Well, I'm sorry that this chapter took so long to get out, but my parents wished that I make a resume to get a summer job to pay for my upcoming fall semester and I had barely passed my Spanish course, which puts makes my upcoming school semester at Penn State university in doubt, even through I passed this whole year. Let's just say that this semester wasn't my best and I have two more semesters in school to go. Anyway, I've gotten some questions about the relationships between our favorite heroines and the male heroes of our GX crew. Hopefully, they will be answers in this chapter, but beforehand, the romances in this story are Jasmine/Chazz, Bastion/Ami, Hassleberry/Lita, Atticus/Mina, Serena/Darien, Jaden/Alexis, Hotaru/Syrus, Tea/Atem, and Rei/Aster. And with Zane having a past life in the Silver Millennium, there is a possibility, but I will think upon that. Plus, in the sequel, there will be some elements of the third season of Yu-Gi-Oh GX, but I'm not sure of anything else, yet. Finally, I would like to give credit and thanks to Princess Lena aka Lady Kittuna for the idea and inspiration for this chapter as well as dedicate this chapter to this author.

Chapter 12: Ami's Duel of Determination

 

(In the skies near Duel Academy; Shortly after sunrise)

 

In the partially cloudy skies over the blue colored oceans shortly after sunrise, we find a grey helicopter with Duel Academy logo on its side flying towards Seto Kaiba's institution and inside, we find Rei Hino, in her Ra Yellow uniform, with Aster Phoenix and Chancellor Sheppard in the passenger's side of the helicopter with Aster Phoenix having a serious expression on his face as he and our Sailor Senshi of Mars explained what happened on The D's personal luxury ship.

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks Aster, “So, you finally managed to find your father's missing card, Aster?”

 

Aster nods his head and says, in a plain and serious tone, “Yes, I did. But I also found something . . . someone else actually. My father.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard gasps in shock and exclaims, stunned, “Your father?!”

 

Rei nods her head and says, in a bit of a solemn tone, “That's right, sir. We found Aster's father . . . in a way.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks Aster and Rei, “But how?”

 

Rei tells Chancellor Sheppard, “It isn't to explain sir.” Rei then starts to explain what happened in the final moments of the duel to Chancellor Sheppard while Aster was in deep thought.

 

Aster thinks in his mind, “I won't let you down dad . . .”

 

Flashback; Near the end of the duel between The D and Aster

 

Looking back, we find ourselves near the end of the duel between Aster Phoenix and The D, possessed by his evil side created by the Light of Destruction, with Aster using his Destiny Hero-Celestial (1600/1400-2600/1400) attacking The D's weakened Destiny Hero-Plasma (1900/600), the `Ultimate D-card' created by Aster's father, but then Aster and Sailor Mars, who was helplessly watching on the sidelines during the whole duel, learned to their horror that Destiny-Hero Plasma, thanks to the evil powers of the Light of Destruction, absorbed the souls of people, including Aster's father. Aster's father or the soul of Aster's father tells Aster and Sailor Mars about what happened and how the Light of Destruction possessed him to fully create this card.

 

Aster's father, his soul trapped within the wings of Destiny Hero-Plasma, states, “. . . Because of me, the most powerful force in the universe is free! Aster, you must stop the light!”

 

Aster asks his father, perplexed, “But how?!”

 

Aster's father calls out to Aster, “The D is just a pawn! The real evil lives . . . lives inside of Sartorius!”

 

Aster asks, perplexed, “It does?!”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, as Rei continues to explain about what happened on The D's ship to more shocked and horrified Chancellor Sheppard, Aster is still in deep thought, perplexed about his father told me.

 

Aster thinks in his mind, “But Sartorius has been my friend since we were kids . . .”

 

Flashback; Around ten years ago

 

Looking back into Aster's memories, we find a young Aster, probably seven to eight years old, sitting down in front of a table in Tarot cards being lay out on the table and sitting on the other side of the table is a young Sartorius, eight to nine years of age, and Sartorius lies down the Tarot card known as The Hierophant or The Prince, right side up, in front of Aster.

 

Young Aster asks Young Sartorius, “What's this?”

 

Young Sartorius tells Young Aster, in his kind and gentle tone, “This is the Hierophant also known as The Prince, Aster. It represents salvation and hope and best of all, it represents you, Aster. One day, someone is going to need your help and you are going to save them. You're a hero.” When Young Aster looks at Young Sartorius, his eyes are full of seriousness, through they are still kind and gentle, and Young Sartorius tells Young Aster, “It's true.”

 

Young Aster asks Young Sartorius, curiously, “A hero? But who am I going to save Sartorius?”

 

Young Sartorius tells Young Aster, solemnly, “I can't say.”

 

Young Aster tells Young Sartorius, a bit impatiently, “Oh, come on, Sartorius! You can tell me!”

 

Young Sartorius sighs and says, solemnly, “All right, but you are not going to like it. It seems the one that you are going to save . . .” Young Sartorius puts his hand on the top card of his Tarot deck, turns the top card over, and reveals The Devil Tarot card, right side up, causing Young Sartorius to say, solemnly, “ . . . Is me. I took a look into my future and it looks bleak. It is filled with temptation and evil. And some day, I will need you to rescue me.”

 

Young Aster asks, worriedly, “Me? Are you sure? Could you have read the cards wrong?”

 

Young Sartorius shakes his head and replies, solemnly and sadly, “No, Aster.”

 

Young Aster says, sadly, “But I don't want anything to happen to you.”

 

Young Sartorius tells Young Aster, reassuringly, “Nothing will happen to me because you are going to rescue me.”

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present time, Aster looks out the window of the helicopter at the water and gains a look of pure determination in his expression while Chancellor Sheppard has an expression of shock and horror after Rei explains everything that happened on The D's luxury yacht.

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, in a plain and serious tone, “I see. So, it was The D all along that took Aster's father away when he became possessed by the Light of Destruction and he adopted Aster only to keep the police off of his tail.”

 

Rei nods his head and says, in her usual tone, “Yes, sir. Then that slime infected Sartorius with the Light of Destruction when it took him over through that card that Aster's father created. It left a remnant of itself inside of The D while the true core of its evil remained inside of Sartorius. And that remnant still had enough evil power to make that `Ultimate Destiny card' still have the power to `swallow' human souls, but when Aster defeated The D and Destiny Hero-Plasma, he purified the card and gave those souls peace.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard tells Rei, nodding his head, “I see. The main reason for this tournament was not only to bring Zane back to normal from this new `Hell Kaiser' persona that he transformed into, but in order to find that `Ultimate Destiny card' by the request of Maxamillion Pegasus. He then explained about the Light of Destruction and the unusual `white hole' that it came from and then I told him about what happened in Duel Academy with Sartorius. Needless to say, he was pretty shocked and he theorized that the Light of Destruction has taken Sartorius as a permanent host while keeping a remnant of itself in the `Ultimate Destiny card' in order to spread more chaos and destruction on its quest to take over the universe.”

 

Rei tells Chancellor Sheppard, in plain and serious tone, “Well, this card isn't going to be a problem anymore. Aster made sure that he took care of it.” Rei then turns her head towards Aster, sees him looking at the window with look of pure determination, and she asks Aster, curiously, “Something wrong, Aster?”

 

Aster snaps out his train of thought and he replies, in his usual manner, “Nothing.”

 

Rei tells Aster, in her usual manner, “Doesn't look `nothing' to me, Aster.”

 

Aster says, with a sly smile and sly tone, “Guess I can't hide anything from you, huh?”

 

Rei tells Aster, with her sly smile and sly tone, “I'm not a miko for nothing, you know.”

 

Aster tells Rei, with his sly smile and sly tone, “Not to mention some kind of Martian Princess.” Aster then says, with a serious tone, “Anyway, I need to get to `White Dorm' as quickly as possible.”

 

Rei is shocked and she tells Aster, in a serious tone, “Are you nuts?! Don't tell me that you are going to face Sartorius?!”

 

Aster replies, in a serious tone, “I am. I promised him that if anything happened to him that I rescue him and I won't go back on my word.”

 

Rei tells Aster, in a serious tone, “But Aster, he isn't the person that you knew. He is possessed by some brainwashing, power-hungry freak from outer space, and believe me, they are very dangerous.”

 

Aster asks Rei, “And you should know?”

 

Rei retorts a bit annoyed, “Damn well, I know, Aster! I fought plenty of those with my friends and I can tell you that it wasn't a pleasant experience for any of us. You can't just rush in and face Sartorius! If you are one of the three `Chosen Duelists' that the Light of Destruction needs to take over the whole universe, you can't just rush in there since if he gets you, he will have one of the three `keys' needed to brainwash every living being in the universe.”

 

Aster says, in a plain and serious tone, “I don't really care about one of the three `Chosen Duelists' that alien freak needs. Sartorius is my friend and I made him a promise that I won't go back on.”

 

Rei huffs and says, in an annoyed tone, “Just like a man.”

 

Aster asks Rei, curiously, “And what's that supposed to mean?”

 

Chancellor Sheppard then interrupts and says, “Sorry to interrupt, you, two, but I feel that Rei is right about this one. I can't just drop you in there like that and you can't just rush off to face Sartorius right away. We need a plan and we are heading for the helicopter pad in Academy harbor. And that's final.” Rei gives a sly smile at Aster and he just huffs in defeat. On the meanwhile, the helicopter continues to head towards Academy Island where storm clouds being to form in the skies above it.

 

(Inside of the `White Dorm'; Sometime during the same morning)

 

Within the Sartorius' private quarters in the `White Dorm', we find him looking over his Tarot card deck for a look into the future to find the `key' to acquire the satellite keys and the three Chosen Duelists, Serena, Jaden, and Aster. However, things for him and the Society of Light were getting worse and worse. By this time, the Society of Light only had one-eighth of its original membership by the time Serena, Darien, and the Moon Kingdom Sailor Scouts arrived on Duel Academy. Thanks to our heroes and heroines, they were freeing more and more members of the SOL from Sartorius' control and bringing them back to their senses. Sartorius AKA the Light of Destruction needed a solution to defeat his enemies and gets the keys to the Misgarth satellite back so he can use it to make the people of Earth `see the light'. Sartorius puts three Tarot cards down in front of him and he turns up the center one, revealing The High Priestess Tarot card.

 

Sartorius says, with an interested smirk, “I see. The High Priestess. This card depicts a person of great spiritual and inner strength, who is greatly in tune with the world around, especially the realms of the super-natural and spiritual. I wonder: Who can this be?” Sartorius upturns the card to the left of The High Priestess Tarot card and finds that it is The Moon Tarot card. Sartorius says, with an evil grin, “Yes, it is The Moon card. This represents Ms. Moon, so, the cards tell me that this is a person connected with her. And I know just only one person that has great spiritual and inner strength connected with Ms. Tsukino. Rei Hino, daughter of a famous Japanese statesman, and who is a miko, a Shinto Priestess. And she has the ability to see Duel Monster spirits as the princess that she protects as well as her miko powers make her deeply in turn with the spiritual and super-natural. She must be the key to make Sailor Moon see the light.” Sartorius then overturns the card to the right of The High Priestess Tarot card and he becomes surprised, which is rare, when he finds that it is The Wheel of Fate Tarot card upside down. Sartorius says to himself, with a curious and rare perplexed tone, “This is strange. The cards warn of great risk if I go ahead to attempt to acquire Ms. Hino and use her to make Ms. Moon see the light. But why?” Sartorius turns the top card in his Tarot card deck and his eyes widen when he sees that it is The Devil Tarot card right side up and it makes the evil leader of the SOL wonder what this means because in a rare `event', he isn't sure what his Tarot cards are telling him.

 

(Sometime later that morning; Within Duel Academy harbor)

 

Later that morning, we find our heroes and heroines, Jaden, Alexis, Tyranno, Bastion, Syrus, Jasmine, Mindy, Blair, Chazz, Atticus, Serena, Darien, Ami, Mina, Lita, Hotaru, Amara, Michelle, Trista, Danielle, Reece, Sara, Keiko, Kanu, and the four guardian felines, Sol, Hyperion, Luna, and Atriums in the harbor of Duel Academy as they see the helicopter carrying Rei, Aster, and Chancellor Sheppard land on the helicopter pad on the roof of the harbor's warehouse. After a few minutes, Chancellor Sheppard, our Sailor Senshi of Mars, and Destiny Hero welder comes down to meet our heroes and heroines.

 

Jaden asks Aster, “Hey, bro? What's up?”

 

Aster tells Jaden, “Dude, what are you and all of your friends doing here?”

 

Chazz retorts, in his usual tone, “What do you think we were doing, Phoenix? We were waiting for you!” Chazz then mutters, annoyed, “I don't know why I had to come along.”

 

Serena yells at Rei, annoyed, “Rei, what in the world were you thinking of flying off like that?!”

 

Rei replies, in her usual manner, “Chill out, Meatball Head! Aster had some problem with that asshole of a step-father of his and I rushed to try and help out!”

 

Michelle tells Rei, with her usual sly smile, “Don't worry, Rei, we understand.”

 

Rei asks Michelle, perplexed, “What do you mean by that?”

 

Lita tells Rei, in a sly tone, “Don't give us that, Rei. You know well what Michelle is talking about.”

 

Rei blushes a bright red and she exclaims, embarrassed with an annoyed tone in her voice, “Cut it out, Lita! Aster helped me out when three Society Goons attacked me and I couldn't transform! I wanted to return the favor that's all!”

 

Mindy tells Rei, with a sly smile and sly sarcastic tone, “Sure you did, Rei.”

 

Rei yells at Mindy, annoyed, “Mindy, you are as bad as Mina!”

 

Mindy tells Rei, with her sly smile, “We are both Sailor Scouts of Love after all.”

 

Mina tells her Zodiac counterpart, with her sly smile, “You know it, girlfriend.”

 

Atriums sighs and groans out, weakly, “Dealing with Mina was one thing, but dealing with her counterpart in the Zodiac Sailor Scouts, who is exactly like her . . . Oh boy.”

 

Mina and Mindy yell at Atriums in unison, with annoyed tone, “And what's that supposed to mean Atriums?!”

 

Atriums yelps in shock, Amara clears her throat, and says, in her plain tone, “Anyway, let's get back to the business at hand.”

 

Darien asks Rei, “Rei, what happened out there?”

 

Rei replies, nervously, “Well, Darien-kun, you see . . .” Rei looks at Aster, he sighs, and Aster nods his head causing Rei to look at her friends and allies and says, in a plain tone, “We found that `Ultimate Destiny card' that Aster was looking along with something else . . . actually, someone else: Aster's father.”

 

All of our heroes and heroines in front of Rei, Aster, and Chancellor Sheppard gasp in shock and Tyranno asks, stunned, “You found your real pappy Aster?”

 

Rei tells Tyranno in reply, “In a manner of speaking, Hassleberry.”

 

Syrus asks, curiously, “What happened?” Soon after, Rei and Aster then explained about what happened aboard The D's ship, the duel between The D and Aster, The D using Destiny-Hero Plasma against him, and learning about the horrible fate of Aster's father around ten years ago.

 

When they were done, our heroes and heroines were shocked to say that least and Serena says, horrified, “That's horrible.”

 

Alexis nods her head and tells Serena, “No kidding, Serena. I mean that same person that adopted Aster was the same one that took Aster's father away from him.”

 

Michelle asks, curiously, “I wonder how many innocent duelists had their souls taken from them when they dueled that monster, Amara?”

 

Amara tells Michelle, in her plain tone, “I hate to say it, Michelle, but since he has been the Pro League world champion for ten years, the numbers could be in the hundreds to thousands, even through he didn't duel for his title in four years.”

 

Darien asks Trista, “Could there have been a chance for their souls to be restored?”

 

Trista shakes her head and replies, in solemn tone, “No. Doctor Collector's body was most likely destroyed in the fire at the Kaiba Dome and the rest of The D's victims have had their souls separated from their bodies for too long. A body can only survive without its soul for a short period of time before it expires for good. Aster did the only thing that he could for all of those innocent people: Defeat that monster, purify of the evil of the Light of Destruction, and send their souls into the afterlife where they can rest in peace.”

 

Jaden tells Aster, in a solemn tone, “Wow, Aster. I'm sorry about your father.”

 

Aster tells Jaden, in a plain tone, “Thanks, Jay. But his honor has been avenged, his killer has been stopped, and his soul is free and can rest in peace. However, now, there is one thing that I have to do.”

 

Jaden asks Aster, “What is that, bro?”

 

Aster says, in a determined tone, “Defeat Sartorius and free him from the Light of Destruction, once and for all. My dad told me that true core of its evil lives inside of him and that his body is being controlled by this power hungry alien. Its simple math, dude. We defeat Sartorius and this madness ends, once and for all.”

 

Ami asks, in a curious tone, “How can we be so sure? What if the Light of Destruction tries to find another host with the remaining students under his control?”

 

Bastion was about to say something, but Mina exclaims, in her usual tone, “Simple, Ami! All we need to do is free the rest of student under that alien freak's control and then he will have no one to control!”

 

Rei tells Mina, with a sly smile, “I've got to say, Mina, you've come up with a good idea . . . for once.”

 

Mina replies, with her usual smile, “Thanks, Rei . . . I think.”

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, disappointed, “Rats. I wanted to suggest that idea.”

 

Serena gives a big yawn and says, a bit wearily, “Can we finish up that alien freak and his Society of Light some other time? I didn't get much sleep last night.”

 

Rei tells Serena, with her usual sarcastic tone, “Up all night with Darien, maybe, Meatball Head?”

 

Serena yells at Rei, very annoyed tone, “No, Pyro! While you were busy chasing Aster, I was protecting the world by defeating Prince Ojin, the one that started the whole satellite mess by giving the keys and controls to his satellite to Sartorius, in a duel!”

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks Serena, “Why would you be dueling Prince Ojin?”

 

Darien tells Chancellor Sheppard, “He was brainwashed by the Light of Destruction as well, sir. He sent him to get the satellite keys from Jaden and Serena, but Serena dueled and beat him. Jaden was originally the one who was going to duel him, but he had another duel to take care of.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks, curiously, “What other duel?” Syrus lowers his head and gives a solemn look in his expression.

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, reassuringly, “It's all right, Syrus-chan.”

 

Syrus tells Hotaru, solemnly, “I hope so, Hotaru.”

 

Alexis tells Chancellor Sheppard, in a plain tone, “We've got some bad news about Zane, Chancellor Sheppard.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks, worriedly, “What happened?”

 

Atticus tells Chancellor Sheppard, “It's . . . It's very complicated to explain, but Zane went from bad to becoming even worse.”

 

Chancellor Sheppard says, perplexed, “I don't understand.”

 

Alexis tells Chancellor Sheppard, with a solemn tone, “It is a long story.” Soon after, Jaden, Alexis, and Atticus explained about what happened between Zane, Queen Beryl, the Sacred Beasts, and the big duel between Jaden and Zane, who was using the Sacred Beasts and his Underground deck in one powerful dark deck.

 

When they were done with the story, Rei and Chancellor Sheppard gasp in shock and Chancellor Sheppard exclaims, horrified, “This is horrible! Are you saying that Zane is working with one of your enemies?!”

 

Trista tells Chancellor Sheppard, “Yes, Chancellor Sheppard. Queen Beryl of the Negaverse allied herself with Zane by making him an offer that his `darkened' heart couldn't refuse and together, they took the Sacred Beasts from their resting place and tried to use them to defeat Jaden as well as conquer all of Earth. However, Jaden defeated Zane and took back the Sacred Beast cards, but Queen Beryl escaped and taking Zane along with him. I fear that he has become part of the Negaverse now, willing or brainwashed.”

 

Jasmine says, annoyed, “This is getting ridiculous! First, we have that alien freak and his Society of Light giving us headaches and now that old witch comes back to give us even more!”

 

Kanu tells Jasmine, plainly, “What do you expect evil madman and villainess to be like, Jasmine?”

 

Chancellor Sheppard asks our heroes and heroines, concerned, “Is there anything that we can do for Zane?”

 

Amara tells Chancellor Sheppard, in her plain tone, “We are not sure. We don't where Queen Beryl's current base is, through it is most likely nearby, so, we can't find Zane that.”

 

Michelle tells Chancellor Sheppard, in a plain tone, “And I'm sorry to say this, Chancellor Sheppard, but even if Serena uses her Silver Crystal to `heal' Zane of his mind-control, if he is under any by Beryl, we aren't sure that she can `heal' the darkness within his `blackened' heart.”

 

Syrus gives a greater sigh then before and Hotaru tells Syrus, reassuringly, “Don't worry, Syrus-chan, Serena-hime and all of us will do what we can to get your brother back.”

 

Syrus gives a weak smile and tells Hotaru, “Thanks, Hotaru.”

 

Hotaru replies, with her kind smile on her lips, “No problem, Syrus-chan. It is what we do after all.” Syrus couldn't help to blush at Hotaru's smile and Mina couldn't help to notice that little `exchange' between Syrus and our Sailor Soldier of Saturn causing her to get a bit of a sly grin on her lips.

 

Darien then says, in a plain tone, “However, Serena does bring up a good point. All of us, especially Serena, Jaden, and Aster, have had a long night and I believe that it would be best that they take a breather for now.”

 

Aster says, plainly, “Whatever. I don't care what all of you do. I've got a promise to fulfill to Sartorius. I promised that if that I would save him from whatever evil that took control of him and I plan to do just that.”

 

Jaden asks Aster, surprised, “Whoa, bro! You don't intend to face Sartorius right now, are you?!”

 

Aster tells Jaden, in a serious tone, “What do you think, Jaden?”

 

Rei tells Aster, “No way, Aster! All of us just got back and you are still worn out from that duel with The D! You might have gotten your father's card back, but you need to be at your best to face that alien freak!”

 

Alexis tells Aster, “Rei's right, Aster. Since Serena, Jaden, and you are the only ones that can stop him, you need to be at your best to face him.”

 

Tyranno nods his head and states, “Private `Lexy is right, Aster. You can't just storm in there and face Sartorius with worn out troops. You need time to recover and regroup from your last battle. Plus, what if the remaining group of Sartorius' Society Dorks comes up to face you?”

 

Chazz then says, in his usual tone, “You don't need to worry about that.” Everyone then looks as Chazz walks off into the distance.

 

Jasmine asks Chazz, “Where are you going?”

 

Chazz replies, in a plain tone, “I've got better things to do than to hangout with all of you. I've got to repay that asshole for using The Chazz as his little puppet and plus, there is a tournament to win. Later.” Chazz then continues to walk off into the distance and preparing to `hunt down' the remaining members of the Society of Light.

 

Lita huffs and says, annoyed, “Man! What is that guy's problem? He is really a pain sometimes.”

 

Jaden tells Lita, with his usual smile, “That's the way that Chazz is. But he is a good person when you get to know him.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, “And just plain weird if you know what I mean.”

 

Mindy tells Alexis, “I hear you, `Lex.”

 

Syrus tells everyone, “You know someone should keep an eye on him. Just in case Sartorius tries to brainwash him, again.”

 

Alexis tells Syrus, “I hate to say, but that's a good idea.” Alexis tells Jasmine, “Jasmine, can you keep an eye on him?”

 

Jasmine retorts, in shock, “What?! Why me?”

 

Sol tells Jasmine, “I think that you should agree to this since your princess have given you an order, Jasmine.”

 

Alexis tells Sol, a bit annoyed, “Sol, I didn't say it was an order.”

 

Jasmine tells Alexis, “It's okay, `Lex. I'll handle it.” Jasmine then heads off to follow Chazz and make sure that he stayed safe.

 

Alexis tells Sol, shaking her head and slight annoyed tone in her voice, “Sometimes I wonder what I am going to do with you.”

 

Serena whispers to Alexis, “Now, you know how I feel about Luna sometimes.”

 

However, Luna overhears Serena's `comment' to Alexis, she gives a cat-like hiss, and Luna exclaims, really annoyed tone in her voice, “I heard that, Serena!” Serena yelps back in surprise and gives a nervous laugh at this.

 

Darien then says, clearing his throat, “Anyway, I believe that we should take a breather . . . at least to allow Serena, Jaden, and Aster to recover from their duels during the pervious evening, so, they will be ready for the duel ahead.”

 

Ami nods her head in agreement and she says, in her logical tone, “That's a good idea, Darien. We need them to be in top condition if they are going to defeat the Light of Destruction.”

 

Serena tells Ami, a bit drolly, “No pressure, huh, Ami?”

 

Just then a loud `growl' is heard from Jaden's stomach and he replies, nervously, “Whoops. I almost forgot that I didn't have breakfast this morning.”

 

Alexis says, with a smile, “Oh, Jaden. What are we going to do with you?”

 

Rei sighs and states, in her usual tone, “Well, it is like they say: `Like sister, like brother'. You and Jaden are too much alike, Meatball Head.”

 

Serena replies, in a serious tone, “Jaden and I might be a lot alike, Pyro, but we aren't too much alike.” Just then Serena's stomach gives a loud growl of its own, she puts her hands on her stomach, blushes in embarrassment, and she says, nervously, “Oops.” All of Serena's human friends give sly or nervous smiles at this while Luna gives a nervous sweatdrop at this.

 

Rei tells Serena, with a sly grin, “You were saying, Serena.”

 

Serena yells out at Rei, annoyed and embarrassed, “Cut it out, Rei!”

 

Aster tells Jaden, with a sly tone and smile, “I've got to say, bro. You've got one heck a family tree.” All of our heroes and heroines along with Chancellor Sheppard then head off into the distance towards the Slifer Red dorm, but Bastion gives a slight sigh that is only noticed by Ami and she also notices the solemn look in his expression. However, what our heroes and heroines didn't notice is that Jadeite, using binoculars and keeping his distance so Rei's, Amara's, and Jasmine's spiritual senses, is watching them, especially our genius duelist and noticing the solemn look in his expression.

 

(Inside of Queen Beryl's base; Sometime later)

 

Within Queen Beryl's base, somewhere within the area of Academy Island, we find Queen Beryl sitting down on her black throne in front of her crystal specter while looking down on Zane, wearing a black version of the General's uniform and having a cold and expressionless look in his eyes.

 

Queen Beryl asks Zane, with an evil smile on her lips, “Welcome to the forces of the Negaverse, General Zane.”

 

Zane bows in front of Queen Beryl and replies, in a cold and emotionless tone, “It is an honor to serve you, my queen.”

 

Queen Beryl thinks in her mind, with an evil grin, “Excellent. The brainwashing process is complete. This duelist believed that winning is all and his defeat by that rotten son of Queen Serenity made it more easier to get to him. Now, I've got the perfect new general for my forces. Ruthless, relentless, and believes in nothing, but victory.” Queen Beryl tells Zane, “Zane, your mission will be to defeat your former schoolmate and ally, the Moon Prince, Jaden Yuki, and his sister, that bratty Moon Princess, Serena Tsukino also known as Sailor Moon.”

 

Zane says, with evil sly grin on his lips, “It will be my pleasure, my queen.”

 

Queen Beryl thinks in her mind, evilly, “Excellent. The anger and rage against that male moon brat from the defeat that he just handed me makes him more willing to carry out my words because he would love nothing more to destroy those that defeated him.”

 

(On the beach; in the late morning hours)

 

During the late morning hours, we find Jaden, wearing grey t-shirt and red swimming trunks, and Alexis, wearing a blue bikini bathing suit with a grey shirt hanging over her shoulders and the bikini bathing suit covering her up, walking down to the beach each of them holding a beach towel. The two of them are at the beach today to rest and relax from the whole `saving the world' business and prepare for the future duels and battle with the Light of Destruction and the Society of Light along with Queen Beryl and the Negaverse, which will most likely include Zane as well.

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with his usual smile, “Pretty sweet morning, isn't it, `Lex.”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with her usual smile, “I've got to say that you are right, Jaden. Glad that we decided to take a breather from saving the world.”

 

Jaden nods his head and replies, with his usual smile, “Yeah, am I ever, Alexis. This whole `saving the world' business can really wear a guy down. I wonder how sister really took a whole year of this with new enemies seemly popping out of the woodwork to conquer or destroy the world.”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Well, I can tell you that it isn't easy, Jaden!” Jaden and Alexis quickly look to the source of the voice to see Serena, wearing a beautiful pink bikini bathing suit, relaxing on a beach chair, with Darien, wearing a pair of black bathing trunks and light grey suit, lying down in another beach chair beside his beloved.

 

Jaden and Alexis comes up to them and Jaden says, with a smile, “It looks like that we weren't the only ones with the same idea, huh?”

 

Serena nods her head and replies, with her usual smile, “Yep!”

 

Alexis asks Jaden, “Where's that `cousin' of yours, Rini?”

 

Serena replies, with a sigh and a smile, “She is back at the Slifer Red dorm with Hotaru and Syrus. They are relaxing and having some fun playing some practice duels.”

 

Alexis says, with a smile, “I can't believe that she is yours and Darien's daughter from the future, but then again, I can see how. You, too, look so much alike.”

 

Serena says, with a snort, “No way! That little tart and I are nothing alike!”

 

Jaden tells Serena, with his usual sly smile, “I don't know, sis. My future niece and you hold quite the resemblance.”

 

Serena tells Jaden, in disbelief, “Whose side are you on, Jaden?!”

 

Alexis tells Serena, with a sly grin on her lips, “My side, Serena! And don't you forget it!”

 

Serena let's out an annoyed moan and Darien tells Serena, with a loving smile and tone, “Oh, Serena. We are supposed to enjoying ourselves.”

 

Serena sighs and replies, “Yeah, you are right, Darien.” Soon after, Jaden and Alexis set their towels some distance from Serena and Darien, Alexis throws off the shirt covering her bikini-clad form, and then Jaden and Alexis run off to the water. Serena calls out, in a curious tone, “Where are you and Alexis off to Jay?!”

 

Jaden tells Serena, with his usual smile on his lips, “Are you kidding, Serena? Sweet clear and sunny day, nice warm weather, and one awesome beach! What do you think?!” Soon enough, Jaden and Alexis leap into the water and Jaden then gets a sly smile as he uses a bit of his Lunarian magic to splash a good sized amount of water into Alexis' face.

 

Alexis spits out some water from her mouth and exclaims, with a sly smile on her lips, “Oh, you are going to get it, now, Jaden Yuki!”

 

Jaden tells Alexis, with a wide sly grin from her lips, “I don't think so, `Lex. Because that was priceless!”

 

Alexis tells Jaden, with a sly grin on her lips, “We'll see about that!” Jaden then sees Alexis running towards him and quickly Jaden takes to his heels, running away from his girlfriend/lover, but it was no use when Alexis catches up to him and dunk him in the water, but Jaden drags Alexis into the water and the two of them have an intense `contest' of dunking each other into the water.

 

Darien says, with a sly smile, “Those two seem perfect for each other.”

 

Serena tells Darien, with a smile on her lips, “Yes, they make a wonderful couple, Darien-chan. I'm so glad that I found out that Jaden is my brother. He and I can relate very well to each other.”

 

Darien tells Serena, with a sly smile, “Because, despite what you think, Jaden and you are so much alike, but then again, I shouldn't be surprised. You are the children of Queen Serenity and both of you are as pure hearted, kind, caring, loyal, and strong as they come.”

 

Serena tells Darien, with a loving tone, “Oh, Darien.” Serena gives a sigh and says, with a smile, “I hate to admit it, but Rei is right. Jaden and I are too much alike and expect for Jaden being a boy with different hair and eye color in both our Earthling and Lunarian forms, you can say that we are exactly alike and it is pretty scary, but a bit comforting in a way knowing that I have someone else other than that pink terror that I can relate to.”

 

Darien sighs about Serena's `comment' about Rini and he tells Serena, “By the way, how is Jaden since he knows that his future niece is here?”

 

Serena tells Darien, “Needless to say, Darien, he was `freaked out' as it were at first, but he is kind of getting use to `weird things' happening to him. However, Syrus is still quite freaked out about it, but then again, he is quite the shy and nervous type.”

 

Darien tells Serena, nodding his head, “Kind of like Hotaru is. Didn't you notice how Hotaru and Syrus are getting closer lately?”

 

Serena nods her head and says, “Yeah. Ever since Syrus got beaten up by his older brother, who has turned into a real jerk, Hotaru and Syrus have become close.” Serena then asks Darien, very curiously, “Darien, do you think?”

 

Darien tells Serena, with a smile, “I think so. And I think that it is great that the two of them would get together.”

 

Serena asks Darien, curiously, “Darien, have you remember anything else from our past lives in the Moon Kingdom or the Silver Millennium?”

 

Darien shakes his head and he asks, curiously, “No, Serena. Why do you ask?”

 

Serena tells Darien, “I've talked to Trista and I've learned that Atticus is Alexis' older twin brother from the Sun Kingdom, but he gave up the throne to Alexis, when she proved a better warrior than him. Plus, I've learned that Jaden had a court of his own warriors to protect him like the girls protected me.”

 

Darien asks Serena, curiously, “Do you think that Jaden's friends here in Duel Academy could be members of your brother's court?”

 

Serena tells Darien, “Trista told me that it is great possibility. Trista told me something else that she told me that I can't tell Jaden, not yet.”

 

Darien asks Serena, curiously, “Is Jaden going to be a ruler of a kingdom in the future like you and I will be?”

 

Serena nods her head and replies, in a serious tone, “That's right. Remember, since Atticus gave up the rights to the throne back in the Silver Millennium, Alexis is the heir to the throne of the Sun Kingdom and the Golden Alliance and like my people, the people of the moon, the people of the Sun Kingdom were also sent to Earth and Trista told me that in the universe there is balance and the sun and the moon are part of that balance. So, in order for the future Moon Kingdom, Crystal Tokyo, to exist, Alexis and Jaden are going to have to create a brand new Sun Kingdom.”

 

Darien nods his head and says, looking at Alexis and Jaden while trying to splash and dunk each other into the water, “I see. So, they have to become rulers like you and I will have to be one day. I can understand why Trista didn't want them to know yet.”

 

Serena tells Darien, with a smile, “Trista told me that they already had enough headaches thanks to the Light of Destruction and that they deserve some peace and time to enjoy themselves and life.”

 

Darien tells Serena, “But they are going to need to know sometime. When do you think that we should tell them?”

 

Serena sighs and says, “I wish I knew, Darien-chan.”

 

Darien tells Serena, lovingly, “Well, I trust you, love. I know that you will tell them exactly when the time is right.”

 

Serena tells Darien, with a loving tone, “Thank you, Darien.” Darien and Serena leap closer together and share a passionate kiss, but then quickly break off when they hear a loud shriek from a female voice. They look to the source of the voice to see Alexis holding her arms over her chest, namely her breasts, since they are exposed since Jaden took her blue bikini top off, and drop down into the blue water to cover herself even more.

 

Alexis yells out, very annoyed, “Jaden Yuki, you are going to pay for that!”

 

Jaden, holding Alexis' bikini top in his right hand and is swimming some distance away from Alexis, tells Alexis, with a sly grin, “Sorry, `Lex, but all's fair in love and war!”

 

Alexis says, with a sly smile, “Oh, really . . .” Alexis then takes a deep breath and holds it as she goes under the water. Jaden yelps in shock and surprise as he continues to swim away and looking around him, looking for any sign of his girlfriend, but then he yelps again as he is dragged under the water. Soon after, a huge splash comes from the water as Alexis and Jaden come to the surface with Alexis struggling with Jaden to get her bikini top back. The struggles causes them to end up to wash up back on the beach near the waterline with Jaden's back on the sand with Alexis on top of him, her bare breasts molding on Jaden's chest, and the two of them greatly blush from that position for a minute or two. Soon after, unable to control themselves, Jaden and Alexis then move their lips closer to each other until they are locked in a passionate kiss and Jaden wrap his arms around her back, gently massaging it.

 

Just then Serena's voice calls out, with an excited giggle, “Get a room, you two!” Jaden and Alexis break from the kiss and turn their heads to see Serena gives a wide sly smile from her lips while Darien holds a book to his eyes to make sure he doesn't see Alexis' partially nude form. The two of them greatly blush from this situation and Alexis quickly gets her bikini top and puts it back on.

 

(Within Duel Academy's `wading pool'; Sometime later)

 

Inside of Duel Academy's `wading pool', namely its man-made hot spring pool, we find Atticus Rhodes, sitting down on a rock in the middle of the man-made hot spring, with towel wrapped around his lower chest and waist, covering his groin, but exposing his muscular arms, legs, and chest. His body, arms, and legs are well-develops, not too muscular and not an inch of flab on his body, and he gives a great sigh.

 

Atticus thinks in his mind, “Zane, what in the hell did you get yourself into? You ally yourself with one of Sailor Moon's greatest foes and now, you might have become one of her brainwashed generals. I thought that I knew you, Zane, but now, I don't know who you are anymore. Syrus is really strung up about this and I can't blame the little dude. How can anyone transform so radically?”

 

Just then a familiar female voice calls out, “Penny for your thoughts, Atticus-sempai?” Atticus yelps out in shock and looks to see Mina's head in the hot spring water, looking at him with a sly smile on her lips.

 

Atticus yells out, in shock, “Mina, what in the world are you doing here?!”

 

Mina tells Atticus, curiously, “I should be asking you the same thing. Don't Obelisks have their own personal pools and hot springs?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, “Remember, Mina, even through they are just a `shadow' of their former selves, the Society of Light still controls of the Obelisk Blue dorms, guys and girls?”

 

Mina replies, nervously, “Oh, right. Oops.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, “Now, Mina, why are doing around here?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, “Isn't this supposed be free for all students?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, “Yes, it is, but guys and girls aren't supposed to be in the same `wading pool', you know.”

 

Mina replies, with a sly smile, “Well, I won't tell if you won't.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a smile, “You are really something else, Mina.”

 

Mina replies, with a sly smile and sly tone, “And don't you forget it, Atticus-sempai.” Mina then gets out of the water and reveals that she is only wearing dark yellow bikini bathing suit on her and allowing much of her sexy and seductive form to Atticus. Atticus blushes greatly from this and fights hard not to get a major boner and Mina notices this, asking him, in a sly tone, “See something that you like, Atticus-sempai?”

 

Atticus replies, nervously, “I . . . Uh . . . I . . . Nice view . . . I mean . . .”

 

Mina then sly gets onto the man-made rock in the hot spring causing him to blush even more and she asks, slyly, “What do you by that Atticus-sempai?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, shuttering nervously, “Well, Mina . . . what I mean about that . . . is . . .” However, Atticus doesn't get a chance to finish when Mina slips, lands on Atticus, and both of them yell out in shock and surprise as they fall into the hot spring pool with a large splash. When we get a good view of them, we find Atticus and Mina lips locked together and both of them blush in embarrassment, quickly separating their lips as quickly as possible.

 

Mina and Atticus call out in unison, “I'm sorry!” The two of them then look at each other right in their eyes and for some reason, they can't break eye contact with each other. Soon after, the symbol of Venus appears on Mina's forehead while Atticus' forehead gains the sun sigil, their eyes become glazed over, and new memories flow into their minds as a flashbacks to another time `appear' in their memories . . .

 

Flashback; Sometime before the end of the Silver Millennium

 

Now, we find ourselves in the Moon Kingdom sometime before the end of the Silver Millennium where we find Sailor Venus, in her `classical uniform', watching Princess Serenity in the field of white roses and Prince Judai with Princess Arinna as they are walking around in another area of the same field of white roses. Sailor Venus elected to stay with the Moon Princess and her brother while the other Inner Sailor Scouts, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter, took care of other important matters within the palace, but they said that they would join her shortly.

 

Sailor Venus looks to see Princess Serenity being joined by Prince Endymon, takes a deep sigh, and she says to herself, with a weak smile on her lips, “Her majesty has really an incredible soulmate. I can tell that they really love each other. And Princess Arinna and Prince Judai are a close pair, too. They will really be a great couple, too. And with these alliances, the future for Earth, the Moon, and the Sun look so bright, but from what I hear Prince Endymon and his advisors are telling us, there is an evil on Earth brewing that could spell doom for us, all.” Sailor Venus takes another deep sigh and watch the two couples spend their times together in the field of white roses, but with a bit of a solemn look on her expression.

 

After a minute of watching them, Sailor Venus then hears a male voice call out behind her, “Hey, there! What's a cute like you doing out here with that kind of expression on your face?” Sailor Venus whips around into a defense position towards the source of the voice to find a young man looking around the same age as Princess Arinna with Atticus Rhodes hairstyle with shimmering golden blond hair, the sun sigil mark on his forehead, Atticus Rhodes' brown eyes, and wearing a icy-blue version of Prince Endymon's uniform with golden version of Prince Endymon's battle armor along with a brown belt across his waist with a golden buckle with the sun sigil embrace on it and the belt contained a sheath for the sword with a black and gold hilt with a golden and red sun sigil on the top center portion of the hilt with a beautiful silver blade with ancient words engraved on the blade.

 

Sailor Venus asks, in a demanding tone, “Who are you? What are you doing here?”

 

The young man replies, in a similar voice to Atticus Rhodes' voice, “Hold on, my lady! The name is Prince Apollo the fourth, I'm the elder twin brother to Princess Arinna. You've heard of me, haven't you?”

 

Sailor Venus lowers her guard somewhat and replies, “Oh, yeah. Princess Arinna told me about you and she also mentioned that even through that you were the older sibling, you gave up the rights to the throne to the kingdom to your sister. What are you doing around here?”

 

Prince Apollo replies, “My mom, Queen Sol, had my father, King Apollo the third, send me over here to establish even closer relations between our two kingdoms if I get to know the Moon Kingdom along with the planetary kingdoms better.”

 

Sailor Venus asks Prince Apollo, “Why did you sneak up on me anyway?”

 

Prince Apollo replies, blush in embarrassment, “Sorry about that, but I was wondering why a cute girl like you was standing all alone like that.”

 

Sailor Venus blushes from the `cute girl' comment, quickly regains her composer, and tells Prince Apollo, trying to sound serious, “I was doing my duty of protecting my princess and her brother.” Prince Apollo walks over to Sailor Venus' right side and Sailor Venus thinks in her mind, “Wow. Princess Arinna has a cute brother.” Sailor Venus shakes her head and continues to look ahead of them at Prince Endymon and Princess Serenity as well as Prince Judai and Princess Arinna.

 

Prince Apollo asks Sailor Venus, “So, the princess in white is the one that you guard? Princess Serenity?”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, “Yep, she is the one that I'm duty-bound to guard as the leader of the Inner Sailor Scouts of the Moon Kingdom by the rules set for in the Silver Alliance. With her is Earth representative, Prince Endymon, and he is trying to negotiate peace between the Earth and the Moon.”

 

Prince Apollo asks Sailor Venus, with a smile, “Let me guess: They are in love?”

 

Sailor Venus yelps out in surprise and asks, shocked, “How did you know that?”

 

Prince Apollo replies, with a wide smile, “I can tell. The closeness, the blushes on your princess' face, and the warmth between the two. It is so obvious. However, you already knew because you are the Sailor Senshi of Venus. I'm told that people of Venus are linked with the goddess of love, Aphrodite, and members of the royal family of Venus can sense the bonds of love that form. However, I've also heard that they are very passionate lovers . . . maybe a bit too much.”

 

Sailor Venus replies, with a slight blush, “Well, we are the children of the great goddess of love, Aphrodite.”

 

Prince Apollo looks to see Prince Judai with Princess Arinna and Prince Apollo yells out, shocked, “Hold up! Who is that guy with my sister?”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, with a smile, “Calm down. That's just Princess Serenity's brother, Prince Judai, with your sister. She's just fine with him.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, “Actually, I'm not worried for my sister. I was worried for your prince.”

 

Sailor Venus asks Prince Apollo, curiously, “Why is that?”

 

Prince Apollo says, with a sly smirk, “My sister has got a reputation for . . . rejecting every male suitor that comes to claim her hand in marriage, if they are lucky.”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, perplexed, “If they are lucky?”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, “Let me put to you this way, my lady. The last person that called my sister who called her `cutie' never made out of the door in the room he was in. Personally, I keep wondering what happened to him.”

 

Sailor Venus replies, nervously, “Yipe.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, with a smile, “That's my sister. She is strong, proud, independent, and can kick the ass of anyone that tries to take her on or get her mad, male or female. She is a true and honorable, however, which makes her a true warrior of the Sun Kingdom from the royal family and a perfect heir to the throne.”

 

Sailor Venus asks Prince Apollo, curiously, “What do you mean by that your majesty? Aren't you a warrior?”

 

Prince Apollo replies, with a sly smile on his lips, “I'm a pretty good warrior, but not as much as my little sister. The heir to the throne of the Sun Kingdom isn't only chosen by blood and which of the children were born first, but it is abilities of a warrior and a leader. I'm good in those areas, but my sister is far better than me and if I knew that. There is a test in my home kingdom that helps to determine who is the best choice to rule the Sun Kingdom if there are twins even born and even through I was born several minutes before my sister, Arinna and I would still go and perform this test.”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, “So, that's why you gave up the throne to your younger twin.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, with a sly smile, “Yep, but Arinna and I are very close and I care for her a lot. I didn't want succession to the throne to come between us and I knew that when it comes to ruling our home kingdom, she was the best choice, so, I stood down.”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, with a kind smile, “That was a very considerate and nice thing to do as well as wise, your majesty.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, with a sly smile, “Thank you. But what amaze me that your prince can be so close to my sister and not even get a hint of suspicion from her. I think that for the first time, I think my sister has got a crush on someone and it isn't easy to impress my sister.”

 

Sailor Venus tells Prince Apollo, with a smile, “Prince Judai would appreciate your comments, your majesty.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, with Atticus' sly smile, “Please, call me `Apollo', okay?”

 

Sailor Venus blushes at Prince Apollo's smile and replies, “Sure, y-I mean Apollo.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Sailor Venus, with Atticus' wide smile, “Anyway, why don't you tell about yourself and your kingdom? I would like to get to know you better.”

 

Sailor Venus replies, excitedly, “Sure!” Soon enough, a conversation between Sailor Venus and Prince Apollo started up as they continued to watch Prince Endymon and Princess Serenity with Prince Judai and Princess Arinna.

 

Flashback; at a royalball inside of Moon Kingdom near the end of the Silver Millennium

 

Inside of the Moon Kingdom Palace, we find our Princess of Venus with a sparkling pink bow on the top center portion of the rear of her scalp, a yellow mask over her eyes, and wearing a beautiful sparkling yellow princess gown with yellowish-orange silk gloves over her hands and goes to her elbows along with a golden necklace with a silver jewel in the shape of the symbol of Venus in the center of the necklace across his neck and collarbone.

 

Just then our Princess of Venus notices someone near her, find Prince Apollo in a deep blue and black formal suit for a royal ball, black mask over his eyes, and he says, with a smile on his lips, “May I have this dance, my lady?”

 

Princess Mina replies, with a blush on her cheeks, “Sure.” Prince Apollo takes Princess Mina by the right hand, causing our Venusian Princess to blush even more, and the two of them go into the audience and dance with the other guest at the ball.

 

After a few minutes, Prince Apollo tells Princess Mina, with a sly smile, “You look very beautiful tonight.”

 

Princess Mina tells Prince Apollo, with a blush, “Thank you, but I don't think I'm your type.”

 

Prince Apollo tells Princess Mina, with a smile, “I see that you've heard how the ladies instantly fall in love with me when they see me. I'm not much of a warrior as my sister, but as a charmer and involving affairs in love, I'm no one's equal. I guess that it was a trade off in the family. I've got the really good looks and the charmer while my sister is the warrior.” Princess Apollo then tells Princess Mina, with a smile, “However, I must tell you that out of the women that I've seen in my life, I've never seen one as beautiful as you.”

 

Princess Mina asks, with a wide blush on her cheeks, “Do you really mean it?”

 

Prince Apollo tells Princess Mina, with a smile, “Would a face like this lie to you, my dear? You are truly as lovely as your homeworld's deity. I think that the goddess Aphrodite would be jealous that one of her daughters rivals her in such beauty.” Princess Mina gives such a wide blush that her cheeks become really red like strawberry. Soon enough, the two of them were dancing the night away while others continued to watch, including Princess Arinna and Princess Serenity, who are with Prince Judai and Prince Endymon, and all four of them had smiles on their lips, especially Princess Arinna.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

Back in the present, we find ourselves back in Duel Academy's hot spring's `wading pool' where Mina and Atticus regain their senses and they look at each other with shock and surprise.

 

Mina asks Atticus, “Atticus, did you . . .?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, nodding his head, “Yes . . . I remember part of my life as Alexis' older twin brother, Prince Apollo of the Sun Kingdom, and when we met.”

 

Mina asks Atticus, with a blush on her cheeks, “So, do you remember the ball in the Moon Kingdom?”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a sly smile, “Yes, I do. And like I said before, Aphrodite would be jealous of your beauty.”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a blush in her cheeks and a giggle, “Oh, Atticus-sempai.”

 

Atticus tells Mina, with a sly smile, “Just call me `Atticus', okay?”

 

Mina tells Atticus, with a sly smile on her own, “Okay . . . Atticus.”

 

(Back inside of the Slifer Red dorms; A short time soon after)

 

Inside of the Slifer Red dorms, namely Jaden's room with Syrus and Tyranno, we find Lita Kino and Tyranno Hassleberry having a duel between each other, but they are using the old fashion dueling with `dueling boards' because using their duel disks in the small dorm room would be a bad idea. Lita has her Unfriendly Amazon (2000/1600) and Amazoness Swordswoman (1500/1600) in attack mode with two cards face-down as well as 1500 life-points left while Tyranno has no monsters, no face-down cards, but he has one Big Evolution Pill spell card on the field and it has been on the field for two of Lita's turns, and 2000 life-points left, but it is his turn and he has draw one card from his deck.

 

Tyranno puts his Earthquake spell card on the dueling mats' spell/trap zones and Tyranno calls out, “All right, ma'am! I play my Earthquake spell! Now, all of your monsters now switch to defense mode!” Lita switches her two Amazons from attack to defense position.

 

Lita asks Tyranno, “What is the point of that?”

 

Tyranno puts his Black Tyranno (2600/1800) on the field in attack mode and he says, “Here comes the reason, Lita! Thanks to my Big Evolution Pill, I can summon Black Tyranno to the field without sacrificing any other troops!” Tyranno tells Lita, with a smile, “And thanks to this card, since your monsters are in defense mode, Black Tyranno can by-pass them and attack you directly! And that's what he is going to do!”

 

Lita flips over one of her face-down card, revealing her Ring of Destruction trap card, and Lita tells Tyranno, with a smile, “Sorry, big boy, but I play my Ring of Destruction! Now, it destroys your Black Tyranno and we lose life-points equal to its attack points!”

 

Tyranno asks, perplexed, “What is the point of that? Both of us will lose the rest of our life-points, ma'am.”

 

Lita flips over the second face-down on her `field', revealing her Ring of Defense Quick-spell card, and she says, with a sly smile, “Not with this card. Ring of Defense will keep my life-points safe while yours go down to zip!”

 

Tyranno exclaims, “Oh no!” Tyranno lowers his head in defeat as his final life-points are taken by the effect of Ring of Destruction while Lita's life-points are safe, thanks to Ring of Defense's effect.

 

With the duel's end, Tyranno and Lita reshuffle their decks and Lita tells Tyranno, with a smile, “Hey, don't look so bad, Hassleberry! You really did awesome! I had a real fun time!”

 

Tyranno tells Lita, in a weak smile, “Thanks, Lita. That was a pretty good battle. You are a good duelist yourself.”

 

Lita tells Tyranno, “Well, my friends and I started playing the game before we even met each other and after we met, we dueled each other and got even better. I never really did get much chance to duel because I didn't have any parents since they died in that plane crash. But after meeting Serena and the others, I had a lot of chances to practice and I got really good.”

 

Tyranno tells Lita, “Wow. You lost your family like Aster did.”

 

Lita nods her head and says, with a weak smile, “Yeah, I did. When I was really young and I never had any friends since I had `reputation' as a street fighter. But after Serena came along, I had the rest of the Sailor Scouts, who I consider also my family. Now, I'm never alone because I've got my fellow scouts on my side.”

 

Tyranno sheds a few tears and says, “Sorry, I'm sucker for happy endings.”

 

Lita tells Tyranno, with a smile, “Oh, Hassleberry. Want to duel again?”

 

Tyranno tells Lita, with a sly grin, “You sure? This time, I might be even harder to defeat.”

 

Lita tells Tyranno, with a sly grin of her own, “I'm like your friend, Jaden. I'm always up for a challenge.” The two of them reshuffle their decks, put them in their respective `slots' on the dueling mats, but then Tyranno's right hand and Lita's right hand touch each other and both of them blush from the moment.

 

After three seconds, they jerk their hands away from each other and Tyranno exclaims, with a wide blush and a nervous tone, “Um . . . Really sorry for that ma'am!”

 

Lita tells Tyranno, with a nervous blush on her cheeks, “No! It was my fault!” Lita thinks in her mind, “He might be a bit weird, but he is really nice and a good person. Plus, he does look a little like my old boyfriend and he is real hunk with those biceps. But then again, with some so military-like, you shouldn't be surprised. Part of me hopes that he doesn't have a boyfriend and another part of me feels . . . feels like we've met before. What is this feeling?” Soon enough, Lita and Tyranno regain their composer and prepare for their rematch.

 

(A brief time later; Inside of the main building of Duel Academy)

 

Within the main building of Duel Academy, we find Rei and Aster walking down the halls of the main building of Duel Academy passing by Slifer Red, Ra Yellow, Obelisk Blue, and occasion white-clad students, who give the two of them cold glares, but they don't pay any attention to the glares of the white-clad students.

 

Aster says, with a sly grin on his lips, “It looks like that we aren't popular with any white-clad students.”

 

Rei tells Aster, “Well, with Serena, Jaden, all of our friends, and the non-brainwashed students of Duel Academy reducing their numbers down to a `shadow' of their former selves, I'm surprised that cold glare is all that we are getting. With Jaden and Serena being the main pain the neck for them and their damned `Master', anyone `connected' with them is a target for them.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “Well, Jaden and your princess have been giving them and Sartorius one headache after another.”

 

Rei asks Aster, curiously, “So, Aster, you are really going to go through with that duel with Sartorius?”

 

Aster tells Rei, seriously, “I have to, Rei. Long ago, I promised Sartorius long ago that I would save him from whatever evil that took him over and with Destiny Hero-Plasma and D-Force in my deck, I can face him and his Arcana Force deck. I made him a promise and I will not go back on my word.”

 

Rei tells Aster, “I understand, Aster. If I was possessed by an evil force, Serena would come with the others to get me back no matter what.”

 

Aster tells Rei, “You and your friends must be close.”

 

Rei nods her head and says, “Yeah, Serena might be a Meatball Head, but she is the best friend that I ever had. Before I met her, I was left at my Grandpa's shrine by my asshole father after my mother died and I decide to become a full-fledged miko. Soon after, I sent to a private school with some snotty brats who praised me for my special spiritual abilities publicly while talked behind my back. However, when Serena came along, all that changed, I gained a group of great friends and Serena might be a Meatball Head, but she became like a sister to me.”

 

Aster nods his head and says, a bit nervously, “You are quite lucky.”

 

Rei nods her head and says, “Yeah, I guess I am.”

 

Aster asks Rei, curiously, “By the way, Rei, how did you know that I was in danger from The D?”

 

Rei replies, blushing slightly, “I had a vision of you in danger from that duel and I rushed over to help you.”

 

Aster asks Rei, curiously, “You rushed to help me?”

 

Rei replies, nervously and with a blush on his cheeks, “Well, you helped me with those two Society Dorks when they surprised me . . . so . . . you know?”

 

Aster replies, with a sly smile, “I see.”

 

Rei asks Aster, with an annoyed tone, “And what's that supposed to mean?”

 

Aster tells Rei, with a sly smile, “Nothing really. Anyway, I'm really glad you came to try and help.”

 

Rei tells Aster, with a blush, “You're welcome, but don't make anything of it.”

 

Aster nods his head and replies, “Gotcha.”

 

Rei asks Aster, with a slight blush on his cheeks, “Aster, can you make me a promise?”

 

Aster replies, curiously, “What?”

 

Rei tells Aster, “Just promise me that you will . . . be careful, okay?”

 

Aster's eyes widen at Rei's question and he replies, with a smile, “Sure, I will. Anyway, you want to get see if there are any duels around?”

 

Rei nods her head and replies, “Okay.” Soon enough, the two of them head off to see if there were any good dueling going on since the tournament was still in full swing.

 

(On the meanwhile; Within the Ra Yellow dorm)

 

However, in the Ra Yellow dorms, we find one Bastion Misawa writing on his dorm room walls and working intensely on formulas for spell, trap, and monster cards for his dueling decks.

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, solemnly, “Even through I've helped keep Duel Academy safe with the organization of the Student Council until Chancellor Sheppard made his return and aided Ami in that duel with those Society members, but in terms of overall achievement and improved abilities, I am nowhere close to Serena or Jaden. With every single duel, they get stronger and better duelists. Jaden's duel with Zane against the Sacred Beasts shows that. During the first duel with the Sacred Beasts, Jaden managed to win with Professor Banner's special spell card giving Jaden what he needed even through Jaden knew how to use effectively. Now, with this duel, Jaden beat the Sacred Beasts, even when they were fused together, with the power of his stronger `Neos deck' and Zane's Cyber Dark Dragon when Atticus and Syrus couldn't even come close.” Bastion sighs and thinks in his mind, solemnly, “Serena and Jaden are becoming better and better duelists every single duel while I am stuck in their shadows. I hate to admit it, I'm jealous of Jaden's and Serena's incredible dueling abilities. And their uncanny `Miracle Draw' ability, now even stronger than before, they are far better duelists than I am, even through my intelligence and strategic abilities are far stronger. They are light-years are ahead of me in overall dueling ability and I can't help to be jealous of them. Is this what's going to happen to me? I am going to live in the shadows of Jaden and Serena, for good?” Bastion slams his right hand into the wall and he roars out in frustration. Bastion then continues to make more formulas on his wall while Jadeite, hiding in the bushes in front of sliding doors, notices his frustration and doubt as well as the slight jealously of Bastion for our Moon twins with an evil smile on his lips.

 

(Back at Queen Beryl's base; A short time soon after)

 

Returning to Queen Beryl's hidden base, we find Queen Beryl sitting down on her throne with her brainwashed new general, Hell Kaiser Zane, in front of her while Jadeite teleports into the room.

 

Queen Beryl asks Jadeite, “Report, Jadeite.”

 

Jadeite tells Queen Beryl, “Bastion Misawa is showing great frustration and starting to show signs of jealously towards both Moon brats. His desire to become a great duelist is also coming to the surface as well.”

 

Queen Beryl gives a wide evil smile and states, evilly, “Excellent. He is getting ripe to become my newest general.”

 

Zane tells Queen Beryl, in a dark tone, “My queen, allow me to retrieve that scrub for you.”

 

Queen Beryl tells Zane, with an evil smile, “Patience, my loyal servant. We shall get Bastion Misawa soon enough and that brother of that bitch, Princess Serenity, will have to deal with battling one of his friends. He will know pain like none other!” Queen Beryl gives a very wide evil smile and that bares ill will towards our heroes and heroines.

 

(On the meanwhile; back at the Slifer Red dorms)

 

Within of the redesigned room in the Slifer Red dorms, we find Chazz Princeton and Jasmine Kurada entering Chazz's personally redesigned dorm room that he has temporary lent Alexis until the Obelisk Blue dorms are retaken from the control of the Society of Light. Chazz had dueled three more members of the Society of Light along with two Pro Duelists and beaten them all and since Jaden and Alexis are still on the beach until the evening hours, he decides to take a breather in his dorm room until Alexis comes back.

 

Chazz asks Jasmine, in his usual manner, “What are you doing here, Kurada?”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, in her serious tone, “Don't get me wrong, Chazz. I'm just following you on Alexis' orders.”

 

Chazz asks Jasmine, curiously, “When do you take orders from anyone?”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, in a serious tone, “Hey, don't compare Alexis to that brainwashing freak that tried to turn her into a heartless monster!”

 

Chazz replies, in his serious tone, “Don't even mention that son of a bitch to me! I've got some payback to give to him!”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “If you had forgotten, he beat in a duel to brainwash you in the first place.”

 

Chazz roars out, in a bit of annoyed tone, “Hey! He only got because he played his mind-games on me! This time, I know better and if I see him again, I will really Chazz Him Up but good! No one uses The Chazz as a puppet and he is going to pay for it!”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “There are plenty of us that are really pissed off at that alien freak, but I think that Serena, Jaden, and Aster are the only ones that can stop him. I mean, you are a really good duelist Chazz, but this guy has got the ability to see into the future and it only seems that Serena, Jaden, and Aster make his predictions go way off!”

 

Chazz asks, a bit annoyed, “It's always Jaden and Aster! Those two have got Alexis or many other girls going after them! What I don't get is what that Slifer Slacker has got that I don't?!”

 

Jasmine replies, teasingly, “Well, Jaden's got personality, a real positive attitude that can inspire and help others, he's kind, caring, strong-willed, never gives up on his friends and people he cares about, he would never allow a single human life to get hurt or killed if he can help it, and basically, he is like a male version of Serena, which is no wonder Jaden has got good luck with the opposite sex.”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, drolly, “Thanks a lot. I feel a whole lot better. If I was some kind of great reincarnated prince from an advance alien civilization, then the girls would run to me.”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, with a sly tone, “Doubt it. It isn't just because their past lives that Serena and Darien and Jaden and Alexis are together, it is because their love transcended time and death and they came together, not because of some kind of `destiny' crap like that asshole made, but because they truly care about each other and they chose to be together. But their past lives and their personalities also help and Jaden also has Winged Kuriboh. Girls love cute monsters like furry fairy.”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, in an annoyed tone, “Are you done?”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, with a smile, “Geez, Chazz, all I'm telling you is the truth. I'm not saying that you are a bad guy and you aren't bad looking on the eyes . . . actually, you are pretty . . . good . . .” Jasmine and Chazz blush at that remark, Jasmine clears her throat, and says, plainly, “It's just that you haven't found the right girl for you. You thought that it was Alexis, but you and `Lex were compatible and plus, her heart was already taken by Jaden. Not only five millennia ago, but I think that she started to become `interested' in him since that duel that she and Jaden had in the lake during the first year. I heard about Jaden from Alexis when she told me about him being the one that defeat Crowler and his personal deck in the examination duels and I think that's what started the `spark' of Alexis' `interest'. Personally, I thought that Jaden's victory was a fluke, but again and again, he proved me and practically many of us that doubted him wrong.”

 

Chazz sighs and says, in his usual tone, “I hate to admit it, that slacker showed that he is a better duelist that we gave him credit for.”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, with a smile, “And that there proves that you are a good person, Chazz. You admitted to a mistake and you know that girl can go with a guy that knows that he has made a mistake. That's why you have a problem with girls: You are one awesome duelist, through not compared to Jaden, and you've kicked butt plenty of times. You've just let your ego get the better of you.”

 

Chazz asks Jasmine, curiously, “I've got a question for you: Why are you being so nice to me?”

 

Jasmine blushes in embarrassment and replies, nervously, but trying to sound strong, “No reason! Just trying to be nice!”

 

Chazz rolls his eyes and replies, in a plain tone, “Whatever. If you are going to stick around, fine.” Chazz walks down to his couch in front of the wide-screen television he made in his room and turns it on.

 

Jasmine asks Chazz, curiously, “Hey, Chazz, you don't mind me using that personal hot spring of yours?”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, shrugging his shoulders, “Sure. Knock yourself out, but take off your clothes in the pool area.” Jasmine gives a slight huff and heads off to the area of Chazz's personal hot spring in his customized dorm room. After a few minutes, Chazz is watching television in the living room of his personalized dorm room in the Slifer Red dorm.

 

Just then Jasmine's voice booms out, “Hey, Chazz! Chazz!”

 

Chazz shouts out, in his usual manner, “What is this time?!”

 

Jasmine yells out, “Where did you put the damn soap . . . Wait a minute! I found . . . AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!” Chazz immediately got out of his seat and rushed over to the hot spring pool.

 

When he gets there, Chazz opens the sliding door and tries to call out, “Hey, what's going . . .?!” However, he doesn't get to finish when he gets splashed by a bucket full of hot spring water and then the bucket hits him square in the head. Inside of the hot spring, we find Jasmine, totally nude, in the hot spring water and covering her breasts, which are very well-developed, shaped, and curved, with her arms and hands.

 

Jasmine shouts out, angrily, “You damned perv! How dare you barge in like that?! You wanted to see me naked didn't you?!”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, very annoyed, “You are out of your mind and I . . .!” Just then he steps on a bar of soap causing him to slip and he yells out as he falls into his hot spring pool, stomach first, with a loud splash and Jasmine yells out in shock. After the splash, Chazz pops his head above the water, spits water out of his mouth like a cartoon character when pretending to be statue, and he looks like a soggy mess.

 

Jasmine giggles tauntingly and says, in the same teasing tone, “You look like a cartoon character, Chazz.”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, annoyed, “Nice for you to notice. What in the damn world were you thinking?”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “Hey, you are the one who barged in here!”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, annoyed, “Hey, you are the one that called out like we were in trouble or something! What was all that yelling about?!”

 

Jasmine blushes in embarrassment and replies, nervously, “You heard that? Oops. Sorry. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I thought that I got a zit.”

 

Chazz slaps himself in the head and exclaims, very annoyed, “A zit?! And I thought that Mindy, Mina, and that Slifer Slacker's sister were flakes of the group!”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “Oh, come on, Chazz! I'm sorry! Let me make it up to you!”

 

Chazz crosses his arms and says, getting to his feet in the tub, “With what?!”

 

Jasmine gets up, goes up to him, and says, with a sly smile and tone, “Since you are already all wet, how about I clean you off as well?”

 

Chazz replies, stunned, “Say what?!”

 

Jasmine takes off his jacket and shirt, revealing his muscular chest, and says, with a slight blush noticing Chazz's well-developed body, “Why not, Chazzy? You are already all wet and besides you've been dueling those white geeks and pros all day! You need it!”

 

Chazz tells Jasmine, in his usual tone, “You're nuts!” Just then he blushes when he notices Jasmine isn't covering her breasts and body with her arms and he turns his head away slightly. Jasmine notices this, figures out why he is blushing, blushes in embarrassment, and the notices a slight bulge in his pants causing her to give a slight smirk.

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, with a sly tone, “Well, Chazzy, like it or not, you are going to have a bath. So, you had better kick off those shoes or do I have to do it for you? And you know how strong that I am.”

 

Chazz sighs in defeat and Chazz says, still with a blush on his cheeks, “Fine. But turn around.” Jasmine quickly goes back in the water and turns around as Chazz takes off the rest of his clothes, but she manages to glace at him long enough to see his hardening manhood and gets into the water, sinking just past his navel, and Jasmine drops down into the water, turning around to meet his flushed and mock tough expression.

 

Jasmine goes over to him and asks, in a sly curious tone, “By the way, Chazz, did you see anything that you liked?”

 

Chazz's cheeks become really flush and he says, trying to sound more annoyed than embarrassed, “Let's just get this over with!”

 

Jasmine replies, in a mock annoyed tone, but with a sly smile, “Well, fine! I'm just trying to be helpful!” Soon after, Jasmine and Chazz took their bath together in the hot spring pool in Chazz's customized dorm room that he has temporary lent to Alexis until the Obelisk Blue dorms can be taken back from Sartorius and the Society of Light. As they continued to bathe together, Chazz couldn't keep his eyes off of Jasmine and vice-versa causing the two of them to peek at each other.

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, “What is up with this girl something? I don't understand her! One minute, she is nasty as hell and next, she is nice to me as her flaky friend, Mindy. But then again, she might be boy-crazy as her friend, Mindy, and that slacker's sister own `girlfriend', Mina Aino, but she can be just as serious and strong as Alexis. I heard what happened from that little twerp Syrus about how Jasmine as Sailor Aries blasted into the white dorm and practically scared plenty of those white geeks to tell them where Alexis and I was. I've got to admit that this girl is like a mix of Alexis and their friend Mindy. Flaky with boy craziness and typical girl fashion insanity and then as serious as Alexis. Kick butt first and ask questions later. And I've got to admit, she is quite pretty in her own way. But why I am thinking about that?”

 

On the meanwhile, Jasmine thinks in his mind, with a smile, “Personally, I was so nasty to Chazz after Jaden and Serena freed him from that alien freak's control that I was still pretty mad at him because it was him that my best friend got brainwashed in the first place. However, I remember that he was brainwashed too and he didn't really know what he was doing. And the real Chazz would never allow anyone else to help him and make his own choices without anyone else telling him what to do. The real Chazz might be somewhat of a jerk, but he is a really nice guy when you get to know him. And I've got to admit, he is pretty cool and one of the best duelists around.” Chazz gives a slight groan as he moves his shoulders around and shows that he has a bit of a backache.

 

Chazz thinks in his mind, “Damn it! Not again! Those white geeks are pathetic, but dueling so many of them and getting back at that asshole that turned me into his puppet really takes a toll one's back and shoulder, through that Slifer Slacker isn't much help in that area.” Just then Chazz feels two hands massaging his back and shoulders and he turns around to see Jasmine massaging his back and shoulders. Chazz asks Jasmine, “Hey! What do you think that you are doing?!”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, in a bit of an annoyed tone, “Just trying to help you loosen up a little, Chazz. Sheesh!”

 

Chazz asks Jasmine, curiously, “Okay, why are you being so nice to me?”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “To be honest, Chazz, even after you were freed from that space freak's control, I wasn't exactly too happy with you. You were the one that brainwashed Alexis in the first place with that ruthless duel, but then again, I've got to remember that freak messed with your mind and you weren't exactly yourself during that duel. But then again, with you, who can really tell?”

 

Chazz snorts and replies, in his usual droll manner, “Thanks a lot.”

 

Jasmine tells Chazz, “Sorry, but what I'm trying to say is I feel a bit guilty about how I treated you earlier because Alexis is my best friend, kind of like a sister to me, like the friendship between Rei and Serena, and the way that she was transformed into that heartless monster by that alien freak really got my goat. I'm just trying to make peace.” Jasmine then leads Chazz to the back edge of the pool and gently rubs his shoulders and Chazz couldn't help to feel good by Jasmine's treatment, but then when he looked at her, he glanced at her breasts again causing him to blush again and slightly turn his head away. When Jasmine looks to see Chazz's blush, Jasmine gives a sly smile and asks, with a sly tone, “What are you looking at Chazz?”

 

Chazz replies, a bit nervously, “Nothing.”

 

Jasmine asks, in a sly tone, “Oh, really? Can you look me in the eye and say that?” Chazz looks Jasmine eye to eye and finds that she has a sly look in her eyes causing him to gain a slight blush, but as they continued to look at each other, eye to eye, a weird feeling began to boil up from the pit of their stomach and `certain areas' on their bodies. Unknowingly, Jasmine slowly moves closer to Chazz until their foreheads are touching each other and before either of them knew what they were doing, their lips connected into a kiss and when they kiss, a feeling of immense pleasure flowed through their bodies that they couldn't ignore and a `feeling' that this was `right'. Soon enough, the two of them were making out with Chazz massaging Jasmine's breasts with his hand while the two of them were still locked in the passionate kiss with Jasmine wrapping her arms around Chazz's back and shoulders as they continued to make out some more.

 

(Early evening hours; Within the Ra Yellow dorms)

 

During the evening hours inside of the Ra Yellow dorms, when many of our heroes and heroines are asleep, we are inside Bastion's dorm room as he continues to write on his walls and roof with his formulas for his monster, spell, and trap cards and creating his dueling decks. However, he has a look of great strain on his expression as well as a look of determination and frustration.

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, with a serious and somewhat frustrated tone, “I know that I can beat that alien freak and his Society of Light! Even through Jaden and Serena are very strong duelists with their `Miracle Draw' abilities, I can be just as strong as they are with my logical and strategic thinking abilities. I know that even if Sartorius himself challenged me, I can beat him, even with his mysterious powers and that damned Light of Destruction inside of him.” Just then Bastion's PDA rings and he says to himself, wondering, “Who can that be?” Bastion activates his PDA and gasps to see Zane's face on his screen.

 

Zane says, in a dark and emotionless tone, “Hey, nerd, I'm challenge you to a duel. If you aren't scared, come alone to the abandoned dorm in one hour. That means no Sailor Scouts, Moon Princess, and no Jaden Yuki. Got it?! Unless you are too afraid to face me yourself or you are just another pathetic duelist that not much worth like Serena Tsukino or Jaden Yuki.” Soon after, Zane's face vanishes from the screen and Bastion tightens his grip on his PDA.

 

Bastion says to himself, in a serious tone, “Scared, huh? We shall see who is afraid.” Bastion puts his PDA away, gets his dueling deck, and attached a duel disk to his left wrist. Soon enough, he heads out of his dorm room and prepares to head to the abandoned dorm to face Zane.

 

(Around one hour later; In front of the abandoned dorm)

 

An hour later that evening, we find Bastion Misawa walking in front of the abandoned dorm and find Zane Truesdale, in his pitch black version of the uniforms wore by the generals of the Negaverse.

 

Zane tells Bastion, darkly, “Nice for you to show, nerd. You have more courage than I thought.”

 

Bastion tells Zane, in a serious tone and with a sly smile on his lips, “I never back down from a challenge Zane. Nice new clothes. Look similar to Jadeite's if I'm not mistaken.”

 

Zane tells Bastion, in a dark and emotionless tone, “So, you know that I've joined the great Queen Beryl and the Negaverse to make sure those Moon brats are eliminated and the true ruler of the universe comes into power like she deserves.”

 

Bastion tells Zane, in a serious tone, “Don't you care that you are helping an egoistical madman . . . madwoman that's just as dangerous as the Light of Destruction or that your brother is worried sick about you?”

 

Zane yells out, in a dark serious tone, “She is my queen and you will show her respect! And it will be sooner than you think!”

 

Bastion asks Zane, in a serious and curious tone, “And why is that Zane?”

 

Zane tells Bastion, in a dark and serious tone, “Because you are coming with me!”

 

Bastion replies, in a serious tone, “I believe not!”

 

Just then another dark male voice calls out, “Wrong, human!” Bastion tries to turn around to take a look to see who it is, but he screams out in extreme pain as he is shocked by dark lightning bolts and he collapses to the ground of his stomach, unconscious and slightly smoking. Soon after, Jadeite comes out of the shadows with his hands sparking dark electrical energy to show that he was the one that attacked Bastion.

 

Jadeite says, with an evil grin, “Exactly as our queen planned. Welcome to the Negaverse, Bastion Misawa.”

 

(The next day; In front of the Slifer Red dorms)

 

We find all of our heroes and heroines, expect for Bastion, assembled in front of the Slifer Red dorms and they were discussing about our intelligential duelist of Jaden's group of friends, Bastion Misawa. When Ami went into his room this morning, they found that he was missing without any note or notice to where he is or could be and she quickly called all of her friends and allies. Now, they are assembled in front of the Slifer Red dorm to discuss what could have happened to him.

 

Syrus asks, curiously, “Where could Bastion be? I'm starting to get worried about him. What could have happened to him?”

 

Mindy asks, worriedly, “Do you think the Light of Destruction and the Society of Light could have something to do with this?”

 

Ami says, with a logical and solemn tone, “I don't think so. With the information on the Society of Light, they've been trying to their best to avoid us and win the GX tournament.”

 

Chazz says, with his usual manner, “Because those Society Geeks know what will happen to them when they face The Chazz.”

 

Alexis tells Chazz, with a sigh, “Get a hold of yourself, Chazz.”

 

Jaden says, with a serious tone, “I don't think that alien freak has anything to do with Bastion's disappearance.”

 

Blair asks Jaden, “What makes you say that, Jaden-sempai?”

 

Jaden states, in a serious tone, “Call it a feeling, but one that I don't like. I don't think that the Society of Light has anything to do with Bastion's disappearance, but I do think that something really bad happened to him. Let's go searching for him.”

 

Darien tells Jaden, “That's a good idea, Jaden. I'll go with Serena and the girls and search around the abandoned dorm, the beach, and near the `White Dorm', just in case.”

 

Jaden tells Darien, with a smile, “Sweet, Darien. Jaden, Alexis, and my friends along with the Zodiacs will take the rest of the island. We should contact Yugi, Atem, and his friends to get them to look around, too.”

 

Danielle says, nodding her head, “That's a good idea.”

 

Jasmine exclaims, in a serious tone, “Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's get going already!” Without another needed to be said, our heroes and heroines split off into their two teams to explore and look for Bastion while Jaden gets on his PDA to contact Yugi, Atem, and their friends.

 

While they were preparing to look around for Bastion, Ami says to her friends, worriedly, “I hope that Bastion-sempai is okay.”

Mina tells Ami, with her sly smile, “Don't worry, Ami. I'm sure that your new crush is just fine.”

 

Ami blushes in embarrassment and she yells at Mina, embarrassedly, “I don't think of Bastion-sempai in that way, Mina!”

 

Rei tells Mina, “Cut it out, Mina! We need to focus on more important things like finding him!”

 

Serena then says, with a sly grin, “Then we can focus on why Ami-chan blush when Mina mentioned that she had a crush on him.”

 

Ami says, disappointed and embarrassed tone on her lips, “Not you, too, Serena!”

 

Rini tells Serena, “Come on, Serena! Leave Ami alone!”

 

Luna sighs and says in her mind, “Sometimes I really wonder about that girl.”

 

Ami thinks in her mind, perplexed, “Do I . . . Do I really like Bastion-sempai? Well, he is a lot like me. Very smart, logical, intelligent, and he is pretty cute looking on the eyes . . . What?! Why did I think that? I hope I'm not picking up Mina-chan's bad habits. But why can't I get Bastion-sempai and me together out of my mind?”

 

(Inside of Queen Beryl's base; A short time soon after)

 

Within Queen Beryl's base, we find her looking down at Zane Truesdale, brainwashed into her one of her newest generals, and Jadeite, brainwashed into total obedience to his queen along with a brand new general that looks pretty familiar. This new general has crimson red and pitch black hair with dark violet streaks in his black and red hair in Bastion's hairstyle, deep green eyes that are seemly totally lifeless and empty, and wearing dark blue version of Jadeite's uniform with pitch black fingerless fighting gloves on his hands along with a pitch black version of the Academy Duel Disk attached to his left wrist with a dueling deck inside of the duel disk.

 

Queen Beryl tells the new general, with an evil sly grin, “Welcome to the Negaverse, General Bastion.”

 

This new general kneels in front of Queen Beryl and says, in a dark and emotionless tone and in a slightly darker and deeper version of Bastion's voice, “It is an honor to serve you, my queen.”

 

Queen Beryl tells the new general, obviously, Bastion, with an evil grin, “If you destroy that bratty Sailor Moon and his brother, your former friend, Jaden Yuki, you will be greatly rewarded. You will have the great respect and attention as one of the greatest duelists ever known.”

 

Bastion gives an evil smile and tells Queen Beryl, with a dark and emotionless tone, “Thank you, my queen. That would please me to no end. Shall I begin?”

 

Queen Beryl tells Bastion, with an evil smile, “Thanks to the new dark powers and cards infused in your dueling deck, including replicas of the most powerful cards from General Zane's Underworld deck, you will have no problem with your intelligent and skill to destroy the Moon Prince and his sister.”

 

Bastion asks, in a dark and emotionless tone, “Who shall I target first?”

 

Queen Beryl tells Bastion, with an evil smirk, “I want you to defeat the one that you despise most, Jaden Yuki, and it will make that sister of his suffer like no other when she loses her brother.”

 

Bastion tells Queen Beryl, with an evil grin and dark and emotionless tone, “It will be my pleasure, my queen.” Bastion then uses his new dark powers to teleport away.

 

Zane asks Queen Beryl, with a dark tone, “My queen, do you think that little nerd will succeed?”

 

Queen Beryl tells Zane, with an evil smile, “My dear Zane, you underestimate him. That pathetic male moon brat might have this special `Miracle Draw' ability when he duels, but it won't matter when Bastion crushes him quickly before he can fully use it.”

 

(Sometime later; In front of Duel Academy's main building)

 

In front of Duel Academy's main building, we find all of our heroes and heroines, joined by Yugi, Atem, and their friends, assembled together after they had looked for any signs of Bastion, but all of them have come up empty-handed.

 

Jaden asks Serena, Darien, and Serena's friends, “Did you find any sign of Bastion?”

 

Amara says, in a plain and serious tone, “Not a single clue, Jaden. Ami scanned for Bastion within the `White Dorm' and there isn't any sign of him. And even if he was brainwashed by that evil alien freak, Ami's scanner would pick him up.”

 

Atem says, in his usual tone, “So, it is logical to assume that the Society of Light isn't responsible for Bastion Misawa's disappearance.”

 

Syrus then asks, curiously, “Then what could have happened to him?”

 

Jasmine asks, curiously, “Do you think that snake Beryl took poor Bastion?”

 

Chazz says, in his usual tone, “Based on what you told me about that Beryl person, I would have to say that could be a good bet.”

 

Jaden asks, perplexed, “But why would Beryl kidnap Bastion?”

 

Rei says, in a serious tone, “Most likely to get to you, Jaden. That's the way that witch, Beryl, works. Remember, he tried to use Darien to get to Serena and the Silver Crystal. She loves to use her enemies' friends and family to make them suffer.”

 

Mina yells out, annoyed, “Oh, that rotten witch really get me angry!”

 

Atticus says, with a serious tone, “Do you think there is a way we can find Beryl's base and rescue Bastion and Zane?”

 

Danielle replies, “Ami and I have been trying to find Beryl's base in this area, but so far, we've had no luck.”

 

Lita says, in her annoyed tone, “Not surprising. That snake always knew how to hide.”

 

Alexis asks, curiously, “What do you think that we should do?” Just then an eerie wind comes into the air and Rei, Amara, and Jasmine sense a strong negative force coming towards them.

 

Amara says, in a serious plain tone, “Head's up, everyone! There is a powerful negative evil force heading towards us!”

 

Mindy asks, curiously, “Are you sure?”

 

Jasmine tells Mindy, “Amara's right, Mindy! Whatever or whoever that negative force is, it is nearby.”

 

Just then a familiar dark male voice calls out, “You would be correct!” Everyone looks right to the source to see the transformed Bastion, in his new Negaverse General `form', right in front of them, but everyone doesn't recognize him.

 

Blair asks, perplexed, “Who is that?”

 

Jaden says, with a bit of worry, “I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that we know this guy.”

 

Alexis says, with worry in her expression and tone, “Same here, but where?”

 

Bastion gives an evil smirk and he says, darkly, “Forgotten me already, Jaden? I'm insulted.”

 

Ami gasps, knowing Bastion's voice, and she exclaims, “It's Bastion!”

 

Everyone looks at Ami in shock and everyone yell out in unison and shock, “Bastion?!”

 

Bastion says, darkly, “I see that it finally sinks in. Took you fools long enough.”

 

Jaden asks, shocked, “Bastion, what happened to you?!”

 

Darien says, with a serious expression on his face, “I'm thinking that Beryl happened. Take at look at his new green eyes.”

 

Everyone looks at Bastion's eyes and Jasmine exclaims, shocked, “Yipe! His eyes are lifeless and empty! It was like . . . I don't want even remember it, but when Sartorius fully brainwashed Alexis with the evil Light of Destruction before Chazz and her dueled Serena and Jaden.”

 

Michelle says, in a serious tone, “So, Beryl brainwashed Bastion like she did Darien and the Light of Destruction did to Alexis.”

 

Amara says, in a plain tone, “It seems so.”

 

Mindy states, annoyed, “Man! Is every villains around here in the brainwashing business these days?!”

 

Tyranno tells Mindy, “I know how you feel, ma'am. This is getting annoying.”

 

Bastion yells out, in a dark annoyed tone, “Will all of you cut out your chatting already?! I'm here to duel Jaden right here and now!”

 

Jaden asks Bastion, curiously, “Why do you want to duel me?”

 

Rei tells Jaden, seriously, “Most likely to take your energy to Beryl. He isn't the same person that he was Jaden, so, you have to be careful.”

 

Bastion says, in the dark tone, “It is more than just getting energy for my queen! I'm here to prove my power as a duelist, once and for all! Out of all of the duelists around here, it seems like only Serena and Jaden can their skills and abilities notice and get stronger while I'm left by the wayside! Look at all of their victories! Jaden has defeated most of the Shadow Riders and won, while I lost to the first Shadow Rider because I left myself get distracted, he beat the Sacred Beasts, twice, tied with Zane, and with Serena, is practically the main reason that the Society of Light is nearly demolished! And that Moon Princess, Jaden's sister, she just came here and already she has become just as successful as Jaden has! On the meanwhile, I get left behind and struck in their shadows! Nothing, but a footnote to their rise to power and greatness! But not anymore, I'm going to prove that even with his `Miracle Draw' ability, Jaden will fall beneath the power of science and my deck! I'm here to prove that I'm a great duelist also and to make sure that I'm not stuck in the shadow of those `Moon twins'!”

 

Syrus asks, perplexed, “Wait a minute! Are you saying that you're jealous of Serena's and Jaden's abilities?!”

 

Bastion retorts, darkly, “What do you think, twerp?!”

 

Amara says, in a serious tone, “He might be brainwashed, but he is being sincere. He is jealous of Serena's and Jaden's abilities. Out of the major victories against the Society of Light and Beryl, Jaden and Serena won the majority of the important victories. Bastion must have felt that trapped in their shadow and his dreams to become a great duelist were also `halted' because his abilities didn't match Jaden's and Serena's skills. Plus, he felt his importance is being left out with Serena and Jaden always in the `limelight'. And Beryl used that jealously and frustration to her advantage.”

 

Lita says, with an angered tone, “Why I am not surprised?”

 

Serena asks, worriedly, “What should we do?”

 

Jaden attaches a duel disk to his left wrist and yells out, “What I do best Serena! Okay, Bastion, get your game on!”

 

Ami then tells Jaden, “Jaden, wait!”

 

Everyone looks at Ami, she attaches a duel disk to her left wrist, inserting a duel deck into her duel disk, and Ami asks Jaden, “Jaden, I want to duel Bastion.”

 

Everyone gasps at Ami in shock and Alexis tells Ami, “Ami, you and the girls might be experts in fighting the Negaverse and good duelists, but Bastion has held his own against Jaden and he won't be easy, especially now with some new powerful dark cards from Beryl.”

 

Mina tells Ami, “Alexis has a point, Ami. Maybe you should stay out of this.”

 

Ami says, with strength and determination not heard in her voice before, “No! I need to do this! I don't know why, but I feel that I should be the one to duel Bastion.” Everyone is surprised by the strength and determination in Ami's voice and Jaden sees the look of strength and determination in her eyes.

 

Jaden tells Ami, “Okay, if you feel that strongly, Ami, then why I should be allowed to stop you?”

 

Ami tells Jaden, with a smile, “Thank you, Jaden.”

 

Serena asks Ami, worriedly, “Ami, are you sure about doing this?”

 

Ami nods her head and tells Serena, in a determined tone, “Yes, I do.”

 

Amara says, in a plain tone, “I think that Ami should be allowed to do this. I don't know why, but I know that she really wants to do this and I don't think that we should stop her.”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “I'm not sure about this.”

 

Hotaru tells Syrus, “Syrus-chan, I think that we should trust Ami-chan on this one.”

 

Ami goes forward to face Bastion and she tells him, strongly, “Bastion, if you want to get to Jaden, you will have to duel me first.”

 

Bastion says, darkly, “I don't have time for games!”

 

Ami activates her duel disk and tells Bastion, in a strong tone not heard in her before, “I'm not joking, Bastion! I'm challenging you to a duel and by GX tournament rules, you must accept!”

 

Mina says, amazed, “Wow! I never heard Ami talk so strongly! She really wants to do this!”

 

Lita asks, curiously, “You're right, Mina, but why?”

 

Trista says, in her plain tone, “Only Ami-chan can answer that question.”

 

Bastion says, with a dark tone and activating his duel disk, “Your funeral.”

 

Both of them draw five cards from their decks, their life-point counters display 4000 life-points each, and the two yell out in unison, “Game on!”

Serena says, worriedly, “I hope that Ami will be okay.”

 

Alexis tells Serena, “We've just got to believe in her, Serena.”

 

Ami draws one card from her deck and calls out, “I'll go first!” Ami looks at the cards in her hand, puts one card on her duel disk, and says, “I play my Skilled Dark Magician in attack mode!” Soon after, Skilled Dark Magician (1900/1600) comes to the field in attack mode. Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Graceful Charity! I draw three cards from my deck and discard two from my hand!” Ami draws three cards from her deck, discards two cards from her hand, and one of the spell counters on Skilled Dark Magician light up. Ami then puts another card in the spell/trap slot and calls out, “Next, I play my Trap Booster spell card! I discard one card from my hand to play one trap card from my hand!” Ami discards one card from her hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, a hologram of Pitch Black-Power Stone trap card appears on the field, and she calls out, “Now, I play my Pitch Black-Power Stone trap card! Now, three spell counters are put on this trap card and this card remains on the field until three counters are used up!” Soon after, a second spell counter on Skilled Dark Magician lights up and Ami then calls out, “Next, I play the effect of my trap and transfer one counter to Skilled Dark Magician!” The final spell counter on Skilled Dark Magician lights up and Ami states, in a strong tone, “With three spell counters on Skilled Dark Magician, I play his effect and sacrifice him in order to special summon Dark Magician from my deck!” Skilled Dark Magician vanishes as he is sacrificed, a card comes out of Ami's deck, she takes the card, puts it on her duel disk, and Dark Magician (2500/2100) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Tyranno says, with a smile, “Good move. She managed to summon a high-level soldier to the field on her first move.”

 

Ami puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I end with two cards face-down!”

 

Bastion draws one card from his deck and says, darkly, “All right! On guard, Ami!” Bastion looks at his hand, puts one card on his duel disk, “Now, I summon the mighty Mathematician in attack mode!” Soon after, Mathematician (1500/500) comes to the field in attack mode! Bastion then says, with a dark serious tone, “When he is summoned to the field, I must discard the top card from my deck to the graveyard!” Bastion discards the top card in his deck to the graveyard, grins evilly when he finds that it is Carbonedon (1100/600) monster card, and says, putting a card in the spell/trap slots, “Next, I play my Pump Up spell card! This card doubles the attack points of my Mathematician for this turn!” Mathematician's stats increase from 1500/500 to 3000/500! Bastion then calls out, “Now, Mathematician, attack her Dark Magician with Number Cruncher!” Mathematician launches a beam of energy filled with numbers right at Ami's Dark Magician.

 

Ami pushes a button on her duel disk and says, with a strong tone, “Sorry, Bastion, but I play my trap! Negate Attack!” Ami's face-down card is revealed to be Negate Attack and Ami tells Bastion, strongly, “With this card, your attack is negated and you can't attack me any more this turn!” Mathematician's attack is negated by a force-field in front of Dark Magician.

 

Bastion then says, with a dark sneer, “Not bad, but not good enough.” Bastion puts two cards in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn with these two cards face-down!” Soon after, Bastion's Mathematician's stats reduce down back to 1500/500! When Bastion looks into Ami's eyes, he sees the strength and determination, but something else, a pleading tone deep into his heart. Bastion feels a slight pain in his heart and he thinks, “What is this feeling? Why does looking into her eyes put a pain into my heart? She's my enemy! But why can't I get this feeling out of my heart?!”

 

Ami draws one card from her deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and yells out, “Now, I play my Card of Sanctity! Both of us must draw cards from my deck until we have six cards in our hands!” Ami and Bastion then draw cards from their decks until both of them have six cards in their hands. Ami thinks in her mind, in a determined tone, “Whatever Beryl did to you Bastion, I will set you free. No matter what.” Ami puts one card on her duel disk and calls out, “Now, I sacrifice my Dark Magician in order to special summon my Dark Eradicator Warlock in attack mode!” Dark Magician vanishes from the field and Dark Eradicator Warlock (2500/2100) comes to the field in attack mode. Bastion growls slightly annoyed, Ami pushes a button on her duel disk, and calls out, “Next, I reveal my face-down card! Soul Resurrection!” Ami's face-down card is revealed to be Soul Resurrection and Ami tells Bastion, with a determined tone, “Thanks to this card, I can summon back one Normal monster from my graveyard in defense mode! And I choose my Dark Magician!” Soon after, Dark Magician (2500/2100) comes back to the field in defense mode. Ami then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play my Magical Blast spell card! With this card, you take two hundred life-points for every Spellcaster monster on my side of the field and since there is two Spellcasters on the field, you lose four hundred life-points!”

 

Bastion yells out, shocked, “What?!”

 

Ami then says, with a strong tone, “However, before that happen, my Warlock's special ability activates! Since I played a Normal spell card, you automatically lose one thousand life-points!”

 

Bastion calls out, stunned, “It can't be!” Dark Eradicator Warrior launches a black sphere of energy right at Bastion that slams into him and he roars out as he loses 1000 life-points. Just then he groans out as he loses some energy from his body.

 

Everyone is perplexed by this and Tea asks, confused, “Hey, what's going on?!”

 

Amara says, in a serious tone, “Bastion lost some of his energy. He is using his dark powers to make this duel have greater stakes. It is like the duel between Jaden and Jadeite. Every time a player loses life-points, they lose some of their energy.”

 

Syrus yells out, shocked, “How can Bastion do this?!”

 

Rei tells Syrus, in a serious tone, “Remember, your friend has been brainwashed by Beryl. He is not in his normal frame of mind.”

 

Ami asks Bastion, stunned, “How can you make this duel dangerous?”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a dark tone, “My queen requires energy for the revival of the Negaverse and she will get it, even if it means I've got to give up my energy.”

 

Ami tells Bastion, in a begging tone, “Bastion, you don't belong with Queen Beryl! You belong with us!”

 

Bastion says, in a dark serious tone, “Be silent! I have a duel to win and I will win!”

 

Ami says, with a sigh, “Now, the effect of my Magical Blast activates and you lose four hundred life-points.” The hologram of Magical Blast slams a sphere of violet energy into Bastion and he groans as he loses energy with his life-points dropping by 400 more life-points. Ami thinks in a solemn tone, “I'm sorry, Bastion-sempai. I really don't want to hurt, but I've got no choice.” Ami then calls out, “Dark Eradication Warlock, destroy his Mathematician with Dark Obliteration Blast!” Dark Eradication Warlock launches a sphere of black magical energy right Bastion's Mathematician.

 

Bastion pushes a button on his duel disk and calls out, “I don't think so, Ami! I play my trap card! Magic Cylinder!” Bastion's face-down card is revealed to be Magic Cylinder and Bastion yells out, “Now, your attack damage is redirect to your life-points!”

 

Ami yells out, worriedly, “Oh no!” Dark Eradication Warlock's attack is absorbed into a huge magical cylinder and launches right back at Ami through another cylinder causing it to slam into Ami with terrific force and she screams out in surprise. Ami groans out in pain, clutching her chest, as her energy is drained as she loses 2500 life-points.

 

Serena, Rei, Mina, Lita, Rini, and Hotaru yell out in shock, “Ami!”

 

Ami struggles to stay on her feet, she puts one card on her duel disk, and calls out, “I summon my Royal Magical Library in defense mode!” Soon after, Royal Magical Library (0/2000) appears on the field in defense mode. Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end with this!”

Bastion draws one card from his deck and says, “First, I play my spell! Hammer Shot! This card destroys the strongest monster on the field, but since you have two monsters with the same attack power, I get to choose which one and I choose your Dark Eradication Warlock!”

 

Ami yells out, in a serious tone, “But thanks to his ability, you still lose one thousand life-points, thanks to his ability!” Dark Eradication Warlock send a sphere of black energy into Bastion and he groans out as his energy is drained when his life-points drop by another 1000.

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a dark tone, “Maybe so, but he won't be using that ability ever again!” Dark Eradication Warlock then explodes into thousands of pieces as it is destroyed and one spell counter is added to Royal Magical Library. Bastion then puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “Next, I play my Lithmus Doom Ritual!” Bastion discards his Water Dragon (2800/2600) monster card to the graveyard, Bastion puts one card on his duel disk, and calls out, “Now, by sacrificing my Water Dragon, I can summon my Lithmus Doom Swordsman!” Soon after, Water Dragon appears on the field, vanishes a wave of water, and out of that water, Lithmus Doom Swordsman (0/0) comes to the field in attack mode while a second spell counter appears on Royal Magical Library. Bastion then declares, “Doom Swordsman can't be destroyed in battle and is unaffected by trap cards! Plus, when there is a trap card out, his attack and defense points are three thousand! And with your Pitch Black-Power Stone out, this is the case!” Lithmus Doom Swordsman's stats rise from 0/0 to 3000/3000!

 

Mina says, worriedly, “This isn't looking good for Ami.”

 

Rei tells Mina, annoyed, “We can't see that.”

 

Bastion calls out, in a dark strong tone, “Now, Doom Swordsman, give her Dark Magician a taste of your steel!” Doom Swordsman rushes in, slices Dark Magician apart, but since it was defense mode, Ami doesn't lose any life-points. Bastion says, with a dark grin, “Next, I switch my Mathematician to defense mode and that's all from me!” Mathematician then switches from attack to defense mode.

Ami draws one card from her deck and says, “Now, I play the effect of my Pitch Black-Power Stone! I transfer one spell counter to my Magical Library to give it three counters.” One more spell counter is added to Royal Magical Library and Ami yells out, “Now, I play the effect of my Magical Library! When it has three spell counters on it, I get to remove them to draw one more card from my deck!” Ami draws one more card from her deck as all three spell counters are taken from her Royal Magical Library. Ami puts one card on her duel disk and calls out, “Now, I play Breaker the Magical Swordsman in attack mode!” Soon after, Breaker the Magician Swordsman (1600/1000-1900/1000) comes to the field in attack mode. Ami tells Bastion, “When he is summoned, a spell counter is attached to him, giving him an extra three hundred attack points, but if I remove that counter, I can destroy one spell or trap card on the field and I choose your face-down!”

 

Bastion yells out, shocked, “It can't be!” Breaker loses his spell counter, his stats drop by 1900/1000 to 1600/1000, and with mighty swing from his sword, Bastion's face-down card is destroyed.

 

Ami then says, “Next, I put the last spell counter from my trap on Breaker, destroying it!” The final spell counter on Pitch Black-Power Stone is sent to Breaker, increasing his power to 1900/1000, once again, and destroying Ami's trap card. Ami then calls out, “Now, with my trap card gone, your Swordsman loses all of its power!” Doom Swordsman' stats then reduce down to 0/0!

 

Lita yells out, excitedly, “Awesome! This duel is over!”

 

Ami then calls out, seriously, “Breaker, attack his Swordsman and end this duel!” Breaker the Magician Swordsman moves in to attack Bastion's Swordsman!

 

Bastion puts a card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Hold it! I play my Trap Booster spell card! By discarding one card from my hand, I can play a trap card from it!” Bastion discards one card from his hand, puts one card in the spell/trap slots, and says, as a hologram of a Waboku trap card appears on Bastion's side of the field, “And I choose my Waboku trap card! Now, all battle damage during this turn is negated!” A trio of maidens appears in front of Doom Swordsman to negate the damage from Ami's Breaker.

 

Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and says, “I'll end my turn with this!

 

Bastion draws one card from his deck, puts the card on his duel disk, and says, with a dark smile, “Now, I sacrifice my Mathematician and my Doom Swordsman to summon the mighty Tyrant Dragon in attack mode!” Mathematician and Doom Swordsman vanish from the field and Tyrant Dragon (2900/2400) comes to the field in attack mode. Bastion then yells out, in a dark tone, “And now, since there are ten cards over Carbonedon, who was sent to the graveyard by Mathematician's effect, I can play his ability! I remove him from play in order to summon the mighty Hyozanryu!” Bastion removes Carbonedon from his graveyard, a card come out of his graveyard slot, Bastion puts the card on his duel disk, and Hyozanryu (2100/2800) comes to the field in attack mode.

 

Tyranno yells out, shocked, “Oh boy! That's not good! She's got major trouble coming her way with two high-level soldiers against her!”

 

Chazz tells Tyranno, in his usual tone, “What was your first clue Sherlock?”

 

Bastion then yells out, in a dark serious tone, “Tyrant Dragon, destroy her Breaker with Tyrant Flame!” Tyrant Dragon fires a breath of flames that destroys Ami's Breaker, taking out 1000 of her life-points, and she yells out in pain as she loses more energy.

 

Ami's friends gasp in shock and Serena calls out, worriedly, “Ami!”

 

Bastion tells Ami, “But that's not all, Ami! Thanks to his special ability, he gets to attack again since you have another monster out! Tyrant Dragon, destroy her Library with Tyrant Flame!” Tyrant Dragon then fires another breath of flames and destroying Ami's remaining monster, but since she had it in defense mode, she doesn't lose any life-points.

 

Hotaru says, worriedly, “Now, Ami-chan is defenseless.”

 

Bastion then yells out, in a dark serious tone, “Now, Hyozanryu, end this duel! Diamond Devastator!” Hyozanryu launches a breath of diamond shards directly at Ami.

 

Ami pushes a button on her duel disk and yells out, “I play the spell card, Dark Wall of Wind!” Ami's face-down card is revealed to be the Quick-Spell card Dark Wall of Wind and Ami declares, “Thanks to this card, all direct attacks are negated for this turn!” Ami is then surrounded by a dark dome of wind and Hyozanryu's attack is negated.

 

Bastion says, with a dark tone, “You are just stalling.”

Ami draws one card from her deck and looks into Bastion's lifeless eyes causing her to think, with a weary look on her expression, “Bastion-sempai, no matter what, I will save you from Beryl. Serena saved Darien from Beryl, saved Rini from the Black Moon, and saved the whole universe many times over with our help. I know that I can save you. You are a good person and I will find a way to bring the real you back.” Ami puts one card on her duel disk and calls out, “I place one card monster card face-down in defense mode.” A hologram of a monster card face-down appears on Ami's side of the field.

 

Mindy asks, worriedly, “Is that all she is going to do?”

 

Kanu says, in a serious tone, “That's all she can do!”

 

Bastion draws one card from his deck, puts the card in the spell/trap slots, and yells out, in a dark serious tone, “First, I play my Dark Spell Regeneration! This spell card allows me to replicate any spell card in the graveyard and I choose your Card of Sanctity! Now, both of us draw until we have six cards in our hands!” Both duelists then draw from their decks until they have six cards in their hands. Bastion puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Now, I play my Mystic Wok! I sacrifice my Tyrant Dragon and I regain life-points equal to its attack power!” Tyrant Dragon vanishes from the field and Bastion's life-points increase by 2900.

 

Chazz says, with a serious tone, “Why did he do that? He could have ended this duel with those two monster cards!”

 

Syrus says, worriedly, “I'm afraid to find out!”

 

Bastion puts another card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Next, I play Polymerization! And I use them to fuse these three monsters! Recognize them?!” Bastion then displays Cyber Dark Horn (800/800), Cyber Dark Edge (800/800), and Cyber Dark Keel (800/800) monster cards and all of our heroes and heroines gasp in shock.

 

Atticus yells out, shocked, “Hold on! Those are Zane's cards! The Cyber Dark monsters!”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone, “She must have replicated them and give them to Bastion.” Bastion discards the three cards to the graveyard, the three monsters appear on the field, they go into a fusion vortex, and Bastion puts a fusion monster card from his fusion deck on his duel disk.

 

Bastion calls out, darkly, “Time to meet the monster of your doom! Cyber Dark Dragon!” Soon after, out of the fusion vortex, Cyber Dark Dragon (1000/1000) appears on the field in attack mode with an unearthly roar. Bastion says, with a dark tone, “Now, thanks to his ability, he takes my Tyrant Dragon from the graveyard and gains its attack points!” Bastion's graveyard glows brightly, Tyrant Dragon reappears on the field, Cyber Dark Dragon captures Tyrant Dragon in its claws, Cyber Dark Dragon attached IV wires to its forehead, and Cyber Dark Dragon's stats rise from 1000/1000 to 3900/1000! Bastion then says, in a dark tone, “Plus, it gains one hundred attack points for every card in my graveyard. And since I've got sixteen cards in my graveyard, he gains sixteen hundred attack points!” Cyber Dark Dragon's stats increase from 3900/1000 to 5500/1000!

 

Alexis says, worriedly, “Oh no. Ami can't stand up to that type of firepower.”

 

Bastion yells out, darkly, “Cyber Dark Dragon, destroy her face-down monster! Hellfire Roar!” Cyber Dark Dragon gives an unearthly roar as it attacks Ami's face-down monster, revealed to be Unhappy Maiden (0/100), and totally obliterates it. However, thousands of little creatures appear on the field and swarm Bastion's monsters. Bastion calls out, shocked, “What is going on here?!”

 

Ami tells Bastion, with a weak smile, “Thanks to my Unhappy Maiden's special ability, when it is sent to the graveyard, you can't attack any more this turn.”

 

Bastion puts one card in the spell/trap slot and says, darkly, “I'll end with this.” Bastion thinks in his mind, darkly, “Perfect! With my Shift trap card face-down, when she tries to destroy my Hyozanryu, I will shift the attack to my Dark Dragon and this duel will be over!”

Ami falls down on her right knee, breathing heavily, and Lita says, worriedly, “Ami can't take anymore of this! He is too worn out!”

 

Darien says, with a serious tone, “This duel has taken a serious toll on her energy.”

 

Hotaru states, with a worried tone, “Isn't there anything we can do?”

 

Michelle tells Hotaru, solemnly, “I wish that we could, Firefly. But this is Ami's duel now.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a dark tone, “You can't win, Ami. My skills and power far exceed yours. The Bastion that you knew is long gone and General Bastion of the Negaverse, one of the strongest dark duelists in the universe, is here to stay!”

 

Ami says, weakly, “I won't accept that.” Ami then slowly gets to her feet, she looks at Bastion with a look of determination and strength in her eyes, and she says, strongly, “I know that there is good in you. There is no evil in you, Bastion-sempai, and I will save you.” When Bastion looks at Ami in the eye, a great pain comes over his heart and he clutches his heart in pain.

 

Bastion thinks in his mind, “Damn it all! What in the world is wrong with me? Why did I feel this pain in my heart when I look into her eyes? Why does this girl hurt my heart so much when she looks at me that way?”

 

Jasmine asks, perplexed, “What is wrong with Bastion?”

 

Mindy says, “It looks like he is having a heart attack.”

 

Mina says, eyes widened, “That's the same look that Alexis had when she was fighting Sartorius' mind-control in the double duel! He must be fighting Beryl's mind-control!”

 

Rei nods her head and says, “I think that you are right, for once, Mina.”

 

Lita yells out, “Ami, this is your chance!”

 

Ami draws one card from her deck and says, putting one card on her duel disk, “Now, I play Silent Doom! This spell card allows me to summon one monster back to the field in defense mode! And I choose my Dark Magician!” Soon after, Dark Magician (2500/2100) comes back to the field in defense mode! Ami puts one card in the spell/trap slots and calls out, “Next, I play Polymerization! Now, I can fuse my Magician with Buster Blader!” Ami discards her Buster Blader (2600/2300) monster with her Dark Magician, Buster Blader comes to the field, the two monsters go into a fusion vortex, Ami takes one fusion monster card from her fusion deck, puts it on her duel disk, and yells out, “Now, I summon Dark Paladin to the field in attack mode!” Out of the fusion vortex, Dark Paladin (2900/2400) comes to the field in attack mode and Ami tells Bastion, “And thanks to his ability, he gains five hundred attack points for every dragon-type monster on the field and in our graveyards! And since there is one, Dark Paladin gains five hundred more attack points!” Dark Paladin's stats rise from 2900/2400 to 3400/2400!

 

Serena says, worriedly, “But that's not enough to take out that Cyber Dark Dragon!”

 

Ami puts another card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Next, I give him my Megamorph spell card! Since my life-points are less than yours, Dark Paladin's original attack points are doubled!” Dark Paladin's stats increase from 3400/2400 to 6300/2400! Bastion gives a winch of surprise from this move and Ami calls out, “Now, I attack Cyber Dark Dragon!” Dark Paladin then jumps into the air and prepares to attack Cyber Dark Dragon! Ami then puts one more card in the spell/trap slots and yells out, “Finally, I play my Battle Fusion Quick-Spell card! When used in a battle, my Paladin gets the same attack points that Cyber Dark Dragon has now!” Dark Paladin's stats increase from 6300/2400 to 11,800/2400!

 

Bastion yells out, in shock, “Oh no! I'll lose!”

 

Ami tells Bastion, with a serious tone, “I'm sorry, Bastion-sempai, but this is for your own good!” Ami then commands, “Dark Paladin, end this duel! Black Magical Blast!” Dark Paladin launches a powerful mystical wave at Cyber Dark Dragon that only destroys Tyrant Dragon equip to Cyber Dark Dragon, but Bastion yells out in pain as he loses 6300 life-points, ending this duel immediately.

Bastion: 0

 

Bastion loudly groans out as the negative energy leaves his body, his eye color and hair color returns to normal, and his general uniform transforms back in his Ra Yellow uniform and clothing he originally wore. Soon after, he collapses to the ground on his back and into unconsciousness.

 

Jaden yells out, worriedly, “Bastion!” Soon after, everyone immediately runs over to him and Ami puts Bastion into her arms.

 

Mindy calls out to him, “Bastion, are you okay?!”

 

Syrus tells Bastion's unconscious form, “Speak to us, Bastion!” However, Bastion doesn't move or say a word.

 

A few tears come to Ami's eyes and she tells him, weakly, “Bastion-sempai, I'm so sorry. Please come back to us.” Soon after, Ami kisses Bastion on his forehead and the symbol of Mercury blazes on Ami's forehead causing a bright ice-blue light.

 

Chazz yells out, seriously, “What in the hell is going on here?!” Soon after, new memories flow into Jaden's and Serena's minds from their days in the Silver Millennium as Princess Serenity and Prince Judai.

 

Flashback; the Moon Kingdom around sometime before the end of the Silver Millennium

 

Within a great library within the Moon Kingdom, we find a young teenage man of fifteen years of age that looks similar to Bastion Misawa, expect he is a wearing a dark yellow version of Prince Endymon's outfit with a silver version of Prince Endymon's armor over it, he has a dark brown belt across his waist armor with a brown hilted sword with a beautiful silver blade inside of a sheath attached to the belt. He is studying a book on a large marble table with practically dozens of other books on the table with him.

 

Just then a familiar male voice calls out, “In the books, again, Lord Daichi?” The young teenage man, known Lord Daichi, whips his head towards the source of the voice to see Prince Judai standing in front of him with a sly smile on his lips.

 

Lord Daichi says, with a surprised tone in his voice, which sounds exactly like Bastion's voice expect a bit deeper and more mature, “My prince, I didn't hear you come in.”

 

Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, “Hey, Daichi, we are good friends after all. Just call me Judai.”

 

Lord Daichi tells Prince Judai, with a smile, “I wish that I could, but it is bad manner to address the son of the great Queen Serenity like that, even if you and I are friends.”

 

Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, with a sly smile, “Daichi, look, we are alone, so, I won't tell anyone if you won't.”

 

Lord Daichi tells Prince Judai, with a kind chuckle, “Well, I guess not.”

 

Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, with a smile, “Hitting the books, again.”

 

Lord Daichi replies, with a smile, “But of course. I can't continue being one of your loyal guardians and a member of your court if I do not study for whatever might come up in the future.”

 

Prince Judai says, with a sly smile, “It isn't to impress a certain Mercian Princess, huh?”

 

Lord Daichi gains a blush on his cheek and exclaims, embarrassed, “I do not get what you are implying, my prince! I am a loyal knight of this kingdom and I don't have time for silly distractions such as romance!”

 

Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, with a sly grin, “Then why do you blush every time that Princess Ami of Mercury comes close to you, especially in her Sailor Scout form.” Lord Daichi's blush becomes a bright cheery red and Prince Judai giggles as he runs off.

 

Lord Daichi says, with a huff, “I don't get what my prince is implying.” Lord Daichi can't get rid of the blush in his cheeks as he can't get Sailor Mercury off his mind and Prince Judai notices this.

 

Flashback; another time in the Moon Kingdom before the end of the Silver Millennium

 

In the great ball room of the Moon Kingdom, we find Lord Daichi, wearing a black mask over a black formal suit shirt, pants, and shoes with a white formal shirt underneath the black formal suit as well as a dark yellow tie around his neck, staying near the walls with arms crossed against his chest while Princess Serenity and Prince Judai look at him with curious looks. Soon after, Prince Judai whispers something into his sister's ear, she giggles, and she nods her head at the unheard agreement. Princess Serenity then heads off to get someone while Prince Judai goes over to Lord Daichi.

 

Lord Daichi notices him and he asks, “Oh, my prince, what are you doing?”

 

Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, “Can you follow me, Daichi? I need a favor for you.”

 

Lord Daichi tells Prince Judai, nodding his head, “Of course.” Prince Judai then heads off into the crowd while Lord Daichi following, wondering what his prince needed him for. Soon after, they were in the middle of the crowd of dancers when they run right into Princess Serenity and Princess Ami, wearing a bright blue version of Princess Serenity's dress.

 

Princess Serenity tells Prince Judai, in an innocent tone, “Oh, brother. I'm glad that you are here. Princess Ami doesn't have an escort for the ball this evening.”

 

Prince Judai motions to Lord Daichi and says, with a sly smile, “Well, I've got a friend right here that can help.” Prince Judai asks Lord Daichi, “You don't mind, do you?”

 

Lord Daichi and Princess Ami blush in embarrassment and Lord Daichi replies, stuttering, “Well . .. I mean . . .”

 

Prince Judai quickly move Lord Daichi in front of him while Princess Serenity does the same with Princess Ami and Prince Judai tells Lord Daichi, “That's great, Daichi!”

 

Princess Serenity tells Princess Ami, with a sly smile, “Have fun, you two!” Princess Serenity and Prince Judai then run away from the two of them.

 

Princess Ami calls out to Princess Serenity, “Princess Serenity, wait!” However, it was too late, but she and her brother were long gone. The two of them look towards each other with their heads lowered and wide blushes on their cheeks.

 

Lord Daichi asks Princess Ami, nervously, “Princess Ami, do . . . do . . . do you wish to dance?”

 

Princess Ami replies, nervously, “S-Sure, Lord Daichi.” Soon after, Lord Daichi gently takes Princess Ami's hands and the two of them start to dance in an elegant fashion.

 

Lord Daichi tells Princess Ami, nervously, “You look very beautiful tonight, Princess Ami.”

 

Princess Ami replies, in the same nervous fashion, “Oh, thank you, Lord Daichi.” On the meanwhile, Princess Serenity and Prince Judai look at this scene with wide smiles on their lips.

 

Prince Judai tells Princess Serenity, with a smile, “Well, sister, mission accomplished.”

 

Princess Serenity tells Prince Judai, with a smile, “Princess Mina would be so jealous that we were able to bring those lovebirds together.” As they continued to watch, Princess Ami and Lord Daichi to dance, the two children of Queen Serenity watch with wide smiles on their lips.

 

End Flashback; Return to the Present

 

After the flashbacks in Serena's and Jaden's mind are done, we find ourselves back in front of Duel Academy while the blue glow from the symbol of Mercury on Ami's forehead sends blue energy into Bastion's unconscious form causing him to glow bright blue for a seconds. Soon after, the glow fades from Bastion and Ami's forehead, the symbol of Mercury vanishes from her forehead. Soon after, Bastion gives out a groan as he slowly opens his eyes and looks to see all of his friends and allies looking at him with smiles on their faces, expect for Chazz.

 

Bastion asks everyone, “What is going on everyone? How did I get here?”

 

Jaden tells Bastion, with a smile, “It is a long story, Bastion.”

 

Alexis tells Bastion, with her own smile, “We are just glad that you are okay.”

 

Tyranno asks Bastion, “What's the last thing that you remember soldier?”

 

Bastion replies, “Zane challenged me to a duel in front of the abandoned dorm.”

 

Everyone gasps in shock and Syrus asks, stunned, “My brother challenged you?!”

 

Bastion nods his head in reply, “Yes. He was totally brainwashed into Beryl's control. His eyes were totally lifeless and empty. But then before I knew it, I was struck in the back and knocked out! Everything from there is a blank.” Bastion gasps and says, solemnly, “Beryl did something to me, didn't she?”

 

Jasmine tells Bastion, nervously, “Yeah. She kind of brainwashed you and sent you against us.”

 

Mindy tells Bastion, “But Ami saved you by dueling you and somehow healing you.”

 

Bastion looks at Ami and he asks, stunned, “She did?”

 

Ami replies, with a blush in her cheeks, “It was nothing, Bastion-sempai. I'm sure that you along with the others would have done the same for me.”

 

Bastion tells Ami, with a smile, “Well, thank you for saving me, Ami.”

 

Ami replies, with a slight blush, “It was no problem.”

 

On the meanwhile, Serena goes over to Jaden and she whispers, “Jaden, do you think?”

 

Jaden replies, with a whisper, “Yep. Bastion is a reincarnation of one of my court back in the Silver Millennium and Ami's soulmate. Should we tell them?”

 

Serena whispers to Jaden, with a smile, “Not yet. I think that we should allow those two to come together on their own.” As Serena and Jaden continue to look at the scene, Ami helps Bastion onto his feet and when they saw they were holding hands, the two of them give wide blushes about it.

 

(Back at Queen Beryl's base; on the meanwhile)

 

Back at Queen Beryl's base, Queen Beryl sees this whole event on her crystal ball and she is angered by this turn of events with Zane and Jadeite with her.

 

Queen Beryl yells out, in an evil angered tone, “Damn that little bitch! That moon princess' little girlfriends are just as annoying as she is at times! I swear that they will all pay for this!”

 

Jadeite tells Queen Beryl, in an emotionless tone, “Even through he failed to win, my queen, he did gather us plenty of energy from Sailor Mercury.”

 

Queen Beryl tells Jadeite, with a sigh, “Yes, it isn't a total loss. But it is nowhere close enough to revive the Negaverse. However, the instant an opportunity comes up, we shall strike and I swear that Queen Serenity's children and all of their friends shall pay!”

 

Next time in Chapter 13: The Dark Side of Mars: In the aftermath of the duel between Bastion and Ami, Serena and Jaden reveal their newest memories to their friends and loved ones and they are shocked to learn of Bastion's past life in the Silver Millennium while Mina and Atticus reveal their `bond' from the Silver Millennium as well as their `role' as a new couple. Soon after, Bastion and Ami go on a date and soon enough, they admit their feeling to each other while Atticus and Mina go out on their first date. However, peace isn't going to last for our heroes and heroines as Sartorius, still possessed by the Light of Destruction, goes over the person that's represented by The High Priestess Tarot card, Rei Hino, believing that she is the key to bring down our Moon Princess. The evil alien power makes a plot to trap her in a duel with him and brainwash her into the Society of Light. However, one of the remaining members in the SOL isn't who she seems and this `member', known as Alinna, revealed to be the one that helped Alexis get over what happened during her time in the SOL, is faking being under the control of the Light of Destruction since she had a powerful `shadow' implanted in her mind to prevent herself from falling under the control of the Light of Destruction. When Alinna learns of the trap, she tries to send information to our heroes and heroines, but she is found out as a spy. Alinna then reveals that she is a Sailor Scout known as Eternal Sailor Earth and she makes her escape. However, she is too late when Rei falls into a trap and even through she duels bravely, Sartorius defeats our Sailor Senshi of Fire, but Rei doesn't fall under the control of the Light of Destruction. It is much worse. An evil presence sealed within Rei's body is released by the Light of Destruction's attempt to take control of Rei and this evil power takes over Rei's body instead causing the evil alien power one nasty shock, literally! Soon after, Queen Beryl meets with this evil entity, calling herself Lady Eris, named after the Greek Goddess of Chaos and Destruction, and they agree to team up. Lady Eris attacks our group of heroes and heroines after they learned of the plot against Rei from Alinna/Sailor Earth and they learn about the `dark curse' on the Hino family that was passed on to Rei. Lady Eris challenges Serena to a duel, but Aster Phoenix steps instead and battles Lady Eris in a deadly Shadow Duel where the loser loses his or her soul to Shadow Realm, but Lady Eris makes sure that this Shadow Game has Rei's spirit on the line! If Aster wins, Rei's soul is sent into the shadows and if Aster loses, his soul is lost! And to make this duel even more sick, every time that a player loses life-points, they lose more and more of their energy! Can Aster find a way to win this duel and not sacrifice our Sailor Senshi of Fire?! We will have to hope and see on the next intense romantic, dramatic, and action-filled chapter of Destiny Stars!

 

At long last, a brand new chapter is out! Sorry that this took over a month to get out! Well, I have to report that I barely managed to pass Spanish and I will be allowed to move on to the next level during my upcoming Fall semester this year. However, the bad news is that I'm going to be finding a job for the summer and I won't be able to update as quickly as I originally thought. I need money for the upcoming year. Anyway, what do you think of the scenes in this chapter? The one between Atticus and Mina? Or how about the one between Chazz and Atticus? Sorry to all of you, Chazz fans, for all of the bashing that he got before, but you have to admit, he had a real crush on Alexis and in real life, crushes like Chazz aren't so easy to get over. However, to show Chazz is a good guy, he'll get over that crush and it looks like he is going to get another one. And what about the dramatic scene with Ami and Bastion along with Bastion's past.
