I'm sorry that it took so long to get the last chapter out, but I hoping to speed it up, however, I've got to get a summer job in order to pay for my upcoming school semester. However, I hope to finish this story before the start of the next school semester the earliest and the beginning of the next school semester at Penn State the latest. With the sequel to this story, I've got some plans, but it will take sometime before I get the first chapter of any sequel out. Before then, I will focus on finishing this story. Now, I would like to give thanks and credit to Princess Lena aka Lady Kittuna for the idea for the plot of the last chapter and Bastion's past life in the Silver Millennium as well as dedicate the Bastion/Ami part in this chapter to this fanfiction author. Chapter 13: The Dark Side of Mars

 

(Sometime after the duel between Bastion and Ami; Inside of the Slifer Red dorm)

 

After the duel between the Negaverse-brainwashed Bastion and Ami ended, we find all of our heroes and heroines assembled together inside of Chazz's redesigned dorm room and they are surrounding Ami, Bastion, Jaden, and Serena, who are sitting together on the couch in Chazz's living room of his redesigned dorm room. In the aftermath of the duel between Bastion and Ami, Serena and Jaden reveal the memories that they just gained from what happened when Ami used her powers as Sailor Mercury to heal Bastion of the `damage' that the brainwashing and the duel caused him, through they keep the `bond' between Ami and Bastion.

 

After they were finished, they, especially Bastion, were amazed at what they heard and Darien asks Serena, “Are you sure about this Serena?”

 

Serena nods her head and says, “That's right. Bastion was part of my brother's court during our days in the Moon Kingdom. Bastion was the son of a high-ranked nobleman lord that was very good friends with the Moon Kingdom royal family and well-respected by the people nearly as much as the Moon Kingdom royal family themselves.”

 

Jaden nods his head in agreement with his sister and says, “Yeah. Bastion, as Lord Daichi, was the way that he is right now. He was the intelligential and proper type and figured out his life, including combat and gaming skills, by using science and math.”

 

Syrus says, looking at Bastion, “Sounds like Bastion all right.”

 

Tyranno tells Syrus, nodding his head, “Ten-four on that private.”

 

Jaden says, with a sly smile, “Back in those days, Bastion made plenty of the people of Mercury, many of whom were intelligential, as you would call them, quite jealous since they prided their intelligent and scientific abilities. However, the Mercury royal family had only one child, namely Ami, so, my mother thought that it would be best for my court to have someone of intelligent in my group.”

 

Chazz tells Jaden, with a sly smile, “With you, slacker, I'm not surprised.”

 

Rei yells at Chazz, with a serious tone, “Hey, did anyone ask you, Princeton?!”

 

Serena then says, clearing her throat to get everyone's attention, “Anyway, Lord Daichi focused on his duties and intelligential pursuits, which usually meant that he didn't have time for balls or parties, expect when he makes sure that he is protecting my brother.”

Mina asks, curiously, “Did he have a girlfriend back then?”

 

Lita exclaims, scolding tone in her voice, “Mina!”

 

Mina asks Lita, “What?! I just wanted to know!”

 

Serena and Jaden look at each other, then at Ami and Bastion, who were giving slight blushes, and Blair asks Jaden, “Come on, Jaden-sempai! Tell us! Did Bastion have any girlfriends back then? Was it Ami?”

 

Alexis tells Blair, in a slight scolding tone, “Blair, you shouldn't ask questions like that. It's not nice to pry into someone's personal life. Even if it was around five millennia in the past.”

 

Mina tells Alexis, with a sly smile, “Oh, come on, Alexis. Blair and I are just curious, that's all!”

 

Rei tells Mina, “Well, remember what curious did to the cat, Mina.”

 

Luna says, with a groan, “Atriums and I have always hated that saying. We, cats, are a lot more mature and intelligent than that.”

 

Rei says, with a slight sweatdrop, “Oops. Sorry, Luna.”

 

Lita asks Jaden and Serena, “Well, did Bastion have a girlfriend back in the Silver Millennium?”

 

Rei yells at Lita, annoyed, “Not you, too, Lita!”

 

Lita replies, nervously, “What?! I was just asking, that's all!”

 

Jaden replies, a bit nervously, “We aren't sure, but my sis and I always tried to bring Ami and Bastion together back in those times.”

 

Mina yells out, a bit indignantly, “Hey! That's my job! I'm supposed to the Sailor Soldier of Love!”

 

Mindy tells Mina, with a smile, “Not anymore, Mina! Remember, I'm the Sailor Scout of Love for my kingdom!” Mindy then asks Jaden and Serena, with a sly smile, “So, did Bastion and Ami ever get together, Jaden?”

 

Jasmine yells at Mindy, annoyed and scolding tone, “Cut it out, Mindy! I swear you are just as bad as Mina! In fact, you and Mina are like twin sisters or something!”

 

Mindy and Mina ask in unison, “You really think so?!”

 

Rei and Jasmine sweatdrop at this and Rei says, with a major sigh, “Oh, brother.”

 

Jasmine tells Rei, “Took the words right out of my mouth, Rei.”

 

Atriums asks Serena and Jaden, “Do either of you know anything else about the Silver Millennium?”

 

Serena shakes her head and replies, “Not really. That's all of the memories that we got.”

 

Mina then says, with a smile, “Well, I might have a few to share!”

 

Everyone looks at Mina in shock and Atriums asks Mina, amazed, “Wait a minute! Mina, you remember something from the Silver Millennium?!”

 

Mina nods her head and replies, excitedly, “Yep! My boyfriend!”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Lita exclaims, stunned, “No way! Mina, you had a boyfriend during the Silver Millennium?!”

 

Mina nods her head and states, seriously, “Yep! I sure did!”

 

Serena asks Mina, curiously, “Who was it?!”

 

Mina replies, pointing to Atticus, “Why, Prince Apollo, of course?!”

 

Everyone, minus Atticus, gasp in shock and they exclaim in unison, “Atticus?!”

 

Atticus replies, scratching his head nervously, “Yep! Believe it or not, I was Mina's girlfriend when I was Prince Apollo during the Silver Millennium!”

 

Rini asks, amazed, “Wow, that's amazing! When and how did you remember?!” Mina and Atticus sweatdrop and become really nervous at this.

 

Mina tells Rini, nervously, “Um . . . Maybe it is for the better to explain it to you when you are older, Rini.”

 

Rini asks, perplexed, “What's that supposed to mean Mina? Did you do something `naughty' or something?”

 

Mina yells out, a bit indignantly, “No way! Where did you get that idea?”

 

Serena tells Rini, seriously, “You had better not read any magazines that you are not supposed to Rini.”

 

Rini tells Serena, in defensive tone, “No way, Serena! I would never read any of those dirty magazines! However, older girls seem to be that way with words like `cute' and `sexy' that they talk about all the time.”

 

Mindy yells at Rini, a bit insulted, “Hey, Rini, we aren't like that all the time!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, with a sly grin, “No, just you and Mina being boy-crazy.”

 

Mindy yells at Jasmine, insulted, “Hey! Whose side are you on, Jasmine?!”

 

Darien clears his throat and says, plainly, “Maybe we should focus on what Mina and Atticus remember about their past lives and not on how they remembered it.”

 

Luna tells Darien, with a slight sweatdrop, “Good idea.”

 

Chazz says, in his usual manner, “Finally. I would have gone nuts with all of this `girl talk'.”

 

Rei asks Chazz, a bit annoyed, “What's that supposed to mean, Princeton?!”

 

Ignoring this, Trista asks Mina and Atticus, “Anyway, what do you two remember back in the Silver Millennium?” Soon enough, Mina and Atticus explain about what they remember from the Silver Millennium and leave out how and where they remembered it.

 

When they were done, Alexis says, nodding her head, “That sounds about right. Atticus was my elder twin brother back in the Silver Millennium, but since I was much a better warrior and leader than he was, he gave up the rights to the throne to me. My memory isn't that good, but I do remember him having a girlfriend among one of the Inner Sailor Scouts that protected Serena, but I had forgotten who. Well, now we know who are my brother's girlfriend was.”

 

Mindy asks Atticus, a bit nervously, “But does this mean that you and Mina?”

 

Mina exclaims, excitedly, “Yep! Atticus and I decided to start our relationship over! He's taking me out on a date tomorrow!”

 

Mindy yells out, in defeat, “Oh, man! Mina got Atticus!”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, in reassuring tone, “Don't worry, Mindy, there are still plenty of cute guys out there. You just need to find the right one for you.”

 

Mindy replies, cheerful, “Yeah, you're right!”

 

Syrus says, plainly, “That was fast.” Hotaru nods her head in agreement with Syrus as Jasmine, Rei, Lita, and Alexis along with Atriums, Sol, and Hyperion sweatdrop at this.

 

Darien asks Bastion, in a curious tone, “Bastion, I know that this might be hard, but do you remember anything during your time inside of Beryl's headquarters?”

Bastion shakes his head and replies, “I'm sorry, Darien, but I don't. The last thing before waking up in Ami's arms was facing Zane in front of the abandoned dorm before being knocked out by someone, which would be most likely, Jadeite.”

 

Rei says, with a snort, “No surprise there. That viper would love to stab someone in the back.”

 

Bastion says, with a sigh, “How could I have let myself get trapped and brainwashed like that?”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, “Don't worry about it, Bastion. Queen Beryl is a lot like that alien freak, the Light of Destruction, he doesn't care who he hurts, including his host body, and neither does she. All she cares about is taking over the universe like that overgrown space freak.”

 

Jasmine says, seriously, “Speaking of whom, we haven't heard anything from that SOB for quite sometime. His Society of Trash has lost huge numbers, thanks to all of us, and is growing weaker by the day.”

 

Amara says, in a suspicious tone, “I agree with what Jasmine is implying. The Light of Destruction wouldn't just roll over and let us win.”

 

Michelle asks Amara, in a curious tone, “Do you think that he is planning something?”

 

Amara states, with a plain and serious tone, “I know it. We have to be on guard along on the lookout for Zane.”

 

Syrus sighs in solemn sadness, hearing his brother's name, and Hotaru tells Syrus, reassuring tone, “Don't worry, Syrus-chan. I'm sure that we will find a way to save your brother, too. There has to be some good left inside of him. We just need to find it.”

 

Syrus tells Hotaru, with a weak smile, “Thank you, Hotaru.”

 

Hotaru replies, with her kind smile, “You're welcome.” Syrus blushes from Hotaru's smile with Mina, Lita, Amara, Michelle, Jaden, Tyranno, and Alexis noticing this.

 

Jasmine asks, curiously, “So, what do we do now?”

 

Danielle says, in a logical tone, “All we can do is continue on with the tournament and defeat the Society of Light while keeping a lookout for Zane and Beryl.”

 

Hyperion says, nodding his head in agreement, “I agree. It is all we can do for now. However, if anything mysterious happens or comes up, we should contact each other through the PDA communicators or the sailor communicators that we have with us.”

 

Danielle says, with a logical tone, “Ami and I will work on special signals to make sure that our PDA transmissions aren't intercepted.”

 

Ami tells Danielle, “Good idea, Danielle. Our sailor communicators might be secure, but the PDA that we carry aren't and we need to make sure our conversations are safe from the Society of Light and Queen Beryl.” Soon after, our heroes and heroines get up from their seats and prepare to head out. Ami then asks Bastion, “Bastion, are you going to be okay?”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a smile, “Just fine. Thank you for asking.”

 

Ami replies, with her own smile, “You're welcome.”

 

(Inside of the `White Dorm'; that evening)

 

In the evening hours of Duel Academy, we find none other than Sartorius, still possessed by the Light of Destruction, going through the Tarot card deck that he has to look into the future. After he shuffles his Tarot card deck in the usual fashion, he puts three cards in row, one card above the three cards, and one card below the three cards. Upturning the center card, he finds that center of the three cards is The Moon Tarot card, which represents our Moon Princess.

 

Sartorius says, with interest, “I see. The Moon, the card that represents Sailor Moon herself. Like her brother, Jaden Yuki, she possess the ability to alter destiny. It is quite interesting for someone who has been bound by destiny to have the ability to alter it. She is the light and purity within the darkness of the night. The next card shall be the possible key to getting her into the light.” Sartorius upturns the card on the left of The Moon Tarot card and he finds that it is The High Priestess Tarot card and Sartorius says, “Yes, the High Priestess, someone with great spiritual powers and is intone with the spiritual, super-natural, and natural world. As I thought before, that person is Rei Hino, the Sailor Scout of Fire, Sailor Mars, and one of Sailor Moon's closest friends, I do remember. The strength that friendship with her might her downfall into the light.” Sartorius then upturns the right card from The Moon Tarot card and become disturbed when he finds that it is The Devil Tarot card. Sartorius says, with great interesting, curiosity, and a rare hint of worry, “However, the cards tell me that she might be the key to getting Sailor Moon, they warn me of great danger that lies within Ms. Hino. It seems like a great evil that she doesn't know about is hidden within her, possibly by her family bloodline. However, my opinions are limited at best. The Society of Light is falling to the nonbelievers and I'm losing followers with every passing day. I need to get those keys and help the word see the light soon or I will fail. However, I know that I shall succeed and the Chosen Duelists, Aster, Jaden, and Serena, shall see the light along with the whole world! No one can stop destiny, not even them!” Sartorius glows with a white sickly glow as the power of the Light of Destruction surrounds his body.

 

(The following morning; Somewhere on Academy Island)

 

Today, on Academy, we find Bastion sitting across the lake from the Society of Light's `White Dorm' and relaxing on the ground as he looks into the sky. He takes a deep sigh and wondering about what he had just learned.

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, “Remarkable! So, I'm a member of Jaden's `court' during the Silver Millennium and I'm Lunarian nobility! And it is possible that Ami and I . . . had a relationship during that time.” Bastion then sighs and thinks in his mind, “Well, some guardian that I turned out to be. I allowed my jealously of Jaden's and Serena's abilities as duelists get to me and allow that witch Beryl to brainwash me! It was thanks to Ami that I became free from her control vicious grasp and my life saved.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Are you okay, Bastion-sempai?” Bastion's heart skips a beat, knowing who that voice belonged to. He quickly sits up and turns around to see Ami, in her female Ra Yellow uniform, walking towards him. Ami tells Bastion, with a sight blush in her cheek, “I'm sorry. Am I . . .?”

 

Bastion gets a bit of a blush in his cheeks and he tells Ami, nervously, “No! No! You aren't interrupting anything Ami! I would be honored if you would stay.”

 

Ami replies, shyly, “Thank you.” Ami then comes over and sits by Bastion causing him to blush even more than before.

 

Bastion tells Ami, nervously, “Is there anything wrong, Ami?”

 

Ami tells Bastion, also nervously, “No, I was just . . . worried about you, that's all.”

 

Bastion asks Ami, curiously, “You were worried about me?”

 

Ami replies, with a smile, “Of course. Are you okay?”

 

Bastion sighs and says, solemnly, “Physically, I'm okay, Ami. Otherwise . . . I'm not so sure.”

 

Ami asks Bastion, curiously, “Still regretting about what happened with Beryl?” Bastion sighs and gets a solemn look causing Ami to say, worriedly, “Bastion, I'm sorry . . .”

 

Bastion tells Ami, reassuringly, “No, it's all right. I'm . . . just still horrified that I allowed my jealously of Jaden and Serena to allow Beryl . . . to do what I did . . .”

 

Ami tells Bastion, reassuringly, “Bastion, it isn't your fault. That's how Beryl works. In many ways, she is like the Light of Destruction. Remember, she brainwashed Darien the same way and Serena fought with her heart and soul to save him. Don't worry, we know that you would never harm Jaden or any of us.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a smile, “Thank you, Ami.”

 

Ami tells Bastion, “You're welcome, Bastion-sempai.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, curiously, “Ami, do you think about what Serena and Jaden told us?”

 

Ami blushes and asks Bastion, “What do you mean Bastion?”

 

Bastion replies, nervously, “You know . . . about how I was one of Jaden's guardians during the Silver Millennium . . . and about how you and I . . .”

 

Ami says, nervously, “Oh, right. After that I do remember a few images . . . I saw myself with Princess Serenity, in some kind of `princess gown' similar to hers, inside of the palace, during one of the balls in the Moon Kingdom, being lead down the ball room to where someone looking like in a knight's uniform by Prince Judai, Jaden's `royal form', which I believe it's you, and they `forced' to the two of us together for a dance.”

 

Bastion says, with a smile, “Mina would be jealous since she feels that she is supposed to be the `ultimate match-maker' since she is the Sailor Scout of Venus.”

 

Ami says, with a smile, “Yeah, that's Mina for you.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, nervously, “Ami?”

 

Ami asks Bastion, “Yes, Bastion?”

 

Bastion asks Ami, nervously, “I didn't make Mina tell me this, but she told me what happened after the duel ended and I fainted . . .”

 

Ami blushes widely and she asks, nervously, “She told you that I . . .”

 

Bastion tells Ami, nervously, “I'm sorry, Ami. I didn't mean to embarrass you like that.”

 

Ami tells Bastion, “No! No! It's all right. You are one of Jaden's best friends and Jaden is my princess' sister . . . and . . . I . . . I . . . really care about you.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, amazed, “You care about me?”

 

Ami tells Bastion, blushing widely, “Yes . . . It's nothing because of that who we were in our past lives . . . ever since I came here to Duel Academy as a transfer student . . . You've really . . . `interested' me . . . you and I are so much alike . . . we like to use strategies and logic in much of the things that we do . . . including dueling . . . we focus on improving our knowledge and intelligence . . .”

 

Bastion then says, with a smile, “And we each have a best friend that doesn't make good grades, have an attempt that can feed an army, both love dueling for the fun and excitement as well as improving their skills, and are the kindest and purist people that we know.”

 

Ami smiles and says, “Yes, that's true. Through Serena is doing a lot better here than in regular school, through that it is still surprising with Duel Academy is a lot like regular school, but Serena has proven that she can do good when she puts her mind to it and plus, she loves Duel Monsters as much as Jaden and studied everything about it.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, nervously, “So, Ami . . . do you . . . want to go to card shop with me?”

 

Ami asks Bastion, curiously and still blushing, “Are you asking me out for a date, Bastion-sempai?”

 

Bastion replies, quite nervous, “Sure . . . Let's call it that. And Ami?”

 

Ami replies, “Yes?”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a smile on his lips, “Call me `Bastion' from now on, not `Bastion-sempai', okay?”

 

Ami nods her head and replies, with smile, “Yes, Bastion.” Bastion stands up, extends his hand towards, Ami takes Bastion's hand, Bastion helps Ami to their feet, and Ami and Bastion head off to the main building of Duel Academy to get go to the card shop on their first date with wide smiles on their lips. What they didn't know is that a familiar Moon Princess and Moon Prince were watching the whole thing unfold from a hiding place in the bushes.

 

Serena tells Jaden, with a wide smile, “Well, it is about time that they admitted their feeling for each other. Personally, Mina noticed those two acting strangely whenever they were together.”

 

Jaden tells Serena, with his usual grin, “Well, sis, you know that Mina is the Sailor Senshi of Love and Mindy, too, for the Sun Kingdom. She suspected the same thing.”

 

Serena nods her head and says, with a smile, “We should tell Mina, Mindy, Alexis, and Darien the good news.”

 

Jaden tells Serena, with a smile, “Actually, that might not be possible with Mina, sis.”

 

Serena asks Jaden, “Why is that?”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, loud enough for our Moon twins to hear, but not our new couple, “That's because my bro is on a date with Mina by the beach.” Serena and Jaden turn to the source of the voice to see Alexis, Darien, Luna, and Atriums walking towards them.

 

Serena says, with a smile, “Darien-chan! Alexis! What are you doing here?”

 

Alexis says, with a smile, “Following you, two! We figured that the both of you would do something like this since Darien and I regain a few more memories of the Silver Millennium as well and we know what you, two, did to bring Ami and Bastion together in the Silver Millennium.”

 

Serena says, with a nervous smile, “Come on, you don't think that we would do anything rash do you?”

 

Luna tells Serena, with a sly smile, “Well, who was pressuring Ami to go on a date with Bastion along with Mina and Atticus Rhodes?”

 

Serena giggles nervously and replies, “Oh, come on! I think that Bastion is a good boyfriend for Ami. They are so much alike in every way and those two belong together.”

 

Darien tells Serena, with a smile, “I know that you meant well, Sere', but they need to come together themselves. Like you and I did.”

 

Serena goes over to Darien, he takes her into his arms, and she says, with a loving smile, “I know, Darien. But Jaden and I talked about Ami and Bastion and I think that they need to experience something in their lives other than logic, books, and fighting evil.”

 

Alexis goes to Jaden and tells them, “We know that Serena, but it will be easier on both of them if we allow them to admit their feelings and come together on their own without any pressure from us.”

 

Jaden says, with a smile, “Yeah, I guess that you are right, `Lex.” Jaden kisses Alexis on the lips and all four of them look directly at the `White Dorm' with serious looks on their faces.

 

Alexis says, with a serious tone, “I'm so glad that we are getting closer to defeat this asshole and send him back to whatever black hole he came from.”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone, “They are down to just under one-eighth of their original membership and getting weaker with every single duel that we win.”

 

Atriums says, with a serious tone, “We have to be very careful, through. The Light of Destruction is the most evil force even known, so, we can't count it and the Society of Light out yet.”

 

Alexis says, with a serious and determined tone in her voice, “Well, I'm not going to let it do to anyone else what it did to me. I keep seeing those horrible images in my mind.”

 

Luna tells Alexis, “Alexis, you can't blame yourself for what you did under the Light of Destruction's control. It is been around since the dawn of time and it has been influencing people for millennia.”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a smile, “Don't worry, Alexis. I won't let that space freak hurt you or anyone else ever again. Once we free Sartorius and seal away that space freak, this nightmare will be over, but until then, I will keep on dueling no matter what for you and for everyone else.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a smile, “I know that you will Jaden, but I'm not leaving your side.” The two of them engage in another passionate kiss, not caring if Serena, Darien, Luna, and Atriums are watching them, but Serena and Darien look on this with loving smiles on their face and have their own passionate kiss as well.

 

(A short time later; at the beach)

 

On the beach, we find Mina, wearing a bright yellow bikini, revealing much her slender and sexy body, and Atticus, wearing a pair of swimming trucks only, exposing his well-developed muscular chest, arms, and legs, are setting up their beach towels and beach umbrella for some fun in the sun. They brought along their duel disks and their dueling deck just in case of some trouble with other duelists since the GX tournament is still going on. This is Atticus' and Mina's first date as a couple and both of them decided to go to the beach for one reason or another, if you get what I mean.

 

Atticus looks at his new girlfriend with a slight blush on his cheeks and thinks, “Oh, wow! Mina might be two years younger than me, but she is so beautiful and can rival any girl in the Obelisk Blue dorm! Plus, she is just so perky and happy, never lets anyone or anything get her down, very confident, and a lot like me, including trying to get couples set up between our friends, including Ami and Bastion, which is something that I tried to do with my sister with Chazz and Jaden. Personally, ever since becoming free of Nightshroud, I saw that my sister had a thing for Jaden and I could see why. My sister loves dueling as much as he does and Jaden is one incredible duelist. When Chazz came to me about Alexis, I felt that he could be a good choice, but choosing between Jaden and Chazz, I feel that Jaden is a much better choice. He is pure, kind, caring, selfish, and never gives up in his duel or on his friends, even Chazz. He and Serena gave it his all during that duel to free sis and Chazz from that alien freak of nature, but boy, I was surprised to find out that my sister and Jaden were lovers back in the Silver Millennium when Jaden and Serena were brother and sister on this Moon Kingdom on our Earth's moon. However, they came together on their own and they loved each other more than because of their past lives.” Atticus gives a loving smile and thinks, “And that's the same for Mina and me. When I learned about Serena and her friends begin the famous Sailor Moon and Sailor Scouts, I was shocked and could barely believe it, but comparing pictures of the Sailor Scouts to them in their `civilian forms', I keep wondering why people don't put this connection together. However, they use some kind of sailor magic to make themselves seem `different' as Sailor Scouts than when they are as regular teenage girls and women. But when I saw Mina more and more, she was a lot like me. Always impressing the opposite gender to our own, always trying to bring our friends together with each other, boy with girl, and always make ourselves to be `romance experts' as well as so much more. A wonderful personality and a beautiful body. Mina is so perfect in my mind.”

 

Mina looks at Atticus and she asks him, curiously, “What are you looking at Atticus-sempai?”

 

Atticus blushes and replies, embarrassed, “Oh, nothing.”

 

Mina gives a sly smile on her lips and replies, in a seductive tone, “Oh, really?” Mina goes over to her new boyfriend and tells him, with a sly and seductive tone, “Did you like what you were looking at?” Atticus' blush becomes cheery red as he looks to see his new girlfriend's sexy and seductive body.

 

Atticus asks Mina, with a smile, “Are you always like this?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a sly smile on her lips, “With a hunky boyfriend such as you, what do you think?”

 

Atticus asks, with a sly smile on her lips, “What am I going to do with you?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a sly smile and seductive tone, “How about kissing me on the lips?”

 

Atticus replies, with a seductive tone and sly and loving tone, “If that what my goddess wants . . .” Mina giggles before she and Atticus share a passionate kiss together and they wrap each other's arms behind their backs. However, what they didn't know are some Obelisk Blue girls, wearing swimsuits of various colors, were watching them from another part of the beach and plenty of them were jealous.

 

One of the Obelisk Blue girls yells out, with a snort, “I can't believe that Atticus chose her over one of us. I mean that girl isn't even an Obelisk Blue!”

 

Another Obelisk Blue girl calls out, in a serious tone, “That's because she is Sailor Venus, that's why. Venus is the Roman Goddess of Love and did you see her Sailor Scout uniform? You know boys when girls show them a bit of leg, if you get what I mean.”

 

A third Obelisk Blue girl yells out, seriously with some jealousy in her voice, “Those costumes aren't for show you know? Those girls have got some powers and I've got to admit, they have got some talent. I mean I was one of those girls that brainwashing jackass turn into his mindless puppets. The only reason that girl has caught a cutie like Atticus' eyes because she is a famous super-hero that saves us all. If she wasn't a Sailor Scout, even with her good dueling skills, Atticus wouldn't give her the time of day.”

 

On the meanwhile, Mina and Atticus overhear this and when they release from the kiss, Atticus tells Mina, with a smile, “Don't pay those girls a mind, Mina.”

 

Mina asks Atticus, curiously, “Well, I need to know. Do you care about me just because I'm a Sailor Scout or our past lives?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a loving smile, “Well, those two do help, but I love you because you and I have so much in common. Plus, you are so kind, gentle, and confident and strong, not to mention a beautiful face and body that would make your Venusian goddess jealous.”

 

Mina gives a wide blush and says, with a smile, “Ooh, Atticus-sempai, you are making me blush.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a loving smile, “You deserve such praise, Mina. And from now on, call me `Atticus' or `Atti', okay?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, excitedly, “Okay, `Atti', I will!” Mina and Atticus then share another passionate kiss as they wrap their arms around each other and massage each other's back causing the Obelisk Blue girls to become more jealous. Soon after, Mina opens her eyes to look at them and gives them a mischievous wink causing them to become red with jealousy.

 

Atticus gives a mental sly smirk and think in her mind, “Oh, man, what a girl! I think that my life is going to become more interesting than ever with Mina-chan around as my girlfriend.”

 

When they release from their kiss, Mina tells Atticus, with a seductive and low tone, “I can't wait for the night that we can have a little `fun', Atti.” Atticus gives a slight blush and he fights hard to keep his erection from growing under his swimming trunks from what he knows what Mina is thinking with `fun' idea. Mina tells Atticus, with a sly tone, “Come on, Atticus, we aren't going to have fun standing around!” Mina then runs off into the water and jumps into a deeper portion of the water with a large splash. Mina then comes out of the water, her nipples already starting to harden from the water, and she yells out, excitedly, “Come on, Atticus, the water is awesome!”

 

Atticus gives a wide smile and tells her, “Don't stop without me!” Atticus then rushes into the water and then splashes Mina with some of the water. Mina gives a playful yelp and she gives a sly smile at Atticus causing Mina start to splash water on him, too. Soon enough, the two of them were playfully splashing water with each other for several minutes and then Atticus rushes Mina, Mina tries to run away, but Atticus wraps her arms around her slender and sexy waistline causing Mina to playfully giggle while Atticus starts to kiss her neck, collarbone, and parts of her shoulders causing her to moan slightly.

 

Mina says, with a loving tone, “Oh, Atti . . .” Mina then giggles, but then she uses her Sailor Senshi super-strength to gently break from Atticus' grip and she tackles Atticus to the sandy ground just slightly under the water. Soon enough, Mina is on top of Atticus in the water with their hair and bodies wet with Mina's bikini tightly fitting on her body, her nipples showing under her bikini, and causing Atticus to blush. Mina tells Atticus, with a sly and seductive smile and tone, “See something you like, Atticus?”

 

Atticus replies, with a smile, “Don't I ever!”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a giggle, “Oh, Atti . . .” Mina and Atticus then look at each other in the eyes and sees the true love for each other in them. After a few minutes, Mina tells Atticus, “Atticus, I love you.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a smile, “I love you, too, Mina.” Atticus wraps his arms around sexy and slender waist and back and the two of them share a passionate kiss, not caring who was watching them.

 

(Elsewhere on Academy Island; A short time later)

 

Within another area of Duel Academy, an area overlooking the `White Dorm', we find none other than our Destiny Hero duelists, Aster Phoenix, looking towards the `White Dorm' with a serious look in his eye. Just then images of Aster's childhood come back to him, time with his dad, when he met Sartorius and his sister, Mizuchi also known as Sarina for some reason, the time that they spent together, when Sartorius became Aster's dueling manager, the time that he dueled Jaden Yuki for the first time and how he threw that match, the time that he dueled Zane and beat him, the second time that he and Jaden dueled where Aster revealed his Destiny Hero cards, how he beat Jaden, how he and Jaden dueled for a third time and with the power of the Neo-Spacians, Jaden beat him in a incredible victory, and soon after, learning the truth about the Society of Light and how he was used by Sartorius to try to get Jaden after the `White Dorm' was created with Jaden's friends, Chazz Princeton and Alexis Rhodes, becoming brainwashed. Then the images of the school trip, the duel with Mizuchi, learning about what happened to Sartorius from her, the Sailor Scouts and Tuxedo Mask arrival at Duel Academy, learning about Serena being a third Chosen Duelist, and all of the other duels and battles that they have fought to defeat Sartorius and the Society of Light. Finally, learning about the evil force that possesses Sartorius, the Light of Destruction, the plans for the Misgarth satellite, and the truth about what happened to his father during his duel with the Light of Destruction possessed D on his luxury ship.

 

Soon after, Aster looks at his newly acquired Destiny Hero-Plasma (1900/600) monster card, purified of the evil of the Light of Destruction, and he thinks, seriously, “It's hard to believe that this one little card caused so much trouble. The Light of Destruction inhabiting this card, forcing my dad to develop it, possessing The D when he tried to steal, The D lying to me for all this time, Sartorius, Mizuchi, and I meet and becoming good friends, The D giving Sartorius this card, making him become possessed by `The Light', turning him into a cold and heartless monster, having that monster trick me to try to get Jaden brainwashed, which thankfully he failed, and all of this Society of Light nonsense, which got the famous Sailor Scouts from the city of Tokyo involved. It's hard to believe that Jaden is a prince of all people, but then again, he is a reincarnated alien prince, so, that isn't much of surprise since he has been so `spacey' since I started to know him. He and I aren't friends, not exactly, but I know that Jaden and that Moon Princess and super-hero sister of his might be my best chance of helping me get Sartorius back to himself and getting rid of that space freak that possessed him! And I know with this card, I can stop his deck. With D-Force and Destiny Hero-Plasma, I know that I can end this! This is the card that started this insanity and it will end this insanity, once and for all!” Just then Aster hears footsteps behind him and he quickly whips to the source of the footsteps to see Rei Hino, in her female Ra Yellow uniform, walking up towards him.

 

Rei asks him, in his usual tone, “What's up with you?”

 

Aster asks Rei, curiously, “What are you doing here?”

 

Rei tells Aster, in her usual manner, “I'm a student, here, you know.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile, “So am I, in case you forgot.”

 

Rei rolls her eyes and replies, with an annoyed sigh, “Fine.”

 

Aster asks Rei, curiously, “So, what's up?”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a plain tone, “There doesn't seem to be much to do. With Jaden, Alexis, Serena, and all of us kicking white geek butt, there doesn't seem to be many to duel anymore and plus, the number of pros around seemed to have been depleted by quite a bit.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile, “Guess you can blame me for that a bit.”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a sly grin, “Why I am not surprised? Anyway, why are you here?”

 

Aster says, with a serious tone, “Keeping an eye for that space freak in Sartorius' body.”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a concerned tone, “Aster, I know how you feel. Sartorius is your best friend and you want to save him. If Serena was in some kind of similar situation, I would want to rush to her aid too.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a curiously look in his eyes, “Your leader means that much to you, huh?”

 

Rei nods her head and says, “A lot. Before Serena, I didn't have any friends. After my mother died, my fucking father abandoned me at my grandfather's temple and didn't even bother to come visit at least once in a way. When there, I decided to become a Shinto priestess and follow in my grandfather's footsteps after he died. Grandpa did his best to raise me and he is the only father figure that I ever known.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “You are pretty lucky, Rei. The only father figure that I knew lied to me for ten years and was part of a scheme to take over the universe. And personally, that father of yours is the same way in my book. An asshole like him doesn't deserve someone like you. You are a hero since you make sure those villains just as bad or even worse than the crooks on the streets from taking over or destroying our world. In my mind, you should forget about him and hope that he never comes back to haunt you, again.”

 

Rei says, with her usual tone, “That's what I was kept thinking about a lot, but he always does something to give me a headache. Namely, sending me to a private junior high school, a Christian all-girls school, where the girl praise for my `talents', but they always talk behind my back calling me some kind of nasty word or phase. Personally, I was alone in the world until Serena and Ami came along. They were investigating the buses that come near our temple with young girls that were vanishing. I was pretty pissed off when people connected the temple to the disappearance and soon enough, I learned that a new `assistant' at the temple, Jed, was behind this. But Jed was actually Jadeite of the Negaverse and he threw me into the dimension where he was keeping all of the girls that he kidnapped. Serena was inside of the dimension and the youma that she was about to fight captured me, but Meatball Head managed to save me, which still pretty much surprises me. Soon after, I discovered I was Sailor Mars, transformed for the first time, and we kicked that slime ball into ashes. After that, the rest was history. Serena, Ami, and I became good friends, we went on in our battles and adventures as Sailor Scouts, and we found more allies, Lita, Mina, Amara, Michelle, Trista, and Hotaru. Serena and I do argue a lot since she does plenty of annoying things, overeating, being late a lot, or just plain flaking out, but she is the best friend, I could have.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a smile, “Yes, I can see. You and Serena are a lot like sisters and Sartorius and I became a lot like brothers . . . well, until all of this.”

 

Rei asks Aster, curiously, “You are going to face him in a duel, aren't you?”

 

Aster says, in a serious tone, “I've got to. Even if we free all of the students that he brainwashed, this isn't over until the Light of Destruction is gone for good. If I'm one of these `Chosen Duelists' that can stop him, then I've got to face him. I made him a promise and I won't go back on my word.”

 

Rei sighs and she tells Aster, “All right, just be careful.”

 

Aster tells Rei, in a serious tone, “I will. And just make sure that you are careful, too.”

 

Rei tells Aster, nodding her head, “Thanks.” Rei then walks off while Aster watches Rei walk off and then Aster turns back to the `White Dorm' to keep an eye for any activity from the `White Dorm'.

 

(Inside of the `White Dorm'; A short time soon after)

 

On the meanwhile, inside of the `White Dorm', we find ourselves in Sartorius' private quarters as the Light of Destruction possessed diviner looks over his Tarot card deck and after he shuffles his Tarot deck, he draws three cards from it, setting them down in a row. When he upturns the middle card, he finds that it is The High Priestess Tarot card.

 

Sartorius says, in his usual tone, “Ah, the cards speak to me, once again. They tell me that The High Priestess, Rei Hino, will play in an important role in the future. But what role will that be?” Sartorius upturns the card left to The High Priestess Tarot card and it finds it to be The Devil Tarot card and Sartorius says, in a serious manner, “Very interesting. The cards warn me about Rei Hino falling into evil because of something kind of great evil inside of her.” Sartorius then turns the card to the right of The High Priestess Tarot card and his eyes widen to see The Hierophant/Prince Tarot card. Sartorius says, with great interest, “Very interesting. It is said that her salvation lies with Aster and that she also shares a `bond' with him. If I'm going to acquire him and the other two Chosen Duelists, Serena and Jaden, I'm going to need Ms. Hino. However this warning of a great evil inside of her is troubling, but I believe that nothing is impossible to control with the power of the Light.” Sartorius gives off a white sickly glow from his body and laughs evilly about his plans. However, what he doesn't know is that someone is watching him from a crack in his door. When we go outside of his door, we find it to be the mysterious teenage woman with jet black hair like Darien's in color and that flows down her back like Rei's hairstyle, deep brown eyes like Darien, and wearing a female white uniform of the Society of Light, expect her uniform has trims of black on the mini-skirt.

 

The mysterious girl thinks in her mind, “That's not good. I need to warn the Sailor Scouts and my reincarnated brother! Fast!” The mysterious girl then slowly and surely walks away from the door leading into Sartorius' room quickly running off when she is some distance away. However, what she doesn't know is that Sartorius moved his head backwards and notices the crack in his door, gaining an evil wide smile on his lips.

 

(Elsewhere within the `White Dorm'; a brief time later)

 

Inside of the dorm room of this mysterious SOL member, we find her inside of her room and using her PDA to try to get a message to the Sailor Scouts and/or Jaden and his friends. However, something was stopping the signal from getting through and this is making this girl very nervous.

 

This mysterious SOL member thinks in her mind, “What's going on here? Why isn't the signal getting through? Are they blocking the signal? Did the Light of Destruction find me out already?” Just then a knock from the door snaps her out of her thoughts and the mysterious SOL member calls out, in a plain tone, “Yes? Come in!” The door opens to reveal another young female SOL member with fiery red hair that goes to three inches past her shoulders, light blue eyes, and wearing a typical female SOL uniform. This mysterious SOL member tells her fellow SOL member, “What is it, Elsa?”

 

Elsa tells this mysterious SOL member, in a cold and serious tone, “Master Sartorius wishes to speak with you, Alinna.”

 

This mysterious SOL member, known as Alinna, nods her head and replies, in a plain tone, “Of course. Thank you.” Elsa nods her head and Elsa walks away, leaving Alinna's room. Alinna thinks in her mind, seriously, “I do not like the looks of this.”

 

(A short time later; back inside of Sartorius' private quarters)

 

Inside of Sartorius' quarters, we find him sitting in front of his marble table with his Tarot card deck when he hears a knock on the door, which causes him to grin evilly.

 

Sartorius says, in a plain tone, “Enter.” The door opens to reveal Alinna, she enter the room, closes the door behind her, and walks half-way between the door and Sartorius.

 

Alinna asks, with a plain tone in her voice, “You wished to see me, Master Sartorius?”

 

Sartorius tells Alinna, with a plain tone, “Yes, I do. You've done very well for the Society, especially in these troubling times. However, lately, I've noticed a `lack' in your faith.”

 

Alinna becomes slightly nervous and asks, curiously, “What do you mean Master Sartorius?”

 

Sartorius tells Alinna, “Oh, you know what I mean my dear.” Sartorius snaps his fingers and two male SOL members seemly come out of nowhere to restrain Alinna by her arms.

 

Alinna yells out, in shock, “Hey, what's the?! Master, what are you doing?!”

 

Sartorius gets out of his chain, looks at Alinna with an evil gleam in his eyes, and he tells her, “My dear, I believe it is time that you stopped with your `act'. I know that you aren't part of the Society of Light and you never were. You acted as you saw the light when you let the darkness keep you under its control. I'm surprised at how you were able to fool me that you were one of us, my dear. You have some incredible talent.”

 

Alinna gains a sly smile on her lips and she says, with a sly tone, “What can I say? I've been trained by the best.”

 

Sartorius asks Alinna, in a curious tone, “Yes, who would that be? And plus, how are able to resist the light? Only Mr. Hassleberry has been able to do that.”

 

Alinna retorts, in a serious tone, “That's for me to know and you to find out, freak!”

 

One of the male SOL member calls out, angrily, “Watch that tone with Master Sartorius, traitor!”

 

Alinna replies, in a nasty tone, “Or what you mindless tool?!”

 

Sartorius tells Alinna, with an evil smile on his lips, “Well, you might be blind now, but I can help you with that. I think that it is time that you fully experience the power of the light.”

 

Alinna tells Sartorius, with a sly smile and plain tone, “Forgive me if I decline.” Alinna then uses incredible super-strength to throw both of male SOL members off her and slam their right into the opposite walls, knocking them senseless. Sartorius gives off a rare surprised look and Alinna asks him, with a sly smile and plain tone, “What's the matter? Didn't you see that or have the powers that you stole from Sartorius not working anymore . . . Light of Destruction?”

 

Sartorius gives an evil smile and he says, with an evil tone, “It looks like you already know who I really am. However, you've been hiding who you really are to me.”

 

Alinna tells Sartorius, with a sly grin, “Well, allow me to introduce myself.” Alinna then takes out a sailor henshin wand from a sub-space pocket and this sailor henshin wand has a golden staff with one light grey angel wing attached to the top left portion of the staff and another light grey angel wing attached to the top right portion, golden spherical crystal orb is on top of the staff with a emerald green ancient symbol of Earth in the center of the crystal with a silver staff behind the symbol of Earth, there is a golden heart jewel attached to above the crystal orb with four light grey angel wings to the heart jewel.

 

“Earth Eternal Power, Make-up!”

 

Soon after, Sartorius has to close his eyes as Alinna is engulfed in a bright green and golden light as her uniform is torn away and a sailor fuku wraps around her body. When the light dies down, there is a brand new Sailor Scout in front of Sartorius.

 

This brand new Sailor Scout looks a lot like Alinna with her having jet-black hair exact like Darien's hair expect it was in Rei's hairstyle, two sets of three small light grey feathers on the forward portion of her scalp, one set on the left side and the other set of feathers on the right side, deep brown eyes exactly like Darien's eyes and they are full of strength, determination, and independence, the ancient symbol of Earth in on her forehead in bright emerald green, her lips are a bright pink colored, her earrings are in the jewels in the form of Planet Earth with golden heart and star jewels below the `Earth jewels', her cloth neck-choker are a grass green in color with a golden heart jewel and golden jewel in the form of the ancient symbol of Earth in the center of the choker, her V-style sailor collar is a grass green in color, she has a white bodysuit with a golden heart jewel that has four light grey angel wings attached in the bust area of her uniform, her shoulder pads are designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's shoulder pads, but they are pitch black in color, her gloves are also designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's gloves, but they have black bands on them and the bands attached to the ends of the gloves have three small grey feathers on them, her mini-skirt is triple layered with grass green, black, and dark violet as the colors of the mini-skirt, on the top center portion of the mini-skirt is a copy of the golden heart jewel on the bust area of her bodysuit, the bow on the back of her skirt is also pitch black in color and is designed like Eternal Sailor Moon's bow, her light grey high-heeled boots are like Eternal Sailor Moon's boots, but they have jewel designed like the planet Earth on the top center portion of the boots and there are two light grey angel wings on each heel, and coming out of her back is four light grey angel wings. In her right hand is light grey specter with a grass green star-shaped crystal orb on the top of the specter with the ancient symbol of Earth in gold imprinted on the crystal.

 

This new Sailor Scout says, with Alinna's voice, “The name is Eternal Sailor Earth, Earth's premier Sailor Scout, and the reincarnation of Princess Alexandria of Earth. I'm here to make sure that people like don't lay a hand on this world.”

 

Sartorius tells Sailor Earth, “I'm not impressed, Sailor Earth. From your records, you are currently a third-year student, so, why didn't you stop the Shadow Games when they came here to Duel Academy during the last year.”

 

Sailor Earth tells Sartorius, with a smile, “It was not place, too.”

 

Sartorius tells Sailor Earth, with an evil smile, “And that's because destiny meant for you not too, Sailor Earth. That was Jaden Yuki's destiny at that time, like it is his sister's and his destiny to become one with the Light and spread it across the universe.”

 

Sailor Earth tells Sartorius, with a serious tone, “Wrong, you alien freak of nature. Destiny and Fate is forged by the decisions that one or many people make and time are forked path, in which one choice can change the very face of the future, and so far, it looks like your `destiny' is crumbling apart piece by piece.”

 

Sartorius gives an evil sneer and yells out, in an annoyed tone, “You are wrong! Nothing can stop destiny! And it is time that you learned that fact by seeing the light!” Sartorius' body becomes engulfed by the sickly white glow and he shocks Sailor Earth with sickly white lightning assault. Sailor Earth yells out in extreme pain and agony as the negative energy rips into her body, tearing her fuku, and causing multiple cuts and gashes. Sartorius yells out, in an evil tone, “You see, girl, no one can stand up to the light! Now, surrender and become a true part of the Society. Soon the whole world . . . no, the whole universe will see the light!”

 

Sailor Earth shouts out, painfully, “N-Never! I will never become part of your evil scheme Light of Destruction and now, I have plenty to stop you!”

 

Sartorius calls out, perplexed, “What do you mean?!”

 

Sailor Earth yells out, painfully, but with a sly smile, “You . . . You'll see . . . Sailor Teleport!” Soon after, Sailor Earth teleports away and Sartorius stops his attack causing the sickly white glow to fade from his body.

 

Soon after, both male SOL members manage to regain consciousness and one of them asks Sartorius, in a cold serious tone, “Master Sartorius, where is that traitorous spy?”

 

Sartorius tells them, “She managed to escape and she might be trying to warn the nonbelievers of our plans. We need to hurry my friends. Destiny awaits us. Tell the rest of our remaining members to get her to me as soon as possible so she can see the light.”

 

The two male SOL members yell out in unison, “Yes, Master!” The two of them then quickly leave Sartorius' room to carry out his orders and Sartorius keeps his evil sly smile on his lips.

 

(Sometime soon after; in another area of Academy Island)

 

Within another area of Academy Island, we find our Sailor Scout of Mars, Rei Hino, in her civilian form and female Ra Yellow uniform as well as a duel disk attached to her left wrist, walking through a clearing in the forest, looking for any opponents, but not just white-clad students. Rei is looking for other duelists, including pros, to get more medals and advance in the tournament because she wants to win the GX tournament like Jaden, Serena, and the others do and not just save the universe.

 

Rei says, with an annoyed sigh, “Oh man! How am I supposed to win this tournament if I don't find any opponents?” Just then a rustling in the bushes is heard by Rei and she whips her head to see two female SOL members yelping in shock as she sees them. Rei calls out, in a serious tone, “So, you, two, want to face me?!” Just then the two female SOL girls run off into the distance and Rei yells out, annoyed, “Hey, hold it! I challenge you to a duel!” Rei then runs right after them in quick fashion and the two female SOL members continue to run through the forest with Rei hot on their heals. Rei thinks in her mind, “Why are these girls running away from me? Unless they are afraid of me since they know who I really am, but I don't think that's it. They are most likely leading me into a trap.” With this thought in her mind, Rei prepares her henshin wand, just in case, while she continues to chase down the two female SOL members into another large clearing within the forest. The SOL girls are nowhere in sight and Rei looks around to find them, but she doesn't see any sign of them. As Rei slowly walks into the clearing, she looks around for a single sign of them, but when she doesn't get any sign, Rei's suspicions continue to grow and she prepares to leave.

 

But when she is some distance from the forest and is about to leave, a familiar evil male voice calls out, “It is good for you to come, Rei Hino.” Rei whips to the source of the voice to see Sartorius, with a duel disk attached to his left wrist, staring at her with an evil gleam in his eyes.

 

Rei yells out, going into a defensive position, “What do you want, you freak?!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with a calm evil tone, “I'm just here for a friendly duel.”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, in a nasty tone, “Friendly? You? Yeah, right, you brainwashing freak of nature! I doubt it!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil grin on his lips, “What? I'm just trying to do a good deed.”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, with a nasty tone, “An alien freak like you doesn't know the meaning of `good', asshole, so, don't try your mystic mumble jumbo on me!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, activating his duel disk, “Why don't you duel me and find out?” Rei becomes nervous and Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil grin, “Is there a problem? I mean, this could be your big chance to stop me. If you beat me, then Jaden, Serena, and Aster don't have to. You would be the hero and you would be doing your duty and protecting your precious princess.” Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly grin, “But than again, in the end, they will suffer the same fate. They will see the light and they will help me help the whole universe do so as well.”

 

Rei yells out, angrily, “Don't you dare lay a hand on them?! If you do anything to Jaden, Serena, and Aster, you will be sorry! I promise you that in the name of Mars!”

 

Sartorius replies, in an evil smirk, “That sounds like a threat, Ms. Hino. Did I strike a nerve? Oh, wait, I just `threaten' your best friend, your princess, and leader of your fellow Sailor Scouts, Serena Tsukino. But her fate is still the same . . . to serve the light with her brother and Aster.”

 

Rei calls out, in a serious tone, “You won't get Aster and Serena ever!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, “Mmm, Serena is your best friend, like a sister to you. From what I heard from your friends, Ami Mizuno and Hotaru Tomoe, before they returned to the darkness.”

 

Rei yells out, in a very annoyed tone, “You mean before Jaden and Serena freed them from your sick control!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil grin, “It depends on your point of view, but in the end, she, Jaden, and Aster along with their power will belong to the light. Unless someone tries to stop me, but then again, who can?”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, activating her duel disk, “Here's your answer, freak!”

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, with an evil grin on his mind, “Exactly as I thought she would react. Her princess means the world to her because she was the first true friend that Ms. Hino ever had and Jaden's sister has become more like a sister to her, even through she argues with her leader and princess a lot. She will do anything to protect her no matter what and I knew she would react with anger and rage when her best friend comes under threat. However, it also looks she has `affection' for Aster Phoenix as well and that, along with her sisterly bond with Sailor Moon, shall be her downfall into the Light. She will be mine and then she will claim the Moon Princess for the Light.” Their duel disks display 4000 life-points and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

Sartorius replies, with an evil smile on his lips, “Of course.”

 

Rei looks at her hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and calls out, “First, I place one card face-down!” Rei then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and states, “Then I play my Graceful Charity spell card! I draw three cards from my deck and then discard two from my hand!” Rei draws three cards from her deck, discard two from her hand, and says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Finally, I summon Charcoal Inpachi in defense mode!” Soon after, Charcoal Inpachi (100/2100) comes to the field in defense mode. Rei tells Sartorius, in a serious tone, “Your turn!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil smile, “Not bad for your first move, but not even your miko powers can stop the power of destiny. Observe.” Sartorius draws one card from his deck, looks at his hand, and says, putting one card on his duel disk, “I summon Arcana Force Four-The Emperor!” Soon after, Arcana Force IV-The Emperor (1400/1400) comes to the field in attack mode and the image of the card appeared above the monster as well as begins to rotate around.

 

Rei asks, perplexed, “What the?!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile, “Forgive me. You have never seen this before. This monster has two distinct special abilities and the ability it has will depend on if the card is facing right side up or upside down. And you must choose when it will stop. However, fate has already determined when it will stop.”

 

Rei yells out, annoyed, “Would you stop it with that `destiny' crap already?! You already messed up enough minds!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil smile, “Coming from a girl whose destiny was pre-determined before she was before. Her destiny as a Sailor Scout and protector of the Moon Princess.”

 

Rei calls out, angrily, “That's different!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile and plain tone, “Denying it won't change a thing, my dear.”

 

Rei shouts out, angrily, “You getting annoyed! Now, make that card stop!” The card slows down and ends up in the Upright position.

 

Sartorius says, with an evil smile, “The Emperor is right side up and that means all Arcana Force monsters, including itself, gain five hundred more attack points!”

 

Rei says, annoyed, “Damn it!” Soon after, Arcana Force IV's stats increase from 1400/1400 to 1900/1400!

 

Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with this. One card face-down.”

 

Rei draws one card from her deck and yells out, seriously, “Good! My move!” Rei then calls out, “Now, the monster I sent to the graveyard because of Graceful Charity comes to the field! Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys!” Just then a huge column of flames come from the graveyard and Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys (2400/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Rei tells Sartorius, with a sly smile, “Since this card was sent to the graveyard by a card effect, it is immediately revived during my next turn! Plus, when it is summoned this way, it destroys all face-down spell and trap cards on the field!” Rei snaps her fingers and yells out, “Phoenix, do you stuff!” Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys launches a surge of flames that destroys Rei's face-down card, Dominate Volcano trap card, and Sartorius' face-down card, Ace of Wand, and Rei then says, with a sly grin, “Now, since my Dominate Volcano trap card is destroyed, you take three hundred points of damage!” Sartorius yells out as he is engulfed in an explosion causing him to lose 300 life-points.

 

However, when the explosion dies down, Sartorius gives a wide evil grin and says, “Well done. You have proven to be a nearly excellent duelist.”

 

Rei says, with a sneer, “Flattery isn't going to get you, asshole! Now, during my next Standby Phase, thanks to my trap, we will be allowed to search through our decks for a Fire monster and put into our hand, but I doubt that you will have one.” Rei then calls out, in a serious tone, “However, first, my Phoenix will blast your freak of a monster into slag! Phoenix Wing Blaze!” Rei's monster flaps its mighty wings, sends a surge of flames into Arcana Force IV, and destroys it, costing Sartorius another 500 life-points. Rei says, with a sly grin, “Did you predict that jerk?!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “Indeed. You can't stop the flow of destiny, my dear.”

 

Rei says, putting two cards in the spell/trap slots, “Damn it! You are really annoying! I put these cards face-down!”

My move.” Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with an evil grin, “Next, I play Cup of Ace!” The hologram of the spell card appears on the field, starts to rotate around, and Sartorius says, “Now, this card's effect will be determined by the position it is in. If it is right side up, I get two more cards from my deck. If it is upside down, you get two more cards from your deck. However, I already know how this will end up, but if you please . . .?”

 

Rei yells out, angrily, “Fine! Stop that card!” The card slows down as if it is going into the upside down position, but then ends up in the right side up position. Rei calls out, in disbelief, “What?! Twice in a row! You must be cheating!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile and drawing two cards from his deck, “Certainly not, my dear. This is destiny. The three Chosen Ones might have defied it somehow, but sooner or later, it will catch up to them. Now, moving on, I draw two more cards.” Sartorius then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Necro Sacrifice spell card! Now, I get to summon up to two Arcana Force monsters from my graveyard to your side of the field and you chose the mode they will be in. After that, I get to summon a high level Arcana Force monster based on the number of monster I removed from my graveyard. So, I will give you my Emperor.” Just then Arcana Force IV-The Emperor (1400/1400) comes to Rei's side of the field.

 

Rei calls out, seriously, “I chose defense mode!”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “How boring.” Arcana Force IV goes into defense mode and the hologram of the monster in card form above its head starts to rotate. After a while, Sartorius says, “Stop. Right there.” The card ends up upside down position and Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “Since the Emperor is upside, all Arcana Force monsters on your side of the field lose five hundred attack points.”

 

Rei says, annoyed, “You've got to be kidding me!” Arcana Force IV's stats go down from 1400/1400 to 900/1400.

 

Sartorius then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Next, I play Arcana Force Twelve also known as The Hanged Man.” Soon enough, Arcana Force XII-The Hangman (2200/2200) comes to the field in attack mode and its card form appears above its head starting to rotate. Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil grin, “You know what to do.”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, “Does your cards all rely on luck?”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil grin, “How blind you are, my dear. Luck, free will, and choice, they don't exist at all. Fate has already determined this duel.”

 

Rei calls out, angrily, “Don't you ever come up with better material?! Fine! Stop that card!” The card rotates around, slows down, and then stops in the upright position.

 

Sartorius tells Rei, “Since the Hangman is right side up, it destroys a monster on your side of the field and you lose life-points equal to that monster's attack points. And I choose your Phoenix.” Rei gasps in shock, Phoenix is destroyed, and Rei loses 2400 life-points. Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile, “However, I'm not done. Hangman, destroy her Charcoal Inpachi!” The Hangman grabs Rei's monster by the legs and rips it in half, but since it was in defense mode, Rei doesn't lose a single life-point. Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile, “That's all for now.”

Rei draws one card from her deck and calls out, “Lucky shot! But now, my Phoenix returns!” Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys (2400/1600) then returns to the field in attack mode.

 

Sartorius then tells Rei, with a sly evil grin, “However, you lose your face-down card since your Phoenix's abilities destroys all spell and trap cards on the field when it is summoned that way.”

 

Rei pushes a button on her duel disk and calls out, “I know that, asshole! You don't need to tell me what to do! However, I was planning for that! I play this! The trap card known as Insurance!” Rei's face-down card is the Insurance trap card and she says, “Thanks to this card, I can return one face-down card to my hand!” Rei's other face-down returns to her hand before the flames of Phoenix's special ability destroys them, Rei then goes through her deck, and says, “Next, we get to look through our decks for a Fire Monsters.”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, “As you well know, my deck doesn't have any Fire monsters, so, I don't have one.”

 

Rei displays her Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 (1600/1000) and says, with a serious tone, “But I've got mine!” Rei puts the card on her duel disk and says, “Now, I summon my Horus to the field in attack mode!” Soon after, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4 comes to the field in attack mode. Rei then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Level Up! This spell card allows me to upgrade my Horus from level four to level six!” Soon after, Horus glows in a bright light while a card comes out of Rei's dueling deck. She takes the card and puts it on her duel disk causing Horus to grow and expand. When the glow stops, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 (2300/1600) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil smile, “Well played.”

 

Rei calls out, seriously, “If like that alien freak, you will like this! Horus, destroy his Hangman!” Horus launches a surge of black flames from its mouth right at Arcana Force XII and vaporizing it, costing Sartorius around one hundred life-points. Rei then calls out, “Now, Phoenix, attack him directly!” Sacred Phoenix launches a surge of flames at Sartorius, costing him another 2400 life-points. Rei then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I place one-card face-down and play my dragon's ability! When it destroys a monster in battle, I can upgrade him from level six to level eight!” A card comes out of Rei's deck, she puts it on her duel disk, and Horus bursts into flames causing it to grow and expand, again. Soon after, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 (3000/1800) comes to the field in attack mode. Rei then says, with a sly grin, “And with this card on the field, you are out of luck! This monster can negate the activation and effect of all spell cards!”

The hologram of the card appears above its head, starts to rotate, and Sartorius says, with a plain tone, “You know what to do, my dear.”

 

Rei calls out, angrily, “I know already, freak!” After a while, Rei says, in a serious tone, “Stop!” The hologram of the card looked like it would stop in the upside down position, but instead stops in the right side up position. Rei thinks in her mind, annoyed, “Oh man! This is getting annoying!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with a sly evil grin, “Since Knight of Pentacles is right side up, he can't be destroyed in battle.” Rei growls in frustration and Sartorius says, putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “I'll end with this card face-down.”

 

Rei draws one card from her deck and says, with snort, “Pass.”

 

Sartorius says, with an evil sly grin, “Just as I predicted.”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, really angered, “Just make your move!”

 

Sartorius draws one card from his deck and says, with an evil sly grin, “I play Arcana Force Six also known as The Lovers.” Soon after, Arcana Force VI-The Lovers (1600/1600) comes to the field in defense mode and the hologram of the card rotates above it heads. Sartorius tells Rei, with a sly evil grin, “This might seem familiar to you.”

 

Rei replies, in a very annoyed tone, “Don't I know it.” Just then Rei feels a weird pain inside of her and she thinks, “What was that? I feel a weird energy inside of me. Could it be that asshole messing with me? Well, I've got to remain focused and not let his mind-games get to me like he did with Chazz and Alexis! That's how he brainwashed them!” Rei then says, with a strong and angered tone, “Stop that damned card already!” The hologram of the card slows down and lands right in the upright position.

 

Sartorius says, with a sly evil tone, “What do you know? Another card lands right side up, but I will get to that later. I'll end my turn for now.”

 

Rei draws one card from her deck and says, in a strong tone, “Horus, destroy that overgrown mutant!” Horus launches it's attack right at Arcana Force VI with a powerful force.

 

Sartorius pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Forgive me. I play my Shift trap card.” Sartorius' face-down card is revealed to be the Shift trap card and he says, with an evil smile, “With this card, I can shift your attack to any monster I choose and I choose my Knight.”

 

Rei then calls out, stunned, “But that monster can't be destroyed in battle!”

 

Sartorius replies, with an evil sly grin, “Exactly, my dear. Observe.” Horus' attack is redirected to Knight of Pentacles, but doesn't do a thing, thanks to its special ability.

 

Rei puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, annoyed, “I end my turn!”

 

Sartorius draws one card from his deck, gives a wide evil grin, and says, “Ah! Just what I need! Now, I play the effect of my Lovers' card! You see, when it is right side up, it counts as two sacrifices when used to tribute summon an Arcana Force monster.” Sartorius puts one card on his duel disk and says, “So, I sacrifice it to summon my Arcana Force Two-The High Priestess!” The Lovers vanish as it is sacrificed and just then a mysterious eight foot tall female humanoid monster with grey skin, wearing white silk cloaks over nearly all of her body expect for her feet, alien-like face, white high-heeled shoes on her feet, wearing a crown similar to Egyptian Pharaoh, and with a long wand in its right hand comes to the field with 2600/2600 stats!

 

Rei asks, a bit nervously, “What is that?”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly grin, “My newest Arcana Force monster and what a coincidence, it represents you. The High Priestess is someone with great spiritual strength and power and in-tune with the super-natural and spiritual. And since you are miko, you can tell where this is going.” Just the hologram of the card appears above The High Priestess' head, starts to rotate, and Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly grin, “Go on. Tell it to stop, but fate has already determined how it will end.”

 

Rei calls out, angrily, “Would you shut up about your damned `destiny' crap already?!” Rei think in her mind, seriously, “This is not good! Every time that these cards land in the right side up position! It has been bad for me! The only time it has landed upside down was with the Emperor card, but that's when it was on my side of the field! However, I can't let me get to me! If I beat me, this alien freak will be freed from Sartorius' body and all of this madness will end! Then Jaden, Serena, and Aster won't be in danger and they won't have to fight! Serena . . . I'll never allow this asshole to his hands and you and your brother! I'll stop him no matter what it takes! Aster, I'll get your friend back. I promise you!” Rei then calls out, in a serious tone, “Okay, stop that card!” The High Priestess card slows down, it seems it is going to stop upside down, but then it stops in the right side up position.

 

Rei looks on in disbelief and Sartorius yells out, in a serious tone and evil sly grin, “I told you, my dear! Destiny has decided how this duel shall end! And now, since the High Priestess is right side up, its right side up ability activates! Every single one of your spell, trap, and monster card effects is negated and useless as long as this card remains on the field!”

 

Rei calls out, stunned, “Say what?! That means my Horus . . .”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, putting one card in the spell/trap slots and with an evil sly grin, “Are totally useless! Now, moving on! I play my Card of Sanctity spell card! Both of us must draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Rei and Sartorius then draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands.

 

Rei says, in a serious and annoyed tone, “So?! My monster may have lost his ability, but he has more attack points than your freak of nature! He will blast her into next week when it is my turn!”

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly grin, “I'm afraid that he won't get the chance my dear.” Sartorius puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with an evil sly smile, “Now, I play my final card. Suit of Sword X!” The image of the spell card appears above Sartorius' forehead and starts to rotate causing Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly smile, “Go on, Ms. Hino. Tell it to stop, but fate has predicted that it will land right side up!”

 

Rei tells Sartorius, with a very angered tone, “We'll see about that you fucking alien freak!” After a few minutes, Rei yells out, seriously, “Stop!” The card slows down, seems to go into the upside down position, but it goes past and lands in the right side up position.

 

Sartorius tells Rei, with an evil sly grin, “I'm afraid since the card is right side up. All of your monsters are destroyed.”

 

Rei calls out, horrified, “Oh no!” Soon after, Arcana Force IV, Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys, and Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8 are destroyed, leaving Rei totally defenseless.

 

Sartorius calls out, with a sly evil grin, “Now, High Priestess, attack her directly and show her the light!” Sartorius' monster launches a huge sphere of white energy right at Rei and she screams out in immense pain and agony as the attack slams into him causing her 2600 points of damaging and ending the duel.

Rei could feel the evil power of the Light of Destruction enter her body and even through she is trying to resist, she feels herself slipping away, and she thinks, weakly, “No . . . I lost . . . Aster . . . Serena . . . I'm so sorry . . . I tried . . . Aster . . . I tried to get your friend back . . . I failed . . . Serena . . . I tried to protect you . . . but now, I'm being turned against you . . . I feel myself slipping away . . . I losing myself to this alien freak . . . He's taking over . . .”

 

Just then an evil voice within Rei's mind yells out, with a deep evil tone, “I will not allow it!”

 

Rei gasps and thinks in her mind, shocked, “Who . . . Who are you?”

 

The evil female voice booms out with a strong evil excited tone, “One who has been cursed by your family for generations . . . and now . . . after so long in waiting . . . I am free . . . and you . . . you belong to me . . .!!” The evil female voice ring in Rei's mind as her body becomes engulfed a powerful dark violet aura and she screams out in extreme pain as the dark violet energy surges out creating a huge whirlwind. This totally confused Sartorius, not expecting this to happen.

 

Sartorius thinks in his mind, “What is this? I sense a great evil power flowing through Ms. Hino's body. It is taking over and negating the power of the Light! But how is that possible? Sailor Mars should be under my control, but this evil power has negated any control that I already have and is taking over her body! Someone the Light unleashed this evil force because it was sealed in her body! Could this be the evil that the cards warned me about?!” Soon after, Rei's body arches back as it glows into a young woman form, her hair grows long until it reaches the ground, her lips become pitch black, and her female Ra Yellow uniform is replaced by a dark violet dress similar to Mistress Nine's dress. Soon after, a young woman with an evil look in her violet eyes and a dark violet glow around her body replaces our miko.

 

The being that was formally Rei Hino says, with a deep evil female tone, “At long last, I am finally free.” The evil female being looks at Sartorius and says, with an evil smile, “Thank you, foolish creature. Trying to take control of this girl through your evil power has broken the seal on me and allowed me to take her over.”

 

Sartorius asks, in a demanding tone, “Who are you?!”

 

The female being gives a dark deadly glare that would send chills to any normal human being's, male or female, spine and she exclaims, in an enraged female tone, “My name is Lady Eris and I answer to no one! Now, BE GONE!!!” The female being, known as Eris, launches a powerful dark lightning attack at Sartorius and he yells out in extreme pain as he is sent flying thirty yards across the ground before slamming into the ground hard!

 

Just then the two female SOL members that Rei was following before come out of the trees and bushes and yell out in unison, as they rush over to Sartorius, “Master Sartorius!”

 

On the meanwhile, Lady Eris thinks in her mind, “Ah! I sense a being of incredible darkness in the area. She might be helpful for my plans of revenge against the family and the country that sealed me away!” Soon after, Lady Eris teleports away in a similar fashion that the demons from Charmed use while the two female SOL members and Sartorius look on in stunned silence.

 

One of the two female SOL members asks Sartorius, confused, “Master Sartorius, what happened? You won and Rei Hino should have saw the light and not turn into that . . . that demon.”

 

Sartorius nods his head and says, as he gets to his feet, “But it looks like that there was a great evil sealed in her body. The cards warned about it, but I didn't interrupt them correctly. Thanks to the nonbelievers, they are doing the impossible and somehow destiny is changing. We must return to our dorm and I need to try again and see into the future.”

 

The two female SOL members yell out in unison, “Yes, Master!”

 

(Within Queen Beryl's base; A short time later)

 

Within Queen Beryl's base, we find Queen Beryl sitting down on her throne with Jadeite and Zane in front of her when Lady Eris teleport in front of them.

 

Jadeite yells out, in a dark serious tone, “Who are you?! How did you find this place?!”

 

Lady Eris replies, in a dark nasty tone, “I do not answer to mindless fools like you! I wish to speak with her, your leader, Queen Beryl!”

 

Zane tells Lady Eris, darkly, “You will answer us right now!” Zane and Jadeite rush towards her, but Lady Eris' eyes glow a dark violet and Jadeite and Zane are easily lifted into the air and they scream out in pain as they shocked by dark violet electric energy until they were unconsciousness.

 

Queen Beryl says, in a dark plain tone, “Stop! I shall hear you out!” The dark electric attack is stopped and Lady Eris releases her mental bind on Jadeite and Zane causing them to fall to the ground on their stomachs and into unconsciousness. Queen Beryl asks Lady Eris, curiously, “I can see you are a dark being of incredible power. Who are you? And how do you know of me?”

 

Lady Eris replies, with a dark sly smile and dark tone, “I am Lady Eris. Around one thousand years ago, during the Feudal Era of Japan, I was a powerful sorceress of incredible ability and talent. But the foolish warriors and leaders that I helped win their battles against fellow samurai and their leaders only used me until they made me a threat. They hunted me down like an animal and tried to kill me. In revenge, I took life after life! Man, woman, and children in order to gain my revenge! Until a powerful Shinto priestess used her abilities to seal me within her body and to destroy me when she died, but I put a curse on her family in order to survive, going into every one of her female descendant, until the day that of one of her descendants will gain enough negative emotion or power that can I break the seal and take over her body. I know of you because my host knows you. I believe this one is Rei Hino also known as Sailor Mars.”

 

Queen Beryl gasps in shock and exclaims, amazed, “You have taken over the body of one of the Sailor Scouts?!”

 

Lady Eris replies, with a dark sly tone, “Indeed. Thanks to that fool, the Light of Destruction, that tried to take control of her with his evil power. Instead that fool filled her body with enough negative energy for me to be released and take her over. You see, it was the Hino family that had me sealed away and it was through her bloodline that curse extends to every female member.”

 

Queen Beryl says, with an evil sly smile on her lips, “I see. Why do you wish to see me?”

Lady Eris says, with an evil smile, “From my host, I learned all about you, your Negaverse, and your desire to rule the universe. I do not care for such things. All I care about is getting revenge on the whole of Japan because of those who used and hunted me for their own selfish gain! I wish to ally myself with you! I will help you gain the power that you need to revive the Negaverse, destroy your enemies since they are blood descendants of those that hunted and/or imprisoned me, and you help me get revenge on the whole of the Japanese nation for my pain and suffering as well as imprisonment for all of these centuries.”

 

Queen Beryl says, with an evil sly smile, “I like where you are going with this. You have perked my interests with `the enemy of my enemy is my friend'. I think that this could be a valuable alliance indeed.”

 

Lady Eris tells Queen Beryl, with an evil sly smile of her own, “You took the words out of my mouth, your majesty.”

 

(In front of the Slifer Red dorm; In the late morning hours)

 

In front of the Slifer Red dorms, we find Jaden, Alexis, and all of their friends, including the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, Serena, Darien, Rini, and all of the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts, expect for Rei, with the four guardian felines, Luna, Atriums, Sol, and Hyperion, huddle together to discuss Rei's disappearance. They haven't heard a word from her for a few hours and now, they are starting to get worried.

 

Serena says, worriedly, “I'm worried. It is not like Rei to up and vanish like that. She would contact us by now.”

 

Ami nods her head and says, in a worried tone, “Serena's right. I'm worried about Rei too.”

 

Lita tells Serena and Ami, with a smile, “Come on, you, two! It's not like Rei can't take care of herself!”

 

Mina tells Ami and Serena, with her smile and excited tone, “That's right! That brainwashing freak has barely any members in his cult left and we haven't heard a peep from him in awhile!”

 

Darien tells Lita and Mina, in a serious tone, “I'm going to have to agree with Serena and Ami, here, you, two. It isn't like Rei not to contact us to make sure she is all right. And we've tried to contact her with no success.”

 

Hyperion says, with a serious tone, “I fear that the Earth prince might be right and foul play might be afoot.”

 

Amara says, with a serious tone, “With his Society down to barely a `shadow' of its former self and with Aster and Jaden holding the keys to the Misgarth satellite, you know that freak is going to become desperate to win them back and stop us.”

 

Michelle says, nodding her head, “I agree. We shouldn't have let Rei go off like that. She might be a good duelist, but if she faces Sartorius, she might be wearing a white uniform when we next see her.”

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “I'm afraid that it is worse than that bro.” Everyone looks to the source of the voice to see none other than Aster Phoenix carrying an injured Sailor Earth on his back.

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Jaden asks Aster, “Whoa, bro! Who is that?”

 

Aster tells Jaden, in his usual sarcastic tone, “As you can see Jaden, she is one of those Sailor Scouts that your sister and her female friends are. I found her injured in the forest and she begged me to take her to the Moon Princess and her friends. She knows who you really are, so, don't try to hide anything from her. She calls herself Sailor Earth.”

 

Luna, Sol, Atriums, Hyperion, and Trista yell out in shock, “Sailor Earth?”

 

Hotaru asks Trista, surprised, “You know her, Trista-mama?”

 

Trista replies, in a plain and serious tone, “She is Earth's premiere Sailor Soldier, who's powers are created by the powers of the Golden Crystal of Elysion in order to protect the Earth kingdom out of fear of evil within Earth and the fear of us, Sailor Soldiers who protected the Moon Princess, and our powers. Plus, she is the Princess of Earth kingdom that Prince Endymon belongs to.”

 

Darien gasps in shock and asks, stunned, “Wait! Does that make her my sister?”

 

Sailor Earth groans out, weakly, “Yes, it does brother.”

 

Luna says, amazed, “Princess Alexandria, it is you!”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a smile, “It is good to see you, again, Luna. It has been awhile.”

 

Atriums tells Sailor Earth, “It is good to see you, too. We didn't know that you were awakened.”

 

Sailor Earth replies, “I've been awakened for around two years now and I've been a Sailor Scout since I've started out in Duel Academy.”

 

Our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Mina exclaims, stunned, “Hold up! That means you been a Sailor Scout for as long as Serena, Ami, Lita, and Rei have been!”

 

Sailor Earth nods her head and says, with a smile, “Yep! That's correct. And let me say that my `awakening' wasn't exactly pleasant. Let's say that it had to do with the abandoned dorm and leave it at that.”

 

Sol asks Sailor Earth, “What happened to you, Princess Alexandria?”

 

Sailor Earth replies, a bit warily, “The Light of Destruction attacked me when it discovered that I was trying to warn you and that I was spying within the `White Dorm'.”

 

Our heroes and heroines gained wide eyed looks and Mindy asks, perplexed, “You were a spy in the `White Dorm'? But how didn't you get discovered by those white geeks?!”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a weak smile, “I managed to fool the Light of Destruction that I was one of his converts shortly after he had brainwashed Alexis Rhodes through Chazz Princeton. I'm a third-year Obelisk Blue student named Alinna Ensley.”

 

Alexis says, surprised, “Wait! I know you! Personally, I hate the memories of my time as one of those white-clad freaks, but I do remember after I had dueled and brainwashed practically the entire Obelisk Blue Girls' dorm, Alinna, a third-year Obelisk Blue, was one of the few that escaped, but I sent someone to brainwash her as well. Alinna came back as a member as the Society of Light, but very dubiously. She mainly kept to herself and acted suspiciously, but she looked pretty much like a loyal member, so, her loyalty wasn't put into question too much. However, her story about how she was brought into the Society of Light was dubious because the one I sent to duel her seem pretty much out of it.”

 

Sailor Earth says, with a sly smirk, “That alien freak of nature isn't the only one that can play mind-games. When the girl that was to brainwash me prepared to duel me, I used an ancient Lunarian mind-control spell that I learned from some of the top wizards in the Moon Kingdom to alter her mind and I used that same power to make it feel to the Light of Destruction that I was one of her members.” Sailor Earth says, with an annoyed tone, “I did this to figure out what was going on and what kind of evil power that allowed Sartorius to control so many others and alter their way to thinking so nearly completely, but soon after, I learned that he was after Jaden Yuki for some reason and I tried to figure his purpose for Jaden. If I could keep Jaden safe from him, the world and the universe would be safe. And my hopes for stopping him were greater when I learned that all of you arrived, but I knew that I couldn't show my hand yet when I found that Sailor Mercury and Sailor Saturn were brainwashed. However, after Alexis was freed and she was revealed to be the Sun Princess, with Jaden revealed to be the Moon Prince, I found that Princess Arinna wasn't exactly in `fighting shape' to say that least. So, I put on the cloak, made sure that my exit was unnoticed, and made a bit of a show. Does this sound familiar: `Many times, it is hard for one person to face his or herself'.”

 

Alexis gasps in shock and exclaims, “Hold up! You were the person that set up that duel with my `evil self'!”

 

Sailor Earth nods her head and replies, “I remember plenty of the magic that I had learned during my time in the Moon Kingdom and its royal wizards and seers. I used that magic to set up that duel between Alexis and her `evil self' in order for her to regain her fighting spirit and help her fight the evil of the Light of Destruction. However, the only thing terrible about this had to ware these ridiculous white outfits. As Sailor Aries and Sailor Libra would say: `White is so not my color'!”

 

Jasmine says, with a serious tone, “Okay, someone who acts like can't be brainwashed.”

 

Amara says, with a serious tone, “And she isn't. I can't sense any of the evil of the Light of Destruction within her like the Society of Light members and the evil cold look in her eyes wasn't there. Her voice is full of truth and conviction without a second of hesitation. She is telling the truth.”

 

Jasmine tells everyone, “Amara is right. I don't sense the same evil aura that the Society Dorks have that in her.”

 

Ami asks Sailor Earth, “So, what are you trying to warn us about?”

 

Aster says, with a serious tone, “That alien freak is plotting to brainwash Rei.”

 

Our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Lita exclaims, in a serious tone, “Oh no! We've got to save her!”

 

Sailor Earth tells everyone, “It is worse than that. There is something about Rei that you didn't know. Her family, the Hino family, is under a curse and if the Light of Destruction beats her in a duel, he will not control Rei, but he will unleash a terrible evil force sealed within her body.”

 

Sol asks Sailor Earth, “What do you mean Sailor Earth?”

 

Sailor Earth replies, “Around one thousand years ago, in the Feudal Era of Japan, there was a powerful sorceress under the employ of a powerful samurai leader and his followers. Her dark powers won them many victories, but when she became a threat, they tried to get rid of her. She survived and took revenge on the people of Japan, killing men, women, and children. However, Rei's ancestor from her Earth heritage in the Hino family sealed her away within her body. However, she had put a curse on the Hino family. If a female member of the Hino family falls to evil or is inflected with a powerful enough evil force, the seal would break and she would possess the body of the person she was released from. Her name is Lady Eris and she is very powerful incredible dark powers.”

 

Serena says, worriedly, “Oh no!”

 

Syrus says, seriously, “Oh, man! If we didn't have enough problems already!”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone, “We need to save Rei before it is too late!”

 

Just then an evil female voice booms out, in a strong evil tone, “It is already too late!” Just then a huge explosion happens nearby that creates a shockwave that throws our heroes and heroines to the ground.

 

Mina yells out, shocked, “What was that?!”

 

The evil female voice yells out, in an excited evil tone, “That was me!” Just then everyone looks to the source of the voice to see Lady Eris right in front of them.

 

Ami asks, curiously, “Who is that?”

 

Hotaru gasps at the resemblance and says, stunned, “She looks like Rei!”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sly tone, “This might be her body, but I am Lady Eris!”

 

Michelle says, stunned, “Rei's body?!”

 

Lady Eris tells Michelle, with an evil sly tone, “Yes, Michelle. This was your friend, Rei's body, but now, her body belongs to me along with her memories!”

 

Rini says, worriedly, “This is like Mistress Nine all over, again!”

 

Serena calls out, “Rei! Rei! Please, if you are in there, answer us!”

 

Lady Eris yells out, angrily, “Be silent, `princess'! Your friend is gone! Rei Hino no longer exists! I am Lady Eris!” Lady Eris prepares to attack Serena, but she then cries out in pain and falls to her knees as she holds her head. Lady Eris says, in pain, “. . . What's happening . . . to me . . . My head . . . feels like it is splitting apart . . .” Just then the symbol of Mars appears on Lady Eris' forehead and she says, in Rei's voice, “Serena . . . please . . . help me . . .”

 

Ami says, stunned, “That's Rei's voice!”

 

Alexis says, seriously, “Lady Eris was wrong! Rei is still in there somewhere!”

 

Lady Eris says, in Rei's voice, “Serena . . . Darien . . . Girls . . . Help me . . .”

 

Lita tells Lady Eris, “Just hold on, Rei! Fight that demon inside of you!”

 

Amara tells Serena, “Serena, you need to transform to Sailor Moon and heal her!”

 

Lady Eris yells out, in an evil serious tone, “NO! I WON'T ALLOW IT!!” Lady Eris creates a huge black sword in her right hand and points it to her neck! Lady Eris says, in her deep evil female tone, “I will never be sealed away, again! I'll take this girl and her body with me to hell first!”

 

Mina calls out, stunned, “Cheater!”

 

Lady Eris tells Serena, with an evil tone, “I know all about you, `princess', and your Silver Crystal, thanks to your best friend's memories, but I won't allow you to get rid of me that easily. I think that we should make this more `sporting'.”

 

Darien asks, in a serious and suspicious tone, “What do you mean?!”

 

Lady Eris takes the sword from around her neck, creates a black version of the Academy duel disk on her left wrist with a dueling deck inside, and she says, with a evil sly grin, “We play a game that you love to play known as Duel Monsters. Thanks to your friend, her skills belong to me and if you lose, you will surrender your energy and your life to one of your enemies that I just met . . . Queen Beryl.”

 

Our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and Alexis shouts out, stunned, “You've allied yourself with Beryl?!”

 

Lady Eris says, with a wide smile, “All I want is revenge against the descendants of those that sealed and hunted me and if helping her conquer the world will get me that, then I do not care what she does with the world! In fact, I would be glad that she descends the whole world into darkness because the whole world would feel my revenge!” Lady Eris then points the sword at her neck and exclaims, darkly, “And if you refuse . . . Meatball Head . . . I will impale this girl in the throat and kill her! This body is nothing to me! This girl is a descendant of the woman that sealed me away, so, I don't care what happens to her! I will find a new body!”

 

Aster then says, in a serious tone, “Hold it!” Everyone looks at Aster, who has put Sailor Earth down by a tree to support her body, he has a duel disk attached to his left wrist, he puts his dueling deck into the duel disk, and he says, in a serious tone, “If you want some energy, then how about you duel against me?”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Jaden exclaims, worriedly, “Whoa, bro! You can't do that! She is one nasty dark witch!”

 

Aster tells Jaden, in a serious tone, “And if we don't do something, your sister's friend is a goner! We need to stop her here and now to save Rei!”

 

Amara tells Aster, seriously, “You don't know what she is capable of! She has Rei's memories and dueling skills!”

 

Aster says, with a sly smile, “But doesn't mean that she is a match for my skills and my Destiny Heroes.” Aster asks Lady Eris, with a sly tone, “What do you say, Lady Eris? Are you up for a challenge?”

 

Lady Eris activates her duel disk and says, with an evil sly grin, “You shall pay for your overconfident boy.”

 

Aster tells Lady Eris, with a confident tone, “We'll see about that witch.” The two of them go into their position, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points, and both of them draw five cards from their decks.

 

Aster and Lady Eris yell out in unison, “Let's duel!”

Lady Eris draws one card from her deck and says, darkly, “Ladies, first, boy!”

 

Aster says, with a sly sarcastic tone, “Funny, I don't see one in front of me.”

 

Lady Eris sneers at Aster's remark and she says, with a dark sly grin, “Well, let's see how confident after you are after this!” Just then a mysterious dark violet and black fog surrounds Aster, Lady Eris, and all of our heroes and heroines.

 

Mina asks, perplexed, “What's going on?!”

 

Trista says, with a serious tone, “There is a lot of dark power surrounding us. It is exactly like the powers of the Shadow Realm.”

 

Alexis says, seriously, “Don't tell me.”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sly grin, “That's right! This is a Shadow Game!”

 

Aster asks, shocked, “A Shadow Game?!”

 

Lady Eris says, with a wicked grin on her lips, “Yes, boy! Now, prepare to experience a duel like you never experience before! And there is more on the line than a simple game!”

 

Aster tells Lady Eris, seriously, “What do you mean?!”

 

Lady Eris tells Aster, with a dark sly grin, “See for yourself!” Just then beside Lady Eris' left side, Sailor Mars, hanging on a black cross, appears the evil body-snatching spirit, much to everyone's shock.

 

Serena, Ami, Hotaru, Mina, and Lita exclaim in unison and in horror, “Rei!”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sadistic grin, “I thought that it would be nice for my host to get in on the fun.”

 

Mina yells out, angrily, “Leave Rei alone, you witch!”

 

Lady Eris replies, darkly, “Too late, fools! I already have!” Lady Eris tells Aster, “Now, here is how the rules of this Shadow Game work: When you lose life-points, a piece of you goes the Shadow and when you lose, your body and your soul will be sealed away in darkness. However, if I lose, my host goes to the Shadow Realm for all time!”

 

Everyone gasps out in shock and Mindy calls out, horrified and angrily, “That's not fair!”

 

Lady Eris yells out, darkly, “I don't play fair, wench! I've been seeking revenge for generations and I'm not going to be stop by a group of little boys and girls!”

 

Aster says, with a serious tone, “You won't get away with this!”

 

Lady Eris tells Aster, with an evil sadistic grin, “We'll see, little boy. You see, no matter what you do, an innocent soul will be sent into the Shadow Realm.” Lady Eris puts one card on her duel disk and says, “Now, on with the duel! First, I play my Dunames Dark Witch in attack mode!” Soon after, Dunames Dark Witch (1800/1050) in attack mode. Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I equip her with this! The spell card known as Scroll of Bewitchment! This card allows me to change the Attribute of my Dark Witch to any Attribute that I choose, so, she is a Dark monster now!”

 

Aster asks, curiously, “What is the point of that?”

 

Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “You will see with this! Quick-Summon! Now, I can summon another monster!” Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “And I choose my Witch's Apprentice!” Soon after, Witch's Apprentice (550/500) comes to the field in attack mode. Lady Eris says, with an evil sly grin, “And thanks to this card, every Dark monster on the field gains five hundred more attack points!”

 

Amara says, with a plain and serious tone, “And that's why she used that equip spell. To increase her Dark Witch's power.” Soon after, Aster growls in anger as Dunames Dark Witch's stats increase from 1800/1050 to 2300/1050 and Witch's Apprentice's stats go up from 550/500 to 1050/500!

 

Lady Eris puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll put this card face-down and let you try to beat me . . . if you dare.”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “Don't mind if I do!” Aster puts one card on his duel disk and says, “I'll start with this: A Destiny Hero. Diamond Dude, you're on!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then says, with a sly grin, “And since he is a Dark monster, he gets more powerful by five hundred points!” Lady Eris growls in anger as Diamond Dude's stats rise from 1400/1600 to 1900/1600! Aster then says, with a sly grin, “Next, I play his ability! I flip the top card of my deck and if it is a Normal spell card, I send it to my graveyard and it's effect activates during my next Standby Phase! Now, let's see what fate has for me, shall we?” Aster draws one card from his deck, displays his Pot of Greed, and says, smiling and sending the card to the graveyard, “So, I'll store this in my graveyard and my monster will attack!” Diamond Dude immediately attacks Witch's Apprentice, destroying it immediately, and costing Lady Eris 850 life-points as well as reducing Dunames Dark Witch's stats down to 1800/1050 and Diamond Dude's stats back down to 1400/1600.

 

Jaden yells out, excitedly, “Way to go, Aster!” But just then Sailor Mars gives out an ear-piercing scream and everyone looks at her, horrified to see her left arm fading away into the shadows as well as her energy being drained away in a ruby red stream.

 

Serena yells out, horrified, “Rei!”

 

Amara tells Lady Eris, angrily, “What have you done?!”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sneer and dark tone, “Blame your friend. He attacked me. I lost nearly nine hundred life-points and your friend lost a piece of her body to the shadows and some of her energy to the Negaverse.”

 

Mindy says, angrily, “You fight dirty!”

 

Lady Eris says, in an evil nasty tone, “I'm evil, what do you expect, bitch?!”

 

Aster says, in a serious tone, “You won't get away with this!”

 

Lady Eris tells Aster, with an evil sadistic tone, “I already did! You have a choice! Send your soul to the Shadow Realm or send poor Miss Mars to the shadows and save yourself! No matter what you decide, I win!”

 

Aster says, with a serious tone, “We'll see!”

 

Lady Eris says, with a sadistic grin, “Yes, we will.” Lady Eris says, pushing a button on her duel disk, “Now, moving on, since you destroyed my monster, I can play my trap! Michizure!” Lady Eris' face-down card proves to be the Michizure trap card and she tells Aster, with a sly evil grin, “Since you destroyed one of my monsters, this trap card destroyed the monster that you attacked me with! So, say farewell to your only defense!”

 

Diamond Dude explodes into particles as he is destroyed and Aster yells out, stunned, “Oh no!”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sly grin, “Too bad.”

 

Aster puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn with these.”

Lady Eris draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “First, I play Pot of Greed! This card allows me to draw two more cards from my deck!” Lady Eris puts one card on her duel disk and says, “Next, I summon my Witch of the Black Forest in attack mode!” Soon after, Witch of the Black Forest (1100/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Lady Eris then yells out, “Now, Dark Witch, attack him directly! Cosmic Flux Blast!” Dunames Dark Witch fires dark beams of energy right at Aster.

 

Aster pushes a button on his duel disk and yells out, “Wrong, witch! I play my D-Fortune trap card!” Aster's trap card is revealed to be the D-Fortune trap card and he yells out, “Your direct attack activated this card! Now, by removing one Destiny Hero from my graveyard from play, I can negate your attack and your Battle Phase is done!” Aster removes Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude (1400/1600) from his graveyard, puts it in his pocket, and the attack hits a shield that stops the attack cold.

 

Lady Eris says, in a dark annoyed tone, “You are just stalling!” Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with this card!”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “Now, I play Pot of Greed and draw two more cards!” Aster then draws two more cards from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and says, “Then I play my Destiny Hero-Dunker in defense mode!” Destiny Hero-Dunker (1100/1700) comes to the field in defense mode. Aster then discards one card, Destiny Hero-Disk Commander (300/300), to the graveyard and says, “Now, I play his effect. By discarding one Destiny Hero from my hand to the graveyard, I play the five hundred point strike!” Destiny Hero-Dunker leaps into the leap, sends a powerful shockwave, and Lady Eris groans as the shockwave hits her, costing her 500 life-points, but Sailor Mars groans out in pain as her right arms starts to being absorbed into the shadows.

 

Lady Eris says, with a sadistic smile and dark tone, “Thank you. You've just sent more of her into the shadows and soon, she will be gone completely.”

 

Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll place this face-down and now, I'm done.” Aster thinks in his mind, looking at Rei/Sailor Mars, “Sorry about that, Rei, but I can't just let her defeat me. But you need to come on, I can't defeat her without your help! I don't know how you can help, but I know that you might be my only chance of beating her! I can't win in this state! You need to fight back!”

Lady Eris draws one card from her deck and says, darkly, “Something wrong? Just wait.” Lady Eris gives an evil sly smirk, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Now, I sacrifice my Dark Witch and my Witch of the Black Forest to summon my mighty Cosmo Queen!” Soon enough, Dunames Dark Witch and Witch of the Black Forest vanish from the field and Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) takes their place as she appears in attack mode. Lady Eris then goes through her deck and says, “By the way, when my Witch of the Black Forest is sent from the field to the graveyard, her ability activates and it allows me to take one monster with fifteen hundred defense points or less from my deck to my hand!” Lady Eris takes one card from her deck, reshuffles her deck, put her deck back in her duel disk, shows another Dunames Dark Witch (1800/1050) monster card, and says, evilly, “And I choose another Dark Witch from my deck to add to my hand!” Lady Eris puts a button on her duel disk and she says, evilly, “Next, I play my face-down card! Ultimate Offering!” Lady Eris' face-down card is revealed to be Ultimate Offering Continuous trap card and she says, “Now, by paying five hundred life-points, I can summon an addition monster to the field and it is a small price to pay since it is my host that's paying the price! So, I'll give up five hundred points to summon another Dark Witch!” Lady Eris' life-points drop by 500, Sailor Mars groans out in pain as she loses more of her body to the shadows as well as more energy to the Negaverse, Lady Eris puts the card on her duel disk, and another Dunames Dark Witch (1800/1050) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Jaden says, worriedly, “Not good.”

 

Lady Eris then yells out, evilly, “Now, Dark Witch, destroy his so called hero!” Dunames Dark Witch launches black beams of energy at Destiny-Hero Dunker and destroys it, but since it was in defense mode, Aster doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Aster pushes a button on his duel disk and says, “Thank you! You've triggered my trap! Destiny Signal!” Aster's face-down card is revealed to be the Destiny Signal trap card and he says, “Thanks to this, since you've destroyed one of my monsters, this card allows me to summon another one from my hand or deck as long as it is a Destiny Hero that's level four or less!” Aster goes through his deck, takes out one card from his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk, puts the card on his duel disk, and yells out, “And I choose my Destiny Hero-Defender!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Defender (100/2700) comes to the field in defense mode.

 

Lady Eris then calls out, with an evil smile, “Not bad, but that creature won't be here for long! Cosmo Queen, destroy that overgrown pile of stones with Cosmic Nova!” Cosmo Queen creates a sphere of black energy, launches it at Defender, and takes out Aster's Destiny Hero with ease. Lady Eris says, with an evil smirk, “That shall be enough from me.”

Mina says, worriedly, “Oh man! Rei doesn't look so good!”

 

Jasmine tells Mina, “Rei would agree with me that's a major understatement!”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “All right, my turn!” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “All right! I play the spell card: Doctor-D! Now, I remove one Destiny Hero from my graveyard from play and then I summon another one from my graveyard! So, I'll remove my Defender!” Destiny Hero-Defender (100/2700) comes out of his graveyard, Aster puts the card in his pocket, and Aster yells out, “Now, I summon my Destiny Hero-Disk Commander in defense mode!” A bright light comes from Aster's graveyard, Destiny Hero-Disk Commander (300/300) comes to the field in the graveyard, and Aster calls out, “And since my main man was special summoned from the grave, I get two more cards from my deck!” Aster draws two more cards from his deck, puts one card on his duel disk, and says, “Next, I summon Destiny Hero-Doom Lord!” Soon after, Destiny Hero-Doom Lord (600/800) comes to the field in defense mode. Aster tells Lady Eris, in a serious tone, “But he isn't here to spread good will, he is here to spread doom! Your doom!” Just then a wave of energy comes from Doom Lord's right hand, Cosmo Queen vanishes from the field, and Aster says, with a sly smirk, “Don't worry, she'll be back in two turns! Doom Lord removes one monster from play until my second Standby Phase that I play Doom Lord's effect!” Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my D-Formation!” The hologram of the D-Formation Continuous spell card appears on Aster's field and he says, “Now, whenever you destroy a Destiny Hero, let's just say that there will be a price, so, just try it!”

 

Lady Eris says, darkly, “Do you think that scares me?! Hardly!” Lady Eris draws one card from her deck, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “First, I summon Unfriendly Amazon in attack mode!” Unfriendly Amazon (2000/1600) comes to the field in attack mode, Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next, I play my Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw cards until we have six cards in our hands!” Lady Eris and Aster then draw cards from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Lady Eris then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and she says, “Next, I play my Meteor of Destruction! Since your life-points are over three thousand, you lose one thousand life-points automatically!”

 

Aster yells out, stunned, “Say what?!” Just then a huge meteor slams into Aster and he yells out in surprise, but then he groans out in pain as much of his left arm expect for his lower wrist and hand vanish into the shadow along with part of his right arm as well as a blue stream of energy leaves his body, heading for the Negaverse while he loses 1000 life-points.

 

Jaden calls out, stunned, “Aster!”

 

Lady Eris puts another card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Ready for more pain?! Now, I play my Living Arrow card! This card destroys one spell or trap card on the field and you lose five hundred points for that card! And I choose your face-down!” Just then an arrow strikes Aster's face-down card, Eternal Dread trap card, destroying it, and Aster groans as his lower waist and chest start to fade into the shadows and his energy gets drained along with a loss of 500 life-points. Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I equip my Amazon with Fairy Meteor Crush! Now, whenever she destroys a monster in defense mode, the difference between her attack points and the defending monster's defense points are taken out of your life-points!”

 

Lita says, worriedly, “That's not good!”

 

Lady Eris yells out, “Amazon, take out his hero!” Unfriendly Amazon rushes in, slices Aster's Destiny Hero-Disk Commander in half, destroying it, and Aster yells out in pain as much of the rest of his body is sent into the shadows with the loss of energy as his life-points drop by 1700. Lady Eris then calls out, “Now, Dark Witch, take out his other peon!” Dark Witch launches her attack, destroying Destiny Hero-Doom Lord, but since it was in defense mode, Aster doesn't lose a single point. Lady Eris then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, with an evil smile, “This will end my turn for now.”

By this time, Aster was barely a head, two hands and lower wrists, and two feet, his energy was weak, and Jasmine exclaims, worriedly, “Oh, man! Aster is barely there anymore! If he doesn't do something, he's a goner!”

 

Amara says, in a serious tone, “And if he wins, we lose Rei to the shadows! This bitch is really getting me pissed off!”

 

Aster says, with a serious tone, “Don't worry about it! I'll win and save your friend!”

 

Lady Eris tells Aster, with an evil confident tone, “I would like to see you try!”

 

Aster draws one card from his deck and says, “If you insist!” Aster then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “Now, I play my Polymerization spell card!” Aster discards two cards from his hand, Elemental Hero Avian (1000/1000) and Elemental Hero Burstinatrix (1200/800) appear on the field, go into a fusion vortex, and while Aster puts a fusion card from his fusion deck on his duel disk, he says, “Now, I fuse my Elemental Hero Avian and Burstinatrix to form Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer!” Out of the fusion vortex, Elemental Hero Phoenix Enforcer (2100/1200) comes to the field in attack mode. Aster then says, with a sly smile, “If you think he looks cool, then wait until you see his attack! Phoenix Flare!” Phoenix Enforcer rushes forward, slashes Unfriendly Amazon, she cries out as she is destroyed, and Lady Eris loses 100 life-points, but Sailor Mars loses another small portion of her body and energy. Aster says, with a serious tone while putting one card in the spell/trap slots, “That's all from me.”

Lady Eris draws one card from her deck and says, with a dark tone, “That's too bad!” Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Now, I play Dark Spell Regeneration! This spell card brings back one spell card in the graveyard and allows me to use it for one turn! And I choose Card of Sanctity!” Both duelists then draw until they had six cards in their hands each, Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, “Next up is my Earthquake spell! This card switches all face-up monsters to defense mode!” A huge Earthquake comes on the field and Dark Witch and Phoenix Enforcer switch from attack to defense mode. Lady Eris puts one card on her duel disk and says, “Then I sacrifice my Dark Witch for Summoned Skull!” Dunames Dark Witch vanishes and is replaced by Summoned Skull (2500/1200) in attack mode. Lady Eris then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play Magic Stone Excavation! By discarding two cards from my hand, I get one spell card back from the grave!” Lady Eris discards two cards from her hand, takes one card from the graveyard, and revealed it to be Fairy Meteor Crush, putting it in the spell/trap slots, causing her to say, “And the card I choose is Fairy Meteor Crush! And I equip it to Summoned Skull!”

 

Michelle says, in a serious tone, “That's not good! Even through Aster's monster will survive the attack, thanks to its ability, Aster's life-points will be another story.”

 

Lady Eris yells out, with an evil smile, “Summoned Skull, attack his Phoenix Enforcer and end this duel! Lightning Strike!” Summoned Skull gives a demonic roar as it launches a lightning assault right at Aster, but unnoticed to everyone else, he pushes a button on his duel disk before the lightning attack slams into Phoenix Enforcer causing a huge explosion!

 

Jaden calls out, horrified, “Aster!”

 

Lady Eris exclaims, evilly, “It's over!”

 

Just then Aster's voice booms out, with a sly tone, “Not quite!” Lady Eris gasps in shock and when the smoke and dust clear, Aster is still there, barely, and he still has 500 life-points as well as a face-up Elemental Recharge trap card on the field.

 

Lady Eris yells out, stunned, “But how?!”

 

Aster points to his trap card and says, with a sly smile, “My Elemental Recharge is how! It gave me a one thousand life-point boost for every Elemental Hero on the field! So, you attack didn't come close to finishing me!”

 

Syrus calls out, excitedly, “Way to play!”

 

Lady Eris puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, angrily, “You are just stalling!”

Aster draws one card from his deck and he says, “Since two turns have pasted, your Cosmo Queen comes back to the field.” Cosmo Queen (2900/2450) returns to the field in attack mode. Aster then puts one card on his duel disk and says, “But I have D-Cubic in attack mode!” Soon after, D-Cubic (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode and Aster says, “Next, I play the effect of my D-Formation card! Since two Destiny Heroes were destroyed, I can play its effect and I can put every single copy of the monster that I summoned into my hand!” D-Formation Continuous spell card vanishes from the field, Aster goes through his deck, takes out two more cards from his deck, puts his deck back in his duel disk, and he says, putting another card in the spell/trap slots, “Now, I play my Quick-Summon! Allowing me another Normal Summoning this turn! And get this, when I sacrifice my D-Cubic for a Tribute Summon, if I send one additional D-Cubic in my hand to the graveyard, this little guy on the field counts as two sacrifices! But I plan to send the other two D-Cubic cards in my hand to the graveyard to make this little guy count of three!” Aster discards the other D-Cubic monster cards to the graveyard, puts one card on his duel disk, and Aster's D-Cubic on the field vanishes.

 

Lady Eris asks, worriedly, “Does this mean?”

 

Aster yells out, seriously, “That's right! I wasn't planning to use this card until I got to my bud, Sartorius, but you've just gotten the honor to see this card for yourself! Now, meet my dad's lost card and my ultimate monster: Destiny Hero-Plasma!” Just then a red whirlpool appears in front of Aster and out of that whirlpool, Destiny Hero-Plasma (1900/600) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Tyranno yells out, stunned, “Sam hill! That's his pappy's card!”

 

Aster then says, with a serious tone, “Now, his effect activates! Allowing me to take one monster on your side of the field and add that monster to Plasma, giving him half of that monster's attack power! And I think I'll take Cosmo Queen!” Destiny Hero-Plasma's wings extend, Cosmo Queen is sucked into Plasma's wings, and its stats rise from 1900/600 to 3350/600! Aster then displays his D-Force spell card and says, “Next, I play my D-Force spell card!” Aster places the card face-up on the top of his deck and says, with a sly smile, “With this card on top of my deck, I can't draw any more cards, but I can play Plasma's ability! As long as D-Force remains in effect, all of your spell and trap cards are useless against my cards! Plus, your monster effects won't work either!”

 

Chazz says, amazed, “Now, that's one powerful monster!”

 

Jaden tells Chazz, also amazed, “No kidding, Chazz! With a monster as powerful as Plasma, Aster doesn't need any more cards!”

 

Lady Eris says, with an evil sneer, “It won't be enough to end this!”

 

Aster puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I disagree! Now, I play my Gift of the Martyr spell card! I sacrifice my Phoenix Enforcer to add his attack points to Plasma for this turn!” Phoenix Enforcer vanishes from the field and Destiny Hero-Plasma's stats rise from 3350/600 to 5450/600!

 

Lady Eris yells out, in shock, “It can't be!”

 

Syrus yells out, excitedly, “Awesome! That monster has enough power to take out her Summoned Skull and her life-points and with that monster's ability, her face-down cards are useless!”

 

Lady Eris then giggles evilly and she exclaims, darkly, “Did you forget about her?!” Lady Eris points to Sailor Mars and she says, with an evil sadistic smile, “That's right! Remember, if you win, she loses herself to the shadows!” Aster growls in annoyance and our heroes and heroines gasp in shock and surprise.

 

Mina says, worriedly, “That's right! If Aster attacks and wins, we'll lose Rei, but if he doesn't attack, he'll be gone!”

 

Aster thinks in his mind, “Damn it! She's right! I can't attack with Rei in danger like that!” Aster yells out at Rei's/Sailor Mars' unconscious form on the cross, “Hey, Rei, are you going to let that happen?! You are supposed to be one of the super-heroes that you are going to protect this planet! Are you going to let some overgrown witch take over your body and discard you like trash?!”

 

Lady Eris tells Aster, with an evil smirk, “Don't bother! Thanks to that fool, the Light of Destruction, and my takeover of her body, she is too weak to reply.”

 

Aster tells Lady Eris, with a sly smile, “Ha! Shows how much that you know about her!” Aster then yells at Sailor Mars' unconscious form on the cross, “Why don't you stop lying around and wake up?! Show all of us that you call yourself a hero and give this bitch what she deserves!”

 

Lady Eris says, annoyed, “I've had enough of your mouth, boy!” But before she could do anything, an immense amount of pain rushes through her body and she cries out in extreme pain and agony as she holds her head in which the symbol of Mars in ruby red appears on her forehead.

 

Luna says, stunned, “That's the symbol of Mars!”

 

Ami gasps in shock, points at Sailor Mars, and exclaims, “Look, everyone!” Everyone looks to see Sailor Mars' body on the black cross give off a bright ruby red glow and her eyes shoot open with a look of anger and determination in her eyes.

 

Sailor Mars yells out at Lady Eris, in her usual manner, “There is no way that I'm letting some thousand year old witch take my life! I am the Princess of Mars and that's my body and my life! And it's time that I show you what it means to try to control my body!” Sailor Mars gives a loud cry as her body transforms into flames and vanishes from the cross.

 

Darien and Serena gasp in shock and Darien asks, worriedly, “What happened to her?!” Just then Aster feels a familiar presence from his right and he turns to see the spirit of Sailor Mars standing behind him with a wide smile on her lips.

 

Sailor Mars' spirit tells Aster, with her sly smile, “Well, what are you waiting for Aster?! Don't worry, my soul isn't on the serving plate anymore! Hers is!”

 

Aster yells out, excitedly, “Awesome! I knew you can do it, Rei!”

 

Sailor Mars tells Aster, with a sly smile, “Thanks to you, Aster!” Sailor Mars' spirit kisses Aster on the right cheek causing him to blush and Sailor Mars' spirit tells him, seriously, “That's for helping me out! Don't think that I'm going mushy on you, buster! And that Meatball Head and Mina better not say a word!” Serena and Mina give innocent looking smiles while crossing their fingers behind their backs.

 

Lady Eris yells out, horrified, “No, this can't be!”

 

Aster yells out, in a serious tone, “Wrong, this CAN be! Now, Plasma, attack her Summoned Skull and end this duel!” Destiny Hero-Plasma rises into the air and prepares to attack.

 

Aster and Sailor Mars' spirit yell out in unison, “End this duel with Vengeful Rain!” Destiny Hero-Plasma launches multiple blood red bolts at Summoned Skull and destroying it in a huge explosion causing Lady Eris to cry out as she loses 2950 life-points, ending the duel immediately.

 

Final Score:

Aster: 500

Lady Eris: 0

 

With the duels end, Aster gets his whole body back while Sailor Mars' spirit vanishes, Lady Eris' body cracks and breaks apart, and with one final death cry, her body totally shatters, revealing our Sailor Senshi of Mars in civilian form with her female Ra Yellow uniform and duel disk with dueling deck attached to her left wrist. Rei collapses to the ground on her back and the shadows fade away.

 

Serena, Ami, Mina, Lita, and Hotaru yell out in unison and worry, “Rei!” All of our heroes and heroines immediately rush to her unconscious form and Aster, getting to her first, puts her into his arms gently.

 

Jaden asks Aster, “Is she okay?”

 

Serena says, worriedly, “Rei, please speak to us!”

 

Rei groans out in pain and she says, weakly, “Hey, not so long, Meatball Head.” Rei then slowly opens her eyes and everyone smiles seeing that she is all right.

 

Mina says, excitedly, “You're okay!”

 

Rei tells Mina, weakly, “No duh, I'm okay, Mina. Do you think that I'm going to let some thousand year old witch get rid of me that easily?”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile, “A girl like you? I knew that you are too stubborn to let that witch get rid of you.”

 

Rini tells Rei, with a smile, “We're glad that you are okay, Rei.”

 

Rei tells Rini, “Thank you, Rini.” Serena wipes a few tears from her eyes, knowing that her good friend will be okay. On the meanwhile, Sailor Earth is watching this scene with a smile on her lips, but gains a serious look and looks towards the sky.

 

(Within Queen Beryl's base; A short time soon after)

 

Inside of Queen Beryl's base in the Negaverse, Queen Beryl, sitting down on her throne, with Jadeite and Zane in front of her, watched the whole duel with Queen Beryl's crystal ball.

 

Queen Beryl says, with a plain tone, “So, she failed us.”

 

Zane says, darkly, “Not surprising that she would.”

Queen Beryl tells Zane, “However, my dear Zane, it wasn't a total loss. She did give us some high-quality energy for the full revival of the Negaverse, but we can't fully revive it here at this rate. With these rotten Sailor Scouts and that Moon Princess's brother and her friends being here, it will be hard to gather the necessary energy. However, I do know another source of dark power that we need.”

 

Jadeite tells Queen Beryl, curiously, “Where my queen?”

 

Queen Beryl replies, with an evil sly grin, “In Egypt. Prepare to move out and leave this pathetic place. With those foolish scouts focused on the Light of Destruction, we will have free reign to acquire this power and with it, we won't need the Silver Crystal or the energy of these pathetic people of Earth! The Negaverse shall be revived and nothing shall stand in our way!”

 

Jadeite and Zane yells out in unison and emotionless, “Yes, my queen!”

 

Queen Beryl thinks in her mind, “Keep to your silly little game and that fool, the Light of Destruction, Princess Serenity and Prince Judai, because when I return, what I have planned for you, will make what the Light of Destruction made you go through seem like nothing!” However, what Queen Beryl doesn't know is that shadowy figure is watching her unnoticed from the shadows and he vanishes as quickly as possible.

 

Next time in Chapter 14: Prelude to the Final Battle: Soon after, Rei is freed from the control of the evil Lady Eris, Shadi comes to Yugi, Atem, Tea, and their friends and informs them of Queen Beryl's plan! Queen Beryl plans to go to Egypt and steal the Millennium Items to revive the Negaverse! Yugi, Atem, and the others inform the rest of our heroes and heroines of what happened, but Shadi tells them that the Serena, Darien, Rini, and her friends, Jaden and his friends, and Alexis' Sailor Scout team, the Zodiacs, need to stay here and finish their battle with the Light of Destruction before they can help or the universe will be lost to its evil impure light! Yugi, Atem, and the others drop out of the GX tournament to head for Egypt and their mission, but before they go, Atem and Tea have some `alone time' and express their feelings for each other! After Yugi and the others have gone, the GX tournament goes onto until there are only eight people left: Jaden, Alexis, Chazz, Serena, Ami, Aster, a pro duelist, and Sartorius, even through he has only one medal! During this time, our heroes and heroines have totally demolished the Society of Light and have retaken the Obelisk Blue Girls' Dorm, thanks to a certain team of one Moon Princess and one Sun Princess storming inside of it and taking out the remaining female members of the Society of Light single-handedly! Talk about ironic payback for Alexis! With only a few duelists remaining in the tournament, Chancellor Sheppard organizes the finals with Sartorius dueling the Pro Duelists, Aster against Ami, Chazz against Serena, and Jaden against Alexis. Sartorius beats the Pro with ease while Ami puts up a good fight, but loses to Aster while Serena and Chazz duel with all they got with Chazz wanting some payback against Sartorius as well as to win the tournament, but Serena's abilities with her Elemental Heroes, Cosmic Elemental Heroes, and Neo-Spacians might throw Chazz for a loop, and finally, even through they love each other, Jaden and Alexis duel with all of their might to prepare for whoever wins to go to the final round and it will be a duel to remember! On the meanwhile, before the semi-finals start, a `tender moment' happens between Aster and our Sailor Scout of Mars! Whoa! Finally, the semi-final rounds start with Sartorius, still possessed by the Light of Destruction, against Aster Phoenix. As the duel between them rages, Sartorius' Arcana Force monsters seem to get the better hand of Aster's Destiny Heroes! However, Rei's encouragement and the spirit of an `old friend' might give Aster what he needs to end this madness. What will happen between Alexis and Jaden in their duel? How will Serena stack up to Chazz now that he's free of the Light of Destruction's influence? And what will happen between the Light of Destruction possessed Sartorius and his `former' friend? Find out the answers in the next dramatic and action-filled chapter of Destiny Stars!

 

Here it is, the next chapter of Destiny Stars! Sorry that it took awhile to get out! You see, my computer is venerable to overheating during the summer so I will have to limit my time that I spend on the computer for the whole of the summer, so, this along with getting summer job, will make it harder to get story chapters out, but I will try to get them out as soon as possible! I'm going to have to say that this story will be a bit longer than I thought! This story will take sixteen to seventeen chapters to complete because I've got a `special' chapter planned full of romance and comedy after the final duel with the Light of Destruction, but I can't tell you anymore than that. Anyway, what did you think of this chapter? The `tender moments' between Ami and Bastion? Mina and Atticus? And what about Rei and Aster? Oh, there is going to be another Rei/Aster romantic moment in the next chapter!
