!” The card slows down, it seem like it was about to stop in the upside down position, but it moves past it and lands up in the right side up position. Aster calls out, stunned, “No way! Impossible!”

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with an evil grin, “Oh, but it is, Aster! And you know why?! Because it is your destiny to lose this duel and become one with the Light and there is nothing you can do about it!” Sartorius then says, evilly, “Moving on, however, since the Hangman landed right side up, one monster of your side of the field is automatically destroyed and you lose the value of its attack power! And I choose your Dasher!” Aster's Destiny Hero-Dasher explodes and Aster yelps out in shock as he loses 2100 life-points in one shot.

 

Jaden and Rei yell out in shock, “Aster!”

 

Sartorius puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “But I'm not done, yet! I play Quick-Summon! This card allows me to summon another monster to the field!” Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “So, meet Arcana Force Four-The Emperor!” Just then Arcana Force IV-The Emperor (1400/1400) comes to the field in attack mode and the card image's appears above the monster's head as it starts to rotate. Sartorius tells Aster, evilly, “Go on. You know what to do, Aster.”

 

Aster says, annoyed, “Yeah! Yeah! I know!” Aster takes a minute and then he yells out, “Stop!” And once again, like before, the card lands in the right side up position.

 

In the audience, Serena yells out, stunned, “What?! A third time in a row!”

 

Sartorius laughs evilly and says, “Well, what do you know? Another card lands right side up and due to the Emperor's effect, all Arcana Force monsters get stronger by five hundred more attack points!” Arcana Force XII-The Hangman's stats rise from 2200/2200 to 2700/2200 and The Emperor's stats rise from 1400/1400 to 1900/1400! Sartorius puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'm not done, yet! I play another spell! It is called Knight of Swords!” Just then a spell card with an image of a knight surrounded by multiple swords comes to the field and starts to rotate like Sartorius' Arcana Force monsters.

 

Sartorius remains silent, knowing that Aster knows what to do, and Aster yells out, annoyed tone in his voice, “Okay, stop!” After a short while, the card stops on the right side up position, much to everyone's shock.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil slip-song tone, “Well, another card lands right side up. Who could have predicted that? Oh, wait! Me! Now, thanks to this card's effect, my monster's gain five hundred more attack points for the duration of the turn!” The Hangman's stats rise fro 2700/2200 to 3200/2200 and The Emperor's stats rise from 1900/1400 to 2400/1400!

 

Aster says, with a droll tone, “Just perfect.”

 

Sartorius calls out, “Arcana Force Twelve, destroy his Defender!” The Hangman extends his tentacles out until they wrap Aster's Defender and crush it, but since it was in defense mode, Aster doesn't lose any life-points. Sartorius then calls out, with an evil smile, “Now, Arcana Force Four, attack Aster directly and end this duel!” Arcana Force IV moves in to attack Aster directly.

 

Jaden calls out, stunned, “Aster!”

 

Aster pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Hold it! I play my trap! My D-Fortune! Since you attacked me directly, I get to play this trap! Now, I remove one Destiny Hero from the game and your attack is canceled out!” Aster removes his Destiny Hero-Defender from the grave and The Emperor's attack is negated.

 

Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Fine! Now, I play my King of Coins!” Just then a spell card with a golden king's crown surrounded by golden coins and the card starts to rotate around. Sartorius tells Aster, “This must seem really familiar to you, Aster, but I already know that this card will land right side up.”

 

Aster yells out, in a very serious tone, “Oh, really? Stop!” The card slows down, it seems like it would end up in the upside down position, but it ends up in the upside position, like Sartorius predicted. Aster says, annoyed, “This is getting annoying!”

 

Sartorius tells Aster, with an evil grin, “Like I said before, it is your destiny to lose, but moving on, since this card landed right side up, I get to draw from my deck until I have six cards in my hand!” Sartorius then draws cards from his deck until he has six cards in his hand, Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I place this card face-down and it is your turn to take a shot.” The Hangman's stats reduce down to 2700/2200 and The Emperor's stats down to 1900/1400!

Aster draws one card from his deck, looks at it, and says, “Thanks to my Dasher's special ability, I can summon the monster that I drew right now!” Aster puts the card on his duel disk and says, “So, meet Destiny Hero-Double Dude!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Double Dude (1000/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “But that's not all, dude! I play this! My trap D-Chain trap card!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the D-Chain trap card and Aster says, seriously, “And now, I give it to my Double Dude, giving him an extra five hundred attack points!” Double Dude's stats rise from 1000/1000 to 1500/1000 as the chain appears around his arms.

 

Sartorius tells Aster, “Not bad, but not good enough to defeat my monsters.”

 

Aster's Field Spell slot opens, he puts a card in the spell/trap slots, and he says, with a sly smile, “Who said that I was done? Next, I play my Dark City Field Spell!” When the Field Spell slot closes, a huge city made of building that look like something out of an old action comic or made of cardboard with a full moon and dark blue clear skies full of stars surrounds the two duelists. Aster then says, with a sly grin, “Now, if my heroes are weaker than your monsters, they gain one thousand extra attack points! Like right now!” Double Dude's stats rise from 1500/1000 to 2500/1000, thanks to Dark City, he transforms from his dressed up guy into a version of Mr. Hyde as he throws the chain right into The Emperor, destroying it, and costing Sartorius 600 life-points. Aster then says, with a sly smile and serious tone, “But wait, pal! There's more! When a monster equip with D-Chain destroys a monster in battle, you lose five hundred extra life-points!” Double Dude launches the chain right at Sartorius, he grunts as it slams into him, and he loses 500 more life-points while Arcana Force XII-The Hangman's stats reduced back down to 2200/2200. Aster then yells out, seriously, “However, lest you forget, Sartorius, my Double Dude has a double attack! Now, take out that Hangman!” Double Dude returns to his original `gentlemen form' and slams the chain into The Hangman, costing Sartorius another 300 life-points. Aster then says, with a sly grin, “And now, my D-Chain takes another five hundred points from your score!” Sartorius grunt as he loses 500 more life-points when Double Dude slams the D-Chain directly into him.

 

Syrus yells out, amazed, “Awesome! He really turned this duel around!”

 

Mindy says, amazed, “Now, that was some move!”

 

Kanu says, with a smile, “I agree, girlfriend.”

 

Amara says, with a serious expression and tone, “Well, the duel might be in Aster's favor, but like our prince says `A duel isn't over until the last card is played'. So, we can't believe that Aster has won until that freak's life-points hit zero.”

Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly grin, “Well done, Aster. I've got to say that I'm impressed.” Sartorius draws one card from his deck and says, evilly, “However, even you can't stop destiny, so, watch and learn!” Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play Pentacle of Ace!” The hologram of the Pentacle of Ace spell card appears on the field and Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin, “Well, you get the idea, Aster.”

 

Aster says, annoyed, “I know! Stop!” And the card slows down and stops in the upright position.

 

Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin, “Well, what do you know? Right side up. Now, I draw one more card from my deck and I gain five hundred life-points!” Sartorius draws one more card from his deck and his life-points increase by 500 more points. Sartorius then puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your Dark City!” Just then a huge wind comes to the field and Aster's Dark City is destroyed.

 

Aster yells out, in an annoyed tone, “Oh, great!”

 

Sartorius puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Necro Sacrifice spell card! Now, I can summon up to two monsters from my graveyard and put them on your side of the field! Then I can summon any high-level monster in my hand based on the number of monsters that I gave to you! So, I think I'll give you my Emperor and my Chariot!” Just then two lights shoot out of Sartorius' graveyard and they go to Aster's side of the field becoming Arcana Force VII-The Chariot (1700/1700) and Arcana Force IV-The Emperor (1400/1400) and Aster says, with a sly evil grin, “But you get to choose their modes!”

 

Aster says, seriously, “And I choose defense mode!” Both monsters then switch to defense mode and the card images appear above their heads.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil slip-song tone, “How boring, but I'm not surprised. Even without my ability to foresee destiny, I know you would do that. Now, it is my turn to move to wheel of fate along.” Sartorius then says, with an evil smile, “Stop! Right there in your upside down positions!” Soon after, both cards land upside down just as Sartorius predicted.

 

Aster says, annoyed, “You've got to be kidding me!”

 

Lita yells out, angrily, “Man! Can't Aster get one break?!”

 

Sartorius then says, with an evil smile, “I'll say again Aster, this duel has already been played out and your destiny has been determined. Now, moving on, since the Chariot is upside down, when I destroy it in battle, it will be re-summoned to my side of the field and since The Emperor is upside down, your new monster loses five hundred attack points.” The Emperor's stats reduce down from 1400/1400 to 900/1400 and The Chariot's stats reduce down from 1700/1700 to 1200/1700! Sartorius then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “And now, Aster, it is time to meet the next member of my team, Aster! Arcana Force Fifteen also known as The Fiend!” Just then Arcana Force XV-The Fiend (2500/2500), a misshaped dark red creature with multiple hook-like tentacles, comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Mina yells out, grossed out, “Yuck! Ugly!”

 

Mindy tells Mina, nodding her head in agreement and in a grossed out tone, “No joke, Mina!”

 

Aster gasps in shock and thinks, “That card represents the evil that possesses Sartorius, the Light of Destruction! Maybe if I can defeat it, I'll win!” Just then the card image appears above the monster's head and starts to rotate, but soon after Aster calls it to the stop, it lands in the right side up position. Aster says, angrily, “What?!”

 

Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin, “I've told you before and I'll tell you, again, Aster! You can't stop destiny!” Sartorius then calls out, “Now, Fiend, attack his Double Dude!” Sartorius' monster slams it's tentacle into Double Dude, destroying it, costing Aster 1000 life-points, but then The Chariot also explodes, much to Aster's and everyone's else surprise. Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly grin, “By the way, Aster, when my Fiend is right side up, when it destroys a monster in battle, another monster on the field is automatically destroyed and the owner loses five hundred life-points!” Just then The Fiend's hook-like tentacle slams into Aster, knocking him off his feet, and he slams into the ground, temporary stunned, while his life-points drop by 500 more points. Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll place this face-down and pass on to you.”

However, Aster is temporary stunned and can't get to his feet causing the audience to wonder if he can continue the duel as well as him being seriously hurt.

 

Jaden yells out at Aster, “Aster, you've got to get up! You can't give up!”

 

Sartorius tells Jaden, with a sly evil grin, “Don't even bother, Jaden Yuki! He is obviously too out of it to continue! I think that this duel is too much for him! So, I'll take that victory!”

 

Rei calls out to Aster, in her serious and strong tone, “Aster, you better get up! You said that you would save your friend from the evil possessing him and you made a promise to me to come out all right! If you don't, I'll kick your ass right here and now!”

 

Serena says, nervously, “Yeah, that will get him up, Rei.” However, it looks like if Rei's `pep talk' had the effect since Aster moans as he starts to roll around and slowly get to his feet.

 

Aster thinks in his mind, wearily, “Rei's right! I can't give up this fight! I made a promise to Sartorius and I won't go back on my word! I've got to stop this body-snatching and brainwashing freak right here and now! But even through I want to fight, I can barely make my body do what I want! Damn it! I can't surrender, but I need more strength!”

 

However, a familiar gentle and kind voice says, calling out to Aster's mind, “Perhaps, I can lend a hand, my friend.” Aster gasps in shock at the sound of the voice.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sly grin, “Don't even bother giving him false hope, girl! His friend is long gone and I'm here to stay!”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “Wrong! I'm right here!”

 

Sartorius gasps in shock and he exclaims, surprised, “Who said that?!” Sartorius then looks towards Aster, gasping in shock when he sees him. Aster's left side of his face gives his usual expression while the right side has a solemn and gentle expression on his face.

 

Aster then draws one card from his and says, in a duel voice, “My move!” Just then the image of the real Sartorius appears behind him and the `Evil Sartorius' gasps in shock. Aster then says, in a duel voice with his own voice and the real Sartorius' voice, “Since Double Dude has been sent to the graveyard last turn, I can summon two Double Dude Tokens to take his place!” Soon after, two Double Dude Tokens (1000/1000) come to the field in attack mode. Aster puts a card on his duel disk and says, in his duel voice, “Then I sacrifice them and your Emperor to summon Destiny Hero-Dogma!” The Emperor and both Double Dude Tokens vanish from the field and Destiny Hero-Dogma (3400/2400) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then calls out, in his duel voice, “Now, Dogma, take out his Fiend!” Dogma rushes in to attack Evil Sartorius' monster, slices it in half, and Sartorius yells out as his loses 900 life-points. Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, in his duel voice, “Now, I end with one card face-down!”

Aster whips a tear from his right eye and he says, mentally, “Thank you, old friend.”

 

The real Sartorius' voice replies, mentally, “It is nothing, Aster. It is the least I can do for all of the pain and trouble that the Light has caused you and the others while in my body.”

 

Aster tells the real Sartorius, who soul was in his body, “Don't blame yourself, Sartorius! That freak used your pain and sorrow against you to create that evil side to you and take over your body! But don't worry, I plan to get it back!”

 

Evil Sartorius says, angrily, “Nice move! Too bad, it will be your last!”

 

Aster tells Evil Sartorius, in his own stern voice, “Don't count on it! Now, thanks to Dogma's ability, you lose half of your life-points right now!” Evil Sartorius yelps out as Dogma's ability cut his life-points in half and Aster says, with a sly grin, “So much for `destiny', huh?”

 

Evil Sartorius tells Aster, “We'll see about that, Aster!” Evil Sartorius says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play Cup of Ace!” The spell card appears on the field and rotates around, but when Aster tells it to stop, it lands right side up. Evil Sartorius says, with a sly evil grin, “Since the card landed right side up, I get two more cards from my deck!” Evil Sartorius draws two more cards from his deck and says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Reserve Reborn spell card! I can summon one Arcana Force monster from my graveyard, but it will be in the upside down position! Now, let's give a welcome back to my Fiend!” Soon after, Arcana Force XV-The Fiend (2500/2500) returns to the field in attack mode. Evil Sartorius then says, pushing a button on the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play this Quick-Spell card Rush Reckless!” Evil Sartorius' face-down card is the Rush Reckless spell card and he says, evilly, “This card gives my Fiend an extra seven hundred attack points for this turn!” The Fiend's stats rise from 2500/2500 to 3200/2500!

 

Aster says, with a perplexed look, “So, what? It doesn't have the power to beat my Dogma!”

 

Evil Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “Yes, but when The Fiend attacks, all monsters on the field are automatically destroyed!” Aster gasps in shock and The Fiend rushes in, grabs Dogma from behind, and both monsters are destroyed while Evil Sartorius loses 200 life-points. Evil Sartorius then puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my King of Swords spell!” A hologram of a spell card with an image of a king with multiple swords in his hand appears on the field and Evil Sartorius says, with an evil smirk, “Thanks to this card, I can remove one Arcana Force monster from my graveyard from play to summon another one from my hand! So, I remove my Fiend from play!” Evil Sartorius removes his Arcana Force XV-The Fiend (2500/2500) from his graveyard, puts it in his pocket, and puts one card on his duel disk, calling out, “Now, meet Arcana Force Twenty-One also known as The World!” Just then a huge flash comes over the field and out of that light, Arcana Force XXI-The World (3100/3100), an alien-like monster, comes to the field in attack mode, the image of the card appears over its head, and it stops in the right side up position.

 

Aster says, annoyed, “Not again!”

 

Evil Sartorius tells Aster, with a sly grin, “Don't look too disappointed, Aster! My spell card has a bit of downside! My opponent gets to draw two extra cards from his or her deck and this monster can't attack this turn!” Aster draws two more cards from his deck, Evil Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “I'll end with this card face-down!”

Aster draws one card from his deck, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I play my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Aster draws three cards from his deck, discards two cards from his hand, and says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play my Monster Reborn to summon Dreadmaster back from the graveyard!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Dreadmaster (?/?) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then says, “Now, thanks to his effect, I can summon two Destiny Heroes back to the field! And I choose my Destiny Hero-Dasher and the other hero that I sent to my grave, thanks to Graceful Charity, Destiny Hero-Disk Commander!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Dasher (2100/1000) and Destiny Hero-Disk Commander (300/300) appear on the field in defense mode. Aster then draws two more cards from his deck and says, “And since my Disk Commander was special summoned from my grave, I get two more cards from my deck! Plus, my Dreadmaster's attack and defense points are equal to the attack points of Disk Commander and Dasher!” Dreadmaster's stats then rise from 0/0 to 2400/2400!

 

Evil Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “Those monsters can't come close to my monster!”

 

Aster puts one card on his duel disk and yells out, “That's why I sacrifice all three of them in order to summon my ultimate monster! The very card that my father created!” Evil Sartorius gasps in shock as all three monsters vanish from the field and whirlpool of crimson red liquid forms to Aster's left. Aster then calls out, seriously, “Meet my new friend! Destiny Hero-Plasma!” Out of the whirlpool of crimson red liquid, Destiny Hero-Plasma (1900/600) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then says, seriously, “Now, my Plasma absorbs one monster on your side of the field and it gains its special abilities along with half of its attack power! I think that I will choose The World!” Plasma's wings extend out, a huge sucking wind comes to the field, and The World is absorbed into Plasma's wings causing its stats to rise from 1900/600 to 3450/600! Aster then displays his D-Force spell card, puts the card on the top of his deck, and says, “Next, I play my D-Force spell card! As long as this spell card remains on the top of my deck, I can't draw any more cards, but Plasma's ability remains in effect! Now, all of your monster effects, spell, and trap cards are useless against me!”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Awesome! Aster just brought himself the win!”

 

Aster asks the real Sartorius, mentally, “Ready, old friend?”

 

The real Sartorius replies, mentally, “Ready, Aster!”

 

Aster then calls out, seriously, “Now, Plasma, attack him directly!” Aster then calls out, in a duel voice, “With Vengeful Rain!” Plasma then rains down crimson red bolts down at Evil Sartorius.

 

Evil Sartorius displays his Arcana Force XIV-The Temperance (2400/2400) monster card, discards it to his graveyard, and says, with an evil smile, “Thanks to the Temperance, your Battle Damage for this attack is reduced to zero!” The attack slams into Evil Sartorius, but the villain doesn't get any damage from the attack.

 

The real Sartorius tells Aster, mentally, “Oh no!”

 

Aster tells the real Sartorius, mentally, “Don't worry, dude! We will get him next time!”

 

Evil Sartorius draws one card from his deck and says, with an evil gleam in his eyes, “It is time for the final move in this duel!” Evil Sartorius pushes two buttons on his duel disk and says, “Now, I reveal my trap cards! Material Lord and Spiritual Lord!” Evil Sartorius' face-down cards are revealed to be Material Lord and Spiritual Lord, the two cards send two columns of light, one blue light and one red light, into the sky, and Evil Sartorius says, his tone becoming more deeper and evil sounding, “And from my hand, I play Sky Lord!” Just then a green column of light surrounds Evil Sartorius as a card comes out of his dueling deck, he puts one of his duel disk, and yells out, with a deeper and more evil tone, “Now, I sacrifice these three lights to summon the most powerful monster in my deck! Arcana Force Extra-The Light Ruler!” Just then the columns of three lights coverage and explode into bright sickly white light forcing everyone to cover their eyes as a figure comes out of the light. When the light dies down, a huge monster that looks like an alien with armored black scales with red outlines with one eye on its oval head with huge tentacle hands, Arcana Force EX-The Light Ruler (4000/4000), comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Syrus yells out, horrified and shocked, “That's a whole lot of monster there!” Just then the image of the card appears above the monster's head, it rotates around, and it lands on the right side up position.

 

Amara looks at Sartorius, gives a gasp of rare shock and surprise, and she yells out, seriously, “Everyone! Look at Sartorius!” When everyone of our heroes and heroines look at Sartorius, they gasp at the figure that looks like Sartorius, but his skin has turned ghastly white color, his pupil were nearly gone expect for two small dark violet tints with his evil yellow colored eyes, his dark blue hair was standing and spiking on end, and his evil smile not seen by any creature on Earth.

 

Jasmine says, a bit fearfully, “Is that Sartorius?!”

 

Trista says, with a serious expression, “No, it is the Light of Destruction in his body, now, matching that evil force's true evil maliciousness.”

 

Sartorius then calls out, with an evil smile, “Now, Light Ruler, destroy his so-called hero and end this duel! Show Aster the light with Absolute End!” Just then two dragon heads come out of The Light Ruler's armored back and fire a powerful force of sickly white light at Aster forcing everyone to cover their eyes.

 

Aster gives a solemn expression, knowing there is nothing he can do, and Rei yells out to him, worriedly, “Aster!”

 

Aster looks at Rei, gives a weak smile, and says, with his sly tone, “Sorry, Rei, but I guess that you are going to have to kick my behind! I can't keep your promise!” Aster tells Jaden, with a smile, “It's up to you and Serena now, Jay! Don't you dare screw up!” Just then the attack engulfs Aster and his monster in a huge explosion of huge sickly white light and forcing everyone to cover their eyes.

 

Jaden shouts out, horrified, “Aster!” Within the dome of white energy, the Evil Sartorius goes over to Aster and the spirit of the real Sartorius standing besides our Destiny Hero duelist.

 

Evil Sartorius tells Aster, with a deep and evil voice that's not even human at all, “I told you that you couldn't escape destiny, Aster!”

 

The real Sartorius tells Aster, solemnly, “I'm so sorry, Aster. I tried my best to help.”

 

Aster tells the real Sartorius, “Don't worry, dude, you did your best old friend! Later!”

 

The real Sartorius says, solemnly, “Goodbye.” Just then the real Sartorius' spirit vanishes while Destiny Hero-Plasma explodes into nothingness while Aster loses 550 life-points, ending the duel. When the explosion of white light fades away and everyone looks to the dueling field, they see the Evil Sartorius, covered in the white aura of the Light of Destruction, laughing evilly as the crowd gasps in horror as they see Aster, his hair and skin was totally pure white.

 

Our heroes and heroines also gasp in shock and horror, causing Mindy to say, horrified, “Aster, he . . . he is white as a ghost!”

 

Jasmine yells out, horrified, “He lost!”

 

Jaden and Serena gasp out in shock and horror and yell out in horror and in unison, “Aster!”

 

And in one of the rare times in her life, Rei sheds tears of pain and sorrow from her eyes and cries out, in pure pain and horror, “ASTER!!!” Soon after, the Destiny Hero duelist falls to his knees with the key he held falling out of his pocket and to the floor while the evil alien force that possesses Sartorius' body gives an evil laugh that the whole island can hear in triumph over his victory over one of the three Chosen Duelists, bringing him one step closer to world and then universal domination . . .

 

Next time in Chapter 15: The Duel to Defy Destiny: In the immediately aftermath of the duel, the Light of Destruction, revealing himself to everyone now, takes Aster's key to the Misgarth satellite and Aster's unconscious form for his power as a Chosen Duelist. Soon after, he forces Serena and Jaden to duel him at the same time or he will take Aster's life! Having no choice, our Moon Twins step up to the challenge, but the evil alien has another surprise for them! He replicates himself into to make this a tag team match between our Moon Princess and Moon Prince. With the fate of the universe on the light, Serena and Jaden duel against the Light of Destruction and his copy that he created in this deadly tag team match. However, the Light of Destruction's foresight abilities and his Arcana Force cards seem to give his side an edge over our Moon Twins and then, to make things worse, during the duel, the Light of Destruction gets control of the second key to the Misgarth satellite and sends one of his recently brainwashed minions, the Pro Duelist that he beat in the quarter finals, to activate the satellite. Prince Ojin, Linda, and some of their guards try to stop him, but the Light of Destruction put an end to that. The rest of our heroes and heroines try to stop the activation of the satellite, but it was too late! And when the satellite is activated, it can't be stopped! Back to the duel between Serena and Jaden against the two Evil Sartorius/Light of Destructions, the two of them were being pushed into a corner, especially with a field spell that made their monster's abilities totally useless! However, with teamwork and faith, our Moon Princess and Moon Prince manage to turn this duel around. Soon after, Tyranno's dino spirit awakens within him and with a help from Neo-Space, Tyranno, in his `Dino Form', and our Sailor Scouts leave Earth and head into outer space to stop the satellite. On the meanwhile, back on Earth, Serena and Jaden are fighting a more even duel with the two Evil Sartorius/Light of Destructions, but when they manage to summon the same monster that beat Aster and his Destiny Hero Plasma, it looks like the final end for our Moon Twins. However, Serena manages to summon a new Neo-Spacian and Elemental Hero Neos fusion monster to the field, but then The Light Ruler's second special ability, the upside down one, cancels it out! Is this end of our Moon Twins and the universe as we know or can one draw from our Moon Twins' decks save the day? Can the satellite be stopped?! All I know is that you don't want to miss this incredible duel and more as the fate of the universe is decided on the next chapter of Destiny Stars! See you there!

 

Well, this is it! The next chapter of this story is up! Pretty dramatic, huh? I'm sorry that it took so long to get out! My father restricted computer usage for me because of the threat of overheating during the hot summer days. I can only use the computer in the morning until 10 A.M. in the morning and until he gets home from work after 5 PM in the afternoon to prevent overheating. During the weekends, it will be the same thing, through that's still in question. However, my computer usage may be even more limited when I get my summer job to get the money that I need for the final two semesters in school, but I promise that I will get as many chapters out as I possibly can! Plus, I've got new Sailor Moon/Yu-Gi-Oh GX crossovers on the horizon and I'm developing ideas for the sequel to this story! And there has got to be a sequel because from what you saw in this chapter, there is going to be Queen Beryl and the reviving Negaverse to deal with after the Light of Destruction is finished off.
