Chapter two `Welcome the Heroine's'

 

Last time:

 

Kaiya and her friends arrived at Duel University only to bump into Issac Princeton who challenges her to duel which Kaiya accepts. Rai and his group decide to watch the duel. Kaiya summons her Elemental Heroine Aphrodite, but it is destroyed by an Axe Raider powered with an equip card attached to it. Now Kaiya is wide open or is she?

 

“You ready to give up Yuki?” Issac sneered as the smoke cleared all the way away. Suddenly he noticed two small looking cupids on Kaiya's field. “What?”

 

“Sorry, but my little Heroine was an effect monster. You see when she is destroyed by battle or card effect when she is on the field she leaves behind two cupid tokens,” Kaiya explained.

 

Cupid Tokens - Attack: 1000/ Defense: 1000

 

“I'll set one card and end my turn,” Issac said.

 

“My turn!” Kaiya said as she drew her card. “I sacrifice one of my tokens in order to summon my next Heroine known as Elemental Heroine Helius!” As the token disappeared a new Heroine took its place. She had short cut light brown hair and blue eyes dressed in a gold dress appeared in a bright flash of golden light.

 

Elemental Heroine Helius - Attack: 2000/Defense: 2000

 

“Thanks to my field spell she also gain an attack boost,” Kaiya said.

 

“Not so fast! I activate my face down card Mystical Space Typhoon! You should know that now I can destroy any spell or trap card on the field and I choose that field spell of yours,” Issac said. Winds began to blow at Kaiya's field spell who grinned.

 

“Are you really sure you want to use that now?” Kaiya asked him.

 

“You got that right! So say goodbye to that spell card,” he said. As the field spell crumbled a sliver light began to shine from beneath the ground of it. “What the?” Issac asked.

 

“I asked and you said no, which means you just activated my Palace's second effect. When ever it is destroyed I can special summon one of my good friends to the field and she goes by the name of Elemental Heroine Selene!” Kaiya called. The silver light grew brighter and now standing next to Helius was another blonde girl, but her hair was the same as Serena from Sailor Moon and blue eyes in a silver dress.

 

Elemental Heroine Selene - Attack: 3000/Defense: 3000

 

“All right! Kaiya now has three monsters on the field compared to his one and one of hers is stronger than his,” Jaime said.

 

“Oh shit!” Issac cursed.

 

“You got that right. Now Selene attack his Axe Raider! Justice Light Burst!” Kaiya called. Her warrior charged Issac's monster then sent a burst of silver light.

 

Kayla: 3100

Issac: 3700

 

“Wow! She's really turning this duel around and she still has 2 monsters left to attack,” the Tristen look a like said.

 

“Now Helius attack him directly! Solar Flare Elimination!” Kaiya called. Her other warrior darted towards Issac and unleashed golden light at Issac who cried out.

 

Kaiya: 3100

Issac: 1700

 

“Now I attack you with my Cupid Token!” Kaiya said. The token flew up in the air and then shoot a heart arrow down at Issac who cringed after it hit him.

 

Kaiya: 3100

Issac: 700

 

“I'll set one card face down and end my turn,” Kaiya told him.

 

“My turn,” Issac called as drew his card.

 

“He better make this one count or he's done for,” Rai's little sister said.

 

“I activate the magic card Hammer Shot!” Issac called. A huge hammer appeared and smashed Selene sending her to the grave.

 

“Selene!” Kaiya called.

 

“Now since you have two monsters on the field while I have no monsters on the field I can special summon The Fiend Megacyber to the field in attack mode!” Issac called as his new warrior took the field.

 

The Fiend Megacyber - Attack: 2200/Defense: 1200

 

“His warrior is stronger than hers!” the Joey look-a-like said. Rai kept his gaze on Kaiya. She seemed unaffected by Issac summoning his new warrior.

 

`She must have a plan and it probably includes that card she set,' Rai though to himself.

 

“Megacyber attack her Token!” Issac called. His warrior charged Kaiya's token.

 

“Not so fast Issac. I knew that you would try to attack my weakest card so I activate this! Magic Cylinder!” Kaiya called. Two strange cylinders appeared on Kaiya's side of the field. Megacyber went in one and then appear out of the other one headed right for Issac. “As you know your attack gets defected right back at you.” Megacyber slammed his fist right at Issac. He cried out in pain as his life points hit zero.

 

Kaiya: 3100

Issac: 0

 

“How? How can I lose to someone like her?” Issac asked himself as he collapsed to his knees.

 

“Because you underestimated her,” a female voice said. Everyone glanced over to see a boy and girl approach them. The girl looked like Zane. The boy looked like Seto Kaiba. The girl's gaze was solely on Azumi and she stared coldly at her. Kaiya saw Azumi freeze. She knew instantly who the girl was and she was Naiya Truesdale, the daughter to Zane Truesdale, and cousin to Azumi.

 

“Hey Naiya,” Kaiya said as stepped of the duel arena and made her way over to her friends. She stood next to Azumi to show her support since Naiya didn't really like Azumi for some reason or another. The rest of Kaiya's friends also stood near Azumi. For they knew the troubles Naiya had given Azumi.

 

Naiya glanced at Kaiya and then at the rest of the gang gathered around Azumi. “It seems you have made it,” Naiya said.

 

“Is that who I think it is?” Rai's sister asked.

 

“Enko,” the dusty blonde said. Rai glared at Enko while his attention was on Issac who was depressingly looking at the ground.

 

“Let's go,” Enko said and then strolled off with Naiya right behind him along with Issac and Issac glared at Kaiya as they left.

 

Kaiya looked at her friend who sighed in relief. “You ok?” Kaiya asked her.

 

“Yeah. I just hope I don't have to bunk with her,” Azumi said.

 

“Our bunk mates! Let's go! We have to go!” With that Kaiya rushed away with the rest of her gang following.

 

Rai and his group still remained where they had been watching the duel. “That was intense,” the Tristen look-a-like said.

 

“Yeah she kept her cool all the way through,” the dusty blonde said.

 

“She may be good, but she'll never beat my brother,” Rai's sister said.

 

“I don't Aru. I think that Kaiya girl has more surprises in that deck then we just saw. She may be able to beat me if we ever have a duel against one another. Let's go. We have to find out what rooms we are in as well,” Rai said and then he walked away with the other three following.

 

Kaiya and Azumi quickly found their dorm room that they would be sharing with two boys since it was set up that two girls and two boys shared a dorm room so this way one gender didn't feel outnumbered. “I wonder who our roommates will be?” Azumi asked Kaiya as they headed into a bedroom in the dorm room that had green plaid wallpaper. Azumi choose the bed closest to the door while Kaiya took the other one.

 

“I don't care. As long as they hot, good duelists, and not annoying,” Kaiya said as she began to unpack her bags. Just then they heard their dorm room door open.

 

“That must be then,” Azumi said.

 

“Let's check them out,” Kaiya said as she rushed to the door with Azumi following. To their great surprise standing their with their own bags at their feet was Rai and his dusty blonde haired friend.

 

“Hey! You two were watching Kaiya's duel,” Azumi said realizing who they were.

 

“They were watching me?” Kaiya asked Azumi who nodded and then Kaiya realized something else. “You were the one to suggest that me and Issac duel,” Kaiya said. Rai nodded. “I'm Kaiya Yuki and this is one of my many friends Azumi Truesdale.”

 

“I'm Kichiro Wheeler and this guy is Raijin Mutou, but we all call him Rai for short,” the dusty blonde said.

 

Kaiya and Azumi gapped at their new roommates. “Kichiro Wheeler?” Azumi asked.

 

“And Raijin Mutou?” Kaiya asked.

 

“You've heard of us?” Rai asked.

 

“Not you exactly just your parents. So Kichiro is the son of Joey and Mai Wheeler while Raijin is the son of Yugi and Tea Mutou,” Kaiya said.

 

“Please just call me Rai,” Rai said.

 

“Sure,” both girls said.

 

“I guess you got your wish for good duelists Kaiya,” Azumi said.

 

“Yeah this is going to be one awesome year!” Kaiya exclaimed.
