Yugi- DOA Volleyball Player?!

(Author's Notes: Hi, everyone! DJ here, and I'm really sorry for the delay. Here is why:

1.) A few anonymous reviewers left by some really nasty, very hurtful flames. They wounded my story writing pride, which is very valuable to me. I deleted them yes, but I'm unsure about myself now.

2.) We're still settling down in this new house of ours. I have changed Internet servers, so thus my e-mail has changed as well.

Yugi: Before we start, DJ has some questions for you all. Apparently, he wants to start another crossover after he finishes this one and Yugi: Street Fighter!

Darien: He will work on Yugi: Spirit Blacksmith?! and the new one. Unfortunately, he doesn't know either to start a Yu-Gi-Oh/Totally Spies or Yu-Gi-Oh/Teen Titans. Which should he pick, and also who to pair Yugi up with? He is letting you decide!

DJ: Also, here is a personal one. Is it wrong for people to go nuts over a fanfic that they have never seen or heard of before? The three reviewers I mentioned earlier… let's just say they make that negative critic on American Idol look like a schoolboy.

Now, on with the fanfic!)

Chapter 17

Two beings tore through the jungle terrain of Zack Island. One was a tall woman, the other a slightly small young man. It was Cas, and she was holding to her chest tightly the near broken body of Yugi Moto. The man was in terrible shape, too many cuts and bruises on his face. His clothes were in tatters and his hair was slightly matter with his own blood. He was trying to hang on, trying so hard not to go into unconsciousness. The young lady looked down at the small bundle she was carrying at the moment, half-fascinated to hold the man she secretly loved in her arms… and half-frightened to see that he was struggling to hold on. 'Such a strong man! Any other would have been knocked-out long ago!', she thought. She was trying very hard to find a hiding spot for both her and Yugi, so the small hero could rest and regain some of his strength. Unfortunately, each time she found a good spot, cameras monitored it. Thus, she had to continue running with Yugi in her arms. Just then, as she and the man were heading towards another spot, her watch beeped. Quickly switching Yugi over to her right arm, she hoisted her left one and pushed a small button on the side of the Rolex watch. Suddenly, the face of the clock flipped over and a small monitor screen was revealed. Two lovely women showed on the scene. It was Peorth and Laga! "Hey, what's up?!", Cas exclaimed. Peorth warned them, "We got problems! It seems that Zack's computer's automatically inform him of any movement in the jungle interior.". The woman groaned slightly and inquired, "And what does that mean for us?!". Laga answered, "Unless you're invisible to its sensors, Zack can track and find you wherever you are!".

Cas groaned in frustration at this, stopping a moment to catch her breath. Yugi slowly opened his eyes and saw that his rescuer was panting hard. "You alright?", he asked weakly. Cas looked down at him, and managed a small smile. "Yes, I'm fine. I-I'm just catching my breath.", she answered. Yugi then looked down and saw the watch. "W-What is that?", he asked. The two cyber cuties looked at the young hero and smiled warmly. "Pleased to finally meet you, Yugi Moto. My name is Peorth, and this is my sister Laga.", the cyber goddess spoke as she and her sister bowed in respect. Yugi did likewise. "So, what should we do now?", Cas asked her computer companions. Laga thought for a moment, soon coming up with an idea. "How about this?!", she exclaimed. She told them that she and Laga would be able to hack into Zack's computer system on the island, and create a firewall of some sort to disable the cameras all along the jungle area. "Sounds like a plan to me!", Cas exclaimed happily. She was very hopeful that it would work, knowing that she couldn't run forever. 'For Yugi, I have to try though!', she thought. Peorth agreed with her sister's plan and both started to go to work. "Be warned, however, that this may take some time!", Peorth warned them. Laga nodded and added, "We maybe Seto's top computer agents, but this computer of Zack's is really tough!". Yugi managed a weak encouragement, "I have… faith in your girls. You can… do it.". That was his last breath, as he slipped into unconsciencness. Darkness overtook him and the pain he felt eased up somewhat. The two smiled at the now sleeping hero, but knew that it would have to wait. "Let's get to work now!", Peorth exclaimed. Soon, the two cyber girls were now hard at work while Cas kept on running with Yugi in her arms.

~Meanwhile, back at the hotel grounds~

The DOA girls were in a heated battle against the male fighters, the fights very much fierce. So vicious, that it would make the UFC look tame by comparison! Kasumi was now using her dagger to help her out, matching blow for blow with Hayate's katana. Her brother was usually emotionless during either a battle or an assassin strike. However, he showed genuine confusion when he battled his sister. "Kasumi, why won't you let me help you?!", he exclaimed before lunging in with a massive overhead swipe. The ninja beauty blocked it with her dagger and as she struggled replied, "Like I said before, I am not under a spell!". She pushed him away with enough force, and went down for a sweep kick. He jumped over it, but also jumped away from his sister. "Then why are you acting this way?!", he demanded. As quick as he asked that question, the answer hit him just as fast and hard. He lowered his katana as he stared incredulously at Kasumi. His face showed open shock, which surprised even Kasumi. "Don't tell me that you're…", he started to say when Kasumi blushed deeply and lowered her head. "It's true. I am… in love with Yugi, by own free will.", she replied meekly. Hayate was shaking his head slightly, seeming to be very much disappointed. He then looked at his sister in the eyes, Kasumi's blood running cold when she saw the emotionless, frosty glare from her brother. "You should know that it is forbidden for a shinobi to love anyone from the outside. For that, Yugi has to die.", he told her coldly. Without another word, Hayate used his ninja speed to zip past a shocked Kasumi and into the steamy jungle. Kasumi's eyes, once wide with shock and horror, now narrowed to show that of anger. "I will… not let… you… kill the one… I love.", she muttered out before streaking off after him. Being ninjas, both could sense a person's presence. And now, they were trying to find Yugi.

Ayane was dealing with Hayabusa, when the two heard and saw the whole thing. "So, your half-sister is in love with a little man like that.", Hayabusa stated flatly. Then, a small smirk formed on his face when he saw Ayane's protective angry face. "And by the looks of it, so are you.", he added. Ayane blushed slightly, but maintained her composure. "So what if I am?!", she retorted. The male shinobi's smirk widened as he realized he was right. "This is just plain weird. The deadly assassin and ninja girl… falling for a boy who looks like he should still be in middle school! Hahahaha!", he declared while laughing out loud. Ayane rushed over to him, to shut him up with a powerful right-hook to the face. However, he dodged the blow and leapt over the ninja girl. "Honestly, Ayane. This is some what low of you.", he told her. Her blood now boiled be as hot as lava! "However, I regret to say that since Hayate is right and loving a person from the outside is forbidden.", he stated flatly. Ayane shook her head slowly, her purple eyes narrowing considerably. "Don't you even think about it.", she whispered venomously. Hayabusa shook his head and replied, "It has to be done. You are not shinobi, so do not interfere.". With that, he turned and streaked towards the jungle. Ayane soon was in hot pursuit, very much angry like a maniac! "You so much as come within fifteen feet of Yugi… you die like the dog you are.", she whispered to the male shinobi.

Meanwhile, Hitomi and Lei Fang were having difficulty of their own. Lei Fang was going against her rival, while Hitomi took on Leon. Jann Lee was completely surprised to see that his female rival was now matching him blow for blow. They were now equals! "Why is this?! How did you become so strong?!", he exclaimed. Lei Fang went into a defensive stance and answered, "Its because of the faith Yugi has in me! Since he believed in my abilities, he has given me the strength to be on your level!". The Dragon shook his head disbelievingly, then he came up with a really ridiculously conclusion. "That can't be it! I now know why you're stronger now! That kid put a spell on you or something to make you become so!", he told her. Lei Fang now looked at him as if he lost his mind. "You have lost it, Lee!", she exclaimed before coming with a high heel kick. Jann Lee blocked it and was about to counter it, when Lei Fang canceled the attack with a counter of her own. "That kid really has put you under a spell, if you have become this good in a short amount of time!", he declared. Lei Fang thought, 'Why can't he see that Yugi's faith in me as allowed me to become stronger?! And that I… love him.'. Jann Lee then saw a window of opportunity. He looked at Lei Fang coldly and stated in an icy voice, "In order for me to break this spell that brat has on you, I am going to kill him.". Seeing that her left side was momentarily open, he dashed off from that area and streaked towards the jungle. Lei Fang gasped in horror for a split second, then followed right after her rival.

Hitomi was standing up pretty good against the mercenary powerhouse known to all as Leon. Even the tall, muscular man was amazed that the small girl was able to match his blows move for move. "Little girl, why are protecting one that raped you?", he asked with confusion. To him, it made absolutely no sense for a woman to protect someone who had just raped her. Hitomi shook her head furiously and exclaimed, "For the last time, I was not raped by Yugi or put under a spell like Zack told you!! I'm protecting him because I care about him!". Leon looked into the woman's eyes, and saw that they were shimmering slightly. He got up from the ground, him being on it thanks to a karate throw courtesy of Hitomi. He didn't bother to dust himself off as he stood a few feet from the petite woman. He now saw the truth. "You don't just care for him, do you?", he inquired coldly. Hitomi blushed slightly, but maintained her fighting stance. "You like him a lot, do you not?", he asked. She nodded her head briefly before replying, "Yes, I do like him a lot.". Leon then shook his head sadly, almost in a pitying manner. He looked at Hitomi and stated, "I am sorry for this, then. However, Zack has paid me and Bayaman in advance to put this boy in the ground. And I never leave a job unfinished.". With a burst of strength, he heaved Hitomi into the air and high and made a dash into the jungle. When Hitomi landed, gracefully at that, she made a mad dash after Leon. "Not this time then, Leon! This is one job that you are never going to finish!", she said to herself.

Christie and Bayaman were going at like nothing before! Assassin against assassin, brute strength against sleek strikes. Bayaman was impressed that Christie had improved since they last met. However, he was surprised to see that the coldness in her eyes were now gone and replaced by something else. Unfortunately, he could not quite place his finger on this new emotion. He stood up erect and demanded, "Let me through, Christie. I need to kill that kid and collect my money soon.". Christie took up an offensive stance and replied, "No, Bayaman. I will not let you pass, and that is it!". The huge assassin shook his head and quickly threw a massive left hook. As quick as a snake, Christie dodged the strike and countered with a two-hit snake-like strike! Bayaman recovered quickly, but was surprised by the speed of Christie. 'Is it possible she is now… faster then before?!', he thought. To him, she was never that fast before. He stood before her and made an offer. "Christie, stop this now. Join me in this as a fellow assassin, and I promise to give you a cut on the money Zack promised me and Leon.", he offered her. Christie shook her head firmly and answered, "No, Bayaman. I will not join you for two reasons. One, I am no longer an assassin.". This really shocked the large brute to no end. "What?!", he exclaimed. Christie smirked and continued, "That is right! Thanks to that young man Yugi, I'm no longer interested in being an assassin. He is also the second reason I'm turning down your offer.". Shocked Bayaman was before, now he was stupefied. "You're telling me… you gave up everything of a professional assassin… JUST FOR THAT KID?!?", he exclaimed. Christie nodded and replied, "Yes. I am going to find myself a better future, and it's all thanks to Yugi.". Bayaman growled in this throat. 'I can't believe this! That brat somehow turned my lethal lady into a soft kitten!', he thought. He was now going to make Yugi pay. With incredible strength born from anger, he surged past Christie and bounded into the jungle. Christie landed like a cat on her feet, and made a dash into the jungle after Bayaman. "Not this time, jerk!", she vowed as she surged on.

Zack and Helena were going at it as well, opera diva against multi-millionaire. Helena was quick and very aggressive, but Zack had the flexibility and muscles. Thus, it was fairly even. Helena spat out, "You got a lot of nerve Zack! First, tricking us to come to this island of yours! And now this!". Zack just chuckled as he hopped around some, still energized and ready to go. "Surprised you ladies with this little ploy of mine, huh?", he asked in a joking manner. Helena then smirked and replied in the same manner, "On the contrary, we suspected this all along.". Now, it was Zack's turn to be confused. Helena's smirk widened as she continued, "We knew all along it was you planting those so called "accidents" that Yugi fell into. That's why we've been hanging out with him all this time. To protect him from you!". Zack was dumbfounded, but hid it with a sly smile. "Well, well. It seems you girls are actually smarter then you look.", he told her. Now that was below the belt for the opera diva. She came in with a powerful three-hit combo move, but Zack was able to block the strong attacks. Just then, his watch started to beep and a little red light started to flash on top.

He maintained his fighting stance while he checked it out. He pushed the red light down, and a small monitor popped up. The screen was pictured like a bulls-eye target, and near the center of it was a small red blip amidst a large green background. Zack smiled evilly, then turned his attention back to his opponent. "Hehehe. It seems your little friend is stronger then I thought. He's moving around very quickly in the jungle there.", he told her smugly. She was shocked to hear this news. "You mean… you can track down Yugi?!", she demanded. Zack chuckled and answered, "Yes, I can. Thanks to a little tracking device I put on his shirt collar earlier.". He then ran towards her, seemingly ready to strike. She prepared herself to counter it, but was surprised to see him leap over her and dash towards the jungle. "I'll be sure to bring back Yugi… in a body bag!! Hahahaha!!", he called out before disappearing the green foliage. Helena gave chase, determined not to let Zack get his hands on Yugi.

Tina was matching throw for throw with her father, both trading off wrestling moves and counter-throws like never before! Heck, they could give the WWE Superstars some pointers! Bass was surprised, and also secretly proud, to see that his daughter had indeed gotten stronger and faster. The problem was the situation of the matter. "Tina, get outta my way now!", Bass bellowed. Tina shook her head and stood her ground. "No, Dad! I am not going to let you through and hurt Yugi some more!", she retorted. Bass was very much stunned to see his daughter be so defiant and stubborn. 'She was always stubborn and headstrong, but not this much! What is going on?', he thought. He then remembered Zack's words and concluded that the reason for Tina's stubbornness was because Yugi had used his magic on her. "Tina, you're being manipulated by that kid! Can't you see that?!", he exclaimed. Tina shook her head in a pitying manner and replied, "Boy, you must be losing it, old man! Like I said before, Zack is the one manipulating things around here! Yugi just happens to be a good friend of mine, and I'm not going to let you hurt him!". Bass was very much shocked, and also angry. Tina was a rowdy girl, but never like this! "Grrr! Tina… out of my way… NOW!!!", the pro-wrestler yelled out. In a pure rage, he charged towards her, tackled her down hard into the ground, and soon headed off into the jungle like the rest of them. Tina was very much flattened by the ramming roadblock that was her father, but she willed herself to get up and go after him. "I have to warn Lisa! Otherwise… Yugi will not survive another round with them.", the busty blonde said to herself.

So, it was now a race. Who will get to Yugi first? Will he and Cas survive? But, wait! What about Serenity, Seto, and also Lisa! What about their battles?
